ToM (Ch9): Action Chapter

WEBVTT
1
00:00:17.320 --> 00:00:21.879
Hello, Hi, and welcome back once again to Wheel Takes,
2
00:00:21.920 --> 00:00:25.039
a podcast about the Wheel of Time, a series of
3
00:00:25.079 --> 00:00:27.600
fantasy novels written by Rober Jordan completed by Brandon Sanderson.
4
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:28.480
I'm gus, I've read them.
5
00:00:28.359 --> 00:00:32.479
All and I'm Ali and I am on book thirteen. Yeah,
6
00:00:32.679 --> 00:00:34.000
chapter nine.
7
00:00:34.200 --> 00:00:38.520
Yep, this podcast, you nailed it. Oh fuck, this podcast
8
00:00:38.600 --> 00:00:41.439
only contains spoilers for what Ali has already read and
9
00:00:41.479 --> 00:00:45.359
again today. That is everything up to and including Towers
10
00:00:45.359 --> 00:00:50.119
of Midnight chapter nine. Yay. This is our fourth week
11
00:00:50.159 --> 00:00:52.560
in a row. We've actually gotten an episode up when
12
00:00:52.560 --> 00:00:53.280
we're supposed to.
13
00:00:54.240 --> 00:00:55.560
Our fourth week in a row.
14
00:00:55.439 --> 00:00:56.520
Fourth week in a row.
15
00:00:56.920 --> 00:00:58.240
Look at us, we're killing it.
16
00:00:58.359 --> 00:01:01.159
Got us. It's almost like we're real by casters or something.
17
00:01:01.240 --> 00:01:04.079
Oh stop, we're doing a lot.
18
00:01:04.239 --> 00:01:05.239
Oh no, no, no, I'm.
19
00:01:05.439 --> 00:01:07.359
I'm I'm just but we're back at it.
20
00:01:07.400 --> 00:01:11.120
Baby, glad to be consistent again. I've missed this me too.
21
00:01:11.680 --> 00:01:12.519
I've missed it too.
22
00:01:13.200 --> 00:01:13.799
How are you doing?
23
00:01:15.480 --> 00:01:16.000
Real? Good?
24
00:01:16.599 --> 00:01:18.200
Excellent? So happy, excellent.
25
00:01:20.400 --> 00:01:23.799
I I'm a little sick, so I might be coughing,
26
00:01:23.920 --> 00:01:24.959
but otherwise I'm good.
27
00:01:25.400 --> 00:01:28.079
I start filming a movie this week. Oh, very fun.
28
00:01:28.920 --> 00:01:32.879
Should still be able to record? I think before next week,
29
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:34.799
I think we'll be able to do that. I'm doing
30
00:01:34.920 --> 00:01:37.799
I'm doing night shoots all week, which means that I'm
31
00:01:37.799 --> 00:01:42.439
working from you know, sundown to sun up, which here
32
00:01:42.599 --> 00:01:46.519
is something like nine pm to five a m. So
33
00:01:46.599 --> 00:01:47.560
it is a nine to five.
34
00:01:48.079 --> 00:01:49.840
It's just the other way around.
35
00:01:49.879 --> 00:01:51.879
It's kind of nine to five. And then I'm also
36
00:01:51.959 --> 00:01:54.760
technically still working at my job job.
37
00:01:54.920 --> 00:01:55.840
How are you going to do that?
38
00:01:56.040 --> 00:01:57.959
I told him not to call me in the morning.
39
00:01:58.359 --> 00:02:01.120
I told my boss, please do not call me before noon.
40
00:02:01.599 --> 00:02:04.120
It's like, I'm happy to work late, but I would
41
00:02:04.159 --> 00:02:06.319
really appreciate it if I could, because I can take
42
00:02:06.319 --> 00:02:08.719
time off. He said, no, that's fine, as long as
43
00:02:08.759 --> 00:02:10.719
you still get everything done. I was like, wow, parbat
44
00:02:10.719 --> 00:02:13.479
of the best boss in the ever world. Shout out
45
00:02:13.479 --> 00:02:17.439
to my boss, the best boss in the world. Uh.
46
00:02:17.879 --> 00:02:20.560
Yeah, because that's the thing about creatives is we have
47
00:02:20.599 --> 00:02:23.719
to balance our jobs with our jobs.
48
00:02:23.840 --> 00:02:29.159
Yeah. Uh. Chapter nine alley is called Blood in the Air.
49
00:02:29.319 --> 00:02:34.120
There's the chapter logo. What is it? It's a wheel. It's
50
00:02:34.159 --> 00:02:36.680
the wheel. This might be kind of a short one
51
00:02:36.680 --> 00:02:37.520
this week.
52
00:02:37.759 --> 00:02:38.319
Or maybe not.
53
00:02:38.800 --> 00:02:41.840
I said, yeah, and then it's like two hours of
54
00:02:42.800 --> 00:02:43.759
I don't even fucking know.
55
00:02:43.719 --> 00:02:47.000
What me coming up with all kinds of shuit, all kinds.
56
00:02:46.800 --> 00:02:49.080
Of exciting things. Take any notes. I think you took
57
00:02:49.080 --> 00:02:49.360
a few.
58
00:02:49.439 --> 00:02:52.280
Think I did. I think it was honestly one note.
59
00:02:53.680 --> 00:02:59.439
Sh it's catching if you yawned, let us.
60
00:02:59.360 --> 00:03:02.159
Know, is it? It's Towers of Midnight.
61
00:03:02.240 --> 00:03:04.439
It is Towers of Midnight. I know you took notes
62
00:03:04.439 --> 00:03:05.960
because he started reading them for chapters.
63
00:03:06.120 --> 00:03:09.199
Yeah, by accident, the golam only took seven to ten
64
00:03:09.280 --> 00:03:13.199
business months to attack. Yes, as efficient as robot customer
65
00:03:13.319 --> 00:03:17.199
service this one. Damn it. Now we have a fucking delay.
66
00:03:17.919 --> 00:03:20.319
We can't go get Moraine now, but we already.
67
00:03:20.039 --> 00:03:22.520
Did remember because of the letter.
68
00:03:22.960 --> 00:03:25.280
Yeah, by it for I had forgotten about the letter.
69
00:03:25.960 --> 00:03:26.199
Is that?
70
00:03:26.280 --> 00:03:26.759
And that's it?
71
00:03:26.879 --> 00:03:28.800
That's it? Well, I mean this is kind of an
72
00:03:28.840 --> 00:03:29.520
action chapter.
73
00:03:29.719 --> 00:03:34.759
So yeah, there's not a lot of like substance, no
74
00:03:34.919 --> 00:03:38.960
well interest of like you know, there's no prophecies to
75
00:03:39.080 --> 00:03:41.639
deep dive on or like anything like that. It's just
76
00:03:41.759 --> 00:03:42.520
it's just action.
77
00:03:42.759 --> 00:03:44.479
It's KABOOMI bamage, which is fun.
78
00:03:44.639 --> 00:03:46.360
I like a good action cheat and.
79
00:03:46.319 --> 00:03:49.199
It is a good action chapter. I guess we'll get
80
00:03:49.199 --> 00:03:51.840
into it. Remember what happened just before the chapter.
81
00:03:51.919 --> 00:03:53.919
He walked into his tent and there was blood.
82
00:03:54.000 --> 00:03:57.879
Smell of blood, always a good sign, the smell of blood, blood, blood.
83
00:03:57.599 --> 00:04:00.000
Blood, blood, blood, blood, blood blood.
84
00:04:00.879 --> 00:04:04.879
Matt ducked immediately. That instinct saved his life. As something
85
00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:07.479
swung through the air above his head. Matt rolled to
86
00:04:07.520 --> 00:04:09.840
the side, his hand hitting something wet as it touched
87
00:04:09.840 --> 00:04:13.719
the floor. Murder, he bellowed, murder in the camp, blowy murder.
88
00:04:14.159 --> 00:04:15.919
Something moved toward him the tent.
89
00:04:15.879 --> 00:04:20.720
And it just turns out a girl just had her period. Robot. Sorry, no,
90
00:04:20.800 --> 00:04:23.079
I'm not periods happened?
91
00:04:23.879 --> 00:04:24.519
Is that the dog?
92
00:04:25.040 --> 00:04:25.759
I mean it wasn't me?
93
00:04:26.040 --> 00:04:30.319
Yeah, I figured, but stinky it wasn't me.
94
00:04:30.720 --> 00:04:31.759
Okay, so it's the dog.
95
00:04:32.680 --> 00:04:35.079
What if it was me? I can't smell, you can't.
96
00:04:35.120 --> 00:04:40.439
Oh it's dug um. That doesn't matter right now, people,
97
00:04:40.480 --> 00:04:43.680
I'm sorry. Back to the action. Uh, so there's big fight.
98
00:04:44.600 --> 00:04:45.040
How's it go?
99
00:04:47.000 --> 00:04:51.399
I mean, all things considered, all right? Yeah, Like a
100
00:04:51.439 --> 00:04:56.160
couple of guys died, which was bad, I said, I
101
00:04:56.199 --> 00:05:00.480
threw stuff at it with air, Yeah, which smart because
102
00:05:00.560 --> 00:05:02.959
she can't do it like it doesn't it's not affected
103
00:05:02.959 --> 00:05:06.519
by channeling, right, Yeah, not really? Could you like sweep
104
00:05:06.519 --> 00:05:08.000
it up an air and drop it off a cliff.
105
00:05:08.079 --> 00:05:10.120
You can't touch it with weaves.
106
00:05:09.720 --> 00:05:13.839
Okay, so but you can throw stuff at it. I
107
00:05:13.920 --> 00:05:20.040
appreciate the ingenuity. Yeah, because throw shit at it? Well
108
00:05:20.079 --> 00:05:22.160
let's yeah, let's let's you know, can you hit it
109
00:05:22.199 --> 00:05:25.000
with a plate like let's I think the.
110
00:05:24.920 --> 00:05:27.439
Best thing to do just at this moment is to
111
00:05:27.519 --> 00:05:30.360
kind of talk about the goal on because we haven't
112
00:05:30.399 --> 00:05:32.160
seen it in a very long time. It has been
113
00:05:32.160 --> 00:05:36.519
a really long time, had.
114
00:05:36.399 --> 00:05:37.360
A really long time.
115
00:05:37.639 --> 00:05:39.279
They are immune to the one power.
116
00:05:39.800 --> 00:05:42.959
Okay, right, we know that in all senses of the word.
117
00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:47.439
Okay, Yeah, and you can't weapons. Do weapons do much?
118
00:05:47.639 --> 00:05:47.839
No?
119
00:05:47.879 --> 00:05:49.680
Not really, not really, So like, what do you do?
120
00:05:50.560 --> 00:05:53.720
That's a really good question. Acid melt it terminator. It's
121
00:05:53.800 --> 00:05:58.160
kind of a two one thousand, except it can't disguise itself.
122
00:05:58.199 --> 00:05:59.680
It just looks really blase, a.
123
00:06:00.240 --> 00:06:04.120
Like a really boring looking person. It looks like Todd
124
00:06:04.160 --> 00:06:04.800
from accounting.
125
00:06:05.040 --> 00:06:08.680
Yeah, okay, your name is Todd and you're an accountant.
126
00:06:08.680 --> 00:06:09.720
We're not talking about you.
127
00:06:09.800 --> 00:06:10.480
They'll let us know.
128
00:06:10.519 --> 00:06:11.879
That's really funny, gorgeous.
129
00:06:12.079 --> 00:06:18.560
You're so looking. Everybody talks about it. So, okay, what
130
00:06:18.600 --> 00:06:20.759
do you do, Well, how do we kill it? Bail fire?
131
00:06:20.800 --> 00:06:22.360
Can you bail fire it? Can you bail fire it?
132
00:06:22.399 --> 00:06:22.879
Bail fire?
133
00:06:23.480 --> 00:06:25.439
Oh, that's the one power, so you can't bail fire it.
134
00:06:25.480 --> 00:06:28.879
That sucks. Cannons? Can you canon it?
135
00:06:29.120 --> 00:06:30.839
You could cut it up into pieces, but I think
136
00:06:30.839 --> 00:06:31.800
the pieces would just.
137
00:06:32.560 --> 00:06:38.720
Merge back together. One does style? Could you? Because I
138
00:06:38.720 --> 00:06:40.319
feel like they got to come up with a way.
139
00:06:40.800 --> 00:06:43.079
Well, what is the only thing that is ever harmed? One?
140
00:06:43.639 --> 00:06:45.279
I can't remember.
141
00:06:45.319 --> 00:06:49.439
There is one object Matt luckily has. Oh is it
142
00:06:49.480 --> 00:06:53.120
the fox head Foxhead medallion? Remind me what the Foxhead
143
00:06:53.160 --> 00:06:54.000
medallion does?
144
00:06:54.079 --> 00:06:58.759
By the way, it makes you not able to be
145
00:06:58.920 --> 00:06:59.759
touched by the One Power.
146
00:06:59.800 --> 00:07:00.519
That's the same way.
147
00:07:03.920 --> 00:07:06.480
So it kind of turns Matt into like a Goalam
148
00:07:06.600 --> 00:07:07.279
a little bit.
