ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Few figures in British music have shaped the public image of artists quite like Alan Edwards. As one of the most influential music PRs of the past four decades, he’s been the force behind some of the industry’s most iconic names, including Prince, David Bowie and The Spice Girls, navigating fame, controversy and cultural moments with a rare mix of instinct and strategy.
In this episode of Three Rooms, Alan reflects on the spaces that have defined him. From the Covent Garden office where careers were built to a 'big birthday' party venue, he shares candid insights and stories.
This episode takes us behind-the-scenes of music and popular culture, and is Alan's uniquely thoughtful look at what it means to manage image in an age where everyone is their own publicist.
