ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Andrew and Harry dive into the position of "forward" for the fourth episode for "Positions Explained" to round out the 4 general types of positions on the football pitch!
They'll cover: the importance of traditional strikers or forwards and how that's changed a bit as the game has gotten more technical or has changed in terms of strategy, they'll talk about famous strikers and forwards (you've probably heard of a lot of them), and they'll talk about the evolution of the forward as a target man to more of a skilled player in the team.
Tune in and learn about Ronaldo (both of them! siiiiu), Messi (goat?), Rooney, Ibrahimovic, Haaland, Henry, and more players. Take back and share more knowledge about what a "false" and a "true" number nine means in football - we're excited for you to listen to our episode on forwards!
