00:01:12.879 --> 00:01:15.760
more news about Metallica coming up today on the show.
13
00:01:16.280 --> 00:01:19.920
Excited to share that with you. I'll bust that information
14
00:01:19.959 --> 00:01:22.480
out in homeroom. I got Brandon going for whin number two,
15
00:01:22.480 --> 00:01:25.840

16
00:01:25.879 --> 00:01:28.239
ticket in there. Whoever wins freshout of head head to head.
17
00:01:28.239 --> 00:01:30.879
He was a fresh fish. Yesterday, Jillie put the pit
18
00:01:30.959 --> 00:01:33.920
tickets for tonight's Pierced the Veil show in homerooms. He
19
00:01:34.040 --> 00:01:36.959
must love you guys the most too, He put them
20
00:01:36.959 --> 00:01:39.239
in there on the fun Fact Flashback in the pit
21
00:01:39.519 --> 00:01:42.840
homeroom tonight Yeah, that's how much we love you Live
22
00:01:42.920 --> 00:01:46.719
Collective sold tickets at seven twenty Struts Dirty Hunting tickets
23
00:01:46.719 --> 00:01:49.040
early in the nine o'clock hour, volbeat hailstorm. But like
24
00:01:49.120 --> 00:01:51.640
I said, I do have some Metallica news for you
25
00:01:52.840 --> 00:01:56.400
dealing with the concert, with the sold out concert, thunderstorms,
26
00:01:56.400 --> 00:01:58.959
one hundred percent chance Hi today of around eighty three
27
00:01:59.040 --> 00:02:00.359
mos got Houston's head lines.
28
00:02:00.400 --> 00:02:01.920
Good morning, morning, Rod.
29
00:02:02.159 --> 00:02:05.200
We are closely following that weather today as we're having
30
00:02:05.239 --> 00:02:09.680
a rough commute ahead of us. Severe thunderstorms with gusty winds,
31
00:02:09.759 --> 00:02:13.560
isolated tornadoes and hail hitting us early this morning. And
32
00:02:13.680 --> 00:02:16.800
these storms are moving very slowly, and we hate to
33
00:02:16.840 --> 00:02:19.560
hear that in Houston because we know slow moving means
34
00:02:19.639 --> 00:02:21.080
flooding across our area.
35
00:02:21.639 --> 00:02:22.960
Rasoria, Matta, Gorna.
36
00:02:23.039 --> 00:02:25.080
Y'all are seeing the lightning, hearing the thunder as you're
37
00:02:25.120 --> 00:02:29.639
waking up. And that flash flood warning has been expanded
38
00:02:29.840 --> 00:02:33.479
Baytown Deer Park. It's parts of Harris Chambers, Liberty Counties
39
00:02:33.560 --> 00:02:38.000
until seven point thirty flash flood warning. Looking ahead. I'm
40
00:02:38.039 --> 00:02:40.840
trying to find some good here. Three to four pm.
41
00:02:40.919 --> 00:02:42.719
We should dry out, all right, Let's get through this
42
00:02:42.800 --> 00:02:47.639
morning demonstrations continue around the United States over these ice raids.
43
00:02:47.919 --> 00:02:50.879
Nearly four hundred protesters have been jailed in LA since
44
00:02:50.919 --> 00:02:52.000
the beginning of the protests.
45
00:02:52.039 --> 00:02:52.759
Over the weekend.
46
00:02:53.479 --> 00:02:57.840
Here in Texas, we're seeing San Antonio, Austin here in Houston,
47
00:02:58.080 --> 00:03:01.639
but Governor Abbott's office says text will not tolerate lawlessness
48
00:03:01.719 --> 00:03:04.240
that we've seen in LA. He does have the Texas
49
00:03:04.280 --> 00:03:07.520
National Guard soldiers on standby. In San Antonio, where I've
50
00:03:07.520 --> 00:03:11.159
been watching overnight, protests remained mostly peaceful.
51
00:03:12.759 --> 00:03:14.680
All right, I need to take a break now. I
52
00:03:14.759 --> 00:03:18.520
need a coffee. Coffee is the number one beverage we
53
00:03:18.560 --> 00:03:19.520
cannot live without.
54
00:03:19.680 --> 00:03:21.879
Rod I lived without it most of my life, Alex,
55
00:03:21.919 --> 00:03:22.960
you did the same. Yeah.
56
00:03:23.199 --> 00:03:26.120
We didn't start drinking it until I had children. Okay,
57
00:03:26.199 --> 00:03:27.360
so recently.
58
00:03:27.000 --> 00:03:28.759
You're a late in life coffee drinker as well, because
59
00:03:28.759 --> 00:03:31.080
you got young kids. Yes, I started during the pandemic.
60
00:03:31.639 --> 00:03:34.319
What Yep, I never drank coffee. I've been doing mornings
61
00:03:34.360 --> 00:03:36.919
forever too. Yeah, I just never did. Everybody thought that
62
00:03:36.960 --> 00:03:37.599
was the weirdest thing.
63
00:03:37.680 --> 00:03:40.680
Okay, so really actually cool study that I got into
64
00:03:40.719 --> 00:03:44.080
this morning. The company that owns Kuig also owns Doctor Pepper.
65
00:03:44.080 --> 00:03:46.479
A bunch of other brands. They just released a State
66
00:03:46.560 --> 00:03:51.800
of Beverages report, coffee officially the most important drink in
67
00:03:51.840 --> 00:03:54.439
the United States of America. Their poll found that it's
68
00:03:54.560 --> 00:03:57.360
number one beverage Americans cannot live without.
69
00:03:57.719 --> 00:04:01.599
And it's not actually our favorite drink, but we need
70
00:04:01.639 --> 00:04:02.919
it when we wake up, so.
71
00:04:03.000 --> 00:04:07.080
Does our number one guy, so favorite. Okay, so you're
72
00:04:07.080 --> 00:04:11.479
wording it specifically. People have told me they cannot function
73
00:04:11.639 --> 00:04:14.840
in the morning without coffee, and that's why I avoided
74
00:04:14.840 --> 00:04:16.800
it my whole life. I didn't want I didn't want
75
00:04:16.800 --> 00:04:17.199
to rely on it.
76
00:04:17.240 --> 00:04:18.920
I wantry that guy to.
77
00:04:18.920 --> 00:04:21.160
All those guys like in the in the early nineties
78
00:04:21.160 --> 00:04:23.480
that were doing morning shows all on blow, I didn't
79
00:04:23.480 --> 00:04:24.800
want to. I want to get involved in.
80
00:04:24.839 --> 00:04:27.839
I didn't want to rely on something to do this job, right,
81
00:04:28.079 --> 00:04:29.000
I didn't look into that.
82
00:04:29.480 --> 00:04:31.319
I also I looked for a state by state report,
83
00:04:31.439 --> 00:04:34.439
thinking that like doctor Pepper would surpass coffee in Texas,
84
00:04:34.439 --> 00:04:36.399
but they didn't do one of those. All right, let's
85
00:04:36.399 --> 00:04:39.399
talk about Britney Spears. Oh God, girlfriend, she's going off
86
00:04:39.480 --> 00:04:43.120
on our ex husbands off yesterday and Roger. She already
87
00:04:43.160 --> 00:04:46.959
deleted the Instagram post, which makes me want to know more.
88
00:04:47.279 --> 00:04:51.720
Oh, I saw it all right. Railing on her.
89
00:04:51.600 --> 00:04:54.879
Exes yesterday, she said, quote, I dated two f in
90
00:04:54.959 --> 00:04:59.480
complete a holes. I realized I loved their dogs more
91
00:04:59.560 --> 00:05:02.199
than them, and I think it's because their dog's bowed
92
00:05:02.240 --> 00:05:03.800
down to me every time I entered the room.
93
00:05:05.160 --> 00:05:07.120
She's fine, though, Guys, don't worry about her. I'm glad
94
00:05:07.120 --> 00:05:09.639
she's free. I'm glad that she's out there on her
95
00:05:09.639 --> 00:05:11.240
own creator. She's doing just fine.
96
00:05:11.519 --> 00:05:13.199
No words on who she was referring to.
97
00:05:14.120 --> 00:05:17.279
Sad news yesterday as the Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson
98
00:05:17.319 --> 00:05:20.600
has died. His family didn't announce the exact day or
99
00:05:20.680 --> 00:05:22.680
cause of death, but we all know he was diagnosed
100
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:23.240
with dementia.
101
00:05:24.000 --> 00:05:28.079
He was eighty two. He'd had a rough life, which
102
00:05:28.079 --> 00:05:29.079
I think is fair to say.
103
00:05:29.199 --> 00:05:33.040
He was considered one of the greatest pop songwriters of
104
00:05:33.079 --> 00:05:35.399
all time, and the Beach Boys issued a statement on
105
00:05:35.439 --> 00:05:38.519
their website saying, in part, Brian Wilson wasn't just the
106
00:05:38.560 --> 00:05:40.600
heart of the Beach Boys, he was the soul of
107
00:05:40.600 --> 00:05:43.680
our sound. The melodies he dreamed up and the emotions
108
00:05:43.680 --> 00:05:46.800
he poured into every note changed the course of music forever.
109
00:05:47.399 --> 00:05:48.680
Those are Houston's headlines.
110
00:05:50.079 --> 00:05:52.480
Take it alex Astros's got to win. Last night they
111
00:05:52.480 --> 00:05:55.040
built the White Sox ten to two. Christian Walker had
112
00:05:55.040 --> 00:05:56.600
four RBI in the game for Houston.
113
00:05:56.639 --> 00:05:58.560
They're gonna wrap up their series at the White Sox tonight.
114
00:05:58.560 --> 00:06:00.480
Framer Valdez, have been in the mount is going up
115
00:06:00.480 --> 00:06:02.120

will give you some information about Metallica in about three
134
00:06:53.319 --> 00:06:56.639
and a half minutes. Big announcement going on on this
135
00:06:56.800 --> 00:07:01.839
show tomorrow. Okay, so that's it. First phone call, come
136
00:07:01.879 --> 00:07:03.720
get it. The most interactive show on the radio, it's
137
00:07:03.720 --> 00:07:06.680
this one ninety four or five the Buzz, Good Morning
138
00:07:06.720 --> 00:07:11.519
Rod Ryan's show. That's either and we are officially underway
139
00:07:11.519 --> 00:07:15.879
four hours of pain for your throwback Thursday edition Busy
140
00:07:15.920 --> 00:07:18.519
Busy Show. Today, I kind of gave you the rundown.
141
00:07:19.600 --> 00:07:24.639
Highlights include pit passes in homeroom to pierce the veil tonight.
142
00:07:24.920 --> 00:07:28.120
That's my last pair. Okay, I only had four because
143
00:07:28.120 --> 00:07:30.439
the show is tonight. So that's it. On the fun
144
00:07:30.480 --> 00:07:33.319
Fact flashback, we send somebody into the pit and then
145
00:07:33.439 --> 00:07:35.800
they'll promise us they'll take a picture, they won't take
146
00:07:35.839 --> 00:07:38.680
a picture, and then I will be miserable on Friday
147
00:07:38.800 --> 00:07:41.480
because that person will have promised me a photograph in
148
00:07:41.519 --> 00:07:43.639
the pit and they probably won't send it to me.
149
00:07:43.839 --> 00:07:45.680
I don't think Homeroom would do that to me. If
150
00:07:45.680 --> 00:07:47.800
I'm gonna get one picture, it'll probably be the person
151
00:07:47.800 --> 00:07:50.959
that wins in homeroom. The other highlight today is the Metallica.
152
00:07:51.079 --> 00:07:53.759
The Metallica sold out show on Saturday night. Read my
153
00:07:53.839 --> 00:07:57.600
lips mow. Lots of pressure today, thanks Rod taking on Alex.
154
00:07:57.639 --> 00:08:00.879
Who you know who can be a treat sometimes when
155
00:08:00.879 --> 00:08:07.120
it comes to this, both of us IOUs. He is ridiculous.
156
00:08:07.920 --> 00:08:10.519
He is ridiculous. He was telling every running around t
157
00:08:10.639 --> 00:08:15.040
anybody Brian Williams died yesterday. I said, Brian Wilson. You said,
158
00:08:15.319 --> 00:08:17.959
Brian Wilson. You posted a picture of Brian Williams. That
159
00:08:18.079 --> 00:08:19.759
was Yeah, that was just an old picture.
160
00:08:20.079 --> 00:08:20.800
You are a turd.
161
00:08:22.040 --> 00:08:24.399
So we got other concert tickets today. On the show,
162
00:08:24.480 --> 00:08:26.000
I am going to be asking you to send me
163
00:08:26.040 --> 00:08:29.680
word suggestions all morning long for Moe and Alex to
164
00:08:29.680 --> 00:08:31.800
play at A twenty. You're going to be voting for
165
00:08:31.839 --> 00:08:37.159
Throwback Thursday on links and guests. My big announcement today
166
00:08:37.960 --> 00:08:41.360
is uh, I've got another pair of Metallica tickets for
167
00:08:41.399 --> 00:08:43.840
you tomorrow, and that will be in those first five
168
00:08:43.960 --> 00:08:48.679
rows off the floor. But I was able to scrape
169
00:08:48.759 --> 00:08:55.080
up four more pair of tickets to Metallica. I don't
170
00:08:55.120 --> 00:09:00.159
know where these seats are. Every beer winner tomorrow will
171
00:09:00.200 --> 00:09:05.240
win a pair of Metallica tickets. Say yeah, yeah, look
172
00:09:05.320 --> 00:09:10.279
so tomorrow, technically we're giving away five pair of Metallica tickets.
173
00:09:10.879 --> 00:09:14.480
So normally they won't allow me because I'm doing this
174
00:09:14.519 --> 00:09:18.960
promotion with the first five rows off the floor for
175
00:09:19.039 --> 00:09:21.159
the sold out show. And then this one comes like
176
00:09:21.200 --> 00:09:24.519
today's winner. Whoever you win those tickets for mo or Alex,
177
00:09:24.879 --> 00:09:27.120
you're gonna get the newly remastered Load album and you'll
178
00:09:27.159 --> 00:09:30.600
be qualified for the grand prize drawing. The beer winners
179
00:09:30.639 --> 00:09:33.519
aren't in on that, and they don't. They don't. I said,
180
00:09:33.679 --> 00:09:37.159
our listeners can handle the difference. Oh yes, yes, yes, well, Rod,
181
00:09:37.159 --> 00:09:40.159
you're already doing a promotion where it's just the first
182
00:09:40.200 --> 00:09:43.919
five rows off the floor these other tickets. The people
183
00:09:43.960 --> 00:09:46.240
are gonna be confused. I'm like, they don't care. They
184
00:09:46.279 --> 00:09:49.240
want to take in this show, so it'll just be
185
00:09:49.399 --> 00:09:52.399
random seats. They'll be together. But every beer winner is
186
00:09:52.440 --> 00:09:56.559
gonna get Metallica tickets tomorrow on those Yeah, so three
187
00:09:56.600 --> 00:09:59.639
weeks straight of giving away Metallica tickets and then all
188
00:09:59.679 --> 00:10:00.519
of a your winners.
189
00:10:00.639 --> 00:10:06.480
You gotta be kidding, it's not time for the first
190
00:10:06.480 --> 00:10:07.320
phone call of the day.
191
00:10:07.399 --> 00:10:08.759
And then don't forget we do have that pair of
192
00:10:08.799 --> 00:10:11.000
Metallica tickets at ditch Day. We're gonna be qualifying you
193
00:10:11.039 --> 00:10:13.879
to win the last, the absolute last pair of tickets
194
00:10:13.879 --> 00:10:17.000
to Metallica between noon and two tomorrow at ditch Day.
195
00:10:17.120 --> 00:10:19.399
Hey jaj, good morning. You got the first phone call today.
196
00:10:19.440 --> 00:10:21.480
How are you, brother, Ron?
197
00:10:21.559 --> 00:10:22.279
I'm great man.
198
00:10:22.320 --> 00:10:23.000
What's going on?
199
00:10:23.240 --> 00:10:25.679
Well, I'm more concerned with what part of town you're
200
00:10:25.759 --> 00:10:28.600
calling from and what it's looking like weatherwise.
201
00:10:29.879 --> 00:10:33.519
Well number one, I heard two heads from Metallica tickets.
202
00:10:33.519 --> 00:10:35.399
So if you can throw some of my way, that's great.
203
00:10:35.799 --> 00:10:39.200
I'm I'm actually uh, I'm actually five hours away and
204
00:10:39.240 --> 00:10:41.399
I'm making the drive down tomorrow for ditch Day.
205
00:10:41.480 --> 00:10:44.000
Oh you're coming in for ditch Day tomorrow. Did you
206
00:10:44.039 --> 00:10:45.919
bring the priest last year?
207
00:10:46.799 --> 00:10:49.879
Yes, sir, Father Clay and my wife Lauren Clay and
208
00:10:49.919 --> 00:10:51.679
I made the trip down from Brackettville.
209
00:10:51.759 --> 00:10:53.799
I remember on the border. I remember he brought the
210
00:10:53.919 --> 00:10:55.399
priest with the collar and everything.
211
00:10:55.440 --> 00:11:01.919
But to ditch Day, yes, fortunately, unfortunately slash fortunately uh.
212
00:11:02.000 --> 00:11:04.600
Father Clay is in Rome Middley right now. Oh, okay,
213
00:11:04.759 --> 00:11:06.519
he's not gonna he's not gonna get to make the
214
00:11:06.559 --> 00:11:09.159
trip this year, but but he sends his best wishes
215
00:11:09.159 --> 00:11:09.840
in his preyer.
216
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:13.360
Ely JJ is driving five hours to get the ditch day.
217
00:11:13.559 --> 00:11:15.720
Pretty awesome? All right? I know you sent me an email.
218
00:11:16.559 --> 00:11:19.159
Two T shirts? What size? I am not doing this
219
00:11:19.240 --> 00:11:23.039
for anyone else. You're driving five hours away. What are
220
00:11:23.080 --> 00:11:25.919
the two sizes of shirts? You need? A large and
221
00:11:26.080 --> 00:11:29.320
extra large? Please, sir, Arge and l I'll tell you what.
222
00:11:29.440 --> 00:11:32.519
Because you brought the priest, because you're driving five hours hour,
223
00:11:32.600 --> 00:11:34.639
I'm gonna put I'm gonna put two T shirts aside
224
00:11:34.679 --> 00:11:35.200
for you. JJ.
225
00:11:36.000 --> 00:11:36.679
Appreciate it.
226
00:11:36.679 --> 00:11:39.240
Man, Hey, before I let you go, before you let
227
00:11:39.279 --> 00:11:41.960
me go, guess my age based on my subred wrestler.
228
00:11:42.279 --> 00:11:47.799
Okay, favorite wrestler is who carry von Eric? Okay, you
229
00:11:47.919 --> 00:11:55.759
are you got? You're fifty two. I will be fifty
230
00:11:55.799 --> 00:11:59.840
two in August. That's amazing. Well, I am awesome at this.
231
00:12:00.360 --> 00:12:01.240
That was weird.
232
00:12:01.559 --> 00:12:02.559
Yes, I love it.
233
00:12:02.639 --> 00:12:05.960
I am freakishly good at guessing people's ages by who
234
00:12:06.000 --> 00:12:09.320
their favorite wrestler is. All right, JJ, I will see
235
00:12:09.360 --> 00:12:12.440
you out. I'm telling you that was not set up
236
00:12:12.799 --> 00:12:14.960
so weird. That was not a sating. No.
237
00:12:15.039 --> 00:12:16.320
I watched it all happen.
238
00:12:16.120 --> 00:12:19.879
All right, JJ, hang on for me, so I'm not
239
00:12:19.919 --> 00:12:22.039
doing that for anyone else. No, oh god, I can't
240
00:12:22.039 --> 00:12:24.240
believe I did that live on the radio. I'm saving
241
00:12:24.320 --> 00:12:25.399
him two T shirts and.
242
00:12:25.320 --> 00:12:28.039
The stats it five hours, first Come, first.
243
00:12:27.840 --> 00:12:30.279
Serve on the Ditch Day shirts. Thank you to BMP
244
00:12:30.480 --> 00:12:32.440

