Malkier Talks: If you've ever felt like the third wheel, this podcast is for you. If you love Wheel of Time, this podcast is for you. If you're bored and have nothing better to do, this podcast is for you. Join Rob, Megan, and Jen in celebrating the Wheel of Time and its statistically best fandom and ridiculous gaming skills. And probably a few cocktails. And find out which one of them will be the third wheel this time. This is revealing. my god, it totally is. Is that our gang sign? Okay. W Wheeling. W, yeah, okay. It's really good, Mike. Robbie knows. I'm I don't know if we should be having a gang sign. I don't know how I feel about that. That's our ⁓ Our hand maiden hand talk. It's our maiden hand talk. It's our maiden hand talk. And maybe if we do it this way, 'cause like gang signs are typically thrown like back of hand forward, maybe if we do it. So if we like forward hand. Three wheeling. Yeah. Yeah. It's our maiden hand talk. All right. So some as who's listing fill three to take a sideways three, give it a W vibe and some kind of shadow that implies a second letter and make that our logo. Well just have created license for that anyway. ⁓ as long as you give it to us. How you doing, ladies? Good, how are you? What what have you been up to, Rob? ⁓ wait, I don't even know. I don't maybe I shouldn't even ask you that. I mean you've just been doing nothing, right? You've been sitting around doing nothing. I've been doing absolutely nothing. I mean you've been doing nothing as well as far as I know. Yeah I mean nothing. You you you didn't take a trip anywhere and meet up with friends and exchange gifts and such like that, so you know No but I do have fun stories to tell. So I love we're just gonna do Third Wheels straight off the bat 'cause not only did Jen and I not turn up in our t shirts this week, but ⁓ Meg hasn't taken fun trips to see other Wheel of Time people this past weekend. I did though. I did ⁓ you did? That's true. We were all seeing friends and friends and community friends as well. Yes all the past weekend. Okay. So it's just a t shirt, but I'm sure we'll find another reason why it makes the third wheel. There's always a reason. That's always a third reason to I've just realized my camera's wonky from where I've set it back up. So that's fine. You're also your audio sounds poppy to me. Does it sound like that to you? A couple of times I've heard that as well. A couple of times. My internet connection's been a bit funny, so I mean I'm sure your local's recording it okay, but Yes. Yeah. so sorry about that. ⁓ sort itself out. ⁓ yeah, before we get into that, ⁓ Meg seemed very excited about this week's cocktail. So perhaps it's time to ask a question, Jen. There's a fierce nod coming there. I I think it's time to ask. What? What? Meg Meg drinking. Well, first off, Meg's just drinking this as just a warm-up. So 'cause I love rum chata. And I didn't get coffee yet today. So I love mixing coffee and rum chata. But then my dad ended up accidentally not buying regular rum chata once and accidentally bought the coconut cream. And I love it now. So I love coconut cream rum chata and coffee. So that's just that's whatever. That's just that that that's a freebie what's Meg drink. Ladies and gents, that's Meg's pitch to be sponsored by Rumchada. Yes, So I will buy it and make a drink out of it every week if you sponsor us from Chadda. Yes, please. I will be happy to. Yes, absolutely. So the real drink this week, and this made me giggle. It just came to me one night. So again, because we were finishing the Forsaken series. Well, no, we're not finishing, but we're continuing the Forsaken series. So today it's Male's short stack. ⁓ definitely. That is awesome. I was like, as soon as you held it up, I knew it was some male. ⁓ no. ⁓ even the fans are enjoying it, you know. So kind of my inspiration for this. I was trying to go with like pancake flavors and sort of the thing. And so what I've been doing recently is doing do you guys know what fat washing bourbon is is? Yeah. I mean I've had it. They know it mumofuku. So You mix some sort of something with fat. So like you have to melt it down, mix it with the whiskey or bourbon, you let it sit for like room temperature for an hour, and then you have to put it in the fridge for twenty four hours and then you strain out the fat solids. So what I did was I did a browned butter wash bourbon. So brown the butter. Mix it with the whiskey, exactly what I said. Leave it room temperature for about an hour, freeze it for twenty four, discard the solids and strain it out. ⁓ so it's got like a silkier texture to it. And then so this is basically an old fashioned, but then because I was trying to go with like the pancake theme, instead of traditional simple syrup or a sugar cube, I did maple syrup. ⁓ nice. And then I did orange bitters to get like, you know, your breakfast, like, you know, orange juice. And then I would have had I had them garnished with an orange peel, but I had no orn oranges. So ⁓ so it's just two ounces of of the fat wash or ⁓ brown butter wash bourbon, half an ounce of maple syrup, three dashes of bitters, stir stir stir, there you go. So cheers I'm not sure Sammy deserves a garnish anyway, so That's right. That's right. god, it's so it's so good. Forgive me for each Yeah. I would love so I I also submitted something to the Gathering Madness cocktail contest, but I tried to make it somewhat easy. This I wouldn't expect them to have fat wash bourbon. So I would probably like that. They they're gonna like throw in the bourbon or whatever and then be like, Well, I didn't fat wash it, so I'm gonna add like a little little chunk of bacon fat or something like this. They would just mix that into the cocktail, wouldn't they? You know, like they'd do something like that. Well just muddle it in, it'll work. It's the same thing, right? That's what they do. Let's be honest. I've seen the guys. I love ⁓ but you know that's right. Pr preparedness for cocktails is not their forte. No. I do have to say so I do have to say that ⁓ this I'm not trying to meddle in your Mixology because you are a metal or muddle. It sounded like both, and I thought that's a I'm muddling I am muddling your I'm muddling I'm muddling and muddling and muddling. ⁓ only that I was gonna say, and I don't I mean it doesn't match the pancake flavor. It doesn't match the pancake theme as much, so maybe not. But I was like, what about honey in place of maple syrup because Samael's bees? Mmm. But ⁓ the bees the bees are an alien thing, it's only his briefly. So I think this is Samuel in the olden days. There's no bees in his early days, right? Well I do have honey that comes from Aganor. But that's our Aganor that lives in Sweden. Mm-hmm. Yes. So he makes honey, he brings it to Malcury Khan. So they have bees? Yeah, they have bees, yes. Did you see Sharon okay, I don't want to talk anything about MalcuryCon, but did you see that Sharon commented on Uno's On Uno's post? Yes, I did. First, let me give you your drink for this week. I'd spit it, it was a busy weekend last week, folks, and I'll share some things with you about it. ⁓ so I I didn't go hunting for a stout this week. I'm like, I need something crisp and easy and clean. So we have ⁓ just a a sin a standard apple cider from Inches, which is ⁓ just a brand here in the UK. It's kind of It's kinda replaced my I used to be a strongbow boy as a basic cider. Like they're they're nicer ciders obviously, but like a basic one you can get everywhere. Inches is now becoming my one, so ⁓ I haven't got a full pack of that delivered. And ⁓ here's your ASMR. Yeah, not so good, I don't think. I thought it was alright. It was good. It was good. Yeah, it was alright. Okay. Hmm. Yes, what does Sharon say? ⁓ well just as Sharon commented on Uno's picture of h her her Eelfin costume and which is incredible. And then Sharon was like, ⁓ my god, it's amazing. And did you know they're auctioning off the other one next week or something? ⁓ so we w I don't think we knew that, did we? I don't know. ⁓ so I knew this, but I I haven't made the videos about it yet. So this kind of segues into a couple things. ⁓ so we'll have some fun with it. ⁓ wait, by the way, this is this is what I'm drinking out of today. That is it's that is What is that? Literally the largest. It's as it's as big as my head. A pen. It's a big mug. Yeah. It's from our favorite. This is our favorite our favorite ⁓ our favorite sculptor of mugs. We bought his stuff for years and years and years. He has since passed away, but he has passed on the thing to his son, so we have a ton of both his and his son's work, but these were never meant to be drank out of. Like we were always like, These are great for pens 'cause they're so big and this week we're like they're really fun to drink out of. Because they're really big. Yeah. I like un large unusual vegetables to drink out of. It makes good fun. So you need two hands to drink out of it? Like you just no, but by the end of the day I'm gonna have a good bicep workout going on. This is Shulp's Shulps Pottery based Shulps Pottery based on the West Coast of ⁓ US. Excuse me, Shulps. They're great. They're beautiful. Their pottery is wonderful. I think they have an ads. It's a beautiful ⁓ like vase you're drinking out of right now with a handle. ⁓ urn. An urn, yes. ⁓ Taddy has joined us. Meow meow. ⁓ are you coming to my lap? Come on. So the post that Jen yeah, the post Jenna mentioned is Kat. They ⁓ recreated the Eothing costume from season three that Robert Strange wore. They literally brought a a whole bunch of old white leather jackets and cut them up and styled them and did all the work and they've figured out the appropriate face and body paint and got fake teeth and all that sort of stuff. no flocking. ⁓ obviously that's you know, but the makeup was incredibly done. But exactly, the makeup is incredibly done. ⁓ and they do require ⁓ Agonaw to help them give you know finish getting into the costume because they can't zip it up and things like that. So but it's just it's a stunning costume. And Cap put up the photos on social media and ⁓ tagged the folks who like made it and wore it, so Sharon and Robert and things like that. And Sharon commented, like, you incredible work, absolutely loved it. And did you know it's going up in an auction next month? Now We I knew about the auction and ⁓ because ⁓ they approached me because of MalchiCon to be like, Hey, could we like partner with you to promote the auction at ⁓ at Malc at your event? Like it's a bit late to like turn up with a table or something like that. ⁓ but perhaps we could, you know, like send you flyers and things like that. And now that I've buried the lead, I'll tell you what actually the auction is. So ⁓ you already know folks, if you're an avid listener, that's ⁓ recently through talk got some Ayel armor, which I believe has made some journeying around the States recently. And I will be checking about that. I kinda half expected Meg to be wearing a piece today, ⁓ if I'm honest. Sorry. That's okay. I just I had visions of the two of you coordinating and be we should turn up wearing the armor, and then Rob's just