ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What do a ’68 Mercury Cougar, a four-cylinder Camaro, Matchbox Twenty, and one very nervous Joshua have in common? Somehow, they all found their way into this episode of Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D.
Joe and Pastor Dewayne talk about what it means to dream big as a Christian—and whether our dreams should look different when God is involved. How can we tell the difference between a God-given calling and something we simply want? When should we wait, when should we move, and how do we know when it’s finally time to jump?
They also wrestle with fear, failure, planning, conflicting advice, unexpected setbacks, and whether choosing the safe path can limit what God wants to accomplish through us. Plus, Pastor-D reveals what he might pursue if money, fear, and failure were removed from the equation.
Can you be scared and still be following God? Does faith eliminate the need for a plan? And what exactly did Pastor-D mean when he said Christians have access to “the vault of the King?"
Listen in—if you can get past the fact that someone willingly traded a classic Cougar for a four-cylinder Camaro.