245
00:12:32.440 --> 00:12:33.879

246
00:12:33.919 --> 00:12:35.320
trending and then we'll get set up for the game.

00:12:35.840 --> 00:12:38.600

251
00:12:45.399 --> 00:12:47.679
Ryan Morning Show. I'm six to ten am.
252
00:12:48.080 --> 00:12:50.639
Welcome back everybody, rod Ryan Show.
253
00:12:50.759 --> 00:12:50.799
MO.
254
00:12:50.960 --> 00:12:53.279
You're gonna be even busy all week with rec checks.
255
00:12:54.320 --> 00:12:57.440
Today's going to be another messyp in messy day, one
256
00:12:57.480 --> 00:13:00.759
hundred percent chance of thunderstorms. Hies up on eighty three
257
00:13:01.440 --> 00:13:06.799
truck or Keith. He requested a pole question today and
258
00:13:07.080 --> 00:13:09.200
we love our truck drivers. He's like, could you ask
259
00:13:09.279 --> 00:13:11.840
listeners if they drive with their hazard lights on when
260
00:13:11.840 --> 00:13:14.679
it's hard, when it's raining hard, I say, don't do it.
261
00:13:14.679 --> 00:13:16.799
It makes a glare on the windshield, makes it harder
262
00:13:16.840 --> 00:13:19.120
for the people behind you to see. And the main
263
00:13:19.200 --> 00:13:21.879
reason is if you change lanes, we don't know if
264
00:13:21.879 --> 00:13:24.240
you want to go left or right because your hazards
265
00:13:24.240 --> 00:13:27.759
are on. He says, use them for emergencies only. I said,
266
00:13:27.799 --> 00:13:29.519
you know what, I will do that as a poll
267
00:13:29.600 --> 00:13:32.879
question today, Truck or Keith, So do you drive with
268
00:13:33.039 --> 00:13:38.240
hazard lights in the hard rain? Seventy nine percent of
269
00:13:38.240 --> 00:13:41.799
our audience says no, seven percent says yes, seven.
270
00:13:41.519 --> 00:13:43.159
Percent send me your email address, and I'd like to
271
00:13:43.200 --> 00:13:44.639
have a chat with Yeah.
272
00:13:44.720 --> 00:13:47.399
Fourteen percent of our audience says sometimes.
273
00:13:46.919 --> 00:13:50.320
Don't do it. So sometimes this is my biggest pet
274
00:13:50.360 --> 00:13:51.639
peeve in the entire world.
275
00:13:51.799 --> 00:13:54.159
Yeah, don't get me started. That's your grocery cart not
276
00:13:54.279 --> 00:13:55.600
getting returned for hours.
277
00:13:55.919 --> 00:14:01.120
Oh I could just kind of body well by like that.
278
00:14:01.240 --> 00:14:05.240
We found out Moe's little bugaboos this morning. All right,
279
00:14:05.240 --> 00:14:07.399
that's our poll question on the exit at Rob Ryan Show,
280
00:14:07.519 --> 00:14:08.960
alex Is gonna tell us what's trending.
281
00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:10.879
Well, the number one trending thing this morning is Brian
282
00:14:10.919 --> 00:14:12.120
Wilson Beach Boys.
283
00:14:12.120 --> 00:14:13.399
He passed away at eighty two.
284
00:14:13.480 --> 00:14:15.320
We aren't sure if he passed away yesterday or if
285
00:14:15.399 --> 00:14:18.840
we just got the news yesterday, but he has the
286
00:14:18.840 --> 00:14:24.840
outpouring of support for him and everything was amazing yesterday.
287
00:14:25.039 --> 00:14:28.320
Also trending is Air India. There was an Air India
288
00:14:28.440 --> 00:14:33.279
flight bound for London that crashed in Ahmedabad, India yesterday
289
00:14:33.679 --> 00:14:35.720
and I think they were turning seventy four people on
290
00:14:35.840 --> 00:14:39.360
board of that flight. But that's that's terrible too. And
291
00:14:39.399 --> 00:14:44.000
then this is this is all downers bring me. Amanda Lewis,
292
00:14:44.080 --> 00:14:46.600
the former Interview VGA talk show host, passed away.
293
00:14:46.399 --> 00:14:47.480
At the age of fifty two.
294
00:14:47.679 --> 00:14:51.480
Ananda, my bad. And then she had been battling breast
295
00:14:51.480 --> 00:14:52.919
cancer for a while.
296
00:14:53.000 --> 00:14:54.759
If we're not sure if that's why she passed who
297
00:14:54.759 --> 00:14:55.039
that was it?
298
00:14:55.080 --> 00:14:57.440
But she had not fairly recently she had said she'd
299
00:14:57.440 --> 00:14:58.360
been battling breast cants.
300
00:14:58.360 --> 00:14:59.960
I asked him all this morning and you, I said,
301
00:15:00.039 --> 00:15:02.720
you guys remember her MTV News and you know, like
302
00:15:02.759 --> 00:15:05.480
everybody knows Kurt Loader. And then I think most people
303
00:15:05.519 --> 00:15:09.120
know Tabitha Sorens. I think when I saw a picture
304
00:15:09.120 --> 00:15:11.799
of her, Okay, yeah, she was a part of MTV
305
00:15:11.960 --> 00:15:14.279
for a long long time, so she was young in
306
00:15:14.320 --> 00:15:20.879
her early fifty two. Okay, we got a new champion
307
00:15:20.960 --> 00:15:22.360
right from yesterday.
308
00:15:22.080 --> 00:15:25.320
Good morning everybody, that's a former Fresh Fist brand.
309
00:15:26.399 --> 00:15:27.960
Now you're fresh out of bed.
310
00:15:28.480 --> 00:15:30.600
One.
311
00:15:32.159 --> 00:15:38.200
Now you're fresh out of bed one dogged Now you're
312
00:15:38.240 --> 00:15:42.519
fresh out of bed bed ahead one day, champion.
313
00:15:42.120 --> 00:15:43.679
Baby, join me on.
314
00:15:43.639 --> 00:15:47.240
Thursday when I make you win number two bitches.
315
00:15:47.399 --> 00:15:48.279
Yeah, dog it.
316
00:15:50.039 --> 00:15:51.919
Right. If you want to take him on, he's already
317
00:15:51.960 --> 00:15:54.279
on the phone. He's ready to go this morning. Uh
318
00:15:54.360 --> 00:15:57.200
if you want to play against him. Great concert ticket
319
00:15:57.960 --> 00:15:59.879
for the winner seven one, three, two.
320
00:16:00.240 --> 00:16:04.600
Five celebrating the world's fast dabs.
321
00:16:04.440 --> 00:16:06.639
Our screamcabs Yay, not before dinner.
322
00:16:06.799 --> 00:16:09.679

All right, here we go, We'm without the bush in homeroom.
326
00:16:25.639 --> 00:16:26.519

Good morning, rod Ryan Show. Cover it up, let's get wet.

00:17:02.639 --> 00:17:08.880
Guys, you made me work on that victory speech. Dude, listen,
340
00:17:10.440 --> 00:17:12.920
I tell everybody the same thing. I don't give a
341
00:17:13.000 --> 00:17:15.599
flip what you do during that victory speech. Obviously you
342
00:17:15.680 --> 00:17:17.920
can't swear. I had to beat you out. Even though
343
00:17:17.960 --> 00:17:21.240
you said shoot, you said shoot. These guys didn't believe me.
344
00:17:21.279 --> 00:17:24.880
They said you better believe that. Roddam Okay. I don't
345
00:17:24.920 --> 00:17:27.200
care what you do in the victory speech. Just win
346
00:17:27.279 --> 00:17:30.359
the games. I'll put your speeches together. Don't worry about
347
00:17:30.359 --> 00:17:31.720
any of that. Get that out of your head. Just
348
00:17:31.759 --> 00:17:34.519
win the games. Two questions, two answers. Okay, bro, that's
349
00:17:34.559 --> 00:17:39.759
what you need. I got another yesterday I think was
350
00:17:39.799 --> 00:17:46.119
too fresh fish Hey, Johnny, Yeah, are you fresh? I'm
351
00:17:46.200 --> 00:17:50.920
freshy Frey. Oh, we got another fresh fish on. I
352
00:17:51.039 --> 00:17:57.440
love it. I love getting some brand new players. Wake up, fishies.
353
00:17:57.799 --> 00:18:00.759
Apparently all the fishies are up. Johnny. Couldn't have you
354
00:18:00.839 --> 00:18:04.799
on today? Where are you from? And you've never played?
355
00:18:06.000 --> 00:18:06.359
I have not?
356
00:18:06.960 --> 00:18:08.720
Have you called and tried before? Or was this the
357
00:18:08.759 --> 00:18:10.039
first time you decided to try?
358
00:18:11.079 --> 00:18:13.680
Of course, Jilly answers are just not the collar.
359
00:18:14.000 --> 00:18:17.000
Okay, you've been trying for a while. Today's your lucky day. Well,
360
00:18:17.400 --> 00:18:21.279
there was two fresh fish on yesterday. Brandon was the winner. Johnny.
361
00:18:21.640 --> 00:18:24.039
You can do the same thing today. Shout out your name.
362
00:18:24.279 --> 00:18:30.400
When you think you know the answer, drop right. Oh, okay,
363
00:18:31.160 --> 00:18:33.720
it's fine to you. We'll get game one. Okay, Johnny,
364
00:18:33.759 --> 00:18:40.319
looks like you got this one here, Johnny, all right, bro,
365
00:18:40.480 --> 00:18:44.000
it's a scary movie. It's a scary movie. What's scary movie?
366
00:18:44.000 --> 00:18:46.880
I don't know the shining I'm writing that time.
367
00:18:47.119 --> 00:18:49.079
All right, Johnny, you got to drop. Now you have
368
00:18:49.160 --> 00:18:54.720
to win. Let's go all right, winner gets this today?
369
00:18:54.799 --> 00:18:56.640
Who we have a pair of tickets to the Summer
370
00:18:56.640 --> 00:18:57.200
of Loud Tour.
371
00:18:57.319 --> 00:18:57.519
Y'all.
372
00:18:57.599 --> 00:19:00.960
I prevailed Bear Tooth kill Switch in game. It's gonna
373
00:19:00.960 --> 00:19:02.319
be awesome the Woodlands.
374
00:19:02.160 --> 00:19:07.559
Nagin All right, here's Johnny and Brandon. Brandon don't want
375
00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:15.960
pump trumpet man? Question number one? What guitarist notably performed
376
00:19:16.359 --> 00:19:24.640
on the Michael Jackson song Beat It Right? Brandon? Three?
377
00:19:25.359 --> 00:19:29.799
Two one? Did you say Axel?
378
00:19:32.279 --> 00:19:32.480
Yeah?
379
00:19:32.720 --> 00:19:37.200
Axel doesn't play guitar, Johnny. Here's Johnny. What what guitarist
380
00:19:37.759 --> 00:19:43.440
notably performed on the Michael Jackson song beat It. I
381
00:19:43.559 --> 00:19:49.680
don't know, but I'm gonna get slash slash better than
382
00:19:49.720 --> 00:19:53.559
Brandon's answer, but still not correct. That would be Eddie
383
00:19:53.720 --> 00:19:59.559
Van Halen. Mom, that's a real question. I didn't say
384
00:19:59.559 --> 00:19:59.920
it was good.
385
00:20:00.440 --> 00:20:01.599
I felt really good about it.
386
00:20:01.680 --> 00:20:07.400
I thought that was a real question. Okay, I think
387
00:20:07.480 --> 00:20:11.359
you have to be what do you think Alex forty
388
00:20:12.200 --> 00:20:15.039
two and older to know that you don't have to be,
389
00:20:15.160 --> 00:20:18.839
but it helps to be over forty to know that answer.
390
00:20:19.599 --> 00:20:21.400
Brandon and Johnny, if you have a forty shame on
391
00:20:21.519 --> 00:20:30.559
you question. Here we go. What city is the Statue
392
00:20:30.640 --> 00:20:33.960
of Liberty located in? Brandon?
393
00:20:35.640 --> 00:20:36.079
New York?
394
00:20:36.480 --> 00:20:39.200
Yeah, New York City. And don't come at me with
395
00:20:39.279 --> 00:20:41.599
Liberty Island. It's it's considered part of New York City,
396
00:20:42.160 --> 00:20:43.920
all right. That's it got to be over five to
397
00:20:44.079 --> 00:20:48.440
know that answer. Okay, we're gonna put an agent every
398
00:20:48.519 --> 00:20:51.799
question here. Brandon's on the board. Guys, if you're keeping track,
399
00:20:53.279 --> 00:20:56.759
Big B doesn't want to be a one pump chump. Johnny,
400
00:20:56.759 --> 00:20:59.880
you gotta Johnny, you gotta drop and a fresh fish
401
00:21:00.039 --> 00:21:07.240
drop today. Come on for well, not for the wind,
402
00:21:07.359 --> 00:21:11.079
but see who gets it. While not an industry standard,
403
00:21:12.279 --> 00:21:14.680
what type of fuel is most commonly pumped with a
404
00:21:14.799 --> 00:21:32.200
green handle? Gone, Brandon, Diesel? Johnny, it must be my survey. Okay, yeah, yeah,
405
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:35.799
it wasn't you. It was the fallen it was it
406
00:21:35.920 --> 00:21:38.920
was the rain. Somebody's got their hazards on in front
407
00:21:38.960 --> 00:21:43.720
of you. There's a long list of reasons that you lost.
408
00:21:43.839 --> 00:21:52.279
None of them are your faults, right, Johnny, great playing today, dude.
409
00:21:52.319 --> 00:21:53.799
I hope you play again soon. All Right.
410
00:21:54.839 --> 00:21:55.960
I appreciate it, guy, all right.
411
00:21:55.880 --> 00:22:01.079
I appreciate you. All Right, Brandon, listen, You're gonna have
412
00:22:01.200 --> 00:22:03.039
somebody a lot better than Johnny coming at you in
413
00:22:03.079 --> 00:22:05.880
the next couple of days, so I know it. I
414
00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:09.839
know it's all right, dude. You scored some awesome tickets
415
00:22:09.880 --> 00:22:12.279
though Summer of Love Tour. Those are yours. The T
416
00:22:12.440 --> 00:22:15.200
shirt we gave you yesterday. Just keep adding the prizes, Okay, bro,
417
00:22:15.400 --> 00:22:19.079
keep the wins coming. Good, good game today. Hang your dad.
418
00:22:19.759 --> 00:22:22.039
May he always be there to put down your music.
419
00:22:22.839 --> 00:22:23.680
You call that music.
420
00:22:23.960 --> 00:22:24.920
Happy Father's Day.
421
00:22:26.680 --> 00:22:35.039
Ron Ryan Show, n They're Blush ninety four five The Buzz,
422
00:22:35.160 --> 00:22:38.599
Good Morning, Rod Ryan's Show. On this throwback Thursday, we'll
423
00:22:38.599 --> 00:22:41.079
try to get song clips on for you early in
424
00:22:41.160 --> 00:22:43.880
the seven o'clock hour, because then we get just too
425
00:22:43.960 --> 00:22:46.039
busy and I've got to collect all the words and
426
00:22:46.079 --> 00:22:47.599
we got to get set up or read my lips
427
00:22:47.640 --> 00:22:49.720
and all that fun stuff. So there's a lot of
428
00:22:49.759 --> 00:22:51.680
things to look forward to today on the show read
429
00:22:51.720 --> 00:22:55.440
my lips of course, the winner Moe or Alex. They're
430
00:22:55.480 --> 00:22:59.519
playing to win you sold out Metallica tickets if you
431
00:22:59.559 --> 00:23:01.839
missed the bounce at the beginning of the show. I've
432
00:23:01.880 --> 00:23:04.240
got one more pair of those Metallica tickets because tomorrow
433
00:23:04.400 --> 00:23:07.880
is Friday, and that's in the first five rows. But
434
00:23:09.000 --> 00:23:12.920
I have added another pair of tickets to sold out
435
00:23:13.000 --> 00:23:18.240

