WEBVTT
1
00:00:22.879 --> 00:00:28.640
And welcome back to us. The podcast exclusively for people
2
00:00:28.679 --> 00:00:32.280
who believe humans need more animal blood because it straightens
3
00:00:32.359 --> 00:00:36.359
the spine where their host is always I'm Nick.
4
00:00:36.920 --> 00:00:43.079
I'm Andrew Elsine. Come on, give it to me, doctor Leo. Okay,
5
00:00:43.520 --> 00:00:50.799
thank you. I've had to prevent myself from putting that
6
00:00:50.840 --> 00:00:51.520
show back on.
7
00:00:52.560 --> 00:00:55.719
If only we knew where the human heart was, because
8
00:00:55.719 --> 00:00:57.640
of course, all humans are different.
9
00:01:00.719 --> 00:01:03.840
I still stand by. I think it's probably actually the
10
00:01:03.880 --> 00:01:06.319
best joke, and it sucks because it's not Tina Fa
11
00:01:06.480 --> 00:01:10.280
and it's also amazing because it is Tracy Morgan. I
12
00:01:10.319 --> 00:01:13.799
finally understand the end of the sixth sense. The name
13
00:01:15.400 --> 00:01:18.120
at the bottom of the names scrolling at the end
14
00:01:18.159 --> 00:01:20.200
of the movie are the people who worked on the movie.
15
00:01:20.319 --> 00:01:20.799
The movie.
16
00:01:21.040 --> 00:01:26.079
Yes, I butchered that so bad, My bad. I'm sorry,
17
00:01:26.120 --> 00:01:30.519
Tracy Morgan. Those names are the people who worked on
18
00:01:30.560 --> 00:01:30.959
the movie.
19
00:01:32.840 --> 00:01:35.680
Chiman is just one of my favorite television characters of
20
00:01:35.719 --> 00:01:40.560
all time. I watched a few episodes of thirty Rock
21
00:01:41.000 --> 00:01:44.840
just the other day at work, and the flu vaccine
22
00:01:44.879 --> 00:01:47.760
episode was one of them, and you.
23
00:01:47.719 --> 00:01:49.879
Could have mentioned every episode I would have made.
24
00:01:49.760 --> 00:01:56.480
That when he goes which Tita asks him not to
25
00:01:56.560 --> 00:01:59.359
tell anyone she gets the vaccine, and he looks her
26
00:01:59.480 --> 00:02:05.640
dead eyes and he goes, I believe doctor patient confidentiality.
27
00:02:04.400 --> 00:02:05.200
Goes both ways.
28
00:02:05.359 --> 00:02:06.840
I'm cheating on my wife.
29
00:02:10.120 --> 00:02:11.560
Chris Parnell. Chris Parnell.
30
00:02:12.599 --> 00:02:19.360
Parnell has this amazing ability to make anything he fucking
31
00:02:19.560 --> 00:02:20.919
says hilarious.
32
00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:29.240
During the SNL fifty, the Music Night, they you know how,
33
00:02:29.240 --> 00:02:30.960
they came out and they did a little bit of
34
00:02:31.039 --> 00:02:34.080
Lazy Sunday. They told him, all right, at the end
35
00:02:34.120 --> 00:02:38.280
of this bit, you're gonna yell out mustard. And Chris
36
00:02:38.280 --> 00:02:42.520
Parnell doesn't know what that means at all, but absolutely,
37
00:02:42.800 --> 00:02:45.879
you just tell Chris Parnell to yell out mustard and
38
00:02:45.960 --> 00:02:49.439
he's gonna do it the best way possible, and he's.
39
00:02:49.319 --> 00:02:51.639
Gonna do it in an amazing way. And he did.
40
00:02:52.360 --> 00:02:53.360
God bloss shp for that.
41
00:02:54.960 --> 00:03:00.360
I love Chris Parnell. People who work like it's like
42
00:03:00.400 --> 00:03:05.159
a there's it's such a great show and it just
43
00:03:05.199 --> 00:03:11.719
has thirty rock. Yes, God, how are you men?
44
00:03:12.400 --> 00:03:13.159
I'm doing great?
45
00:03:13.159 --> 00:03:18.080
How are you good? Uh dude, I'm gonna get straight
46
00:03:18.080 --> 00:03:22.680
into it. I saw Franken sign in theater. It's it
47
00:03:22.719 --> 00:03:24.759
was Germo de Toro I had to go to one
48
00:03:24.759 --> 00:03:29.360
of those what's it called ause. Yeah, it wasn't Alamo
49
00:03:29.439 --> 00:03:32.560
draft House. It was majestic, but it was It was
50
00:03:32.639 --> 00:03:35.919
basically an Alamo draft house and it's not my type
51
00:03:35.960 --> 00:03:38.360
of theater. But I got to talk about the movie
52
00:03:38.360 --> 00:03:40.360
because the movie is fantastic. I only gave it a
53
00:03:40.479 --> 00:03:42.479
nine out of ten or four and a half stars
54
00:03:42.479 --> 00:03:47.639
out of five on my letterbox, but it's I think
55
00:03:47.680 --> 00:03:53.879
it's the most gear Mo movie ever because it involves
56
00:03:53.919 --> 00:03:57.560
something that he's been building to his entire life. Because
57
00:03:58.800 --> 00:04:01.719
I feel like a Pinocchio was like the beginning of
58
00:04:01.759 --> 00:04:07.000
this of this kind of like I think Pinocchio was
59
00:04:07.120 --> 00:04:11.120
on purpose going into Frankenstein because it's basically the same
60
00:04:11.280 --> 00:04:18.160
thing if you think about it. But the creation of
61
00:04:18.480 --> 00:04:26.600
the movie itself and of Victor Frankenstein creating his monster
62
00:04:27.319 --> 00:04:30.519
is just one of it's It's fantastic. The more I
63
00:04:30.519 --> 00:04:32.800
think about it, the more I love it. But I
64
00:04:32.839 --> 00:04:36.079
only have one disconnect with it, and I just I'm
65
00:04:36.160 --> 00:04:39.759
not particularly a fan of Lordi's perform I think he
66
00:04:39.879 --> 00:04:43.759
has some really great moments in the movie, but I
67
00:04:43.800 --> 00:04:50.360
think I was listening to the podcast with with Geral
68
00:04:50.439 --> 00:04:52.879
del Toro and Bradley Cooper and I sent that to
69
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:57.800
you the Director's Guild podcast, and I had completely forgotten
70
00:04:57.800 --> 00:05:04.600
that Andrew Garfield was originally the monster. Sure, and it's
71
00:05:04.879 --> 00:05:11.439
less believable that Victor would create this six' five, behemoth
72
00:05:11.480 --> 00:05:17.279
even though you think of the, monster especially With Boris
73
00:05:17.360 --> 00:05:20.000
karlov where he was significantly. Taller he was portrayed a
74
00:05:20.000 --> 00:05:24.399
little bit. TALLER i think it was probably The, boots
75
00:05:24.439 --> 00:05:30.399
but it. Was it's such a Beautiful gerrimo, movie and
76
00:05:31.120 --> 00:05:35.839
it's mainly a focus On Oscar isaac And Jacob belordi
77
00:05:36.040 --> 00:05:39.319
and it's. Fantastic for like two, hours two and a half,
78
00:05:39.319 --> 00:05:43.199
hours it's. BEAUTIFUL i cannot wait for you to watch.
79
00:05:43.240 --> 00:05:47.720
It, YEAH i plan on watching. It unfortunately it's not
80
00:05:47.839 --> 00:05:49.759
in a theater near, me So i'll just be watching
81
00:05:49.800 --> 00:05:54.279
it On. Netflix but you've got set, up, yeah, Yeah
82
00:05:54.279 --> 00:05:57.519
i've Got dolby atmus and a very nice FOUR k
83
00:05:57.600 --> 00:06:02.160
television AND i think to go around it so it
84
00:06:02.279 --> 00:06:06.680
won't be like being in a, theater but it's as
85
00:06:06.680 --> 00:06:09.319
close As i've, got so that that's what's gonna have to.
86
00:06:09.360 --> 00:06:14.600
Do i'm Just i'm excited For ghermo to tell his
87
00:06:14.800 --> 00:06:19.879
version of basically the story Of. Prometheus, yes, LIKE i
88
00:06:19.920 --> 00:06:24.879
mean That Frankenstein Mary Shelley's frankenstein is just a modern
89
00:06:24.959 --> 00:06:30.279
retelling of the story Of. Prometheus, anyway it's the stealing
90
00:06:30.360 --> 00:06:33.680
of fire to bring to, humanity to Tell, god fuck,
91
00:06:33.759 --> 00:06:37.959
you that's What frankenstein the story. Is so, Like i'm
92
00:06:38.240 --> 00:06:47.600
exceptionally excited to see What, Germals germo's visual concepts and
93
00:06:47.720 --> 00:06:53.360
just camera work and overall just cinematography bring to this.
94
00:06:53.560 --> 00:06:59.519
Story i'm excited to see what he makes nineteenth cent
95
00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:05.879
eighteenth century look. Like it's you, Know i'm a Huge
96
00:07:05.879 --> 00:07:09.439
Oscar isaac, fan SO i, think, uh seeing him in
97
00:07:09.480 --> 00:07:13.279
the titular role Of Victor frankenstein makes makes a lot of.
98
00:07:13.279 --> 00:07:17.319
SENSE i, Think, UH i think he's a pretty fantastic
99
00:07:17.360 --> 00:07:20.519
actor in, general AND i think he's going to bring
100
00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:24.279
something interesting to the. Role but we Get mia goth
101
00:07:24.319 --> 00:07:29.160
And Christoph waltz as, well which Which i'm sold they're.
102
00:07:29.199 --> 00:07:35.000
FANTASTIC i, Mean Mia goth is you understand the, monster
103
00:07:35.120 --> 00:07:42.560
and because she has just this air about, her she
104
00:07:42.720 --> 00:07:46.639
has she she's almost LIKE i feel LIKE i use
105
00:07:46.720 --> 00:07:49.480
this word a, bit but she has something ethereal to.
106
00:07:49.600 --> 00:07:54.800
Her she's Like Tilda. Swinton she's like the voice of
107
00:07:55.720 --> 00:08:02.160
THIS i Believe swedish Artist Aurora she she has something
108
00:08:02.199 --> 00:08:05.600
about her that you can't really quite, explain but it's.
109
00:08:05.639 --> 00:08:12.199
It it's she's she's. Great oh, MAN i don't know
110
00:08:12.240 --> 00:08:15.959
IF i don't think anybody Knew David bradley's in this.
111
00:08:16.079 --> 00:08:22.399
Movie and that's Where Jacob belordi is the best during the.
112
00:08:22.439 --> 00:08:27.360
Movie but it's a LIKE i, SAID i can't wait
113
00:08:27.439 --> 00:08:29.439
for you to watch, It like you have like such
114
00:08:29.519 --> 00:08:34.639
a beautiful setup THAT i think you're not gonna miss a.
115
00:08:34.759 --> 00:08:37.000
TIME i mean you you're you're obviously gonna miss a little.
116
00:08:37.000 --> 00:08:44.799
Bit but, HONESTLY i It's i've had to like he's
117
00:08:44.799 --> 00:08:46.759
the lot of the one of the few directors THAT
118
00:08:46.799 --> 00:08:52.559
i truly. Like i'll make it special occasion to go
119
00:08:52.600 --> 00:08:54.559
see his movies BECAUSE i had to go see it
120
00:08:54.559 --> 00:08:56.679
With shape Of water as, well BECAUSE i was not
121
00:08:56.799 --> 00:08:59.399
playing at like a local, theater BECAUSE i don't, know
122
00:08:59.440 --> 00:09:04.039
it's just a little too niche at the. Time but,
123
00:09:04.600 --> 00:09:08.879
yeah HE'S i, mean he's been my favorite for a
124
00:09:08.919 --> 00:09:11.799
long time since SINCE i saw Hell boy TWO.
125
00:09:12.679 --> 00:09:19.120
Mm So i'm Just i'm excited to see the. Film
126
00:09:19.919 --> 00:09:21.440
most Definitely.
127
00:09:22.600 --> 00:09:24.919
Oscar. Isaac you're, yeah, YEAH i.
128
00:09:24.840 --> 00:09:28.679
Mean Oscar isaac is just. Amazing he's my. Hero he
129
00:09:28.840 --> 00:09:33.840
basically Told disney stop being a bunch of douchebags and supporting,
130
00:09:33.879 --> 00:09:38.360
fascism which is why he is not really wanting to
131
00:09:38.399 --> 00:09:42.279
work With disney right. Now said that on the record
132
00:09:42.519 --> 00:09:47.600
in an interview this last. Week so, uh very very
133
00:09:48.480 --> 00:09:52.399
excited to See Oscar. Isaac as LIKE i Said Victor,
134
00:09:52.559 --> 00:09:55.960
Frankenstein i'm you, KNOW i haven't even seen the, movie
135
00:09:55.960 --> 00:09:58.519
and my biggest thing going into it is the Whole
136
00:09:58.600 --> 00:10:03.440
Jacob allardi of. IT i think this would have again
137
00:10:03.519 --> 00:10:06.480
without seeing, it this would obviously have been a better
138
00:10:06.519 --> 00:10:10.200
movie With Andrew garfield in, it in my, opinion BECAUSE
139
00:10:10.320 --> 00:10:13.720
i think he is a fantastic. ACTOR i think he's
140
00:10:13.759 --> 00:10:18.360
brilliant in. Fact But i'll Give Jacob balardi a. Chance
141
00:10:18.960 --> 00:10:21.639
my guess would be that he's one of the few
142
00:10:21.679 --> 00:10:25.159
weak links of the, movie if, there if there are, ANY.
143
00:10:27.080 --> 00:10:29.720
I wouldn't even tall a weak. Link it's JUST i
144
00:10:29.879 --> 00:10:36.200
DON'T i don't see him creating, something so, LIKE i
145
00:10:36.200 --> 00:10:40.360
don't see him creating that because that doesn't like in
146
00:10:40.440 --> 00:10:44.360
the way it it's hard to. DESCRIBE i think it's
147
00:10:44.399 --> 00:10:49.279
obviously a truly artistic choice with everything about, him but
148
00:10:49.440 --> 00:10:53.799
with he he had to change the way he had
149
00:10:54.159 --> 00:10:57.080
he moved because, obviously like he's almost this kind of,