gonna be like, I got the armor, yeah, you know. ⁓ Troy put it somewhere. I don't even know where it is in my house right now to be honest. That's fair. As long as you can find it before Walcon, that'd be great. Thank you very much. and so that prompted us that we were prompted to look for that because of this ⁓ it's called Prop Store Auction or Prop yeah, propstoreauction.com. They're a UK based auction house that sell off ⁓ marmelia and and props and costumes and things like that from TV shows and films. And they've been sort of ⁓ booked by Sony to sell off two approximately two hundred and fifty costumes, props, much out you know, things like that. ⁓ it's all things from the TV show, ranging from things like Aes Sedai Rings right through to you can literally buy Elaine's Tanchico outfits or Moraine Stab outfit from season one, you can buy a full Trolloc outfit. You can buy the actual horn of the Lear and Box, which I'm dying for if you're a very rich listener or know someone who might want to be a patron of Malcury Khan in a very significant way, I would absolutely adore to have that horn because we do a hunt for the horn scavenger hunt at Malcury Khan and I have a 3D printed horn that one of our attendees made and it's beautiful and it's got a squeaker in so it's hilarious to and people who win the hunt get their photo taken with the horn and get miniature ones printed. And I would just I would die if I could be like have your photo taken with the actual horn. So if you're listening you know someone who's very rich 'cause ⁓ My hunting and guessing, I think I I probably need about fifteen thousand pounds in order to win it. really think it's gonna go for that much? Based on sales history and it being a premium item and it you know, like is probably at the very like very slightly gold plated or something like that, or at least you know. Because it's a one off. Because it's a one-off and that comes in the box, they reckon anywhere from between ⁓ the the estimates I've been able to find, somewhere from eight to fifteen thousand pounds, it was what it would probably go for. So someone someone would like to really sponsor us that. I don't either. Yeah. And I'm like, judging off that, I'm like, ⁓ I'm so glad that what happened to me happened to me. And I'll get to that later because that I don't want to spoil that surprise. Anyway. So yeah. It's it's I don't know how good of a surprise it's gonna be. It was a big surprise to me. Anyway. ⁓ so that is happening October twelfth to twenty eighth. ⁓ it's propstoreauction.com. I'll put a link into the description. You will be seeing me promoting it a little bit. ⁓ because when they asked if they could do you know, send us flyers to hand out and talk to folks about, I got rather cheeky with them and said absolutely sad about this because it means the show is, you know, like you know, when you start selling off things from the show, like it it's extra nails in the coffin, isn't it? But also exciting that maybe we could have something from I what would it be like if you could have One of the props. Like, it'd just be wild if you can have one of the costumes or one of the actual props. It's insane. So like exciting and sad at the same time. And I was like, ⁓ we do a charity auction at Malkiricon. Is there any chance you might consider donating an item to the auction, you know? And they're like, Let's think about it. And they got back to me like it was the Tuesday. I think yeah, the Tuesday last week. And I got this email like five o'clock at night. ⁓ hey Rob, ⁓ flyers are on the way to the hotel. so they're addressed to you. They weren't addressed to me, they were addressed to someone named Tom. So that was quite funny. But it did say Malceri caught on at least, so you know. Okay. It was it was funny. ⁓ so I did get them. ⁓ and they were like, and we've had a discussion and we are thrilled to be able to give you something for your charity auction. And they gave us ⁓ a set ⁓ of ⁓ seven dice that were used by Matt. Yeah. ⁓ along with two little coins. And they obviously couldn't send those items to me. The deal was that you could put here's a photo you can put up and people can bid and you give us the winning person's details and we'll send them out when the auction happens. So that was cool. so yeah, so you can expect me to talk about that. If you go and register now for the auction at props to auction dot com. ⁓ again the link in description, you will be able to enter a draw. If you are in the continuous 48 United States or in the UK, you'll be able to enter the drawer to win a Sakanin and Brown Ajah Aes Sedai ring. ⁓ that will then be shipped to you just for registering. Not necessarily that's not obviously everyone who registers. A person who registers will be drawn out of a prize pool to win that pairing of gifts of of props. ⁓ so that would be super cool. ⁓ if you're outside of those areas. you are ineligible to to enter that draw, sadly, because they're based in the UK. So it's a it's a shipping thing, I believe. Because they're doing it free. So yeah, so that that's exciting. on to what happened with the dice. There were a number of people bidding on the dice. And I thought these are these are gonna go for a fair bit. So as I am one to usually do, I like up bids a little bit here and there. You know, I throw on like an extra ten or something on a proxy bid type thing to like, you know, up things like usually earlier in the bid in the auction there. And it's Sunday morning. Now I know that there are ⁓ three people that have been, you know, fighting each other on this, as long as me throwing in bids. And then I heard one of those said people talk about their budget for buying the dice. And it was well above what ⁓ it was currently at. So I was like, okay, that's cool, and I'm not gonna name names or numbers because that's their private, you know, that's their deal. And I was like, okay, well it's well below that currently. So I can stick on like forty quid or whatever as a proxy bid and ⁓ they'll they'll clear there's like forty five minutes to go, they'll clearly outbid it. And I know there's at least two other people wanting to bid on this and have been bidding on this. So I was like, it's always that last minute flurry, it's you know, forty five minutes out, nearly an hour out I think. I'm like I'm confident to stick on forty quid, knowing that someone's budget is is, you know, gonna stretch way beyond that type thing. ⁓ totally fine. We get to closing ceremonies where ⁓ we like to announce the people who win the items, you know, but like this one went to so and so and they up and they have their own they actually claim it there in person and they have fun. And ⁓ Neave Sadai who who runs the auction for us now, you know, she's like, you got to the dice about ⁓ like ten items in. I was like, No, no, no, save this for last, save this for last. And anyone who's paying attention now can see where this is going, obviously. And we get to the dice last minute. I was like, So Neve, who won the dice? And I'm looking over at at ⁓ a couple of the people that were in the room that I know had been bidding on it, being like, which one got it? Because I haven't looked. And Neve brings it up and she goes, ⁓ you and I'm like, Huh and so we look and she refreshes and we confirm it's definitely the dice that she's brought up and looked at the winning bid and yeah no one outbid me and I I won the dice. Did they do that because like they saw it was you, do you think? No, they kind of did away it's anonymous. ⁓ so it is anonymous. No it's it's anonymous. You have a bidding number. ⁓ although apparently I didn't I didn't do that the previous years ⁓ and folks like kinda missed like they wanted to know who they were chasing type of thing so they could like have in person like, you know, I'm gonna beat you type stuff. So I might tweak it. Or murder. Or murder. Yeah. Or murder. So I was just like, ⁓ boy, I'm gonna have to figure out how I'm gonna pay for these dice now because like, you know I I've won and you know, and I'm like I've gotta back that up. So I'm like, Okay, well, you know, Rob's gonna put himself on a payment plan or something. I was like, oopsie. So yeah, I won Matt's dice. my my first thought after can I afford this? Which not really, no, not in one go, was then like, the auction company's gonna think I'm lying. I'm just trying to keep the dice for myself. So when I sent them the notice when I said the other like, this is thank you so much, this is who's won. I'm like, it's me. I was like, I didn't think you're gonna think I'm keeping them. So here's the proof that like, you know, I was the winning bit. Which is hilarious. But Leia came to me afterwards and she is like, I'm really bummed because I meant to bid last minute and I forgot I got distracted. So she was going to outbid me. And at that stage I kind of accepted accepted that I'd won the dice and I was like, Well, it's a show prop, you know, figure it out. And sh th she came to me and said that and was like, Well, there's seven dice and two coins. Maybe we could come to some kind of split agreement, I think. Shared custody as it were. So we're going to split the dice and have a coin niche and Yeah, and do it that way. So she's like, How much was it? And you know, it was like three hundred and twenty pounds I think in the end. ⁓ and I was like, So obviously half of that is is ⁓ one sixty or whatever, so we're gonna ⁓ sort out that's ⁓ She's just gonna like throw that into the pot and ⁓ yeah, it's it's kinda worked out, but That's perfect. Well that reminds me, the girls discovered ramen this last week and they really wanted it, and Troy's going grocery shopping, so I need to put that on the list. Yes, I had ramen while I was in Prague and it's so it was so good. So yeah, ramen's great. Get the momofuku no go give the momofuku, Megan. There's momofuku noodles. Momofuku, okay. Mm. And Mama Fuku, if you want to sponsor us here, we will eat our Well you know people, Jay, with Mama Fu. And I I highly stand by their Mama Fuku noodles. Their sesame noodles especially are my favorite. I could just eat them. Amazing. So yeah, so that was ⁓ that was the the auction and the items. So now I have two show props. ⁓ you you went ⁓ let's let's talk about your journeys as well. So Jen, you run a like a like a train like You you flew, you trained, you did all sorts of last week. Yes. So last time you last time you saw me, I was wearing ⁓ I was wearing some Ayelarmir. Is that not right? Is that I did wear I wore it in the morning, didn't I? Yeah, you did, yeah. You wore your piece, yes. So ⁓ so so before I sent everything out, like David and I went through everything with a fine-tooth comb because we were like, we wanna make sure that everybody's getting something that will fit them, that's like what they want, because you guys graciously were like, we're gonna split up the lots and make sure everybody gets a little of everything or something. So Rob, what's really funny, however, is that the smallest piece, which Meg, you gotta put on the girls, the smallest piece with the tiny belt and the like it it's the same size like the the bodice and the ⁓ freaking ants. The bodice and the ⁓ and the ⁓ the belt are well, no, the belt is actually shorter and the bodice is like the same size, but the the the Buckles have been moved so that it snugs up tighter. And it's just it as far as I'm concerned, it's too small for a human. Like it's the one that you have for auction. It's not though. So Zach, my 17-year-old, who's a like tall kid, he's 5'10, almost 5'11. But he is a string bean. He's a string bean. And so he it fit him perfectly. And he kept saying, Can we please keep this one? And I'm like, honey, you're the only one of us who can wear it. Like, so no, because I know the other ones don't fit as snug. He's like, but it's like a comfort blanket. It's like a weighted blanket. And I'm like, I know, baby, but. We're not gonna keep that as one of the ones that we keep. He can come to ⁓ Croatia next year and bid on it, you know. Bid on it. Exactly. So and I also was like Antem's gonna have it for the next six months or well, eight months or something. So I was like, if we get home next summer for WatCon before Antem gives it to Rob, you can try it on again. You can have it on again. So anyway, ⁓ so we David and I tried them all on and like went back and forth, and we also wanted to make sure you guys got Like that everybody got a belt and and one of them, you know, like we just wanted to make sure that anybody they might be getting dispersed to, because the belts are cool and like maybe matches. So anyway, we were just we went through everything, tried on everything. We're like, how does this one fit? I think this one'll fit. I think this one will fit Amise better. I think this one'll fit Mel better, you know? And Mel and Amise and I are all pretty close in size. So like that was we were kind of using each other as our templates. ⁓ but it was so hilarious. So so I decided I flew to St. Louis last week to s ⁓ for a friend's retirement ceremony from the Air Force. And because I was gonna be going to St. Louis and I decided I was gonna take the train home and the train was going through Texas, it I was gonna be I have this long stop, not anywhere that Mel lives, but Mel was like, We are actually gonna maybe be in that city on Labor Day weekend and I was. It was amazing. It was hilarious. So she was like, We can come to the city. And I was like, any other train stop is like you've got like either thirty seconds to get off and or not get off at all. Like thirty seconds for the doors to open, get on and off. Some stops are like a cigarette break. So there's like a five minute break. This is the one stop where they take the train cars and they switch them to a different train. So it's a four hour stop. And Mel was like, We can be there and we will pick you up and we will go out for a drink and So I wasn't gonna travel with any checked baggage, but then when I figured I could do this, I got all of the costumes into this ginormous bag. It just was under fifty pounds. It was like just barely yeah, barely under fifty. I was like, Well, I'm sure the costumes are heavy because they are heavy. Well, that's most of leather. Yeah. And so I had put three of them in and then waited because I didn't have the other ones in yet. I think I put your three in, Rob. And then I waited and it was 25 pounds already. And I was like, well shit, I have to get another like six, seven in here. Seven in there. Yeah. And I was like, ⁓ God, I'm gonna be over fifty. But it didn't. It worked out well. So it was exactly under 50 pounds. Carried it on the plane. I'm gonna shame myself publicly right now because I flew out of Burbank Airport, which is a super easy airport, and I don't tend to go too early. And it also my flight was at like seven in the morning, so we were there at like five forty five. But by the time I got up to put the bag in, it was like less than an hour and a half, and they consider that late check. So it's got a big fat tag on it that says late check, and they were like, Don't worry, if it doesn't make it, it'll be on the next plane to St. Louis. And I was like, Fine, I can pick it up a second day in St. Louis if I need it. Okay. Whatever. It made it. It was fine. It made it. didn't know a thing. My friend Kelly picked me up at the airport in St. Louis and she was like, late check? Nice Jen. ⁓ That was a smit take, Rob, or all of us. That was almost almost a smit take. But it made it. So then so I dragged the suitcase into the hotel with mom and dad. And and part of the whole plan was gonna be that for Rob's three, rather than sending those to Mel and And 'cause mom and dad also came for the retirement ceremony. Yes. Mom and Dad drove drove to the retirement thing in Sa in St. Louis and and met me there. So I said and I forgot to tell them before they left the house. I was like, ⁓ by the way, do you have a little extra room in the car? And Dad was like, No, actually we don't. And I was like Okay, 'cause it's not that big, but I have something extra. Can you wear something extra, you know, like he also didn't utilize the passenger seat at all for anything. So I reminded him of that. He had space. He had space. But ⁓ well, when they left the hotel I was in it 'cause they drove me to the train station. So true. There was that too. Yeah. Anyway, so mom and dad brought so I took three of them out in a in a garment bag, gave them to mom and dad, and then I carried the other seven to to on back on the train and here's me I'm like, ⁓ now it's really light and I get on the train and I put it on the train and then Yeah, and then pulled into well, I'll just say where it is 'cause you figure it out with Amtrak, but ⁓ pulled into San Antonio. And and at like eleven o'clock at night and haul the suitcase off. And then once you get off the train, you have to stay off the train for the next couple of hours because they're they're changing the trains and attaching it to different things. So I'm like waiting around at the San Antonio train station. And then Mel and Jason ⁓ pulled up and and picked me up and we went out for a drink and we hung out, which was like so amazing because I never get to see her, I never get to see them, and they were just so gracious. She bought me a drink. And And then yeah, I like, you know, we took them all out of the suitcase and put ⁓ in her car and she was just like, ⁓ my god, ⁓ my god, they're amazing. So it was super fun. It was so fun. It was really it was just so great. So that was it was like an unexpected jealous that I wasn't at Malchiary Con, but got to hang out with with friends that I wouldn't have gotten to see otherwise. And it really was just so crazy that, you know, the the the auction people contacting me about the one in October prompted Mel to hunt because she'd seen discussion on eBay or somewhere about the full Sean Chan outfits and she found that final auction and you and David were able to go and pick them up 'cause it was like four different time slots on four days. It's like pick up then or you lose it. And then you happen to be taking this trip where it like fit and Mel happened to be in St. Louis and your parents happened to be there to take mine back to San Antonio, sorry. Yeah. ⁓ and Your parents happen to be going to it too, so they can take mine back to Meg and just all these things working out. 'Cause initially we were like, We're just gonna have to figure out how it gets from from Jen to like 'cause I I remember I said to you, I'm like, D can you store them? Do you have somewhere? Like can you said, Yeah, can we put them in the store route and this the the story spots? And we're like, Yeah, like you know, like we'll figure that out later. And then then this whole trip just was like everything worked out. It's so wild. It was perfect. It was so perfect. And I'm I'm like I'm so happy that everybody got them. So 'cause it's also like when you bid on something and then you don't see it for like a year. That's really hard as well. ⁓ Yeah, and that's gonna be my case. But that's fine because I've seen, you know, you're all wearing them and such and it's gonna be amazing. So ⁓ and Amise now has an excuse to not that she needed one, but ⁓ you know, has extra incentive to go visit Mel now, so which is their plan to get getting Amises to to Amise, which is just great. So Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Love that. I've I've basically I after we got the dice, I got the email about the dice I I sent we surprised Neave during opening ceremonies 'cause she got up and talked about the auction and I was like, Thank you so much and she sat down and I s I put the slide across. It's like, Neave, are you sure you've got all the submissions in the auction? 'Cause while she'd been doing the talk, I'd sat there on my phone and filled in the form. So then she went she's like, What do you mean? I'm just like, I'm asking you do how are you sure that you've gone through that all the form all the responses? And you've got all the items in the auction. And she's like, ⁓ And so she's like on a phone going through. And I I don't think I'd let her sit down, actually. I think she was still on camera. And ⁓ she's she suddenly goes she's you know, goes through her phone and then she goes and looks at me. And I was like, ⁓ is there something else in there? I wonder what that is. Hit the next slide. And it just scrolled across the screen and there was a picture of the dice. ⁓ it was an absolute wonderful and everyone's just like, I've got like a big official tag on a type thing, and Matt's dice and coins written on it, and everyone just goes, I was like, yes, ladies and gents, we have an official show prop in the auction this year that I've just added. Blah blah. Anyway. Like when ⁓ that was how we reveal it. Everybody lost their collective minds. Basically, yes. When ⁓ when I first told Becky about it and we was decided how we were gonna reveal it, I literally was like, Becky, I've been told this a few times by a few people when a few things have happened. There's a lot of fuse in there, sorry. and I've decided I'm actually going to accept it now. ⁓ I am Tivirin. Because of all the things that you met me to me. Yeah. I believe Meg, you were the first one to call me Tavirin. but yeah, after that I'm like Maybe I can see Tavirin. Maybe you can see Taviran. That's your talent. Yeah. Like Elida. Her face right now is so Elida can't see Tavirin. Yes, she can. No, she can't. Doesn't she have a talent for seeing Tavirin? Isn't that how she recognizes? I don't think so. No. Suwan does. No, she just has foretelling. She can't see Taviran. Yeah, I I agree there. All right, fine. LBF LBF fact check too. LBF will be like Jen, you're wrong. Swan can I think Nicola can Nicola. Yeah. Nicola can see Taviran. That's right. And Love. Yes, you're right. Thank you. So So that was ⁓ a a little tease of my trip, which we'll talk about more ⁓ at ⁓ Jen's trip. And then Meg, you also had a get together. I did. So we were visiting Fa ⁓ Troy's family in Madison, Wisconsin. and then I happened to know two Wheel of Time friends that also live in the Wisconsin area. So I chatted up Jess, the M1 seat and Master of the Deck, and we all met up for drinks and we were probably there for like three at