436
00:23:18.519 --> 00:23:20.599
just trying to give you reasons to get up early
437
00:23:20.759 --> 00:23:23.640
and join us in the morning. With this skanky weather,
438
00:23:25.079 --> 00:23:27.559
it helps, I hope, because today one hundred percent chance
439
00:23:27.599 --> 00:23:29.359
of thunderstorms highs up around eighty three.
440
00:23:29.880 --> 00:23:33.000
The fresh out of bed head to head challenge. Here's
441
00:23:33.079 --> 00:23:34.279
your current champion.
442
00:23:34.559 --> 00:23:38.359
What a difference a day makes. This guy is a stud.
443
00:23:38.759 --> 00:23:39.839
Good morning, everybody.
444
00:23:39.920 --> 00:23:43.920
This is Brandon, So sorry to disappoint you, and I'm

446
00:23:46.599 --> 00:23:49.839
pump chump. I am your fresh daut of bed head
447
00:23:49.880 --> 00:23:53.839

448
00:23:54.000 --> 00:23:57.359
Friday when I nail another victory speach.
449
00:23:57.720 --> 00:24:00.519
And make it win number three. Bitches, that's not even
450
00:24:00.559 --> 00:24:04.160
the same guy. So sweet that victory speech, step on it.
451
00:24:04.559 --> 00:24:09.319
So much work yesterday and then just sticks the landing.
452
00:24:09.519 --> 00:24:13.079
It's the fuck that's of the day. We make you
453
00:24:13.160 --> 00:24:16.519
look smart in your body. It's the fuck thats to
454
00:24:16.640 --> 00:24:17.039
the day.
455
00:24:21.640 --> 00:24:23.240
Oh my god, this is for the pit passes.
456
00:24:23.359 --> 00:24:24.039
Yeah, for tonight.
457
00:24:24.319 --> 00:24:26.440
Okay, okay, okay, let me give you some new fun
458
00:24:26.559 --> 00:24:29.319
facts and then we'll flash back and we'll get you
459
00:24:29.440 --> 00:24:31.799
in the pit for tonight's show out there at the
460
00:24:31.799 --> 00:24:35.359
Woodlands Pavilion. So busy, hell like you. I feel like you.
461
00:24:35.519 --> 00:24:37.480
I feel like I'm busy like you. My friend Hal's
462
00:24:37.519 --> 00:24:38.319
the busiest guy I know.
463
00:24:38.759 --> 00:24:39.119
My health.
464
00:24:39.440 --> 00:24:42.119
Yeah, good morning. Does it keep you young? Not really?
465
00:24:42.200 --> 00:24:42.519
I mean.
466
00:24:44.160 --> 00:24:46.680
So twenty five grandchildren keeping you young over there running
467
00:24:46.680 --> 00:24:49.680
around on the floor doing puzzles with them. Here's some
468
00:24:49.799 --> 00:24:52.960
fun facts for you guys this morning. There's more hydrogen
469
00:24:53.079 --> 00:24:55.160
because you just had a great diesel question. I know
470
00:24:55.279 --> 00:24:56.400
that was a good question, Thank you.
471
00:24:57.079 --> 00:24:57.559
I liked it.
472
00:24:57.759 --> 00:25:01.039
I of course I knew and loved the Michael Jackson question,
473
00:25:01.160 --> 00:25:03.599
but it was like a real game show question. All right,
474
00:25:03.599 --> 00:25:06.920
here we go. There's more hydrogen in a gallon of
475
00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:11.359
gasoline than there is in a gallon of liquid hydrogen.
476
00:25:15.319 --> 00:25:20.759
I don't know, have you had enough Michael Jackson this morning? Hell?
477
00:25:20.880 --> 00:25:21.480
Or do you have it?
478
00:25:21.640 --> 00:25:23.400
Just you got room for a little bit more more
479
00:25:23.519 --> 00:25:27.039
Michael Jackson. I hope that girl's not listening. That gongs
480
00:25:27.079 --> 00:25:29.400
me every time I sing. I might have to sing
481
00:25:29.480 --> 00:25:33.359
this one for you. So the Michael Jackson song Thriller,
482
00:25:34.720 --> 00:25:39.160
the working title for a long time was called Starlight,
483
00:25:40.000 --> 00:25:46.920
and the hook went, give me some Starlight, Starlight Sun.
484
00:25:49.319 --> 00:25:55.680
Sorry, that is fun, so mad for multiple reasons. So mad.
485
00:25:55.720 --> 00:26:02.839
I'll be right back, you know, I knowezing.
486
00:26:04.200 --> 00:26:09.480
Finally, much like myself, Jackie Chan is a classically trained
487
00:26:09.880 --> 00:26:14.720
opera singer yep, and he can back it up. He's
488
00:26:14.759 --> 00:26:17.000
got more than twenty albums out there to prove it.
489
00:26:17.319 --> 00:26:19.759
Jackie Chan has twenty albums out there.
490
00:26:20.160 --> 00:26:24.319
What it's the fuck back to the day. We make
491
00:26:24.400 --> 00:26:28.400
you look smart, buddies, It's the fu to the day.
492
00:26:28.920 --> 00:26:32.880
I only have nineteen albums out there, but I'm Jackie's.
493
00:26:32.480 --> 00:26:34.359
A little older, right right, You've still got time.
494
00:26:34.400 --> 00:26:35.519
Tell me about this amazing price.
495
00:26:35.759 --> 00:26:38.599
There's a shret to night in the Woodlands, pierce the Veils.
496
00:26:38.799 --> 00:26:42.480
I can't hear you tour tickets on sale ticketmaster dot com,
497
00:26:42.559 --> 00:26:44.039
but we have a pair of pit passes.
498
00:26:44.240 --> 00:26:48.039
Okay, so let's take a picture of yourself in the
499
00:26:48.119 --> 00:26:51.440
pit too, please, and you'll promise. I know you'll promise, Yes,
500
00:26:51.480 --> 00:26:53.519
you'll do it, but we'll see it's your fun.
501
00:26:54.880 --> 00:26:55.119
Okay.
502
00:26:55.200 --> 00:27:03.279
From yesterday? What kind of fish can change from male
503
00:27:03.400 --> 00:27:08.599
to female if they need to for reproduction? I'll leave
504
00:27:08.640 --> 00:27:15.640
it at that. Most sent me a text yesterday your
505
00:27:15.720 --> 00:27:17.160
kids are watching something on TV.
506
00:27:17.400 --> 00:27:19.359
Yes, you're going to torment me because I didn't know
507
00:27:19.480 --> 00:27:21.319
this question? Okay, and apparently they did.
508
00:27:21.599 --> 00:27:24.119

547
00:29:02.440 --> 00:29:04.519
you're right, all right, you thought I went a little
548
00:29:04.559 --> 00:29:12.160
too far with the facts. Gee, al right, well let's go, Brianna,
549
00:29:12.279 --> 00:29:16.720
good morning, good morning, good morning. Hello, Hi, Hi, welcome
550
00:29:16.759 --> 00:29:19.480
to the Fun Fact Flashbacks. Listen, this is a huge ticket,
551
00:29:20.039 --> 00:29:25.640
so get it right. What is the fish that can
552
00:29:25.759 --> 00:29:28.319
change from male to female if they need to for
553
00:29:28.480 --> 00:29:35.839
reproduction purposes, that'd be clownfish? Okay, so you're right, you're right, Brianna.
554
00:29:35.880 --> 00:29:37.039
Please please look her up.
555
00:29:37.839 --> 00:29:40.680
Brianna, you're going to pierce the veil tonight, and you're
556
00:29:40.720 --> 00:29:42.279
not just going to that show in the Woodlands. You're
557
00:29:42.279 --> 00:29:43.920
gonna be in the pitch, which means we need you
558
00:29:43.960 --> 00:29:45.960
to send us picture sister. We're so excited for you.
559
00:29:46.440 --> 00:29:49.039
If you aren't as lucky as Brianna, we still have

00:29:49.119 --> 00:29:50.319
tickets ticketmaster dot com.
561
00:29:50.680 --> 00:29:58.079
Congrats, Thank you. So stop the clown fish like the
562
00:29:58.160 --> 00:30:02.839
ones in Finding Nemo. If you use that movie specifically
563
00:30:03.000 --> 00:30:05.480
for what we are talking about here, it's an amazing thing.
564
00:30:05.559 --> 00:30:09.559
It's it's God created the fish and they wonder they
565
00:30:09.599 --> 00:30:12.759
were able to switch from male to female. So in
566
00:30:12.839 --> 00:30:15.720
the movie, once Nemo's mother was killed, the father would
567
00:30:15.759 --> 00:30:18.359
have grown female sex organs and could have started reproducing
568
00:30:18.440 --> 00:30:18.920
with Nemo.
569
00:30:19.079 --> 00:30:20.799
I don't know why we didn't cover that the movie.
570
00:30:25.519 --> 00:30:26.680
I'm sorry. You had to be a part of that,
571
00:30:26.920 --> 00:30:30.279
all right, got a pretty mouth, all right, Brianna, have
572
00:30:30.319 --> 00:30:31.599
a great time at that show. She's right.
573
00:30:31.640 --> 00:30:33.680
You have to take a picture, yes, and them, please
574
00:30:33.880 --> 00:30:35.000
have so much fun.
575
00:30:35.240 --> 00:30:42.079
Take a picture, all right. Bad weather today again, broken
576
00:30:42.119 --> 00:30:44.279
record time. We've been talking about it a whole week
577
00:30:45.480 --> 00:30:49.599
that there's thunderstorms and the traffic is terrible. Leave five
578
00:30:49.680 --> 00:30:51.799
minutes early for work, you know, all that fun stuff
579
00:30:52.319 --> 00:30:55.559
that nobody nobody's done it once this week, so no
580
00:30:55.640 --> 00:30:58.079
one's going to do it today. Well, here you go.
581
00:30:58.160 --> 00:30:59.119
It's Houston's headlines.
582
00:30:59.440 --> 00:31:01.000
Thank you rough commute this morning.
583
00:31:01.079 --> 00:31:04.559
Yes, those severe thunderstorms, gusty winds, isolated tornadoes and hail
584
00:31:05.000 --> 00:31:07.519
hit us really early this morning. And these storms are
585
00:31:07.680 --> 00:31:10.599
still moving very slowly, and Houston hates to hear that
586
00:31:10.720 --> 00:31:13.799
because slow moving it means flooding across the area. A
587
00:31:13.880 --> 00:31:17.039
floodwatch has been issued across the area until seven pm,
588
00:31:17.119 --> 00:31:20.079
but that flash flood warning has expanded, So if you're
589
00:31:20.079 --> 00:31:22.759
like Baytown Deer Park area, it's parts of Harris Chambers,
590
00:31:22.839 --> 00:31:23.519
Liberty Counties.
591
00:31:24.480 --> 00:31:25.880
That's happening right now.
592
00:31:26.039 --> 00:31:28.599
So looking ahead, lingering showers through the afternoon, but it
593
00:31:28.640 --> 00:31:30.519
looks like around four pm we should dry out.
594
00:31:30.960 --> 00:31:35.880
Let's get through this morning. Commute, y'all, Rod, y'all, y'all.
595
00:31:37.160 --> 00:31:40.880
Did you see the bromances back on kind of you
596
00:31:41.039 --> 00:31:43.240
called this tell I'll tell you when you're.
597
00:31:43.200 --> 00:31:44.720
Right, so difficult to be right.
598
00:31:44.920 --> 00:31:46.799
I have no shame to tell you when you're right.
599
00:31:46.839 --> 00:31:47.839
It didn't even last a week.
600
00:31:48.119 --> 00:31:50.920
Elon Musk said some of his tweets about President Trump
601
00:31:50.960 --> 00:31:53.680
went too far, and Trump is now no longer threatening
602
00:31:53.720 --> 00:31:58.200
to cancel Elon Musk's government contracts. Yesterday, Elon tweeted, quote,
603
00:31:58.240 --> 00:32:00.440
I regret some of the posts about present it Trump
604
00:32:00.519 --> 00:32:01.559
last week, they went too far.
605
00:32:02.079 --> 00:32:04.240
According to The New York Times, the guys talked on
606
00:32:04.319 --> 00:32:07.359
the phone Monday night and hashed some things out.
607
00:32:08.720 --> 00:32:10.519
I just had a feeling they were going to get
608
00:32:10.559 --> 00:32:16.200
back together. They're just they're two I don't know. I
609
00:32:16.279 --> 00:32:18.200
don't know. I mean, they have to realize that they're
610
00:32:18.200 --> 00:32:20.920
better together than a part I mean, that's just such
611
00:32:20.960 --> 00:32:23.480
a distraction. They have those two guys fighting against one another.
612
00:32:23.640 --> 00:32:26.720
Sounds like a horrible relationship. Can anyone get me a
613
00:32:26.839 --> 00:32:27.599
Nintendo switch To?
614
00:32:28.200 --> 00:32:29.400
Are They sold out everywhere?
615
00:32:29.599 --> 00:32:30.319
Lots of places.
616
00:32:30.559 --> 00:32:30.759
Yeah.
617
00:32:31.160 --> 00:32:33.079
Four hundred and fifty dollars is how much those bad
618
00:32:33.119 --> 00:32:36.400
boys retail for. It's Nintendo's newest video game console, and
619
00:32:36.440 --> 00:32:39.400
it's breaking all the sales records. The switch To was
620
00:32:39.480 --> 00:32:41.440
released last week, and it managed to rack up more
621
00:32:41.480 --> 00:32:46.000
than three point five million units sold in four days.
622
00:32:46.240 --> 00:32:46.920
That's insane.
623
00:32:47.039 --> 00:32:49.039
They can get the fastest selling console in the history
624
00:32:49.079 --> 00:32:52.400
of the company, and the fastest selling game console.
625
00:32:52.119 --> 00:32:53.079
Of all times.
626
00:32:53.119 --> 00:32:55.960
That's millennials with money. That's not that's not kids. Parents
627
00:32:56.000 --> 00:32:58.920
buying them for their children might be, though, but I
628
00:32:59.000 --> 00:33:01.119
don't think, really, I don't think it's most of the
629
00:33:01.160 --> 00:33:04.319
sales millennials. No, no, no, But I think it's people
630
00:33:04.400 --> 00:33:06.559
that now have money that bought the game for themselves,
631
00:33:06.599 --> 00:33:08.759
that are adults that played it as a child. I
632
00:33:08.839 --> 00:33:10.440
don't think they're buying that. I don't think people are
633
00:33:10.440 --> 00:33:11.880
buying a four hundred and fifty dollars.
634
00:33:11.799 --> 00:33:14.799
Unit for their kids, or you're buying it for yourself,
635
00:33:14.880 --> 00:33:16.480
but you're blaming it on your child so that your
636
00:33:16.480 --> 00:33:17.319
wife doesn't murder you.
637
00:33:17.759 --> 00:33:21.799
Yeah, that that too, alex me.
638
00:33:22.160 --> 00:33:25.640
More details were renounced yesterday regarding the animated Stranger.
639
00:33:25.359 --> 00:33:27.400
Things spin off that's in the works from Netflix.
640
00:33:27.640 --> 00:33:29.279
We know there was an animate I know that there's
641
00:33:29.279 --> 00:33:31.880
another thing that talked about it. There's another season coming up.
642
00:33:32.079 --> 00:33:34.799
Yes that's Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve.
643
00:33:34.920 --> 00:33:35.880
Oh Christmas?
644
00:33:36.000 --> 00:33:39.759
Yes, yes, yes, this is an animated Stranger Things. It's
645
00:33:39.799 --> 00:33:42.759
called Tales from eighty five. It's supposed to air sometime
646
00:33:43.079 --> 00:33:45.799
next year. It takes place in the winter between seasons
647
00:33:45.839 --> 00:33:48.880
two and three of the original series, so fans are
648
00:33:49.200 --> 00:33:51.599
excited about the original characters plus a new one.
649
00:33:53.920 --> 00:33:55.240
I don't know animated.
650
00:33:55.680 --> 00:33:58.039
Are they getting the voices and are they getting the
651
00:33:58.079 --> 00:34:01.640
people to do you guys? Remember it's probably too old.
652
00:34:01.960 --> 00:34:06.039
There was a Ghostbusters cartoon. It wasn't bad. It was
653
00:34:06.079 --> 00:34:07.359
a Saturday Morning cartoon.
654
00:34:07.519 --> 00:34:08.559
Did they have the same voices?
655
00:34:08.800 --> 00:34:12.559
No, murray, They're not voicing the cartoon, so they had
656
00:34:12.559 --> 00:34:15.480
all different voices. It actually wasn't bad, though, I remember
657
00:34:15.480 --> 00:34:16.880
the cartoon kind of being entertaining.
658
00:34:17.079 --> 00:34:17.440
We'll see.
659
00:34:17.519 --> 00:34:18.679
I don't know how this is gonna do.
660
00:34:19.280 --> 00:34:20.519
Let's talk about popa roach.
661
00:34:21.400 --> 00:34:24.639
Jacoby shaddocks, Yeah, he's spilling the tea. He says the
662
00:34:24.719 --> 00:34:26.880
band has quote about five or six finished songs for
663
00:34:26.960 --> 00:34:29.400
the follow up to twenty twenty two's Ego Trip album,
664
00:34:29.480 --> 00:34:31.239
and they're racing to complete more.
665
00:34:31.920 --> 00:34:34.280
No release date, but he.
666
00:34:34.320 --> 00:34:37.360
Said fans can expect fresh tracks all year, plus surprise
667
00:34:37.480 --> 00:34:41.360
guest spots that he's teasing but won't name yet. Got
668
00:34:41.400 --> 00:34:43.920
the rumor swirling those are Houston's headlines.
669
00:34:47.039 --> 00:34:48.440
Well that music is good news.
670
00:34:48.599 --> 00:34:51.119
Yeahs he as Funes got away. In last Night, they
671
00:34:51.159 --> 00:34:53.360
blew out the White Sox ten to two. Christian Walker
672
00:34:53.360 --> 00:34:55.480
had four RBI in that game. They're gonna wrap up
673
00:34:55.480 --> 00:34:57.639
your series with the White Sox tonight from Rival doesn't
674
00:34:57.639 --> 00:34:59.039

