ABOUT THIS EPISODE
CPS Energy and AEP Texas have postponed three “open house” meetings this week in Alice, George West, and Floresville. The meetings, planned for Aug. 25, 26, and 27, were scheduled for community members to learn more about construction of 150 miles of new 765 kV transmission line proposed through parts of Atascosa, Bee, Bexar, Duval, Jim Wells, Karnes, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, San Patricio, and Wilson counties. The project is planned to connect AEP’s Blu Lacy Station and CPS Energy’s Howard Station. Various routes for the high-power electrical lines are under consideration. More information on the project can be found...
