As I talked about in the podcast, I’m reading Flowers from a Puritan’s Garden by Charles Spurgeon where Spurgeon is diving deep into the illustrations of the great Puritan pastor and writer Thomas Manton. I’ve enjoyed so many of the great lessons that Spurgeon has shared in this book and I want to share them with you as you continue to mature as a godly man! I can’t encourage you enough to be reading good books as part of your growth plan - God’s Word is first and foremost, but make sure you are adding some other great books to challenge and encourage you in your walk!