that they have been in this Stanley Cup matchup. They can't.

It's got three hundred and one total tracks, two hundred
716
00:37:02.199 --> 00:37:05.480
and forty five of which are unreleased. So that's today
717
00:37:05.519 --> 00:37:09.320
and tomorrow first five rows. But I scraped up another
718
00:37:09.400 --> 00:37:12.440
four pair of tickets to go out with every single
719
00:37:12.559 --> 00:37:15.400
case of beer tomorrow, so that's something to look forward to.
720
00:37:16.119 --> 00:37:20.320
Can't wait. It's our Taylor Swift. What do you want
721
00:37:20.320 --> 00:37:21.239
me to say? It's our Beance?
722
00:37:21.639 --> 00:37:22.119
You know what I mean?
723
00:37:22.280 --> 00:37:23.840
What other bands do we have that are playing a
724
00:37:23.880 --> 00:37:27.840
stadium with Pantera and suicidal Tendencies? I can't wait now,
725
00:37:27.880 --> 00:37:30.559
don't forget some girl called me or emailed me in
726
00:37:30.599 --> 00:37:34.960
a panic? What's this about Ditch Day from twelve to two?
727
00:37:35.559 --> 00:37:36.679
Yes, it's always.
728
00:37:36.440 --> 00:37:40.760
Going longer, Rod. The twelve to two is kind of
729
00:37:42.880 --> 00:37:46.599
the official time of the party. And why would you
730
00:37:46.679 --> 00:37:48.920
need an official time? Well, Facebook wants to have a
731
00:37:49.000 --> 00:37:53.800
time when you create an event, and that is the
732
00:37:53.880 --> 00:37:57.280
official time for the Metallica tickets. When you sign up
733
00:37:57.320 --> 00:38:02.039
for Metallica tickets at Ditch Day, we told you that
734
00:38:02.159 --> 00:38:06.320
we will start the registration box at noon and the
735
00:38:06.440 --> 00:38:10.239
drawing will be at two. Gunner's not kicking anybody out
736
00:38:10.280 --> 00:38:13.679
of Cactus Cove at two o'clock tomorrow, Okay.
737
00:38:13.880 --> 00:38:14.719
Not at the time.
738
00:38:16.480 --> 00:38:19.360
Did day starts at noon and kind of never ends
739
00:38:19.639 --> 00:38:24.400
over there. That's what is happening at Cactus Cove. You're
740
00:38:24.400 --> 00:38:26.920
all invited to join us tomorrow for Ditch Day. I'm
741
00:38:26.920 --> 00:38:30.599
super excited about it. Keep sending me your word suggestions
742
00:38:31.400 --> 00:38:35.320
for read my lips. But it's also throwback Thursday, and
743
00:38:35.400 --> 00:38:38.920
we got this one hit wonder back. The band is
744
00:38:39.000 --> 00:38:43.960
called the Eels. Life is hard and so am I.
745
00:38:46.000 --> 00:38:47.519
You better give me some.
746
00:38:49.199 --> 00:38:50.079
I don't try.
747
00:38:53.679 --> 00:38:56.679
Big change up right there. That's the name of the song,
748
00:38:56.760 --> 00:39:05.760
Novah Kane for the Soul. Before before this was a
749
00:39:05.800 --> 00:39:10.280
one hit wonder. I don't know if it had the
750
00:39:10.440 --> 00:39:13.360
help of being in any of the marquee movies of
751
00:39:13.400 --> 00:39:17.079
the day because it's such a weird song, but it
752
00:39:17.199 --> 00:39:19.840
was a big hit for them Eels Nova Kane for
753
00:39:19.920 --> 00:39:26.559
the Soul. Nobody wants to hear it. Well, no, that's
754
00:39:26.599 --> 00:39:30.199
not true. It's in second place. Okay, it's in second.
755
00:39:30.000 --> 00:39:32.199
Place, right, someone wants to hear it.
756
00:39:32.960 --> 00:39:41.239
I won't have it. This got my vote today. Not
757
00:39:42.519 --> 00:39:45.079
one hit wonder here in the States, damn it probably
758
00:39:45.639 --> 00:39:53.159
damn it huge in England. Oasis looked up to these guys.
759
00:39:55.360 --> 00:39:57.840
Blur looked up to these guys. The name of the
760
00:39:57.880 --> 00:40:04.679
band Stone Roses, and the song is called Love Spreads.
761
00:40:05.000 --> 00:40:07.840
Please say Redavan Fleet sounds like them, and I'll accept it.
762
00:40:09.800 --> 00:40:13.360
I will not accept that, Alex. You know that's unacceptable.
763
00:40:13.719 --> 00:40:22.599
That's an unacceptable comment. This has such a trippy, druggy,
764
00:40:23.840 --> 00:40:28.880
humpin' vibe and the guitar player solos the entire record.
765
00:40:30.039 --> 00:40:31.280
But I want you to at least hear the guys
766
00:40:31.320 --> 00:40:33.360
sing just a little bit. Here we go, Stone Roses,
767
00:40:33.400 --> 00:41:05.079
Love Spreads. This is in last place. I don't know
768
00:41:05.159 --> 00:41:07.199
what the drug of choice was in nineteen ninety four,
769
00:41:07.880 --> 00:41:16.159
but they were doing it. They would that. All right,
770
00:41:16.320 --> 00:41:18.119
this is in last place, and it's a shame that
771
00:41:18.199 --> 00:41:20.519
it's in last place. It's the best song out there today,
772
00:41:21.519 --> 00:41:27.280
the one that everybody knows. His black Cherries lit Up.
773
00:41:31.320 --> 00:41:33.880
It's got seventy three percent of your vote right now.
774
00:41:34.360 --> 00:41:51.920
I'm throwback Thursday. Come on, guys. Obviously the drug of
775
00:41:52.039 --> 00:42:01.119
choice was just mentioned here on this one. Mom, say, man,
776
00:42:04.400 --> 00:42:04.880
it's good.
777
00:42:06.639 --> 00:42:07.239
It's grace.
778
00:42:08.400 --> 00:42:08.599
Man.
779
00:42:10.400 --> 00:42:16.880
Would you vote for Alex this girls? It's good? Yeah,
780
00:42:17.079 --> 00:42:19.559
it's great. It's the biggest song of the three, it's
781
00:42:19.599 --> 00:42:21.559
the most popular one of the three. It's the most
782
00:42:21.599 --> 00:42:24.719
well known of the three. I don't know if I
783
00:42:24.719 --> 00:42:27.639
could say it's the best of the three, but it's dominating.
784
00:42:27.719 --> 00:42:29.840
Seventy three percent of your vote is for buck Cherry.
785
00:42:29.880 --> 00:42:32.159

Welcome back everybody, rod Ryan's Show throw Back Thursday. It's
793
00:42:54.400 --> 00:42:57.280
always interesting to see if things change. I don't have
794
00:42:57.360 --> 00:42:59.760
a whole lot of hope that buck Cherry song is.
795
00:43:00.239 --> 00:43:02.320
The buck Cherry song is great. I love it. I
796
00:43:02.440 --> 00:43:05.079
love those guys. I think they're working on some new stuff.
797
00:43:05.840 --> 00:43:08.360
Stone Roses, I get it. Nobody knows who they are.
798
00:43:09.320 --> 00:43:12.119
Buck Cherry fifty percent of the vote, Eels thirty two
799
00:43:12.119 --> 00:43:16.239
percent of the vote. Stone Roses Love spread sixteen percent

803
00:43:29.039 --> 00:43:33.280
coming up in just a moment. But first, Alex, what's
804
00:43:33.360 --> 00:43:35.800
trending over there. Well, the Beach Boys are trending.
805
00:43:36.000 --> 00:43:39.159
It's all because of Brian Wilson passing away of the
806
00:43:39.239 --> 00:43:42.039
Beach Boys at eighty two, and that's what the Internet
807
00:43:42.039 --> 00:43:43.800
seems to be talking about the most this morning.
808
00:43:43.960 --> 00:43:47.639
There's an argument and I will listen to it. It
809
00:43:47.679 --> 00:43:50.000
didn't sell the most albums, but are they the greatest
810
00:43:50.039 --> 00:43:54.239
American rock band of all times? Influential American rock? Cool?
811
00:43:54.480 --> 00:43:56.880
It sounds like set the groundwork for a bunch of
812
00:43:56.920 --> 00:43:58.719
other weird stuff and like trying all that.
813
00:43:59.360 --> 00:44:02.360
I don't know. Pet Sounds is where when you look
814
00:44:02.400 --> 00:44:05.480
at Holy God knows why that that song is on there.
815
00:44:05.519 --> 00:44:08.360
And that's why Paul McCartney went out and wrote wouldn't
816
00:44:08.400 --> 00:44:09.960
it be nice? Sloop John B Like those are some
817
00:44:10.039 --> 00:44:12.880
of their bigger songs. Yeah, on that, But we wouldn't
818
00:44:12.880 --> 00:44:15.079
have Sergeant Pepper from the Beatles if we didn't have
819
00:44:15.119 --> 00:44:18.360
Pet Sounds. Those guys, the Beatles and the Beach Boys
820
00:44:18.400 --> 00:44:20.480
were kind of going neck and neck, you know. But
821
00:44:21.039 --> 00:44:23.320
the Beach Boys wrote like silly beach songs, you know,
822
00:44:23.599 --> 00:44:29.719
but surfing. But the intricacies to right, But the intricacies
823
00:44:29.840 --> 00:44:32.679
of the melodies and how he put the songs and
824
00:44:32.719 --> 00:44:36.000
the song structure. He was so influential. The Eagles have
825
00:44:36.079 --> 00:44:39.719
sold the most albums of any American rock band, But
826
00:44:39.800 --> 00:44:41.840
are the Beach Boys the greatest American rock band of
827
00:44:41.880 --> 00:44:44.599
all time? What are the metrics you're using?
828
00:44:44.679 --> 00:44:47.840
You know, I can't remember what what show or documentary
829
00:44:47.880 --> 00:44:49.360
it was, but they were showing like this is from
830
00:44:49.519 --> 00:44:51.599
It was basically just talking about how PET Sounds influenced
831
00:44:51.599 --> 00:44:53.320
so many other people, like they did this, which is this?
832
00:44:53.519 --> 00:44:55.519
And then Trent Resdy was like, I was influenced by this.
833
00:44:55.840 --> 00:44:58.039
Yes, it was just cool to see how many other
834
00:44:58.159 --> 00:45:00.280
artists were, Like I learned how to do that because
835
00:45:00.280 --> 00:45:01.440
I heard it on PET Sounds and I was like,
836
00:45:01.480 --> 00:45:02.519
how do I figure this out?
837
00:45:03.079 --> 00:45:05.360
We've thrown the word around twice in two days, but
838
00:45:05.679 --> 00:45:12.599
it applies. Sly Stone Genius, Brian Wilson genius, Absolute Stone
839
00:45:12.639 --> 00:45:15.320
Cold genius, Sixta gram Thursday is also treading.
840
00:45:15.400 --> 00:45:19.239
Natalie Losana was submitted to us by Jack in sugar
841
00:45:19.320 --> 00:45:20.920
Land and people are checking her out at the world
842
00:45:20.960 --> 00:45:23.199
famous Rod Ryan showpage at the buzz dot Com.
843
00:45:23.360 --> 00:45:24.119
I think you're gonna like.
844
00:45:24.199 --> 00:45:25.840
Which to see and I feel like Chili is probably
845
00:45:25.840 --> 00:45:29.039
gonna put her in his top ten. Wow, okay, that's
846
00:45:29.039 --> 00:45:31.159
all sixture on Thursdays in his top ten. But this one,
847
00:45:31.199 --> 00:45:32.199
I definitely think we'll be in.
848
00:45:32.199 --> 00:45:33.679
His top ten, his top ten of the year, of
849
00:45:33.760 --> 00:45:36.199
the last ten sixty grad so she'll be in right
850
00:45:36.239 --> 00:45:40.199
on board. Sabrina Carpenter is also trending. She announced her
851
00:45:40.280 --> 00:45:42.880
new album is going to be called Man's Best Friend.
852
00:45:42.920 --> 00:45:44.000
It's coming out in August.
853
00:45:44.239 --> 00:45:46.760
But then she put the album art out there, album
854
00:45:46.840 --> 00:45:48.719
cover of the Year, and it's.
855
00:45:48.559 --> 00:45:51.639
A little risque. I don't think it was really that risque,
856
00:45:51.760 --> 00:45:54.440
Like she's not showing anything. It's just like her on
857
00:45:54.519 --> 00:45:57.079
her knees trying to, you know, go check it out,
858
00:45:57.119 --> 00:46:00.480
just go I'm looking at girls. It should be okay,
859
00:46:00.519 --> 00:46:02.679
goods to keep. People are talking about that, and I
860
00:46:02.960 --> 00:46:04.960
keeper get mad about people get mad about everything.
861
00:46:04.800 --> 00:46:05.159
On the internet.
862
00:46:05.199 --> 00:46:07.119
But that's trinics. And now you provide it is all
863
00:46:07.159 --> 00:46:09.719
you got to do is do something like that. You
864
00:46:09.800 --> 00:46:11.559
gotta look at it to understand what I'm talking about,
865
00:46:11.719 --> 00:46:14.559
and you gotta say I'm owning it, I'm empowering it.
866
00:46:14.760 --> 00:46:17.920
I'm uh you know what I mean? Anything whatever these
867
00:46:17.960 --> 00:46:20.360
only fans girls say, it's like, oh no, I'm you know,
868
00:46:20.400 --> 00:46:22.760
I'm a strong woman, and I'm empowered, and I'm doing
869
00:46:22.800 --> 00:46:25.679
all these things and I'm taking the control here. She
870
00:46:25.719 --> 00:46:28.159
doesn't look in control on the guy looks in control
871
00:46:29.719 --> 00:46:32.440
of the shoot the dude looks in control on that.
872
00:46:32.480 --> 00:46:32.840
Helme come.
873
00:46:32.840 --> 00:46:33.760

