WEBVTT
00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:06.559
From beautiful Hollywood, California, please welcome to Ginger Gems with Kate and James.
00:00:06.959 --> 00:00:08.400
Oh babe.
00:00:08.640 --> 00:00:09.279
We've had a fortnight.
00:00:09.359 --> 00:00:10.080
We've had a fortnight.
00:00:12.480 --> 00:00:18.879
So a lot of uh three months to get ready for the last one, and we got everything last week.
00:00:19.120 --> 00:00:19.519
We've got everything.
00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:21.760
Oh my god, we forgot to do the gems at the end.
00:00:22.320 --> 00:00:22.559
All of it.
00:00:22.640 --> 00:00:23.120
Yeah, we forgot.
00:00:23.679 --> 00:00:23.839
Sorry.
00:00:24.399 --> 00:00:24.719
All good.
00:00:24.879 --> 00:00:25.519
I mean good.
00:00:25.679 --> 00:00:25.920
Yeah.
00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:27.440
And thank everybody for listening.
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:28.079
My God.
00:00:28.239 --> 00:00:29.039
Well done, everyone.
00:00:29.280 --> 00:00:37.039
Everyone came back, and um apparently a few people said that they were expecting it on YouTube, even though we did say it wasn't on YouTube on the last one.
00:00:37.200 --> 00:00:41.439
To everybody just find the podcast where you find all podcasts.
00:00:41.600 --> 00:00:42.719
So it's very, very simple.
00:00:42.799 --> 00:00:49.600
So wherever you listen to it, unless we're the only podcast you'll listen to, and thank you for that, you can find it wherever you listen to your other podcasts.
00:00:49.840 --> 00:00:50.799
Mickey, put a link up.
00:00:50.880 --> 00:00:51.280
How's your week?
00:00:52.159 --> 00:00:52.960
How's your week, babe?
00:00:53.039 --> 00:00:53.520
Hello, Mickey.
00:00:53.840 --> 00:00:54.960
How are my two weeks?
00:00:55.520 --> 00:00:56.560
How was your how was your fortnight?
00:00:56.719 --> 00:00:57.600
How was my fortnight?
00:00:57.679 --> 00:00:58.240
It was good.
00:00:58.560 --> 00:01:00.399
Kaz and her husband had stayed.
00:01:00.719 --> 00:01:02.000
They came over to visit me.
00:01:02.240 --> 00:01:02.880
And they came to visit me.
00:01:03.039 --> 00:01:03.759
You finally met Kaz.
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:05.280
Yeah, you finally met Kaz.
00:01:05.680 --> 00:01:09.519
And um, and then they went back and then we had Ralph here.
00:01:09.920 --> 00:01:10.400
Oh, that's right.
00:01:10.480 --> 00:01:10.879
Yeah, that's right.
00:01:12.079 --> 00:01:13.120
Yeah, okay, went to the show.
00:01:13.359 --> 00:01:15.120
Ralph was here for a couple of nights.
00:01:15.359 --> 00:01:15.599
Good people.
00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:17.040
And um, yeah, yeah.
00:01:17.200 --> 00:01:18.400
Yes, now we're back.
00:01:18.640 --> 00:01:21.680
We're back at the helm of two ginger gems.
00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:22.799
Two ginger gems.
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:27.680
Since I saw you last, I went to England for a week and then I've been back for well, since the weekend.
00:01:28.239 --> 00:01:33.359
Um, and uh just back into the silliness of life in Los Angeles.
00:01:33.519 --> 00:01:34.079
Yeah, yeah.
00:01:34.159 --> 00:01:34.400
Yeah.
00:01:34.560 --> 00:01:37.280
And I'm back on with obviously Dancing with the Stars.
00:01:37.519 --> 00:01:38.879
We spoke about that two weeks ago.
00:01:38.959 --> 00:01:44.640
We had our premiere, and now we've had two more shows, lost two more celebrities this week.
00:01:44.799 --> 00:01:46.560
We lost Taylor and Brit.
00:01:47.120 --> 00:01:48.959
Taylor, who was with what are they called Hanson.
00:01:49.200 --> 00:01:49.920
The Henson Brothers.
00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:50.480
What's the song?
00:01:50.560 --> 00:01:51.040
The Hensons.
00:01:51.280 --> 00:01:51.599
The song.
00:01:51.680 --> 00:01:52.239
Mm-hmm.
00:01:52.480 --> 00:01:53.200
Mm-hmm.
00:01:55.040 --> 00:01:56.799
I don't think they were that were they that big in England?
00:01:57.359 --> 00:01:58.000
That was the only one.
00:01:58.400 --> 00:01:59.439
That's the only song you've known.
00:01:59.840 --> 00:02:00.319
I can think of.
00:02:00.560 --> 00:02:02.319
Oh, so even in America, it's not like they had a bigger one.
00:02:02.480 --> 00:02:07.920
No, I'm sure I'm sure there were, but you know, if you were a 12-year-old girl, you didn't mean I know you were a big one.
00:02:08.400 --> 00:02:09.599
You liked him, didn't you, Mickey?
00:02:09.840 --> 00:02:10.639
I like you as a big one.
00:02:10.960 --> 00:02:11.439
Big fem.
00:02:12.319 --> 00:02:12.960
Huge.
00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:14.719
But yeah.
00:02:14.879 --> 00:02:18.159
So um yeah, we yeah, this week he he went with Brit.
00:02:18.479 --> 00:02:19.120
I do love Brit.
00:02:19.439 --> 00:02:21.120
So um And the show's doing well.
00:02:21.439 --> 00:02:22.719
Show's doing well, yeah.
00:02:22.800 --> 00:02:24.240
Everybody seems very happy with it.
00:02:24.319 --> 00:02:30.240
We had this week was last week was uh viral hits week, and we lost the um Italian chef.
00:02:30.800 --> 00:02:31.199
Giada.
00:02:31.599 --> 00:02:32.000
Giada.
00:02:32.319 --> 00:02:33.439
And then this week is Alan.
00:02:33.520 --> 00:02:34.639
Love my lovely Alan.
00:02:34.800 --> 00:02:36.960
I'm loving the I'm loving the pros that have gone.
00:02:37.039 --> 00:02:37.759
That's my problem.
00:02:37.919 --> 00:02:40.400
Because I love Alan and I love um Brit.
00:02:40.800 --> 00:02:42.080
So I'm sad that they've gone.
00:02:42.240 --> 00:02:43.280
This week was yacht rock.
00:02:43.919 --> 00:02:45.360
I've never heard that term, yacht rock.
00:02:45.599 --> 00:02:46.400
How can you never have it?
00:02:46.560 --> 00:02:47.199
I've never heard that term.
00:02:47.360 --> 00:02:49.039
I didn't know when they're on about that, it was yacht rock.
00:02:49.120 --> 00:02:50.319
I didn't know what the hell they're on about.
00:02:50.560 --> 00:02:53.439
Oh, I honestly, when I saw it on the list, I lost my chip.
00:02:53.520 --> 00:02:54.319
I was like, no.
00:02:54.719 --> 00:02:57.599
I still don't really understand it what it was, but maybe we don't have many yachts where I think.
00:02:57.919 --> 00:03:01.520
If you're on a yacht, this is the kind of music you want to listen to, yeah.
00:03:01.680 --> 00:03:02.319
It's kind of soft.
00:03:03.199 --> 00:03:04.400
Isn't that a little rock?
00:03:04.800 --> 00:03:06.960
Isn't that a little narrower field?
00:03:07.039 --> 00:03:08.080
Like, what would you you know?
00:03:08.159 --> 00:03:11.199
It's like saying, well, if you were on a fire engine, what music would you want to listen to?
00:03:12.159 --> 00:03:13.919
Because on a fire engine, you're not just in hurting.
00:03:14.240 --> 00:03:15.599
You're off to put out a fire.
00:03:15.680 --> 00:03:17.680
You're but there's possible dangerous things gonna happen.
00:03:18.879 --> 00:03:20.400
On yacht, have you been on a yacht, boat?
00:03:20.479 --> 00:03:22.560
Have you ever heard of on a party on a yacht?
00:03:22.800 --> 00:03:23.199
Yes, starling.
00:03:23.520 --> 00:03:24.240
You sunbathed on a yacht.
00:03:24.479 --> 00:03:30.639
For my 50th, which which is obviously very recent, I had a tour about 20 years ago.
00:03:30.719 --> 00:03:31.199
Carry on.
00:03:31.360 --> 00:03:34.080
You went on a yacht, exactly, but was it a big yacht or a small yacht?
00:03:34.319 --> 00:03:40.080
It was not a massive yacht, but they were I don't remember what music we had on it, and I certainly didn't think, oh, this would be a good theme for dancing.
00:03:40.240 --> 00:03:41.680
Oh no, it's a great theme for dancing.
00:03:41.919 --> 00:03:44.159
Well yacht rock has had a resurgence.
00:03:44.400 --> 00:03:45.520
So recent it's massive.
00:03:45.680 --> 00:03:47.120
There's even a doco about it.
00:03:47.199 --> 00:03:49.199
Oh no, it's very big, it's huge.
00:03:49.520 --> 00:03:53.759
For me personally, yacht rock is uh so nostalgic.
00:03:54.080 --> 00:04:11.199
It's just anything, because it's usually summer music, so it usually transports you to some summer time of your life, and um and as holidays, romance, everything like that just comes into your head when you hear these songs or a great time in your life, you know.
00:04:11.520 --> 00:04:14.319
Last time we talked about the fact that there was all the new stuff starting.
00:04:14.400 --> 00:04:21.920
Well, so there's traitors obviously, traitors US, traitors UK, celebrity traitors started this week.
00:04:22.160 --> 00:04:23.199
I'm really excited about that.
00:04:23.360 --> 00:04:24.720
Yeah, I'm gonna definitely be watching that.
00:04:25.040 --> 00:04:26.879
Who are some of the big uh people on that one?
00:04:27.120 --> 00:04:29.120
The I'm trying to think the Jerry Hall.
00:04:29.360 --> 00:04:30.000
Jerry Hall.
00:04:30.079 --> 00:04:30.240
Okay.
00:04:30.399 --> 00:04:31.519
Um I met Jerry Hall.
00:04:31.680 --> 00:04:32.959
I work with Jerry Hall on something, actually.
00:04:33.199 --> 00:04:33.519
Oh, really?
00:04:33.680 --> 00:04:34.800
She's actually lovely, yeah.
00:04:34.959 --> 00:04:37.040
And also Sasha Baron Cohen.
00:04:37.519 --> 00:04:40.480
And one night I stole his jacket, and he never knew that.
00:04:40.639 --> 00:04:44.879
We were in the bar downstairs, and I went upstairs and I stole his jacket, and I took it home.
00:04:45.040 --> 00:04:50.319
And the next morning I woke up and I saw his jacket hanging on my door.
00:04:51.120 --> 00:04:55.199
So I had to get it back to LWT and back in there before anybody noticed.
00:04:55.279 --> 00:04:55.920
And I did do that.
00:04:56.160 --> 00:04:57.199
Come and get it, Sasha.
00:04:57.759 --> 00:04:57.839
Yeah.
00:04:58.160 --> 00:04:59.360
He was on the table tourists.
00:04:59.519 --> 00:05:00.079
He was right next to it.
00:05:00.399 --> 00:05:01.279
When Russell won the DJ.
00:05:01.839 --> 00:05:02.879
When Russell won the DJ awards.
00:05:03.839 --> 00:05:07.920
Him and Ayla were like on Instagram posting photos and looking at things about themselves.
00:05:08.319 --> 00:05:10.480
It's because you weren't watching anything, but what they were doing both.
00:05:11.199 --> 00:05:12.560
It was much more interesting.
00:05:12.800 --> 00:05:16.560
Russell won the DJ and Kate wasn't well so I so I went and Kate's place.
00:05:17.199 --> 00:05:18.399
You went as Mickey's date.
00:05:18.480 --> 00:05:22.639
And uh as Mickey's date, and it was the best DJ awards you've ever been to, wasn't it, Mickey?
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:23.759
I remember you saying more than once.
00:05:24.240 --> 00:05:24.639
Memorable.
00:05:24.959 --> 00:05:25.279
Yeah.
00:05:25.519 --> 00:05:27.600
And Sasha Barncorn was on the next table with it.
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:28.720
And he was cold, wasn't he?
00:05:28.800 --> 00:05:30.079
Because his jacket was missing, apparently.
00:05:31.680 --> 00:05:33.920
I remember shivering when he was on Instagram, yeah.
00:05:34.560 --> 00:05:35.040
Yeah, anyway.
00:05:35.439 --> 00:05:35.759
Richard E.
00:05:35.839 --> 00:05:36.560
Grant, is that who he's gonna do?
00:05:36.720 --> 00:05:36.959
Richard E.
00:05:37.040 --> 00:05:37.199
Grant.
00:05:37.360 --> 00:05:37.600
Richard E.
00:05:37.680 --> 00:05:38.560
Grant Richard E.
00:05:38.720 --> 00:05:38.879
Grant.
00:05:39.920 --> 00:05:40.639
He's on Richard E.
00:05:40.800 --> 00:05:43.199
Grant is on the Traitors UK celebrity traitors.
00:05:43.279 --> 00:05:45.519
And on the There's a whole list, babe, bring the list up.
00:05:45.680 --> 00:05:46.319
I got the list.
00:05:46.480 --> 00:05:47.120
Call them out.
00:05:47.360 --> 00:05:49.120
Well, I don't a lot of them are very English people.
00:05:49.199 --> 00:05:51.199
I don't know that the people they're gonna know Julia Hesmanhall.
00:05:51.279 --> 00:05:51.600
Yeah, it's not a good thing.
00:05:51.680 --> 00:05:51.920
I don't know.
00:05:52.560 --> 00:05:53.519
Oh, babe, read them out.
00:05:53.680 --> 00:05:54.560
We can edit this.
00:05:54.639 --> 00:05:55.199
Just read them out.
00:05:55.360 --> 00:05:56.879
Because there are some good people on there.
00:05:57.120 --> 00:05:58.319
Emole Rajan.
00:05:58.399 --> 00:05:58.720
There you go.
00:05:58.959 --> 00:06:00.560
Who's a journalist and broadcaster?
00:06:00.720 --> 00:06:02.079
Bella Ramsey, the actress.
00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:03.279
Oh, Bella Ramsey.
00:06:03.360 --> 00:06:04.000
Everyone will know her.
00:06:04.319 --> 00:06:04.720
Hannah Fry.
00:06:05.199 --> 00:06:06.000
What's it called, babe?
00:06:06.079 --> 00:06:07.040
Bella Ramsey.
00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:07.759
The Last of Us.
00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:08.560
The Last of Us.
00:06:08.720 --> 00:06:09.600
That's very big here.
00:06:10.000 --> 00:06:11.759
Hannah Fry, James Acaster.
00:06:11.839 --> 00:06:12.079
Yeah.
00:06:12.240 --> 00:06:12.800
James Blunt.
00:06:13.199 --> 00:06:13.839
James Blunt.
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:14.800
Everyone will know him.
00:06:15.040 --> 00:06:15.680
Jerry Hall.
00:06:16.000 --> 00:06:16.639
Jerry Hall, yes.
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:17.680
Joanne McNally.
00:06:18.079 --> 00:06:18.319
Yes.
00:06:18.959 --> 00:06:19.759
Joe Lysett.
00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:20.319
Very good.
00:06:20.399 --> 00:06:20.800
Very funny.
00:06:21.439 --> 00:06:22.079
Husmendalg.
00:06:22.160 --> 00:06:22.240
Yep.
00:06:22.319 --> 00:06:23.360
You speak in Coronation Street.
00:06:23.519 --> 00:06:24.079
King Kenny.
00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:25.279
And she was in Broadchurch.
00:06:25.759 --> 00:06:26.639
Lee Ann Pinnock.
00:06:26.800 --> 00:06:27.279
Is he a boxer?
00:06:27.439 --> 00:06:28.959
No, he's a social media personality.
00:06:29.040 --> 00:06:30.160
It says maybe he boxes.
00:06:30.240 --> 00:06:30.399
I don't know.
