ABOUT THIS EPISODE
It's finally time for the Two Guys' FINAL Cy-Hawk predictions!
Chris Williams and Chris Hassel break down Iowa vs. Iowa State ahead of Saturday night's rivalry game at Kinnick Stadium. Hassel is more confident in Iowa than ever before and predicts a Hawkeye blowout, while Williams believes Iowa State can keep the game within one score.
The guys debate the biggest question of the game: Can Jaylen Raynor make enough plays to keep Iowa State alive? They break down Iowa State's offensive line, the importance of Raynor's legs, turnovers, Iowa's dominant offensive line and running game, Kamari Moulton, and the matchup between Iowa State's defensive line and Iowa's offense.
They also discuss Iowa's quarterback situation and what to expect from Hank Brown and Jeremy Hecklinski, including how Kirk Ferentz could handle the two-quarterback approach depending on the game situation.
Plus, the guys react to the latest developments in the Michigan-Western Michigan replay controversy and the MAC's pushback, discuss increased transparency for college football replay officials, and make their picks for a loaded Week 2 college football slate.
Week 2 picks include:
• Minnesota vs. Mississippi State
• Utah vs. Arkansas
• Nebraska vs. Bowling Green
• Oklahoma vs. Michigan
• Wake Forest vs. Purdue
• Washington vs. Utah State
• North Dakota State vs. Air Force
• Pittsburgh vs. UCF
They also preview the biggest games of the weekend, including Ohio State vs. Texas, Oklahoma vs. Michigan, Arizona vs. BYU, Oregon vs. Oklahoma State, and Arkansas vs. Utah.