910
00:48:29.039 --> 00:48:31.440
this is what's gonna happen when you're there on August fifteenth.
911
00:48:31.559 --> 00:48:33.719
You're gonna giggle. You're gonna remember me telling you this.
912
00:48:34.400 --> 00:48:36.760
Oh my god, Rod was right. I know every single
913
00:48:36.880 --> 00:48:39.760
song both of these bands are playing. There's gonna be
914
00:48:39.880 --> 00:48:43.039
a ton that you forgot about. And both of these
915
00:48:43.119 --> 00:48:46.320
bands just play hit after hit after hit after hit
916
00:48:46.679 --> 00:48:50.920
and you'll be giggling. All right, absolutely, all right, Tina,
917
00:48:51.000 --> 00:48:52.519
thank you for being on the show today. Hang on
918
00:48:52.599 --> 00:48:59.159
for me. Uh, email this person back. I want to
919
00:48:59.239 --> 00:49:00.360
help me with an email quick.
920
00:49:00.679 --> 00:49:01.239
I'm good at this.
921
00:49:01.360 --> 00:49:05.239
All right? Is Melissa? Hey Melissa, morning, fam. My husband
922
00:49:05.239 --> 00:49:07.119
and I are driving in tomorrow. Not as cool as
923
00:49:07.159 --> 00:49:10.760
that you're five hour listeners, but they're driving three and
924
00:49:10.800 --> 00:49:13.119
a half hours. She didn't ask for me to put her.
925
00:49:13.079 --> 00:49:16.280
Aside the shirt, but you did it, Rod, you started this.
926
00:49:16.519 --> 00:49:19.480
I need the details. What time do the doors open?
927
00:49:21.039 --> 00:49:22.920
I don't know. I know that we're gonna be there
928
00:49:22.920 --> 00:49:24.880
at noon, Gunner. I'm sure he's going to be ready
929
00:49:24.920 --> 00:49:27.559
to go at eleven. Yeah. So I'm going to say
930
00:49:28.840 --> 00:49:31.119
I'm pretty sure you can get there at eleven o'clock tomorrow.
931
00:49:31.400 --> 00:49:33.599
I'm going to say that what time do I need
932
00:49:33.679 --> 00:49:34.920
there to get a shirt?
933
00:49:36.280 --> 00:49:38.559
That's a Chili question, Chili, what time are you going
934
00:49:38.599 --> 00:49:38.920
to be there?
935
00:49:39.119 --> 00:49:43.639
Chili is the shirt guy, and it's the one job
936
00:49:43.679 --> 00:49:48.760
a year. He kind of weirdly likes it. He likes
937
00:49:49.119 --> 00:49:51.480
having the power of the shirts. He isn't taking a crab.
938
00:49:51.519 --> 00:49:53.280
He's like getting line, Hey man, you want a shirt,
939
00:49:53.320 --> 00:49:56.719
get in line? What what what happens with these free
940
00:49:56.840 --> 00:49:58.679
T shirts that say Ditch Day on them? Chili?
941
00:50:00.320 --> 00:50:02.880
Do you know people come in and they get them?
942
00:50:03.239 --> 00:50:05.159
So, but don't you want people to be caught out?
943
00:50:05.159 --> 00:50:06.880
Don't you want a little law and order with these?
944
00:50:07.079 --> 00:50:09.519
Oh yeah no, when they come in, I mean I'll
945
00:50:09.559 --> 00:50:12.400
show up and that's already people in there waiting. I
946
00:50:12.440 --> 00:50:13.760
want a shirt. I want a shirt. I was like, well,
947
00:50:13.800 --> 00:50:16.039
hold on, let me set up first, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah,
948
00:50:16.280 --> 00:50:19.360
you know, and then I have them all in the line.
949
00:50:19.559 --> 00:50:20.039
And then.
950
00:50:21.480 --> 00:50:24.360
You know, once I say come in, I said, what size?
951
00:50:24.760 --> 00:50:27.760
That size? Boom boom, keep it moving, Keep the line moving,
952
00:50:27.840 --> 00:50:28.760
keep the line moving.
953
00:50:28.920 --> 00:50:31.119
So okay, what time of the doors open? We don't
954
00:50:31.159 --> 00:50:37.880
know they open. So what time do I need there
955
00:50:37.920 --> 00:50:39.440
to get a shirt? Get there early? I don't know
956
00:50:39.519 --> 00:50:41.559
what time does it officially start noon? I can answer
957
00:50:41.639 --> 00:50:44.039
that one. This will help figuring out what time we
958
00:50:44.159 --> 00:50:47.119
have to leave in the morning. Just can't wait to
959
00:50:47.199 --> 00:50:49.000
party with you all. This will be my first Ditch
960
00:50:49.119 --> 00:50:51.639
Day that I'm able to attend. Scratch that off my
961
00:50:51.679 --> 00:50:55.239
bucket list. All right, Melissa, that's awesome. That is so awesome.
962
00:50:55.559 --> 00:50:57.559
I wanted to give a shout out to Michael who's
963
00:50:57.639 --> 00:51:02.280
listening from the future. What is mean he's listening tomorrow,
964
00:51:02.480 --> 00:51:03.159
which is today?
965
00:51:03.440 --> 00:51:04.559
Oh he's in another country.
966
00:51:04.639 --> 00:51:10.800
He's in Tokyo, Tokyo. Yeah, how cool is that? Now
967
00:51:11.840 --> 00:51:14.000
I'm talking about ditch Day. We are giving away a
968
00:51:14.039 --> 00:51:16.719
pair of Metallica tickets at ditch Day. Official time of
969
00:51:16.800 --> 00:51:19.280
ditch Day is noon to Official time to sign up
970
00:51:19.360 --> 00:51:22.440
for tickets for that pair of tickets to Metallica is
971
00:51:22.519 --> 00:51:24.760
noon to two two o'clock. We will grant a winner.
972
00:51:25.000 --> 00:51:27.320
Okay, now I.
973
00:51:27.360 --> 00:51:32.559
Got an email here. You can keep this rolling, Brother Rod,
974
00:51:33.239 --> 00:51:36.159
This is coming from a knowe. I got a question
975
00:51:36.239 --> 00:51:40.679
for you. How old? Let's see, Brother Rod, can you
976
00:51:40.840 --> 00:51:43.559
ask the question of how old your kids should be
977
00:51:43.760 --> 00:51:46.760
to take them to a concert. I have a toddler
978
00:51:47.320 --> 00:51:50.400
and I want to take him to the Metallica show Saturday,
979
00:51:50.800 --> 00:51:52.800
but he might be too young for this type of show.
980
00:51:53.039 --> 00:51:55.519
How many parents are taking their kids and what age?
981
00:51:57.519 --> 00:52:01.880
Personal choice? I'll start with that complete personal choice here.
982
00:52:02.000 --> 00:52:04.559
You know what's best for your child only you.
983
00:52:04.800 --> 00:52:06.440
Know what's best for you.
984
00:52:07.039 --> 00:52:07.440
We covered that.
985
00:52:07.639 --> 00:52:14.119
That's great, MO, But okay, what's a toddler? How old
986
00:52:14.199 --> 00:52:21.599
is the toddler under five. Okay, London went to I'll start. Okay,
987
00:52:21.760 --> 00:52:24.400
London went to Buzzfest this year. She's seven.
988
00:52:24.840 --> 00:52:25.199
Mm hmm.
989
00:52:25.840 --> 00:52:29.679
She's got special privileges with me. Okay, Oh, good for her.
990
00:52:29.920 --> 00:52:30.079
I know.
991
00:52:30.480 --> 00:52:33.119
I'm just saying she's got special privileges with me. It's important.
992
00:52:34.440 --> 00:52:37.119
We know a ton of people there. I knew Jessica
993
00:52:37.239 --> 00:52:38.719
was bringing her kids, you know what I mean, Like
994
00:52:38.760 --> 00:52:43.199
there was just neighbors kids alone. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but
995
00:52:43.440 --> 00:52:48.159
it's not you can walk around. It's a festival. It's
996
00:52:48.159 --> 00:52:52.039
a Buzzfest. It's a festival. So it's like Jessica said, Hey,
997
00:52:52.119 --> 00:52:54.159
I got London. We're gonna go get some pizza. She's
998
00:52:54.159 --> 00:52:55.559
gonna hang out with the boys for a little bit,
999
00:52:55.840 --> 00:52:57.519
and then hey we're gonna go check this band out.
1000
00:52:57.519 --> 00:52:59.519
We're gonna do this. And then I had London. You know,
1001
00:52:59.599 --> 00:53:03.559
I took her back stage and all of that. That's
1002
00:53:03.639 --> 00:53:06.199
my story. I'm not bragging. I'm saying that's why I
1003
00:53:06.360 --> 00:53:09.719
was comfortable. I'm not bringing London to Metallica.
1004
00:53:09.639 --> 00:53:11.000
Because you want to have fun.
1005
00:53:11.320 --> 00:53:16.760
Well yeah, that no offense, but that I'm not walking
1006
00:53:16.800 --> 00:53:18.679
around I'm watching Metallica.
1007
00:53:18.320 --> 00:53:19.840
Sitting in a toddler.
1008
00:53:21.599 --> 00:53:24.320
Toddler's not gonna sit through. I gave you set times
1009
00:53:24.360 --> 00:53:26.639
the other day. First band's going on at six o'clock. Yeah,
1010
00:53:27.360 --> 00:53:33.960
this is a six to eleven, highly charged, aggro loud
1011
00:53:34.960 --> 00:53:40.400
rock metal show. But you do what's best for your child.
1012
00:53:41.920 --> 00:53:44.559
Make it like you know, like they want to go
1013
00:53:44.679 --> 00:53:46.960
home and they're done with that. You gotta either leave
1014
00:53:47.039 --> 00:53:49.039
with them or just like you gotta suck it up, buddy, kids,
1015
00:53:49.079 --> 00:53:52.000
bring those toddlers to Monster Jam. Those Monster Jam trucks
1016
00:53:52.039 --> 00:53:55.079
are loud. Yeah, you can just see row after row
1017
00:53:55.320 --> 00:53:56.199
of four year olds.
1018
00:54:00.480 --> 00:54:02.480
They need to sleep, they need to sleep, they.
1019
00:54:02.559 --> 00:54:05.400
Just fall asleep. It's loud as bombs in there with
1020
00:54:05.559 --> 00:54:06.159
Monster Jam.
1021
00:54:06.800 --> 00:54:08.400
You can see them in the line and the pit
1022
00:54:08.480 --> 00:54:10.440
party sometimes like that. You're not gonna make it all day,
1023
00:54:10.480 --> 00:54:11.000
are you, buddy?
1024
00:54:11.519 --> 00:54:14.360
I just I mean, bring your kid if you want
1025
00:54:14.360 --> 00:54:15.320
to get it, if you want to have.
1026
00:54:15.400 --> 00:54:17.639
The experience with the experience, and you want to say
1027
00:54:17.679 --> 00:54:18.719
they went to that concert.
1028
00:54:18.800 --> 00:54:21.960
I want to pick get them with Metallica. But there's
1029
00:54:22.039 --> 00:54:25.360
no kid, there's no toddler that's gonna make it that
1030
00:54:25.599 --> 00:54:28.559
for that concert. And then you might not be interested
1031
00:54:28.599 --> 00:54:31.719
in suicidal tendencies. Or Pantera. I don't know why you wouldn't,
1032
00:54:32.000 --> 00:54:34.320
but it's an expensive ticket and that's a part of
1033
00:54:34.400 --> 00:54:36.239
your ticket price. But I get it. You're there to
1034
00:54:36.280 --> 00:54:41.119
see Metallica, Metallica. Do you remember the set times? Did
1035
00:54:41.159 --> 00:54:41.719
you write them down?
1036
00:54:41.760 --> 00:54:43.039
I wrote them down yesterday.
1037
00:54:43.920 --> 00:54:45.440
Are they going on at seven forty five?
1038
00:54:45.760 --> 00:54:48.360
Seven Metallica? Eight thirty five?
1039
00:54:48.599 --> 00:54:50.400
Metallic is going on at eight thirty five? How many
1040
00:54:50.480 --> 00:54:51.840
toddlers are up at eight thirty five?
1041
00:54:52.039 --> 00:54:52.760
Please say none?
1042
00:54:52.880 --> 00:54:56.559
To the start of the activities, Okay, they're gonna play
1043
00:54:56.559 --> 00:55:01.639
at all eleven. Yeah, they're gonna plate. Metallica is gonna
1044
00:55:01.639 --> 00:55:05.159
play two hours. We're gonna play at a ten thirty
1045
00:55:05.400 --> 00:55:09.840
at least, and they'll probably go to almost eleven. I
1046
00:55:09.880 --> 00:55:12.000
don't see how a little kid could make it. I
1047
00:55:12.400 --> 00:55:14.320
think the adrenaline and stuff and the kid will make
1048
00:55:14.320 --> 00:55:18.480
it for a while. I'll throw it out there, what's
1049
00:55:18.519 --> 00:55:21.480
the youngest Who's bringing the youngest kid to Metallica on Saturday?
1050
00:55:21.679 --> 00:55:22.800
Oh, you'll see. I'm strapped on.
1051
00:55:23.000 --> 00:55:26.000
No judgment zone, zero judgment zone.
1052
00:55:26.119 --> 00:55:28.400
You never carry your child. It's your kid you do
1053
00:55:28.760 --> 00:55:29.559
pouch to.
1054
00:55:29.599 --> 00:55:31.239
You don't go to a concert out thing. You do
1055
00:55:31.360 --> 00:55:33.119
what's best for your child. And again, I do think
1056
00:55:33.119 --> 00:55:34.360
there's a difference with the festival.
1057
00:55:34.480 --> 00:55:34.639
Man.
1058
00:55:34.719 --> 00:55:37.239
I had London out there as a baby, a lot
1059
00:55:37.360 --> 00:55:39.920
of kids, but I mean as a baby. I have
1060
00:55:40.039 --> 00:55:42.519
her on a jazz fest in New Orleans. We're walking around,
1061
00:55:42.599 --> 00:55:44.880
we're eating, we're sitting in a chair, we got a
1062
00:55:45.480 --> 00:55:48.960
blanket out. I got her in the shade. She's been
1063
00:55:48.960 --> 00:55:52.719
out there her whole life for jazz Fest. It's not
1064
00:55:53.079 --> 00:55:56.559
an enclosed stadium where it's like it's all you're doing
1065
00:55:56.840 --> 00:55:59.440
jazz Fest. I got the stroller. I'm walking her around
1066
00:55:59.639 --> 00:56:01.880
the kids zone. There's all of that. At jazz Fast.
1067
00:56:01.960 --> 00:56:04.840
You're waiting in a line for merch. Yeah. So again,
1068
00:56:05.039 --> 00:56:09.239
who who's bringing the youngest kid to Metallica? You can
1069
00:56:09.320 --> 00:56:11.119
call it in seven one three, two one two, five
1070
00:56:11.280 --> 00:56:13.320
nine five or email me Rod at the Buzz dot com.
1071
00:56:14.320 --> 00:56:17.519
Oh hey, al, your dad's May your father's day be
1072
00:56:17.639 --> 00:56:18.960
better than your jokes.
1073
00:56:19.159 --> 00:56:20.360
Nothing's better than my jokes.
1074
00:56:21.320 --> 00:56:25.400
The Ron Ryan Show on ninety four five The Buzz
1075
00:56:26.519 --> 00:56:29.000
ninety four five The Buzz, Good Morning, Rod Ryan's Show.
1076
00:56:29.800 --> 00:56:31.320
Thank you so much for having us on. Get your
1077
00:56:31.400 --> 00:56:34.280
votes in for Throwback Thursday. And I haven't been beating
1078
00:56:34.280 --> 00:56:36.320
you up all that much. I do need some more
1079
00:56:36.360 --> 00:56:38.119
words sent into me.
1080
00:56:38.599 --> 00:56:38.719
Uh.
1081
00:56:38.880 --> 00:56:43.559
It is a huge, huge, read my lips game today.
1082
00:56:44.519 --> 00:56:47.360
The tickets are the sold out Metallica tickets. Kind of
1083
00:56:47.360 --> 00:56:49.440
the subject matter that we're talking about right now. I
1084
00:56:49.519 --> 00:56:51.800
need some more words though, most taking on Alex. You
1085
00:56:51.880 --> 00:56:55.440
need to email me directly. Rod at thebuzz dot com
1086
00:56:56.519 --> 00:56:58.400
listener sent me an email and said he wants to
1087
00:56:58.480 --> 00:57:01.559
take his toddler. He isn't specific said he wanted to
1088
00:57:01.599 --> 00:57:04.159
take his toddler to the Metallica concert. He's wondering how
1089
00:57:04.239 --> 00:57:09.480
old should you be to go to your first concerts? Well,
1090
00:57:09.559 --> 00:57:10.280
you have toddlers.
1091
00:57:10.480 --> 00:57:12.119
I do a four year old and a two year old.
1092
00:57:12.199 --> 00:57:14.719
Have they been to a concert yet, Sailor.
1093
00:57:15.440 --> 00:57:20.280
Yes, yes, it's rodeo. Okay, so a rodeo that's family friendly.
1094
00:57:20.599 --> 00:57:24.880
That's yeah, that's a different situation. We've done like the
1095
00:57:24.920 --> 00:57:27.039
same venue Metallic as that, a carnival.
1096
00:57:27.960 --> 00:57:31.119
We've done like the Disney concerts, like in sugar Land.
1097
00:57:31.159 --> 00:57:33.519
It's smart financial and like that kind of stuff, but
1098
00:57:33.920 --> 00:57:35.400
never anything outside of Rodeo.
1099
00:57:35.599 --> 00:57:38.719
Okay, Hey, Nick, good morning, you have more to ride?
1100
00:57:38.719 --> 00:57:40.559
How going great? What you got for me?
1101
00:57:41.639 --> 00:57:41.800
Man?
1102
00:57:41.840 --> 00:57:42.639
I just wanted to say.
1103
00:57:42.679 --> 00:57:45.239
I was six years old in the pit at the
1104
00:57:45.320 --> 00:57:48.480
Woodlands Evanescence fly Leaf Corn Lincoln Park.
1105
00:57:49.880 --> 00:57:50.320
My parents.
1106
00:57:50.480 --> 00:57:52.400
My dad was super safe, making sure we got to
1107
00:57:52.519 --> 00:57:53.360
enjoy concerts.
1108
00:57:53.440 --> 00:57:55.760
But yeah, I was on his neck in the pit.
1109
00:57:56.280 --> 00:57:59.239
We got to Actually, when Chester cut across through the
1110
00:57:59.320 --> 00:58:02.159
side stage, he tapped us up and threw a guitar pick.
1111
00:58:02.280 --> 00:58:04.679
So it was super cool experience. You remember it being
1112
00:58:04.719 --> 00:58:06.280
six years old? Oh?
1113
00:58:06.400 --> 00:58:06.599
Yeah?
1114
00:58:06.920 --> 00:58:07.280
Is that fit?
1115
00:58:07.400 --> 00:58:07.519
Was that?
1116
00:58:07.800 --> 00:58:11.559
That's family values? Yes, family values story. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
1117
00:58:11.719 --> 00:58:13.400
you went when you were six in the pit?
1118
00:58:14.559 --> 00:58:14.760
Yeah.
1119
00:58:14.840 --> 00:58:18.239
Man, we were three roads back. A lady couldn't hang
1120
00:58:18.360 --> 00:58:20.639
and she said, take that baby to the pit and
1121
00:58:20.679 --> 00:58:21.880
through me and my dad are ticket.
1122
00:58:22.119 --> 00:58:24.599
That's amazing, all right, dude, thank you. Well there you go.
1123
00:58:24.719 --> 00:58:27.239
I mean, there's somebody six years old. But you said
1124
00:58:27.280 --> 00:58:31.280
that's outside of Toddler cut off. Yes, right six. You
1125
00:58:31.280 --> 00:58:35.840
said Toddler was five five? Okay, I got pictures to
1126
00:58:35.920 --> 00:58:38.320
back it up too. Sarah Jones, I took my daughter
1127
00:58:38.400 --> 00:58:40.719
to see my Chemical Romance at the Toyota Center when
1128
00:58:40.760 --> 00:58:47.760
she was four years old. Hearing protection and lots of snacks. Yes,
1129
00:58:49.000 --> 00:58:51.920
Tracy says, hey, Rod, we've taken our daughter to concerts
1130
00:58:51.960 --> 00:58:55.880
since she was five, but always had decibel restricting noise
1131
00:58:56.000 --> 00:58:59.760
canceling headphones on her noggin. We have not been able
1132
00:58:59.800 --> 00:59:03.920
to win tickets to Metallica, but she's sixteen. Now let
1133
00:59:04.000 --> 00:59:06.800
me see. Oh here we go. Uh Chris Cook, brother Rod,
1134
00:59:06.800 --> 00:59:09.239
I'm bringing my ten year old son to Metallica. They
1135
00:59:09.280 --> 00:59:12.320
are his favorite band. His first concert was Dropkick Murphy's
1136
00:59:12.920 --> 00:59:15.280
and yes, at ten pm, he did fall asleep. He
1137
00:59:15.400 --> 00:59:18.639
was probably seven at the time. Those kids are going
1138
00:59:18.679 --> 00:59:20.239
to fall asleep. I don't know if they're going to
1139
00:59:20.280 --> 00:59:24.400
make it all night. I think my next door neighbor
1140
00:59:25.320 --> 00:59:28.679
he's going to Metallica and he's, Oh, he's Nick's friends.
1141
00:59:28.719 --> 00:59:32.119
They rock hard. I think he's I think he's If
1142
00:59:32.119 --> 00:59:34.320
you're going into fifth grade you're ten.
1143
00:59:34.920 --> 00:59:35.599
That seems right.
1144
00:59:35.760 --> 00:59:38.400
Metallica. That's what he got. He got Metallica tickets for Christmas.
1145
00:59:38.840 --> 00:59:39.559
Is his favorite band.
1146
00:59:39.800 --> 00:59:40.760
You know what I mean different?
1147
00:59:40.840 --> 00:59:42.960
Ten year old is different, and your parents are cool.
1148
00:59:43.159 --> 00:59:47.920
My parents weren't that cool. The question was I want
1149
00:59:47.960 --> 00:59:51.519
to bring my toddler and I will start with how
1150
00:59:51.599 --> 00:59:54.400
I I'll end with how I started. You do you dad?
1151
00:59:54.760 --> 00:59:57.880
You know what I mean? You do you, it's to
1152
00:59:57.960 --> 01:00:01.559
your kid. You know which is It's right. The rod
1153
01:00:01.639 --> 01:00:08.320
Ryan Morning Show six to ten AM, The Buzz ninety
1154
01:00:08.360 --> 01:00:10.679
four or five The Buzz, Good Morning, rod Ryan's Show.
1155
01:00:13.280 --> 01:00:16.320
It's all. It's well documented that we studio doesn't have
1156
01:00:16.360 --> 01:00:18.280
any outdoor windows. So it's not until I go and
1157
01:00:18.360 --> 01:00:20.440
maybe get my cup of coffee. Halfway point of the show.
1158
01:00:20.440 --> 01:00:22.159
I get a cup of coffee. Usually read before eight.
1159
01:00:23.239 --> 01:00:25.840
It's as black as it was on your drive in
1160
01:00:25.960 --> 01:00:29.440
this morning, Mo, and I know your rec checks are terrible.
1161
01:00:29.480 --> 01:00:32.239
You got the cameras on. But Matt, it's nasty outside.
1162
01:00:32.320 --> 01:00:34.280
When I say one hundred percent chance of rain, one
1163
01:00:34.400 --> 01:00:35.360
hundred percent chance of.
1164
01:00:35.400 --> 01:00:36.599
Rain, be careful out there.
1165
01:00:36.719 --> 01:00:41.519
It sucks out there right now. Be careful. Please, I
1166
01:00:41.599 --> 01:00:44.239
need some more word suggestions. Email me Rod at Thebuzz