00:06:30.560 --> 00:06:31.360
I was hoping he was a boxer.
00:06:31.439 --> 00:06:32.879
Maya Jammer from Love Island.
00:06:32.959 --> 00:06:33.920
Oh, Love Island.
00:06:34.160 --> 00:06:34.720
Michael Sheen.
00:06:34.959 --> 00:06:36.000
Post from Love Island.
00:06:36.240 --> 00:06:37.279
Michael Sheen.
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:38.480
That's a huge one.
00:06:38.879 --> 00:06:39.839
Oh, Miranda Hart.
00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:41.279
She's called a liker.
00:06:41.519 --> 00:06:41.920
Ross Kemp.
00:06:42.560 --> 00:06:43.040
Yeah, Ross Kemp.
00:06:43.120 --> 00:06:43.839
He's called East Enders.
00:06:44.160 --> 00:06:45.680
Ross Kemp from East Enders.
00:06:46.079 --> 00:06:46.879
Are you a fan?
00:06:47.120 --> 00:06:49.839
Not really, but if he was good, he'll be good.
00:06:50.079 --> 00:06:50.399
Alright.
00:06:50.639 --> 00:06:52.720
He's quite he's not at all Ross Kemp, is he?
00:06:52.879 --> 00:06:53.360
In real life.
00:06:53.519 --> 00:06:54.480
That's what all shocks me too.
00:06:54.560 --> 00:06:55.279
What is he pash?
00:06:55.519 --> 00:06:56.800
Because well, it's him and Phil.
00:06:56.879 --> 00:06:58.480
They play brothers in East Enders.
00:06:58.639 --> 00:07:00.480
And they were like, and they're real East Ender gangsters.
00:07:00.879 --> 00:07:01.600
East enders, gangsters.
00:07:02.160 --> 00:07:06.160
And then but and and Phil, the actor, is Steve McFadden.
00:07:06.240 --> 00:07:07.680
Steve McFadden is similar to that.
00:07:07.839 --> 00:07:08.160
Yeah.
00:07:08.399 --> 00:07:11.360
But Ross Kemp, who plays his brother.
00:07:11.600 --> 00:07:11.920
Grant.
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:15.680
Grant, he's definitely not in real life.
00:07:15.759 --> 00:07:16.079
He'll be great.
00:07:16.319 --> 00:07:16.879
Oh no, he'll be great.
00:07:17.120 --> 00:07:17.759
Sebastian Cross.
00:07:17.920 --> 00:07:18.399
He's quite posh.
00:07:18.639 --> 00:07:19.680
He's quite posh, isn't he?
00:07:20.079 --> 00:07:21.199
And Sharon Rooney.
00:07:21.439 --> 00:07:21.680
Right.
00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:22.800
Sharon Rooney.
00:07:23.040 --> 00:07:23.199
Yeah.
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:24.000
Okay, great.
00:07:24.079 --> 00:07:24.319
Yeah.
00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:25.120
Fantastic.
00:07:25.199 --> 00:07:26.480
So that's gonna be exciting.
00:07:26.720 --> 00:07:32.079
The other thing I want to talk about that happened this week, or rather was it Sunday?
00:07:32.319 --> 00:07:34.800
The VMAs with Madonna.
00:07:35.759 --> 00:07:37.040
She won a handful of awards.
00:07:37.439 --> 00:07:38.959
She won loads and loads of awards.
00:07:39.040 --> 00:07:42.480
And every time she got up, apparently, she was a little bit more tipsy.
00:07:42.720 --> 00:07:42.959
Oh god.
00:07:43.279 --> 00:07:44.079
So it got better and better.
00:07:44.319 --> 00:07:44.800
Fantastic.
00:07:45.279 --> 00:07:46.079
Allegedly.
00:07:46.720 --> 00:07:49.199
But you know, every time she got up, she was a little more drunk.
00:07:49.439 --> 00:07:54.560
And um there was a huge um what come I don't know how to put this.
00:07:55.120 --> 00:08:01.040
The dancers they had like lasers coming out of their butts and they literally were coming out of their butts.
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:03.759
They were literal butt plugs in their butts.
00:08:04.079 --> 00:08:09.839
And then she came on stage and she had one in her butt, Madonna, and she pulled it out of her butt and threw it into the audience.
00:08:10.160 --> 00:08:13.120
Oh my god, can you imagine sitting there in the audience and then that lands in your dream?
00:08:13.360 --> 00:08:14.879
Well, that would a lot of people might like that.
00:08:15.360 --> 00:08:15.920
What do they say?
00:08:16.079 --> 00:08:17.360
Different strokes for different folks?
00:08:18.079 --> 00:08:23.839
I feel like that would be that would be especially, you know, I think maybe a few people might have liked that.
00:08:24.480 --> 00:08:25.199
Who knows, mate?
00:08:25.920 --> 00:08:26.480
Jesus Christ.
00:08:26.959 --> 00:08:30.800
But do you know that it got the most um ratings in a decade?
00:08:31.360 --> 00:08:32.879
It was hugely successful.
00:08:33.279 --> 00:08:34.559
It got like eight and a half million.
00:08:34.879 --> 00:08:35.360
The VMAs.
00:08:35.759 --> 00:08:36.720
The VMAs, yeah.
00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:42.480
Yeah, everybody's really, and apparently it looks beautiful, it looked beautiful, and everybody said it was absolutely fantastic.
00:08:42.960 --> 00:08:44.080
I'm gonna pronounce his name wrong.
00:08:44.320 --> 00:08:46.480
It's like Micah Bickman.
00:08:48.000 --> 00:08:48.799
Have a look, have a look.
00:08:49.039 --> 00:08:50.480
Micah, is it Micah Bickman?
00:08:51.039 --> 00:08:54.639
He does a lot of um pretty big does a lot of music stuff.
00:08:54.879 --> 00:08:56.080
I think he works with the weekend.
00:08:56.320 --> 00:09:01.039
You know, the weekend he has those like little mini short films for his videos, they're always really fantastic.
00:09:01.120 --> 00:09:02.240
I think he does those as well.
00:09:02.720 --> 00:09:03.519
Micah Bickman.
00:09:03.759 --> 00:09:04.080
Bickham.
00:09:04.559 --> 00:09:05.120
Oh, there you go.
00:09:05.279 --> 00:09:05.360
Right.
00:09:05.600 --> 00:09:06.080
Bickham, yeah.
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:06.639
Bickham.
00:09:06.960 --> 00:09:07.360
There you go.
00:09:07.600 --> 00:09:08.080
There you go.
00:09:08.159 --> 00:09:08.720
Good world.
00:09:08.799 --> 00:09:09.519
Give a shout out to him.
00:09:09.600 --> 00:09:09.840
Well done.
00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:14.240
You know, you mentioned last week that um Maura and Rob are doing Armour Celebrity.
00:09:14.480 --> 00:09:14.799
Yes.
00:09:15.039 --> 00:09:17.519
Not last week, two weeks ago, but last episode.
00:09:17.679 --> 00:09:18.240
Last step.
00:09:18.320 --> 00:09:18.720
Last step.
00:09:19.279 --> 00:09:26.879
This is the third time they've tried to do Armor Celebrity over here because Armour Celebrity is a huge show in England and it's been massive for like 20 years.
00:09:27.279 --> 00:09:31.039
And they tried it, I remember they've yeah, at least.
00:09:31.360 --> 00:09:33.360
And uh this is the third time they tried it.
00:09:33.440 --> 00:09:34.720
Apparently it's on Peacock.
00:09:34.879 --> 00:09:39.279
But I know um ABC tried it years ago and it was pretty bad.
00:09:39.519 --> 00:09:41.519
And I think Downtown Julie Brown won.
00:09:41.679 --> 00:09:46.399
And then they brought it, and there was some of the from dancing went on to do it, and they shot it in Australia and they did it again.
00:09:46.480 --> 00:09:49.519
And I think um Lou Diamond Phillips won, but it was a disaster.
00:09:49.600 --> 00:10:03.200
And I tried to watch it because I knew people who worked on it, and I liked the English one, and so it'd be interesting to see how they try and do it again because it just doesn't seem there's certain shows that kind of like really take off in England and really, really kind of like last, and yet they just don't work here.
00:10:03.279 --> 00:10:12.080
And that was one that they keep trying, and maybe it will this maybe third times a chance, but it's surprised that they're gonna put the money in to try this again considering it's been done twice and failed.
00:10:12.320 --> 00:10:16.000
Yeah, but there's also the opposite of that Survivor over here.
00:10:16.159 --> 00:10:16.639
How many years?
00:10:16.879 --> 00:10:18.320
Yeah, oh yeah, it works both ways.
00:10:18.399 --> 00:10:19.759
They tried, tried it in England.
00:10:19.919 --> 00:10:22.000
Last year, twice, I think.
00:10:22.080 --> 00:10:22.799
They've tried it a couple of times.
00:10:23.200 --> 00:10:25.039
My ex worked on it, went out to Borneo.
00:10:25.360 --> 00:10:26.320
There was one not that long ago.
00:10:26.639 --> 00:10:27.679
There was one in in England.
00:10:27.919 --> 00:10:37.519
They did Survivor again about three, about four years ago, and it was actually all right, but nobody it's just funny because Big Brother did massive in England, and although it's still on over here, it just kind of like limps along.
00:10:37.600 --> 00:10:39.039
It always has, it's never done that well.
00:10:39.279 --> 00:10:42.080
But like the Big Brother was massive in England and not here.
00:10:42.399 --> 00:10:44.320
Survival is the other way around.
00:10:44.559 --> 00:10:47.919
It's kind of funny how certain things just click on one.
00:10:48.159 --> 00:10:49.519
But I'm a slab, I'm surprised they're doing it.
00:10:49.759 --> 00:10:51.919
And once again, different strokes for different folks.
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:52.639
There you go.
00:10:52.720 --> 00:10:54.080
All right, moving on, let's talk about some movies.
00:10:54.240 --> 00:10:54.879
Well, before we do it.
00:10:55.039 --> 00:11:09.759
Oh no, no, we still on we still have one because another show, and because we were in our hiatus having our hiatus, which I like to call that hiatus, uh, we missed given the actual date of your show, darling.
00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:19.919
So, yeah, so last season we talked about the fact that I was appearing on Collector's Call on Me TV, the show and channel that no one has heard of.
00:11:20.240 --> 00:11:29.440
And it aired during our hiatus, and it was um it well, it aired.
00:11:29.679 --> 00:11:31.120
I Ratings through the roof.
00:11:31.360 --> 00:11:32.000
Ratings through the roof.
00:11:32.559 --> 00:11:33.600
We had dozens of viewers.
00:11:33.840 --> 00:11:34.639
Where can they find it?
00:11:35.039 --> 00:11:35.519
We'll put up a link.
00:11:35.840 --> 00:11:36.159
I don't know.
00:11:36.240 --> 00:11:38.879
I don't know if I honestly don't think you can find it.
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:48.879
I I don't I've I don't know where it uh um collector's call kind of airs once and then they will repeat the season later in the year, but they but you can't go and find it's not on YouTube.
00:11:49.120 --> 00:11:50.240
I don't know that you can find it.
00:11:50.399 --> 00:11:51.759
I think once you miss it, you miss it.
00:11:51.840 --> 00:11:52.480
It might get really.
00:11:53.039 --> 00:11:54.080
If I can find a link, I'll post it.
00:11:54.639 --> 00:11:55.440
If I can, then put it up.
00:11:55.519 --> 00:11:58.080
But I yes, I think you can find a trailer for it.
00:11:58.240 --> 00:11:59.519
Uh but it was it was fun.
00:11:59.679 --> 00:12:08.080
I don't really like seeing myself on TV, so I wasn't really wanting to watch it, but it aired on the hence the reason we don't do video on it exactly.
00:12:08.240 --> 00:12:16.080
Ah it aired obviously on the East Coast first, so I started getting texts from David, whose collection was on the show, and Charlene Tilton, who was also on the show.
00:12:16.159 --> 00:12:19.120
So they started texting me saying they'd seen it and they liked it, and what did I think?
00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:20.559
And I said, Well, I haven't seen it yet.
00:12:20.639 --> 00:12:23.440
So then I felt that I should at least take a look.
00:12:23.919 --> 00:12:24.639
I did watch it, yeah.
00:12:24.960 --> 00:12:29.919
I felt I started, I thought, well, I'll take a look to see how horrible it is, and then I ended up watching the whole thing.
00:12:30.080 --> 00:12:35.360
It was only like half an hour, but it was um it was fun, it was little bizarre.
00:12:35.600 --> 00:12:39.679
I got loads of friend requests on Facebook after it aired from people I've never heard of.
00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:43.919
But like I guess because my name's kind of pretty unique that you can look it up and find it.
00:12:44.080 --> 00:12:48.480
But I got all these friend requests from people that uh, you know, I don't know, you know, but they're yeah.
00:12:48.639 --> 00:12:49.759
So um but it wasn't.
00:12:50.240 --> 00:12:50.960
Do you know what day it aired?
00:12:51.120 --> 00:12:52.240
You should have thought you should have pointed to it.
00:12:52.559 --> 00:12:55.200
August uh, I think it was like August 2nd or something like that.
00:12:55.440 --> 00:12:59.120
But it was you should have pointed them towards two Ginger Gems, babe.
00:12:59.200 --> 00:13:05.919
If you got more people, yeah, pushed them to say, oh, if you if you liked my collector's call, here's my podcast.
00:13:06.159 --> 00:13:06.480
Yeah.
00:13:06.639 --> 00:13:11.039
Oh well, but I mean, this probably we'll probably get more listeners on our podcast than Collector's Call gets viewers.
00:13:11.200 --> 00:13:11.840
It was interesting to see.
00:13:12.080 --> 00:13:20.720
It was obviously we were there for like four hours taping and it was cut down to like 30 minutes, so it did feel very to me, it felt very chopped, but it was it was fine.
00:13:20.960 --> 00:13:21.360
It was fine.
00:13:21.440 --> 00:13:21.840
It was fine.
00:13:22.080 --> 00:13:22.639
I love it, babe.
00:13:23.200 --> 00:13:23.600
I love it.
00:13:24.080 --> 00:13:24.720
Movies.
00:13:25.279 --> 00:13:25.679
Movies.
00:13:26.000 --> 00:13:28.159
Oh, I'm very excited.
00:13:28.399 --> 00:13:29.600
You're gonna talk about Digger?
00:13:29.840 --> 00:13:32.799
We're going this weekend to see Digger.
00:13:33.440 --> 00:13:35.840
9 30 pm, first show in.
00:13:36.159 --> 00:13:38.960
You said you think it might be a musical.
00:13:39.279 --> 00:13:40.399
It's not a musical, it's not musical.
00:13:40.480 --> 00:13:40.879
People have seen it.
00:13:41.200 --> 00:13:41.679
Okay, great.
00:13:41.759 --> 00:13:43.679
Uh no, that's what there was a rumour going on.
00:13:44.000 --> 00:13:44.320
Okay, I think.
00:13:44.480 --> 00:13:47.360
I thought it might be a musical, but yeah, now you say you're going.
00:13:47.840 --> 00:13:49.360
But yeah, but now people have seen it.
00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:51.759
What was that thing that you were going to see on your own?
00:13:51.919 --> 00:13:54.080
Oh, um that'so.
00:13:54.159 --> 00:13:55.600
Oh, I didn't go on my own in the end.
00:13:55.840 --> 00:13:57.120
Oh, it went with you, did it?
00:13:58.879 --> 00:13:59.840
We had a lovely day.
00:14:00.080 --> 00:14:04.080
We had margaritas and we saw Practical Magic.
00:14:04.320 --> 00:14:05.200
I loved it.
00:14:05.360 --> 00:14:08.240
It was getting such slate, it's getting so slated everywhere.
00:14:09.360 --> 00:14:11.840
And it were and they're saying that their faces, whatever.
00:14:13.440 --> 00:14:14.559
I mean, they wasn't as bad.
00:14:14.879 --> 00:14:15.600
It wasn't as bad as people.
00:14:16.320 --> 00:14:17.120
It wasn't as bad as it can be.
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:17.679
Yeah.
