ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of Unleashed, Heidi Ganahl pulls back the curtain on what may be one of Colorado’s most outrageous school district coverups.
Heidi breaks down the shocking details behind the Durango 9-R “Dirty Dozen” — a 12-part investigative video series exposing deeply concerning actions by school officials, teachers, and board members. From secret gender transitions without parental knowledge to massive spending on DEI consultants, this scandal has rocked the Durango community and raised serious questions about transparency, accountability, and parental rights.
Heidi walks through the most explosive findings from the series, including:
A student’s secret gender transition aided by a teacher—without informing the parents
Over $200,000 in taxpayer money funneled to controversial DEI consultants
A board member pushing radical policies under the guise of “equity”
Smear campaigns against whistleblowers and local parents
And what the district is doing to spin the story and silence dissent
Heidi also talks about how this is not an isolated issue—and why it matters to every parent in Colorado. If it can happen in Durango, it can happen anywhere.
This is a must-listen episode for anyone who believes in parental rights, transparency, and fighting back against ideological capture in our schools.