01:01:03.199 --> 01:01:07.239
thunderstorms with gusty Winn's iceolid tornadoes and hail started super
1174
01:01:07.280 --> 01:01:10.199
early this morning. And these storms are moving very slowly,
1175
01:01:10.280 --> 01:01:12.280
which we hate to hear because we know that slow
1176
01:01:12.360 --> 01:01:17.000
moving means flooding across the area. The floodwatch has been
1177
01:01:17.079 --> 01:01:21.960
issued until seven pm, and the flash flood warning extended
1178
01:01:22.119 --> 01:01:24.559
in Mattagorda County. So if you're in that area, it's
1179
01:01:24.559 --> 01:01:27.440
still eleven this afternoon. There is still a ground stop.
1180
01:01:27.480 --> 01:01:29.920
It looks like it's just now for Hobby Airport, but
1181
01:01:30.000 --> 01:01:34.719
that's until eight point thirty. Looking ahead, lingering showers until
1182
01:01:34.760 --> 01:01:35.519
about four pm.
1183
01:01:35.800 --> 01:01:37.639
Let's just get through this this morning, all right.
1184
01:01:37.880 --> 01:01:39.880
The ripple effect that jack's up flights all over the
1185
01:01:39.920 --> 01:01:43.440
country just because of us. Yeah wow, y'all.
1186
01:01:43.559 --> 01:01:43.960
Good luck.
1187
01:01:45.320 --> 01:01:49.760
Demonstrations continue around the United States over ice raids. Nearly
1188
01:01:49.800 --> 01:01:52.039
four hundred protesters have been jailed in LA since the
1189
01:01:52.079 --> 01:01:55.480
beginning of protests over the weekend. Here in Texas, Governor
1190
01:01:55.519 --> 01:01:58.760
Abbot's office said Texas will not tolerate the lawlessness we
1191
01:01:58.800 --> 01:02:01.920
have seen in LA. He has the Texas National Guard
1192
01:02:01.960 --> 01:02:06.320
soldiers on standby in San Antonio watching that overnight protests
1193
01:02:06.360 --> 01:02:07.559
remain mostly peaceful.
1194
01:02:07.719 --> 01:02:08.360
Good shop, y'all.
1195
01:02:08.599 --> 01:02:10.440
Are we gearing up for something here in Houston this
1196
01:02:10.519 --> 01:02:11.760
weekend too. I heard the mayor.
1197
01:02:11.960 --> 01:02:13.119
Yes, the King's Day.
1198
01:02:13.400 --> 01:02:14.159
No, King's Day.
1199
01:02:14.880 --> 01:02:16.519
There's going to be a lot of protesters.
1200
01:02:16.599 --> 01:02:20.599
Okay, just keep it peaceful. I'm not like most people.
1201
01:02:20.719 --> 01:02:23.320
I think, you know, obviously a First Amendment guy in
1202
01:02:23.400 --> 01:02:25.960
freedom of speech and all of that and right to protest.
1203
01:02:26.079 --> 01:02:29.599
But peacefully. Please peacefully, and don't lock a road.
1204
01:02:30.039 --> 01:02:35.960
Please, don't hurt each other, don't mess up, don't jack Yes, coffee, let's.
1205
01:02:35.760 --> 01:02:38.159
Talk about coffee over scot your first cup of the day.
1206
01:02:38.519 --> 01:02:42.000
Coffee is the number one beverage we quote can't live without.
1207
01:02:42.960 --> 01:02:44.960
So I guess the company that owns Kurig and Doctor
1208
01:02:45.000 --> 01:02:47.599
Pepper and a bunch of other brands just released their
1209
01:02:47.639 --> 01:02:50.320
first ever the State of Beverages Report.
1210
01:02:50.639 --> 01:02:53.760
Really Curig put out, I know That's why I had
1211
01:02:53.800 --> 01:02:54.559
to say, who did it?
1212
01:02:54.679 --> 01:02:54.880
Yeah?
1213
01:02:54.880 --> 01:02:57.280
I know it so important to know who does these.
1214
01:02:57.599 --> 01:03:01.440
Studies donating rod they got into of like tons of
1215
01:03:01.519 --> 01:03:04.079
details about what people like, how your preferences when you're
1216
01:03:04.119 --> 01:03:08.800
drinking it. Coffee is officially the most important drink in America,
1217
01:03:08.920 --> 01:03:12.599
but it's not the one we love the most. Fifty
1218
01:03:12.920 --> 01:03:14.480
people say soda is.
1219
01:03:14.480 --> 01:03:18.480
Their favorite drink. Do you drink any soda?
1220
01:03:19.000 --> 01:03:19.239
None?
1221
01:03:19.760 --> 01:03:25.719
You call it soda, no coke, It's called pop alice.
1222
01:03:25.760 --> 01:03:29.119
Do you ever drink pop anymore soda? When was the
1223
01:03:29.199 --> 01:03:33.440
last time you had one? Last Friday? My wife got
1224
01:03:37.280 --> 01:03:39.239
every now and then. I gotta admit I'll crave like
1225
01:03:39.280 --> 01:03:39.880
a diet coke.
1226
01:03:39.960 --> 01:03:44.400
I don't like what burger or something and that styrofum cup.
1227
01:03:44.519 --> 01:03:47.679
I'll tell you the cheat code. I finished the cheat
1228
01:03:47.719 --> 01:03:49.920
code for me, and I don't know if it's if
1229
01:03:50.239 --> 01:03:52.000
these are any good for you. You guys all know
1230
01:03:52.079 --> 01:03:54.840
that Celsius drink. Yeah, they make a cola one really
1231
01:03:55.000 --> 01:03:58.679
and it feels like you're drinking a diet coked. I'm
1232
01:03:58.679 --> 01:04:02.519
addicted to Elsious Celsius cola. Okay, they're pretty great.
1233
01:04:02.519 --> 01:04:04.119
I'm gonna try and putting it on my grocery list
1234
01:04:04.199 --> 01:04:04.440
right now.
1235
01:04:04.599 --> 01:04:04.840
Thank you.
1236
01:04:05.519 --> 01:04:08.719
Let's talk about Britney Spears. She went off yesterday on Instagram.
1237
01:04:08.800 --> 01:04:11.480
Not just her normal like dancing around naked stuff. She
1238
01:04:11.559 --> 01:04:13.960
aarty deleted this Instagram post, which makes me want to
1239
01:04:14.039 --> 01:04:17.400
know the tea because she was railing on her exes
1240
01:04:17.480 --> 01:04:19.480
yesterday saying, quote, I dated two f in.
1241
01:04:19.519 --> 01:04:22.440
Complete a holes. I realized I love their dogs more
1242
01:04:22.480 --> 01:04:24.360
than them, and I think it's because their dogs bowed
1243
01:04:24.400 --> 01:04:26.320
down to me every time they entered the room.
1244
01:04:27.800 --> 01:04:31.079
What what I think people say that about my dog?
1245
01:04:31.760 --> 01:04:32.920
Food is way cooler.
1246
01:04:32.760 --> 01:04:38.519
Than figure out which EXAs she was talking about. But
1247
01:04:38.639 --> 01:04:40.119
she just went on and on and on.
1248
01:04:41.159 --> 01:04:43.440
Well she was the last guy she was Was she
1249
01:04:43.480 --> 01:04:45.679
married to that Sam guy, the handsome dude Sam. I
1250
01:04:45.719 --> 01:04:46.079
don't think.
1251
01:04:46.679 --> 01:04:48.880
Yeah, I think they were probably married, yeah, if not,
1252
01:04:49.360 --> 01:04:53.199
just engaged. But yes, she seems fairly normal.
1253
01:04:53.280 --> 01:04:55.280
But she's fine, guys, and everything's fine.
1254
01:04:55.639 --> 01:04:58.760
Free Brittany, Let's talk about the Beach Boys, because Brian
1255
01:04:58.800 --> 01:05:00.400
Wilson is obviously trend as.
1256
01:05:00.480 --> 01:05:02.239
He passed away, not sure when.
1257
01:05:02.159 --> 01:05:06.599
But his family announced that he died. We also don't
1258
01:05:06.639 --> 01:05:10.760
know the cause exactly. He was diagnosed with dementia. He
1259
01:05:10.880 --> 01:05:14.559
was eighty two years old. Considered one of the greatest
1260
01:05:14.880 --> 01:05:17.599
pop songwriters of all time, and the Beach Boys issued
1261
01:05:17.599 --> 01:05:20.280
a statement on their website saying, in part, Brian Wilson
1262
01:05:20.400 --> 01:05:22.559
wasn't just the heart of the Beach Boys, he was
1263
01:05:22.639 --> 01:05:25.480
the soul of our sound. The melodies he dreamed up
1264
01:05:25.519 --> 01:05:28.320
and the emotions he poured into every note changed.
1265
01:05:28.079 --> 01:05:32.039
The course of music. Forever. Those are Houston's headlines.
1266
01:05:32.119 --> 01:05:34.199
Paul McCartney said, this is the best song ever written.
1267
01:05:34.960 --> 01:05:38.719
Paul McCartney, pretty good songwriter. Yeah, that's gotta be the
1268
01:05:38.760 --> 01:05:41.639
best compliment of all time for a song. It's updown,
1269
01:05:41.880 --> 01:05:46.920
you know. I like when this plays well. The ash
1270
01:05:46.960 --> 01:05:47.960
Fills got a win last night.
1271
01:05:47.960 --> 01:05:49.800
They blew up the White Sox ten to two, Christian
1272
01:05:49.840 --> 01:05:51.800
Walker and four RBI in the game. For the shows,
1273
01:05:51.800 --> 01:05:54.000
they're gonna wrap up their series with the White Sox tonight.
1274
01:05:54.079 --> 01:05:55.880
Famer Valdez is going to be the man for Houston
1275
01:05:55.920 --> 01:05:57.920
and'll be going up against Chicago's Davis Martin.
1276
01:05:58.199 --> 01:05:59.280
First pitched at seven ten.
1277
01:05:59.320 --> 01:06:01.519
You can listen to it our sister stations, Sports Talk
1278
01:06:01.559 --> 01:06:05.119