00:14:17.840 --> 00:14:22.000
But actually, it was a really lovely little film, actually.
00:14:22.159 --> 00:14:29.200
And it was very um Nicole Kidman and Sandra were just so good together.
00:14:29.519 --> 00:14:31.279
Their chemistry well that made the movie, their chemistry.
00:14:31.519 --> 00:14:34.720
That made the movie, their chemistry was just off the chain.
00:14:34.960 --> 00:14:36.720
What do I keep saying off the chain?
00:14:37.039 --> 00:14:41.519
Is it because Melbourne is it because Mel B is back on bloody AGT?
00:14:41.919 --> 00:14:42.399
But I don't know.
00:14:42.559 --> 00:14:45.120
I've never even heard her say it on this season when I was there.
00:14:45.200 --> 00:14:46.480
But anyway, yeah, I keep saying it.
00:14:46.559 --> 00:14:47.200
But yes, there you go.
00:14:47.279 --> 00:14:47.919
For Mel B.
00:14:48.159 --> 00:14:50.399
Yeah, their chemistry is just so good.
00:14:50.480 --> 00:14:57.279
And it's it was such a heartfelt, and it was, you know, sisterhood, and it was just beautiful.
00:14:57.440 --> 00:14:58.240
I really liked it.
00:14:58.320 --> 00:14:59.200
I really enjoyed it.
00:14:59.279 --> 00:15:00.240
I loved the clothes.
00:15:00.480 --> 00:15:01.360
Are you going to see Digger?
00:15:01.600 --> 00:15:02.799
So, Digger was seeing this weekend.
00:15:03.200 --> 00:15:04.240
What are people saying about it?
00:15:04.639 --> 00:15:07.039
People are losing their shit about it.
00:15:07.360 --> 00:15:07.679
Is it good?
00:15:07.840 --> 00:15:08.559
Is that a good thing?
00:15:08.879 --> 00:15:10.960
No, like in the best possible way.
00:15:11.360 --> 00:15:13.039
Like people are saying this is the best.
00:15:13.519 --> 00:15:14.159
I'd love to go and see it.
00:15:14.240 --> 00:15:15.840
I wasn't, but I wasn't invited to this little hour.
00:15:16.240 --> 00:15:20.000
Come on! There's people come, if you want to come, come.
00:15:20.320 --> 00:15:20.960
No, no, no.
00:15:21.759 --> 00:15:22.240
The moment's passed.
00:15:22.879 --> 00:15:24.639
The moment hasn't passed, but we haven't gone yet.
00:15:25.200 --> 00:15:39.759
But um I am so excited to see this, and people are saying that you can because of his performance, uh Tom Cruise, you can we they're not gonna be able to ignore him anymore for awards such as Oscars, which he should have got for Magnolia.
00:15:40.000 --> 00:15:40.960
Just putting it out there.
00:15:41.039 --> 00:15:44.639
And you believe he should have got it for uh Born on the Fourth of July.
00:15:44.799 --> 00:15:45.440
Yeah, yeah.
00:15:45.600 --> 00:15:46.000
Yeah.
00:15:46.240 --> 00:15:51.279
So anyway, but I have I have my issues with the personal life of Tom Cruise, but uh that's the problem.
00:15:51.519 --> 00:15:54.320
But as a movie star, as a movie star, he's one of the best.
00:15:54.720 --> 00:15:56.240
I mean, he was so good he should have won for that.
00:15:56.399 --> 00:15:57.840
Although he was up against pretty good competition.
00:15:58.080 --> 00:16:00.639
Hey, in Magnolia, you know I found out about Magnolia.
00:16:00.879 --> 00:16:02.960
Actually, let's put that as a classic, classic movie.
00:16:03.279 --> 00:16:03.840
Magnolia.
00:16:04.080 --> 00:16:04.159
Okay.
00:16:04.399 --> 00:16:05.200
Bloody amazing.
00:16:05.360 --> 00:16:07.919
Got the uh Philip uh Seymour Hoffman.
00:16:08.159 --> 00:16:13.360
Seymour Hoffman in, got Julianne Moore in it, Jason Robards, Jason Robards.
00:16:13.600 --> 00:16:15.360
I mean, it's just the most amazing movie.
00:16:15.440 --> 00:16:16.639
And John C.
00:16:16.799 --> 00:16:17.840
Riley, one of our favourites.
00:16:18.080 --> 00:16:19.120
Yes, I was gonna say John C.
00:16:19.279 --> 00:16:24.480
Riley, and then I was thinking, was that that or was that the um you know the Dirt Diggler movie?
00:16:24.720 --> 00:16:25.679
What was that called?
00:16:25.840 --> 00:16:26.559
Boogie Nights.
00:16:26.720 --> 00:16:27.279
Boogie Nights, yeah.
00:16:27.440 --> 00:16:28.000
Boogie Nights.
00:16:28.240 --> 00:16:33.360
Um, yeah, but uh I've got to fellow ginger and a fellow ginger, babe, and Julianne Moore.
00:16:33.600 --> 00:16:34.320
Julianne Moore.
00:16:34.639 --> 00:16:39.279
Shout out for the gingers there, given our little ginger gem, Julianne Moore, who's an absolute gem.
00:16:39.759 --> 00:16:42.879
Yeah, so um, do you know that what I found out?
00:16:42.960 --> 00:16:44.480
Who directed that, babe?
00:16:44.720 --> 00:16:46.879
There was an interview with the director of Magnobia.
00:16:47.200 --> 00:16:47.840
Paul Thomas Anderson.
00:16:48.080 --> 00:16:49.120
Is it Paul Thomas Anderson?
00:16:49.519 --> 00:16:50.480
How would you say, babe?
00:16:50.559 --> 00:16:55.200
He's like he's like cult leader, yeah, like a cult, motive, like a quote unquote motivational speaker.
00:16:55.519 --> 00:17:02.559
Motivational speaker, like uh Tony Robbins, like Tony Robbins, um, but it's very towards men to become it's perfect for right now.
00:17:02.879 --> 00:17:04.240
Like that whole alpha mentality.
00:17:06.799 --> 00:17:14.319
And Tom said to uh Paul Thomas Anderson, he the first day of film, he came in first day of film and he'd rewritten the whole the monologue.
00:17:14.559 --> 00:17:18.880
So when you first see Tom, he's on stage doing this whole thing, and he'd rewritten it all.
00:17:19.200 --> 00:17:26.000
And and um Paul Thomas Anderson said, Go and do it, do it, and he did it, and he just said I was after that.
00:17:26.240 --> 00:17:32.720
But mainly Tom wrote all his own all that part of it Tom uh Tom Cruise wrote himself.
00:17:33.039 --> 00:17:34.640
Unbelievable Magnolia.
00:17:34.799 --> 00:17:37.680
But Digger, people are saying it's something we're gonna do.
00:17:37.920 --> 00:17:40.160
Well, when next week's the next episode, you're gonna tell us all about it.
00:17:40.480 --> 00:17:46.240
But yeah, so Digger, I will be reviewing that in two weeks, and I'm sure everybody will have seen it.
00:17:46.559 --> 00:17:49.440
But I hope it's a smart you know what I'm gonna do actually?
00:17:49.599 --> 00:17:52.319
I'm gonna do uh um an early preview on that.
00:17:52.480 --> 00:18:01.680
I'm gonna put it up on two ginger gems, and after we see it, we'll do where are we going, and then we'll say we're going there, and then we'll do on the way back, we'll do the review of it, and that way you get that.
00:18:01.759 --> 00:18:09.039
So we'll stick that onto well, it'll be on my own stories, but I'll put it, I'll link it to Ginger Gems so you'll be able to get that early.
00:18:09.680 --> 00:18:14.240
But my god, I'm so I I can't even tell you how how excited I'm about this.
00:18:14.799 --> 00:18:15.279
All right, beautiful.
00:18:15.440 --> 00:18:15.920
I really am excited.
00:18:16.160 --> 00:18:16.880
All right, moving on.
00:18:17.200 --> 00:18:18.400
Um some fashion.
00:18:19.599 --> 00:18:24.720
Okay, one thing about uh going back to practical magic, fashion is fall.
00:18:24.799 --> 00:18:25.920
We spoke about this before.
00:18:26.079 --> 00:18:33.359
It's all very witchy this fall, but oh my god, there are some amazing clothes out there right now.
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:47.599
It's and I'm not talking about I'm all obviously designer and all that beautiful, but in like Zara's HM's, uh Mango, there's just the most beautiful, they're making the most beautiful clothes at the moment.
00:18:47.920 --> 00:18:59.680
It's it's all this kind of witchy Stevie Nicks 70s kind of feel, but I got a jacket from I put a picture up of it from Zara, babe, the beaded one that you had to take back and get me a different size.
00:19:00.079 --> 00:19:01.519
Babe, but how amazing was that?
00:19:01.680 --> 00:19:02.240
Yeah, lovely.
00:19:02.400 --> 00:19:05.519
The bead work on it, I mean, and beautiful work.
00:19:05.680 --> 00:19:07.519
I mean, I'm blown away anyway.
00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:13.279
So, yeah, fashion-wise, it's all gonna be about the witches, it's all gonna be about 70s, it's all gonna be about boho.
00:19:13.680 --> 00:19:16.079
But the little twist to it, the little what did I say?
00:19:16.480 --> 00:19:16.880
Well, you love it.
00:19:17.200 --> 00:19:23.119
I laugh at the witches, but it's all and the little twist of it is you're gonna mix it with tailoring.
00:19:23.759 --> 00:19:34.640
I mean, like beautiful tailored pants, a beautiful tailored jacket, a beautiful tailored shirt, and then you mix it with a real boho feel.
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:37.839
And that is the look for the fall, as far as I'm concerned.
00:19:38.079 --> 00:19:46.079
Colour wise, you're still in all your browns, your navies, your emeralds, your jewel colours, your deep greys, beautiful colours.
00:19:46.240 --> 00:19:46.720
So, yeah.
00:19:46.880 --> 00:19:57.359
And another thing, just to finish uh fashion off with, there's a new documentary out um called Carl about Carl Lagerfeld, and it goes what is it out on, babe?
00:19:57.920 --> 00:19:58.319
Paramount.
00:19:58.559 --> 00:19:59.440
Paramount, when's it come out?
00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:00.559
October 6th.
00:20:00.799 --> 00:20:03.920
October the 6th on Paramount, and I'm very excited about that.
00:20:04.079 --> 00:20:06.000
Yes, isn't he the one that always wore gloves?
00:20:06.240 --> 00:20:13.759
He wore gloves, he always had the hair going back with the little ponytail, the blue the uh always wore black and white, you know, real French.
00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:15.680
His life is unbelievable.
00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:17.599
The story of his life is insane.
00:20:17.839 --> 00:20:18.559
Is he still alive?
00:20:18.720 --> 00:20:20.079
No, he died like last year.
00:20:20.400 --> 00:20:21.680
Last year I think he died, yeah.
00:20:21.839 --> 00:20:22.480
Very sad.
00:20:22.720 --> 00:20:25.920
Um, but what a life, what an amazing life he lived.
00:20:26.000 --> 00:20:27.920
Uh the documentary is gonna be fantastic.
00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:28.960
So fantastic.
00:20:29.279 --> 00:20:29.440
Yeah.
00:20:31.039 --> 00:20:32.640
Next theatre.
00:20:33.200 --> 00:20:33.440
Theatre.
00:20:33.599 --> 00:20:34.319
You went to the theatre?
00:20:34.799 --> 00:20:35.680
I'm going to the theatre.
00:20:35.839 --> 00:20:37.119
I'm going to the theatre this weekend.
00:20:37.200 --> 00:20:44.640
Laura Benanti is um doing a one-woman show called Nobody Cares, which has already been, I think, in England.
00:20:44.720 --> 00:20:46.960
And it was definitely been in Edinburgh.
00:20:47.200 --> 00:20:47.440
Okay.
00:20:47.599 --> 00:20:50.319
And maybe in England, and then again, I think it's been in New York.
00:20:50.400 --> 00:20:52.240
And it's here this weekend, everyone.
00:20:52.319 --> 00:20:54.480
So here's a gem, a weekend gem for you.
00:20:54.640 --> 00:21:00.240
Um, and it's she's at the Wallace three nights, Friday, Saturday, that's the Wallace Centre for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
00:21:00.480 --> 00:21:03.440
Yeah, and it's a one woman show, and she is amazing.
00:21:03.759 --> 00:21:05.039
What did we see her in, Babe?
00:21:05.200 --> 00:21:09.039
We saw her in that Steve Steve Mar uh Steve Martin play.
00:21:09.200 --> 00:21:12.079
Was it called Meteors or something with uh Amy Schumer?
00:21:12.319 --> 00:21:12.880
Was it Meteors?
00:21:13.119 --> 00:21:13.680
Meteors, something.
00:21:14.400 --> 00:21:14.640
Have a look.
00:21:14.799 --> 00:21:15.839
Oh yeah, I forgot we saw that.
00:21:16.079 --> 00:21:17.039
Yeah, she was great in that.
00:21:17.200 --> 00:21:22.960
She's also played, she played the mother in uh Amy Schumer's what was Amy Schumer's show, Babe.
00:21:23.200 --> 00:21:23.839
What was that called?
00:21:24.880 --> 00:21:25.599
Oh no, have a look.
00:21:26.160 --> 00:21:27.279
You mean the life of Beth?
00:21:28.079 --> 00:21:29.359
Yes, the life of Beth.
00:21:29.519 --> 00:21:30.559
Life of Beth, yeah.
00:21:30.720 --> 00:21:32.079
She played the mother in that.
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:33.039
She's great.
00:21:33.279 --> 00:21:36.160
So, yes, please go and see her this weekend if you're in LA.
00:21:36.319 --> 00:21:38.160
Nobody cares, it's called Meteor Shower.
00:21:38.559 --> 00:21:39.680
Meteor Shower, yeah.
00:21:39.839 --> 00:21:43.599
We saw which was um uh play by Steve Martin, which was fantastic.
00:21:44.079 --> 00:21:44.480
Excellent.
00:21:44.720 --> 00:21:47.039
And the visit, which we spoke about two weeks ago.
00:21:47.279 --> 00:21:48.559
We're finally seeing it this weekend.
00:21:48.640 --> 00:21:49.279
I think it's gonna be a little bit more.
00:21:50.559 --> 00:21:50.720
Yeah.
00:21:51.119 --> 00:21:51.359
Yeah.
00:21:51.599 --> 00:21:55.359
Finally getting to see some stuff because we really haven't been for a while, have we?
00:21:55.519 --> 00:21:55.680
No.
00:21:55.920 --> 00:21:58.799
So it was big in deadline that Idol is leaving.
00:21:58.880 --> 00:21:59.759
It's now all over the press.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:01.920
That AGT is probably leaving.
00:22:02.160 --> 00:22:03.519
And by leaving, you mean leaving Los Angeles?
00:22:03.759 --> 00:22:04.480
Leaving Los Angeles.
00:22:04.880 --> 00:22:05.279
Oh, yeah.
00:22:05.440 --> 00:22:05.599
Yeah.
00:22:05.759 --> 00:22:07.039
So uh any thoughts?
00:22:07.200 --> 00:22:09.920
Any and any comments about well, I think everything is, isn't it?
00:22:10.240 --> 00:22:10.720
That's the point.
00:22:10.799 --> 00:22:13.519
You know, it is things of um Mass Singh has already gone.
00:22:13.759 --> 00:22:14.640
Massing has gone, I believe.
00:22:15.119 --> 00:22:16.559
Idle's already gone, they've gone to Atlanta.
00:22:17.200 --> 00:22:18.079
Idle's gone to Atlanta.
00:22:18.319 --> 00:22:18.640
Um, yeah.
00:22:19.119 --> 00:22:19.599
That's what I'm saying.
00:22:19.680 --> 00:22:21.279
That's the thing now that now that it's official.
00:22:21.359 --> 00:22:25.279
They were saying, and there was some comment about oh, something needs to be done.
00:22:25.359 --> 00:22:26.880
It's like, isn't it's too late?
00:22:27.039 --> 00:22:28.799
Something needs to be done 15 years ago.