150
00:10:57.080 --> 00:11:03.759
newborn but he becomes the like obviously the Way Mary
151
00:11:03.799 --> 00:11:08.440
shelley wrote, it he is obviously he's the. Victim but
152
00:11:08.720 --> 00:11:13.120
and he is truly the victim in this movie because
153
00:11:15.080 --> 00:11:18.039
And victor is just the worst father, technically like he
154
00:11:18.080 --> 00:11:22.519
had the the movie goes through it and it's a
155
00:11:22.519 --> 00:11:29.559
a truly like a really great father son tale over many.
156
00:11:29.639 --> 00:11:33.840
Generations And Oscar isaac is so.
157
00:11:33.960 --> 00:11:39.360
Great, yeah, yeah look forward to. It LIKE i, Said
158
00:11:39.480 --> 00:11:41.039
i'll probably be watching it this.
159
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:47.639
Weekend, yeah so what else did you? Watch? Oh Predator
160
00:11:47.639 --> 00:11:50.240
Bad lends is. GREAT i can also can't wait for
161
00:11:50.279 --> 00:11:52.759
you to see. That it's it's a it's a buddy
162
00:11:52.759 --> 00:11:57.759
comedy that's with some of the best action like sequences
163
00:11:57.799 --> 00:12:00.399
like you're gonna find in a in a movie like
164
00:12:00.480 --> 00:12:07.200
it opens like directly with a predator battle and it
165
00:12:07.240 --> 00:12:10.320
doesn't really lead up throughout the entire. Movie there's a
166
00:12:10.360 --> 00:12:14.279
lot of like exposition dumps to set up for the
167
00:12:14.399 --> 00:12:18.360
end of the. Movie but if you're just, in if
168
00:12:18.399 --> 00:12:23.039
you go there for an action like. MOVIE i guess
169
00:12:23.840 --> 00:12:28.519
with with L, fanning you're getting exactly what you're what you.
170
00:12:28.559 --> 00:12:30.720
WANT i think it's a, great really fun. Movie it's
171
00:12:30.720 --> 00:12:36.159
ACTUALLY i would probably say it's my third favorite in the.
172
00:12:36.159 --> 00:12:42.240
Franchise i'd probably Say Pray. NO i guess, Yeah i'm
173
00:12:42.240 --> 00:12:45.879
gonna even put it above the Original. Predator i'm gonna
174
00:12:45.919 --> 00:12:49.679
say Pray killer Of, killers Bad Lands.
175
00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:55.360
PREDATOR i Rewatched predator this week. Already it's a good
176
00:12:55.399 --> 00:13:01.679
movie in preparation for Bad. Lands and, man it is
177
00:13:01.720 --> 00:13:04.759
the most eighties movie that has ever Been eighties.
178
00:13:04.440 --> 00:13:07.240
The beginning of it, Especially, YEAH.
179
00:13:08.639 --> 00:13:12.600
I mean you son of a. Bitch, uh it's don't
180
00:13:12.600 --> 00:13:13.559
they kill like so many?
181
00:13:13.600 --> 00:13:15.240
People so man at the.
182
00:13:15.279 --> 00:13:24.799
Beginning, Yeah and there are just so many eighties icons
183
00:13:24.840 --> 00:13:33.799
in the. Film the, Body Jesse, Arnold carl Freaking Bill duke's,
184
00:13:33.840 --> 00:13:38.399
There Shane black is an actual, character not just your. Skin,
185
00:13:39.440 --> 00:13:46.360
yeah it's just it's. Insane And Stan winston did all the,
186
00:13:45.519 --> 00:13:51.200
work the creature, effects and like the movie was made
187
00:13:51.279 --> 00:13:56.360
for fifteen million, dollars which in eighty seven was like
188
00:13:56.840 --> 00:14:01.399
twenty twenty five. Dollars that's probably like five million dollars
189
00:14:01.480 --> 00:14:05.639
at this. Point, uh but like What Stan winston was.
190
00:14:05.600 --> 00:14:10.000
Able to do with that, costume with with.
191
00:14:10.039 --> 00:14:16.279
The costume for The predator, itself and, yeah well, yeah
192
00:14:16.320 --> 00:14:21.039
and it's it's. Iconic, like, yeah it's. ICONIC i mean
193
00:14:21.080 --> 00:14:25.360
we've seen it on. Screen let's hear, one, two, three, four, five, six,
194
00:14:26.440 --> 00:14:29.559
seven eight nine times minimum.
195
00:14:29.519 --> 00:14:30.639
At least in.
196
00:14:30.759 --> 00:14:38.360
Movies SO i, like it's it's an iconic. Monster. Yeah
197
00:14:38.399 --> 00:14:41.799
and the fact that we're getting we're getting such an
198
00:14:41.960 --> 00:14:49.960
array of predator movies and different types of, predators like
199
00:14:50.200 --> 00:14:53.679
that's really. Cool like What dan Trackted berg's doing is
200
00:14:53.679 --> 00:14:59.639
is awesome because, yes he's world building and each installment
201
00:14:59.679 --> 00:15:03.480
build off of the previous. One but you don't have
202
00:15:03.559 --> 00:15:08.360
to have an intimate knowledge of the predator lore to
203
00:15:08.519 --> 00:15:10.960
go to these movies and be like that was a
204
00:15:11.159 --> 00:15:17.240
damn good action. Thriller, Yeah like you don't have to
205
00:15:17.320 --> 00:15:21.440
have Seen prey to understand Bad.
206
00:15:21.519 --> 00:15:24.080
Lands, no you don't have to have seen it to
207
00:15:24.200 --> 00:15:25.120
Understand killer Of.
208
00:15:25.200 --> 00:15:28.039
Killers you don't have to have you don't even have
209
00:15:28.039 --> 00:15:31.200
to have seen nineteen eighty Seven's predator to understand any of,
210
00:15:31.240 --> 00:15:38.559
it WHICH i THINK i think knowing the lore enhances your, Experience,
211
00:15:39.360 --> 00:15:41.679
yes but the fact that it's not necessary is pretty,
212
00:15:41.720 --> 00:15:43.240
cool and it's still.
213
00:15:43.320 --> 00:15:47.559
Cohesive AND i love how they have just fully integrated
214
00:15:47.879 --> 00:15:52.840
The alien universe as. Well it's just one thing now Whalen.
215
00:15:53.000 --> 00:15:54.440
Utani it fully.
216
00:15:54.200 --> 00:15:56.080
Exists fully exists in The predator.
217
00:15:56.200 --> 00:15:58.720
Universe, yeah SO i love. That, yeah THOUGH i don't
218
00:15:58.720 --> 00:16:05.759
Think alien movies or anything has referenced The, yacha so not.
219
00:16:06.120 --> 00:16:08.919
KNOWLEDGE i think it's a one way street right, now.
220
00:16:08.879 --> 00:16:12.080
Would Not it would not surprise me if in the
221
00:16:12.120 --> 00:16:16.559
future it. Does, yeah BECAUSE i don't need Though, PREDATOR
222
00:16:16.679 --> 00:16:19.039
i don't need. It But predator has always been the
223
00:16:19.080 --> 00:16:24.200
redheaded stepchild of those two. Movies, yeah Like alien Is
224
00:16:24.200 --> 00:16:28.080
is is the big? Brother, Yeah Alien is is the
225
00:16:29.440 --> 00:16:31.000
this brings in the, Money.
226
00:16:31.159 --> 00:16:35.600
Yeah predators for the. Sickos, Yeah, predators well it was
227
00:16:35.919 --> 00:16:40.840
it was. Now Dan trackenberg has really done a really
228
00:16:40.840 --> 00:16:43.559
great job because he's handling it with like true love and.
229
00:16:43.639 --> 00:16:46.559
Care he's not like this isn't like his second thing
230
00:16:46.639 --> 00:16:50.240
that he's working. On he's working On. Predator, uh and
231
00:16:50.679 --> 00:16:53.159
he's making. It like who would have thought of all
232
00:16:53.279 --> 00:16:56.759
the movies from the from the eighties That predator would
233
00:16:56.759 --> 00:16:59.919
be the one that after like a series of cup
234
00:17:00.440 --> 00:17:05.119
pretty bad. Movies. Missus JUST i Like Alien Versus. Predator
235
00:17:05.319 --> 00:17:09.759
Alien Versus Predator requiem isn't, great but it's fun and. Stupid,
236
00:17:10.240 --> 00:17:11.359
uh it's fun and.
237
00:17:11.359 --> 00:17:14.279
Stupid you are. CORRECT i thought the biggest miss Was
238
00:17:14.319 --> 00:17:18.240
The predator in twenty. EIGHTEEN i did not enjoy it
239
00:17:18.279 --> 00:17:20.759
With Adrian. Brody it was not.
240
00:17:20.839 --> 00:17:23.640
Good, well, no, ACTUALLY i was gonna Say. PREDATORS i
241
00:17:23.680 --> 00:17:28.519
didn't hate. That that's the one With Adrian. Brody, yeah
242
00:17:28.559 --> 00:17:34.559
The predator Is Boyd. Holbrook, yes which it's. Not it's
243
00:17:34.559 --> 00:17:37.480
not any of their, problems it's the it was the
244
00:17:37.519 --> 00:17:39.519
way the movie was. Written it was written for like
245
00:17:39.559 --> 00:17:43.160
an ensemble of like six or Seven patty, People kei
246
00:17:43.240 --> 00:17:44.359
And Michael key was in. It.
247
00:17:44.599 --> 00:17:47.279
Yeah predators was, fine that's. Right that was twenty. Ten
248
00:17:47.599 --> 00:17:51.640
The predator was twenty, eighteen and it was just not.
249
00:17:51.720 --> 00:17:53.599
Good it was just it was a little too, goofy
250
00:17:53.680 --> 00:17:58.920
too like they the one And Michael key the Giant predator.
251
00:17:58.960 --> 00:18:06.440
DOGS i hated even whenever one got. Lobottomized that didn't enjoy.
252
00:18:06.480 --> 00:18:10.119
It just it was A Shane black. Movie it wasn't
253
00:18:10.160 --> 00:18:10.920
A predator.
254
00:18:11.039 --> 00:18:15.920
Movie, yeah there's some fun stuff in, it but it's
255
00:18:15.960 --> 00:18:17.759
just it. Didn't it did not get.
256
00:18:17.799 --> 00:18:25.039
Me, yeah but, yeah So i'm definitely excited to see
257
00:18:25.039 --> 00:18:27.920
the film. AGAIN i have a week off next week
258
00:18:28.039 --> 00:18:31.319
finally with like nothing THAT i have to, do So
259
00:18:31.359 --> 00:18:33.880
i'm gonna go see like four movies in theaters next.
260
00:18:33.880 --> 00:18:37.759
Week fanning is fantastic by the, way She's fanning's always.
261
00:18:37.759 --> 00:18:43.240
Fantastic but it's a. Delight, okay she always.
262
00:18:43.279 --> 00:18:48.200
Is but, yeah so so two definite recommendations from you.
263
00:18:48.400 --> 00:18:57.559
Strong ah, yeah WE I i think we're getting some good,
264
00:18:57.640 --> 00:18:58.240
movies which is.
265
00:18:58.319 --> 00:19:01.759
Nice five turning out to be a pretty good year of. Movies,
266
00:19:01.920 --> 00:19:03.359
yeah pretty. Good your solid.
267
00:19:03.480 --> 00:19:06.079
Year it's a Solid, yeah it's not like ninety three
268
00:19:06.200 --> 00:19:06.960
or ninety eight.
269
00:19:07.039 --> 00:19:10.200
GOOD i don't think anything was going to hit those like, those.
270
00:19:11.319 --> 00:19:13.079
But it's still really fucking.
271
00:19:13.119 --> 00:19:15.599
Good wait did you see did you see that? ONE
272
00:19:16.480 --> 00:19:20.680
i think that uh the what was that podcast That
273
00:19:20.920 --> 00:19:22.960
Glenn powell was on that you referenced last.
274
00:19:22.720 --> 00:19:24.559
Week with oh The rewatchables The?
275
00:19:24.599 --> 00:19:28.720
Rewatchables he mentioned like a certain year of a movie
276
00:19:28.960 --> 00:19:32.160
like this was and he for, horror he was Like.
277
00:19:32.319 --> 00:19:34.839
Halloween h. SHUE i was, like, yeah you don't fucking
278
00:19:34.920 --> 00:19:36.319
know shit About dick.
279
00:19:39.119 --> 00:19:39.960
Terrible, though it's not.
280
00:19:40.079 --> 00:19:43.279
Good issue is not. Good it's not.
281
00:19:43.480 --> 00:19:46.759
Good it's better than the return Of Michael. Myers.
282
00:19:47.440 --> 00:19:51.480
Nick almost everything after three is not. GOOD i JUST.
283
00:19:51.720 --> 00:19:58.160
I just say it's at least, watchable unlike, four which was.
284
00:19:58.240 --> 00:20:02.160
Unwatchable, yeah the return Of Michael, myers, right it's so. Bad,
285
00:20:02.480 --> 00:20:05.160
Yeah season The witch is. Fun it's, stupid but it's.
286
00:20:05.240 --> 00:20:08.440
Fun it's, stupid and you just cannot listen to that.
287
00:20:08.559 --> 00:20:13.480
Song i'm not gonna put it in my. Head but it.
288
00:20:13.480 --> 00:20:16.039
Still doesn't have the greatest death scene in A halloween,
289
00:20:16.079 --> 00:20:19.799
movie being the one that he, mentioned the random seventeen
290
00:20:19.880 --> 00:20:22.519
year old getting run over by the, car shot by
291
00:20:22.559 --> 00:20:23.119
cops and then.
292
00:20:23.240 --> 00:20:27.480
Exploded, DUDE i completely forgot how violent it.
293
00:20:27.599 --> 00:20:35.119
Got so, violent, guy, Impact it Is loomis's fault of
294
00:20:35.160 --> 00:20:39.240
the person on the car and the person hitting the
295
00:20:39.279 --> 00:20:42.000
truck the, van, yeah the van or whatever it.
296
00:20:42.039 --> 00:20:45.039
Was flosion and then the. Gunshots it was so.
297
00:20:45.200 --> 00:20:49.599
Much got to make sure he was. Dead you got
298
00:20:49.599 --> 00:20:50.160
to Kill Michael.
299
00:20:50.200 --> 00:20:57.400
Myers but, Yeah i'm excited to end the year Like
300
00:20:58.160 --> 00:21:00.960

