ABOUT THIS EPISODE
On a silent summer night in 1977, a massive radio telescope in Ohio scans the stars, listening for the impossible. Then, out of the cosmic static, something arrives. A signal so strong, so precise, so wrong that it stops a scientist in his tracks. He grabs a red pen, circles the data, and scrawls one word: 'Wow!'
Was this mankind’s first contact with alien intelligence or the universe playing a cruel trick?
Today, join Gary & GoldieAnn as we listen Within the Mists of the stars for the Wow! Signal – the most tantalizing possible real proof for extraterrestrial contact ever recorded. The stars are calling.