00:22:29.519 --> 00:22:34.720
But now there's even like Price is Right is talking about moving to everyone's gonna leave it.
00:22:34.960 --> 00:22:35.759
That's what they're trying to do.
00:22:35.839 --> 00:22:36.880
That's what the whole plan is to get.
00:22:37.359 --> 00:22:40.880
But California California into a different different.
00:22:41.279 --> 00:22:49.680
But California's saying, Well, we're gonna do these tax incentives, and they did some, but they missed, they excluded like reality competition shows and game shows.
00:22:50.000 --> 00:22:55.039
So all the big reality shows, like you think American Idol that's been going now for 25 years, it's the 25th season coming up.
00:22:55.200 --> 00:22:56.559
So 25 years that's been going.
00:22:56.799 --> 00:22:58.319
AGT's been on 20 plus.
00:22:58.559 --> 00:22:59.200
Yeah, 20 years.
00:22:59.519 --> 00:23:01.599
Mass Singer's been on for like seven or eight or whatever.
00:23:01.920 --> 00:23:04.720
But like, so now they're um they've all gone.
00:23:04.799 --> 00:23:07.359
And it's like how many?
00:23:07.440 --> 00:23:09.759
I mean, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of jobs have gone.
00:23:10.160 --> 00:23:12.640
And I don't know how long it's gonna be before that is gonna be.
00:23:18.160 --> 00:23:19.680
Who's trying to change California?
00:23:19.839 --> 00:23:32.960
They don't want California to be a stuff, they're trying to split it up because if there's no if there aren't people, if there's not film or TV here, the person, the people who are here who are very liberal, will be moving somewhere else.
00:23:33.200 --> 00:23:34.720
All right, so what are the gems of the week?
00:23:34.880 --> 00:23:37.359
I want to go with Survivor because it was it's always good.
00:23:37.599 --> 00:23:42.319
I'm gonna go with traitors, USA, and celebrity traitors, even though I'm not sure if it's a lot of it.
00:23:43.119 --> 00:23:44.720
And even though we haven't seen it, we know it's gonna be fabulous.
00:23:44.960 --> 00:23:46.079
We know it's gonna be fabulous.
00:23:46.240 --> 00:23:48.960
Um, stars with the stars doing well again.
00:23:50.240 --> 00:23:51.279
The season is fabulous.
00:23:51.440 --> 00:23:52.720
The stars are great on it.
00:23:52.799 --> 00:23:53.440
Please watch.
00:23:53.680 --> 00:23:55.920
You're gonna say Madonna, even though I didn't see it.
00:23:56.160 --> 00:24:03.359
Yeah, I'm gonna say Madonna, and I'm just gonna quickly jump in there with um it's a shame let's do better for anyone who's been dis in Madonna.
00:24:03.519 --> 00:24:09.839
Because again, because anytime she shows her face or anything, she gets all the bloody, you know, what do you call it?
00:24:10.319 --> 00:24:11.200
She gets a lot of hate.
00:24:11.359 --> 00:24:14.400
She yeah, it's more than hate, but yeah, she gets a lot of hate.
00:24:14.559 --> 00:24:15.359
She gets a lot of hate.
00:24:16.160 --> 00:24:16.880
I said hate, but you don't.
00:24:17.200 --> 00:24:17.519
She gets hate.
00:24:17.599 --> 00:24:18.240
She gets hate in it.
00:24:18.480 --> 00:24:20.720
She gets hate, she gets hate and a lot of ageism.
00:24:21.119 --> 00:24:23.359
Well, you know, grandma da da da da da da.
00:24:23.519 --> 00:24:24.160
Do you know what I mean?
00:24:24.240 --> 00:24:27.759
That no man, I mean, Nick Jagger can run around a stage.
00:24:28.000 --> 00:24:29.119
Nobody gives a shit.
00:24:29.279 --> 00:24:33.119
She runs around the stage, it's all like, oh, she's too old, sit down, blah da da.
00:24:33.519 --> 00:24:34.559
Anyway, it's a shame.
00:24:34.640 --> 00:24:35.519
Let's do better.
00:24:35.680 --> 00:24:36.960
Let's do better with that.
00:24:37.039 --> 00:24:45.039
And let a woman do if she can still do it, and she can still do it, she's proven it by winning all the war the awards at the VMAs.
00:24:45.200 --> 00:24:47.519
Let her fucking shine her fucking light, bae.
00:24:47.599 --> 00:24:48.000
There you go.
00:24:48.160 --> 00:24:48.559
There you go.
00:24:49.119 --> 00:24:50.640
Magnolia made the gem cut.
00:24:50.720 --> 00:24:50.960
Oh, absolutely.
00:24:52.400 --> 00:24:54.079
Oh my god, so good.
00:24:54.480 --> 00:24:56.960
Um well, we're not sure if Digger did yet, but we're gonna find out.
00:24:57.759 --> 00:24:58.160
We'll let you know.
00:24:58.559 --> 00:24:59.440
Digger in until we know.
00:24:59.519 --> 00:25:03.519
But I think from what I'm hearing, I would say a thousand percent yes.
00:25:03.839 --> 00:25:11.039
And then I'm gonna go, I'm gonna say that the accordate, the fashion from Practical Magic 2 made the gem cut.
00:25:11.200 --> 00:25:11.279
Yeah.
00:25:12.559 --> 00:25:14.960
I like the I like particularly the um the ant.
00:25:15.440 --> 00:25:16.559
Well, anything witchy.
00:25:16.799 --> 00:25:17.359
Yeah, everything's a very good thing.
00:25:17.440 --> 00:25:18.400
So she loves a witchy vibe.
00:25:19.039 --> 00:25:19.519
I love a witchy.
00:25:19.759 --> 00:25:20.160
What can I say?
00:25:20.240 --> 00:25:21.200
I love a witchy vibe.
00:25:21.359 --> 00:25:21.440
Right.
00:25:21.680 --> 00:25:23.359
Um, yeah, and Carl Lagerfeld.
00:25:23.599 --> 00:25:24.079
Pick a card.
00:25:24.240 --> 00:25:24.880
Carl Lagerfeld.
00:25:25.119 --> 00:25:29.359
Well, we haven't seen it, but no, but this man has had an extraordinary life.
00:25:29.680 --> 00:25:33.039
If I if anybody did a documentary on him, it's gonna be amazing.
00:25:33.200 --> 00:25:34.240
So I'm very excited about it.
00:25:34.480 --> 00:25:35.440
All right, Kate's picking a card.
00:25:38.319 --> 00:25:43.519
From my cat, yeah, Wondering Star, which we spoke about by um Kat Pierce, who sold our house.
00:25:43.839 --> 00:25:44.240
Oh, she had.
00:25:44.400 --> 00:25:45.359
So I wonder, yes.
00:25:45.519 --> 00:25:48.079
So I hope that somebody who listened to this went and bought it.
00:25:48.480 --> 00:25:49.119
Wouldn't that be amazing?
00:25:49.680 --> 00:25:50.000
For how much?
00:25:50.160 --> 00:25:50.960
Wouldn't that be in cool?
00:25:51.119 --> 00:25:51.359
I don't know.
00:25:51.519 --> 00:25:52.480
I don't know what it's sold for.
00:25:52.559 --> 00:25:54.960
It was up for about, I think it was one, three, or four.
00:25:55.200 --> 00:25:57.440
It wasn't that expensive, but it was a beautiful house.
00:25:58.079 --> 00:26:02.559
Massive, up in like Silver Lake, maybe that airway.
00:26:03.039 --> 00:26:03.200
Okay.
00:26:03.759 --> 00:26:04.000
Yeah.
00:26:05.119 --> 00:26:10.400
I will tell you as well that I came, I was driving up uh beach with the other day, and the Hollywood sign was lit up, which you never see.
00:26:10.640 --> 00:26:10.960
Oh, stop!
00:26:11.359 --> 00:26:12.640
And it was just really impressive.
00:26:12.880 --> 00:26:17.680
In fact, I was driving up Gower from like Melrose, so from all the way back, you saw it lit up, and it looked so cool.
00:26:17.759 --> 00:26:20.480
And as I got closer and closer, you could see that there was some projection on it.
00:26:20.640 --> 00:26:22.079
I couldn't really work out what it was.
00:26:22.240 --> 00:26:25.920
But I parked up and I went and I tried to take a photograph of it, but it didn't really show it.
00:26:26.160 --> 00:26:26.720
So we don't know why.
00:26:27.039 --> 00:26:27.759
It was really, really cool.
00:26:28.240 --> 00:26:30.799
And so I so I Googled it to find out the next day.
00:26:30.880 --> 00:26:35.599
And it was they were the Fast and the Furious were promoting the their movie.
00:26:35.680 --> 00:26:39.279
And they projected Hollywood Drift, so they projected onto the sign.
00:26:39.440 --> 00:26:44.079
And they have, I mean, I think the their footage of it is very, very impressive.
00:26:44.160 --> 00:26:54.319
Though I actually, as uh someone standing in the hills looking at it, you couldn't really tell what it was, but it was so cool to see it lit up, and I wish they'd lighted up the whole time because it looks so cool.
00:26:54.559 --> 00:26:55.599
Well, maybe they'll leave it.
00:26:55.759 --> 00:26:57.839
Well, it would it one night one night.
00:26:58.160 --> 00:27:00.480
Sometimes if I were to leave it, because that's how it all started.
00:27:00.559 --> 00:27:01.920
That's how Hollywood land started.
00:27:02.160 --> 00:27:03.599
It was just a sign to be put up there.
00:27:04.000 --> 00:27:04.720
It's beautiful to leave it.
00:27:05.759 --> 00:27:07.359
I don't understand why they can't light it.
00:27:07.680 --> 00:27:08.480
It's all expensive.
00:27:10.960 --> 00:27:16.880
The people who live near it complain again about it and say that they don't want it lit up because they said that too many people it draws people into the area.
00:27:17.119 --> 00:27:17.519
I get that.
00:27:17.599 --> 00:27:19.519
Uh but like, well, then don't live near the Hollywood sign.
00:27:19.680 --> 00:27:22.480
It's like it's like living next to the Eiffel Tower saying it's tourists everywhere.
00:27:22.559 --> 00:27:22.799
Yeah.
00:27:22.960 --> 00:27:27.119
You know, there's like don't live next to the Hollywood sign if you don't want tourists to come near near your job.
00:27:28.160 --> 00:27:28.559
I would hate that.
00:27:28.720 --> 00:27:30.000
But then live somewhere else.
00:27:31.440 --> 00:27:33.119
And all the people standing outside our door.
00:27:33.279 --> 00:27:33.920
Oh my god.
00:27:34.400 --> 00:27:36.160
But it looked, it looked so cool.
00:27:37.599 --> 00:27:38.559
Oh, I love that.
00:27:38.720 --> 00:27:39.920
That's how it should always be.
00:27:40.079 --> 00:27:40.640
Oh, yeah, that's cool.
00:27:41.440 --> 00:27:42.000
That's how it should always be.
00:27:42.079 --> 00:27:43.119
We'll put a picture on Bit Paper.
00:27:43.519 --> 00:27:43.920
Yeah, we'll get it.
00:27:45.279 --> 00:27:46.000
We'll post that picture.
00:27:46.079 --> 00:27:47.440
And that drive north on Gower.
00:27:47.599 --> 00:27:48.079
That's one of the best.
00:27:48.319 --> 00:27:50.240
Oh, that's one of the best drive straight out.
00:27:52.880 --> 00:27:53.519
You get a great view.
00:27:53.839 --> 00:27:54.079
I love it.
00:27:54.240 --> 00:27:54.640
All right, babe.
00:27:54.880 --> 00:27:55.440
You got a card?
00:27:55.599 --> 00:27:56.400
I got a card.
00:27:56.480 --> 00:27:58.559
It's the Ten of Pentacles.
00:27:59.599 --> 00:28:06.240
And this is pointing towards inheritance, family, and property.
00:28:06.480 --> 00:28:06.720
Okay.
00:28:07.039 --> 00:28:13.759
Funnily enough, as I was shuffling the cards, we were talking about Kat Pierce's property you start selling, which is quite weird.
00:28:14.079 --> 00:28:15.359
Are we related to her in any way?
00:28:15.839 --> 00:28:17.119
Oh, I wish I was related to her.
00:28:17.200 --> 00:28:18.000
She's fantastic.
00:28:18.240 --> 00:28:20.960
Um, so that's that that's this week.
00:28:21.039 --> 00:28:22.160
So I don't know everybody.
00:28:22.319 --> 00:28:32.559
I don't know everybody's had their right hand itching for a bit of money coming your way, but I feel like maybe money's gonna come your way, maybe through an inheritance, through a family member, or maybe not in a bad way.
00:28:33.359 --> 00:28:35.200
Not in a bad way, in a good way.
00:28:35.359 --> 00:28:36.319
Um, yeah.
00:28:36.559 --> 00:28:38.880
So that's that's a bit exciting, isn't it?
00:28:39.359 --> 00:28:40.240
Inheritance.
00:28:40.400 --> 00:28:42.720
Okay, family, cool, property.
00:28:42.960 --> 00:28:44.640
Mmm, yeah, there you go.
00:28:44.720 --> 00:28:46.640
This week might get some luck, someone.
00:28:46.799 --> 00:28:49.680
And if you do get some luck, let us know about it.
00:28:49.920 --> 00:28:54.480
Send us a send us a um an email and a check.
00:28:54.880 --> 00:28:58.480
Share the well, send a check to at two ginger gems.
00:28:58.720 --> 00:29:00.960

00:29:01.039 --> 00:29:03.200
Yeah, two ginger gems at gmail.com.

And also, while we're here, we're always saying that, we also send us any requests, anything you want to talk about, questions.
00:29:10.160 --> 00:29:12.000
James would like a couple of checks.
00:29:12.160 --> 00:29:13.920
And yeah, um, yeah.
00:29:14.079 --> 00:29:17.759
And please give us a thumbs up, subscribe.
00:29:18.160 --> 00:29:18.960
Thank you all for listening.
00:29:19.039 --> 00:29:20.240
We really listening.
00:29:20.319 --> 00:29:20.960
We're doing it.
00:29:21.200 --> 00:29:22.480
We forgot the one thing.
00:29:22.720 --> 00:29:24.640
What is this week's cocktail, Mickey?
00:29:24.799 --> 00:29:25.680
Mickey's margarita.
00:29:25.759 --> 00:29:26.240
Oh, it's a great.
00:29:26.319 --> 00:29:26.799
How do you make it?
00:29:27.920 --> 00:29:30.079
We will put it up, but tell them how you make it just quickly.
00:29:30.559 --> 00:29:31.200
The best margarita.
00:29:31.759 --> 00:29:33.200
And tell them the tequila and everything.
00:29:33.279 --> 00:29:34.079
It's 818.
00:29:34.400 --> 00:29:35.440
Three ounces eight one eight.
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:42.720
Three ounces eight one eight, one ounce Grand Marnier, uh, about an ounce and a quarter of agave.
00:29:43.519 --> 00:29:49.440
Uh, one to one and a quarter uh lines and shake.
00:29:49.759 --> 00:29:53.599
Ice shake with that ice go back to Tom Cruise, like cocktail.
00:29:53.680 --> 00:29:54.160
That's a good movie.
00:29:54.240 --> 00:29:54.880
Stick that in classic.
00:29:55.200 --> 00:29:56.000
Fucking delicious.
00:29:56.160 --> 00:29:57.359
Yes, it's so good.
00:29:57.519 --> 00:29:58.799
Mickey's margarita.
00:29:58.960 --> 00:30:01.039
We will put the ingredients up for you all.
00:30:01.200 --> 00:30:08.640
So thank you for joining us, and we'll see you fortnightly for Funday Friday at five.
00:30:08.880 --> 00:30:12.000
Because it's five o'clock somewhere.
00:30:12.400 --> 00:30:13.039
Thank you very much.
00:30:13.440 --> 00:30:13.759
Thank you.
00:30:14.240 --> 00:30:14.559
Thank you.
00:30:15.039 --> 00:30:15.440
Bye.
00:30:16.720 --> 00:30:17.759
Fucking hell.
