ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In the very first episode of The Triple Effect, I sit down with my good friend Lottie Ryan for a deeply personal and revealing conversation. Lottie opens up about her marriage, the lessons she learned—though didn’t necessarily welcome—after the loss of her father, and the incredibly tough journey she faced during her pregnancy—an experience that tested her in ways she never expected and ultimately transformed her.
This episode offers a rare glimpse into a side of Lottie that most people rarely see. She’s insightful, grounded, and guided by a strong moral compass. Family is everything to her, and when confronted with the possibility of not carrying her pregnancy to full term, she uncovered a strength she didn’t know she had. That chapter in her life shaped a more powerful, self-assured version of herself—one who commands respect and isn’t afraid to speak her truth.
She also shares her honest thoughts on vulnerability, the pressures of public perception, and where she envisions her career going—on her own terms, not anyone else’s.
And to top it all off, I surprise Lottie with some very special news at the end of the episode—her reaction is just gorgeous!