306
00:21:23.279 --> 00:21:26.160
SO i can see the three trailers leading into.
307
00:21:26.200 --> 00:21:27.039

just enjoying three hours of fire And. Ash it's gonna
318
00:22:04.960 --> 00:22:08.599
Be it's gonna be. Awesome. Man, UH i.
319
00:22:08.599 --> 00:22:10.319
Will muscle my way through.
320
00:22:10.319 --> 00:22:14.599
It i'm. Sure uh should Rewatch The way Of water Before.
321

322
00:22:18.599 --> 00:22:19.400
tried to, Watch.
323
00:22:19.480 --> 00:22:24.880
You've, watched it's never attempted to watch the second. One
324
00:22:25.039 --> 00:22:28.960
you just have to just LIKE i tell people this
325
00:22:29.039 --> 00:22:31.359
all the, time like with this, movie you just kind
326
00:22:31.359 --> 00:22:34.319
of have to accept it as it, Is like you it's.
327
00:22:34.799 --> 00:22:38.599
Ridiculous and yes it's Fern, gully but it's Also Zoe's
328
00:22:38.599 --> 00:22:45.079
sodonia And Sam worthington flirting for three.
329
00:22:45.119 --> 00:22:48.640
Hours you're really not selling this for.
330
00:22:48.839 --> 00:22:53.759
Me But zoe So donia is like The Zoe's sodania's the.
331
00:22:53.839 --> 00:22:57.720
Cell she's she's less than the second. Movie but that
332
00:22:57.759 --> 00:23:02.759
one's just that one's just visually just fucking. Awesome the
333
00:23:02.799 --> 00:23:06.440
second one's more more visually great than the.
334
00:23:06.440 --> 00:23:08.720
First James, cameron the man knows how to shoot a,
335
00:23:08.720 --> 00:23:09.279
movie that's for.
336
00:23:09.319 --> 00:23:14.759
Sure it's oh, MAN I i was even, thinking IF
337
00:23:16.160 --> 00:23:17.799
i was even, thinking IF A way Of water is
338
00:23:17.839 --> 00:23:21.119
still in, THEATER i might see it, again, Man like it's.
339
00:23:21.160 --> 00:23:22.400
Fantastic Uh.
340
00:23:24.440 --> 00:23:28.039
Uh one of the other things THAT i watched since
341
00:23:28.079 --> 00:23:32.559
now we are past Your frankenstein review at Bad Lands,
342
00:23:32.559 --> 00:23:36.079

day SO.
346
00:23:43.359 --> 00:23:51.039
I am incredibly. Intrigued, YEAH i, Mean Vince gilligan's awesome. Anyway,
347
00:23:51.160 --> 00:23:54.319
LIKE i wasn't a huge breaking bad, guy BUT i
348
00:23:54.400 --> 00:23:59.039
was a huge fan Of Better Called. Saul, yeah mainly.
349
00:23:58.880 --> 00:24:01.559
Because Odin kirk is just it's, fantastic.
350
00:24:01.440 --> 00:24:06.559
An amazing human. Being but this is this post apocalyptic
351
00:24:06.799 --> 00:24:13.160
sci fi thriller that just has me, engulfed like enthralled
352
00:24:13.200 --> 00:24:17.880
in the first two. Episodes it Stars rhea See horn
353
00:24:18.880 --> 00:24:22.799
who was From Better Call, saul and she is one
354
00:24:22.839 --> 00:24:33.759
of thirteen people that's not affected by an extraterrestrial viral
355
00:24:33.839 --> 00:24:39.559
outbreak that creates a hive mind across the. World. Interesting,
356
00:24:39.599 --> 00:24:47.880
yeah it's super freakin'. Cool, so, LIKE i definitely recommend.
357
00:24:47.880 --> 00:24:54.400
It it. Is it is an intriguing. Show And APPLE,
358
00:24:54.440 --> 00:24:56.519
tv like you AND i have talked about this, Before
359
00:24:57.079 --> 00:25:00.240
APPLE tv just kind of has been knocking it out
360
00:25:00.240 --> 00:25:01.920
of the park with with.
361
00:25:02.079 --> 00:25:06.599
Shows, well it's because they don't have too, many, no
362
00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:11.759
and what the ones that they do put in usually
363
00:25:11.799 --> 00:25:13.200
have a lot of money put into.
364
00:25:13.240 --> 00:25:16.640
It well not only, that but they have great creative
365
00:25:16.680 --> 00:25:17.799
teams behind.
366
00:25:17.480 --> 00:25:20.680
Them and they were usually like single like. Teams they're
367
00:25:20.720 --> 00:25:25.960
like some like it's a person's. Project. Yeah SO i was.
368
00:25:25.960 --> 00:25:36.640
Actually the studio Ted Lasso Shrinking. Platonic, yeah what else is?
369
00:25:36.680 --> 00:25:38.759
There the foundation is.
370
00:25:38.839 --> 00:25:42.720
Good there were C i know there there was.
371
00:25:43.000 --> 00:25:45.400
C it Was, okay it was, okay that was like
372
00:25:45.440 --> 00:25:48.079
my only like kind of miss The Morning.
373
00:25:48.119 --> 00:25:55.240
Show The Morning shows, There Uh, Monarch, yes oh, dude second.
374
00:25:55.279 --> 00:25:56.839
Season it has to be coming.
375
00:25:56.880 --> 00:26:01.000
Soon, yeah it has to be coming. Soon man for
376
00:26:01.079 --> 00:26:02.279
all mankind is really.
377
00:26:02.319 --> 00:26:04.440
Good LIKE i Think i've been hearing.
378
00:26:04.440 --> 00:26:06.720
That, YEAH i think it is wildly.
379
00:26:06.839 --> 00:26:10.480
OVERLOOKED i tried Watching The Great Big door or whatever it, was,
380
00:26:10.759 --> 00:26:14.640
uh That chris Of dowd. SHOW i just, YEAH i
381
00:26:14.720 --> 00:26:17.240
never went, back AND i feel. BAD i felt bad
382
00:26:17.920 --> 00:26:21.240
BECAUSE i LOVE. Chrisa, dowd BUT i think he was
383
00:26:21.319 --> 00:26:25.680
just like he. Was he didn't have a greater calling
384
00:26:27.000 --> 00:26:29.880
and which really sucked for. Him and it was just
385
00:26:29.960 --> 00:26:31.240
kind of a mythic.
386
00:26:31.319 --> 00:26:34.920
Quest we didn't bring a mythic. Quest, yeah, Dude.
387
00:26:35.440 --> 00:26:41.000
I'm GONNA i miss methic. Quest. Yeah so he was
388
00:26:41.000 --> 00:26:41.480
such a great.
389
00:26:41.519 --> 00:26:46.599
Character if if If apple's coming out with a, show
390
00:26:46.960 --> 00:26:50.200
it's probably there's there's a good chance that it's gonna
391
00:26:50.279 --> 00:26:51.319
at least be. Good.
392
00:26:51.640 --> 00:26:53.440
YEAH i was actually, thinking.
393
00:26:53.279 --> 00:26:54.920
Whenever you pretty good chance it's gonna be.
394
00:26:55.000 --> 00:26:58.000
Fantastic, yeah whenever you brought it. Up whenever you brought
395
00:26:58.039 --> 00:27:01.720
Up Vince. GILLIGAN i can't remember which writer it was
396
00:27:01.799 --> 00:27:06.880
it was Either Skyler hickley or somebody. Else Vince giligan
397
00:27:07.000 --> 00:27:11.680
pitching a. Show, okay so it's set In New. Mexico, yeah,
398
00:27:12.079 --> 00:27:19.400
yep time okay and this week also at the box. Office,
399
00:27:19.599 --> 00:27:21.759
wow you actually had a little bit.
400
00:27:21.759 --> 00:27:28.039
More. Yeah so we have a movie that reaped wide
401
00:27:28.039 --> 00:27:34.400
release over two thousand, theaters Starring Sydney. Sweeney that is
402
00:27:34.440 --> 00:27:42.440
the third biggest flop in the history of movies. Releasing
403
00:27:44.799 --> 00:27:48.200
this is not because this is accounting for the, pandemic
404
00:27:48.279 --> 00:27:53.880
mind you LIKE i thanks To Cinema joe On TikTok
405
00:27:54.240 --> 00:27:57.599
for bringing the story across and all the. Information if
406
00:27:57.640 --> 00:28:01.599
you take out the movies that were release in twenty
407
00:28:01.680 --> 00:28:07.079
twenty after the world shut, down this is number three
408
00:28:07.400 --> 00:28:10.240
on the, list behind two MOVIES i had never heard.
409
00:28:10.039 --> 00:28:12.839
Of Boogie. Loves how did this get?
410
00:28:12.880 --> 00:28:13.440
Made as an?
411
00:28:13.440 --> 00:28:16.920
Episode? Yeah how did this get? Made had done an?
412
00:28:16.960 --> 00:28:19.680
Episode a live episode of. THAT i don't think it's
413
00:28:19.720 --> 00:28:20.400
ever come out.
414
00:28:20.480 --> 00:28:28.960
Yet, yeah BUT i believe the movie is Called Chrissy Christy, Christy.
415
00:28:29.279 --> 00:28:36.160
Yes it's about it's an. Autobiographer let's all about a.
416
00:28:36.279 --> 00:28:39.680
BOXER i cannot remember, her but she was kind of
417
00:28:40.039 --> 00:28:45.440
sexualized by the media pretty, early especially for the. Sport
418
00:28:46.039 --> 00:28:49.400
and obviously there's a lot more that there that went into.
419
00:28:49.440 --> 00:28:59.160
IT i believe trigger warning sexual abuse from a spousal domestic.
420
00:28:59.240 --> 00:29:05.519
Violence and the movie. Flopped and it's not because the movie's.
421
00:29:05.599 --> 00:29:07.200
Bad i've, Heard actually it's not.
422
00:29:07.359 --> 00:29:13.160
Bad, yeah it made again over two thousand. Theaters it
423
00:29:13.240 --> 00:29:15.839
made six hundred and forty seven dollars per.
424
00:29:15.920 --> 00:29:20.440
Theater, yeah about one point two, million, RIGHT i.
425
00:29:20.359 --> 00:29:23.000
Mean it was. LOW i can't remember the exact.
426
00:29:23.119 --> 00:29:26.079
Numbers, Yeah and it's like a lot of it has
427
00:29:26.160 --> 00:29:30.240
to do with interviews that have happened in, well especially
428
00:29:30.319 --> 00:29:33.680
since the The what was a gap Or American eagle
429
00:29:33.799 --> 00:29:36.599
Or American. Eagle, yeah it was those ads and they're
430
00:29:36.680 --> 00:29:41.359
obviously there became a great conspiracy about, that and you
431
00:29:41.359 --> 00:29:45.200
can choose. Whichever i'm not going to argue with anybody on,
432
00:29:45.240 --> 00:29:48.920
that but that became a giant discourse a couple of
433
00:29:49.000 --> 00:29:55.119
months ago near the beginning of the. Year and she
434
00:29:55.240 --> 00:30:01.400
more recently did another interview WHERE I polte was she
435
00:30:01.519 --> 00:30:04.599
asked about she was asked about.
436
00:30:04.400 --> 00:30:10.279
White supremacist and she refused to like say anything bad
437
00:30:10.319 --> 00:30:11.359
about them or denounce.
438
00:30:11.440 --> 00:30:14.240
Them, yeah so THAT i wasn't sure IF i was
439
00:30:14.319 --> 00:30:17.880
reading like, correct like if that was fake or or. Not,
440
00:30:18.559 --> 00:30:23.240
yeah but that word kind of. TRAVELS i mean that
441
00:30:23.480 --> 00:30:27.519
when you don't denounce something like, that it's it's it's
442
00:30:27.559 --> 00:30:32.039
more of a Real, uh that's more of an answer
443
00:30:32.079 --> 00:30:37.480
than giving a fake. One SO i don't know what
444
00:30:37.880 --> 00:30:39.640
are your thoughts, on BECAUSE i mean, THAT.
445
00:30:40.359 --> 00:30:43.119
I the movie's, Good i'll watch, it don't get me,
446
00:30:43.160 --> 00:30:46.839
wrong but, like this is a pretty damning thing on
447
00:30:46.880 --> 00:30:54.000
somebody who is pretty present in our current you, Know. Hollywood,
448
00:30:54.519 --> 00:31:00.559
yes output you, know everybody has a. Flop, yeah there
449
00:31:00.640 --> 00:31:02.960
there is not a single Like Tom cruise has had a.
450
00:31:03.000 --> 00:31:05.680
Flop Tom hanks has had a. Flop, yeah you, Know
451
00:31:06.519 --> 00:31:08.720
Denzel washington has had a. Flop these are you, know
452
00:31:08.759 --> 00:31:11.000
some of the greatest actors of our. Time Julia roberts
453
00:31:11.039 --> 00:31:16.480
has had a, flop you, know but this is this
454
00:31:16.559 --> 00:31:21.799
is unlike any of their. Flops, like this is one
455
00:31:21.799 --> 00:31:23.920
of the worst openings in the history of.
456
00:31:24.160 --> 00:31:28.680
Movies, well there's also that Movie Sarah's oil and what's his,
457
00:31:28.759 --> 00:31:32.119
Name Zachary levi's in that and that movie's not doing very.
458
00:31:32.160 --> 00:31:36.200
Well and he had recently come out and Said i'm gray,
459
00:31:36.279 --> 00:31:39.279
Listed like he's not, blacklisted but he has. Friends zood'll
460
00:31:39.319 --> 00:31:44.680
put them in. Stuff but he like he's not getting
461
00:31:45.079 --> 00:31:48.119
opportunities that he thought he was gonna get After, shazam
462
00:31:48.240 --> 00:31:51.920
because obviously we all kind of thought he's got something
463
00:31:51.960 --> 00:31:55.440
to him now and he's gonna Hit and then all
464
00:31:55.480 --> 00:31:57.359
of a, sudden he just started opening his mouth and
465
00:31:57.400 --> 00:32:00.200
then he started supporting.
466
00:32:01.799 --> 00:32:04.519
A, guy and he's an anti vax.
467
00:32:04.640 --> 00:32:10.279
Guy as it turns, out if you're just a bad,
468
00:32:10.440 --> 00:32:17.400
person people, like the movies are not for people with closed.
469
00:32:17.480 --> 00:32:27.720
Minds And i'm we're travels fast, Now so if you're
470
00:32:27.720 --> 00:32:30.720
not a person who people want to, see your movies
471
00:32:30.759 --> 00:32:35.119
aren't gonna do. Well and the studios will eventually maybe.
472
00:32:36.000 --> 00:32:41.960
Listen but also they're being bought by the bad people as. Well,
473
00:32:42.480 --> 00:32:48.200
yeah so who. KNOWS i think cinema will always be
474
00:32:49.799 --> 00:32:54.400
a giant art form of. Protest not only, that but
475
00:32:54.440 --> 00:32:58.759
it's about, representation, yes because people want to.
476
00:32:58.720 --> 00:33:04.039
See themselves in characters on the. Screen as a cis,
477
00:33:04.559 --> 00:33:11.160
white straight, dude LIKE i have enough, Representation LIKE i
478
00:33:11.200 --> 00:33:14.160
want to see the stories of of of lives THAT
479
00:33:14.279 --> 00:33:18.480
i have not. Lived that's why movies Like sinners is
480
00:33:18.599 --> 00:33:21.680
so freaking. Cool to watch like that is not from my,
481
00:33:21.799 --> 00:33:24.640
Perspective that is not from the perspective.
482
00:33:24.200 --> 00:33:26.400
Of of anything you grew up.
483
00:33:26.279 --> 00:33:31.799
On ANYTHING i grew up. With you. Know that's why for.
484
00:33:31.839 --> 00:33:36.000
Me Oh, god go, ahead go ahead for me growing
485
00:33:36.079 --> 00:33:40.839
up LIKE i DIDN'T i mean thinking then like the
486
00:33:40.960 --> 00:33:44.400
nineties and two, thousands were there any Like hispanic like
487
00:33:44.519 --> 00:33:48.759
leading men besides like until Like antonio Benderaz Eddie. GUERRERO
488
00:33:50.680 --> 00:33:54.640
i mean, no not, really not really though it.
489
00:33:55.119 --> 00:33:58.279
Was a, joke but you, know Like antonio benderas like
490
00:33:59.640 --> 00:34:02.519
who's the first leading man of Of?
491
00:34:02.880 --> 00:34:07.160
Latin, yeah and then we we started getting Like Javier
492
00:34:07.160 --> 00:34:11.400
bardem and and uh and who? Else and.
493
00:34:13.239 --> 00:34:15.360
The fact that it's this hard for us to come
494
00:34:15.480 --> 00:34:18.320
up with other men Of latin. Heritage well There's.
495
00:34:18.360 --> 00:34:22.400
John there Was John leguizamo growing, up but he wasn't
496
00:34:22.480 --> 00:34:26.079
he didn't start becoming like kind of like that person
497
00:34:26.119 --> 00:34:28.360
that you see yourself as like uh.
498
00:34:28.440 --> 00:34:29.480
Until, later until.
499
00:34:29.559 --> 00:34:33.840
Later. Yeah but so me growing, up like thinking of
500
00:34:33.920 --> 00:34:37.280
Like halloween, RECENTLY i didn't know who LIKE i, Like
501
00:34:37.360 --> 00:34:41.440
i'm half, white SO i LIKE I I i'm very
502
00:34:41.519 --> 00:34:46.800
much Presenting, Mexican so, UH i didn't know who to
503
00:34:46.920 --> 00:34:50.079
dress up as For. Halloween SO i BECAUSE i didn't
504
00:34:50.159 --> 00:34:52.440
have like somebody up there now like, kids at least
505
00:34:52.440 --> 00:34:54.760
they have like cocoa and you can go, like, UH
506
00:34:54.920 --> 00:34:59.159
i just saw a great costume Of Uh miguel And
507
00:34:59.280 --> 00:35:02.239
uh and his. DAD i can't remember the character's, name
508
00:35:03.719 --> 00:35:06.280
and it was a perfect. COSTUME i was, like that's
509
00:35:06.360 --> 00:35:10.320
perfect for Two hispanic a, moment a dad and a.
510
00:35:10.599 --> 00:35:13.599
KID i was, like they have that, now and you
511
00:35:13.719 --> 00:35:17.440
have like we mentioned, Him Oscar isaac Is. Hispanic HE'S
512
00:35:17.960 --> 00:35:21.639
i can't remember where he's. FROM i believe he's A.
513
00:35:22.840 --> 00:35:27.360
Cuban i'm not, sure to be honest with, YOU i.
514
00:35:27.239 --> 00:35:35.760
Believe Recently guatemala Is, Guatemala guatemala In American so and
515
00:35:35.840 --> 00:35:38.360
but now we also have Like Pedro. Pascal we have
516
00:35:39.159 --> 00:35:47.440
OBVIOUSLY i mentioned Into benicio Del. Toro so now you
517
00:35:47.440 --> 00:35:50.639
you there are. These the thing is you don't actually
518
00:35:50.679 --> 00:35:54.079
think of even Though benicio very much As, hispanic he
519
00:35:54.199 --> 00:35:57.400
doesn't always just come off As. Hispanic he's Just. Benicio
520
00:35:58.199 --> 00:35:58.920
he comes off As.
521
00:35:58.920 --> 00:36:08.199
Benicio but, no, again it's about, representation and like white
522
00:36:08.320 --> 00:36:11.480
dudes have had a we've had a good. Run we
523
00:36:11.679 --> 00:36:14.199
fucked up a lot of. Things we've had centuries to
524
00:36:14.320 --> 00:36:17.360
just fuck the world. Up, so but the thing, IS.
525
00:36:17.360 --> 00:36:20.760
I don't even think of it like that, Really, like
526
00:36:20.840 --> 00:36:27.559
it's not like it's just. MORE i, mean cinema is
527
00:36:27.679 --> 00:36:32.760
just like we it's called the. Masses it's, yeah it's for, everybody.
528
00:36:33.400 --> 00:36:36.480
Everybody like that's why they make movies in every. Country
529
00:36:36.519 --> 00:36:39.239
we don't catch we don't see them all every like
530
00:36:40.000 --> 00:36:43.440
every small town has a kid who wants to make. Movies.
531
00:36:43.960 --> 00:36:50.239
Yeah SO i Just i'm has been a year of
532
00:36:51.920 --> 00:36:54.559
diverse filmmaking AND i do appreciate. That.
533
00:36:54.800 --> 00:37:01.440
Yeah Alien earth is weird and it just got a
534
00:37:01.679 --> 00:37:02.639