00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:06.559
From beautiful Hollywood, California, please welcome to Ginger Gems with Kate and James.
00:00:06.959 --> 00:00:08.400
Oh babe.
00:00:08.640 --> 00:00:09.279
We've had a fortnight.
00:00:09.359 --> 00:00:10.080
We've had a fortnight.
00:00:12.480 --> 00:00:18.879
So a lot of uh three months to get ready for the last one, and we got everything last week.
00:00:19.120 --> 00:00:19.519
We've got everything.
00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:21.760
Oh my god, we forgot to do the gems at the end.
00:00:22.320 --> 00:00:22.559
All of it.
00:00:22.640 --> 00:00:23.120
Yeah, we forgot.
00:00:23.679 --> 00:00:23.839
Sorry.
00:00:24.399 --> 00:00:24.719
All good.
00:00:24.879 --> 00:00:25.519
I mean good.
00:00:25.679 --> 00:00:25.920
Yeah.
00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:27.440
And thank everybody for listening.
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:28.079
My God.
00:00:28.239 --> 00:00:29.039
Well done, everyone.
00:00:29.280 --> 00:00:37.039
Everyone came back, and um apparently a few people said that they were expecting it on YouTube, even though we did say it wasn't on YouTube on the last one.
00:00:37.200 --> 00:00:41.439
To everybody just find the podcast where you find all podcasts.
00:00:41.600 --> 00:00:42.719
So it's very, very simple.
00:00:42.799 --> 00:00:49.600
So wherever you listen to it, unless we're the only podcast you'll listen to, and thank you for that, you can find it wherever you listen to your other podcasts.
00:00:49.840 --> 00:00:50.799
Mickey, put a link up.
00:00:50.880 --> 00:00:51.280
How's your week?
00:00:52.159 --> 00:00:52.960
How's your week, babe?
00:00:53.039 --> 00:00:53.520
Hello, Mickey.
00:00:53.840 --> 00:00:54.960
How are my two weeks?
00:00:55.520 --> 00:00:56.560
How was your how was your fortnight?
00:00:56.719 --> 00:00:57.600
How was my fortnight?
00:00:57.679 --> 00:00:58.240
It was good.
00:00:58.560 --> 00:01:00.399
Kaz and her husband had stayed.
00:01:00.719 --> 00:01:02.000
They came over to visit me.
00:01:02.240 --> 00:01:02.880
And they came to visit me.
00:01:03.039 --> 00:01:03.759
You finally met Kaz.
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:05.280
Yeah, you finally met Kaz.
00:01:05.680 --> 00:01:09.519
And um, and then they went back and then we had Ralph here.
00:01:09.920 --> 00:01:10.400
Oh, that's right.
00:01:10.480 --> 00:01:10.879
Yeah, that's right.
00:01:12.079 --> 00:01:13.120
Yeah, okay, went to the show.
00:01:13.359 --> 00:01:15.120
Ralph was here for a couple of nights.
00:01:15.359 --> 00:01:15.599
Good people.
00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:17.040
And um, yeah, yeah.
00:01:17.200 --> 00:01:18.400
Yes, now we're back.
00:01:18.640 --> 00:01:21.680
We're back at the helm of two ginger gems.
00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:22.799
Two ginger gems.
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:27.680
Since I saw you last, I went to England for a week and then I've been back for well, since the weekend.
00:01:28.239 --> 00:01:33.359
Um, and uh just back into the silliness of life in Los Angeles.
00:01:33.519 --> 00:01:34.079
Yeah, yeah.
00:01:34.159 --> 00:01:34.400
Yeah.
00:01:34.560 --> 00:01:37.280
And I'm back on with obviously Dancing with the Stars.
00:01:37.519 --> 00:01:38.879
We spoke about that two weeks ago.
00:01:38.959 --> 00:01:44.640
We had our premiere, and now we've had two more shows, lost two more celebrities this week.
00:01:44.799 --> 00:01:46.560
We lost Taylor and Brit.
00:01:47.120 --> 00:01:48.959
Taylor, who was with what are they called Hanson.
00:01:49.200 --> 00:01:49.920
The Henson Brothers.
00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:50.480
What's the song?
00:01:50.560 --> 00:01:51.040
The Hensons.
00:01:51.280 --> 00:01:51.599
The song.
00:01:51.680 --> 00:01:52.239
Mm-hmm.
00:01:52.480 --> 00:01:53.200
Mm-hmm.
00:01:55.040 --> 00:01:56.799
I don't think they were that were they that big in England?
00:01:57.359 --> 00:01:58.000
That was the only one.
00:01:58.400 --> 00:01:59.439
That's the only song you've known.
00:01:59.840 --> 00:02:00.319
I can think of.
00:02:00.560 --> 00:02:02.319
Oh, so even in America, it's not like they had a bigger one.
00:02:02.480 --> 00:02:07.920
No, I'm sure I'm sure there were, but you know, if you were a 12-year-old girl, you didn't mean I know you were a big one.
00:02:08.400 --> 00:02:09.599
You liked him, didn't you, Mickey?
00:02:09.840 --> 00:02:10.639
I like you as a big one.
00:02:10.960 --> 00:02:11.439
Big fem.
00:02:12.319 --> 00:02:12.960
Huge.
00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:14.719
But yeah.
00:02:14.879 --> 00:02:18.159
So um yeah, we yeah, this week he he went with Brit.
00:02:18.479 --> 00:02:19.120
I do love Brit.
00:02:19.439 --> 00:02:21.120
So um And the show's doing well.
00:02:21.439 --> 00:02:22.719
Show's doing well, yeah.
00:02:22.800 --> 00:02:24.240
Everybody seems very happy with it.
00:02:24.319 --> 00:02:30.240
We had this week was last week was uh viral hits week, and we lost the um Italian chef.
00:02:30.800 --> 00:02:31.199
Giada.
00:02:31.599 --> 00:02:32.000
Giada.
00:02:32.319 --> 00:02:33.439
And then this week is Alan.
00:02:33.520 --> 00:02:34.639
Love my lovely Alan.
00:02:34.800 --> 00:02:36.960
I'm loving the I'm loving the pros that have gone.
00:02:37.039 --> 00:02:37.759
That's my problem.
00:02:37.919 --> 00:02:40.400
Because I love Alan and I love um Brit.
00:02:40.800 --> 00:02:42.080
So I'm sad that they've gone.
00:02:42.240 --> 00:02:43.280
This week was yacht rock.
00:02:43.919 --> 00:02:45.360
I've never heard that term, yacht rock.
00:02:45.599 --> 00:02:46.400
How can you never have it?
00:02:46.560 --> 00:02:47.199
I've never heard that term.
00:02:47.360 --> 00:02:49.039
I didn't know when they're on about that, it was yacht rock.
00:02:49.120 --> 00:02:50.319
I didn't know what the hell they're on about.
00:02:50.560 --> 00:02:53.439
Oh, I honestly, when I saw it on the list, I lost my chip.
00:02:53.520 --> 00:02:54.319
I was like, no.
00:02:54.719 --> 00:02:57.599
I still don't really understand it what it was, but maybe we don't have many yachts where I think.
00:02:57.919 --> 00:03:01.520
If you're on a yacht, this is the kind of music you want to listen to, yeah.
00:03:01.680 --> 00:03:02.319
It's kind of soft.
00:03:03.199 --> 00:03:04.400
Isn't that a little rock?
00:03:04.800 --> 00:03:06.960
Isn't that a little narrower field?
00:03:07.039 --> 00:03:08.080
Like, what would you you know?
00:03:08.159 --> 00:03:11.199
It's like saying, well, if you were on a fire engine, what music would you want to listen to?
00:03:12.159 --> 00:03:13.919
Because on a fire engine, you're not just in hurting.
00:03:14.240 --> 00:03:15.599
You're off to put out a fire.
00:03:15.680 --> 00:03:17.680
You're but there's possible dangerous things gonna happen.
00:03:18.879 --> 00:03:20.400
On yacht, have you been on a yacht, boat?
00:03:20.479 --> 00:03:22.560
Have you ever heard of on a party on a yacht?
00:03:22.800 --> 00:03:23.199
Yes, starling.
00:03:23.520 --> 00:03:24.240
You sunbathed on a yacht.
00:03:24.479 --> 00:03:30.639
For my 50th, which which is obviously very recent, I had a tour about 20 years ago.
00:03:30.719 --> 00:03:31.199
Carry on.
00:03:31.360 --> 00:03:34.080
You went on a yacht, exactly, but was it a big yacht or a small yacht?
00:03:34.319 --> 00:03:40.080
It was not a massive yacht, but they were I don't remember what music we had on it, and I certainly didn't think, oh, this would be a good theme for dancing.
00:03:40.240 --> 00:03:41.680
Oh no, it's a great theme for dancing.
00:03:41.919 --> 00:03:44.159
Well yacht rock has had a resurgence.
00:03:44.400 --> 00:03:45.520
So recent it's massive.
00:03:45.680 --> 00:03:47.120
There's even a doco about it.
00:03:47.199 --> 00:03:49.199
Oh no, it's very big, it's huge.
00:03:49.520 --> 00:03:53.759
For me personally, yacht rock is uh so nostalgic.
00:03:54.080 --> 00:04:11.199
It's just anything, because it's usually summer music, so it usually transports you to some summer time of your life, and um and as holidays, romance, everything like that just comes into your head when you hear these songs or a great time in your life, you know.
00:04:11.520 --> 00:04:14.319
Last time we talked about the fact that there was all the new stuff starting.
00:04:14.400 --> 00:04:21.920
Well, so there's traitors obviously, traitors US, traitors UK, celebrity traitors started this week.
00:04:22.160 --> 00:04:23.199
I'm really excited about that.
00:04:23.360 --> 00:04:24.720
Yeah, I'm gonna definitely be watching that.
00:04:25.040 --> 00:04:26.879
Who are some of the big uh people on that one?
00:04:27.120 --> 00:04:29.120
The I'm trying to think the Jerry Hall.
00:04:29.360 --> 00:04:30.000
Jerry Hall.
00:04:30.079 --> 00:04:30.240
Okay.
00:04:30.399 --> 00:04:31.519
Um I met Jerry Hall.
00:04:31.680 --> 00:04:32.959
I work with Jerry Hall on something, actually.
00:04:33.199 --> 00:04:33.519
Oh, really?
00:04:33.680 --> 00:04:34.800
She's actually lovely, yeah.
00:04:34.959 --> 00:04:37.040
And also Sasha Baron Cohen.
00:04:37.519 --> 00:04:40.480
And one night I stole his jacket, and he never knew that.
00:04:40.639 --> 00:04:44.879
We were in the bar downstairs, and I went upstairs and I stole his jacket, and I took it home.
00:04:45.040 --> 00:04:50.319
And the next morning I woke up and I saw his jacket hanging on my door.
00:04:51.120 --> 00:04:55.199
So I had to get it back to LWT and back in there before anybody noticed.
00:04:55.279 --> 00:04:55.920
And I did do that.
00:04:56.160 --> 00:04:57.199
Come and get it, Sasha.
00:04:57.759 --> 00:04:57.839
Yeah.
00:04:58.160 --> 00:04:59.360
He was on the table tourists.
00:04:59.519 --> 00:05:00.079
He was right next to it.
00:05:00.399 --> 00:05:01.279
When Russell won the DJ.
00:05:01.839 --> 00:05:02.879
When Russell won the DJ awards.
00:05:03.839 --> 00:05:07.920
Him and Ayla were like on Instagram posting photos and looking at things about themselves.
00:05:08.319 --> 00:05:10.480
It's because you weren't watching anything, but what they were doing both.
00:05:11.199 --> 00:05:12.560
It was much more interesting.
00:05:12.800 --> 00:05:16.560
Russell won the DJ and Kate wasn't well so I so I went and Kate's place.
00:05:17.199 --> 00:05:18.399
You went as Mickey's date.
00:05:18.480 --> 00:05:22.639
And uh as Mickey's date, and it was the best DJ awards you've ever been to, wasn't it, Mickey?
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:23.759
I remember you saying more than once.
00:05:24.240 --> 00:05:24.639
Memorable.
00:05:24.959 --> 00:05:25.279
Yeah.
00:05:25.519 --> 00:05:27.600
And Sasha Barncorn was on the next table with it.
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:28.720
And he was cold, wasn't he?
00:05:28.800 --> 00:05:30.079
Because his jacket was missing, apparently.
00:05:31.680 --> 00:05:33.920
I remember shivering when he was on Instagram, yeah.
00:05:34.560 --> 00:05:35.040
Yeah, anyway.
00:05:35.439 --> 00:05:35.759
Richard E.
00:05:35.839 --> 00:05:36.560
Grant, is that who he's gonna do?
00:05:36.720 --> 00:05:36.959
Richard E.
00:05:37.040 --> 00:05:37.199
Grant.
00:05:37.360 --> 00:05:37.600
Richard E.
00:05:37.680 --> 00:05:38.560
Grant Richard E.
00:05:38.720 --> 00:05:38.879
Grant.
00:05:39.920 --> 00:05:40.639
He's on Richard E.
00:05:40.800 --> 00:05:43.199
Grant is on the Traitors UK celebrity traitors.
00:05:43.279 --> 00:05:45.519
And on the There's a whole list, babe, bring the list up.
00:05:45.680 --> 00:05:46.319
I got the list.
00:05:46.480 --> 00:05:47.120
Call them out.
00:05:47.360 --> 00:05:49.120
Well, I don't a lot of them are very English people.
00:05:49.199 --> 00:05:51.199
I don't know that the people they're gonna know Julia Hesmanhall.
00:05:51.279 --> 00:05:51.600
Yeah, it's not a good thing.
00:05:51.680 --> 00:05:51.920
I don't know.
00:05:52.560 --> 00:05:53.519
Oh, babe, read them out.
00:05:53.680 --> 00:05:54.560
We can edit this.
00:05:54.639 --> 00:05:55.199
Just read them out.
00:05:55.360 --> 00:05:56.879
Because there are some good people on there.
00:05:57.120 --> 00:05:58.319
Emole Rajan.
00:05:58.399 --> 00:05:58.720
There you go.
00:05:58.959 --> 00:06:00.560
Who's a journalist and broadcaster?
00:06:00.720 --> 00:06:02.079
Bella Ramsey, the actress.
00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:03.279
Oh, Bella Ramsey.
00:06:03.360 --> 00:06:04.000
Everyone will know her.
00:06:04.319 --> 00:06:04.720
Hannah Fry.
00:06:05.199 --> 00:06:06.000
What's it called, babe?
00:06:06.079 --> 00:06:07.040
Bella Ramsey.
00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:07.759
The Last of Us.
00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:08.560
The Last of Us.
00:06:08.720 --> 00:06:09.600
That's very big here.
00:06:10.000 --> 00:06:11.759
Hannah Fry, James Acaster.
00:06:11.839 --> 00:06:12.079
Yeah.
00:06:12.240 --> 00:06:12.800
James Blunt.
00:06:13.199 --> 00:06:13.839
James Blunt.
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:14.800
Everyone will know him.
00:06:15.040 --> 00:06:15.680
Jerry Hall.
00:06:16.000 --> 00:06:16.639
Jerry Hall, yes.
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:17.680
Joanne McNally.
00:06:18.079 --> 00:06:18.319
Yes.
00:06:18.959 --> 00:06:19.759
Joe Lysett.
00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:20.319
Very good.
00:06:20.399 --> 00:06:20.800
Very funny.
00:06:21.439 --> 00:06:22.079
Husmendalg.
00:06:22.160 --> 00:06:22.240
Yep.
00:06:22.319 --> 00:06:23.360
You speak in Coronation Street.
00:06:23.519 --> 00:06:24.079
King Kenny.
00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:25.279
And she was in Broadchurch.
00:06:25.759 --> 00:06:26.639
Lee Ann Pinnock.
00:06:26.800 --> 00:06:27.279
Is he a boxer?
00:06:27.439 --> 00:06:28.959
No, he's a social media personality.
00:06:29.040 --> 00:06:30.160
It says maybe he boxes.
00:06:30.240 --> 00:06:30.399
I don't know.
00:06:30.560 --> 00:06:31.360
I was hoping he was a boxer.