least three hours, I think, and just hanging out, chatting, having fun. It was really good to see them. So Yeah. That's amazing. Jess sent me photos of the three of you. It was super cute. Yeah. So her photo was way better than mine. So yeah. It's like, I wish I wouldn't have even taken mine. It was terrible. I'm sure it wasn't that bad. No. So fun. So fun. I mean, that's like, you know, I mean, we're all jealous that we didn't get to go to Malchiaricon, but but it was like Yeah, like the community just continues to It's funny because as the show because we're farther away from the show being cancelled, we would I would naturally expect the attrition of the friendships of just like, ⁓ we're off doing our things and like we aren't and I feel like it's the opposite. I feel like people are more even like the community has come together even stronger to keep it going. Yeah, we're more likely to take the the opportunity to spend time with each other than not, I think. Mm-hmm. ⁓ because we don't have the show bringing us together like every eighteen months. You know, 'cause it there was an ebb and flow between seasons, obviously. ⁓ how much people online, offline, going to events and things like that. You know, that was all pretty standard. now I think because we don't have that, like, a lot of people are are, you know, when the opportunity presents itself to to see another another friend, another fan. We we go and take it, I think. So Yeah. We certainly had a lot of new people do that at Malcuricon this year. So we had a number of regulars who couldn't make it. ⁓ so I was worried the numbers were gonna be quite low. Not you know, we're we're a small con anyway, but I thought like ⁓ maybe maybe it was gonna be our smallest. ⁓ and I think maybe technically it is our smallest, but by like one or two people type thing. Because although we had a lot of regulars who couldn't make it, we did actually have ten first timers come this year. ⁓ that's awesome. Which in a big con is nothing, but when you have forty people ish, you know, that's like twenty five percent of the con have never been to a convention before. ⁓ now a couple of them were like friends of people who come. So ⁓ like Elliot brought his friend Jazz, who he's done like Wheel of Time, you know, she's read the books and watched the TV show, like they've Wheel of Time content together before. So, you know, like she joined holiday last year and such. So, you know, she wasn't like unfamiliar, but she'd never been to the to the convention. our sponsors brought their manager with them. So now KiriCon is sponsored by ⁓ a wonderful group of people. They run ⁓ a cra of like a craft stationary store type thing, ⁓ called pen and paper Cardiff. in Cardiff in Wales and they ⁓ sponsored this year's event. ⁓ and ⁓ they brought their ⁓ manager Nicole along who's actually in her spare time a Naomi, sorry, ⁓ professional cosplayer. When she followed the con account, I was like, ⁓ I'm pretty sure that's Naomi that came with with ⁓ Tammy and Neil type thing. So I like clicked on her account to follow back and it popped up with like such a perfect princess Leia no not Princess Leia, sorry, ⁓ Padme. ⁓ such a perfect one from like episode one. But I was like, that looks like I'm actually looking at at at Anna Packin. Like in the outfit. Like that's ⁓ how we just. Natalie Portman, yeah. Sorry. It looked like it's 'cause I just watched ⁓ a thing earlier with her. ⁓ and I don't know why she's ⁓ those two always I mix them up. But yes, Natalie Portman. I was like, This that actually looks like it's from the movie. So anyway. ⁓ you know, so we had some people bring you know, friends, so to speak. But we also had a couple people that, you know, just had never come and finally won so Ricoy, ⁓ who folks will know from from the parody contest and stuff like that. He came along for his first ⁓ first con. We had folks come who have gone to WhatCon. So we had not Naomi, I've just said that. Nicola come from like LA. We had ⁓ some people we had ⁓ a wonderful person by the name of Ellis who came from I think Finland or Germany or something like that. So we we you know in the end we had about ten people and it's like, ⁓ my god, Spuds came. I see. Okay, our friend Jeff. Yeah, Spuds was there. So yeah, it was really wonderful ⁓ that that everyone came and and they all said that it was such a great time and you know they would absolutely come back. In fact, Spuds has already brought his ticket for next year. He said to me it's either ⁓ you know an adventure for next year or it's a donation. you know it was just hopefully it's option one but if not it's option two and I was like well I'm hoping it's option one so yeah it was really really great and then obviously we had beyond there as well so and people finally believed me that I've said he's a big guy okay I've said he's very tall he's six foot six he's a big guy and people like ⁓ yeah you know he's tall he's big yeah okay whatever and then he walked in the room and everyone was just like ⁓ ⁓ we really Like all their heads green up. Yeah, I'm like I did I lie? Did I stutter? I'm like, when I say he makes me feel small both in width and height, like I'm not making that up. Like I'm a big guy. When I feel small, you know he's a big person. So so can you describe in great detail what his hugs feel like? Could you hug me? ⁓ Yes. We it's not like, you know, like a hug hug, it was that like So Bro hug. It was a bro hug, yeah. So like anyway, it happened when I first met him in Prague as well. So I kinda like I don't know if it's a vibe I gave off or whether that's like how he wanted to like you know, sort of hug me or whatever. But when I first bumped into him and he did it again when he came turned up at the hotel this week, ⁓ past weekend, it's just like rather than go for a handshake, we both automatically go for that like, you know, the the the bro high five. The handshake tap tap. That then becomes like the arm goes round and it's a hug. So I was like enveloped enveloped by one Bjorn arm. ⁓ and w I felt enveloped. Okay. I really did feel enveloped. I feel like there's some aeel ritual behind that. I I it's very it's rue arch to another clan chief, is what it is. I I'm I'm I'm down. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I did feel special because when I was waiting for him to turn up, he was a little bit late thanks to a couple of delays on travel and stuff like that. Of course. And it was all like it it was all arranged that he was gonna get himself there. So I was just waiting in the lobby. There was a panel running, he was scheduled to arrive. We literally wrote the schedule so that everyone would be in a panel when he's meant to arrive so that you know he doesn't turn up and get mobbed by, you know, forty, fifty people or whatever. Right. ⁓ and he turned up late, so he turned up after the panel was finished. And like ten people were going out the door to like go do s you know, take a break, 'cause it was lunch break. ⁓ so they were off to off for lunch for like an hour and a half or something like that. And I saw him coming like around the corner and I was like, now are they gonna go like slightly to the right because there's like big walkways and archways and things in the way of like the car entrance? ⁓ and are they like not gonna notice him because he's just there and is like he's a very tall man, but he's just there in a basic suit or something. ⁓ or are they gonna notice him and being like, ⁓ my god, it's beyond his body, it's you know. And he then started walking towards them, just just happened to be the path he took, and then and they noticed it at the same time. So I'm sat in the hotel looking for the front doors, and I could just see them all meeting each other. And he was just like, hi, you know, hands going out for for handshakes and stuff like that. And everyone was just like, ⁓ my god, you know. As it shows he's a wonderful man. Yes. and so I was like so jealous. ⁓ my god, I'm just dying. it was amazing. It was amazing. Yeah, so I just went out and met him, and then we had time to just sort like, you know, wander around, like show ⁓ the hotel a little bit. We met a few people and we were doing a roofmistress ceremony, ⁓ with Leia 'cause of like how So Leia, I'm gonna free under the bus now, okay? I don't care. ⁓ it's not something to be embarrassed about. But Leia had a couple to drink and she was like, Maybe we could do like a roofmistress ceremony So like I welcome him to the Khan and you know, we repeat the lines from the bookslash show or whatever type thing and you know How do you feel about that? No. I mean, when Ruark shows up and hit Cold Rox Hole. There's a lot of kissing happening. There's there's some kissing going on. There's a story of that as well, actually. You tell us a story about that. Yeah, I I I asked the question. and it's not that I didn't take Leia seriously because you know, because she was drinking, like I did, and I was like, ⁓ sh I feel like she doesn't want to do this. And I thought she just explained it badly because you know she'd we were hanging out, she'd had a few drink and whatever, and I was like, that's cool. And so I, you know, pitched it to Bjorn. He was like, Yeah, sounds fun. And then she turned up and she didn't realise that I'd take it as seriously. And she's like, ⁓ no, I've got to do this And I knew she was bringing you roofmistress cosplay. ⁓ yeah, it like I saw the cosplay. Yeah. Yeah, it was like a day or two before our flight. I was Bjorn's down for this by the way and ⁓ she's like, ⁓ shit, I was drunk and joking, Rob. I was like, Well, it's happening, so you gotta figure it out So like he he got to meet Leia and you know ⁓ they talked about that, about what they want to do. And ladies and gents, like there's there's photo and video evidence of it. ⁓ in fact I should probably go back and and and find that bit and play it. ⁓ but Bjorn said minus the kissing part obviously 'cause it's not actual acting, right? He's a married man. ⁓ but he's like we'll do the lines and we'll and we'll do the forehead touching that we did in the show because we should do this. ⁓ and so Leia Did she die? Is is Leia alive? Leia Leia was kinda composed during it, and then afterwards, like Bjorn and I sat down to like play the water game that we do. suggested we should play that and like ⁓ Soulan suggested that was like a great idea. We should play he had fun with it. He did win. but it was very it was so close. There were a couple times where Soulan was like, Rob, ⁓ you you you'd put one drop in there and like the the fluid dynamics of keeping that that bubble on top of the water is like so like peak of about to drop. You you just managed one how you shouldn't know you can't beat Bjorn. Like you're not supposed to beat the guest at the AEL game, you know? He is Aiel. You are a weapon I had to play it properly, you know, I couldn't take it. So let him win I did let him win in the end 'cause I was like if I get a single drop in this, There is no way he's gonna be able to put a single drop in it and then it not flow overflow. So I like, I had to. But anyway, like we sat down to do that and she told me that she's