ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Does James contradict the Bible when he says God tempts no one? Rightly parsing the Greek words James uses for "testing" and "trials" gives us clarity on what he meant, which when taken at face value from the English appears to be a contradiction to the rest of the Bible. VF-2501 James 1:2-3, 12-14

The Sabbath Day Was Nailed to the Cross

The Sabbath Day Was Nailed to the Cross

Let no man judge you regarding the keeping of the Sabbath and holidays. We have many traditions, even those reflected in our calendar, that come to us out of pagan sun and moon worship. Traditions that have nothing to do with Scripture should not be part of the church. There is also no reason to k…

Let No One Rob You of Your Reward

Let No One Rob You of Your Reward

What happened at the church in Colossae is still happening in the church today: adding onto the simplicity of the gospel. All of these add-ons seem to be super spiritual, like the worshiping of angels and marvelous visions, but in reality, they're fake, and all they do is distract. Let no one rob …