00:06:31.439 --> 00:06:32.879
Maya Jammer from Love Island.
00:06:32.959 --> 00:06:33.920
Oh, Love Island.
00:06:34.160 --> 00:06:34.720
Michael Sheen.
00:06:34.959 --> 00:06:36.000
Post from Love Island.
00:06:36.240 --> 00:06:37.279
Michael Sheen.
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:38.480
That's a huge one.
00:06:38.879 --> 00:06:39.839
Oh, Miranda Hart.
00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:41.279
She's called a liker.
00:06:41.519 --> 00:06:41.920
Ross Kemp.
00:06:42.560 --> 00:06:43.040
Yeah, Ross Kemp.
00:06:43.120 --> 00:06:43.839
He's called East Enders.
00:06:44.160 --> 00:06:45.680
Ross Kemp from East Enders.
00:06:46.079 --> 00:06:46.879
Are you a fan?
00:06:47.120 --> 00:06:49.839
Not really, but if he was good, he'll be good.
00:06:50.079 --> 00:06:50.399
Alright.
00:06:50.639 --> 00:06:52.720
He's quite he's not at all Ross Kemp, is he?
00:06:52.879 --> 00:06:53.360
In real life.
00:06:53.519 --> 00:06:54.480
That's what all shocks me too.
00:06:54.560 --> 00:06:55.279
What is he pash?
00:06:55.519 --> 00:06:56.800
Because well, it's him and Phil.
00:06:56.879 --> 00:06:58.480
They play brothers in East Enders.
00:06:58.639 --> 00:07:00.480
And they were like, and they're real East Ender gangsters.
00:07:00.879 --> 00:07:01.600
East enders, gangsters.
00:07:02.160 --> 00:07:06.160
And then but and and Phil, the actor, is Steve McFadden.
00:07:06.240 --> 00:07:07.680
Steve McFadden is similar to that.
00:07:07.839 --> 00:07:08.160
Yeah.
00:07:08.399 --> 00:07:11.360
But Ross Kemp, who plays his brother.
00:07:11.600 --> 00:07:11.920
Grant.
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:15.680
Grant, he's definitely not in real life.
00:07:15.759 --> 00:07:16.079
He'll be great.
00:07:16.319 --> 00:07:16.879
Oh no, he'll be great.
00:07:17.120 --> 00:07:17.759
Sebastian Cross.
00:07:17.920 --> 00:07:18.399
He's quite posh.
00:07:18.639 --> 00:07:19.680
He's quite posh, isn't he?
00:07:20.079 --> 00:07:21.199
And Sharon Rooney.
00:07:21.439 --> 00:07:21.680
Right.
00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:22.800
Sharon Rooney.
00:07:23.040 --> 00:07:23.199
Yeah.
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:24.000
Okay, great.
00:07:24.079 --> 00:07:24.319
Yeah.
00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:25.120
Fantastic.
00:07:25.199 --> 00:07:26.480
So that's gonna be exciting.
00:07:26.720 --> 00:07:32.079
The other thing I want to talk about that happened this week, or rather was it Sunday?
00:07:32.319 --> 00:07:34.800
The VMAs with Madonna.
00:07:35.759 --> 00:07:37.040
She won a handful of awards.
00:07:37.439 --> 00:07:38.959
She won loads and loads of awards.
00:07:39.040 --> 00:07:42.480
And every time she got up, apparently, she was a little bit more tipsy.
00:07:42.720 --> 00:07:42.959
Oh god.
00:07:43.279 --> 00:07:44.079
So it got better and better.
00:07:44.319 --> 00:07:44.800
Fantastic.
00:07:45.279 --> 00:07:46.079
Allegedly.
00:07:46.720 --> 00:07:49.199
But you know, every time she got up, she was a little more drunk.
00:07:49.439 --> 00:07:54.560
And um there was a huge um what come I don't know how to put this.
00:07:55.120 --> 00:08:01.040
The dancers they had like lasers coming out of their butts and they literally were coming out of their butts.
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:03.759
They were literal butt plugs in their butts.
00:08:04.079 --> 00:08:09.839
And then she came on stage and she had one in her butt, Madonna, and she pulled it out of her butt and threw it into the audience.
00:08:10.160 --> 00:08:13.120
Oh my god, can you imagine sitting there in the audience and then that lands in your dream?
00:08:13.360 --> 00:08:14.879
Well, that would a lot of people might like that.
00:08:15.360 --> 00:08:15.920
What do they say?
00:08:16.079 --> 00:08:17.360
Different strokes for different folks?
00:08:18.079 --> 00:08:23.839
I feel like that would be that would be especially, you know, I think maybe a few people might have liked that.
00:08:24.480 --> 00:08:25.199
Who knows, mate?
00:08:25.920 --> 00:08:26.480
Jesus Christ.
00:08:26.959 --> 00:08:30.800
But do you know that it got the most um ratings in a decade?
00:08:31.360 --> 00:08:32.879
It was hugely successful.
00:08:33.279 --> 00:08:34.559
It got like eight and a half million.
00:08:34.879 --> 00:08:35.360
The VMAs.
00:08:35.759 --> 00:08:36.720
The VMAs, yeah.
00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:42.480
Yeah, everybody's really, and apparently it looks beautiful, it looked beautiful, and everybody said it was absolutely fantastic.
00:08:42.960 --> 00:08:44.080
I'm gonna pronounce his name wrong.
00:08:44.320 --> 00:08:46.480
It's like Micah Bickman.
00:08:48.000 --> 00:08:48.799
Have a look, have a look.
00:08:49.039 --> 00:08:50.480
Micah, is it Micah Bickman?
00:08:51.039 --> 00:08:54.639
He does a lot of um pretty big does a lot of music stuff.
00:08:54.879 --> 00:08:56.080
I think he works with the weekend.
00:08:56.320 --> 00:09:01.039
You know, the weekend he has those like little mini short films for his videos, they're always really fantastic.
00:09:01.120 --> 00:09:02.240
I think he does those as well.
00:09:02.720 --> 00:09:03.519
Micah Bickman.
00:09:03.759 --> 00:09:04.080
Bickham.
00:09:04.559 --> 00:09:05.120
Oh, there you go.
00:09:05.279 --> 00:09:05.360
Right.
00:09:05.600 --> 00:09:06.080
Bickham, yeah.
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:06.639
Bickham.
00:09:06.960 --> 00:09:07.360
There you go.
00:09:07.600 --> 00:09:08.080
There you go.
00:09:08.159 --> 00:09:08.720
Good world.
00:09:08.799 --> 00:09:09.519
Give a shout out to him.
00:09:09.600 --> 00:09:09.840
Well done.
00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:14.240
You know, you mentioned last week that um Maura and Rob are doing Armour Celebrity.
00:09:14.480 --> 00:09:14.799
Yes.
00:09:15.039 --> 00:09:17.519
Not last week, two weeks ago, but last episode.
00:09:17.679 --> 00:09:18.240
Last step.
00:09:18.320 --> 00:09:18.720
Last step.
00:09:19.279 --> 00:09:26.879
This is the third time they've tried to do Armor Celebrity over here because Armour Celebrity is a huge show in England and it's been massive for like 20 years.
00:09:27.279 --> 00:09:31.039
And they tried it, I remember they've yeah, at least.
00:09:31.360 --> 00:09:33.360
And uh this is the third time they tried it.
00:09:33.440 --> 00:09:34.720
Apparently it's on Peacock.
00:09:34.879 --> 00:09:39.279
But I know um ABC tried it years ago and it was pretty bad.
00:09:39.519 --> 00:09:41.519
And I think Downtown Julie Brown won.
00:09:41.679 --> 00:09:46.399
And then they brought it, and there was some of the from dancing went on to do it, and they shot it in Australia and they did it again.
00:09:46.480 --> 00:09:49.519
And I think um Lou Diamond Phillips won, but it was a disaster.
00:09:49.600 --> 00:10:03.200
And I tried to watch it because I knew people who worked on it, and I liked the English one, and so it'd be interesting to see how they try and do it again because it just doesn't seem there's certain shows that kind of like really take off in England and really, really kind of like last, and yet they just don't work here.
00:10:03.279 --> 00:10:12.080
And that was one that they keep trying, and maybe it will this maybe third times a chance, but it's surprised that they're gonna put the money in to try this again considering it's been done twice and failed.
00:10:12.320 --> 00:10:16.000
Yeah, but there's also the opposite of that Survivor over here.
00:10:16.159 --> 00:10:16.639
How many years?
00:10:16.879 --> 00:10:18.320
Yeah, oh yeah, it works both ways.
00:10:18.399 --> 00:10:19.759
They tried, tried it in England.
00:10:19.919 --> 00:10:22.000
Last year, twice, I think.
00:10:22.080 --> 00:10:22.799
They've tried it a couple of times.
00:10:23.200 --> 00:10:25.039
My ex worked on it, went out to Borneo.
00:10:25.360 --> 00:10:26.320
There was one not that long ago.
00:10:26.639 --> 00:10:27.679
There was one in in England.
00:10:27.919 --> 00:10:37.519
They did Survivor again about three, about four years ago, and it was actually all right, but nobody it's just funny because Big Brother did massive in England, and although it's still on over here, it just kind of like limps along.
00:10:37.600 --> 00:10:39.039
It always has, it's never done that well.
00:10:39.279 --> 00:10:42.080
But like the Big Brother was massive in England and not here.
00:10:42.399 --> 00:10:44.320
Survival is the other way around.
00:10:44.559 --> 00:10:47.919
It's kind of funny how certain things just click on one.
00:10:48.159 --> 00:10:49.519
But I'm a slab, I'm surprised they're doing it.
00:10:49.759 --> 00:10:51.919
And once again, different strokes for different folks.
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:52.639
There you go.
00:10:52.720 --> 00:10:54.080
All right, moving on, let's talk about some movies.
00:10:54.240 --> 00:10:54.879
Well, before we do it.
00:10:55.039 --> 00:11:09.759
Oh no, no, we still on we still have one because another show, and because we were in our hiatus having our hiatus, which I like to call that hiatus, uh, we missed given the actual date of your show, darling.
00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:19.919
So, yeah, so last season we talked about the fact that I was appearing on Collector's Call on Me TV, the show and channel that no one has heard of.
00:11:20.240 --> 00:11:29.440
And it aired during our hiatus, and it was um it well, it aired.
00:11:29.679 --> 00:11:31.120
I Ratings through the roof.
00:11:31.360 --> 00:11:32.000
Ratings through the roof.
00:11:32.559 --> 00:11:33.600
We had dozens of viewers.
00:11:33.840 --> 00:11:34.639
Where can they find it?
00:11:35.039 --> 00:11:35.519
We'll put up a link.
00:11:35.840 --> 00:11:36.159
I don't know.
00:11:36.240 --> 00:11:38.879
I don't know if I honestly don't think you can find it.
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:48.879
I I don't I've I don't know where it uh um collector's call kind of airs once and then they will repeat the season later in the year, but they but you can't go and find it's not on YouTube.
00:11:49.120 --> 00:11:50.240
I don't know that you can find it.
00:11:50.399 --> 00:11:51.759
I think once you miss it, you miss it.
00:11:51.840 --> 00:11:52.480
It might get really.
00:11:53.039 --> 00:11:54.080
If I can find a link, I'll post it.
00:11:54.639 --> 00:11:55.440
If I can, then put it up.
00:11:55.519 --> 00:11:58.080
But I yes, I think you can find a trailer for it.
00:11:58.240 --> 00:11:59.519
Uh but it was it was fun.
00:11:59.679 --> 00:12:08.080
I don't really like seeing myself on TV, so I wasn't really wanting to watch it, but it aired on the hence the reason we don't do video on it exactly.
00:12:08.240 --> 00:12:16.080
Ah it aired obviously on the East Coast first, so I started getting texts from David, whose collection was on the show, and Charlene Tilton, who was also on the show.
00:12:16.159 --> 00:12:19.120
So they started texting me saying they'd seen it and they liked it, and what did I think?
00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:20.559
And I said, Well, I haven't seen it yet.
00:12:20.639 --> 00:12:23.440
So then I felt that I should at least take a look.
00:12:23.919 --> 00:12:24.639
I did watch it, yeah.
00:12:24.960 --> 00:12:29.919
I felt I started, I thought, well, I'll take a look to see how horrible it is, and then I ended up watching the whole thing.
00:12:30.080 --> 00:12:35.360
It was only like half an hour, but it was um it was fun, it was little bizarre.
00:12:35.600 --> 00:12:39.679
I got loads of friend requests on Facebook after it aired from people I've never heard of.
00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:43.919
But like I guess because my name's kind of pretty unique that you can look it up and find it.
00:12:44.080 --> 00:12:48.480
But I got all these friend requests from people that uh, you know, I don't know, you know, but they're yeah.
00:12:48.639 --> 00:12:49.759
So um but it wasn't.
00:12:50.240 --> 00:12:50.960
Do you know what day it aired?
00:12:51.120 --> 00:12:52.240
You should have thought you should have pointed to it.
00:12:52.559 --> 00:12:55.200
August uh, I think it was like August 2nd or something like that.
00:12:55.440 --> 00:12:59.120
But it was you should have pointed them towards two Ginger Gems, babe.
00:12:59.200 --> 00:13:05.919
If you got more people, yeah, pushed them to say, oh, if you if you liked my collector's call, here's my podcast.
00:13:06.159 --> 00:13:06.480
Yeah.
00:13:06.639 --> 00:13:11.039
Oh well, but I mean, this probably we'll probably get more listeners on our podcast than Collector's Call gets viewers.
00:13:11.200 --> 00:13:11.840
It was interesting to see.
00:13:12.080 --> 00:13:20.720
It was obviously we were there for like four hours taping and it was cut down to like 30 minutes, so it did feel very to me, it felt very chopped, but it was it was fine.
00:13:20.960 --> 00:13:21.360
It was fine.
00:13:21.440 --> 00:13:21.840
It was fine.
00:13:22.080 --> 00:13:22.639
I love it, babe.
00:13:23.200 --> 00:13:23.600
I love it.
00:13:24.080 --> 00:13:24.720
Movies.
00:13:25.279 --> 00:13:25.679
Movies.
00:13:26.000 --> 00:13:28.159
Oh, I'm very excited.
00:13:28.399 --> 00:13:29.600
You're gonna talk about Digger?
00:13:29.840 --> 00:13:32.799
We're going this weekend to see Digger.
00:13:33.440 --> 00:13:35.840
9 30 pm, first show in.
00:13:36.159 --> 00:13:38.960
You said you think it might be a musical.
00:13:39.279 --> 00:13:40.399
It's not a musical, it's not musical.
00:13:40.480 --> 00:13:40.879
People have seen it.
00:13:41.200 --> 00:13:41.679
Okay, great.
00:13:41.759 --> 00:13:43.679
Uh no, that's what there was a rumour going on.
00:13:44.000 --> 00:13:44.320
Okay, I think.
00:13:44.480 --> 00:13:47.360
I thought it might be a musical, but yeah, now you say you're going.
00:13:47.840 --> 00:13:49.360
But yeah, but now people have seen it.
00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:51.759
What was that thing that you were going to see on your own?
00:13:51.919 --> 00:13:54.080
Oh, um that'so.
00:13:54.159 --> 00:13:55.600
Oh, I didn't go on my own in the end.
00:13:55.840 --> 00:13:57.120
Oh, it went with you, did it?
00:13:58.879 --> 00:13:59.840
We had a lovely day.
00:14:00.080 --> 00:14:04.080
We had margaritas and we saw Practical Magic.
00:14:04.320 --> 00:14:05.200
I loved it.
00:14:05.360 --> 00:14:08.240
It was getting such slate, it's getting so slated everywhere.
00:14:09.360 --> 00:14:11.840
And it were and they're saying that their faces, whatever.
00:14:13.440 --> 00:14:14.559
I mean, they wasn't as bad.
00:14:14.879 --> 00:14:15.600
It wasn't as bad as people.
00:14:16.320 --> 00:14:17.120
It wasn't as bad as it can be.
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:17.679
Yeah.
00:14:17.840 --> 00:14:22.000
But actually, it was a really lovely little film, actually.
