ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Have you ever lost weight, celebrated the results and eventually found yourself right back where you started? Tiffany James knows that cycle and she discovered that lasting change required more than another diet.
In this episode of Writers With Purpose, Tiffany discusses her book, PHIT for LIFE: Find Purpose While You Lose Weight Naturally & Spiritually, and how she broke away from yo-yo dieting and has maintained her weight loss for more than 13 years. Tiffany shares her perspective on the connection between physical, mental and spiritual “weight” and explains how faith, mindset and sustainable lifestyle changes became part of her journey.
She and Melvese discuss sugar cravings, fad diets, binge exercising, weight-loss plateaus, healthy routines and why trying to change everything overnight can make long-term success even harder. Most importantly, Tiffany encourages readers to stop comparing their bodies and journeys to everyone else’s and learn to love themselves where they are while continuing to grow.
