Oscar has helped bring some of the most intense and unforgettable indie films of the last decade to life, including Uncut Gems, Good Time, Funny Pages, Heaven Knows What, and Frances Ha. We dive into what it’s like working alongside some of the most exciting voices in modern filmmaking, the chaos and creativity behind indie cinema, and how those experiences shaped his newest project.
We also get into the making of Our Hero, Balthazar—a wild, fearless, and genre-bending film already getting attention for its daring storytelling and dark humor.
🎬 It’s a conversation about filmmaking, risk-taking, anxiety-fueled cinema, and why original movies still matter. If you love modern indie films and behind-the-scenes stories from the people making them happen, this episode is for you.
