Bridging Divides: Can Belonging fix what Business broke? | 019

Reconnecting human hearts inside broken systems & new perspectives on manhood

In this episode, I reconnect with Artem Beckmann, a culture consultant, men’s coach and community builder. We once crossed paths in the corporate world and have now come together again to question how we can create spaces of belonging and trust.
Artem opens up about his early drive to connect people, rooted in childhood moments of bridging divides even in schoolyards. This curiosity led him to navigate the
tension between business development and human-centred transformation.
Artem reflects on his migrant background and the sense of justice that shaped his commitment to help others see new paths beyond rigid systems. We speak about the painful polarisation he witnessed in Ukraine, an experience that fuels his belief that disconnection breeds vulnerability. Our conversation moves from the micro of individual loneliness to the macro of organisational development — and how real change demands integrating human connection with structural shifts.
We share insights from our co-facilitated CREATE Regeneration Convention, where we explored what it takes to move projects and organisations towards regeneration. Throughout, we hold up the messy reality: that inside big corporates, well-meaning projects can flourish, yet systems rarely integrate these experiments sustainably. Together, we wonder what it takes to bridge these worlds without losing our integrity.
For us, it’s about weaving, connecting and staying human while working for systemic change. The episode invites you to reflect on your role — whether you are a disruptor, a Trojan horse or a quiet bridge-builder. We hope our stories inspire you to stay curious about your own ‘we’.
