XXV: How Abusing Trust Ruins Society - Andrew Briggs

Andrew Briggs gets called a feminist, a MAGA chud, and a liberal cuck in the same comment section. Twice in one week. That is what happens when you refuse to be certain in public.

It started in eighth grade, when he was so sure a friend was telling the truth he nearly fought a kid over it. Then his certainty about God went. Then his certainty about addicts, when his sister overdosed. Then his career, when the market told him nobody cared about the thing he spent ten years learning.

We ended up somewhere neither of us planned, on a question nobody has ever asked him, and both of us were watery-eyed by the end.

• The eighth grade lie he believed

• Why most beliefs collapse three questions deep

• Strength and kindness as two separate axes

• Second place at being Andrew Tate

• The market ignores your hard-won expertise

• Why talk therapy feels like thoughts and prayers

• The question he has never been asked