149
00:07:07.360 --> 00:07:09.439
Only in so far as he can't be affected by
150
00:07:09.439 --> 00:07:11.240
the power. Because you remember when they start chucking shit
151
00:07:11.279 --> 00:07:12.959
at the Goalam in this chapter, it does kind of
152
00:07:12.959 --> 00:07:13.600
harken back.
153
00:07:13.480 --> 00:07:16.360
To It's the reason why it can fuck with the
154
00:07:16.519 --> 00:07:19.600
Goalam because like Golam is technically made by the One Power.
155
00:07:20.480 --> 00:07:23.399
They are they are shadow spawn. Yeah, so I mean
156
00:07:23.439 --> 00:07:26.800
they are. This is just some background knowledge. It doesn't matter.
157
00:07:26.839 --> 00:07:29.920
I was looking on the wiki, there have in history
158
00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:31.399
ever been six of them.
159
00:07:31.800 --> 00:07:33.759
Can it be fucked up by the true power?
160
00:07:33.879 --> 00:07:36.040
That's a good question. That true power is not the
161
00:07:36.079 --> 00:07:37.399
one power, right, it's.
162
00:07:37.240 --> 00:07:40.560
A different thing. So can it technically be fucked by that?
163
00:07:40.560 --> 00:07:41.319
That's a good question.
164
00:07:42.160 --> 00:07:44.120
Like are we gonna have to start using the true
165
00:07:44.120 --> 00:07:45.000
power a little bit?
166
00:07:45.240 --> 00:07:49.560
Well, only only one person can do that on Team
167
00:07:49.600 --> 00:07:52.639
Good it's Morden on Team Good.
168
00:07:53.480 --> 00:07:55.360
Oha on Team Good.
169
00:07:55.519 --> 00:07:58.920
Rand. Yeah, however, do you think he's still gonna do
170
00:07:59.040 --> 00:08:02.480
that now? I'm not always had Jesus moments. I wouldn't
171
00:08:02.480 --> 00:08:05.600
fuck with it were me, But after after Dragon.
172
00:08:05.279 --> 00:08:09.680
Mount, I don't think he would do it like Wilson Nilsen,
173
00:08:10.600 --> 00:08:14.399
But I do think that, like what, I just like
174
00:08:14.439 --> 00:08:20.720
the phrase thanks, But I think that he might use
175
00:08:20.759 --> 00:08:24.720
it if like really really necessary because everyone told him
176
00:08:24.839 --> 00:08:28.120
to bail fire shit either and he's like he's been booby.
177
00:08:28.439 --> 00:08:30.800
But again, this was all before Dragon Mount, right, this
178
00:08:30.959 --> 00:08:32.039
is all before Veins of Gold.
179
00:08:32.080 --> 00:08:33.360
Well, I don't know. We haven't spent a lot of
180
00:08:33.399 --> 00:08:34.360
time in that head.
181
00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:36.840
No, we've how much have we seen him since this
182
00:08:36.840 --> 00:08:37.440
book started?
183
00:08:37.519 --> 00:08:40.120
Not a ton like we saw him with the Apple thing? Yeah,
184
00:08:40.159 --> 00:08:42.200
and I feel like that's like kind of it so far.
185
00:08:42.399 --> 00:08:44.639
He had a meeting with the gwayn oh.
186
00:08:44.519 --> 00:08:46.919
Right where he was like, he was like, all right,
187
00:08:47.720 --> 00:08:52.200
I'm gonna go we're all gonna go break the seal. Cool, cool,
188
00:08:52.320 --> 00:08:53.639
you have one hour?
189
00:08:53.879 --> 00:08:56.279
But was it? Was it the ultimatumy old style rand
190
00:08:56.399 --> 00:08:57.559
or No?
191
00:08:57.639 --> 00:09:00.840
He was like pretty chill about it. He was hilariously
192
00:09:00.919 --> 00:09:03.120
chill about it. Honestly. He was like, I know, I
193
00:09:03.159 --> 00:09:04.759
know you're gonna have an issue. I know I probably
194
00:09:04.759 --> 00:09:06.200
should have talked to you about this sooner, but this
195
00:09:06.279 --> 00:09:08.720
is what we're gonna do. Okay, Okay, all right, you got,
196
00:09:08.919 --> 00:09:10.960
you know, twenty four hours to respond.
197
00:09:11.000 --> 00:09:11.840
I think it's like a month.
198
00:09:12.320 --> 00:09:14.919
No, I don't. I'm just being silly.
199
00:09:15.039 --> 00:09:16.840
My other the other thing I really like not to
200
00:09:16.879 --> 00:09:18.440
talk about other chapters. But the other thing I really
201
00:09:18.480 --> 00:09:20.399
like about that is at the end he's like, Okay,
202
00:09:21.679 --> 00:09:24.440
I'm gonna leave now, got it? And they just kind
203
00:09:24.440 --> 00:09:26.519
of look at each other. Do you remember this?
204
00:09:26.600 --> 00:09:27.879
Yeah, he's like don't.
205
00:09:28.080 --> 00:09:30.320
He's like, I do with it. Don't try to make
206
00:09:30.360 --> 00:09:33.159
me stay because if you do that, I'm.
207
00:09:33.320 --> 00:09:35.559
Really annoying and I'm gonna have to use force.
208
00:09:35.679 --> 00:09:38.840
I am going to have to I'm letting you permit
209
00:09:38.879 --> 00:09:40.960
me to leave. I'm giving you permission to tell me
210
00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:41.559
I can go.
211
00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:44.919
Yeah, because I believe it is going to be annoying.
212
00:09:45.120 --> 00:09:48.440
But if you don't let me, I will. Anyway, I
213
00:09:48.480 --> 00:09:49.279
had this whole thing.
214
00:09:49.440 --> 00:09:51.960
I was telling you about this on the walk. I
215
00:09:52.000 --> 00:09:55.000
saw this thing the other day where it was like
216
00:09:55.360 --> 00:10:00.000
having childhood trauma is crazy because when you have to
217
00:10:00.240 --> 00:10:03.759
the drama like they were, like, my boyfriend asked me,
218
00:10:03.799 --> 00:10:06.840
what the worst thing could happen is with like confronting
219
00:10:06.879 --> 00:10:10.120
someone about something that at work. Yeah, And they were like,
220
00:10:10.759 --> 00:10:12.960
well that they'll yell at me and not let me leave.
221
00:10:13.679 --> 00:10:15.720
And he was like what that?
222
00:10:16.039 --> 00:10:17.879
When would what kind of a.
223
00:10:19.159 --> 00:10:21.879
Never, Like I'd never thought about that, that that would
224
00:10:21.919 --> 00:10:24.480
be such an unhinged thing for someone to do to
225
00:10:24.519 --> 00:10:28.200
another adult, is like yell at someone and not allow
226
00:10:28.279 --> 00:10:31.559
them to leave the premises. But I was like so
227
00:10:32.679 --> 00:10:36.799
accustomed to that in my head being a problem that
228
00:10:36.879 --> 00:10:39.720
I had never thought, like, one, why do we think
229
00:10:39.759 --> 00:10:43.279
that's okay to do to children? Then like that's crazy
230
00:10:43.480 --> 00:10:45.799
to like trap them in a space and scream at them.
231
00:10:46.159 --> 00:10:50.240
That's crazy. It's not it's not, no, it's not. It's crazy.
232
00:10:50.279 --> 00:10:51.960
That's a crazy thing to do to a human being.
233
00:10:52.039 --> 00:10:53.799
I'm like, we have to start thinking about children, and
234
00:10:53.840 --> 00:10:56.960
it's like human beings. I know that, like obviously if
235
00:10:56.960 --> 00:10:59.080
they do something fucked up or something, you have to
236
00:10:59.120 --> 00:11:03.600
talk to them about it and shit, but like you know,
237
00:11:03.679 --> 00:11:06.200
to a certain extent, that's still like a human person,
238
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:08.799
like do it anyway. So I sat there and I
239
00:11:08.840 --> 00:11:11.240
was like, oh my god, that's true. That would be
240
00:11:11.279 --> 00:11:12.919
like a fucked up thing to do to a person.
241
00:11:13.759 --> 00:11:16.000
So like, and you could sue.
242
00:11:15.639 --> 00:11:18.879
Probably oh probably.
243
00:11:18.720 --> 00:11:20.679
If they like if they didn't let you.
244
00:11:20.720 --> 00:11:24.120
Leave, well that is being your will, that is not.
245
00:11:24.240 --> 00:11:25.799
You could sue.
246
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:28.000
And I was like, wait, so that wouldn't really happen.
247
00:11:28.080 --> 00:11:30.399
That would be a crazy thing to have happened. And
248
00:11:30.440 --> 00:11:33.240
I was like, oh shit, what is the worst thing
249
00:11:33.320 --> 00:11:34.000
that would happen?
250
00:11:34.759 --> 00:11:36.840
Kind of true, Well, you could get fired, I guess.
251
00:11:36.919 --> 00:11:38.679
Well yeah, but like if you were confronting a friend,
252
00:11:39.279 --> 00:11:41.360
like they might not be your friend anymore. But like
253
00:11:42.600 --> 00:11:44.559
I don't know, if you did it in a respectful way,
254
00:11:44.759 --> 00:11:47.159
like odds are things are gonna be fine. So then
255
00:11:47.200 --> 00:11:50.240
I was like, oh shit, what am I so scared of?
256
00:11:51.480 --> 00:11:55.440
Well, listen, Randon Igwayne in that chapter, showing pretty good
257
00:11:55.600 --> 00:12:00.240
conflict related communication skills, like pretty good the golam terrible
258
00:12:01.320 --> 00:12:03.279
communications does not communicate at all.
259
00:12:03.320 --> 00:12:08.200
Here's the thing about shadow Spun. None of these fuckers
260
00:12:08.240 --> 00:12:11.639
have been to fit therapy. None of them have figured
261
00:12:11.639 --> 00:12:12.240
their shit out.
262
00:12:12.320 --> 00:12:13.919
My computer made a bunch of beeps.
263
00:12:14.240 --> 00:12:16.120
Have you ever tried to, like talk to someone who
264
00:12:16.159 --> 00:12:18.679
can't take accountability? It's exhausting.
265
00:12:18.919 --> 00:12:20.919
Uh.
266
00:12:21.080 --> 00:12:22.559
I'm at a point where I'm like, I'm not teaching
267
00:12:22.600 --> 00:12:23.320
another grown adult.
268
00:12:23.360 --> 00:12:24.600
How you apologize?
269
00:12:24.639 --> 00:12:25.480
That's fucking nuts.
270
00:12:25.600 --> 00:12:26.200
That seems fair.
271
00:12:26.240 --> 00:12:31.720
If you can't apologize in your thirties, that's crazy, that's wild.
272
00:12:32.159 --> 00:12:36.840
Best of luck too, Okay, you know what I mean. Yeah,
273
00:12:36.879 --> 00:12:40.519
Like that's fucking crazy. Like you're fully in control of
274
00:12:40.559 --> 00:12:44.000
yourself and your faculties, and yes, of course, like the
275
00:12:44.039 --> 00:12:47.000
shadow exists, and like weird shit happens, but like then
276
00:12:47.039 --> 00:12:49.200
you own that shit. You don't just go like that
277
00:12:49.279 --> 00:12:54.039
didn't happen. I don't remember it that way. Oh bullshit, bullshit.
278
00:12:54.120 --> 00:12:55.840
I've gas lit people before when I was like a
279
00:12:55.840 --> 00:12:58.080
teenager and didn't know any better, and I knew exactly
280
00:12:58.080 --> 00:12:59.000
what fucking happened.
281
00:13:00.080 --> 00:13:02.000
Well, about the golamb.
282
00:13:02.879 --> 00:13:05.200
So he's gas like gay, keep girl bossing his way
283
00:13:05.200 --> 00:13:10.440
through camp. He is wait, yeah, he is slaying, sickening,
284
00:13:10.720 --> 00:13:12.200
and serving his way through camp.
285
00:13:12.240 --> 00:13:15.440
The golamb is okay, I've designed.
286
00:13:15.120 --> 00:13:21.919
That the golamb is gay. All right, sure, all right,
287
00:13:22.759 --> 00:13:24.480
you're on her. Mad resented the court.
288
00:13:25.799 --> 00:13:27.840
Gay. This will be fun.
289
00:13:28.240 --> 00:13:30.679
Going this hard for another man.
290
00:13:33.200 --> 00:13:36.679
Well, he was notably ordered to pursue nine, even Agwayne,
291
00:13:36.759 --> 00:13:38.600
not note, even Elaine.
292
00:13:38.159 --> 00:13:42.000
But he lost interest. Went after Matt. Fuck it, bucket,
293
00:13:42.120 --> 00:13:46.720
I'm after Matt. I'm going after Matt. Killed his situationship,
294
00:13:47.399 --> 00:13:54.159
who was abusive, very dramatic entrances and exits.
295
00:13:54.720 --> 00:13:56.200
Yeah.
296
00:13:56.360 --> 00:13:59.159
Now I feel like I'm stereotyping, but I as a
297
00:13:59.159 --> 00:14:02.759
part of the elegil.
298
00:14:01.279 --> 00:14:02.480
So I suppose you're allowed.
299
00:14:02.919 --> 00:14:09.559
I feel personally that the golom is serving all right.