like and then to just go in my chair and be like, You know, like that happened. so yeah, it's ⁓ yeah, they they did the whole sale. So I I asked her first as a as a wetlander and she gave me the approval like she gave to Lan ⁓ like Lan Gets in the Show type thing or in the books, I believe, sorry. And then ⁓ then yeah, she did the the piece of rock and ⁓ it's like She she she was like, What's going on here? And there's photo evidence of it. So he was seeming so down for everything. That's He was so in. He was so in. ⁓ and I've got a fun line here. I asked him about fighting in the show. And I'm gonna share this screen. ⁓ so it'll just be ⁓ I think LBF watching probably saw this anyway. but ⁓ this is I'm gonna I'll full screen this you can see better. You don't need to see the transcript. Come on, there we go. Is it I don't need go away live chat. There we go. That's better, that's full screen. ⁓ sorry asked him about the fighting and he so he revealed this to me as we walked around. He told me multiple things and some of them I'm like, Okay, I've got to ask a question about that 'cause people are gonna find this amazing. ⁓ but this is one thing he brought up and I like, everyone needs to know this 'cause it's so good. So ⁓ I'm gonna press play and you can enjoy this. Yeah. you didn't do much fighting in the show, obviously, but ⁓ we did we did talk about a scene. ⁓ That you you mentioned you you will hope to do something. And I I didn't know about this until you told me earlier today, so I wanted to bring it up. But Well I said to Justine, ⁓ I said to her and to several people from stunts, I said, I you know, I don't know like I only read the books up to this point where where we are now. So I don't know like what's what's really happening in the future. But can we make sure, you know, I'm six foot six. And I wanna fucking tackle ⁓ one of the Trollocs. Is that possible? Like you know You know, like a like a body tackle, you know, full speed. And they loved it. They loved the idea. So I'm yeah, I was very disappointed that I didn't get to do any fighting. Yeah. Because we started, ⁓ they also said like there's gonna pr be preparation time like for fighting and stuff, and I was like, Yeah, let's do it. So yeah, he he he revealed to me that he wanted to ⁓ to do that that fight and be like full full on rugby tackle a a trollic I like that's just so rogue and so rogue just so perfect. So yeah, real shame. We were robbed. We were robbed. We really were. You got that absolutely right. So yeah. And then he also revealed so Here we go. Again, this is another story that he told us about. ⁓ actually, ⁓ this rolls just straight off afterwards, so it's perfect. I'll put it back up. This is another story he told ⁓ about ⁓ setting up that scene with with his his wives and ⁓ and and everything that went with that because it's it's cute how that comes together. So that's amazing. I I wanted to ask you about the chemistry that you to build your your coast cars playing wives. again you did tell a little story about this earlier when we were talking with Lair about the the intro scene here. So what was it like trying to ⁓ work with ⁓ the other two actresses ⁓ my apologies if get things wrong. ⁓ Nougaga and Nicole Nicole. ⁓ how did you go about building that dynamic the three of you and and you know shopping the wetlanders and things like that. So you know I met Nagaga in in the flight to South Africa because she had the seat in front of me and she was leaning back all the way. That was I was excuse me. I wanna eat. I'm kidding. But ⁓ I mean it's I would love to to tell you a very romantic story, but the movie business is not so romantic. But I mean we were meeting on set. We were talking of course. We had like dinner together and we were talking about the parts. And for me it was important that this this ⁓ this scene that we just reenacted that it shows that we have certain rituals, right? ⁓ so we just talked about and I said I would I would love something to I mean we should kiss, right? That was in the book. But I said we should have something More intimate like ⁓ and and we just tried. I said, let's let's put our foreheads against you know, each other and it felt good. And we had an intimacy coach who was, Are you sure you you're all right with doing that? And we were like, Yeah, fuck you And I said, And I think it would be nice if the ladies would kiss and they were like, Yeah, let's do it. So I was nervous. I was like I was like looking at Rosemond standing there like this. I said he said my two great I just I love he is yeah LBF just put in chat he's hilarious he is so funny he was just down for telling stories and and and having fun. ⁓ I just love that those two pieces show how much input he was allowed to have it to the character, which yeah I just really appreciated. ⁓ and if you didn't catch He read up to like the point of the show that matched the point in the books. He hasn't read the all of them. He's like, I don't want to be spoiled on future stories. That's one of the ⁓ worst moments in the series for me. I think we've already decided if we if we were gonna continue or when when we get back to continuing our version When we get back to continue it, yes. That's not happening. No, we've that's in the that's in the document people, so and LBF we did take Yeah, we did take questions from the audience. This this this interview will come out in full eventually, folks. ⁓ but for now it's ⁓ part of the digital perk is that I don't reveal anything to at least October, typically later 'cause I'm slow at doing things. ⁓ so if you brought a d digital ticket you can enjoy all these things ⁓ in the in the you know It it's just for you at the moment, I think, before I I send it public and share it out, that's your benefit for that. ⁓ but Sherbert Mango was one of the folks who bought a ticket and was watching. She asked him if he'd do ⁓ a parody for the contest. And apologies to the to ⁓ I'm sure it was LBF who was messaging me and Skeeter, ⁓ 'cause there was just no time for this to happen on the one day that he was able to join us. ⁓ but s you know, Shepard Mango was like, Would you ever consider doing a parody? And ⁓ he was like, I'm interested. ⁓ And so you mentioned we talked about ⁓ his CDs that had come out. ⁓ he's done a second album of Timeless Melodies where he's like redone classic songs that, you know, he just loves and adores. You know, things like done by Dean Martin and stuff like that, obviously. So he signed he brought like a whole bunch of postcards and ⁓ like I don't know, like twenty copies of each C D and he sat there for like you know, twenty minutes or ever, and just signed everything in this beautiful gold pen for us. ⁓ we gave them out as prizes and stuff, and I've still got a whole bunch, so they'll slowly be given out over a period of time, people. but yeah, he he mentioned D Martin and Skeeter went and wrote a parody. I can't remember which song it was, I do apologize, LBF, if you remember, please put it in chat. But he said, like, I'm interested, you know, I like the premise. 'Cause we worked out, like, how about we write you a song and you you then, you know What do you think about that type thing? And yeah, overall he was down for it. He hadn't said absolute yes. I think he wants to see what we write. ⁓ but ⁓ yeah, at some point I will know. Well he knows about what idle because of Jess's ⁓ parody last year. Yeah, because then I'll he him and I chatted about that, how like him and Jess love to like, you know, she goes to him with different sayings and things like that, you know, and he's like, Well That's so strange because in in German that's really not how that would work type thing and he has great though with the ⁓ the the lingo and things. So yeah, he does know the parody contest and he does he thinks it's a wonderful thing. ⁓ so yeah, he was just great. A couple of the funny things that did happen with a shout out Nils. So as I think the vast majority of people at the con, ⁓ everyone kinda had like a mini crush on the man, you know? Well, how could you not? Exactly. He's very tall. He's objectively attractive. He has that beautiful baritone voice. And he can turn on that real deep, you know, that deep voice. Like he has a deep baritone voice anyway, but he was just in the middle of saying something, like then with the wives bit, and he goes, And these are my wives. And the voice dropped and he just did that. Like it's a it's a power of his voice that he can just do that. Make seven moments here. She's like, remember. We'll be back. If you we'll be back. Yes. So like he was doing he can he was dropping the octave basically and just and and doing it. So everyone had like a bit of a crush. And Nils bless him, ⁓ you know, obviously was within that crew. Now, we were doing ⁓ Sulein came up with this idea, she has a background of theatre, that we would reenact prologues from the books. And because we had some first time ⁓ readers there, some who worried about spoilers, some who weren't, ⁓ we asked everyone to like change the names, give it a like different dynamic, you know, add things. So we had s people, you know It was so funny. We had Lan meeting Bulin and then, you know, getting a whole bunch of warriors helping me go to the to the ⁓ to the blight. ⁓ that was reacted reenacted silently. And then it ended with a conga line forming. So it got two or three people in the audience to be like, at the right moment, come up and join a conga line and we a conga line going out the room and back in again for a different door. It was that's amazing. ⁓ we had the beating of the Borderlander Kings and Queens ⁓ turn into a meeting of the cast from Shrek. ⁓ where everyone was trying to make Fiona get married, and Fiona was played by CJ, ⁓ who's a lesbian, and was just like, I'm a lesbian, okay? I don't want Shrek. I want someone, you know, and it was just this whole gimmick because of you should marry my cousin type thing. And she's I'm not into it, you know. ⁓ Skeetis Barody from Thank you, LBF, ⁓ for Bjorn was dream a dream a little dream of a mice. ⁓ my god, that's amazing. Very perfect. ⁓ so we had these great things, like someone someone did like a like a fight scene from an old school video game, you know, like the 2D thing where it's like fights like Mortal Kombat or something like that. And they, you know, people in the background had like health indicators of various levels on paper that they were stripping away as attacks landed and such. And that's the fight from Galard and which white cloak does he fight? Which everyone is in Valda, that's it. Yeah. You know, so it was really hilarious and and just ⁓ you know the really interesting way everyone pulled them together. ⁓ but to warm everybody up, Sullen had folks like, you know, Here I have the room, vocal warm-ups, this, that, and the other. And then to get people into the a little bit out of the comfort zone and and think about like space and and ⁓ creativity and such, she got someone to pretend to be a tree. So please stand go stand over there, be a tree. Now, a few other people, please go and and be more trees and ⁓ and other items you would see in a forest. So