00:14:22.159 --> 00:14:29.200
And it was very um Nicole Kidman and Sandra were just so good together.
00:14:29.519 --> 00:14:31.279
Their chemistry well that made the movie, their chemistry.
00:14:31.519 --> 00:14:34.720
That made the movie, their chemistry was just off the chain.
00:14:34.960 --> 00:14:36.720
What do I keep saying off the chain?
00:14:37.039 --> 00:14:41.519
Is it because Melbourne is it because Mel B is back on bloody AGT?
00:14:41.919 --> 00:14:42.399
But I don't know.
00:14:42.559 --> 00:14:45.120
I've never even heard her say it on this season when I was there.
00:14:45.200 --> 00:14:46.480
But anyway, yeah, I keep saying it.
00:14:46.559 --> 00:14:47.200
But yes, there you go.
00:14:47.279 --> 00:14:47.919
For Mel B.
00:14:48.159 --> 00:14:50.399
Yeah, their chemistry is just so good.
00:14:50.480 --> 00:14:57.279
And it's it was such a heartfelt, and it was, you know, sisterhood, and it was just beautiful.
00:14:57.440 --> 00:14:58.240
I really liked it.
00:14:58.320 --> 00:14:59.200
I really enjoyed it.
00:14:59.279 --> 00:15:00.240
I loved the clothes.
00:15:00.480 --> 00:15:01.360
Are you going to see Digger?
00:15:01.600 --> 00:15:02.799
So, Digger was seeing this weekend.
00:15:03.200 --> 00:15:04.240
What are people saying about it?
00:15:04.639 --> 00:15:07.039
People are losing their shit about it.
00:15:07.360 --> 00:15:07.679
Is it good?
00:15:07.840 --> 00:15:08.559
Is that a good thing?
00:15:08.879 --> 00:15:10.960
No, like in the best possible way.
00:15:11.360 --> 00:15:13.039
Like people are saying this is the best.
00:15:13.519 --> 00:15:14.159
I'd love to go and see it.
00:15:14.240 --> 00:15:15.840
I wasn't, but I wasn't invited to this little hour.
00:15:16.240 --> 00:15:20.000
Come on! There's people come, if you want to come, come.
00:15:20.320 --> 00:15:20.960
No, no, no.
00:15:21.759 --> 00:15:22.240
The moment's passed.
00:15:22.879 --> 00:15:24.639
The moment hasn't passed, but we haven't gone yet.
00:15:25.200 --> 00:15:39.759
But um I am so excited to see this, and people are saying that you can because of his performance, uh Tom Cruise, you can we they're not gonna be able to ignore him anymore for awards such as Oscars, which he should have got for Magnolia.
00:15:40.000 --> 00:15:40.960
Just putting it out there.
00:15:41.039 --> 00:15:44.639
And you believe he should have got it for uh Born on the Fourth of July.
00:15:44.799 --> 00:15:45.440
Yeah, yeah.
00:15:45.600 --> 00:15:46.000
Yeah.
00:15:46.240 --> 00:15:51.279
So anyway, but I have I have my issues with the personal life of Tom Cruise, but uh that's the problem.
00:15:51.519 --> 00:15:54.320
But as a movie star, as a movie star, he's one of the best.
00:15:54.720 --> 00:15:56.240
I mean, he was so good he should have won for that.
00:15:56.399 --> 00:15:57.840
Although he was up against pretty good competition.
00:15:58.080 --> 00:16:00.639
Hey, in Magnolia, you know I found out about Magnolia.
00:16:00.879 --> 00:16:02.960
Actually, let's put that as a classic, classic movie.
00:16:03.279 --> 00:16:03.840
Magnolia.
00:16:04.080 --> 00:16:04.159
Okay.
00:16:04.399 --> 00:16:05.200
Bloody amazing.
00:16:05.360 --> 00:16:07.919
Got the uh Philip uh Seymour Hoffman.
00:16:08.159 --> 00:16:13.360
Seymour Hoffman in, got Julianne Moore in it, Jason Robards, Jason Robards.
00:16:13.600 --> 00:16:15.360
I mean, it's just the most amazing movie.
00:16:15.440 --> 00:16:16.639
And John C.
00:16:16.799 --> 00:16:17.840
Riley, one of our favourites.
00:16:18.080 --> 00:16:19.120
Yes, I was gonna say John C.
00:16:19.279 --> 00:16:24.480
Riley, and then I was thinking, was that that or was that the um you know the Dirt Diggler movie?
00:16:24.720 --> 00:16:25.679
What was that called?
00:16:25.840 --> 00:16:26.559
Boogie Nights.
00:16:26.720 --> 00:16:27.279
Boogie Nights, yeah.
00:16:27.440 --> 00:16:28.000
Boogie Nights.
00:16:28.240 --> 00:16:33.360
Um, yeah, but uh I've got to fellow ginger and a fellow ginger, babe, and Julianne Moore.
00:16:33.600 --> 00:16:34.320
Julianne Moore.
00:16:34.639 --> 00:16:39.279
Shout out for the gingers there, given our little ginger gem, Julianne Moore, who's an absolute gem.
00:16:39.759 --> 00:16:42.879
Yeah, so um, do you know that what I found out?
00:16:42.960 --> 00:16:44.480
Who directed that, babe?
00:16:44.720 --> 00:16:46.879
There was an interview with the director of Magnobia.
00:16:47.200 --> 00:16:47.840
Paul Thomas Anderson.
00:16:48.080 --> 00:16:49.120
Is it Paul Thomas Anderson?
00:16:49.519 --> 00:16:50.480
How would you say, babe?
00:16:50.559 --> 00:16:55.200
He's like he's like cult leader, yeah, like a cult, motive, like a quote unquote motivational speaker.
00:16:55.519 --> 00:17:02.559
Motivational speaker, like uh Tony Robbins, like Tony Robbins, um, but it's very towards men to become it's perfect for right now.
00:17:02.879 --> 00:17:04.240
Like that whole alpha mentality.
00:17:06.799 --> 00:17:14.319
And Tom said to uh Paul Thomas Anderson, he the first day of film, he came in first day of film and he'd rewritten the whole the monologue.
00:17:14.559 --> 00:17:18.880
So when you first see Tom, he's on stage doing this whole thing, and he'd rewritten it all.
00:17:19.200 --> 00:17:26.000
And and um Paul Thomas Anderson said, Go and do it, do it, and he did it, and he just said I was after that.
00:17:26.240 --> 00:17:32.720
But mainly Tom wrote all his own all that part of it Tom uh Tom Cruise wrote himself.
00:17:33.039 --> 00:17:34.640
Unbelievable Magnolia.
00:17:34.799 --> 00:17:37.680
But Digger, people are saying it's something we're gonna do.
00:17:37.920 --> 00:17:40.160
Well, when next week's the next episode, you're gonna tell us all about it.
00:17:40.480 --> 00:17:46.240
But yeah, so Digger, I will be reviewing that in two weeks, and I'm sure everybody will have seen it.
00:17:46.559 --> 00:17:49.440
But I hope it's a smart you know what I'm gonna do actually?
00:17:49.599 --> 00:17:52.319
I'm gonna do uh um an early preview on that.
00:17:52.480 --> 00:18:01.680
I'm gonna put it up on two ginger gems, and after we see it, we'll do where are we going, and then we'll say we're going there, and then we'll do on the way back, we'll do the review of it, and that way you get that.
00:18:01.759 --> 00:18:09.039
So we'll stick that onto well, it'll be on my own stories, but I'll put it, I'll link it to Ginger Gems so you'll be able to get that early.
00:18:09.680 --> 00:18:14.240
But my god, I'm so I I can't even tell you how how excited I'm about this.
00:18:14.799 --> 00:18:15.279
All right, beautiful.
00:18:15.440 --> 00:18:15.920
I really am excited.
00:18:16.160 --> 00:18:16.880
All right, moving on.
00:18:17.200 --> 00:18:18.400
Um some fashion.
00:18:19.599 --> 00:18:24.720
Okay, one thing about uh going back to practical magic, fashion is fall.
00:18:24.799 --> 00:18:25.920
We spoke about this before.
00:18:26.079 --> 00:18:33.359
It's all very witchy this fall, but oh my god, there are some amazing clothes out there right now.
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:47.599
It's and I'm not talking about I'm all obviously designer and all that beautiful, but in like Zara's HM's, uh Mango, there's just the most beautiful, they're making the most beautiful clothes at the moment.
00:18:47.920 --> 00:18:59.680
It's it's all this kind of witchy Stevie Nicks 70s kind of feel, but I got a jacket from I put a picture up of it from Zara, babe, the beaded one that you had to take back and get me a different size.
00:19:00.079 --> 00:19:01.519
Babe, but how amazing was that?
00:19:01.680 --> 00:19:02.240
Yeah, lovely.
00:19:02.400 --> 00:19:05.519
The bead work on it, I mean, and beautiful work.
00:19:05.680 --> 00:19:07.519
I mean, I'm blown away anyway.
00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:13.279
So, yeah, fashion-wise, it's all gonna be about the witches, it's all gonna be about 70s, it's all gonna be about boho.
00:19:13.680 --> 00:19:16.079
But the little twist to it, the little what did I say?
00:19:16.480 --> 00:19:16.880
Well, you love it.
00:19:17.200 --> 00:19:23.119
I laugh at the witches, but it's all and the little twist of it is you're gonna mix it with tailoring.
00:19:23.759 --> 00:19:34.640
I mean, like beautiful tailored pants, a beautiful tailored jacket, a beautiful tailored shirt, and then you mix it with a real boho feel.
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:37.839
And that is the look for the fall, as far as I'm concerned.
00:19:38.079 --> 00:19:46.079
Colour wise, you're still in all your browns, your navies, your emeralds, your jewel colours, your deep greys, beautiful colours.
00:19:46.240 --> 00:19:46.720
So, yeah.
00:19:46.880 --> 00:19:57.359
And another thing, just to finish uh fashion off with, there's a new documentary out um called Carl about Carl Lagerfeld, and it goes what is it out on, babe?
00:19:57.920 --> 00:19:58.319
Paramount.
00:19:58.559 --> 00:19:59.440
Paramount, when's it come out?
00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:00.559
October 6th.
00:20:00.799 --> 00:20:03.920
October the 6th on Paramount, and I'm very excited about that.
00:20:04.079 --> 00:20:06.000
Yes, isn't he the one that always wore gloves?
00:20:06.240 --> 00:20:13.759
He wore gloves, he always had the hair going back with the little ponytail, the blue the uh always wore black and white, you know, real French.
00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:15.680
His life is unbelievable.
00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:17.599
The story of his life is insane.
00:20:17.839 --> 00:20:18.559
Is he still alive?
00:20:18.720 --> 00:20:20.079
No, he died like last year.
00:20:20.400 --> 00:20:21.680
Last year I think he died, yeah.
00:20:21.839 --> 00:20:22.480
Very sad.
00:20:22.720 --> 00:20:25.920
Um, but what a life, what an amazing life he lived.
00:20:26.000 --> 00:20:27.920
Uh the documentary is gonna be fantastic.
00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:28.960
So fantastic.
00:20:29.279 --> 00:20:29.440
Yeah.
00:20:31.039 --> 00:20:32.640
Next theatre.
00:20:33.200 --> 00:20:33.440
Theatre.
00:20:33.599 --> 00:20:34.319
You went to the theatre?
00:20:34.799 --> 00:20:35.680
I'm going to the theatre.
00:20:35.839 --> 00:20:37.119
I'm going to the theatre this weekend.
00:20:37.200 --> 00:20:44.640
Laura Benanti is um doing a one-woman show called Nobody Cares, which has already been, I think, in England.
00:20:44.720 --> 00:20:46.960
And it was definitely been in Edinburgh.
00:20:47.200 --> 00:20:47.440
Okay.
00:20:47.599 --> 00:20:50.319
And maybe in England, and then again, I think it's been in New York.
00:20:50.400 --> 00:20:52.240
And it's here this weekend, everyone.
00:20:52.319 --> 00:20:54.480
So here's a gem, a weekend gem for you.
00:20:54.640 --> 00:21:00.240
Um, and it's she's at the Wallace three nights, Friday, Saturday, that's the Wallace Centre for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
00:21:00.480 --> 00:21:03.440
Yeah, and it's a one woman show, and she is amazing.
00:21:03.759 --> 00:21:05.039
What did we see her in, Babe?
00:21:05.200 --> 00:21:09.039
We saw her in that Steve Steve Mar uh Steve Martin play.
00:21:09.200 --> 00:21:12.079
Was it called Meteors or something with uh Amy Schumer?
00:21:12.319 --> 00:21:12.880
Was it Meteors?
00:21:13.119 --> 00:21:13.680
Meteors, something.
00:21:14.400 --> 00:21:14.640
Have a look.
00:21:14.799 --> 00:21:15.839
Oh yeah, I forgot we saw that.
00:21:16.079 --> 00:21:17.039
Yeah, she was great in that.
00:21:17.200 --> 00:21:22.960
She's also played, she played the mother in uh Amy Schumer's what was Amy Schumer's show, Babe.
00:21:23.200 --> 00:21:23.839
What was that called?
00:21:24.880 --> 00:21:25.599
Oh no, have a look.
00:21:26.160 --> 00:21:27.279
You mean the life of Beth?
00:21:28.079 --> 00:21:29.359
Yes, the life of Beth.
00:21:29.519 --> 00:21:30.559
Life of Beth, yeah.
00:21:30.720 --> 00:21:32.079
She played the mother in that.
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:33.039
She's great.
00:21:33.279 --> 00:21:36.160
So, yes, please go and see her this weekend if you're in LA.
00:21:36.319 --> 00:21:38.160
Nobody cares, it's called Meteor Shower.
00:21:38.559 --> 00:21:39.680
Meteor Shower, yeah.
00:21:39.839 --> 00:21:43.599
We saw which was um uh play by Steve Martin, which was fantastic.
00:21:44.079 --> 00:21:44.480
Excellent.
00:21:44.720 --> 00:21:47.039
And the visit, which we spoke about two weeks ago.
00:21:47.279 --> 00:21:48.559
We're finally seeing it this weekend.
00:21:48.640 --> 00:21:49.279
I think it's gonna be a little bit more.
00:21:50.559 --> 00:21:50.720
Yeah.
00:21:51.119 --> 00:21:51.359
Yeah.
00:21:51.599 --> 00:21:55.359
Finally getting to see some stuff because we really haven't been for a while, have we?
00:21:55.519 --> 00:21:55.680
No.
00:21:55.920 --> 00:21:58.799
So it was big in deadline that Idol is leaving.
00:21:58.880 --> 00:21:59.759
It's now all over the press.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:01.920
That AGT is probably leaving.
00:22:02.160 --> 00:22:03.519
And by leaving, you mean leaving Los Angeles?
00:22:03.759 --> 00:22:04.480
Leaving Los Angeles.
00:22:04.880 --> 00:22:05.279
Oh, yeah.
00:22:05.440 --> 00:22:05.599
Yeah.
00:22:05.759 --> 00:22:07.039
So uh any thoughts?
00:22:07.200 --> 00:22:09.920
Any and any comments about well, I think everything is, isn't it?
00:22:10.240 --> 00:22:10.720
That's the point.
00:22:10.799 --> 00:22:13.519
You know, it is things of um Mass Singh has already gone.
00:22:13.759 --> 00:22:14.640
Massing has gone, I believe.
00:22:15.119 --> 00:22:16.559
Idle's already gone, they've gone to Atlanta.
00:22:17.200 --> 00:22:18.079
Idle's gone to Atlanta.
00:22:18.319 --> 00:22:18.640
Um, yeah.
00:22:19.119 --> 00:22:19.599
That's what I'm saying.
00:22:19.680 --> 00:22:21.279
That's the thing now that now that it's official.
00:22:21.359 --> 00:22:25.279
They were saying, and there was some comment about oh, something needs to be done.
00:22:25.359 --> 00:22:26.880
It's like, isn't it's too late?
00:22:27.039 --> 00:22:28.799
Something needs to be done 15 years ago.
00:22:29.519 --> 00:22:34.720
But now there's even like Price is Right is talking about moving to everyone's gonna leave it.