300
00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:13.559
It's kind of like how Jesus also displayed kind of
301
00:14:13.759 --> 00:14:17.759
iconically queer behavior because think about it, he gathered all
302
00:14:17.759 --> 00:14:20.720
of his closest friends together. I saw this. This is
303
00:14:20.759 --> 00:14:22.600
not from me as an original, but I thought it
304
00:14:22.639 --> 00:14:24.919
was so brilliant that I have to share. He gathered
305
00:14:24.960 --> 00:14:28.320
all of his closest friends for a intimate dinner and
306
00:14:28.360 --> 00:14:32.120
then said one of you has betrayed me, okay, and
307
00:14:32.120 --> 00:14:35.399
then let them figure out who it was. Okay, okay,
308
00:14:35.600 --> 00:14:43.159
I mean that's queer. Yeah, yeah, all of his closest
309
00:14:43.159 --> 00:14:43.799
guy friends.
310
00:14:44.720 --> 00:14:45.399
I'll take it.
311
00:14:45.840 --> 00:14:52.600
I'm sorry, but let's be real. Iconic behavior. Really, one
312
00:14:52.639 --> 00:14:54.399
of you has betrayed me.
313
00:14:55.279 --> 00:14:57.279
Well, now I'm just picturing RuPaul saying.
314
00:14:57.080 --> 00:15:03.120
That exactly, exactly exactly. It's iconic. Think about it.
315
00:15:04.279 --> 00:15:07.159
How did we get here? I don't know, you said them.
316
00:15:07.240 --> 00:15:08.720
Ahd, And that's where we're at.
317
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:10.720
Okay, So the Goalamb.
318
00:15:10.720 --> 00:15:12.879
So okay, the Golamb can only.
319
00:15:12.639 --> 00:15:15.320
Be hurt by the medallion so far that we know.
320
00:15:15.279 --> 00:15:22.279
Of, which is convenient considering it's chasing the guy medallion.
321
00:15:22.480 --> 00:15:25.200
So maybe he's just bored of getting to kill people
322
00:15:25.240 --> 00:15:28.919
without a lot of resistance, and he's like, I want
323
00:15:28.919 --> 00:15:29.799
to challenge.
324
00:15:30.279 --> 00:15:32.039
Could be you know, do.
325
00:15:32.000 --> 00:15:33.720
You remember I could get boring after a while.
326
00:15:33.720 --> 00:15:38.200
Do you remember who originally found the Golamb? Almost definitely, well,
327
00:15:38.240 --> 00:15:40.799
I'm sure it was Baltha Melaragna ragon Or is the
328
00:15:40.799 --> 00:15:45.799
one whom Yeah, they don't live forever. So this one
329
00:15:45.840 --> 00:15:46.600
was in a station.
330
00:15:46.639 --> 00:15:47.399
Wasn't it in a box?
331
00:15:47.480 --> 00:15:48.000
Yeah?
332
00:15:48.080 --> 00:15:48.840
It was in a box.
333
00:15:49.200 --> 00:15:52.399
Do you remember who found it? Probably hilarious when you
334
00:15:52.440 --> 00:15:57.039
consider who, no, the funniest person possible found it? Who
335
00:15:57.120 --> 00:15:59.639
is the funny? Who is the funniest forsaken?
336
00:16:00.159 --> 00:16:05.559
Oh Baylaw No Samio, that's the one that's that's funny.
337
00:16:05.679 --> 00:16:09.000
And miss Samuel, Yes, I miss Samiel.
338
00:16:08.559 --> 00:16:11.879
Everything, Yes, because we're left with like less and less
339
00:16:11.879 --> 00:16:16.360
funny for his saken, Like Massana is not funny? Is
340
00:16:16.399 --> 00:16:19.919
Samiel Massona's only funny because I'm insisting that she's donel.
341
00:16:20.159 --> 00:16:23.120
No, Samuele's not gay. Samuel's tragically heterosexual.
342
00:16:23.279 --> 00:16:26.120
Samuel's deeply heterosexual.
343
00:16:25.360 --> 00:16:27.799
Tragically but like I can say that, but.
344
00:16:27.879 --> 00:16:32.360
Like insecure, Like an insecure straight man is the worst.
345
00:16:32.200 --> 00:16:35.039
Because he's six', four but he makes himself look like.
346
00:16:34.960 --> 00:16:38.240
He said six and he's like constantly talking about how
347
00:16:38.279 --> 00:16:40.759
he could have gone pro if he hadn't gotten injured in.
348
00:16:40.759 --> 00:16:41.600
College well he was a.
349
00:16:41.679 --> 00:16:45.240
QUARTERBACK i, know, yeah believe, Me i'm. Aware this man
350
00:16:45.320 --> 00:16:48.720
is deeply insecure and makes it everyone else's.
351
00:16:48.720 --> 00:16:53.000
PROBLEM i fucking Love, Samiel, dude he was so my. Favorite.
352
00:16:53.000 --> 00:16:57.440
Forsaken massana is just an embittered, academic as Is sammarag
353
00:16:58.720 --> 00:17:04.079
has a torture. Problem, okay let's go. Through which of
354
00:17:04.119 --> 00:17:04.839
the forsaken is?
355
00:17:04.920 --> 00:17:12.759
Queer SAMAROG i just feel, okay It's vibeson if she
356
00:17:12.799 --> 00:17:17.200
wanted to turn, her no, doubt she's deeply, queer, deeply,
357
00:17:17.319 --> 00:17:18.160
deeply deeply.
358
00:17:18.279 --> 00:17:22.319
Queer let's, See, Okay i've got to start from the.
359
00:17:22.319 --> 00:17:24.440
Beginning Damon dread, Bye.
360
00:17:24.680 --> 00:17:28.200
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Absolutely morden.
361
00:17:28.440 --> 00:17:33.759
Bye as, Well, yes yes, too, yes by Man.
362
00:17:33.839 --> 00:17:39.119
VIBES i Think mordan's a. SEXUAL i think he's as biolistic.
363
00:17:39.160 --> 00:17:41.160
ASEXUAL i see that as.
364
00:17:41.160 --> 00:17:43.559
Well that could. Work but in the, show.
365
00:17:44.200 --> 00:17:48.519
Oh, Bisile, yeah every everybody in the show was bias, fuck.
366
00:17:48.839 --> 00:17:50.319
Which is what made the show so.
367
00:17:50.440 --> 00:17:55.440
Good everybody was just, unrepentedly a little, horned still. Pissed
368
00:17:56.119 --> 00:17:58.400
i'm never not Gonna i'm never not gonna be pissed about.
369
00:17:58.440 --> 00:18:01.920
That but anyway that by, that it's over. Him, yeah it's,
370
00:18:01.960 --> 00:18:07.880
fine it's not, fine but, yeah, Okay so who else is?
371
00:18:07.920 --> 00:18:12.759
There agon or in balthamel agon or deeply? Straight, yeah
372
00:18:12.839 --> 00:18:19.960
deeply straight in a way WHERE i wouldn't like? Him
373
00:18:20.400 --> 00:18:20.880
does that make?
374
00:18:20.960 --> 00:18:21.200
Sense?
375
00:18:21.880 --> 00:18:24.160
Yeah, LIKE i don't have a problem with straight, people
376
00:18:24.960 --> 00:18:26.279
but some of them really rub it in my.
377
00:18:26.319 --> 00:18:31.519
FACE i understand it's a ridiculous way to put.
378
00:18:31.519 --> 00:18:33.680
That they really rub their.
379
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:38.680
LIFESTYLE i appreciate your your u reclaiming of.
380
00:18:38.720 --> 00:18:41.279
That you just don't have to be so obvious about.
381
00:18:41.319 --> 00:18:43.519
IT i don't want to see.
382
00:18:43.559 --> 00:18:44.799
It we get. It you're.
383
00:18:44.839 --> 00:18:51.920
Straight balthamel Is balthall discovered some.
384
00:18:52.039 --> 00:18:57.160
Things, Yeah balthamel's pan, sexual but like not in a good.
385
00:18:57.160 --> 00:19:03.079
Way like, listen just because someone is pan doesn't make
386
00:19:03.119 --> 00:19:05.519
them a good. Person like this is the thing we
387
00:19:05.599 --> 00:19:09.119
forget is you can be a minority and an oppressed
388
00:19:09.160 --> 00:19:12.079
class and still suck as a human. Being two things
389
00:19:12.079 --> 00:19:15.440
can be true at the same. Time Like i've known
390
00:19:15.559 --> 00:19:18.799
some wonderful people from all walks of. LIFE i also
391
00:19:18.839 --> 00:19:21.319
have known some really shitty people from all walks of,
392
00:19:21.359 --> 00:19:24.920
life you know WHAT i. Mean, like here's the, thing
393
00:19:26.160 --> 00:19:31.200
the real, dream right is that we can dislike someone
394
00:19:31.240 --> 00:19:32.559
and it has nothing to do with their.
395
00:19:32.599 --> 00:19:34.039
Identity that's, true.
396
00:19:33.799 --> 00:19:38.200
You know WHAT i. Mean we're, like you suck with your.
397
00:19:38.240 --> 00:19:41.960
PERSONALITY i have no problem with any of the ways
398
00:19:41.960 --> 00:19:47.400
that you live other than that you are shitty in
399
00:19:47.440 --> 00:19:53.759
a personality. Way and that's when we'll really get to true. Freedom,
400
00:19:54.000 --> 00:20:00.920
Okay So, okay who else is? There Land fear queer for?
401
00:20:01.000 --> 00:20:02.160
Sure bye, okay.
402
00:20:02.000 --> 00:20:09.319
Yeah bye yeah bye yeah bye girl Grendel by yeah
403
00:20:09.720 --> 00:20:17.160
yeah or pan Pan chant yeah yeah.
404
00:20:18.039 --> 00:20:21.000
Mcgetti and we said was queer?
405
00:20:21.720 --> 00:20:28.119
Lesbian, yeah, SNA i don't. KNOW i Think missana is.
406
00:20:28.359 --> 00:20:33.400
Heterosexual, no none of, no none of the forsaken women
407
00:20:33.440 --> 00:20:36.599
as A i was like.
408
00:20:36.640 --> 00:20:39.279
Thinking like lesbian academic that.
409
00:20:39.319 --> 00:20:44.279
Could, work you, know, yeah like, yeah, okay.
410
00:20:44.759 --> 00:20:50.079
Summarog h semmarrog is not capable of like, intimacy, no
411
00:20:50.720 --> 00:20:52.559
like is there a word For it's like the opposite
412
00:20:52.599 --> 00:20:58.319
of a. Demisexual it's like a romantic well, maybe but
413
00:20:58.400 --> 00:21:01.960
like now if you, uninformed, yeah we're straying beyond the
414
00:21:02.880 --> 00:21:07.279
because like obviously a dominatrix thing obviously has like a sadistic,
415
00:21:07.319 --> 00:21:08.319
streak but that's not.
416
00:21:08.200 --> 00:21:12.960
Like, no and not in clearly not a healthy way with.
417
00:21:12.920 --> 00:21:17.279
Her well, no not even a little. Bit there's no consent. Involved,
418
00:21:17.319 --> 00:21:21.039
no it's so but like So i'm like they're not
419
00:21:21.240 --> 00:21:23.440
asex BECAUSE i think they're getting some kind of like
420
00:21:24.000 --> 00:21:30.000
pleasure from. It the. Sadism, yeah but that's not NECESSARILY. Lgbtq,
421
00:21:30.079 --> 00:21:38.000
plus that's just like being kind of terrible, yeah being
422
00:21:38.039 --> 00:21:43.839
more than kind of. TERRIBLE i feel like it's like
423
00:21:44.759 --> 00:21:49.119
just baguely. Sinister, Yeah like she's just kind of there to.
424
00:21:49.319 --> 00:21:53.000
Dominate she doesn't really give a shit what what gender
425
00:21:54.039 --> 00:21:57.319
or like what spectrum you're. On she's just kind of
426
00:21:57.359 --> 00:21:57.799
there for the.
427
00:21:57.839 --> 00:22:00.359
TORTURE i, understand you know WHAT i.
428
00:22:00.359 --> 00:22:02.240
MEAN i don't know what that would be classified as
429
00:22:02.240 --> 00:22:05.640
probably a, plus probably some kind of.
430
00:22:05.640 --> 00:22:07.559
Plus, YEAH i think so.
431
00:22:08.039 --> 00:22:10.079
Some kind of in the plus.
432
00:22:10.119 --> 00:22:14.880
Category ye who are we? Forget There's BAILAL i think he's. Straight,
433
00:22:15.680 --> 00:22:16.480
NO i don't.
434
00:22:16.519 --> 00:22:21.440
KNOW i don't. Know baila's, gay is actually? Gay bailo's,
435
00:22:21.440 --> 00:22:28.960
Gay and like in a way where it's, like, yeah
436
00:22:29.039 --> 00:22:32.039
there's just too much, showmanship you.
437
00:22:32.079 --> 00:22:33.200
Know that's WHAT i was.
438
00:22:33.200 --> 00:22:36.000
Saying there's too much showmanship and not enough follow. Through
439
00:22:36.119 --> 00:22:39.000
it's like the problem that the drag community is seeing
440
00:22:39.000 --> 00:22:42.480
where it's like there's like really good drag queens and
441
00:22:42.519 --> 00:22:44.200
then there are people that are LIKE i just kind
442
00:22:44.200 --> 00:22:45.880
of want to get On RuPaul's drag race and be.