we had people going up and being like, I'm a tree, I'm a bush, and then someone laid on the floor like a wig wiggly shape, it's like I'm a river. And then she's like, right, and and just started encouraging more and more people until everyone was up and had formed a forest. Okay? Now Nils, at the end of the river, which was like four or five people long at this stage, curled up into ball and was like, I'm a lake at the end of the river. ⁓ Which is brilliant. But then there's this that moment. Bjorn also wanted to join in. And so he was like, and I misheard this, and I thought he said bolder at first. ⁓ but that what he actually said was apparently was ⁓ an I am a boat on the river. so the way he did that was to sit on nils which I'm showing a photo on screen now so it makes it to be a sailboat. Man, those quads, if he was holding that for a while. Well no, no, he is actually sitting on nils. And Nils after was like Bjorn sat on me, Beyond sad on me, Bjorn put his butt on me. You know? It's like we're just so funny. ⁓ but here's the best bit about it. In the charades that we ⁓ was our first panel, it's one of our it's hilarious ones that we studied the previous year. you've got to reenact certain things in a style of charades, but like the next person in the room ⁓ next person to play is the only one in the room. The rest of your group are out of the room and don't know what is being acted and it goes through one it goes through like Four people when the person at the end has to guess, and then the fourth person guess, the third person guess, and the only the first person knows, and you can't confirm or deny or say anything as it goes through this. So the actions are crazy. We had someone who couldn't figure out how to do something, and they were like, you know, doing that like hand against the head, looking confused, and this and the other, and they were the second person. and then the third person thought that that was part of whatever it was, so then they acted that out and it made its way to the last person. Yeah, so got added into the acting mix. It was just so funny. During that, one of the items, one the locations, they 'cause it's like a a person, a thing, and a location, one of the locations was the fish fuck hut. Acting out in charades was hilarious. Yes. ⁓ but the hut part of that was hands above your head in a in a in a triangle shape, because that's the hut, you know. Right. So of course the next day when Bjorn sat on top of Nils at the end of a river doing that. Everybody's he's the he's the fishfucker, you know. So it was like a like a little sub joke as well. I think if we'd explained that to him he would have found it funny, but yeah. It was just he was just down to everything and it was so good. It's great. And he liked enjoyed the cushion contest and and and all those things and it was just just absolutely hilarious. ⁓ and I did folks I did rave to him for a full day. Yeah so we turned up at lunchtime on Saturday ⁓ drove himself over from Germany And ⁓ then he went home Sunday morning type thing. So we had him for Saturday, he was there. he left just before ten o'clock at night. ⁓ 'cause we did so we had an interview with him first and then we had like a few panels and then him and I had some dinner, ⁓ well, everyone else was doing getting ready for costume contest, this and the other, and then we back up and ⁓ he judged the contest along with ⁓ Kat and Spuds and Jazz who joined us this year as well. ⁓ So the fourth there, because of th two or three judges of the marks and get a bit too close. No, ja Jazz. Not Jess. Jazz. ⁓ Jazz. It was Elliot's friend that he brought up. Got it, got it, got it. Yeah. So because Kat wasn't entering this year. Yes, Jesse was there. Jess entered. Did did Jess enter? Yeah, I'm pretty sure Jess entered the costume contest. ⁓ because they had a photo of all of the aiel, there was motel aile, you know, the themed after this year. ⁓ there was a photo. Was Charlie a persimmon tree? Charlie was Alcara's squash garden. Squash Garden. I was like, I was trying to figure out what Charlie was. That's fucking amazing. It is. And ⁓ Mike, Mike was hilarious. So Mike was ⁓ he was Greg, the stone dog. And as he was like performing his like stunt or whatever he was doing coming through, he went to pull out a spear and fully broke the spear as he was trying to like draw the spear out and flick it around. And we were like, how perfect for a stone dog that you broke your own spear whilst using it, you know? That is fair. Let me let me say to all of y'all who are about to get these costumes that it is not easy to get a spear in and out. I will just No. I will just ⁓ tell you that they are not So you've tried. ⁓ yeah. I mean it wasn't a spear, it was it do you ha I was like, Do you have a spear? Was like a No, but I have and I I have actually a little dowel that is the perfect that is the perfect that I use to hold up my window in the kitchen because then it doesn't stay up. It's a broken it's a broken double hung. And so yeah, I p had that in there and I was like and then like trying to get it back in was almost impossible because there's three loops. Anyway, just saying don't hurt yourselves when you're trying to do that. Yeah, don't don't hurt yourself, folks. ⁓ so here we go. So we had Automasedai, who was ⁓ from a different turn of the wheel where Sedar was tainted by the Dark One. and they were from the Green Ajah and and out there fighting like the Green Asia does, but they could also chant you know, channeling and and and fighting and things. It was good fun. It was like they were hunting ⁓ yeah, like ⁓ of course, after spending so much time hunting the shadow, one inevitably learns a little too much about how it thinks. Some might even wonder where exactly all that knowledge comes from. But I assure you, those are merely unfounded rumors. You know, everyone has a story that I read out. So it's good fun. That's great. We have Victoria, who was ⁓ a dark friend party girl. And was like in a party mask and like, you know, print up in a in a you know yeah, like a like a nice form-fitting outfit, shall we say? ⁓ we had Brenian Sadai, ⁓ brown archive with more than a hint of green, so i.e. a slutty brown, so we had a lot of fun with that. Mistress Dovey was came in in a bedtime Alana outfit. Yeah, she wore that at Wacan too. Yeah. And Fed so to get a ribbon from her you had to be you had to say ⁓ a pleasure pl pledge. And at the end of it she would feed you a seed from a ⁓ pomegranate. ⁓ pomeg pomegranate. Pomegranate, yes. And ⁓ she got to do that to Bjorn. She did it to Alana as or I'm sorry. I'm sorry, not Alana. Priya as well. Yeah. At Wacan. I took a mist ⁓ photo of that. That's great. Mistress Do ⁓ sorry, ⁓ Roofmistress Lair was there as as a roofmistress. Raheen, which is that is Florian. ⁓ they were there as a ⁓ is the old time for dawn, is what it means. They're a new founded rainbow river scepter to Tada Dayel from the fourth age. ⁓ and he found out he could channel. actually trying to find off and save his ⁓ his colleague so ⁓ he has like an ice dye ring as a as a as a token. We had ⁓ Ashkova there as Savannah which Bjorn was like this is the study that we've got With her actual porcupine spine. Yeah with the actual porcupine. She didn't have to bring the two things across America across the the the plant and th this is why Mike's outfit is so perfect. Greg, a Shido Stone Dog was not the sharpest spear in the clan. This last raid he even forgot to bring his black veil, or so he kept tripping on his spears. Today's a bright day. Savannah has taken charge of the clan now and she'll make the shadow great again and Greg will help her. And I'm just like, how perfect is this? It's like broken as spears. And Ashakova had white baseball caps written that had like in like glittered on them or painted on them in gold. ⁓ said it said MAGA. But it's make IEL great again and Savannah was handing them out to people. I was like such a good thing. Really funny. Yeah. I saw I saw that on Doby and I was like. ⁓ don't line up those two things. But when you zoom in, and it is written underneath, it does say make Iel. Yes, we had to zoom in. David David was like, wait what? And I was like, hang on, there's more to this. Hang on. Don't be right now. Yes. So funny, everyone who took one was like, well, I can't take this to America, can I? ⁓ Charlie was our Sarah's squash garden. talking about fucking insane. Her costume was beautiful and I was like I was trying to figure it I was like, persimmons, what is she? That's fucking brilliant. The vertical garden. ⁓ my god, she's killing me. Charlie I love And we had ⁓ Jitka who comes ⁓ goes by Moraine ⁓ online and in in the servers and that come as Maureen Sadai. But this is like when she's off to Iridian. So she got to a certain point in the in the walk and had to like disarm herself. And I swear she hit about fifteen knives around her person. ⁓ that's awesome. She just kept taking them out from different places. I was like, yeah, this is so good. ⁓ and then we wrapped it up with ⁓ CJ who was Butch Semarag. Turned in with like had like a horse crop and everything. ⁓ my god, I love it. Perfect. So yeah. Like Mistress Semarag. Basically, yeah. So that was yeah, Bjorn was like, This is wild, what's going on? This is so good. He's like, I think his comment was there's so much sex And I'm like you know, we're we're a horny bunch of people, so yeah, okay. yeah, but it was just such a good weekend. ⁓ we did all we did a lot of our normal traditional things, like hit up the boat on Sunday night and ⁓ folks went to medieval dinner and such like that. I actually made it to Dog bar, which is an underground bar in Prague, which I have Was that the place with like the the casks or whatever? And you guys were singing Hills of Tanchico, or where was that? No, that was the medieval bar that folks went to on the Thursday night and pre pre con. So the the Underground Bar, it's like if somewhat it ⁓ there aren't black lights everywhere, but it's like a place where you would expect there to be black lights and neon paint all over the place and it's got like One tiny weird shaped room that has foosball tables and another one that has like a tiny cinema screen that four people can sit at. It plays weird black and white movies. And then there's a a room that serves tea. And then there's another bar that has or another room that has like a pit and a viewing stage over the top of it. And on the main stage in front of the pit is a band and they do live karaoke, which a lot of us got up and sang at, myself included. and ⁓ yeah, I'd never actually made it to this bar but I missed Becky's b ⁓ Becky's birthday and and she was like I've never made it in all of my trips to Prague, much to everyone's dismay, and this I was like, Yeah, okay, fine, I won't go. ⁓ so yeah, it was just a just a great weekend all round. And it was it kind of felt like the perfect way to wrap up our weekend in Prague. It was like the the smoothest convention we've done so far. Nice. Which I was really proud of. Like we had two moments of technical hitches, ⁓ which solved in like a few minutes. One where I was like