ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What if the thing you call your greatest loss is actually the moment your real life begins?
Michael Padurano shares the raw, unfiltered story behind his transformation, from addiction, financial chaos, sixteen near-death experiences and abuse to a near-fatal triple major stroke, solo parenting three kids and rebuilding from homelessness. Michael is the founder of Inner Luminance, and he opens up about the experiences that forced him to question identity, attachment and the stories we tell ourselves to survive. What emerges is a powerful conversation about radical accountability, self-forgiveness, nervous system healing and why peace is the true baseline.
Roshni Dattani guides the conversation into the deeper layers of identity, judgment, manifestation, and belief, encouraging Michael to unpack how spiritual growth can become ego in disguise when it loses touch with accountability. Together, they explore the tension between the human experience and the soul experience, and why real transformation comes from embodiment, not performance. Michael also shares how his work evolved into tools for self-reflection and self-forgiveness, including journaling practices designed to help people rewrite their subconscious and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. His perspective is direct, uncompromising and deeply personal, shaped by years of lived experience rather than theory.
This episode is for anyone rebuilding after collapse, questioning the identities they have outgrown or searching for a more honest path to healing. If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s possible to turn pain into wisdom without bypassing the hard parts, this conversation will meet you there.