443
00:22:45.920 --> 00:22:50.319
Famous yeah, yeah and it's like that he's he's that. Gay,
444
00:22:50.480 --> 00:22:52.519
yeah he's LIKE i want to get On RuPaul's drag
445
00:22:52.599 --> 00:22:54.359
race and be. Famous BUT i don't actually have the
446
00:22:54.519 --> 00:22:57.839
like the like reps to back it. Up So i'm
447
00:22:57.880 --> 00:23:00.319
going to be like an early boot From RuPaul's Drag.
448
00:23:00.400 --> 00:23:05.279
Race i'm cannon fodder And RuPaul's Drag. Race AM i? Wrong,
449
00:23:06.160 --> 00:23:10.240
No i'm completely right about. That they're LIKE i want
450
00:23:10.240 --> 00:23:12.720
a fast track to becoming. Famous SO i GUESS i
451
00:23:12.759 --> 00:23:15.319
will like become a drag queen for a while and
452
00:23:15.359 --> 00:23:21.680
be good looking enough as a girl that and like
453
00:23:21.799 --> 00:23:25.559
maybe be like a like lip, sync like learn a
454
00:23:25.599 --> 00:23:28.920
death drop or, two and Then i'll be, Like I'm
455
00:23:29.039 --> 00:23:31.839
i'm ready For, RuPaul and it's like you're not ready Room,
456
00:23:31.880 --> 00:23:36.599
ball because then Fucking sasha is going to show up
457
00:23:36.640 --> 00:23:40.079
and wipe the absolute floor with every single person that
458
00:23:40.200 --> 00:23:48.200
was there except for Fuck. Anitra Yeah, Anitra, anitra did
459
00:23:48.240 --> 00:23:55.079
we forget? Anybody? Uh blthamelagon or. See this is why
460
00:23:55.160 --> 00:23:58.200
our podcasts are really, long BECAUSE i GET i get
461
00:23:58.279 --> 00:24:00.319
stuck on like a fucking tangent.
462
00:24:00.519 --> 00:24:05.720
Uh baylaw miss uh you Know i've fucking named the forsaken.
463
00:24:05.799 --> 00:24:12.039
Ass oh It's. Modian oh gay, yay.
464
00:24:10.440 --> 00:24:15.279
The gayest, one the gayest, one the artie boy. Gay i'm,
465
00:24:15.319 --> 00:24:19.200
sorry and like you can absolutely be an. Artist Like
466
00:24:19.640 --> 00:24:23.640
i've heard plenty of straight men Play, wonderwall believe, me
467
00:24:24.960 --> 00:24:30.920
but like this. One, No i'm sorry that that is
468
00:24:31.039 --> 00:24:37.319
not a. Heterosexual, no, no at most a. Bisexual but
469
00:24:37.599 --> 00:24:39.119
Like i'm getting.
470
00:24:39.119 --> 00:24:40.799
Gay, well this has been.
471
00:24:40.880 --> 00:24:43.599
Enlightning you, know it's fun in a not fun? Way
472
00:24:45.839 --> 00:24:49.079
is that a lot Of disney, villains like Early disney,
473
00:24:49.119 --> 00:24:50.880
villains like part of the reason why they're so like,
474
00:24:51.559 --> 00:24:55.319
that like so like you kind of like dig them
475
00:24:55.359 --> 00:24:58.119
more than anyone else in the movies is because they're
476
00:24:58.160 --> 00:25:01.279
all based on like queer archetypes.
477
00:25:01.559 --> 00:25:03.079
We're talking, about Like, Jaffar.
478
00:25:03.440 --> 00:25:08.359
Yes, yes, Yeah ursula was based off of a famous drag.
479
00:25:08.440 --> 00:25:09.599
Queen oh that's.
480
00:25:09.640 --> 00:25:11.160
True, no they're all.
481
00:25:11.240 --> 00:25:14.400
Yesified oh that's really. True of tell me that they're
482
00:25:14.400 --> 00:25:18.359
not all, yesified like the guy the one with friends
483
00:25:18.400 --> 00:25:21.000
on the other side From princess and The, frog.
484
00:25:20.880 --> 00:25:25.880
Or like, Okay, gaston oh, gus.
485
00:25:25.799 --> 00:25:31.160
Come, on that man is. Gay they're. Gay they're all.
486
00:25:31.240 --> 00:25:34.319
Gay that's why they're so. Yesified that's why they're. Awesome
487
00:25:34.759 --> 00:25:37.160
that's why everybody's, like, okay a low key vibe with. Them.
488
00:25:37.200 --> 00:25:38.079
Though that's, true that's.
489
00:25:38.119 --> 00:25:41.640
True, yeah not only Was jafar gay the parrot was also.
490
00:25:41.799 --> 00:25:46.599
Gay iago. Gay they're all. Gay, NO i swear To
491
00:25:46.640 --> 00:25:52.839
god because Lesbian, like tell, me give me one example
492
00:25:53.400 --> 00:25:56.240
of a Fucking disney, villain because that was a way
493
00:25:56.319 --> 00:25:59.480
to get queer representation in and like give the like
494
00:26:00.119 --> 00:26:02.200
feedback to kids that it wasn't okay to be that.
495
00:26:02.279 --> 00:26:04.880
Way but then also you were, like but they're kind
496
00:26:04.880 --> 00:26:06.880
of fabulous, though they're kind of giving their kind of.
497
00:26:06.880 --> 00:26:08.799
Serving well that tapered off.
498
00:26:08.799 --> 00:26:12.039
Eventually well, yeah because ever they got called out on it,
499
00:26:12.079 --> 00:26:15.519
eventually where everybody's, like, hey that's like not, great but.
500
00:26:15.519 --> 00:26:18.640
Yeah, yeah hold, On i'm trying to think of modern
501
00:26:18.880 --> 00:26:23.240
contempor more contemper they're all Gay disney. Movies they're all in.
502
00:26:23.200 --> 00:26:25.319
The eligibility Community disney.
503
00:26:25.359 --> 00:26:29.480
Feelins oh, god, yeah Oh isma.
504
00:26:30.079 --> 00:26:32.160
Okay but Also Kronk kronk.
505
00:26:32.799 --> 00:26:38.960
Gay you, Know kronk is Canonically. Jewish no, WAY i
506
00:26:39.000 --> 00:26:40.400

00:29:16.880 --> 00:29:19.519
Back we're here to actually talk about the golamb and
554
00:29:19.559 --> 00:29:20.480
the fighting, now.
555
00:29:20.480 --> 00:29:22.559
And i'm, saying we're still at the. Age why did
556
00:29:22.599 --> 00:29:23.480
you B tq plus.
557
00:29:23.519 --> 00:29:26.240
Community matt throws himself At they, fight they, fight they,
558
00:29:26.279 --> 00:29:29.559
fight they, fight they. Fight it's got a. Dagger it
559
00:29:29.640 --> 00:29:32.200
has killed. Somebody who Is matt worried that it is? Killed?
560
00:29:32.839 --> 00:29:37.279
Uh oh, Over oliver didn't kill Olver, No, no.
561
00:29:37.359 --> 00:29:39.640
But we should probably keep an eye on, Him, yeah
562
00:29:39.680 --> 00:29:41.799
because he wants to kill anyone close To matt and
563
00:29:41.839 --> 00:29:44.920
that boy is playing games with him all the.
564
00:29:44.920 --> 00:29:48.720
Time teslin actually kind of saves the day. Here teslin
565
00:29:48.799 --> 00:29:51.920
does save the. Day teslin comes in clutch and she
566
00:29:52.000 --> 00:29:55.599
just starts fucking hucking furniture at the. Golamb she should
567
00:29:55.880 --> 00:29:56.599
very very well.
568
00:29:56.640 --> 00:29:59.839
Handled, Uh and he's, like, ah, Shit i've been.
569
00:30:00.640 --> 00:30:07.000
And then the golomb runs. Off, notably he does actually
570
00:30:07.079 --> 00:30:11.359
meant talks to. It he clips it with the medallion
571
00:30:11.759 --> 00:30:13.319
and he, goes you didn't have to kill, her burn.
572
00:30:13.400 --> 00:30:15.480
You you could have left. Her you didn't want, her
573
00:30:15.680 --> 00:30:16.079
you wanted.
574
00:30:16.160 --> 00:30:19.039
Me the thing merely grinned its mouth and an awful
575
00:30:19.200 --> 00:30:23.720
black teeth. TWISTED a bird must, fly a man must.
576
00:30:23.759 --> 00:30:27.759
BREATHE i must kill. It stalked. Forward, Yes i've been
577
00:30:27.799 --> 00:30:30.759
told to kill them all to bring you. Out the
578
00:30:30.839 --> 00:30:33.359
man with the, mustache the aged one who interfered last,
579
00:30:33.359 --> 00:30:36.279
time the little dark skinned woman who holds your, affection
580
00:30:36.880 --> 00:30:39.200
all of. Them, okay UNLESS i take you.
581
00:30:39.319 --> 00:30:43.119
Now calling her the little dark skinned woman feels. Problematic it.
582
00:30:43.200 --> 00:30:44.720
Is it is a questionable decision on the.
583
00:30:44.720 --> 00:30:46.839
Goal, oh we don't say that.
584
00:30:46.920 --> 00:30:50.759
Anymore Grandpa tesla saves the, day and The golomb is, like,
585
00:30:50.839 --> 00:30:53.079
Well i've been. Discovered now time for me to fuck.
586
00:30:53.160 --> 00:30:55.920
Off and then Gord run And fergin go it's our
587
00:30:56.000 --> 00:30:58.319
time to shine and they level their pikes at. It
588
00:30:58.359 --> 00:30:58.920
how does that?
589
00:30:59.000 --> 00:31:03.640
Go golamb being simultaneously gay and a boomer.
590
00:31:05.559 --> 00:31:10.880
Crazy work not, uncommon not a, comment not uncommon, combination.
591
00:31:10.559 --> 00:31:12.880
Well unfortunately less common than it should.
592
00:31:12.880 --> 00:31:15.960
Be that's a good. Point so The golomb does what
593
00:31:16.720 --> 00:31:17.319
to these poor?
594
00:31:17.359 --> 00:31:22.160
Guys Fucking reagan, Anyway golamb Does, Yeah golomb does what
595
00:31:22.240 --> 00:31:23.200
to these poor? Guys?
596
00:31:23.440 --> 00:31:26.720
Umm what's with? Everybody how kills?
597
00:31:26.759 --> 00:31:27.720
Them eating?
598
00:31:27.839 --> 00:31:30.119
Them just rips their throats out on the way. BY i,
599
00:31:30.119 --> 00:31:32.359
mean that's just like a drive by trachy.
600
00:31:32.400 --> 00:31:35.759
Ectomy she is, unnecessary but he had to have a
601
00:31:35.839 --> 00:31:41.079
dramatic exit because, again, okay, Uh lopin's.
602
00:31:41.160 --> 00:31:44.720
Dead very. Sad that sentence would hit very differently in
603
00:31:44.759 --> 00:31:47.400
The Stormlight, archive but in this Book lopen's, dead we're
604
00:31:47.400 --> 00:31:48.480
all kind of sad About.
605
00:31:50.000 --> 00:31:50.319
He's.
606
00:31:50.400 --> 00:31:52.880
Sad he just got over in The leasian being. Dead
607
00:31:52.960 --> 00:31:55.039
now he's, dead and a bunch of Red arms And
608
00:31:55.079 --> 00:31:56.599
mad is, like well this.
609
00:31:56.759 --> 00:32:01.039
Sucks so you should never get over. Anything Finds, Uh
610
00:32:01.079 --> 00:32:03.599
oliver feel? Content Where's?
611
00:32:03.599 --> 00:32:03.839
Oliver?
612
00:32:04.720 --> 00:32:07.599
Uh he was hanging out with. Them totally Not Jane.
613
00:32:07.640 --> 00:32:11.640
Farster totally Not Jane, Farrestrider Noel charon doing what? Plan
614
00:32:11.799 --> 00:32:14.279
snakes and foxes and snakes and. Foxes, okay this.
615
00:32:14.720 --> 00:32:19.119
Game is a. Clue this game is a. Clue they
616
00:32:19.240 --> 00:32:21.599
Cannot and he said the only way to win is to.
617
00:32:21.680 --> 00:32:25.920
Cheat they're gonna. Cheat, Matt, yes. CHEAT i feel like
618
00:32:25.920 --> 00:32:29.880
they're gonna they gotta figure, out like like a way to.
619
00:32:29.960 --> 00:32:34.000
Cheat matt. Cheat they gotta cheat Some matt ever cheated
620
00:32:34.039 --> 00:32:34.640
anything in his.
621
00:32:34.680 --> 00:32:37.200
Life, well BECAUSE i feel like they gotta that's a,
622
00:32:37.279 --> 00:32:39.559
Joke well because because what was? It he said, that
623
00:32:39.640 --> 00:32:42.400
like they have to start in different. Places didn't he
624
00:32:42.599 --> 00:32:43.000
something like.