00:22:34.960 --> 00:22:35.759
That's what they're trying to do.
00:22:35.839 --> 00:22:36.880
That's what the whole plan is to get.
00:22:37.359 --> 00:22:40.880
But California California into a different different.
00:22:41.279 --> 00:22:49.680
But California's saying, Well, we're gonna do these tax incentives, and they did some, but they missed, they excluded like reality competition shows and game shows.
00:22:50.000 --> 00:22:55.039
So all the big reality shows, like you think American Idol that's been going now for 25 years, it's the 25th season coming up.
00:22:55.200 --> 00:22:56.559
So 25 years that's been going.
00:22:56.799 --> 00:22:58.319
AGT's been on 20 plus.
00:22:58.559 --> 00:22:59.200
Yeah, 20 years.
00:22:59.519 --> 00:23:01.599
Mass Singer's been on for like seven or eight or whatever.
00:23:01.920 --> 00:23:04.720
But like, so now they're um they've all gone.
00:23:04.799 --> 00:23:07.359
And it's like how many?
00:23:07.440 --> 00:23:09.759
I mean, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of jobs have gone.
00:23:10.160 --> 00:23:12.640
And I don't know how long it's gonna be before that is gonna be.
00:23:18.160 --> 00:23:19.680
Who's trying to change California?
00:23:19.839 --> 00:23:32.960
They don't want California to be a stuff, they're trying to split it up because if there's no if there aren't people, if there's not film or TV here, the person, the people who are here who are very liberal, will be moving somewhere else.
00:23:33.200 --> 00:23:34.720
All right, so what are the gems of the week?
00:23:34.880 --> 00:23:37.359
I want to go with Survivor because it was it's always good.
00:23:37.599 --> 00:23:42.319
I'm gonna go with traitors, USA, and celebrity traitors, even though I'm not sure if it's a lot of it.
00:23:43.119 --> 00:23:44.720
And even though we haven't seen it, we know it's gonna be fabulous.
00:23:44.960 --> 00:23:46.079
We know it's gonna be fabulous.
00:23:46.240 --> 00:23:48.960
Um, stars with the stars doing well again.
00:23:50.240 --> 00:23:51.279
The season is fabulous.
00:23:51.440 --> 00:23:52.720
The stars are great on it.
00:23:52.799 --> 00:23:53.440
Please watch.
00:23:53.680 --> 00:23:55.920
You're gonna say Madonna, even though I didn't see it.
00:23:56.160 --> 00:24:03.359
Yeah, I'm gonna say Madonna, and I'm just gonna quickly jump in there with um it's a shame let's do better for anyone who's been dis in Madonna.
00:24:03.519 --> 00:24:09.839
Because again, because anytime she shows her face or anything, she gets all the bloody, you know, what do you call it?
00:24:10.319 --> 00:24:11.200
She gets a lot of hate.
00:24:11.359 --> 00:24:14.400
She yeah, it's more than hate, but yeah, she gets a lot of hate.
00:24:14.559 --> 00:24:15.359
She gets a lot of hate.
00:24:16.160 --> 00:24:16.880
I said hate, but you don't.
00:24:17.200 --> 00:24:17.519
She gets hate.
00:24:17.599 --> 00:24:18.240
She gets hate in it.
00:24:18.480 --> 00:24:20.720
She gets hate, she gets hate and a lot of ageism.
00:24:21.119 --> 00:24:23.359
Well, you know, grandma da da da da da da.
00:24:23.519 --> 00:24:24.160
Do you know what I mean?
00:24:24.240 --> 00:24:27.759
That no man, I mean, Nick Jagger can run around a stage.
00:24:28.000 --> 00:24:29.119
Nobody gives a shit.
00:24:29.279 --> 00:24:33.119
She runs around the stage, it's all like, oh, she's too old, sit down, blah da da.
00:24:33.519 --> 00:24:34.559
Anyway, it's a shame.
00:24:34.640 --> 00:24:35.519
Let's do better.
00:24:35.680 --> 00:24:36.960
Let's do better with that.
00:24:37.039 --> 00:24:45.039
And let a woman do if she can still do it, and she can still do it, she's proven it by winning all the war the awards at the VMAs.
00:24:45.200 --> 00:24:47.519
Let her fucking shine her fucking light, bae.
00:24:47.599 --> 00:24:48.000
There you go.
00:24:48.160 --> 00:24:48.559
There you go.
00:24:49.119 --> 00:24:50.640
Magnolia made the gem cut.
00:24:50.720 --> 00:24:50.960
Oh, absolutely.
00:24:52.400 --> 00:24:54.079
Oh my god, so good.
00:24:54.480 --> 00:24:56.960
Um well, we're not sure if Digger did yet, but we're gonna find out.
00:24:57.759 --> 00:24:58.160
We'll let you know.
00:24:58.559 --> 00:24:59.440
Digger in until we know.
00:24:59.519 --> 00:25:03.519
But I think from what I'm hearing, I would say a thousand percent yes.
00:25:03.839 --> 00:25:11.039
And then I'm gonna go, I'm gonna say that the accordate, the fashion from Practical Magic 2 made the gem cut.
00:25:11.200 --> 00:25:11.279
Yeah.
00:25:12.559 --> 00:25:14.960
I like the I like particularly the um the ant.
00:25:15.440 --> 00:25:16.559
Well, anything witchy.
00:25:16.799 --> 00:25:17.359
Yeah, everything's a very good thing.
00:25:17.440 --> 00:25:18.400
So she loves a witchy vibe.
00:25:19.039 --> 00:25:19.519
I love a witchy.
00:25:19.759 --> 00:25:20.160
What can I say?
00:25:20.240 --> 00:25:21.200
I love a witchy vibe.
00:25:21.359 --> 00:25:21.440
Right.
00:25:21.680 --> 00:25:23.359
Um, yeah, and Carl Lagerfeld.
00:25:23.599 --> 00:25:24.079
Pick a card.
00:25:24.240 --> 00:25:24.880
Carl Lagerfeld.
00:25:25.119 --> 00:25:29.359
Well, we haven't seen it, but no, but this man has had an extraordinary life.
00:25:29.680 --> 00:25:33.039
If I if anybody did a documentary on him, it's gonna be amazing.
00:25:33.200 --> 00:25:34.240
So I'm very excited about it.
00:25:34.480 --> 00:25:35.440
All right, Kate's picking a card.
00:25:38.319 --> 00:25:43.519
From my cat, yeah, Wondering Star, which we spoke about by um Kat Pierce, who sold our house.
00:25:43.839 --> 00:25:44.240
Oh, she had.
00:25:44.400 --> 00:25:45.359
So I wonder, yes.
00:25:45.519 --> 00:25:48.079
So I hope that somebody who listened to this went and bought it.
00:25:48.480 --> 00:25:49.119
Wouldn't that be amazing?
00:25:49.680 --> 00:25:50.000
For how much?
00:25:50.160 --> 00:25:50.960
Wouldn't that be in cool?
00:25:51.119 --> 00:25:51.359
I don't know.
00:25:51.519 --> 00:25:52.480
I don't know what it's sold for.
00:25:52.559 --> 00:25:54.960
It was up for about, I think it was one, three, or four.
00:25:55.200 --> 00:25:57.440
It wasn't that expensive, but it was a beautiful house.
00:25:58.079 --> 00:26:02.559
Massive, up in like Silver Lake, maybe that airway.
00:26:03.039 --> 00:26:03.200
Okay.
00:26:03.759 --> 00:26:04.000
Yeah.
00:26:05.119 --> 00:26:10.400
I will tell you as well that I came, I was driving up uh beach with the other day, and the Hollywood sign was lit up, which you never see.
00:26:10.640 --> 00:26:10.960
Oh, stop!
00:26:11.359 --> 00:26:12.640
And it was just really impressive.
00:26:12.880 --> 00:26:17.680
In fact, I was driving up Gower from like Melrose, so from all the way back, you saw it lit up, and it looked so cool.
00:26:17.759 --> 00:26:20.480
And as I got closer and closer, you could see that there was some projection on it.
00:26:20.640 --> 00:26:22.079
I couldn't really work out what it was.
00:26:22.240 --> 00:26:25.920
But I parked up and I went and I tried to take a photograph of it, but it didn't really show it.
00:26:26.160 --> 00:26:26.720
So we don't know why.
00:26:27.039 --> 00:26:27.759
It was really, really cool.
00:26:28.240 --> 00:26:30.799
And so I so I Googled it to find out the next day.
00:26:30.880 --> 00:26:35.599
And it was they were the Fast and the Furious were promoting the their movie.
00:26:35.680 --> 00:26:39.279
And they projected Hollywood Drift, so they projected onto the sign.
00:26:39.440 --> 00:26:44.079
And they have, I mean, I think the their footage of it is very, very impressive.
00:26:44.160 --> 00:26:54.319
Though I actually, as uh someone standing in the hills looking at it, you couldn't really tell what it was, but it was so cool to see it lit up, and I wish they'd lighted up the whole time because it looks so cool.
00:26:54.559 --> 00:26:55.599
Well, maybe they'll leave it.
00:26:55.759 --> 00:26:57.839
Well, it would it one night one night.
00:26:58.160 --> 00:27:00.480
Sometimes if I were to leave it, because that's how it all started.
00:27:00.559 --> 00:27:01.920
That's how Hollywood land started.
00:27:02.160 --> 00:27:03.599
It was just a sign to be put up there.
00:27:04.000 --> 00:27:04.720
It's beautiful to leave it.
00:27:05.759 --> 00:27:07.359
I don't understand why they can't light it.
00:27:07.680 --> 00:27:08.480
It's all expensive.
00:27:10.960 --> 00:27:16.880
The people who live near it complain again about it and say that they don't want it lit up because they said that too many people it draws people into the area.
00:27:17.119 --> 00:27:17.519
I get that.
00:27:17.599 --> 00:27:19.519
Uh but like, well, then don't live near the Hollywood sign.
00:27:19.680 --> 00:27:22.480
It's like it's like living next to the Eiffel Tower saying it's tourists everywhere.
00:27:22.559 --> 00:27:22.799
Yeah.
00:27:22.960 --> 00:27:27.119
You know, there's like don't live next to the Hollywood sign if you don't want tourists to come near near your job.
00:27:28.160 --> 00:27:28.559
I would hate that.
00:27:28.720 --> 00:27:30.000
But then live somewhere else.
00:27:31.440 --> 00:27:33.119
And all the people standing outside our door.
00:27:33.279 --> 00:27:33.920
Oh my god.
00:27:34.400 --> 00:27:36.160
But it looked, it looked so cool.
00:27:37.599 --> 00:27:38.559
Oh, I love that.
00:27:38.720 --> 00:27:39.920
That's how it should always be.
00:27:40.079 --> 00:27:40.640
Oh, yeah, that's cool.
00:27:41.440 --> 00:27:42.000
That's how it should always be.
00:27:42.079 --> 00:27:43.119
We'll put a picture on Bit Paper.
00:27:43.519 --> 00:27:43.920
Yeah, we'll get it.
00:27:45.279 --> 00:27:46.000
We'll post that picture.
00:27:46.079 --> 00:27:47.440
And that drive north on Gower.
00:27:47.599 --> 00:27:48.079
That's one of the best.
00:27:48.319 --> 00:27:50.240
Oh, that's one of the best drive straight out.
00:27:52.880 --> 00:27:53.519
You get a great view.
00:27:53.839 --> 00:27:54.079
I love it.
00:27:54.240 --> 00:27:54.640
All right, babe.
00:27:54.880 --> 00:27:55.440
You got a card?
00:27:55.599 --> 00:27:56.400
I got a card.
00:27:56.480 --> 00:27:58.559
It's the Ten of Pentacles.
00:27:59.599 --> 00:28:06.240
And this is pointing towards inheritance, family, and property.
00:28:06.480 --> 00:28:06.720
Okay.
00:28:07.039 --> 00:28:13.759
Funnily enough, as I was shuffling the cards, we were talking about Kat Pierce's property you start selling, which is quite weird.
00:28:14.079 --> 00:28:15.359
Are we related to her in any way?
00:28:15.839 --> 00:28:17.119
Oh, I wish I was related to her.
00:28:17.200 --> 00:28:18.000
She's fantastic.
00:28:18.240 --> 00:28:20.960
Um, so that's that that's this week.
00:28:21.039 --> 00:28:22.160
So I don't know everybody.
00:28:22.319 --> 00:28:32.559
I don't know everybody's had their right hand itching for a bit of money coming your way, but I feel like maybe money's gonna come your way, maybe through an inheritance, through a family member, or maybe not in a bad way.
00:28:33.359 --> 00:28:35.200
Not in a bad way, in a good way.
00:28:35.359 --> 00:28:36.319
Um, yeah.
00:28:36.559 --> 00:28:38.880
So that's that's a bit exciting, isn't it?
00:28:39.359 --> 00:28:40.240
Inheritance.
00:28:40.400 --> 00:28:42.720
Okay, family, cool, property.
00:28:42.960 --> 00:28:44.640
Mmm, yeah, there you go.
00:28:44.720 --> 00:28:46.640
This week might get some luck, someone.
00:28:46.799 --> 00:28:49.680
And if you do get some luck, let us know about it.
00:28:49.920 --> 00:28:54.480
Send us a send us a um an email and a check.
00:28:54.880 --> 00:28:58.480
Share the well, send a check to at two ginger gems.
00:28:58.720 --> 00:29:00.960
Yeah, or two ginger gems at gmail.com.
00:29:01.039 --> 00:29:03.200
Yeah, two ginger gems at gmail.com.
00:29:03.359 --> 00:29:09.839
And also, while we're here, we're always saying that, we also send us any requests, anything you want to talk about, questions.
00:29:10.160 --> 00:29:12.000
James would like a couple of checks.
00:29:12.160 --> 00:29:13.920
And yeah, um, yeah.
00:29:14.079 --> 00:29:17.759
And please give us a thumbs up, subscribe.
00:29:18.160 --> 00:29:18.960
Thank you all for listening.
00:29:19.039 --> 00:29:20.240
We really listening.
00:29:20.319 --> 00:29:20.960
We're doing it.
00:29:21.200 --> 00:29:22.480
We forgot the one thing.
00:29:22.720 --> 00:29:24.640
What is this week's cocktail, Mickey?
00:29:24.799 --> 00:29:25.680
Mickey's margarita.
00:29:25.759 --> 00:29:26.240
Oh, it's a great.
00:29:26.319 --> 00:29:26.799
How do you make it?
00:29:27.920 --> 00:29:30.079
We will put it up, but tell them how you make it just quickly.
00:29:30.559 --> 00:29:31.200
The best margarita.
00:29:31.759 --> 00:29:33.200
And tell them the tequila and everything.
00:29:33.279 --> 00:29:34.079
It's 818.
00:29:34.400 --> 00:29:35.440
Three ounces eight one eight.
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:42.720
Three ounces eight one eight, one ounce Grand Marnier, uh, about an ounce and a quarter of agave.
00:29:43.519 --> 00:29:49.440
Uh, one to one and a quarter uh lines and shake.
00:29:49.759 --> 00:29:53.599
Ice shake with that ice go back to Tom Cruise, like cocktail.
00:29:53.680 --> 00:29:54.160
That's a good movie.
00:29:54.240 --> 00:29:54.880
Stick that in classic.
00:29:55.200 --> 00:29:56.000
Fucking delicious.
00:29:56.160 --> 00:29:57.359
Yes, it's so good.
00:29:57.519 --> 00:29:58.799
Mickey's margarita.
00:29:58.960 --> 00:30:01.039
We will put the ingredients up for you all.
00:30:01.200 --> 00:30:08.640
So thank you for joining us, and we'll see you fortnightly for Funday Friday at five.
00:30:08.880 --> 00:30:12.000
Because it's five o'clock somewhere.
00:30:12.400 --> 00:30:13.039
Thank you very much.
00:30:13.440 --> 00:30:13.759
Thank you.
00:30:14.240 --> 00:30:14.559
Thank you.
00:30:15.039 --> 00:30:15.440
Bye.
00:30:16.720 --> 00:30:17.759
Fucking hell.