535
00:37:02.519 --> 00:37:06.880
Call speaking of diverse. Filmmaking, Dude i'm so.
536
00:37:06.960 --> 00:37:09.119
Excited oh, dude we could have talked about. That they're
537
00:37:09.119 --> 00:37:13.599
in bad. Lands uh but, yeah, yeah it's, Like, GOD
538
00:37:13.639 --> 00:37:17.159
i can't wait for even More Wayland utahi and maybe
539
00:37:17.159 --> 00:37:17.639
we'll get.
540
00:37:17.480 --> 00:37:18.840
A predator reference In Alien.
541
00:37:18.880 --> 00:37:21.800
EARTH i was actually thinking about that earlier WHEN i
542
00:37:21.840 --> 00:37:22.400
was talking about.
543
00:37:22.400 --> 00:37:23.639
It pretty, cool.
544
00:37:23.760 --> 00:37:27.159
Man i'm just thinking of where they ended the, season
545
00:37:27.239 --> 00:37:30.320
WHERE i don't know where they go the next. Season
546
00:37:30.320 --> 00:37:33.760
i'm excited for the next, Season, Clue i'm excited for.
547
00:37:33.840 --> 00:37:35.920
THEM i have no idea where they, go especially with
548
00:37:36.400 --> 00:37:40.000
that THE i don't know what he's what that plan? Is,
549
00:37:40.239 --> 00:37:42.400
no no, clue what? What what are they gonna?
550
00:37:42.440 --> 00:37:45.119
Do that is one of the very terrified fucking.
551
00:37:45.559 --> 00:37:49.119
Monsters well do they leave the? ISLAND i don't know
552
00:37:49.159 --> 00:37:49.519

554
00:37:53.840 --> 00:37:58.760
are ready to fucking roll. Man. Yeah uh. No the
555
00:37:58.800 --> 00:38:01.599
fact that we are getting a second season of this
556
00:38:02.000 --> 00:38:05.880

Awesome every episode is. Great, yeah there was not a bad.
558
00:38:09.880 --> 00:38:12.679

559
00:38:12.840 --> 00:38:15.639

560
00:38:16.239 --> 00:38:19.880
One but, yeah they weren't. Bad, No, no.
561
00:38:21.719 --> 00:38:26.760
So like super fucking excited for. THAT i want to
562
00:38:26.760 --> 00:38:29.000
go Where Noah howley wants to take us.
563
00:38:29.920 --> 00:38:33.519

564
00:38:33.639 --> 00:38:36.079

Of, That, yeah five, SEASONS i, believe.
566
00:38:37.719 --> 00:38:39.920

601
00:41:00.559 --> 00:41:06.480

see any weekly coverage of that at, All OTHERWISE i
617
00:41:54.800 --> 00:41:55.360
would have watched.
618
00:41:55.400 --> 00:41:56.960
It it's kind of it was kind of passed over
619
00:41:59.280 --> 00:42:06.559
big news IN tv, land. Though the eight hundredth episode
620
00:42:06.880 --> 00:42:13.119
of The simpsons premieres In february twenty twenty, six eight hundred.
621
00:42:13.639 --> 00:42:17.159
EPISODES i tried to start, THAT i think during the.
622
00:42:17.159 --> 00:42:18.480
PANDEMIC i didn't get very.
623
00:42:18.480 --> 00:42:23.239
FAR i usually get through the second through fourth seasons
624
00:42:23.960 --> 00:42:25.760
and THEN i just kind of, Go, Okay i've seen the.
625
00:42:25.800 --> 00:42:30.639
Monoreil See i've never seen the. Monorail oh my, GOSH i. Know.
626
00:42:30.760 --> 00:42:33.360

627
00:42:33.599 --> 00:42:36.599
It the world of The. Simpsons Bill, hartman you can
628
00:42:36.760 --> 00:42:37.360
jump into.
629
00:42:37.400 --> 00:42:40.039
Anything Bill hartman's second best character in that.
630
00:42:40.079 --> 00:42:46.280
SHOW i can't remember his OTHER I A. CLARE i
631
00:42:46.360 --> 00:42:48.519
never got into The, simpsons but for some, reason it
632
00:42:48.599 --> 00:42:51.519
was a band show in my. HOUSE i understand.
633
00:42:51.519 --> 00:42:53.559
THAT i get. THAT i used to Watch The simpsons
634
00:42:53.599 --> 00:42:56.400
And married With children back to, back and THEN.
635
00:42:56.440 --> 00:42:59.199
I didn't let my family. KNOW i Watched marriage during
636
00:42:59.239 --> 00:43:00.320
the week Easton.
637
00:43:00.400 --> 00:43:02.719
CAPE i believe it was in primetime everywhere else but
638
00:43:02.840 --> 00:43:07.559
KTS i The fox affiliated And cape always had Uh
639
00:43:07.719 --> 00:43:11.320
Star trek The Next generation on at the ten o'clock
640
00:43:11.360 --> 00:43:14.920
hour for some. Reason so those were my late night
641
00:43:14.960 --> 00:43:17.960
shows growing. Up when my parents.
642
00:43:17.639 --> 00:43:21.760
Were already, asleep SO i would sneak downstairs to Watch
643
00:43:21.840 --> 00:43:24.840
married With, children like with the volume pretty low.
644
00:43:25.880 --> 00:43:28.239
Man show Now.
645
00:43:28.360 --> 00:43:31.199
Oh, yeah ACTUALLY i do know why so?
646
00:43:31.440 --> 00:43:35.599
Problematic, yeah but, MAN.
647
00:43:35.480 --> 00:43:37.880
I would just watch the ship out of that show.
648
00:43:37.920 --> 00:43:41.800
Man oh, Yeah well it's Because ed O'Neil is, affable
649
00:43:42.159 --> 00:43:44.119
even As Al bundy.
650
00:43:44.239 --> 00:43:47.800
Such a dick. Man he's just the. Worst he is.
651
00:43:47.719 --> 00:43:52.760
The, Worst but subway you root for. HIM i think
652
00:43:52.800 --> 00:43:54.719
it was because he scored four touchdowns in one.
653
00:43:54.719 --> 00:44:00.280
GAME i mean he really. DID i would actually love
654
00:44:00.360 --> 00:44:03.119
to find out how many times he actually said it
655
00:44:03.519 --> 00:44:09.159
on the. Show, yeah but, yeah, YEAH i just loved it.
656
00:44:09.199 --> 00:44:10.159

657
00:44:10.440 --> 00:44:12.039
NEIL i will always love that o'.
658
00:44:12.079 --> 00:44:12.280
Neil.
659
00:44:13.000 --> 00:44:16.440
Yeah eight hundred episodes is a lot of fucking episodes
660
00:44:16.719 --> 00:44:22.360
of a television. Show my, my my, youngest my seven
661
00:44:22.440 --> 00:44:27.559