625
00:32:43.039 --> 00:32:45.799
That, no you start at the, outside you go to the,
626
00:32:45.839 --> 00:32:47.759
middle and then you have to get back out or
627
00:32:48.359 --> 00:32:51.039
find a way in the into the. Middle you start
628
00:32:51.039 --> 00:32:52.640
on the, outside you go to the, middle you have
629
00:32:52.680 --> 00:32:53.200
to get back.
630
00:32:53.200 --> 00:32:57.519
Out, yeah but if you start on the, outside then you're,
631
00:32:57.559 --> 00:33:00.119
behind then you can't. Win but if you start in
632
00:33:00.119 --> 00:33:02.400
the middle and you just have to get to the, outside.
633
00:33:01.960 --> 00:33:03.799
You start at the, outside you have to get to the,
634
00:33:03.799 --> 00:33:04.880
middle you have to get back.
635
00:33:04.880 --> 00:33:06.599
Out, okay why are you repeating that?
636
00:33:06.640 --> 00:33:07.480
Over, no that's the.
637
00:33:07.559 --> 00:33:10.000
Rule, yeah but he said the only way to win
638
00:33:10.079 --> 00:33:12.680
is to. Cheat, yeah so how do you? CHEAT i don't,
639
00:33:12.680 --> 00:33:14.240
Know go.
640
00:33:14.160 --> 00:33:17.400
To the, Middle start in the. Middle what's the? Board
641
00:33:17.440 --> 00:33:18.559
look like a?
642
00:33:18.599 --> 00:33:19.079
Spiral?
643
00:33:19.680 --> 00:33:22.960
Yeah, okay look at the top down it's the. Circle.
644
00:33:23.240 --> 00:33:26.440
Yeah what's the circle across section? Of? What what is
645
00:33:26.480 --> 00:33:28.000
a circle across section of.
646
00:33:28.039 --> 00:33:28.799
What you mean a cross?
647
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:30.759
Section if you lay a bunch of circles on top
648
00:33:30.839 --> 00:33:34.279
of each, other what does it make a? Tower? Yeah,
649
00:33:34.519 --> 00:33:36.720
yeah how do you start in the middle of?
650
00:33:36.759 --> 00:33:38.000
It sit in the middle of a?
651
00:33:38.039 --> 00:33:39.799
Tower how can you start in the middle of a
652
00:33:39.839 --> 00:33:40.519
tower very?
653
00:33:40.559 --> 00:33:46.119
Carefully, WELL i mean we have teleportation on the. Table.
654
00:33:47.119 --> 00:33:50.920
Yeah Does finland follow the rules of? Physics, no which
655
00:33:50.960 --> 00:33:52.119
is why cheating is even more.
656
00:33:52.200 --> 00:33:55.759
Possible. Eah so you just got to figure out an alternative,
657
00:33:56.319 --> 00:33:58.039
way because like if WE i feel, like if we
658
00:33:58.079 --> 00:34:00.599
start at the twisted, doorways, right that's the, Side, like
659
00:34:00.599 --> 00:34:04.440
that's the, entrance, right and you go straight into the.
660
00:34:04.480 --> 00:34:05.920
Foyer they know you're.
661
00:34:05.960 --> 00:34:12.480
There, yeah the twisted doorway. Here, okay so this isn't a,
662
00:34:12.519 --> 00:34:17.119
Spoiler this is just lower. Background going through the doorways
663
00:34:17.360 --> 00:34:22.320
means you are bound by the rules of no, fire no,
664
00:34:22.440 --> 00:34:22.920
iron no.
665
00:34:23.079 --> 00:34:26.039
Music, Right, well so you got to bring Those.
666
00:34:26.480 --> 00:34:29.679
Well, No i'm, saying going through the doorway you are
667
00:34:29.719 --> 00:34:34.960
protected from the fin they can't just kill, you but
668
00:34:35.480 --> 00:34:38.119
you also have to follow those. Rules if you go
669
00:34:38.199 --> 00:34:40.440
in Through, genji all bets are.
670
00:34:40.480 --> 00:34:43.039
Off is? That so how do you go in Through?
671
00:34:43.079 --> 00:34:46.480
Genji that's a great. Question that's their, plan isn't? That
672
00:34:46.519 --> 00:34:50.119
the cheating is to go Innswer. GENJI i don't think
673
00:34:50.119 --> 00:34:51.599
this is a problem for. Me if you go Answer,
674
00:34:51.679 --> 00:34:53.199
genji they can just fuck you.
675
00:34:53.320 --> 00:34:56.039
Up, well, yeah they've worn human, skins Like i'm sure
676
00:34:56.079 --> 00:34:58.119
at some point they've gotten to fuck people up for.
677
00:34:58.199 --> 00:35:01.280
Funzies, yeah they are allowed to do that if you
678
00:35:01.320 --> 00:35:01.719
go in Through.
679
00:35:01.719 --> 00:35:05.320
Genji, okay but then are you allowed to bring in you,
680
00:35:05.360 --> 00:35:09.519
know your Own spotify? Playlist? Arguably are you allowed to
681
00:35:09.559 --> 00:35:12.840
bring in you, know your favorite piece of? Jewelry what
682
00:35:12.920 --> 00:35:17.400
was it fire to strengthen some rusty? Nails what is it,
683
00:35:17.480 --> 00:35:21.960
fire iron to, strengthen fire to, blind music to, dazzle
684
00:35:22.119 --> 00:35:27.679
courage to, well courage to, strengthen courage to. Strengthen that's
685
00:35:27.800 --> 00:35:32.079
iron to bind music to, dazzle fire to blind, whoa
686
00:35:32.239 --> 00:35:36.199
look at? Me very good from the annals of my.
687
00:35:36.320 --> 00:35:39.920
Brain very. Good that was crazy from the, center if you,
688
00:35:39.960 --> 00:35:43.920
will H, okay, WHOA i feel like you've got to
689
00:35:43.960 --> 00:35:48.840
cheat your? Way who, no? Whoa? What? Well so then
690
00:35:49.280 --> 00:35:50.719
is going through that way? Cheating?
691
00:35:51.599 --> 00:35:54.360
Maybe? ANYWAY i guess we'll get there when we get. There,
692
00:35:54.559 --> 00:35:57.000
uh he's got the medallion on. Now all the time
693
00:35:57.119 --> 00:35:59.320
he's he gets he gets the. Gang the boys are
694
00:35:59.360 --> 00:36:01.599
back in town as you're back into he gets the gang.
695
00:36:01.599 --> 00:36:04.639
Together he's, Like, tom the creature threatened, you and you
696
00:36:04.679 --> 00:36:07.239
too know it didn't Mention, oliver but it did mention two.
697
00:36:07.280 --> 00:36:09.199
On tom is, like that doesn't make any fucking. Sense
698
00:36:09.239 --> 00:36:11.119
it gives a shit about two. On that's not what he,
699
00:36:11.119 --> 00:36:15.320
Says but that's what you're. SAYING a bunch of guys are.
700
00:36:15.360 --> 00:36:19.199
Dead golam's been snooping around for a few. Days Apparently
701
00:36:19.880 --> 00:36:22.199
matt continues to feel guilty About thailand and it's the whole,
702
00:36:22.199 --> 00:36:25.320
thing and this is what pissed you. Off matt, goes
703
00:36:25.360 --> 00:36:27.840
we're gonna hunt it and we're gonna kill the bloody. Thing,
704
00:36:28.280 --> 00:36:29.800
NOW i won't have this thing chasing us all the
705
00:36:29.800 --> 00:36:32.920
way to The tower Of, genji but cannot be Killed,
706
00:36:33.159 --> 00:36:36.280
matt anything can be. Killed tesla proved that she could
707
00:36:36.280 --> 00:36:37.840
still hurt it using the one power if she was.
708
00:36:37.920 --> 00:36:42.679
Clever we'll have to do something. Similar so they get
709
00:36:42.760 --> 00:36:46.960
ready to go to in the. Meantime But matt's gonna
710
00:36:46.960 --> 00:36:49.800
go and sleep in a different inn every single, night probably,
711
00:36:50.039 --> 00:36:53.280
idea and he's probably gonna have his, bed but he's
712
00:36:53.360 --> 00:36:53.679
do that.
713
00:36:53.800 --> 00:36:55.599
Too definitely a good.
714
00:36:55.639 --> 00:36:57.840
Idea and they're trying to determine what to do With.
715
00:36:57.920 --> 00:36:59.199
Olver do you remember what they?
716
00:36:59.239 --> 00:37:02.400
Are thank you Having Jane fresherder take care of, him
717
00:37:03.480 --> 00:37:04.599
who totally Not Jane.
718
00:37:04.639 --> 00:37:08.519
Freshwader no, Whatever, well they try. To they argue that
719
00:37:08.559 --> 00:37:10.000
they should send him away with the ice to. Die,
720
00:37:10.159 --> 00:37:12.199
yeah but he's, Like i'm, like, no he's gonna sneak
721
00:37:12.239 --> 00:37:13.880
out and come back if that, happens.
722
00:37:13.920 --> 00:37:15.840
TRUE i feel like that's.
723
00:37:15.920 --> 00:37:18.239
True and then they just decide they're just going to
724
00:37:18.360 --> 00:37:18.960
keep him with.
725
00:37:19.039 --> 00:37:22.320
Them well that's probably the safest place for, Him, yeah probably,
726
00:37:22.400 --> 00:37:26.519
honestly because if they send him away and them knows about,
727
00:37:26.519 --> 00:37:28.800
it he's gonna go get. Him so you might as
728
00:37:28.800 --> 00:37:31.719
well just all stay. Together So jolene busts, in how's she?
729
00:37:31.800 --> 00:37:37.559
DOING i, mean, Okay, well Like jolene comes to, like Thank.
730
00:37:37.639 --> 00:37:40.880
Matt kind of that Was. Teslin, oh jul.
731
00:37:42.559 --> 00:37:45.760
It appears to your reports if this creature that is
732
00:37:45.840 --> 00:37:46.880
chasing you were.
733
00:37:46.960 --> 00:37:50.480
Accurate And matt is, like could do you have anything to?
734
00:37:50.559 --> 00:37:53.519
Add not a, thing, REGARDLESS i need to return to
735
00:37:53.559 --> 00:37:56.679
The White. Tower i'll be leaving. TOMORROW i would like
736
00:37:56.760 --> 00:37:59.039
to ask if you could lend me some horses for the,
737
00:37:59.119 --> 00:38:02.039
trip whatever you can. SPARE i will not be. Picky
738
00:38:02.800 --> 00:38:06.039
did we already do? This teslin came and said thank
739
00:38:06.079 --> 00:38:09.079
you for your, help And matt, said take some, horses.
740
00:38:09.400 --> 00:38:09.960
Because that was.
741
00:38:10.039 --> 00:38:12.079
Nice jolene has now come in, gone all, right fuck,
742
00:38:12.159 --> 00:38:14.880
You i'm out of. Here CAN i have some? HORSES
743
00:38:14.920 --> 00:38:17.599
i don't get. Any no nobody in town would sell
744
00:38:17.639 --> 00:38:21.199
you any. Huh all, Right matt, said at least you
745
00:38:21.199 --> 00:38:23.159
asked nicely this, time, THOUGH i can see how hard
746
00:38:23.199 --> 00:38:26.320
it was for. YOU i promised some To tesla already
747
00:38:26.840 --> 00:38:28.960
you can have some, too and it will be worth
748
00:38:28.960 --> 00:38:30.760
it to have you bloody women out of my. Hair all,
749
00:38:30.840 --> 00:38:34.119
right that was very, Nice thank. You, however a word
750
00:38:34.119 --> 00:38:38.199
of advice considering the company you often. Keep you might
751
00:38:38.239 --> 00:38:41.480
want to learn to control your. Language, oh he just
752
00:38:41.679 --> 00:38:43.800
is your FAVOR i get.
753
00:38:43.840 --> 00:38:45.920
It but LIKE i get that he's being kind of,
754
00:38:45.960 --> 00:38:47.320
Rude but you are also kind of being.
755
00:38:47.239 --> 00:38:50.079
Rude considering the COMPANY i keep all too. Often it's bloody.
756
00:38:50.119 --> 00:38:53.079
AMAZING i don't swear more off with, You. JOLINE i
757
00:38:53.119 --> 00:38:56.000
need to write a letter to herrayal bloody, Majesty Queen
758
00:38:56.000 --> 00:38:59.320
elaine the Prim And juline, goes all, right you're gonna
759
00:38:59.320 --> 00:39:02.119
swear it hurt, too, probably of COURSE i. Am how
760
00:39:02.119 --> 00:39:03.360
else are you gonna trust it's really for?
761
00:39:03.519 --> 00:39:04.559
Me that's.
762
00:39:04.559 --> 00:39:08.480
Funny uh that's the end of chapter. Nine let's talk
763
00:39:08.559 --> 00:39:10.480
about the golemb a little bit. More let's talk About
764
00:39:10.559 --> 00:39:13.480
Joline matt a little. Bit maybe maybe, Not maybe we
765
00:39:13.480 --> 00:39:16.480
don't need to talk About Joline matt, anymore but anything
766
00:39:16.480 --> 00:39:18.000
else you want to talk. About you just picked up
767
00:39:18.000 --> 00:39:20.079
a cork with your toe and dropped it and now
768
00:39:20.079 --> 00:39:24.800
it's on the. Floor, yes beautiful. Cork. Uh so he
769
00:39:24.920 --> 00:39:27.639
is planning to kill the, golamb and he is planning
770
00:39:27.639 --> 00:39:29.239
to write To, elaine.
