ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What happens when a Christian deconstructs their faith and walks away from Christianity? In this video, we respond to Dr. Todd Phillips’ video explaining why he left Christianity after spending 20 years as a pastor. His story raises important questions about Christian faith, doubt, deconstruction, the Bible, Jesus, and whether Christianity is actually true.If you are a Christian struggling with doubt, a new Christian trying to strengthen your faith, someone who is curious about Jesus, or a skeptic questioning Christianity, this conversation is for you. We take a serious look at the claims made in Christian deconstruction and examine whether the reasons people leave the faith actually hold up.Christian deconstruction has become increasingly common, but questioning Christianity does not mean you have to abandon your faith. In this response, we explore biblical Christianity, Christian apologetics, evidence for Christianity, arguments for God, the reliability of the Bible, and the historical case for Jesus.Whether you are questioning your faith, exploring Christianity for the first time, or looking for answers to common objections against Christianity, our goal is to encourage honest questions and thoughtful answers.Enjoy!