he that's.
663
00:44:28.199 --> 00:44:31.280
All he wants to current or old or somewhere in
664
00:44:31.360 --> 00:44:31.719
the middle.
665
00:44:31.840 --> 00:44:35.760
Both, okay if it's A simpsons, episode he watches it,
666
00:44:36.119 --> 00:44:38.840
nice like he just loves, it And i'm, LIKE i.
667
00:44:38.880 --> 00:44:41.119
COULD i mean it's good. Writing, YEAH i mean he's
668
00:44:41.239 --> 00:44:44.440
learning good story. Structure he's learning from some of the
669
00:44:44.480 --> 00:44:47.239
best story writers of all the comedy writers of all.
670
00:44:47.320 --> 00:44:49.960
Time SO i couldn't be.
671
00:44:50.000 --> 00:44:54.159
Happier that's a great show. Too i'm obviously early on
672
00:44:54.280 --> 00:44:59.320
they were a little, violent a little, bit but it's
673
00:44:59.360 --> 00:45:04.360
a it's a show that's definitely had time to grow.
674
00:45:05.840 --> 00:45:10.920
A little long thirty five years years something like. THAT
675
00:45:10.960 --> 00:45:13.280
i don't, know it's it's a long. Time, yeah it
676
00:45:13.400 --> 00:45:20.159
started in the. Eighties, Yeah SO i got a few
677
00:45:20.159 --> 00:45:21.880
other tidbits and THEN i want to get into something
678
00:45:21.960 --> 00:45:24.079
in the show With it'll take a little longer to talk.
679
00:45:24.079 --> 00:45:28.159
ABOUT i think it is absolutely hilarious that The DISNEY
680
00:45:28.199 --> 00:45:33.280
APC espn blackout for YouTube tv is entering its third,
681
00:45:33.320 --> 00:45:37.000
week and it is now being reported that it's Costing
682
00:45:37.119 --> 00:45:42.679
disney four point three million dollars a day during this
683
00:45:42.800 --> 00:45:48.000
blackout because people are capitulating and YouTube's not. Capitulating they
684
00:45:48.039 --> 00:45:51.599
are still feeling the ramifications of The Jimmy kimmel. SHIT
685
00:45:52.920 --> 00:45:54.880
a lot of people got rid of Their hulu and
686
00:45:54.920 --> 00:45:59.519
Their Disney plus and THEIR espn stuff during that, timeframe
687
00:45:59.559 --> 00:46:02.039
and they have not gained those of yours. Back and
688
00:46:02.079 --> 00:46:04.639
now with this YouTube tv you're seeing more people be
689
00:46:04.800 --> 00:46:10.320
like fuck, you because even if you Have Hulu LIVE
690
00:46:10.400 --> 00:46:15.679
tv Or Hulu Disney plus AND Espn, plus you could
691
00:46:15.760 --> 00:46:21.920
not watch college football Or Monday Night football the last two,
692
00:46:21.960 --> 00:46:24.079
weeks even with.
693
00:46:24.039 --> 00:46:26.760
Those, subscriptions where are?
694
00:46:26.800 --> 00:46:29.360
They you have to have a cable.
695
00:46:29.360 --> 00:46:37.000
PROVIDER i do have, That SO i have a satellite. Provider. Satellite,
696
00:46:37.599 --> 00:46:38.480
say that's Not YouTube.
697
00:46:38.519 --> 00:46:41.199
Tv you have to have a something and now.
698
00:46:40.920 --> 00:46:45.000
And now with, yeah, now with the way it, is
699
00:46:45.320 --> 00:46:49.119
technically you should have an available on all the. Apps
700
00:46:49.119 --> 00:46:55.400
but if you you shouldn't BE i Mean audition And DIRECT.
701
00:46:55.440 --> 00:47:01.920
Tv i'm wondering how their business is actually doing Because
702
00:47:01.960 --> 00:47:05.280
i've Had i've Had dish for the entirety of my
703
00:47:05.599 --> 00:47:06.199
SINCE i lived.
704
00:47:06.239 --> 00:47:09.079
Here so they're all owned by. CONGLOMERATES i don't know
705
00:47:09.079 --> 00:47:11.679
who Owns, dish But direct is owned BY at AND t,
706
00:47:11.840 --> 00:47:18.800
still so like they have three separate forms of television
707
00:47:19.039 --> 00:47:22.760
under the same. Umbrella you've Got, Direct you've Got, Direct,
708
00:47:23.119 --> 00:47:27.760
uh that's just streaming instead Of direct that's a satellite.
709
00:47:27.800 --> 00:47:30.360
Provider and then you have AN at AND t form
710
00:47:30.559 --> 00:47:34.079
of television that requires their own. Box it's really. Stupid.
711
00:47:34.599 --> 00:47:39.360
Uh and then like With, Disney disney not only Owns,
712
00:47:39.400 --> 00:47:43.519
hulu which Has Hulu Plus LIVE tv, obviously But disney
713
00:47:43.599 --> 00:47:51.559
also Owns FUBO. Tv. Yeah So disney owns two streaming cable. Providers,
714
00:47:52.119 --> 00:47:55.239
yeah which is why they can afford to say fuck
715
00:47:55.320 --> 00:47:55.519
you to.
716
00:47:55.559 --> 00:48:01.480
YouTube, well that wouldn't have happened without in this, administration
717
00:48:02.679 --> 00:48:05.480
so because they allowed, it because that's there Was there
718
00:48:05.519 --> 00:48:06.960
were guardrails before.
719
00:48:07.000 --> 00:48:11.800
This so, YEAH i JUST i, think, uh it is
720
00:48:11.840 --> 00:48:15.440
a scary time for. Media and by, MEDIA i mean
721
00:48:15.559 --> 00:48:22.280
movies and television and studios and, ah you KNOW tv.
722
00:48:22.119 --> 00:48:24.159
Companies because all the bad people owned.
723
00:48:24.199 --> 00:48:27.440
Them, one all the bad people own, them and two
724
00:48:27.639 --> 00:48:30.000
all the bad people are trying to own more of.
725
00:48:30.039 --> 00:48:34.639
Them you know we, yeah we Know paramount and Sky
726
00:48:34.800 --> 00:48:37.840
dance went, through which never should have gone. Through, uh
727
00:48:38.360 --> 00:48:42.519
but Now, paramount the new parent company that Is, paramount
728
00:48:42.559 --> 00:48:47.000
is trying to Buy Warner brothers In. DISCOVERY i, mean
729
00:48:47.280 --> 00:48:51.840
where does it? End like it's the every restaurant's At
730
00:48:51.840 --> 00:48:57.039
Taco bell from From Demolition. Man at this, point you,
731
00:48:57.079 --> 00:48:59.920
know are we just going to have ONE tv provider
732
00:49:00.239 --> 00:49:03.559
at one studio and that's all we fucking? Get like
733
00:49:03.599 --> 00:49:09.519
this is stupid, Exactly it's it's it's it's. Terrifying as
734
00:49:09.519 --> 00:49:12.159
somebody who LOVES tv and, movies.
735
00:49:12.880 --> 00:49:21.639
The last eleven years have been, exhausting.
736
00:49:21.760 --> 00:49:26.639
Really has really has ever since that douchebag came down
737
00:49:26.639 --> 00:49:31.119
that fucking escalator man way too much breaking power and
738
00:49:31.159 --> 00:49:31.639
hating that.
739
00:49:31.679 --> 00:49:36.599
Guy god damn You Seth. Myers, YEAH i love speaking
740
00:49:36.639 --> 00:49:39.760
of speaking OF i love You Seth. Myers, yes but
741
00:49:39.800 --> 00:49:44.599
absolutely we all know unfortunately where they. Started uh, yes.
742
00:49:45.760 --> 00:49:48.719
Uh on the happier news though the last two bit
743
00:49:48.840 --> 00:49:50.880
tidbits THAT i have before we get to a larger,
744
00:49:50.880 --> 00:49:54.039
conversation we know just a little bit more about The
745
00:49:54.079 --> 00:49:56.119
Jimmy olsen series that's coming TO Hbo.
746
00:49:56.199 --> 00:49:56.559
Max.
747
00:49:57.159 --> 00:50:03.440
Uh it is from the creators Of American, vandal which was. Fantastic.
748
00:50:03.719 --> 00:50:07.719
Uh it is now going to be CALLED Dc. Crime
749
00:50:08.559 --> 00:50:13.119
so every season that we get blessed with is going
750
00:50:13.159 --> 00:50:16.039
to be about a specific, villain it sounds, like and
751
00:50:16.119 --> 00:50:18.440
this first season that we're getting is going to be
752
00:50:18.480 --> 00:50:19.960
About Gorilla Grod.
753
00:50:21.400 --> 00:50:21.880
Jimmy's.
754
00:50:22.920 --> 00:50:28.239
Grill, OKAY i believe, YOU i believe, you which gives
755
00:50:28.280 --> 00:50:32.239
me hope That James gunn will reveal at least that
756
00:50:32.320 --> 00:50:34.920
a flash exists in THE dc.
757
00:50:35.119 --> 00:50:39.079
Universe Because Gorilla grod and The flash are our, enemies
758
00:50:39.639 --> 00:50:44.400
so that could be really. Cool there's a lot of, possibilities.
759
00:50:43.880 --> 00:50:47.800
And he's not. Afraid he's not afraid to add like
760
00:50:47.880 --> 00:50:49.519
a giant thing TO tv.
761
00:50:49.800 --> 00:50:53.719
Too, NO i mean we got the fucking multiverse In.
762
00:50:53.920 --> 00:51:00.320
Peacemaker, yeah but, BIG i mean obviously being me IN
763
00:51:00.519 --> 00:51:06.199
i Love Skylar, gazando but also the.
764
00:51:06.920 --> 00:51:08.880
More Skylar gazando is not a bad.
765
00:51:08.920 --> 00:51:11.920
Thing but the best news for me on that is
766
00:51:11.960 --> 00:51:17.519
the creators Of American vandal just because that IT i don't.
767
00:51:18.360 --> 00:51:22.559
BRILLIANT i don't watch like those investigative shows at, all
768
00:51:22.639 --> 00:51:25.599
like the twenty twenties and and all those other. Ones
769
00:51:26.480 --> 00:51:29.800
and obviously this is a, mockumentary but man is it
770
00:51:30.000 --> 00:51:31.599
just structured so great.
771
00:51:32.199 --> 00:51:34.159
Perfectly its structured perfect.
772
00:51:34.199 --> 00:51:37.880
And it throws you off every every single whenever you
773
00:51:37.880 --> 00:51:40.519
think you're getting close and just like pulled the rug
774
00:51:40.519 --> 00:51:46.960
out that first, season the it was all just about
775
00:51:47.320 --> 00:51:53.079
drawing dix on. Cars what are the ball? Hairs i've
776
00:51:53.079 --> 00:51:59.679
always put ball heirs ever since fifth. GRADE i forgot.
777
00:51:59.679 --> 00:52:03.440
About and then the second season is about the. Brownouts
778
00:52:03.480 --> 00:52:10.480
it's the the the, Laxatives and, yeah that show was
779
00:52:10.519 --> 00:52:14.000
so funny and they got the perfect like the two
780
00:52:14.079 --> 00:52:18.400
kids That Tyler alvarez And Griffin gluck were so. Great
781
00:52:18.800 --> 00:52:20.119
uh in that?
782
00:52:20.199 --> 00:52:22.480
Show do you know that show got a Fucking?
783
00:52:22.519 --> 00:52:29.039
PEABODY i, LIKE I i, agree it's so. Ridiculous strong
784
00:52:29.079 --> 00:52:32.599
agree that show was. FANTASTIC i didn't know we got A,
785
00:52:32.639 --> 00:52:39.360
peabody but thank god it. Did. Yeah like whenever you
786
00:52:39.360 --> 00:52:43.199
brought Up Jimmy, Olsen, uh that was fun for you
787
00:52:43.360 --> 00:52:47.679
because that's the world of D, c which you truly.
788
00:52:47.760 --> 00:52:51.559
Love you love the world of D. C and for,
789
00:52:51.679 --> 00:52:54.920
me it's great news for me BECAUSE i do Love Skylar,
790
00:52:55.000 --> 00:52:59.800
gizando but also the guys who Did American vandals and
791
00:53:00.039 --> 00:53:04.199
and also right before we got, on you sent me
792
00:53:04.280 --> 00:53:06.880
the article About kraiger And. Netflix.
793
00:53:06.960 --> 00:53:10.840
Yeah, yeah that's WHAT i want to think. About So
794
00:53:11.840 --> 00:53:15.039
kreeger is also obviously coming off what we both thought
795
00:53:15.119 --> 00:53:18.760
were was just an absolutely brilliant and fantastic movie In
796
00:53:18.840 --> 00:53:24.000
weapons and has turned that into deals all around. Town
797
00:53:24.039 --> 00:53:26.960
it sounds like next on his list of things to
798
00:53:27.039 --> 00:53:31.119
do is The Resident evil, reboot Which i'm incredibly excited.
799
00:53:31.119 --> 00:53:34.360
About people were very excited that it's said during. Winter,
800
00:53:35.239 --> 00:53:37.639
yes people were very excited that it's.
801
00:53:37.639 --> 00:53:42.480
Very excited about. It the bit of news that came
802
00:53:42.519 --> 00:53:46.679
out recently On krieger was he is developing a SCRIPT
803
00:53:47.159 --> 00:53:50.679
i guess on SPEC i don't, know but he's developing
804
00:53:50.719 --> 00:53:54.480
a script for a film Called The flood For.
805
00:53:54.599 --> 00:53:59.480
Amblin for Ye netflix in a contract With, netflix, Right.
806
00:54:00.079 --> 00:54:03.880
Yeah so the contract would be With. Netflix, Yes kreeger
807
00:54:04.159 --> 00:54:08.079
wants in the contract that he will be guaranteed a
808
00:54:08.159 --> 00:54:13.880
theatrical release of the. Film netflix does not feel the
809
00:54:13.920 --> 00:54:17.400
same way about it and does not want to guarantee
810
00:54:17.480 --> 00:54:21.519
him a a theatrical. Release and it looks Like kreeger
811
00:54:21.599 --> 00:54:26.800
may shelve the entire project specifically because it won't be
812
00:54:26.840 --> 00:54:30.039
released in. Theaters And i'm of two minds on, this
813
00:54:30.079 --> 00:54:35.280
AND i definitely want to hear your thoughts on. IT i,
814
00:54:35.320 --> 00:54:37.760
think you, know it sucks that will be robbed something
815
00:54:37.760 --> 00:54:41.559
From kreeger BECAUSE i think he's a brilliant mind AND
816
00:54:41.599 --> 00:54:43.119
i want to see anything that he puts on the.
817
00:54:43.159 --> 00:54:46.599
Screen BUT i also think it's really fucking cool that
818
00:54:46.639 --> 00:54:48.599
he's standing up and he's being, like, no fuck, YOU
819
00:54:48.760 --> 00:54:51.199
i want people to see this in a fucking. Theater.
820
00:54:51.639 --> 00:54:59.559
YEAH i for, ME i huge Admirer i'm going to
821
00:54:59.679 --> 00:55:04.119
rash for just a. SECOND i don't agree with. It
822
00:55:04.119 --> 00:55:08.719
i'm going to rationalize. It especially in the studios are
823
00:55:08.719 --> 00:55:13.559
probably using this Particular october as a. Barometer If i'm
824
00:55:13.639 --> 00:55:19.360
using that, CORRECTLY i hope that This october was historically.
825
00:55:19.440 --> 00:55:23.519
Bad but if you also look at the slate During,
826
00:55:23.599 --> 00:55:26.599
OCTOBER i didn't go to the theater that much this.
827
00:55:26.840 --> 00:55:33.039
Month this past month fucking. ROUGH i don't even. RECALL
828
00:55:33.599 --> 00:55:37.119
i think there was like one really great calling to the.
829
00:55:37.119 --> 00:55:40.119
Theater BUT i ALSO i do KNOW i went to
830
00:55:41.079 --> 00:55:46.440
what's it Called back to The future this past. Month,
831
00:55:47.480 --> 00:55:50.760
okay let's. Look, actually, yeah almost all of my movies
832
00:55:50.800 --> 00:55:54.159
are horror. MOVIES i saw Tron, ares WHICH i. LIKED
833
00:55:55.079 --> 00:55:58.760
i even went AND i Saw, coyotes which nobody saw that.
834
00:55:58.800 --> 00:56:04.079
Movie The Smashing machine was kind of the most acclaimed
835
00:56:04.800 --> 00:56:07.480
movie to be, released and it got destroyed at the.
836
00:56:07.480 --> 00:56:10.280
BOX i Saw The way Of water re. RELEASE i
837
00:56:10.320 --> 00:56:13.719
saw Tron. ARIES i only saw it. ONCE i would
838
00:56:13.760 --> 00:56:15.840
have saw it. AGAIN i saw Black phone two. TWICE
839