771
00:39:29.519 --> 00:39:30.559
How are we planning to kill a?
772
00:39:30.599 --> 00:39:33.079
Golamb how could you kill the?
773
00:39:33.079 --> 00:39:37.880
Golamb very. CAREFULLY i don't, know sizzle it to, death
774
00:39:38.079 --> 00:39:44.239
just press the thing into his? Forehead would that be
775
00:39:44.360 --> 00:39:47.719
enough for the BEST i don't, know BUT i can't
776
00:39:47.719 --> 00:39:49.920
think of another good way to do. Anything you can't
777
00:39:49.960 --> 00:39:54.800
really imprison it, Right, well what if he chopped its head,
778
00:39:54.800 --> 00:39:58.559
off dropped its homes, off chopped its legs, off threw
779
00:39:58.599 --> 00:39:59.599
them in a bunch of different.
780
00:39:59.639 --> 00:40:02.719
PLACES i think they just roll back. Together weigh it.
781
00:40:02.760 --> 00:40:08.199
Down it's real fucking. Strong weighed it down a, Lot Giles,
782
00:40:08.239 --> 00:40:08.679
cory it.
783
00:40:10.440 --> 00:40:13.920
Can, okay what else is the medallion? Made what can
784
00:40:14.000 --> 00:40:14.639
we get another?
785
00:40:14.719 --> 00:40:17.639
Medallion that would require somebody who could duplicate Tary.
786
00:40:17.639 --> 00:40:21.800
Angreel what if we go to The? Finn we, go, hey, finn,
787
00:40:22.280 --> 00:40:27.199
UH i need three? Things One moraine back, right?
788
00:40:27.719 --> 00:40:32.440
Okay? Two well that again the deals. Thing you have
789
00:40:32.480 --> 00:40:33.519
to go through the door for.
790
00:40:33.559 --> 00:40:37.119
That, yeah but we're not doing the. Door, Okay so
791
00:40:37.360 --> 00:40:40.559
how do we figure out how to so because we
792
00:40:40.599 --> 00:40:41.880
obviously need another fox?
793
00:40:41.920 --> 00:40:44.440
Head, yeah but that would require somebody who Knew.
794
00:40:45.519 --> 00:40:47.480
WELL i was, like maybe that's why we're writing a
795
00:40:47.559 --> 00:40:50.360
letter To. Elaine make a bunch of, them or make
796
00:40:50.400 --> 00:40:53.639
a super, One like can we like make a make
797
00:40:54.280 --> 00:40:57.079
make like a figure out like what it's made, of
798
00:40:58.039 --> 00:41:02.599
and make like a weapon out of it of some,
799
00:41:02.800 --> 00:41:04.679
kind maybe like a.
800
00:41:04.800 --> 00:41:07.280
Scythe, oh so like make it out of a sharp
801
00:41:07.320 --> 00:41:10.239
metal and hope that it wouldn't it would cause a. Rise, Basically,
802
00:41:10.519 --> 00:41:12.199
yeah that's an interesting.
803
00:41:12.239 --> 00:41:17.360
Idea, yeah something good or like a well he's he's
804
00:41:17.400 --> 00:41:20.760
got that bostaff. Thing everybody always talks a lot about
805
00:41:20.920 --> 00:41:23.880
how good he is WITH i don't, Know i'm just
806
00:41:23.920 --> 00:41:27.599
thinking off the top of my. Head i'm, like he's
807
00:41:27.639 --> 00:41:29.360
got to Make, yeah they got to make a weapon
808
00:41:30.159 --> 00:41:32.440
so that they can kill the golom with. It so
809
00:41:32.480 --> 00:41:35.360
if he lets her thoughts around with the Fox head
810
00:41:35.400 --> 00:41:37.920
medallion for a little while and just poke at, it
811
00:41:38.400 --> 00:41:43.239
maybe she can make something out of the same material or,
812
00:41:43.280 --> 00:41:45.639
whatever like figure out what it's made out of or
813
00:41:45.719 --> 00:41:48.360
how it's, made and then make something else with.
814
00:41:48.440 --> 00:41:48.599
It.
815
00:41:49.039 --> 00:41:51.239
MAYBE i, mean she knows how to do that with
816
00:41:51.320 --> 00:41:52.320
a lot of other shit she.
817
00:41:52.360 --> 00:41:54.159
Has she is kind of a magical.
818
00:41:54.199 --> 00:41:57.840
Engineer, yeah So i'm, like why not be, like, hey
819
00:41:58.480 --> 00:42:02.559
can you make like a sword of this so THAT
820
00:42:02.639 --> 00:42:05.719
i don't get fucked by the, way not a, sword, like,
821
00:42:06.360 --> 00:42:08.159
well it have to be a spearhead, right because we
822
00:42:08.239 --> 00:42:11.559
got the schondarray, Right, yeah could we get like the
823
00:42:11.599 --> 00:42:14.159
other side of the chondraaie to have, like.
824
00:42:14.519 --> 00:42:19.199
How are you pronouncing? It the chondraraie a shonda. Rye
825
00:42:19.719 --> 00:42:20.119
that's WHAT i.
826
00:42:20.119 --> 00:42:22.960
Said you, SAID i said A Shondarrai.
827
00:42:22.480 --> 00:42:23.719
OKAY i thought you were just saying The.
828
00:42:23.920 --> 00:42:27.039
Oh i'm JUST i just like clipped it BECAUSE i was.
829
00:42:27.039 --> 00:42:29.519
Speaking all, good But i'm just. Curious, no you're. FINE
830
00:42:29.559 --> 00:42:33.079
i know it's the. Chondarraie so the could we get
831
00:42:33.079 --> 00:42:36.559
the other side to be like a blade that coulde kill?
832
00:42:36.840 --> 00:42:39.000
Golam, well you couldn't really walk with it. ANYMORE i
833
00:42:39.039 --> 00:42:44.000
mean it's also a walking. STICK i mean, MAYBE i,
834
00:42:44.039 --> 00:42:46.599
MEAN I i it's a it's a reasonable assumption that
835
00:42:46.599 --> 00:42:47.519
if you could make a bar right.
836
00:42:47.559 --> 00:42:51.840
Nice stuff something that he could carry, around that.
837
00:42:51.920 --> 00:42:53.000
Is a totally reasonable.
838
00:42:53.039 --> 00:42:55.519
ASSUMPTION i just that's WHAT i feel like should. Happen
839
00:42:55.880 --> 00:42:58.760
maybe that's why he had to stay for the golamb,
840
00:42:59.639 --> 00:43:03.519
yeah like to get to get a weapon to fight,
841
00:43:03.559 --> 00:43:05.320
one because, otherwise if he were like out on the,
842
00:43:05.400 --> 00:43:08.599
road that probably would have fucked him up worse. Somehow
843
00:43:08.639 --> 00:43:12.280
maybe MAYBE i don't. KNOW i THINK i think there's
844
00:43:12.280 --> 00:43:15.960
a longer game being played here With, Varren like how
845
00:43:16.039 --> 00:43:17.800
long has he been there at this? Point like a?
846
00:43:17.840 --> 00:43:21.840
Week? Yeah, ish not terribly. Long.
847
00:43:21.960 --> 00:43:24.119
YEAH i feel like we're gonna learn later in the
848
00:43:24.119 --> 00:43:25.559
month why he's.
849
00:43:25.559 --> 00:43:27.480
There. Yeah what if he gets all the way to
850
00:43:27.519 --> 00:43:29.840
day thirty and just fucks off and nothing. Happens well
851
00:43:30.440 --> 00:43:32.639
satisfying is what if this is just A Robert JORDAN
852
00:43:32.679 --> 00:43:34.639
i needed the timelines to work. Out you, know.
853
00:43:36.400 --> 00:43:40.400
Here's the. Thing at this point either, WAY i wouldn't be,
854
00:43:40.480 --> 00:43:43.559
surprised BUT i do feel Like Brandon sanderson is at
855
00:43:43.559 --> 00:43:46.440
the helm at this. Point BUT i feel like he
856
00:43:46.559 --> 00:43:50.159
has a lot more to. Prove, Yeah like he doesn't
857
00:43:50.199 --> 00:43:53.679
have the luxury of getting to, like you, know be,
858
00:43:53.800 --> 00:43:56.320
like oh that was. Nothing actually he had to keep
859
00:43:56.360 --> 00:43:59.800
floor beans, though, YEAH i had. To but but here's the.
860
00:43:59.840 --> 00:44:03.719
Thing here's the. THING i doubt that there's two floor,
861
00:44:03.760 --> 00:44:07.519
beans like floor beans served a. Purpose as weird as it, WAS.
862
00:44:10.199 --> 00:44:12.440
I didn't think you'd come to defend floor.
863
00:44:12.480 --> 00:44:14.519
Beans i'm not defending floor.
864
00:44:14.559 --> 00:44:17.480
Beans first.
865
00:44:17.599 --> 00:44:20.760
Stop. Stop you KNOW i hate that more than anyone.
866
00:44:20.760 --> 00:44:21.320
HERE i.
867
00:44:21.360 --> 00:44:24.960
Do but here's the. Thing here's the thing from a
868
00:44:25.440 --> 00:44:29.800
from a plot, perspective there was some there was some
869
00:44:29.920 --> 00:44:35.000
reason behind the floor beans a little, bit. RIGHT i
870
00:44:35.119 --> 00:44:37.559
just feel Like brandon doesn't have the luxury of being
871
00:44:37.599 --> 00:44:42.639
able to be like and that plot point meant nothing probably,
872
00:44:42.679 --> 00:44:46.480
not you, know like because he hasn't earned that like
873
00:44:47.480 --> 00:44:51.719
Thing Robert jordan. Has we're Like jordan to really do
874
00:44:51.840 --> 00:44:54.639
that for the first five. Books that was like later
875
00:44:54.679 --> 00:44:56.360
on that he was, Like, okay some of this stuff
876
00:44:56.440 --> 00:45:00.679
is just kind of. Nothing H, yeah like he kind
877
00:45:00.719 --> 00:45:04.199
of at that point had like a captive audience at that. Point,
878
00:45:04.320 --> 00:45:09.079
yeah Like, Brandon brandon's still pretty early. Career at this, Point.
879
00:45:08.760 --> 00:45:12.880
Brandon had written The launtras and Missed BORN i think
880
00:45:13.360 --> 00:45:16.639
when he started, These, yeah that's not very far in
881
00:45:16.719 --> 00:45:17.039
oh he'd.
882
00:45:17.039 --> 00:45:19.360
Written considering how many books he has since.
883
00:45:19.599 --> 00:45:22.199
Published like two, books three, Maybe.
884
00:45:21.920 --> 00:45:25.800
So i'm feeling Like i'm feeling like this has to
885
00:45:25.840 --> 00:45:28.920
go somewhere because this also doesn't Feel robert jordany to.
886
00:45:29.000 --> 00:45:31.239
Me the time thing the way thirty, Days.
887
00:45:31.159 --> 00:45:34.000
Oh, well that might Be Robert, jordan BUT i feel
888
00:45:34.039 --> 00:45:37.679
Like brandon has to make that payoff. Somehow he plus
889
00:45:37.719 --> 00:45:40.280
like a letter from varn is going to be like,
890
00:45:40.519 --> 00:45:44.239
Interesting like He's varen's a fun character to play. With
891
00:45:45.320 --> 00:45:47.119
SO i feel like he's not going to miss the
892
00:45:47.159 --> 00:45:49.800
opportunity to play with because this is his first, book,
893
00:45:50.000 --> 00:45:52.760
right no necessary second, book BUT i feel like he's
894
00:45:52.760 --> 00:45:54.679
not going to miss the opportunity to play With varren some.
895
00:45:54.760 --> 00:45:57.039
More was the first thing he looked, up you, know
896
00:45:58.000 --> 00:45:59.880
was Whether varon was good or? Read what Is up With?
897
00:46:00.039 --> 00:46:01.320
Aaron was the first thing he looked.
898
00:46:01.400 --> 00:46:04.079
Up it's, Great, yeah of course that'd be my first thing.
899
00:46:04.119 --> 00:46:07.480
Too there's three, THINGS i, think three things that he
900
00:46:07.599 --> 00:46:09.519
said he knows that he's not going to tell people
901
00:46:09.599 --> 00:46:11.679
or he's going to space. Out he did reveal one
902
00:46:11.719 --> 00:46:13.360
of them two years.
903
00:46:13.400 --> 00:46:16.079
Ago wait, wait, wait wait What there's a few.
904
00:46:15.960 --> 00:46:19.239
Like secrets That brandon knows That he's, like, YES i
905
00:46:19.280 --> 00:46:20.840
know these, things BUT i don't want to tell you
906
00:46:20.840 --> 00:46:23.400
what they are. Yet. Question but the books are. Done
907
00:46:23.599 --> 00:46:26.039
YES i. Know but a few years ago there was
908
00:46:26.079 --> 00:46:27.639
like he did this whole thing where he was, like
909
00:46:27.679 --> 00:46:29.480
here's a SECRET i happened to, know and he told
910
00:46:29.480 --> 00:46:32.880
people this, thing and the for the most, part the
911
00:46:32.920 --> 00:46:37.000
reaction has, Been, oh we're gonna pretend that's not. True
912
00:46:37.400 --> 00:46:39.159
what is? IT i can't tell. YOU i can tell
913
00:46:39.159 --> 00:46:42.480
you after we finished the. Books, oh it's it was
914
00:46:42.519 --> 00:46:46.440
a divisive thing that he. Revealed, Wow i'm.
