ABOUT THIS EPISODE
It’s been a minute since the last episode of While My Batteries Charge, and there’s a LOT to catch up on.
In this episode, Tony talks about the 10th annual Great Lakes Gauntlet, the mud, the mayhem, and some of the mini crawler competitions that made the weekend so much fun. He also dives into the newly released CompFrog hard bodies, why they were created, how the short and long versions came together, and what builders are already doing with them.
There’s also plenty of RC talk from the past couple of months, including Horizon RC Fest, a 205-foot ARRMA Typhon 6S long jump, the Axial SCX30 Toyota Tacoma, the new SCX10.3 Jeep Cherokee XJ, Furitek releases, FMS crawlers, Hobby Plus Ford rally trucks, RC NASCAR, Mojave GROMs, lap timing systems, and even a 70+ mph hydroplane.
And because this is While My Batteries Charge, somehow the conversation also wanders through hydroplane racing, AI thumbnails, getting stuck in the mud, camping in a trailer, smoking ribs, and building a carport.
Basically…there was a lot to catch up on.