00:56:15.960 --> 00:56:19.039
i Think blackphone two was probably the only star Of.
840
00:56:19.079 --> 00:56:23.159
October BUT i don't know what the box office looks.
841
00:56:23.239 --> 00:56:25.000
LIKE i THINK i know it made its money back
842
00:56:25.079 --> 00:56:29.320
like on the first. Day but, yeah there wasn't a
843
00:56:29.400 --> 00:56:31.760
ton of calling to the. THEATER i saw a good.
844
00:56:31.599 --> 00:56:34.199
Fortune man came, out but that wasn't like a big
845
00:56:34.880 --> 00:56:37.679
calling at. All Blue.
846
00:56:37.719 --> 00:56:40.679
Moon do you think people were going to the theater
847
00:56:40.760 --> 00:56:45.159
to See Blue? Moon? No it was a bad, month,
848
00:56:45.400 --> 00:56:50.199
Okay but to bring it back to greigor, no what's it.
849
00:56:50.239 --> 00:56:54.320
Called the theaters honestly need to get it needs to
850
00:56:54.360 --> 00:56:58.599
become a multiple person. Operation but the thing is everybody's. Greedy,
851
00:56:59.320 --> 00:57:02.559
obviously am see is dealing with some losses this past
852
00:57:02.599 --> 00:57:06.639
month as well that you. Mentioned, UH i believe last.
853
00:57:06.679 --> 00:57:14.760
Week there needs to become more of an accessibility to
854
00:57:14.880 --> 00:57:22.320
the theater. Obviously, uh the sound like an old person.
855
00:57:22.360 --> 00:57:26.400
Here the biggest problem now, is, unfortunately it is the.
856
00:57:26.480 --> 00:57:30.800
Audience it's the people who have the attention span to
857
00:57:30.840 --> 00:57:33.039
sit in the theater and not look at their phone
858
00:57:33.079 --> 00:57:37.000
for two. Hours and, unfortunately right now that's even extending
859
00:57:37.039 --> 00:57:41.000
to every single generation that people just don't have the
860
00:57:41.079 --> 00:57:42.960
patience to not sit and.
861
00:57:43.039 --> 00:57:47.119
SCROLL i THINK i agree with, YOU i agree with you,
862
00:57:47.119 --> 00:57:50.840
wholeheartedly BUT i think economic woes have to play into.
863
00:57:50.880 --> 00:57:54.039
THIS i, mean people can't, absolutely people can't afford the
864
00:57:54.079 --> 00:57:57.400
price of groceries going to the theater as a luxury
865
00:57:57.440 --> 00:57:59.760
at this. Point you, know when you AND i were growing,
866
00:57:59.840 --> 00:58:03.280
up going to the theater didn't cost that, much you,
867
00:58:03.320 --> 00:58:07.519
KNOW i, mean five dollars was an expensive movie. Ticket you,
868
00:58:07.559 --> 00:58:10.199
know we had a dollar theater in town that would
869
00:58:10.639 --> 00:58:14.199
play older movies or movies that had been out earlier
870
00:58:14.280 --> 00:58:15.599
in the, year and you paid a dollar and you
871
00:58:15.639 --> 00:58:17.800
saw the fucking. Movie LIKE i saw A rookie of
872
00:58:17.840 --> 00:58:21.679
The year like twelve times one. SUMMER i saw a
873
00:58:22.239 --> 00:58:24.639
grand total of twelve. DOLLARS u Saw.
874
00:58:24.480 --> 00:58:27.320
Space jam eight times one summer because it was a
875
00:58:27.360 --> 00:58:30.280
bike ride during it came out during the. Summer it
876
00:58:30.320 --> 00:58:33.159
was a bike ride down the. Road i've lived on
877
00:58:33.199 --> 00:58:36.360
a military. Base it was a bike down ride down the.
878
00:58:36.440 --> 00:58:39.639
Road it was a dollar to see. IT i saw
879
00:58:39.639 --> 00:58:42.800
it eight times at, noon like eight days in a.
880
00:58:42.880 --> 00:58:46.559
Row, YEAH i mean that's the. THING i think we
881
00:58:46.599 --> 00:58:48.760
also have to look at it this. Way people are
882
00:58:48.760 --> 00:58:49.519
paying for streaming.
883
00:58:49.559 --> 00:58:51.199
Services, yes so you.
884
00:58:51.119 --> 00:58:54.519
KNOW i Pay let's say it's eighteen dollars a month
885
00:58:54.559 --> 00:59:00.199
For netflix plus the other seventeen fucking streaming SERVICES i.
886
00:59:00.239 --> 00:59:07.079
Have you know that that's that's cutting into the ability
887
00:59:07.119 --> 00:59:08.360
to go to the theater for.
888
00:59:08.320 --> 00:59:12.000
Sure because you like you're already paying for entertainment at. Home,
889
00:59:12.440 --> 00:59:18.719
yes so like IT'S i don't, KNOW i don't know the.
890
00:59:18.840 --> 00:59:22.800
ANSWER i Don't and also came out and that's not
891
00:59:22.840 --> 00:59:25.719
like a that's not like a giant. Movie that's for the,
892
00:59:25.800 --> 00:59:29.639
secos that's for the that's literally is, no.
893
00:59:30.559 --> 00:59:36.159
It has to be more, Accessible LIKE i think also
894
00:59:36.199 --> 00:59:38.559
we need to get back to a form of making
895
00:59:38.639 --> 00:59:41.840
movies Like creager's really good at. This it shouldn't cost
896
00:59:41.840 --> 00:59:44.199
you two hundred and fifty million dollars to make your.
897
00:59:44.239 --> 00:59:50.039
Movie, no they really need to start making more intimate
898
00:59:50.159 --> 00:59:54.920
things like obviously giant movies are fun and, all but
899
00:59:55.199 --> 01:00:00.239
they're like you're making more of a risk on getting a.
900
01:00:00.280 --> 01:00:03.800
Return, yeah when your budget is two hundred and twenty
901
01:00:03.840 --> 01:00:06.199
five million dollars and then you put another fifty million
902
01:00:06.199 --> 01:00:09.400
dollars on top of it for, Marketing so your movie
903
01:00:09.440 --> 01:00:12.360
has to make three hundred million dollars to be kind
904
01:00:12.360 --> 01:00:17.199
of maybe, Profitable like that's a big. Deal like in the,
905
01:00:17.280 --> 01:00:21.440
nineties movies Like Jurassic park or Or Forrest, gup you,
906
01:00:21.519 --> 01:00:26.039
know if if they made three hundred million dollars in
907
01:00:26.079 --> 01:00:29.960
their entire year. Runs they were massive. Successes NOW i
908
01:00:30.000 --> 01:00:33.199
know inflation plays a role in, that BUT i, mean
909
01:00:33.280 --> 01:00:37.719
For christ's, sake like it just doesn't make. Sense like
910
01:00:38.639 --> 01:00:44.039
take for, instance, Uh Superman returns for the, time it
911
01:00:44.079 --> 01:00:48.079
was one of the most expensive movies ever made because
912
01:00:48.599 --> 01:00:50.920
of the back catalog of it being pushed back and
913
01:00:51.000 --> 01:00:54.119
multiple directors and multiple instances like it ended up being
914
01:00:54.159 --> 01:00:57.039
a two hundred and twenty five million dollar. Movie it
915
01:00:57.039 --> 01:00:59.039
didn't make back its, money so we didn't get a second.
916
01:00:59.039 --> 01:01:04.159
One Like that's kind of in the early, aughts that's
917
01:01:04.199 --> 01:01:07.079
where all this, started and now we've just continued to balloon.
918
01:01:07.159 --> 01:01:10.719
It LIKE i guarantee You Avengers doomsday is gonna call
919
01:01:10.760 --> 01:01:12.719
it like it's gonna be out three hundred million dollars
920
01:01:13.960 --> 01:01:16.159
and it's gonna have like it's gonna make a billion.
921
01:01:16.199 --> 01:01:20.599
Dollars don't get me, wrong but it still doesn't make
922
01:01:20.599 --> 01:01:21.159
any sense to.
923
01:01:21.199 --> 01:01:29.559
Me, Yeah greger made two really great small, movies giant small, movies.
924
01:01:30.320 --> 01:01:35.159
Movies that made back their budget and ten tenfold over.
925
01:01:35.280 --> 01:01:40.719
And made him a bona fide star In. Hollywood, yeah
926
01:01:40.880 --> 01:01:44.760
like you Hear Zach greigor right, now he produced companion
927
01:01:45.239 --> 01:01:48.039
because he he was, Like, oh this is actually a
928
01:01:48.119 --> 01:01:50.639
legitimately good. Story let's do, This let's do.
929
01:01:50.719 --> 01:01:57.519
It, yeah, yeah we think it's it's a symptom of
930
01:01:57.559 --> 01:01:57.920
a bigger.
931
01:01:57.960 --> 01:02:05.599
Problem the only, answer, really and this is gonna is
932
01:02:06.039 --> 01:02:12.800
capping people's total worth at like nine. Million.
933
01:02:13.760 --> 01:02:19.039
Yeah maybe let's not get, trillionaires you, know or.
934
01:02:19.119 --> 01:02:25.000
Billionaires there shouldn't be any they should not. Exist, yeah
935
01:02:25.039 --> 01:02:26.320
but unfortunately that will never.
936
01:02:26.400 --> 01:02:33.159
Happen so, YEAH i love That kreeger is taking a. Stand.
937
01:02:34.079 --> 01:02:36.800
YEAH i hate that we're not going to get what
938
01:02:36.880 --> 01:02:39.719
this movie could be most likely because of, It BUT
939
01:02:39.880 --> 01:02:40.920
i don't fault him for.
940
01:02:41.039 --> 01:02:46.119
It, yeah and we just got some go, ahead go,
941
01:02:46.159 --> 01:02:49.840
Ahead and we just got a couple of new images
942
01:02:49.960 --> 01:02:51.039
out Of Toy story.
943
01:02:51.199 --> 01:02:53.800
Five, yeah teacher trailer in, Fact.
944
01:02:53.599 --> 01:02:56.159
Oh we got a teaser. Trailer yeah we had you know,
945
01:02:56.280 --> 01:02:57.039
ME i didn't watch.
946
01:02:57.039 --> 01:03:00.280
It, surprise. Surprise it's about.
947
01:03:00.280 --> 01:03:03.800
Technology oh, YEAH i do. Know conan's a. Voice that's
948
01:03:03.840 --> 01:03:06.000
the only THING i really. KNOW i did see that
949
01:03:06.119 --> 01:03:11.719
there's a second Whatever Tony hale. WAS i can't remember his. Characters.
950
01:03:11.880 --> 01:03:15.000
FORKY i thought that there's a Second forky.
951
01:03:15.159 --> 01:03:20.679
Character, now, yeah that one came in during the one
952
01:03:20.679 --> 01:03:23.119
of those. Minis, yeah during the, Minis.
953
01:03:23.119 --> 01:03:23.840
OKAY.
954
01:03:25.119 --> 01:03:25.239
I.
955
01:03:25.360 --> 01:03:27.920
LIKED i Like Toy story five for.
956
01:03:28.440 --> 01:03:29.480
Four that was.
957
01:03:29.559 --> 01:03:35.519
Fun it was different. OBVIOUSLY i mean.
958
01:03:35.719 --> 01:03:38.480
My heart was so broken After Toy story three that
959
01:03:38.519 --> 01:03:41.119
it was hard to love. Again it, WAS i.
960
01:03:41.079 --> 01:03:43.599
Mean but the thing, is LIKE i loved bringing Back
961
01:03:43.719 --> 01:03:47.119
Bo peep and then we GOT i, Mean Carl weathers
962
01:03:47.199 --> 01:03:50.400
was a voice. Again he VOICED i, believe multiple of
963
01:03:50.400 --> 01:03:54.360
those little little like army men kind of, guys the
964
01:03:54.440 --> 01:03:58.840
Action jackson. Guys. YEAH i thought it was. Fun and
965
01:03:58.880 --> 01:04:03.960
then what's her, Name, uh the lady From, Madmen Christina.
966
01:04:03.960 --> 01:04:09.679
Hendricks she great voice for, that that, creepy creepy. Doll,
967
01:04:10.000 --> 01:04:12.039
yeah she was a great voice for. That and then
968
01:04:12.079 --> 01:04:14.199
her story was also. Tragic they always make.
969
01:04:15.719 --> 01:04:17.719
The, villain they always want to rip your heart.
970
01:04:17.760 --> 01:04:23.079
Out, yeah it's great. Though Uh, SO i, MEAN I
971
01:04:23.079 --> 01:04:25.840
i get it that they're gonna keep making. THEM i
972
01:04:25.920 --> 01:04:32.199
don't Really i'm. Excited i'll definitely see, it just BECAUSE i,
973
01:04:32.239 --> 01:04:37.000
mean sure it's gonna be. GREAT i Mean. Pixar pixar
974
01:04:37.039 --> 01:04:41.360
doesn't really half ass. Anything so even THOUGH i didn't
975
01:04:41.360 --> 01:04:45.239
see l E o Or Elemental, THEATER i still haven't
976
01:04:45.239 --> 01:04:49.119
watched either of. Them in, GENERAL i Heard elementals like a,
977
01:04:49.239 --> 01:04:52.599
cry like like that that movie will make you, cry
978
01:04:53.960 --> 01:04:56.960
and that wasn't a. Deterrent i'm not afraid there's not.
979
01:04:57.159 --> 01:05:01.480
A Recent pixar or di the film that won't make you.
980
01:05:01.559 --> 01:05:01.840
Cry.
981
01:05:02.960 --> 01:05:09.239
DUDE i rewatched a few a few weeks ago while
982
01:05:09.239 --> 01:05:11.920
we were At. Disney actually we Watched Inside out, two
983
01:05:12.400 --> 01:05:15.760
And i'm just laying in the bed in the cabin
984
01:05:15.880 --> 01:05:20.280
At Disney, world just just. Weeping grown man.
985
01:05:20.360 --> 01:05:24.280
Tears supplice to do it, Though, yeah.
986
01:05:23.719 --> 01:05:27.440
So like they know how to pull the heart strings
987
01:05:27.719 --> 01:05:29.599
so and they're very good at.
988
01:05:29.639 --> 01:05:34.079
It what's it? Called? Yeah Inside out too is. GREAT
989
01:05:34.199 --> 01:05:37.920
i didn't, like, uh Light, year not for the reason
990
01:05:38.039 --> 01:05:42.599
that other people didn't like Light. Years i've never liked
991
01:05:42.639 --> 01:05:44.000
BUZZ i get.
992
01:05:44.039 --> 01:05:46.840
It BUT i LOVE I, LOVE i Love.
993
01:05:46.920 --> 01:05:51.159
Chris Turning red was, Great.
994
01:05:51.519 --> 01:05:55.559
Dude Turning. Red. LISTEN i don't know How disney pulled
995
01:05:55.599 --> 01:05:59.960
off making a movie about getting your period and may
996
01:06:00.000 --> 01:06:01.159
making me feel something.
997
01:06:02.400 --> 01:06:03.800
Exactly, man they did.
998
01:06:03.679 --> 01:06:08.079
It and they called It Turning. Red For christ's, SAKE.
999
01:06:08.000 --> 01:06:08.800
I know it's.
1000
01:06:08.840 --> 01:06:11.960
Great the veil was very thin on.
1001
01:06:12.079 --> 01:06:16.920
That it, WAS i, mean multiple MEANINGS i, mean BUT
1002
01:06:17.440 --> 01:06:21.960
I luca was like one of my favorite little movies
1003
01:06:22.000 --> 01:06:24.320
during the. PANDEMIC i watched it a couple of. Times
1004
01:06:24.639 --> 01:06:29.400
it's just, pretty it's. Fun onward is, great soul is.
1005
01:06:29.440 --> 01:06:32.800
Great onward made me like ball like a.
1006
01:06:32.840 --> 01:06:35.000
Baby but we have different reasons for.
1007
01:06:35.079 --> 01:06:39.119
That as members of The Dead Dad. Club it was,
1008
01:06:39.159 --> 01:06:42.440
going it was going to, that AND i really Enjoyed
1009
01:06:42.440 --> 01:06:45.000
Tom holland And Chris pratt in. THAT i thought truly great,
1010
01:06:45.039 --> 01:06:49.039
chemistry truly great, chemistry and a lot of fun.
1011
01:06:48.920 --> 01:06:51.760
Voices in that. Movie LIKE i think of all The
1012
01:06:51.800 --> 01:06:54.599
pixar movies that have just had like kind of been
1013
01:06:54.639 --> 01:06:57.599
a stupid, movie but a lot of really fun. Voices
1014
01:06:58.360 --> 01:07:03.000
Onward onwards a great like soul to. It but but
1015
01:07:03.079 --> 01:07:05.920
it's a kind of a stupid movie for, it but it's.
1016
01:07:05.920 --> 01:07:08.159
Great it's their dumbest. Movie, Yeah, No.
1017
01:07:08.360 --> 01:07:10.760
Disney pixar has Been disney And pixar have been hitting
1018
01:07:10.760 --> 01:07:12.280