915
00:46:46.440 --> 00:46:48.960
Interested, yes Well i'm getting.
916
00:46:48.960 --> 00:46:52.719
There you are getting, there OBVIOUSLY i. Can't i'm.
917
00:46:52.719 --> 00:46:54.480
Worried i'm immediately going to be, Like i'm going to
918
00:46:54.519 --> 00:46:55.039
pretend those own.
919
00:46:55.119 --> 00:46:58.920
Room you, might, right you. Might, okay it's it's it's
920
00:46:58.920 --> 00:47:00.960
a it's a reveal where he, WENT i thought people
921
00:47:01.000 --> 00:47:02.960
would pick up on, this and everyone, went what the
922
00:47:03.000 --> 00:47:06.559
fuck are you talking? About, Huh, well apparently maybe you'll
923
00:47:06.599 --> 00:47:09.079
pick up on whatever this thing is when you read to.
924
00:47:09.159 --> 00:47:13.039
It Maybe i've been known to pick up on stuff
925
00:47:13.239 --> 00:47:19.760
that people you. Have, yes, Anyway, okay we gotta cheat
926
00:47:19.760 --> 00:47:22.440
our way Into. Genji i'm going to figure out how
927
00:47:22.480 --> 00:47:25.599
we're doing. THAT i gotta think about, it. THOUGH i
928
00:47:25.599 --> 00:47:29.119
Think dread's fucking around with with the people from The.
929
00:47:29.159 --> 00:47:32.320
North like, otherwise it just doesn't make any, fuck which is.
930
00:47:32.360 --> 00:47:35.280
Fine otherwise it just doesn't make any fucking. SOUND i
931
00:47:35.280 --> 00:47:36.800
don't feel like this reveal is going to be that.
932
00:47:36.760 --> 00:47:37.920
Satisfying The Damon dread.
933
00:47:37.960 --> 00:47:40.880
One, yeah BECAUSE i can't think of a of a
934
00:47:40.920 --> 00:47:42.800
reveal that would be satisfying to.
935
00:47:42.840 --> 00:47:46.320
Me it's either going to be a foregone conclusion or
936
00:47:46.320 --> 00:47:49.840
a what the fuck is? This, yeah which would you? Prefer?
937
00:47:50.360 --> 00:47:53.639
Well a foregone conclusion BECAUSE i like being, right that's.
938
00:47:53.679 --> 00:47:58.599
Fair BUT i don't. KNOW i would like it if
939
00:47:58.599 --> 00:48:02.039
they surprised. ME i don't, know but like sometimes the
940
00:48:02.119 --> 00:48:04.840
surprise like doesn't feel. Earned do you know WHAT i?
941
00:48:04.920 --> 00:48:06.719
Mean SO i kind of would like it to feel Your,
942
00:48:07.199 --> 00:48:10.400
YEAH i don't, Know i'm down for.
943
00:48:10.440 --> 00:48:13.039
Whatever very an example of a surprise not feeling, EARNED
944
00:48:14.360 --> 00:48:16.760
i guess spoilers for whatever you're about to talk, about
945
00:48:16.800 --> 00:48:18.360
but make it a big. Property you Can't.
946
00:48:19.920 --> 00:48:22.719
NOW i can't think of anything a surprise not feeling
947
00:48:22.760 --> 00:48:25.719
earned BECAUSE i tend to forget about them really fast
948
00:48:25.960 --> 00:48:28.719
IF i don't like how it went, down Because i'm,
949
00:48:28.760 --> 00:48:31.639
LIKE i don't have room in my head for. Negativity that's.
950
00:48:31.679 --> 00:48:36.400
Fair surprise it doesn't feel earned in this in this?
951
00:48:36.440 --> 00:48:39.559
Series, No, no BECAUSE i, LIKE i know some people
952
00:48:39.599 --> 00:48:42.800
say that The army of The dead In return of
953
00:48:42.840 --> 00:48:44.960
The king the movie doesn't feel.
954
00:48:45.000 --> 00:48:48.760
Earned that's that's a good. Example, yeah because they never
955
00:48:48.800 --> 00:48:52.119
talk about it before and they don't talk about it.
956
00:48:52.159 --> 00:48:56.199
After it has very little like it just feels like
957
00:48:56.199 --> 00:49:00.320
a plot. Device HAVE i told you how to The?
958
00:49:00.320 --> 00:49:07.199
Odyssey what doesn't feel earned in The? Odyssey in the actual, book, yeah,
959
00:49:07.559 --> 00:49:11.000
okay the the thing that doesn't feel, Well but the
960
00:49:11.280 --> 00:49:14.960
ending doesn't feel earned when he kills, Everybody, no when
961
00:49:15.079 --> 00:49:18.880
the relatives of those people him, up they.
962
00:49:18.880 --> 00:49:22.000
Do zeus comes in and he's justs, okay we're.
963
00:49:22.000 --> 00:49:25.559
Done, yeah that doesn't feel. Earned where Has zeus been
964
00:49:25.599 --> 00:49:29.440
all this? Time, well he's completely uninterested up until. Now
965
00:49:29.440 --> 00:49:30.519
all the book opens.
966
00:49:30.239 --> 00:49:32.079
With him, saying, Okay ifena go get, him.
967
00:49:32.159 --> 00:49:34.199
Okay and then he fucks off for the entire, Book, like,
968
00:49:34.480 --> 00:49:37.239
yeah pretty, much it doesn't feel. Earned do you know
969
00:49:37.280 --> 00:49:37.559
what the.
970
00:49:37.639 --> 00:49:39.760
Do you know how the the armies the dead work
971
00:49:39.800 --> 00:49:42.880
in the, books by the, way it's completely. Different tell.
972
00:49:42.960 --> 00:49:46.800
Me they go through The Dimald. Road they get to
973
00:49:46.840 --> 00:49:50.960
this hill And Araic gorn, like you don't see like.
974
00:49:51.079 --> 00:49:54.639
Anything Araic gorn like talks TO i think he like
975
00:49:54.679 --> 00:49:56.440
puts his sword in the, ground or he like talks
976
00:49:56.480 --> 00:49:58.719
to just off a hill to like to the, wind
977
00:49:59.400 --> 00:50:01.719
and like maybe you see a ghost or, too maybe,
978
00:50:01.760 --> 00:50:08.199
Not but it's very implied and not shown that anything
979
00:50:08.239 --> 00:50:11.519
is even. Happening like there's No pirates of The caribbean, ghosts
980
00:50:11.519 --> 00:50:14.840
there's no. Nothing and then later at The battle Of Pilinar,
981
00:50:14.960 --> 00:50:23.840
fields the same thing is, happening where the battle is,
982
00:50:23.840 --> 00:50:26.199
happening and then the tide. Turns the tide, turns the tide,
983
00:50:26.199 --> 00:50:28.920
turns and then the ships show, up and you, go, oh,
984
00:50:28.920 --> 00:50:31.920
no we're completely. Fucked but then instead of it being
985
00:50:32.039 --> 00:50:36.199
an army of green, ghosts men from Dol amroth get
986
00:50:36.199 --> 00:50:40.400
out because essentially what happens is there's the, pirates The
987
00:50:40.400 --> 00:50:44.599
corsairs Of umbar coming, up and then the ghosts just scare.
988
00:50:44.719 --> 00:50:48.880
Them the ghosts appear and scare them so hard they
989
00:50:49.039 --> 00:50:50.480
jump out of their ships and.
990
00:50:50.599 --> 00:50:52.199
Drown, yes you've told me.
991
00:50:52.239 --> 00:50:55.199
This and then the men at Dol amroth get in
992
00:50:55.239 --> 00:50:57.519
the ships and sail up to.
993
00:50:57.559 --> 00:51:01.320
Help can't talk about an ISSUE i have Always i'm
994
00:51:01.320 --> 00:51:02.119
thinking about The odyssey.
995
00:51:02.159 --> 00:51:05.880
Stuff, okay that's. Fine. Listen i'm comfortable Spoiling. ALI i
996
00:51:05.960 --> 00:51:08.639
have me ship Because I'm. BABYLON i DIDN'T i didn't
997
00:51:08.679 --> 00:51:11.199
want to. Mythology, Okay but here's the. Thing the people
998
00:51:11.280 --> 00:51:15.599
listening to this. PODCAST i have very high confidence basically
999
00:51:15.599 --> 00:51:17.800
everybody listening to this podcast knows the story of The.
1000
00:51:17.800 --> 00:51:20.960
Odyssey people watching THAT i want to spoil the.
1001
00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:25.440
Odyssey i'm just gonna talk about very well known story
1002
00:51:25.840 --> 00:51:31.039
about the like cassandree About, ifigenia, right And clytemnestra's all
1003
00:51:31.119 --> 00:51:35.920
piste off Because agamemnon killed his Daughter pigenia in order
1004
00:51:36.000 --> 00:51:39.199
to ensure safe. Passage, right good wins or whatever the
1005
00:51:39.199 --> 00:51:43.159
fuck us because men are literally doing the. Most no
1006
00:51:44.280 --> 00:51:48.920
one asked him to do ship, anyway so he was just,
1007
00:51:48.960 --> 00:51:51.960
LIKE i know what to. Do i'm like a fatted
1008
00:51:52.039 --> 00:51:57.239
calf would have also probably been. Acceptable they tried, it all, Right,
1009
00:51:58.199 --> 00:52:01.480
still that's such. Bullshit then clearly you're not meant to
1010
00:52:01.559 --> 00:52:03.199
go sure anyway?
1011
00:52:03.360 --> 00:52:05.960
Anyway what were you gonna we're gonna does? THAT i feel.
1012
00:52:06.079 --> 00:52:09.440
NO i feel justice For clydemnestra because if anyone has
1013
00:52:09.480 --> 00:52:12.920
a fucking reason to kill their fucking husband when he comes,
1014
00:52:12.920 --> 00:52:15.679
home it's her and only to be turned around and
1015
00:52:15.760 --> 00:52:19.079
killed by her son or restes over a dude he
1016
00:52:19.119 --> 00:52:22.480
probably barely fucking, knew because that man had been gone
1017
00:52:23.239 --> 00:52:25.599
fifteen fucking years at that. Point how many? Years ten?
1018
00:52:25.719 --> 00:52:30.760
Years he got home pretty, fast, okay so he hasn't
1019
00:52:30.800 --> 00:52:33.039
seen this man in ten. Years the last thing that
1020
00:52:33.079 --> 00:52:35.880
guy did when he was, home was kill his fucking.
1021
00:52:36.039 --> 00:52:38.159
Sister do? That didn't do that at? Home.
1022
00:52:38.599 --> 00:52:41.239
Okay last thing the guy, did, though was, that like
1023
00:52:41.840 --> 00:52:44.840
was in living memory of those, people was kill his fucking.
1024
00:52:44.880 --> 00:52:49.800
Sister and he's, like and his mom rightfully so kill handed.
1025
00:52:49.840 --> 00:52:52.400
Him is asked for that and killed it the motherfucker
1026
00:52:52.559 --> 00:52:55.000
and took a, lover, which by the, Way i'm on
1027
00:52:55.039 --> 00:53:01.840
her side about. Also. Okay so then right then this
1028
00:53:01.960 --> 00:53:05.119
fucking kid who she raised for the past ten years
1029
00:53:05.800 --> 00:53:07.719
turns around and is, Like i'm not cool with you
1030
00:53:07.880 --> 00:53:12.760
killing my, child killing, father So i'm gonna kill you.
1031
00:53:12.840 --> 00:53:20.119
Back arrestes is a dumb. Ass arrestes is a. Fuckhead
1032
00:53:20.599 --> 00:53:26.079
tell Me i'm, wrong you Will i'm. Sorry things don't
1033
00:53:26.119 --> 00:53:27.639
exactly turn out well for.
1034
00:53:27.840 --> 00:53:32.440
Him, good he's a. Head you know How agamemnon, ends,
1035
00:53:32.599 --> 00:53:38.079
right he? Dies no With, Arrestes what do you mean
1036
00:53:38.239 --> 00:53:41.679
he gets chased away by the. Furies. Good the furies
1037
00:53:41.719 --> 00:53:43.440
show up and start chasing, him as they.
1038
00:53:43.440 --> 00:53:47.320
Should the furies are always. Based tell Me i'm. Wrong
1039
00:53:47.719 --> 00:53:50.360
the furies always know what to. Do we should have
1040
00:53:50.440 --> 00:53:53.440
furies of yourst. Diet, OKAY i would volunteer to be
1041
00:53:53.480 --> 00:53:56.360
a fury and Chase matt around when they're acting like. Bullshit.
1042
00:53:56.480 --> 00:54:03.639
Agamemnon uh, Yeah erestes comes, back Kills, clydemnestra ur reunites
1043
00:54:03.639 --> 00:54:07.599
With electra many years. LATER i haven't read this in a.
