ABOUT THIS EPISODE
On September 3, 1996, the quiet town of Turner Valley, Alberta, was shaken by a fire that would reveal a horror far worse than anyone could have imagined. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they believed the deaths of 36-year-old Jane Johnson and her 8-year-old daughter Cathryn were the result of a tragic accident. But as the investigation unfolded, it became clear that their deaths were no accident at all—they had been brutally murdered, and the fire was set to destroy the evidence.
Despite years of investigation, countless interviews, and thousands of tips, the case remains unsolved to this day. What really happened that night, and why has no one ever been brought to justice for Jane and Cathryn's deaths?
Join us as we explore the chilling and heartbreaking mystery of the Johnson murders, a case that has haunted Turner Valley for nearly three decades.
