ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Ruslan KD Interview with Former Hillsong Celebrity Mega Church Preacher Carl Lentz. Five year ago Carl Lentz rocked the church world by getting caught in an affair with another woman outside his church. Not only did Carl Lentz world fall apart but a few months later Brian Houston, the founding Pastor of Hillsong Church was also removed from ministry as well. This whole situation is going to bring up some conversations we need to have about celebrity Christianity, mega churches, and the ministry business machine. This video is not about bashing Carl Lentz or Hillsong church but about what we can learn from this situation to have a brighter future for the church. This Ruslan KD Interview with Carl Lentz gives us more insight to fallen mega church Pastor. Most of the interviews goes really well and Carl Lentz looks like he has changed. But when the conversation changed to Mega churches and qualifications for elders, Carl Lentz’s tone changes quite a bit. Carl mocks Pastors of smaller churches, pushes back about standards in ministry and much more. Churches are not good or bad based on their size. However churches should not be focused on building crowds but by training disciples. We want to work at raising up quality and mature Christian believers. He should focus on anointing and talent but character and integrity. So many lessons to learn from this wonderful interview with Carl Lentz and Ruslan KD that will bring up so many wonderful things to discuss.