1044
00:54:07.639 --> 00:54:09.000
While this is in The Libatian.
1045
00:54:09.039 --> 00:54:14.079
Bearers i'm just Saying i'm On clydemnestra's side. HERE i
1046
00:54:14.119 --> 00:54:16.400
think that she was deeply wronged by both of these.
1047
00:54:16.440 --> 00:54:18.679
Mets she. Was she raised a son who wasn't. Shit,
1048
00:54:19.360 --> 00:54:21.559
like if there's one time where you're, like, yeah you know, what,
1049
00:54:21.599 --> 00:54:25.400
mom he deserved to, die it's. This it's, This, Dad
1050
00:54:26.159 --> 00:54:28.599
i'd be, like thank GOD i wasn't born a. Girl
1051
00:54:28.719 --> 00:54:29.480
what it could have been?
1052
00:54:29.519 --> 00:54:32.000
Me he forgot about the. Humenities, Okay so in The,
1053
00:54:32.000 --> 00:54:36.000
you the third one is about the development of the
1054
00:54:36.079 --> 00:54:40.559
judicial system In athenian. Society orestus is, hunting tormented by the.
1055
00:54:40.599 --> 00:54:43.079
Furies The tree Of goddess Is Da Da DA d D.
1056
00:54:42.599 --> 00:54:45.320
D they relentlessly pursue arrestues the killing of his mother
1057
00:54:45.440 --> 00:54:47.760
through The International Apollo. Arrest he's able to escape them
1058
00:54:47.760 --> 00:54:50.159
for a brief moment while they're asleep Because apolo basically told, him,
1059
00:54:50.159 --> 00:54:50.800
hey go kill your.
1060
00:54:50.800 --> 00:54:56.400
Mom the Escape i'd be, like why's ghost comes to
1061
00:54:56.480 --> 00:54:58.840
wake up the furies to obtain justice on her son
1062
00:54:58.920 --> 00:55:01.800
arrestees for killing, her which sounds like she also needs
1063
00:55:01.880 --> 00:55:04.079
to get justice On apollo for Suggesting.
1064
00:55:03.800 --> 00:55:06.320
Arrestes pleads to the Goddess athena her. Help she responds
1065
00:55:06.360 --> 00:55:08.880
by setting up a trial for him In. Athens oh my,
1066
00:55:08.960 --> 00:55:11.920
God orestes was a trial dummy By, athena to said
1067
00:55:11.960 --> 00:55:14.920
the first courtroom. Trial after the trial comes to, end
1068
00:55:14.920 --> 00:55:17.960
the votes are, Tied athena cast the deciding vote determines
1069
00:55:18.039 --> 00:55:20.159
arrestus will not be. Killed this does not sit last your,
1070
00:55:20.239 --> 00:55:22.840
furies But athena eventually persuades them to accept the. Decision
1071
00:55:22.840 --> 00:55:26.480
instead of violently retaliating against, wrongdoers they become a constructive
1072
00:55:26.519 --> 00:55:29.039
force of vigilance In. Athens she then changes their names
1073
00:55:29.039 --> 00:55:31.639
from the furies to The, humenities which means the gracious.
1074
00:55:31.679 --> 00:55:35.960
Ones athena then rules all trials must henceforth be settled
1075
00:55:35.960 --> 00:55:38.719
in court rather than being carried out. Personally that's. Cool,
1076
00:55:39.199 --> 00:55:42.800
no that's actually that's cool because they that this is
1077
00:55:42.960 --> 00:55:45.440
because The. Oristaia the whole thing of The orestaya is
1078
00:55:45.440 --> 00:55:48.039
he kills, her and then she kills him because he killed,
1079
00:55:48.079 --> 00:55:51.199
her and then he kills her because she killed, him
1080
00:55:51.239 --> 00:55:53.519
because he killed, her and then the furies are gonna
1081
00:55:53.559 --> 00:55:55.719
kill him because he killed, her because she killed him
1082
00:55:55.719 --> 00:55:58.519
because he killed, Her and Then athena is, like what
1083
00:55:58.599 --> 00:55:59.760
if instead we had to.
1084
00:55:59.719 --> 00:56:04.239
Try this family On Jerry Springer, Frankly, yeah because.
1085
00:56:03.840 --> 00:56:05.800
Well let's, See.
1086
00:56:04.400 --> 00:56:07.639
I'm just saying that that was kind of, Bullshit like because,
1087
00:56:08.559 --> 00:56:11.440
listen if there was one person THAT i think gets
1088
00:56:11.440 --> 00:56:15.679
a pass forgetting to murder, somebody it's a. MOTHER i,
1089
00:56:15.719 --> 00:56:18.599
THINK i think who his child was sacrificed for a
1090
00:56:18.639 --> 00:56:23.639
bullshit fucking reason by the person who she's married.
1091
00:56:23.679 --> 00:56:25.960
TO i Think clydemnestra does get a. Pass but here's my,
1092
00:56:26.039 --> 00:56:28.239
question how do you feel About? Hamlet what do.
1093
00:56:28.239 --> 00:56:33.639
You, mean like him killing Freaking claudius.
1094
00:56:33.519 --> 00:56:36.039
And indirectly causing the death of his.
1095
00:56:36.079 --> 00:56:38.079
MOTHER i think he gets a pass for that. One
1096
00:56:38.519 --> 00:56:43.880
Not polonius, Though, no that one was. Bullshit but like For,
1097
00:56:44.079 --> 00:56:47.400
claudius you don't want to get, killed don't kill. Somebody
1098
00:56:47.760 --> 00:56:48.840
that's kind of my, Vibe.
1099
00:56:48.719 --> 00:56:50.880
Okay but if you don't want to get, killed don't kill.
1100
00:56:50.920 --> 00:56:55.320
Somebody why does that not apply To clydemnestra.
1101
00:56:55.519 --> 00:56:58.639
Because he killed her baby, first and she probably would
1102
00:56:58.639 --> 00:57:01.079
have been okay With she was, like she was, like
1103
00:57:01.199 --> 00:57:03.440
you know, What i'm okay with potentially getting killed for this.
1104
00:57:03.480 --> 00:57:06.519
One And i'm, like who are We it's just like
1105
00:57:06.559 --> 00:57:07.880
it's just bullshit that it was her own.
1106
00:57:07.920 --> 00:57:09.159
Son how do we feel About?
1107
00:57:09.239 --> 00:57:15.320
Medea, oh that was fucked. Up that was fucked. Up
1108
00:57:15.840 --> 00:57:18.480
she killed those babies for no, reason Like jason was
1109
00:57:18.480 --> 00:57:21.280
a cheating. Asshole but we we all know that the
1110
00:57:21.320 --> 00:57:24.599
answer is not they kill kill your. Kids that's we
1111
00:57:24.679 --> 00:57:28.000
know that's not the. Answer we know what the answer
1112
00:57:28.039 --> 00:57:28.320
on that.
1113
00:57:28.239 --> 00:57:31.199
One throughout all three of these of these tragedies is
1114
00:57:31.199 --> 00:57:31.840
don't kill your.
1115
00:57:31.880 --> 00:57:35.639
Kids do not kill your. Kids that's a terrible. Idea
1116
00:57:35.880 --> 00:57:39.320
this podcast is against. Infanticide and we're not afraid.
1117
00:57:39.000 --> 00:57:42.239
To come out What i'm. Saying all cheers to that we.
1118
00:57:42.280 --> 00:57:46.079
Are we are not here for. It like there's like
1119
00:57:46.079 --> 00:57:49.000
a disturbing and weird amount Of greek tragedies that have
1120
00:57:49.039 --> 00:57:52.159
to do with killing. Kids And i'm, like let's, not let's,
1121
00:57:52.239 --> 00:57:55.079
not let's not do. That what are the ones in
1122
00:57:55.079 --> 00:57:55.280
full of?
1123
00:57:55.360 --> 00:57:56.639
Killings there's a, ton.
1124
00:57:57.480 --> 00:58:00.519
There's a ton like that woman who like who had
1125
00:58:00.559 --> 00:58:03.320
like all those, kids And artemis That apollo killed all
1126
00:58:03.360 --> 00:58:06.119
those kids because she was like talking shit about the
1127
00:58:06.159 --> 00:58:08.400
fact that the other lady only had twins and she
1128
00:58:08.480 --> 00:58:10.800
had like fourteen fucking, kids and so they were, Like
1129
00:58:10.800 --> 00:58:14.280
i'm gonna kill all your, kids and then she cried
1130
00:58:14.599 --> 00:58:16.480
so much she became like a waterfall or some.
1131
00:58:16.599 --> 00:58:20.159
SHIT i don't remember this. One, yeah, Oh Artemist apollo
1132
00:58:20.239 --> 00:58:24.360
Killing niobe's, Children, Naobi oh, WOW i forgot about this.
1133
00:58:24.400 --> 00:58:28.360
One, yeah she was talking shit and then they were,
1134
00:58:28.400 --> 00:58:30.039
like you know what we're gonna. Do in, Response we're
1135
00:58:30.039 --> 00:58:33.280
gonna kill all your, kids which is. Crazy there was
1136
00:58:33.320 --> 00:58:36.280
like fourteen fucking. Kids that's too. Many just kill her,
1137
00:58:36.320 --> 00:58:41.360
instead like what, yeah oh twenty, kids that's too.
1138
00:58:41.239 --> 00:58:45.239
Many twelve to. Twenty, yeah but, yeah.
1139
00:58:45.119 --> 00:58:49.559
And then she cried or. Something she cried so.
1140
00:58:49.639 --> 00:58:51.920
Much oh It's hubris, Again, allio it's.
1141
00:58:52.079 --> 00:58:55.000
Always fucking well what did she?
1142
00:58:55.039 --> 00:58:56.639
Become, Uh?
1143
00:58:56.800 --> 00:58:59.159
Niobi, yeah she became like a. Thing let's sa they
1144
00:58:59.199 --> 00:59:03.000
turned her into something because you wouldn't stop. Crying i'm telling.
1145
00:59:03.039 --> 00:59:08.039
You Was astianax getting thrown off the fucking.
1146
00:59:08.119 --> 00:59:10.679
Wall, god of, course ASTIAN i forgot about.
1147
00:59:10.519 --> 00:59:15.000
A, Yeah i'm not done. Either fucking A, well this
1148
00:59:15.039 --> 00:59:18.079
one wasn't in, fantaside but it was. Attempted they threw
1149
00:59:18.159 --> 00:59:21.639
A festus as an infant From Mount olympus because he was.
1150
00:59:21.679 --> 00:59:25.199
Deformed yeah that. Did, yeah let me.
1151
00:59:25.239 --> 00:59:27.880
See i'm not even. Done i'm not even. Done but
1152
00:59:27.920 --> 00:59:32.639

1153
00:59:32.320 --> 00:59:34.719
Oh, Stories well, SURE i don't.
1154
00:59:34.719 --> 00:59:38.000
KNOW i can't remember WHAT i, said but, okay Askedian, axe,
1155
00:59:38.159 --> 00:59:44.320
like let's not forget fucking Of. Pijania there's. More there's
1156
00:59:44.360 --> 00:59:46.920
a lot of baby killing In greek. Tragedies they were
1157
00:59:47.000 --> 00:59:49.679
killing everybody and attempts to kill. Babies hara was trying
1158
00:59:49.679 --> 00:59:51.880
to kill every baby That zeus. Had they had to
1159
00:59:51.960 --> 00:59:52.880
hide every baby from.
1160
00:59:52.920 --> 00:59:54.440
Her that didn't work out so good for.
1161
00:59:54.480 --> 00:59:57.840
Her, yeah they had hide every baby from. Her there were,
1162
00:59:57.880 --> 00:59:59.760
more but those are WHAT i.
1163
00:59:59.760 --> 01:00:04.639
Have that's. Enough that's An you, KNOW i really Studied
1164
01:00:04.639 --> 01:00:08.519
greek plays a lot in. College there's. More there's my
1165
01:00:08.599 --> 01:00:12.000
favorite one is Uh, philiptitis which is just a guy
1166
01:00:12.119 --> 01:00:15.119
Hates odysseus because he like abandoned him on an. Island
1167
01:00:15.360 --> 01:00:16.000
was he super?
1168
01:00:16.000 --> 01:00:18.320
Creepy didn't he like chase a bunch of nymphs around
1169
01:00:18.320 --> 01:00:19.840
and they had to turn into trees just to get
1170
01:00:19.840 --> 01:00:23.760
away from them because men can't take A, no was that?
1171
01:00:23.840 --> 01:00:28.159
Him? NO i don't think. So was That? Pan that

murder his wife and children twice.
1179
01:00:47.760 --> 01:00:50.159
After the first. TIME i would not get married. Again
1180
01:00:50.320 --> 01:00:52.800
who is marrying this man after he did?
1181
01:00:52.800 --> 01:00:53.519

1186
01:01:10.519 --> 01:01:15.280
abandon him on this island and he gets really pissed
1187
01:01:15.360 --> 01:01:18.559
off Because odysseus, says, yeah let's fucking leave this guy
1188
01:01:18.559 --> 01:01:21.159
on this. Island he gets really, mad but he has
1189
01:01:21.199 --> 01:01:24.639
a cool bow and, arrow and so they need to
1190
01:01:24.639 --> 01:01:26.440