1019
01:07:12.320 --> 01:07:15.280
frame we've also Gotten, rayah WHICH i think is a hidden.
1020
01:07:15.320 --> 01:07:18.800
GYM i think it's Like The Red it is really.
1021
01:07:18.880 --> 01:07:26.360
Good we Got, moana which is. Beautiful the music is beautiful.
1022
01:07:25.760 --> 01:07:27.199
Was the second. One but the first one's.
1023
01:07:27.360 --> 01:07:30.239
Bang the first one's ALL i. Need, uh it's you're
1024
01:07:30.280 --> 01:07:35.920
right and it's a. Banger Uh, coco which fuck, man.
1025
01:07:36.000 --> 01:07:41.400
DUDE i just heard what's Your Name Kelly clarkson sing
1026
01:07:41.440 --> 01:07:44.239
Remember me In spanish AND i was, like, beautiful what
1027
01:07:44.280 --> 01:07:46.719

1028
01:07:46.800 --> 01:07:50.599
the one of those great voices ever and what are you?
1029
01:07:50.719 --> 01:07:53.079
Doing you trying to hurt?
1030
01:07:53.079 --> 01:07:55.920
Me but but my, favorite just because it was all
1031
01:07:56.119 --> 01:07:58.920
on in the house. Constantly it is.
1032
01:07:58.960 --> 01:08:04.079
Incanto that. IS i think that's the most of the
1033
01:08:04.840 --> 01:08:09.159
twenty two. THOUSANDS i think that is the most Fun disney.
1034
01:08:09.239 --> 01:08:11.079
Musical it's so much.
1035
01:08:11.119 --> 01:08:17.079
Fun it's so much fun eat movie to, watch it's so,
1036
01:08:17.199 --> 01:08:19.399
easy and we got to see it or got to
1037
01:08:19.439 --> 01:08:23.640
hear at least a different side Of Stephanie yes oh.
1038
01:08:23.720 --> 01:08:28.439
Yeah and also just has a song that will just
1039
01:08:28.560 --> 01:08:33.560
absolutely break your heart gas oh. MY i never need
1040
01:08:33.600 --> 01:08:35.920
to hear that that song In. ENGLISH i never need
1041
01:08:35.920 --> 01:08:36.880
to hear. THIS i don't want.
1042
01:08:36.920 --> 01:08:39.800
TO i don't want to know The english version because
1043
01:08:39.800 --> 01:08:42.159
it's pale in, comparison.
1044
01:08:43.199 --> 01:08:47.680
Is just you melt like you're like you don't even
1045
01:08:47.720 --> 01:08:50.600
LIKE i don't know if you need the context of
1046
01:08:50.680 --> 01:08:54.560
that song to just absolutely feel the emotion of.
1047
01:08:54.600 --> 01:08:58.279
It it's The spanish guitar that does.
1048
01:08:58.319 --> 01:09:01.039
It, man you're not. Wrong dude's voice you.
1049
01:09:01.039 --> 01:09:04.520
Know vinyl screams of The spanish guitar and his voice
1050
01:09:04.560 --> 01:09:04.920
is just.
1051
01:09:06.119 --> 01:09:09.239
Perfect, yeah it just has that voice that just has
1052
01:09:09.279 --> 01:09:11.960
so much pain and so much history and pain and.
1053
01:09:12.039 --> 01:09:17.119
Soul and it. All. Yeah, again they're knocking it out
1054
01:09:17.119 --> 01:09:20.239
of the PARK'S i hate on, them like during the
1055
01:09:20.399 --> 01:09:24.520
Entire oh, yeah we just recorded absolutely damn. It they
1056
01:09:24.560 --> 01:09:30.000
know they have my money. Already i'm, You, uh what's it?
1057
01:09:30.000 --> 01:09:35.840
Called, also it's not just their time, share is not
1058
01:09:36.159 --> 01:09:40.279
just we don't talk About bruno that that movie is
1059
01:09:40.640 --> 01:09:44.039
full of. Hits Banger, LIKE i don't think there's a
1060
01:09:44.119 --> 01:09:45.680
Bad shamus.
1061
01:09:45.359 --> 01:09:47.239
Was in that. Movie banger after.
1062
01:09:47.399 --> 01:09:49.840
BANGER i don't think there's a bad song in. That
1063
01:09:52.520 --> 01:09:56.239
how far WILL i? Go uh oh, no that's ma.
1064
01:09:56.319 --> 01:09:59.520
Wana, yes that is also a.
1065
01:09:59.560 --> 01:10:02.680
BANGER i think it has a similar melody to the
1066
01:10:02.680 --> 01:10:08.000
one that the sister who makes the. FLOWERS i think
1067
01:10:08.000 --> 01:10:10.000
it has a pretty similar melody to. It SO i
1068
01:10:10.039 --> 01:10:13.199
think that's WHERE i was. Going what else CAN i?
1069
01:10:13.239 --> 01:10:20.960
Do, yeah it's A.
1070
01:10:18.680 --> 01:10:22.199
I COULD i could do an entire episode On incanto.
1071
01:10:22.479 --> 01:10:29.159
Alone oh that's actually LIKE i IF i, didn't IF
1072
01:10:29.199 --> 01:10:33.039
i wouldn't have to deal with thousands of children a
1073
01:10:33.119 --> 01:10:36.880
day during the, pandemic like right after the pandemic, ENDED
1074
01:10:37.640 --> 01:10:40.640
i would have been the perfect person to go to
1075
01:10:40.880 --> 01:10:45.439
Disney land Or world and be Uh bruno BECAUSE i
1076
01:10:45.520 --> 01:10:48.319
had the long, HAIR i have a bigger. NOSE i
1077
01:10:48.319 --> 01:10:53.560
would have been the personification of a. Human, well Actually
1078
01:10:53.600 --> 01:10:58.000
i'm not what were? They where are they? From?
1079
01:10:58.479 --> 01:11:03.000
Like where are they? From is that what you're? Ating? Yeah, Colombia.
1080
01:11:03.119 --> 01:11:06.600
Colombia i'm Not, colombian SO i TECHNICALLY i.
1081
01:11:06.600 --> 01:11:10.359
Wouldn't But John zamo Is bruno and He's.
1082
01:11:10.439 --> 01:11:15.680
Mexican, yeah so that. Works i'm just SAYING i would
1083
01:11:15.720 --> 01:11:19.479
have wanted To. Columbia who looks Like? Bruno? Yeah, NO i,
1084
01:11:19.520 --> 01:11:20.399
mean BUT i would have been.
1085
01:11:20.439 --> 01:11:23.079
Perfect this movie came out in twenty twenty, one so
1086
01:11:23.119 --> 01:11:24.600
we were still amidst the.
1087
01:11:24.640 --> 01:11:29.079
Pandemic, yeah but this movie Has this movie. Bombed this
1088
01:11:29.159 --> 01:11:31.960
movie bombed and whenever it Hit. Disney, plus this movie
1089
01:11:32.079 --> 01:11:34.720
blew up because it's.
1090
01:11:34.520 --> 01:11:37.319
Perfect because you have Lin, Manuel.
1091
01:11:37.640 --> 01:11:43.079
Stephanie beatrice is the best leading, person like in A disney,
1092
01:11:43.119 --> 01:11:45.000
musical since Like, bell she.
1093
01:11:45.199 --> 01:11:48.960
Was like actively like in labor recording her.
1094
01:11:49.079 --> 01:11:53.840
Songs, yes she was. Perfect Stephanie beatrice like literally Your

He, IS i am your superior.
1099
01:12:06.640 --> 01:12:13.319
Officer it's the way they cut it during the episode
1100
01:12:13.600 --> 01:12:16.199
is like it's almost like a YouTube, Clip like they
1101
01:12:16.199 --> 01:12:17.880
cut it like onto the.
1102
01:12:17.960 --> 01:12:19.399
Doorframe it's just.
1103
01:12:21.800 --> 01:12:26.000
Rip Andre brower. Gone Oh, god okad's too.
1104
01:12:26.039 --> 01:12:28.760

1113
01:13:05.600 --> 01:13:10.720
And over his twenty one year, career the only thing
1114
01:13:10.760 --> 01:13:14.279
that like he just never at one point needed, it,
1115
01:13:14.960 --> 01:13:18.159
no so it just got past. Him like he held
1116
01:13:18.199 --> 01:13:20.960
THE Us championship for like a year year and a
1117
01:13:21.000 --> 01:13:25.359
half and did The OPEN Us Championship Open, challenge which was.
1118
01:13:25.399 --> 01:13:29.119
Fantastic unfortunately we also got a Broken sammy's ain out
1119
01:13:29.119 --> 01:13:33.960
of that we. Did from his, entrance he threw his
1120
01:13:34.079 --> 01:13:35.479
arms up and it was.
1121
01:13:35.520 --> 01:13:36.399
Over it was.
1122
01:13:36.479 --> 01:13:39.600
Over it was like he even gets to the.
1123
01:13:39.640 --> 01:13:41.800
Match he threw his arms up before it.
1124
01:13:41.920 --> 01:13:44.600
Started he was so excited THAT i believe they were In.
1125
01:13:44.640 --> 01:13:47.279

1126
01:13:47.359 --> 01:13:51.039
up and like tore his. LABORUM i. BELIEVE i don't
1127
01:13:51.079 --> 01:13:54.159
recall what the actual injury, was but that's what they.
1128
01:13:54.399 --> 01:13:58.680

