Benjamin Krause is the founder and CEO of Armo Press, LLC and creator of its website DisabledVeterans.org. He created the website to battle VA in the court of public opinion. On the site, Benjamin writes news articles and veteran stories that inform the public and help veterans get their benefits. He also openly discusses his own benefits struggles as a disabled veteran.
During law school, Benjamin joined forces with Veterans For Common Sense to assist in their public relations campaign on Capitol Hill resulting from their class action law suit against VA. He testified before the Democratic National Platform Committee (CSPAN) for the 2012 election cycle. He has also worked with numerous media outlets on veterans issues including Bloomberg TV, CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, the Star Tribune, and others. Benjamin’s veterans advocacy work was well highlighted by the Pioneer Press article by columnist Ruben Rosario called, Veteran has fought VA, but he would rather help fix it.
