ABOUT THIS EPISODE
TOM SANDOVAL GETS EXPOSED! KRISTEN DEMANDS ANSWERS! AND SCHEANA'S BIRTHDAY TURNS INTO CHAOS!
WE'RE BACK AT SUR!
Joshie Lopez officially kicks off SEASON TWO of The SUR Files: Vanderpump Rules Rewatch, and if you thought the first season was chaotic, you haven't seen anything yet!
Originally airing November 4, 2013, the Season Two premiere throws us right back into the madness of West Hollywood, where cheating scandals, fractured friendships, questionable excuses, and explosive birthday parties are once again taking center stage.
But this week, Joshie has a particularly important conversation about self-respect, personal accountability, and why the phrase "moment of weakness" has become one of the most convenient excuses in modern relationships.
🔥 TOM SANDOVAL'S VEGAS CHEATING SCANDAL! Kristen Doute discovers that Tom Sandoval cheated on her with a woman in Las Vegas, and their already complicated relationship begins unraveling. Sandoval attempts to explain his actions and reverts to deflecting about lack of intimacy and it's not a good excuse.
🔥 KRISTEN DOUTE WANTS ANSWERS! Kristen is understandably furious about Tom's infidelity, but their relationship raises questions about trust, communication, and whether two people can genuinely rebuild something after betrayal. Joshie examines the difference between demanding accountability and staying trapped in an unhealthy cycle of arguments and resentment.
🔥 SCHEANA SHAY'S TOOTH DRAMA! Following a dental emergency and surgery, Scheana is upset that several of her SUR coworkers failed to check on her. With Brandi Glanville making comments about her appearance, Scheana's frustration reaches another level. Is Scheana asking for basic compassion, or expecting emotional support from people who aren't genuinely her friends?
🔥 KYLE RICHARDS' BEVERLY HILLS PARTY! Lisa Vanderpump brings the SUR staff together to cater an event for Kyle Richards, but the tension between Brandi Glanville and Scheana Shay threatens to overshadow the evening. Meanwhile, Kristen's personal drama creates another workplace headache for Lisa.
🔥 JAX TAYLOR STILL WANTS STASSI! After finally admitting the truth about his Las Vegas cheating scandal, Jax continues trying to win back Stassi Schroeder. But does admitting you cheated mean anything if you haven't demonstrated that you've actually changed?
🔥 SCHEANA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY EXPLODES! What should have been a celebration becomes another SUR disaster as tensions between Scheana, Katie Maloney, Stassi, and the rest of the group boil over. With Tom Schwartz and Mike Shay getting involved in the chaos, Season Two wastes absolutely no time delivering the drama!
🎙️ JOSHIE'S REALITY CHECK: THE “MOMENT OF WEAKNESS” EXCUSEThis week, Joshie takes aim at one of the most overused phrases in the history of dating and relationships:
“IT WAS JUST A MOMENT OF WEAKNESS.”
Really?
Joshie examines why that explanation is often less about genuine remorse and more about minimizing responsibility for a conscious decision.
Joshie challenges the idea that cheating should be treated as something that simply happens to people rather than something they actively choose to do.
IF YOU CAN MAKE A DECISION TO CHEAT, YOU CAN MAKE A DECISION TO WALK AWAY BEFORE IT HAPPENS.
And here's another question:
If you repeatedly describe your bad decisions as moments of weakness, at what point do those decisions become a reflection of your character?
🎙️ GUYS, WE NEED TO DO BETTER: COMMUNICATION AFTER CHEATINGJoshie also delivers an important message about how men communicate when they've been caught being unfaithful.
WHY DO SOME GUYS SPEND MORE TIME DEFENDING THEIR EXCUSES THAN ACKNOWLEDGING THE PAIN THEY CAUSED?
Instead of immediately taking responsibility, some people become defensive, minimize what happened, shift blame, or expect their partner to move on before trust has been rebuilt.