1279
01:06:05.239 --> 01:06:07.519
Pacers beat the Thunder one sixteen to one oh seven
1280
01:06:07.559 --> 01:06:09.360
in Game three of the NBA Finals last night.
1281
01:06:09.400 --> 01:06:11.719
They're up to one in that series. They'll play game
1282
01:06:11.800 --> 01:06:12.480
four tomorrow.
1283
01:06:12.639 --> 01:06:14.760
Tonight, the Panthers and Oilers play Game four of the
1284
01:06:14.880 --> 01:06:17.559
Stanley Cup Final. Flida leads that series two games to one.
1285
01:06:17.639 --> 01:06:19.239
That starts at seven, and you can watch it on
1286
01:06:19.519 --> 01:06:22.920
T and T and True TV and in golf, it's
1287
01:06:23.000 --> 01:06:26.400
Day one of the US Open in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. World
1288
01:06:26.440 --> 01:06:28.440
number one Scottie Cheffer is the favorite twin. But right
1289
01:06:28.480 --> 01:06:32.360
now we got two people tied at two under par
1290
01:06:32.559 --> 01:06:37.039
Roy McElroy and JJ Spawn are your two co leaders.
1291
01:06:37.320 --> 01:06:39.679
That is what's or that's what's going on in score.
1292
01:06:39.760 --> 01:06:46.599
I'm Houston Rock Houston's Alternative and The rod Ryan Morning Shows.
1293
01:06:46.480 --> 01:06:49.760
Ninety four five, The Buzz Good Morning, rod Ryan Show.
1294
01:06:49.800 --> 01:06:54.000
Halfway part of the show peep Up Throwback Thursday. Stone
1295
01:06:54.119 --> 01:06:57.880
Roses in the lead. Do I think that's going to remain?
1296
01:06:58.039 --> 01:07:01.159
I don't know, Relly, There's a lot. I gotta catch
1297
01:07:01.159 --> 01:07:03.760
you guys up on a million things here because it's
1298
01:07:03.800 --> 01:07:05.960
the halfway point, let's kind of do it. Sorry for
1299
01:07:06.039 --> 01:07:07.320
those of you that have been with us the whole
1300
01:07:07.400 --> 01:07:10.599
show so far, thank you, I love you. But for
1301
01:07:10.719 --> 01:07:12.840
some of you that maybe just are catching bits and
1302
01:07:12.880 --> 01:07:15.199
pieces this morning, I realize the weather is bad. MO
1303
01:07:15.519 --> 01:07:18.760
is working overtime on not only keeping up on what's
1304
01:07:18.800 --> 01:07:20.400
going on with the weather. That's your headline today, But
1305
01:07:20.440 --> 01:07:23.360
the recchecks are busy today. Be careful out there, lots
1306
01:07:23.360 --> 01:07:27.760
of water, it's still just it's midnight, looks midnight outside.
1307
01:07:27.960 --> 01:07:30.639
That's how dark it is out there. Stone Roses Love
1308
01:07:30.719 --> 01:07:33.320
spreads forty six percent of your vote, buck Cherry lit
1309
01:07:33.400 --> 01:07:36.800
Up thirty percent, Eels Novakame for the Soul twenty three percent.
1310
01:07:37.400 --> 01:07:40.239
So people are voting. Voting is down, people are busy
1311
01:07:40.320 --> 01:07:43.239
working on other things, but we still have We finally
1312
01:07:43.239 --> 01:07:46.199
got some votes coming in on this thing. So that's
1313
01:07:46.320 --> 01:07:50.239
throwback Thursday. Read my lips is coming up. Last minute
1314
01:07:50.280 --> 01:07:53.679
words suggestions. I will always welcome them before the game starts.
1315
01:07:53.920 --> 01:07:56.320
You can email me directly. Rod at the buzz dot com.
1316
01:07:56.760 --> 01:07:58.880
MO is taking on Alex. I've got enough words to
1317
01:07:58.920 --> 01:08:00.960
play the game. I'm ready to go, and I feel
1318
01:08:01.000 --> 01:08:03.280
confident and I have good words. But if there's something
1319
01:08:03.360 --> 01:08:06.599
that is great out there, I'm not using cheap Cheese,
1320
01:08:09.400 --> 01:08:13.079
Big Day. But cheap Cheese was Moe's first addition to
1321
01:08:13.519 --> 01:08:15.760
the band list. Now that she is in charge of
1322
01:08:16.720 --> 01:08:19.960
we officially added another band to the silly Banned list
1323
01:08:20.640 --> 01:08:23.880
that Mo now possesses. All right, so I'm not using
1324
01:08:24.000 --> 01:08:28.319
cheap cheese. Facebook, they're talking about what do you waste?
1325
01:08:29.199 --> 01:08:31.880
What do you waste the most money on? It's a
1326
01:08:31.920 --> 01:08:35.279
pretty good discussion that's happening on our Facebook page. My
1327
01:08:35.479 --> 01:08:38.840
contribution to that was impulse buys from online shopping. I'm
1328
01:08:38.840 --> 01:08:42.560
would be rent? Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, what do you
1329
01:08:42.680 --> 01:08:45.680
waste the most money on? Rent? For sure? Pole question
1330
01:08:45.800 --> 01:08:48.279
this morning? Do you drive with your hazard lights on
1331
01:08:48.560 --> 01:08:50.239
in the hard rain? The pole question is on the
1332
01:08:50.560 --> 01:08:53.720
X at Rod Ryan Show. Do you drive with your
1333
01:08:53.760 --> 01:08:56.319
hazard lights on in the hard rain? Seventy two percent
1334
01:08:56.359 --> 01:08:58.920
of you say no, ten percent of you say yes,
1335
01:08:59.520 --> 01:09:02.640
almost eighteen percent of you say sometimes. We found out
1336
01:09:02.680 --> 01:09:07.279
this morning. That's what a most big like dislikes in
1337
01:09:07.399 --> 01:09:07.880
this world.
1338
01:09:09.000 --> 01:09:11.239
There aren't even words to describe how mad I am
1339
01:09:11.399 --> 01:09:12.399
just hearing you say it.
1340
01:09:12.600 --> 01:09:16.159
Because you don't know, I'll make it worse. How about
1341
01:09:16.239 --> 01:09:18.359
driving with your hazard lights on in the far left
1342
01:09:18.439 --> 01:09:22.800
lane that straight at least be in the far right
1343
01:09:22.920 --> 01:09:23.760
lane if you're going to.
1344
01:09:23.800 --> 01:09:27.119
Do this off the roads, if you're uncomfortable driving.
1345
01:09:27.279 --> 01:09:29.800
But we also have talked to police officers. Apparently not
1346
01:09:30.000 --> 01:09:31.800
illegal to drive with your hazard lights.
1347
01:09:31.840 --> 01:09:34.439
We're working on it, me and the government. We're working
1348
01:09:34.479 --> 01:09:34.640
on it.
1349
01:09:34.760 --> 01:09:37.720
The problem is we don't know. Don't switch lanes because
1350
01:09:37.720 --> 01:09:40.079
we don't know where you're going. Yeah, crazy, Do not
1351
01:09:40.239 --> 01:09:40.920
switch lanes?
1352
01:09:41.159 --> 01:09:42.279
You a crazy person.
1353
01:09:43.119 --> 01:09:45.720
We have talked a little bit about Ditch Day and
1354
01:09:46.279 --> 01:09:49.039
I can't believe and this is not on you, but
1355
01:09:49.359 --> 01:09:51.039
the twins have been here for a while.
1356
01:09:51.199 --> 01:09:51.760
What happened?
1357
01:09:51.920 --> 01:09:56.119
Nobody asked if for doing the tater toss. You haven't
1358
01:09:56.279 --> 01:10:00.720
done it in the last two year. It's because you
1359
01:10:00.840 --> 01:10:03.319
get so drunk and then we should. No, no, no,
1360
01:10:03.600 --> 01:10:06.479
that's not me, not on me at all. I texted
1361
01:10:06.520 --> 01:10:08.960
Gunner and he has tater tots and he's going to
1362
01:10:09.000 --> 01:10:12.640
make us tots. We're doing the tater talks. We're talking
1363
01:10:12.640 --> 01:10:16.239
about right now. We're going to just eat tomorrow. It
1364
01:10:16.359 --> 01:10:22.680
got replaced last year by tossing around Tessa's implants. We did,
1365
01:10:23.119 --> 01:10:25.279
but we did. But we did the tater talt Toss
1366
01:10:25.359 --> 01:10:27.760
two years ago and we did it at Lucky's Pub
1367
01:10:27.800 --> 01:10:30.479
West all those years. So we have done the tater
1368
01:10:30.600 --> 01:10:35.039
tot toss before, correct, But we didn't do it last
1369
01:10:35.119 --> 01:10:38.800
year because it was the implants used to go agenda. Right,
1370
01:10:38.920 --> 01:10:41.520
we did one of those things we will be doing.
1371
01:10:41.720 --> 01:10:45.680
I'm bringing other tickets with me to Ditch Day tomorrow.
1372
01:10:46.239 --> 01:10:48.520
Tater Tot Toss will be one of the games.
1373
01:10:48.720 --> 01:10:50.880
Anything I can prep for that well.
1374
01:10:50.880 --> 01:10:52.239
But you want to hop back in the kitchen make
1375
01:10:52.279 --> 01:10:54.399
the tots. That's fine, but they've got people for that.
1376
01:10:54.560 --> 01:10:57.039
So you'll be busy. You'll be busy, You'll be busy.
1377
01:10:57.119 --> 01:11:02.920
Sign belong Ditch Day tomorrow. Official start time is noon.
1378
01:11:03.520 --> 01:11:06.279
The official time for the party is noon to two.
1379
01:11:06.640 --> 01:11:09.920
Nobody's leaving it too, okay, but noon to two is
1380
01:11:09.920 --> 01:11:11.760
where you sign up for those Metallica tickets. And then
1381
01:11:11.800 --> 01:11:13.359
the one final thing and then I'll shut my mouth.
1382
01:11:15.920 --> 01:11:18.159
I've got Metallica tickets coming up for you. And read
1383
01:11:18.199 --> 01:11:20.479
my lips. It's mo Versus Alex. You know that this
1384
01:11:20.720 --> 01:11:24.319
is in the first five rows off the floor. Okay,
1385
01:11:24.560 --> 01:11:29.920
great seats, Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies. You will win a copy
1386
01:11:30.000 --> 01:11:33.800
of the newly remastered Load album, and I may ask
1387
01:11:33.840 --> 01:11:35.439
you to turn that into me. If you're the grand
1388
01:11:35.479 --> 01:11:38.319
prize winner, I will replace that with a limited edition,
1389
01:11:38.560 --> 01:11:42.000
numbered deluxe load box set. So all five of you
1390
01:11:42.119 --> 01:11:44.439
are in the drawing for that. We'll do the drawing tomorrow.
1391
01:11:45.279 --> 01:11:48.199
Not to be confused with the four pair of tickets
1392
01:11:48.239 --> 01:11:50.840
I'm adding tomorrow, these are just random seats, but they're
1393
01:11:50.880 --> 01:11:54.840
together seats. Every beer winner is gonna get Metallica tickets
1394
01:11:54.880 --> 01:11:57.079
tomorrow so that was my announcement, like right off the
1395
01:11:57.119 --> 01:12:01.520
beginning of the show. Okay, I'm sick of my own voice.
1396
01:12:01.960 --> 01:12:11.319
So much to do. Oh it's so busy, it's not
1397
01:12:11.560 --> 01:12:16.079
to read my lips. Take some last minute words. Email
1398
01:12:16.279 --> 01:12:19.520
me directly, Rod at the Buzz dot com.
1399
01:12:20.159 --> 01:12:20.319
Rod.
1400
01:12:20.359 --> 01:12:22.840
Can you even hear the music when you're singing? Yeah?
1401
01:12:22.920 --> 01:12:27.279
I can? All right, Mo, how you feeling wonderful?
1402
01:12:27.800 --> 01:12:30.600
Today's actually the worst at Alex when we started with
1403
01:12:30.680 --> 01:12:35.199
a tornado warning. You're talking about flashers, and now I'm
1404
01:12:35.560 --> 01:12:37.680
responsible for winning someone Metallica ticket.
1405
01:12:37.840 --> 01:12:40.800
Yeah, and the wrong kind of flash, not the fun flash, not.
1406
01:12:40.840 --> 01:12:41.720
The fun flashers.
1407
01:12:41.840 --> 01:12:45.159
All right, last minute word suggestions email me Rod at
1408
01:12:45.199 --> 01:12:46.479
the Buzz dot com, and then we're going to get
1409
01:12:46.520 --> 01:12:49.640
set up to get Moe and Alex ready to go
1410
01:12:49.800 --> 01:12:50.640
for Read my lips.
1411
01:12:51.199 --> 01:12:53.880
Train Your Dragon is the Adventure of the Summer in
1412
01:12:54.119 --> 01:12:59.720
theaters Friday. Get tickets now, Houston Anative.
1413
01:13:00.079 --> 01:13:02.560
And tell them of the Rod Ryan Morning Show ninety
1414
01:13:02.600 --> 01:13:05.359
four or five, The Buzz a Ride.
1415
01:13:05.279 --> 01:13:10.039
Welcome back everybody, eight twenty three. Man, I hope you're
1416
01:13:10.079 --> 01:13:11.920
off to a great start to your day. I know
1417
01:13:12.079 --> 01:13:15.199
that it's nasty outside and one hundred percent chance of
1418
01:13:15.279 --> 01:13:17.600
these pesky and the rain and the thunderstorms, and I
1419
01:13:17.640 --> 01:13:19.720
don't know, for some reason, the sun didn't get out
1420
01:13:19.760 --> 01:13:22.800
of bed today, so it's just dark together. It's just
1421
01:13:23.000 --> 01:13:26.119
dark outside. Yeah yeah, yeah, So sorry for the sun
1422
01:13:26.199 --> 01:13:29.479
over sleeping. But we hopefully will turn things around a
1423
01:13:29.520 --> 01:13:31.760
little bit. We've got your shot at some sold out
1424
01:13:31.800 --> 01:13:35.239
Metallica tickets coming up. I think you know what we're
1425
01:13:35.239 --> 01:13:37.319
getting ready to do here, but we'll fill you in
1426
01:13:37.399 --> 01:13:40.800
in just a moment. But first, Alex, you you did
1427
01:13:41.039 --> 01:13:46.840
mention her. The gal from MTV passed away yesterday, Lewis
1428
01:13:46.920 --> 01:13:50.600
and Nanda Lewis. She was in her fifties, like fifty two,
1429
01:13:51.239 --> 01:13:54.079
fifty two, yeah, and we don't know exactly why she
1430
01:13:54.199 --> 01:13:56.479
passed away, but she did yesterday, and it's super sad.
1431
01:13:56.920 --> 01:13:58.479
And I got two emails like Rod, this is a
1432
01:13:58.560 --> 01:14:01.760
huge part of my childhood. She was on MTV. So
1433
01:14:01.920 --> 01:14:07.039
many kids and different generations raised on MTV and she
1434
01:14:07.239 --> 01:14:11.079
was on all the time. So she passed away yesterday. Obviously,
1435
01:14:11.319 --> 01:14:13.960
you don't want to die when somebody bigger than you
1436
01:14:14.119 --> 01:14:17.880
passes away. Everyone's still talking about the Beach Boys today,
1437
01:14:17.920 --> 01:14:18.039
you know.
1438
01:14:18.680 --> 01:14:21.800
Sly though we had Sly and Nanda Lewis and Brian
1439
01:14:21.840 --> 01:14:22.840
Wilson's with three right.
1440
01:14:23.359 --> 01:14:25.920
If you're looking at the celebrities and famous people die
1441
01:14:25.960 --> 01:14:27.039
in threes, there is your three.
1442
01:14:27.279 --> 01:14:30.600
Yeah, her and Brian Wilson. That's all that I see
1443
01:14:30.640 --> 01:14:32.640
trending right now at the top day to that and
1444
01:14:32.720 --> 01:14:35.199
that air crash. But so Brian Wilson. I was also
1445
01:14:35.239 --> 01:14:38.720
gonna mention it too, But Nanda Lewis and Brian Wilson
1446
01:14:38.800 --> 01:14:39.840
passing away yesterday.
1447
01:14:39.960 --> 01:14:42.239
I was surprised how little I saw it yesterday. And
1448
01:14:42.560 --> 01:14:44.600
I thought she was a huge name too. I mean
1449
01:14:44.720 --> 01:14:46.840
she was much after I was. I was still watching
1450
01:14:46.960 --> 01:14:50.159
MTV when she was on, you know, she was at
1451
01:14:50.199 --> 01:14:52.319
the beach house and doing the news and all that.
1452
01:14:52.640 --> 01:14:54.279
She was a big part of a lot of people
1453
01:14:54.319 --> 01:14:57.880
growing up. I'm gonna be gutted whenever Carson goes Carson
1454
01:14:58.000 --> 01:14:58.319
is your guy?
1455
01:14:58.439 --> 01:14:58.600
Huh?
1456
01:14:58.800 --> 01:15:00.560
Carson daily every day after school.
1457
01:15:00.840 --> 01:15:03.760
The same thing this morning to Rob, He's like Carson.
1458
01:15:03.520 --> 01:15:08.359
Davis's, she said, Carson's my guy. I get mad when
1459
01:15:08.399 --> 01:15:10.239
people hate on him on his roll.
1460
01:15:10.279 --> 01:15:13.319
He's on right now vib all right, Yeah, he's a
1461
01:15:14.079 --> 01:15:16.239
music video every day after school.
1462
01:15:16.479 --> 01:15:17.439
Adam where his new Balunce.
1463
01:15:18.000 --> 01:15:20.720
He's doing just fine. Good because he's on the voice
1464
01:15:20.800 --> 01:15:21.159
right too.
1465
01:15:21.399 --> 01:15:23.760
Oh yeah, he does it all. He's busy.
1466
01:15:23.800 --> 01:15:26.039
Man US Open is trending.
1467
01:15:26.319 --> 01:15:28.960
The US Open tournament is in the first round at
1468
01:15:29.039 --> 01:15:31.079