so asleep, I just realized I hadn't put the using StreamYard, I hadn't taken the laptop connection that was 'cause I had the the video and sound on two different laptops because of locations. And you have to end to getting technical here folks, to put the sound in the stream, you have to turn off the video on that StreamYard feed and add it to the stream. ⁓ so it's there in sound only and it's not there visually and then the video is muted and that's in with just video. So you get the and they do line up pretty well. I just hadn't added the sound into the stream. So I spent like three or four minutes trying to figure you play with settings on my new new equipment and stuff that we had this year. And then I was just like looked at the little laptop, I'm like, ⁓ wait one second. Boop, done. Fixed. So a couple of tiny hitches like that, ⁓ which were so easily fixed unlike other years where we've had things go wrong and all like, I can't fix this, I don't know what to do. and CJ, who hasn't been since our first year, absolutely raved. ⁓ she's like you know, the difference between the first year and this year. Like I had a great time the first year, but this is like a really well put together slick event that's like, you know, just leaps and bounds ahead of where it was. And I had a great time that first year. So she's like ⁓ so that was nice to hear. ⁓ all the first time and said they want to come back. All the regulars had a great time, no hitches, and then we had that. So I was just like ⁓ LBF, did anyone sing a What Idol parody? If so the band was probably very confused. I feel like Ricoy actually did play some parody, say some parody lyrics to one the songs because he was up on stage and I did see the band, like the the guitarists of of the the bass and the main guitarist look at each other a bit like, Huh It's weird. I have a new appreciation for performing live. No it wasn't. ⁓ you had a limited list of what you could actually pick from. There was like I don't know like fifty songs or something like that. But one of them I think what did did fit a parody so he was doing it. ⁓ but yeah, I have a due appreciation of people who perform live and have those earplugs in because I couldn't really hear myself and it was tough to hear where I was in the song sometimes. I did Castle on Hill by Achiran. ⁓ and so like a couple of the verses I'm like I had to like stumble through because I wasn't quite sure on timings and things like that, even though I just I know that song very well. so yeah, it was like you couldn't really hear yourself singing, you couldn't like pick out the the it was all just a big blare of noise round King. Yeah, yeah. Okay. ⁓ so it was it was good fun. ⁓ but yeah, I have appreciation for why they wear those headphones, those earpieces now so they can actually like hear the song or he you know hear themselves or whatever it is. Yeah. ⁓ but yeah, it was just so much fun. And then ⁓ we announced you can come see us in Prague next ⁓ in ⁓ Croatia next year. I was like wait a minute No. We've d we've done with Prague for the moment it doesn't mean we'll never go back, but we're done for the moment. So we're gonna hit up Zagreb in Croatia next year. ⁓ the dates are the fourth to no sorry, the third to the fifth of September. So the first weekend in September. ⁓ you can buy your tickets now. There is a dinner option. There will be a room rate option that's ⁓ we think is a good deal. ⁓ that comes with breakfast included. The hotel is kinda swanky. we went I went looking through the hotel pages and like you can get like giant bathtubs, like standalone bathtubs in your room. You can get Hammocks and different kind of other ⁓ hanging napping options, shall we say? I'm gonna leave that there. Then they're not the standard room rate option. You will have to upgrade. It's a swing. It looks it's not a sex swing, I don't think. ⁓ because Dovey was like, I'm not sure that would work perfectly, but you could think it works. I mean, who else am I gonna ask that I know is gonna be able comfortable giving me an answer? I'm not I'm sure there are people there that have used them, but maybe not comfortable saying so. No, but Dovey will be She's happy to educate any of us. Exactly. ⁓ but it's like a sports hotel. So there's a pool on the roof, ⁓ and it has really interesting options for the rooms. ⁓ and I'm sure some of it is. Okay, I gotta look this up because you're just intriguing me. Hotel zona in Zagreb, which is just fun. I love it. It's also a really fun name, yeah, exactly. Yeah. Hotel Sumnar Yes. Z Z O N A R So I'm glad you're both googling now. Yeah, we are. What is You just look at the images, some of the rooms, you're just like, what have we found? Anyway, you can join us for that. You can obviously just come to the convention to have fun. ⁓ the t shirt option will be there. and the meal option there, which is the Friday night. So you can join us for that. It will include an alcoholic beverage. ⁓ the difference between having a non alcoholic beverage included and alcoholic beverage included was two euros. So we're like, we'll we'll splash out and go for that option, please. ⁓ and then folks have that. ⁓ and if you don't want alcoholic beverage because you don't drink, you just give it to someone else and just, you know, roll from that. And that obviously soft drinks are standard. so yeah, with lots of fun options there. The room rate will come out ⁓ at some point in the next couple months. I just need to pin down the hotel coordinator. ⁓ they've been away, so I couldn't get that organized. But ⁓ the tickets are on sale. Malkittalks.com slash MalCuricon. And you'll be able to find it. It will take you there straight away. And yeah, I just I can't wait. And the theme for next year, so you can think about your cosplays, which some people are already doing, which kinda blows my mind a little bit. the theme for next year, because we're on ⁓ the sixth Malcury con and the sixth book is Lord of Chaos, we are going for a Dark Friend theme next year. So Yeah. Bring your scary outfits. There is a room, I think. Are you thinking about a particular guest? Millie Skin. Not sure about guests at this stage. obviously now we're getting slightly further out, ⁓ for like flying somewhere near. So how can we get you there, Jin? Farez, phare's. I mean there are a lot of good options. It's cost, isn't it? I'm just saying I'm just saying I think that would get that that could get me there. I'm I'm not promising anything. Kate as well would be great. But I'm what? Kate Kate Kate Fleetwood would be great. Of course. I mean no, there's some there's some amazing ones. I mean Kate I've got I mean I I'm not sure if Kate's in the budget. ⁓ if you get Natasha, David will be there. I mean if I get Natasha like everything's coming back, so you know. Yeah. That's pretty So ⁓ I'm not sure I'm not sure they're in my budget. We'll see. We'll we'll talk later. I've I've I've had ideas. ⁓ it all it all depends how things pan out, how ticket sales go. Because the earlier every ⁓ there is also an early bird special. ⁓ obviously everything's going up folks. ⁓ there's only so much we can limit those ⁓ w how the world is going. ⁓ so ⁓ to to try and help people as much as possible. The tickets ⁓ on sale now until December first. are the same price as they would have. ⁓ the hangout room. That's interesting. Is that the one with the big giant black spear? No, this is the one with the like gymnastics rings. ⁓ yes. ⁓ you're still looking at the rooms. Yes, there's gymnastics. See what I mean? But the one with the but the one with the black spear, the one with the black sphere, it's like it looks like a charome. It does, doesn't it? Yeah. That's the what Nil sent that when he first found out about the hotel. He's like this is the ⁓ so you do have to get Natasha. So I do have to get Sasha. ⁓ yeah. Well going back to that point. ⁓ sorry if you buy your ticket. If you buy your ticket before December thirst, it's the same cost as it was for the event just gone this year, ⁓ ninety five pounds. ⁓ but it will go up after that by ten pounds, it'll be a hundred and five instead. ⁓ the costs are going up and we just we want to give you the option and like not just like, you know, here's you know, a week or forty eight hours or whatever to get a discounted rate and this, that and the other. We're like we just want to ⁓ you know, give you ⁓ some time there to encourage you know, not just early sales, but also to allow you to get the the cheaper ticket. ⁓ but yeah things things do go up, rooms, you know, hotels charge more for things and and and so on and so forth. So it's just the nature we tried to limit that as much as we can and this year unfortunately we're like, well, we need to split the difference. ⁓ so it's in your interest to buy it early. ⁓ but if you can't, you know, the tickets will still be available. up to my room occupancy allowance, which I think I'm gonna cap at a hundred actually. Not that we've gotten there at any point, but I might I like the intimacy of Malkiricon and I might cap it at a hundred. The room could take a hundred and forty or something, I think, but I might cap it at one hundred. ⁓ so yeah. ⁓ and that's it. Do you have any questions about the weekend? Like anything you've heard or saw, you know? I've been better at social media this year, but ⁓ still not to like at what con level or anything like that. I do appreciate the clarification for Ashakova's very dark humor in her MAGA hats. Yes. Because I was like I was like I read it and I knew that it was a joke, but I now that I'm hearing like that Ashikova as Savannah was handing them out, that's fucking hilarious. And I love but I do appreciate that. I I was I was borderline. I see the swing. You found the swing. Arthur. Yes. Fair enough. Folks, you can go Google and find the swing and please let us know on our social media if you think it's a sex swing. Yeah, I I think if she wasn't Savannah, she couldn't hand out those hats, it wouldn't work. Yeah. No. It was perfect, though. It was really fucking delicate. It works it works for Savannah, yeah. And I see why she didn't take them to work on. Yeah. Not that I think more constable of MAGA heads, but you know what I'm saying. Like It is Ohio, so you never know. You never know. Yeah. People surprise people all the time. So ⁓ And and how I mean did you did you Like in talking about like a after, you know, in the fifth year it was smoother, like things are w running better, all of that. Also did you how did how was it for you? Did you have a was it the best one so far for you in terms of just like enjoyment and it running itself? Yeah, I think i it it always goes quick because I'm working it. ⁓ it's the same for Sulan as well. With the both of us are working it so we don't actually like we're not at the point we don't need a giant team to run the event. I we don't need like most of the year the committee that we have, their job is to just like, hey, we're thinking this or here's an update of what's happening. Like they're just there, just like They don't have to do anything. And then we get like two months out and we start like adding in a few jobs. Neve