1132
01:14:09.760 --> 01:14:14.279
Back with a seven foot. SON i don't.
1133
01:14:14.319 --> 01:14:22.520
Know the match That dom And john put on was pretty.
1134
01:14:22.520 --> 01:14:22.720
Good.
1135
01:14:22.840 --> 01:14:27.359
Good H the fact that we got The Eddie guerrero, MOMENT.
1136
01:14:27.279 --> 01:14:29.760
I was gonna, say, uh we got a bunch of.
1137
01:14:29.800 --> 01:14:32.199
Them we got like we got three amigos Like john
1138
01:14:32.279 --> 01:14:36.600
let him get the three, amigos uh thes and then the.
1139
01:14:37.399 --> 01:14:41.479
At the wink and then we got a really good
1140
01:14:42.600 --> 01:14:45.239
five knuckle shuffle and we got a really good a
1141
01:14:45.239 --> 01:14:49.119
a really good Because dom hit the froggy.
1142
01:14:49.119 --> 01:14:52.920
Splash, yes great fox. Splash he's got a great like he.
1143
01:14:53.000 --> 01:14:54.520
Does it's like top three frog.
1144
01:14:54.560 --> 01:14:59.840
Splash it's a fun strong like right now for talking
1145
01:14:59.880 --> 01:15:01.359
the current people right now.
1146
01:15:02.000 --> 01:15:08.079
Too. Ah But john got rut up out of, it
1147
01:15:08.119 --> 01:15:09.920
picked him, up put him over his, shoulder and hit
1148
01:15:09.960 --> 01:15:13.359
the aid when The icy. Title the only way this
1149
01:15:13.359 --> 01:15:18.000
this goes down Is, john you gotta do, it. Man
1150
01:15:20.800 --> 01:15:22.840
you got to give it up To seamus BECAUSE i
1151
01:15:23.119 --> 01:15:24.760
Need seamus to be A Grand slam title.
1152
01:15:24.760 --> 01:15:29.680
Winner AND i don't know the longevity Of, seamus BUT
1153
01:15:29.800 --> 01:15:35.319
i would even be okay If seamus almost retires soon after,
1154
01:15:35.359 --> 01:15:39.079
that just for his, health just for his. Health BUT
1155
01:15:39.199 --> 01:15:41.520
i don't know what else he's, doing so he might remain.
1156
01:15:41.560 --> 01:15:44.680
WRESTLING i think he actually just signed a, contract SO
1157
01:15:44.760 --> 01:15:47.199
i think he's there for a. While. Uh BUT i
1158
01:15:47.239 --> 01:15:49.520
Love seamus and that's the reason, why just BECAUSE i
1159
01:15:49.520 --> 01:15:54.119
care about his. Health he's had building up injuries over
1160
01:15:54.159 --> 01:15:57.960
the last couple of. Years so, yes So i'm just
1161
01:15:58.319 --> 01:16:03.680
only concerned for amount of love because we're. Not we
1162
01:16:03.680 --> 01:16:06.000
don't just set the. Bar we are the.
1163
01:16:06.039 --> 01:16:07.119
Bar we are the.
1164
01:16:07.159 --> 01:16:09.600
Bar one of my favorite tag teams of all. Time
1165
01:16:09.680 --> 01:16:11.760
like it was just perfect because them and The New
1166
01:16:11.840 --> 01:16:15.279
day and The USO's was just such a great combination
1167
01:16:15.439 --> 01:16:18.520
of teams going for the tag. Teams and then also
1168
01:16:18.960 --> 01:16:21.279
at the top you were talking about you Rewatched back
1169
01:16:21.279 --> 01:16:21.439
to The.
1170
01:16:21.439 --> 01:16:24.279
Futures, YES i rewatched all three of.
1171
01:16:24.319 --> 01:16:29.560
Them second one is still my. Favorite there's always going.
1172
01:16:29.520 --> 01:16:31.199
To be a special place in my heart for.
1173
01:16:31.239 --> 01:16:33.920
One, WELL i, MEAN i LOVE i think one is the,
1174
01:16:34.119 --> 01:16:34.880
best BUT.
1175
01:16:34.960 --> 01:16:36.119
I think one is a perfect.
1176
01:16:36.159 --> 01:16:37.239
Movie, yes.
1177
01:16:38.640 --> 01:16:43.239
Two does some really fun things that in like what
1178
01:16:43.319 --> 01:16:47.600
was it nineteen eighty, seven nineteen eighty, eight we didn't
1179
01:16:47.640 --> 01:16:53.439
think were, Possible like we got Multiple MICHAEL. J fox
1180
01:16:53.560 --> 01:16:59.239
is on the same screen four at a. Time, three
1181
01:16:59.319 --> 01:17:02.880
he was, his he was his, son and he was
1182
01:17:03.600 --> 01:17:06.840
his he was future all at the same.
1183
01:17:06.920 --> 01:17:10.840
Time but was he also his? Wife, no, no, No,
1184
01:17:10.960 --> 01:17:13.840
lauren Not. Lorraine uh, like, yeah, no Not.
1185
01:17:13.880 --> 01:17:15.760
Lorraine that Was Elizabeth.
1186
01:17:15.760 --> 01:17:21.479
Shoe, yeah what CAN i? Think it's her, Name, Jennifer. Jennifer,
1187
01:17:21.560 --> 01:17:23.840
yeah you don't like she's not mentioned very much in
1188
01:17:23.840 --> 01:17:28.239
the first movie after that's Love. Doc.
1189
01:17:30.079 --> 01:17:34.560
Uh but, two we also get the alternate, timeline which
1190
01:17:34.640 --> 01:17:38.199
is a lot of, fun especially When doc explains the
1191
01:17:38.239 --> 01:17:39.880
alternate timeline.
1192
01:17:40.880 --> 01:17:42.279
Telling me back the future is a bunch of.
1193
01:17:42.279 --> 01:17:49.479
Bullshit, yeah, Yesh but we we Get Donald Trump biff
1194
01:17:49.560 --> 01:17:52.159
who gets fucking hit with a car, door WHICH i
1195
01:17:52.159 --> 01:17:57.640
will love until the end of. Time and three three
1196
01:17:57.720 --> 01:18:01.600
is undersold. Man he has a ton of fucking.
1197
01:18:01.720 --> 01:18:04.560
Fun it's a lot of. Fun it's just it's such
1198
01:18:04.560 --> 01:18:07.239
a departure from the other two that it feels like
1199
01:18:07.279 --> 01:18:08.560
a completely different.
1200
01:18:08.640 --> 01:18:14.640
Thing but it's still a ton of. FUN i. Know
1201
01:18:14.760 --> 01:18:17.600
the fact that the fact That doc Becomes marty And
1202
01:18:17.640 --> 01:18:24.920
marty Becomes. Doc, yeah like like completely you get you
1203
01:18:25.000 --> 01:18:29.920
get the see near the end Where doc gets apparently
1204
01:18:29.960 --> 01:18:34.399
real drunk off of one fucking shot of, whiskey which
1205
01:18:34.520 --> 01:18:39.680
is just, brilliant like he's just been sitting there the whole. Time, like, yes.
1206
01:18:42.680 --> 01:18:44.520
That's the first. One that's the first.
1207
01:18:44.560 --> 01:18:50.000
One we get The Clint eastwood, stuff which is a
1208
01:18:50.039 --> 01:18:50.359
lot of.
1209
01:18:50.399 --> 01:18:53.840
FUN i love the third one probably the. Most.
1210
01:18:55.439 --> 01:19:01.640
Yeah uh, So like it's Like westerns were a dying
1211
01:19:01.800 --> 01:19:06.239
thing at the, time so it was cool that samechis
1212
01:19:06.520 --> 01:19:08.720
went back to, it went went with, it.
1213
01:19:08.760 --> 01:19:11.279
You, know, well especially because they set it up from the.
1214
01:19:11.319 --> 01:19:14.239
Beginning they send it up for it like if you're
1215
01:19:14.359 --> 01:19:16.920
if you ever got disappointed that they went to the Wild.
1216
01:19:16.960 --> 01:19:20.439
West it was there the whole, time like literally from the, Jump.
1217
01:19:22.319 --> 01:19:26.079
Mike i'll tell you why the number the second one's
1218
01:19:26.119 --> 01:19:28.600
my favorite is because when they do go back to
1219
01:19:28.720 --> 01:19:32.760
nineteen fifty, five how creative they had to get with
1220
01:19:33.479 --> 01:19:37.399
the existing footage and with footage that they didn't. Use
1221
01:19:37.880 --> 01:19:40.680
that's just like such a marvel to me that it's always.
1222
01:19:40.720 --> 01:19:46.399
Been like the technicality of two is why it's my,
1223
01:19:46.560 --> 01:19:49.279
favorite because they had to work within the constraints of
1224
01:19:49.600 --> 01:19:51.720
what they didn't know that they were going to have
1225
01:19:51.760 --> 01:19:55.600
to do uh in the first. One SO i also.
1226
01:19:55.399 --> 01:19:58.439
Can appreciate that they had such higher hopes for us
1227
01:19:58.439 --> 01:20:00.800
in twenty. Fifteen it really.
1228
01:20:00.840 --> 01:20:06.159
Did they shot for the. Moon, hey but you know
1229
01:20:06.199 --> 01:20:10.159
what the mechastic believed in In spielberg at the time.
1230
01:20:10.199 --> 01:20:14.560
Too so where's my Fucking jaws ten hologram is All i'm,
1231
01:20:14.600 --> 01:20:18.479
saying where's my flying? Car where's my?
1232
01:20:18.520 --> 01:20:19.960
Hoverboard my?
1233
01:20:20.119 --> 01:20:20.800
Hoverboard?
1234
01:20:20.920 --> 01:20:26.039
Yes, NO i want the mag the mag, ones the uh.
1235
01:20:26.760 --> 01:20:28.239
The nike's self. Lacing.
1236
01:20:28.359 --> 01:20:30.439
YEAH i don't even want them to WEAR i just
1237
01:20:30.479 --> 01:20:33.439
want them to on a. Mantle, YEAH i just want
1238
01:20:33.479 --> 01:20:35.600
to look and IF i walked by a light comes
1239
01:20:35.600 --> 01:20:39.279
on and and that little twinkle from the score. Plays.
1240
01:20:39.760 --> 01:20:45.880
Uh i'd also, like if we were picking one thing
1241
01:20:46.119 --> 01:20:48.880
to have from the, movie like a prop from the
1242
01:20:48.920 --> 01:20:52.399
movie to, have it would be between the hoverboard and
1243
01:20:52.439 --> 01:20:52.840
The Sports.
1244
01:20:52.880 --> 01:20:55.720
ALMANAC i was gonna say The, almanac LIKE.
1245
01:20:55.680 --> 01:20:57.439
I would want one of those.
1246
01:20:57.479 --> 01:21:01.079
THINGS i don't, Know i'd want something so niche from that,
1247
01:21:01.159 --> 01:21:01.720
movie like.
1248
01:21:01.840 --> 01:21:06.159
Whenever Maybe Biff's, caine like Old Biff's, caine you know.
1249
01:21:06.199 --> 01:21:09.560
What AND i Think biff is technically my favorite character
1250
01:21:09.680 --> 01:21:14.039
throughout all three at least at Least Tom wilson is
1251
01:21:14.039 --> 01:21:14.560
my favorite.
1252
01:21:14.600 --> 01:21:19.239
Actors the weirdest fucking character arc in.
1253
01:21:19.239 --> 01:21:22.439
The history had to do so many.
1254
01:21:22.520 --> 01:21:29.359
Things he goes from he's like strong boss to teenager.
1255
01:21:30.079 --> 01:21:37.319
Two depleted like for like, now yeahpleted guy who waxes.
1256
01:21:38.399 --> 01:21:44.079
The Are georgia's cars the, boy, uh then then goes
1257
01:21:44.319 --> 01:21:48.840
back or then goes old man an old, guy then
1258
01:21:49.000 --> 01:21:50.960
back to a, teenager.
1259
01:21:52.119 --> 01:21:54.640
Then old millionaire.
1260
01:21:55.199 --> 01:22:02.920
Of Crime, city and then back to teenager and then
1261
01:22:03.000 --> 01:22:07.039
Just maine a. Cowboy it's a criminal.
1262
01:22:07.119 --> 01:22:11.920
Cowboy Tom wilson, man he did. It he is truly
1263
01:22:12.159 --> 01:22:16.039
because you think Of Christopher lloyd And MICHAEL. J, fox
1264
01:22:16.119 --> 01:22:19.159
and then you would think Of Leah thompson probably third
1265
01:22:19.279 --> 01:22:24.720
for that that. Series but you know, what almost THE
1266
01:22:24.880 --> 01:22:26.960
mvp of all three of them is Almost Tom.
1267
01:22:27.000 --> 01:22:30.119
Wilson the movies don't work Without Tom wilson.
1268
01:22:29.840 --> 01:22:36.039
Because he's the perfect bad guy and he did six
1269
01:22:36.079 --> 01:22:37.279
different versions of the bad.
1270
01:22:37.319 --> 01:22:41.920
Guy and the fact that we got the line how
1271
01:22:41.920 --> 01:22:42.840
about you make like a.
1272
01:22:43.079 --> 01:22:44.720
A tree and get out of here and.
1273
01:22:44.720 --> 01:22:47.880
Get out of here one of the best lines in.
1274
01:22:47.960 --> 01:22:52.720
MOVIES i, agree AND i just love. It hello, McFly
1275
01:22:53.039 --> 01:22:58.680
hello fly. McFly Oh, god he Was Tom. WILSON i
1276
01:22:59.119 --> 01:23:01.600
WOULD I i would want to meet you just SO
1277
01:23:01.640 --> 01:23:03.840
i could get that, card BUT i would also just
1278
01:23:03.880 --> 01:23:07.960
want to say thank. YOU i love you, man thank,
1279
01:23:08.000 --> 01:23:13.800
you thank. You and also on your, rewatch how horny
1280
01:23:13.840 --> 01:23:15.000
Was Leah, Thompson.
1281
01:23:15.960 --> 01:23:18.800
So, dude you, talked you talked about it last week
1282
01:23:18.880 --> 01:23:22.960
on the, pod and THEN i went into my rewatch
1283
01:23:23.479 --> 01:23:26.640
knowing THAT i was going to be keeping an eye on.
1284
01:23:26.680 --> 01:23:31.600
It holy not a, scene not a scene where she
1285
01:23:31.680 --> 01:23:31.960
is not.
1286
01:23:32.479 --> 01:23:39.560
Piney single scene like post original nineteen eighty. Five so
1287
01:23:39.720 --> 01:23:42.319
once we get to fifty, five and then when we
1288
01:23:42.359 --> 01:23:46.760
get back To new nineteen eighty, five complete like horny
1289
01:23:46.880 --> 01:23:47.600
the entire.
1290
01:23:47.680 --> 01:23:52.399
Time the entire, time she just wants. Dick And i'm
1291
01:23:52.439 --> 01:23:59.600
not trying to sexualize this thing on. Purpose lorraine is, horny.
1292
01:23:58.760 --> 01:24:03.479
Horny five alarm fire wants it all the.
1293
01:24:03.560 --> 01:24:07.520
Time. Uh The Chair company was really good this. Week Uh,
1294
01:24:08.119 --> 01:24:10.600
GOD i don't know what like it. Was it's NOT
1295
01:24:10.760 --> 01:24:12.800
i can't say it was really. Good it was confusing
1296
01:24:12.880 --> 01:24:17.840
and then it hooked you at the. End darry the
1297
01:24:17.960 --> 01:24:20.520
least scary, episode but this is kind of where they're.
1298
01:24:20.560 --> 01:24:22.199
Building and then ALSO i love.
1299
01:24:22.279 --> 01:24:23.560
This was a world building.
1300
01:24:23.560 --> 01:24:26.520
Episode, YES i love. Dude how good Was james remar
1301
01:24:26.600 --> 01:24:31.800
and that scene with with The native, Lady, uh like
1302
01:24:31.840 --> 01:24:33.680
the girl that he knew was from his, past that
1303
01:24:33.880 --> 01:24:37.399
scene in that in her her. Shop he was so
1304
01:24:37.439 --> 01:24:42.000
good at that. Scene but Also hallerin is, Great like
1305
01:24:42.079 --> 01:24:45.479
WE'RE i love how We're this is basically The Dark,
1306
01:24:45.560 --> 01:24:51.399
tower isn't it the show basically because The Dark tower
1307
01:24:51.479 --> 01:24:53.920
basically integrated all The Stephen king, stuff, right.
1308
01:24:54.359 --> 01:24:56.079
Yeah all The Stephen king stuff is.
1309
01:24:56.199 --> 01:25:01.000
Intertwined, Yeah so SO i like how we're just this
1310
01:25:01.119 --> 01:25:03.960
is Just Stephen king the show should just because that's.
1311
01:25:03.800 --> 01:25:05.600
WHAT i was getting ready to, say, like this is
1312
01:25:05.960 --> 01:25:09.880
this isn't even just About Penny wise and this town Of,
1313
01:25:09.960 --> 01:25:12.359
Dary like this is Just stephen Kink.
1314
01:25:12.479 --> 01:25:18.439
Central, yeah this Is, hub This Stephen King. Hub but
1315
01:25:18.479 --> 01:25:21.079
it was. Good it was a little less scary than
1316
01:25:21.079 --> 01:25:23.239
the last, three the other. Three but LIKE i, SAID
1317
01:25:23.239 --> 01:25:26.920
i Loved Hollerin LIKE i like that actor, Too, man he's.
1318
01:25:27.000 --> 01:25:27.279
Good.
1319
01:25:27.520 --> 01:25:33.880
Yeah also the guy who's playing the guy without? Fear
1320
01:25:35.119 --> 01:25:35.840
what is his?
1321
01:25:35.960 --> 01:25:40.600
DEAL i don't know what are we doing with?
1322
01:25:40.720 --> 01:25:45.760

1325
01:25:53.479 --> 01:25:55.960
ELEMENTARY i finally WATCHED I love L. A i watched
1326
01:25:55.960 --> 01:26:00.359
the first episode over the weekend at. One did not
1327
01:26:00.520 --> 01:26:02.640
anticipate the gratuitous.
1328
01:26:03.800 --> 01:26:06.319
Immediately yeah you know.
1329
01:26:06.399 --> 01:26:10.960
What also the funniest sex scene Since.
1330
01:26:10.960 --> 01:26:17.760
Bridesmaids the talking during the earthquake and. Everything, yeah, yeah

just just just choked, me.
1332
01:26:25.159 --> 01:26:27.720
Just choke me a little. BIT i fucking lost.
1333
01:26:27.760 --> 01:26:31.159
It the thing, Is i've Been i've known About Rachel
1334
01:26:31.159 --> 01:26:34.920
sennet since she was a stand up a while, ago
1335
01:26:35.039 --> 01:26:38.079
and then she got a show With The. CLOSER i
1336
01:26:38.079 --> 01:26:41.439
can't think of her. Name Kira sadgwick Called Call Your.
1337
01:26:41.439 --> 01:26:43.960
Mother it was on LIKE cbs or. Something it only
1338
01:26:44.039 --> 01:26:49.439
lasted a, season BUT i liked. It but she's been so.
1339
01:26:49.640 --> 01:26:52.520
Funny BUT i SO i started following like her her
1340
01:26:52.520 --> 01:26:56.279
career a little, bit and she used to like she
1341
01:26:56.279 --> 01:26:58.600
would bring it up on every single podcast she would
1342
01:26:58.960 --> 01:27:00.720
she was, On she's, LIKE i got perfect. TITS i
1343
01:27:00.720 --> 01:27:03.640
just don't want to show anybody right. Now so WHENEVER
1344
01:27:04.159 --> 01:27:07.920
i watched the whatever the opening scene OF I love
1345
01:27:08.079 --> 01:27:09.359
LA i was, like, oh she's, RIGHT.
1346
01:27:11.880 --> 01:27:13.319
I.
1347
01:27:12.000 --> 01:27:15.840
Did it was just but it was a running joke for.
1348
01:27:15.880 --> 01:27:18.680
Her it was a running joke for a.
1349
01:27:19.079 --> 01:27:23.600
Time just how how the two of, them like the
1350
01:27:23.640 --> 01:27:27.960
back of we're handling, It we're handling it like two
1351
01:27:28.079 --> 01:27:31.760
incredibly opposite ways of handling there being an earthquake In
1352
01:27:31.880 --> 01:27:32.760
la is ALL i will.
1353
01:27:32.840 --> 01:27:35.800
Say how great Is joshuderson? Too he's just LIKE i
1354
01:27:36.239 --> 01:27:38.119
missed that. Dude and also he kind of gets to
1355
01:27:38.119 --> 01:27:40.079
play a little like a little sexy in this.
1356
01:27:40.159 --> 01:27:43.439
SHOW i feel like he's just a real affable guy as,
1357
01:27:43.439 --> 01:27:45.239
Well like we were talking About ed O'Neill that. Way,
1358
01:27:45.359 --> 01:27:47.760
Yeah LIKE i feel like he's just a guy that
1359
01:27:47.800 --> 01:27:49.840
you'd like to sit down and have a conversation with and.
1360
01:27:49.760 --> 01:27:53.199
THEN i sent you that TikTok of a conversation like
1361
01:27:53.239 --> 01:27:56.079
an interview he for probably FOR I love You, la
1362
01:27:56.319 --> 01:28:01.319
and how he shot like his grandmother showed up on
1363
01:28:01.399 --> 01:28:05.039
set one day when he was Shooting Future man on
1364
01:28:05.079 --> 01:28:07.920
a day that they were shooting an. Orgy so his
1365
01:28:07.960 --> 01:28:12.159
family's pretty cool with what he has to. Do it's
1366
01:28:12.199 --> 01:28:14.079
weird that has just been watching that kid since he
1367
01:28:14.159 --> 01:28:17.760
was like ten years. Old, THOUGH i Miss Future, man
1368

1372
01:28:33.560 --> 01:28:35.840
the guy who Played wolf on another show the other.
1373
01:28:35.920 --> 01:28:40.199
DAY i was happy to see. HIM i Think Eliza
1374
01:28:40.239 --> 01:28:44.319
coop has a show coming out here. Soon but, yeah
1375
01:28:44.319 --> 01:28:47.920

Yeah Russell Crow Robbie, Mallick she's, like she didn't say
1379
01:29:00.319 --> 01:29:04.439
these are my. Words Russell crowe like still has his.
1380
01:29:04.520 --> 01:29:08.079
Fastball he's still like a really good, actor because he's
1381
01:29:08.119 --> 01:29:11.920
been doing some fun or more fun stuff. Lately but,
1382
01:29:12.039 --> 01:29:15.560

One they're so such, fun stupid crime heist. Movies they
1393
01:29:41.840 --> 01:29:45.039
make it doesn't need to make sense and, stupid AND
1394
01:29:45.119 --> 01:29:45.359
