ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Welcome to VomCom, the podcast where we talk about the romantic comedies we love to hate and hate to love. This week, we watched Serendipity. The dictionary defines ‘serendipity’ as “luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for.” Instead, the definition should be “a movie about two infuriating people making infuriating decisions culminating in the most infuriating romance.” Starring Kate Beckinsale in her pre-prime and John Cusack in his post-prime, Serendipity is weirdly your mom’s favourite romantic comedy. For what reasons? We sure as hell would like to know. Seriously, someone tell us why they like this movie. Thanks for listening to us talk about everything we loved and hated about this film, see ya next time! xo