talks to me about the auction, you know, things like that. But like For nine, ten months of the year, they don't have to do anything because there's not much that like Becky and I can't just like plan us for ourselves. Because that's how we've been doing and it's what it is. ⁓ and we compliment each other very well on what we do and don't do and like how we work with each other, and even when we're upset with each other 'cause those things are stressing us out, it's still not like a problem. Like it's an easy vibe. But it is it is a working weekend. you know, and although we do have people that will run tech for things, like there was new equipment this year, we we got like the sound mixer and the mics, which work Great, by the way. Awesome. So we'll have no problems next year at Whatcom with recording whatever guests they have. So yes, I'm looking forward to that. And I managed to get them through I like worked out how to, you luggage and get them through airport security and all that sort of stuff. So it was like it was wonderful. so even though like we have people that like know how to run StreamYard and stuff like that, which is how we stream it to the ⁓ to the the private streams for folks to watch, it is you know, I'm still there like, do I need to do something? Am I around? has anything happened? you know, a couple of times I did get caught to things, you know, just to check or whatever. You know, it's just just how it is. so we do get time and we don't. ⁓ so we like we build in it's we we do a quiz, which is a thing that I love. Sunday morning of the of the convention. That'll never change. We love the quiz on the Sunday morning. It starts at 10, so it's not even that you know, but if you don't want to do the quiz, if you had a rough Saturday night, which does happen to a lot of people, you know, and you're like, I'm gonna skip the morning, ⁓ you're only missing a quiz. You know, you're not missing a big panel or a discussion or things like that. So it's like less of a less of a thing to worry about missing. And that's when Becky and I sit down and do closing ceremonies, because we've got to put in the scavenger hunt from Hunt for the Horn, there's photos and things from that. I've got to go through you know, ⁓ closing ceremonies and add in ⁓ photos from the weekend for like when I thank people that do things, like the people who run registration for us. So you the the committee where they're like sitting on panels, mic people, memos, stuff like that. So I try to take photos from the weekend to like add those in. So like the you know, even though we're not on anything, ⁓ like I didn't have to be on a panel until closing ceremonies on Sunday. I didn't have to do anything for it. ⁓ I just turned up to make sure that everything started right and off you go and I came back. ⁓ I was still then just working on closing ceremonies instead. So, you know, it's like it there there's always that stuff. So goes very quick, but I do enjoy it. And then Sunday night hits and we don't do anything. Like we go on the booth. Right. You know, and I'm just like I'm just chilling. I went for a nap. You know. Yeah. so we do take time here and there to do things like I went out Sunday night, I think Friday night we stayed up. Becky and I were in an Airbnb literally across the street. Which is flawless 'cause we a little bit of time away from everywhere, but we were right there type thing. Room each, all that sort of stuff. and ⁓ but we only want set of keys. So love. Love you, but you wanna she wanted to stay up till like drinking with everyone in the hotel lobby and the the hotel like the hotel now that we're not there I can say this. ⁓ not that they listen to this, but the hotel are great and they're also shit. ⁓ no. So they don't give us a great deal. They're hard to work with. They changed the layout of the of the event rooms this year without telling us until the very last second. And it like it could have affected one of our attendees who turns up in an electric wheelchair, but he's like going through a process where like being off the chair is actually better for him at the moment, his medical stuff. ⁓ so like it didn't affect him, but like the lobby space was now up some stairs as opposed to being just straight as you enter, stuff like that, you know. So we had to like change the risk assessment, you know, the the emergency plans and things like that last second. Yeah. ⁓ but the bar staff are brilliant. They love us. Absolutely I mean, we spend a lot of money behind the bar, but they absolutely love us. like you're so friendly, you're so nice. Yeah, you move everything around, but then when you finish you put it all back. You know? Mm-hmm. You don't cause us any problems, you don't have fights, you don't make a mess, you know? And then like at one point it was on the Friday night, everyone had just like brought booze with them to the to the con to the con, but like for the weekend or the week or whatever they were there for. And they were like, Look, we're just gonna bring this in with us. ⁓ but we're not actually like gonna drink it. Some of us are like you brought it for other people and this, that and the other and blah blah blah. And they were like, Do whatever you like. You know, you you've spent a fortune behind the bar, sit there and drink it for a week air, you know. And so we were like, Okay and people had mixes with them 'cause they were were trying to be sneaky, let's be honest, we all try and bring our own booze to conventions. Like I'm not gonna pretend like we don't do that. I definitely do that. Meg does that. But Meg is she's pointing at a bar, everybody. So, you know Like we all get it, it's a thing. and ⁓ they were like, Yeah, we don't give a shit So we literally had like I don't know, like fifteen different bottles and like six bottles of mixers and we just kept reusing the glasses they gave us. it was like three in the morning by the time we all left and I was like I was very tired 'cause but there was only one set of keys. I'm like, could have taken the keys and gone back I'm like and then what, get a phone call at three in the morning, Rob let me in? Right. That's like I'll just stay up and hang. So you know, it's like it's just how it is, but It's great, I do enjoy it. And the the I got I won't say who, 'cause I don't wanna like name names. It's n it's a good thing, it's not a bad thing, but I again I don't want to embarrass them or make them feel obligated for anything, or also anyone to listen to this and be like, Huh, why did you think that about Malkiricon and not Watcon? ⁓ but they said they've been to all three of the conventions now, JohnCon, WatCon and Malkiricon. And they said overall, MalkiriCon is their favourite. No And I was just like that was really sweet, you know? Yeah. so and they're like I will be coming more often. ⁓ like I have such a great year. Like Dovey's Dovey loves Burning Man and now enjoys coming to WatCon so much she's going to alternate years between MalkiriCon and Burning Man. And I was like, That is a huge compliment. ⁓ wow. Yeah. Because Burning Man's not a that's no small deal. Like that's a big thing. And she loves it so much, she's like, I'll come alternate years. So So I got compliments like that and I was like, That is, you know, that is really something. And Bjorn was like, he's never been to a convention in his life and he's like, That was, you know, a beautiful experience. He's like absolutely loved every second of it. I would I would come back in a heartbeat. And I did I did big up Watcon for him. ⁓ I was like, Watcon would be great, it's a lot more people, so you you you know I don't know how involved you could be with everybody type thing and it's there's a lot more fanfare to it and stuff like that. There's like a big stage and s you know, so on and so forth. ⁓ but it's wonderful experience. You'd have a great time, everyone who's gone. Yes, I would love to see you at Watkon, Bjorn. Please come visit. Yes, please. Thank you. Then then he did mention I don't know if you saw this, but he did a couple of skits, ⁓ when ⁓ a certain leader of ⁓ quote the three world decided that he wanted to purchase a large island next to his country. ⁓ and that kinda you know and he made some skits about that and ⁓ he's worried that those things would flag if he were to travel to America. And I'm like that's a very valid concern sadly. so it's it's not that it was a Yeah. So but I did I did my best to recommend that if he was asked to go that he should seriously consider it because I think he would have an amazing time. So we are well versed at ⁓ handling celebrities, the two of us. You are well versed at handling celebrities. Yeah. So yeah, I I think that's it. I don't want to reveal every single weekend. I'm sure you would. Wait, I was gonna say, is Troy sh please tell me Troy isn't listening right now. And he never will. LBF, I'll buy Bjorn a hotel room. Thank you, LBF. I love that. ⁓ ⁓ a couple of shout outs. ⁓ obviously just the team is great. ⁓ but we are looking for a new person to join the team. ⁓ someone to be like a marketing manager type thing. So one th one area where Becky and I ⁓ both fall down is ⁓ hitting up the social media, sending out email updates, you know, all that sort of thing. It's just ⁓ something we've been terrible at. We've tried to give to people in the past and ⁓ It's just not worked. ⁓ so like I've handled it and when we've remembered. So it's not great. So we are looking for someone who and you don't have to have like a marketing background or something. If you're like, you know what, I can say, right, at this point you need to send an email about that, at this point you need to send an email about this. ⁓ we need to post about something here, we need to post about that there, like, you know, stuff like that. And it you don't always have to like do it. You could put it together and be like, Rob, here's the email and send it out. And I'd be like, Yes, done. Go send it out, I think. So, you know, there's flexibility on also if I mean if you have the background and you're like, I could do this, give me the access, I'd be like, There you go, go do it, please. You know, I'm not you know, there is flexibility on it. ⁓ but as we said at closing ceremonies, we are looking for someone to join the team who can do that. Ideally, someone who's going to be at the convention too. ⁓ you know, obviously there's there's an advantage to that, but you know, if you ⁓ not going to be there every year or whatever, like, you know, ⁓ for the right person we could discuss that as well type thing. ⁓ so if you're listening and being like I like going or I would would like to go type thing and you're like maybe. I mean this sounds like a job for lonely as guysane if I'm saying that Dan I would love I would love that. ⁓ yeah, that would be amazing. But Just occurred to me I should beat that. No no he boosts it out. He posts it out, it's fine. ⁓ I haven't given anything else, it's just his first name. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, Dan, if you want that, ⁓ please. I would say yes in my heartbeats. ⁓ but yeah, that's it. So ⁓ look out, things will be coming out.
