Some friendships just stay with you. My guest today, Chrissy Scarsella Harrison, was my big sister in our sorority at James Madison University, and even back then, she had this incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome.
Today, Chrissy is the founder of Elsie Frieda, a colorful jewelry brand that began in her guest room and made its way onto Netflix's Outer Banks and into a Richmond, Virginia storefront. But what I love most about Chrissy's story is how the people in her life helped her build something she didn't always believe she could build.
Chrissy shares how friendships opened doors, how she learned the business by asking questions, and why the hard work only intensified after her brand took off. She also opens up about motherhood, the responsibility she feels toward the people who've supported her, and the confidence she's still learning to embrace.
