ABOUT THIS EPISODE
From upside-down Christmas trees to overside Pigs in Blankets, Laura Kenny and Matt Stephens embrace peak festive chaos in this Christmas-themed episode. Laura reflects on awards season, red carpets and social burnout, while Matt reports back from Prague’s mulled-wine stalls and a snowy New York getaway. Along the way, they tackle the big Christmas dinner dilemmas: are Yorkshire puddings allowed with turkey, whether gravy is a necessity, and whether sprouts should be banned forever. There’s listener mail, emotional reflections, a rogue Scrabble showdown, and just enough structure to keep things (loosely) on track. It’s festive, fun, heartfelt, and exactly as chaotic as you’d expect from the cycling podcast nobody asked for.