01:16:44.359 --> 01:16:46.760

1502
01:17:19.479 --> 01:17:21.199
You are in a good mood today.
1503
01:17:21.319 --> 01:17:24.279
You know, it's just feel so good to be here
1504
01:17:24.560 --> 01:17:25.279
doing my job.
1505
01:17:25.760 --> 01:17:28.720
Yeah, because you lost the Metallica tickets for somebody last week,
1506
01:17:28.800 --> 01:17:30.399
so you don't have to do that two weeks. You
1507
01:17:30.439 --> 01:17:32.520
don't have to do that two weeks in a row. Nah,
1508
01:17:32.880 --> 01:17:34.520
MO is stressing horrible?
1509
01:17:34.880 --> 01:17:34.920
Mo?
1510
01:17:35.199 --> 01:17:36.680
Come on, I love this game.
1511
01:17:37.479 --> 01:17:38.039
No you don't.
1512
01:17:38.199 --> 01:17:41.279
You're right, Yeah, it's.
1513
01:17:41.920 --> 01:17:46.000
Time to read my lips let's see who's playing today, Parla,
1514
01:17:46.119 --> 01:17:49.520
good morning, Good morning for the rod. How are you
1515
01:17:50.840 --> 01:17:51.680
doing fabulous?
1516
01:17:51.800 --> 01:17:54.479
Now that I finally got through all welcome?
1517
01:17:54.680 --> 01:17:56.920
How important would it be for you to go see
1518
01:17:56.960 --> 01:17:59.560
Metallica on Saturday night? How big a deal were you?
1519
01:18:01.000 --> 01:18:01.039
Have?
1520
01:18:01.199 --> 01:18:03.479
No idea? I've never seen them in concert in I.
1521
01:18:03.560 --> 01:18:04.000
Need to go.
1522
01:18:04.600 --> 01:18:10.920
Okay, who's Alex or Mo? Who's who gives you the
1523
01:18:11.000 --> 01:18:12.920
best chance to get in there and make that dream
1524
01:18:13.000 --> 01:18:13.479
come true?
1525
01:18:15.079 --> 01:18:15.239
Oh?
1526
01:18:15.319 --> 01:18:17.920
You know it's gonna have to be Alex? Yeah, Dune,
1527
01:18:19.319 --> 01:18:19.840
poor girl?
1528
01:18:20.760 --> 01:18:24.800
All right? Well ezeki all good morning. Hey, good morning,
1529
01:18:24.880 --> 01:18:29.399
ron Ezekiel. Same question. How big a deal would it
1530
01:18:29.479 --> 01:18:31.279
be for you to go to that sold out Metallica
1531
01:18:31.319 --> 01:18:35.319
show on Saturday night? I'd be huge. I've never seen
1532
01:18:35.399 --> 01:18:37.560
them before, never thought I would actually show.
1533
01:18:37.760 --> 01:18:39.359
We got a couple of people that have never seen
1534
01:18:39.399 --> 01:18:41.439
the band before, and this is a dream come true
1535
01:18:41.520 --> 01:18:42.239
kind of concert.
1536
01:18:42.279 --> 01:18:44.880
I'm going to take a guess here, Moe is the
1537
01:18:44.960 --> 01:18:46.439
one that's trying to get you into the show.
1538
01:18:47.359 --> 01:18:50.399
Yeah, you didn't pick me, but you're stuck with me.
1539
01:18:50.920 --> 01:18:51.720
Well, I didn't say that.
1540
01:18:52.000 --> 01:18:52.159
I know.
1541
01:18:53.399 --> 01:18:57.680
I didn't say, Hey, Capable, I'd be happy for you
1542
01:18:57.720 --> 01:18:58.079
if you want.
1543
01:18:58.079 --> 01:18:58.560
I'm good at the.
1544
01:18:58.560 --> 01:19:05.640
Game, Ezekee old team Mo parla parla pearla, pearla perla.
1545
01:19:06.560 --> 01:19:09.399
Team Alex, Alex, you're the returning champion. You won Metallica
1546
01:19:09.439 --> 01:19:12.319
tickets for somebody last week? Oh did I yeah? I
1547
01:19:12.399 --> 01:19:18.920
almost forgot. They have a great time, chould. They crushed
1548
01:19:18.960 --> 01:19:22.720
somebody's dream last year. We would never I went to overtime.
1549
01:19:22.800 --> 01:19:24.920
It just happens that the cards didn't fall my way.
1550
01:19:24.960 --> 01:19:27.079
You want to go first or second, Alex, Well just
1551
01:19:27.119 --> 01:19:28.880
take the head phone from me. So I'm imagining that
1552
01:19:29.000 --> 01:19:30.920
means you want to go first? All right, then go first?
1553
01:19:30.920 --> 01:19:31.159
Thank you.
1554
01:19:33.680 --> 01:19:36.000
You see you'll take a look at the sky outside.
1555
01:19:36.119 --> 01:19:37.399
That's how you Saturday is going.
1556
01:19:37.319 --> 01:19:44.159
To look, okay, mo shuffling? Shuffling? Is that a fad
1557
01:19:44.199 --> 01:19:50.000
to black joke? Shuffling? I don't care who gets what words?
1558
01:19:51.119 --> 01:19:56.720
Okay they are all, all of them are fantastic. We're
1559
01:19:57.159 --> 01:19:59.479
at shuffling. That's a great job shuffling. Thank you.
1560
01:20:00.079 --> 01:20:02.239
You don't you should be working at a Sino show.
1561
01:20:02.319 --> 01:20:03.399
Like stress Up. I'm not that.
1562
01:20:05.279 --> 01:20:09.520
Mo is Now she looks focused, though the luck pal
1563
01:20:10.319 --> 01:20:12.520
notice that she didn't complain about putting the music on
1564
01:20:12.720 --> 01:20:14.000
or anything that they change.
1565
01:20:14.079 --> 01:20:14.880
She's changed.
1566
01:20:15.039 --> 01:20:16.640
She's just trying to bait us in.
1567
01:20:16.760 --> 01:20:22.600
And here we go, all right. Uh, Ezekiel, never seen Metallica.
1568
01:20:23.039 --> 01:20:26.640
Mo cannot hear me. And I'm coming out of the
1569
01:20:26.720 --> 01:20:31.359
gate Astley with an oh, it's trouble first word. Thumbs up,
1570
01:20:31.479 --> 01:20:31.960
thumbs up.
1571
01:20:32.560 --> 01:20:33.399
She's serious though.
1572
01:20:33.600 --> 01:20:36.119
There we go, twenty seconds on the clock. Please ready, sir.
1573
01:20:37.600 --> 01:20:49.039
Jungle Juice, Shocker Juice, jungle Juice, Shocker Jungle soccer, Jungle Juice.
1574
01:20:48.920 --> 01:20:54.279
Charlotte Juice, Jungle Juice, Shocker Juice, jungle Juice, stocked juice,
1575
01:20:54.640 --> 01:20:55.960
jungle Juice.
1576
01:20:56.119 --> 01:20:58.960
I think you're saying, shocker jungle.
1577
01:21:00.159 --> 01:21:05.079
Juice, time time, shocker. You brought her.
1578
01:21:07.079 --> 01:21:07.319
Help.
1579
01:21:07.399 --> 01:21:13.359
The chilis over here, kids. That's a good kids juice.
1580
01:21:14.279 --> 01:21:19.479
Jungle Juice. Jungle Juice said on the show, we were
1581
01:21:19.479 --> 01:21:21.039
talking about concert tailgating, right.
1582
01:21:21.159 --> 01:21:28.560
Yeah, used to do it in a tub. Yeah, good juice.
1583
01:21:30.399 --> 01:21:34.680
In the pink. What is that talking about? Here we
1584
01:21:34.760 --> 01:21:38.880
go donuts, all right, Ezekiel. Not not the start you wanted.
1585
01:21:40.159 --> 01:21:43.119
Here we go, Gus, Gus, you got plenty of time, Gus, Gus.
1586
01:21:43.199 --> 01:21:45.880
The party Bush sent this in. This sounds like he
1587
01:21:45.920 --> 01:21:47.680
wants some cry twenty seconds on the clock.
1588
01:21:48.399 --> 01:21:55.039
You got this thumbs up, thumbs up, slippery snake, slippery snake?
1589
01:21:55.159 --> 01:22:07.600
What gus gus? The party where my man's slippery serpiente.
1590
01:22:07.960 --> 01:22:09.720
I thought you weren't going to have any words. Let's
1591
01:22:09.720 --> 01:22:09.960
say that.
1592
01:22:10.079 --> 01:22:13.880
Snakes not not in the shout it out loud game.
1593
01:22:13.960 --> 01:22:17.880
Oh okay, because Alice can't handle it. I would have
1594
01:22:17.960 --> 01:22:24.720
got that one. All right, here we go, empty Adam.
1595
01:22:25.199 --> 01:22:27.640
They have to be an English Adam sent this one in.
1596
01:22:28.000 --> 01:22:38.439
Let's go, thumbs up, thumbs up. Good vibrations, good vibrations.
1597
01:22:44.720 --> 01:22:46.760
All I don't feeling those good.
1598
01:22:48.159 --> 01:22:50.039
I thought it was marketing, marketing, a funky bunch.
1599
01:22:50.920 --> 01:22:52.439
Oh yeah, okay, you can go that.
1600
01:22:52.840 --> 01:22:54.119
Yeah, feel the vibration.
1601
01:22:55.000 --> 01:22:55.039
Go.
1602
01:22:55.399 --> 01:22:56.880
Come on, that's my spring break.
1603
01:22:58.560 --> 01:22:59.760
You got to it's so loud.
1604
01:23:00.079 --> 01:23:00.560
You got two.
1605
01:23:04.359 --> 01:23:07.319
I hope I need you proud, really hard. It's really
1606
01:23:07.359 --> 01:23:07.720
hard to do.
1607
01:23:08.279 --> 01:23:14.720
Good luck, good all right, okay, thanks man, Alex Parla.
1608
01:23:15.279 --> 01:23:21.680
Your boy needs two to tie three to win. We
1609
01:23:21.800 --> 01:23:25.880
got a game yours. Because I'm scared that.
1610
01:23:25.920 --> 01:23:28.239
There's gonna be a tie breaker and I'm gonna have
1611
01:23:28.279 --> 01:23:29.760
to put those headphones back.
1612
01:23:29.600 --> 01:23:30.239
In my ears.
1613
01:23:30.479 --> 01:23:35.119
She does not like the valume that the music is at.
1614
01:23:36.600 --> 01:23:40.159
All right, don't stress yourself. Well, thank you, good shot,
1615
01:23:40.279 --> 01:23:40.720
good Joe.
1616
01:23:40.880 --> 01:23:42.880
I know he's your twin brother in all twenty seconds
1617
01:23:42.920 --> 01:23:43.399
on the clock.
1618
01:23:43.600 --> 01:23:46.039
Okay, I'm biased right now, he doesn't get any extra time.
1619
01:23:46.439 --> 01:23:49.640
I'm a fair guy, all right, Pearla, good luck to you.
1620
01:23:50.079 --> 01:23:51.520
Your boy looks like he's locked in.
1621
01:23:51.920 --> 01:23:53.239
I'm stern but fair.
1622
01:23:53.479 --> 01:23:56.079
He's got those baby blues looking right at me. All right.
1623
01:23:57.199 --> 01:23:58.359
You can't hear it.
1624
01:23:58.479 --> 01:23:59.079
He's focused.
1625
01:23:59.239 --> 01:24:00.960
Nobody can hear you. Oh, I heard you?
1626
01:24:01.840 --> 01:24:02.159
All right?
1627
01:24:02.720 --> 01:24:12.720
Thumbs up up. Booty tape again, booty tape, movie tape,
1628
01:24:13.279 --> 01:24:21.680
booty tape, booty tape. God, I'm sure he's talking about
1629
01:24:21.720 --> 01:24:24.199
friend on friend off Eli the booty tape. Yeah, he's
1630
01:24:24.239 --> 01:24:26.840
been taping the ladies booty tape.
1631
01:24:26.880 --> 01:24:29.199
Tomorrow I get to see it for the first time.
1632
01:24:29.479 --> 01:24:34.119
Taping like yeah, taping up the booties and cupcakes.
1633
01:24:34.520 --> 01:24:35.960
I just want to do the swiftly.
1634
01:24:38.960 --> 01:24:42.720
All right, here we go, Katie. Katie sent this one in.
1635
01:24:43.680 --> 01:24:47.479
I think she probably I think this was inspired by Mo.
1636
01:24:48.479 --> 01:24:51.000
I don't know if she wanted it to be Mo's word,
1637
01:24:51.079 --> 01:24:57.520
but now let's just getting it. Thumbs up out, rip snort,
1638
01:24:59.399 --> 01:25:08.279
stan rip snort, rib sort, ri rip snort, rip shorts,
1639
01:25:08.840 --> 01:25:17.720
ripped shorts, rip snort, rip snort, rip snorts, got it,
1640
01:25:19.439 --> 01:25:21.520
got it like one second left?
1641
01:25:25.359 --> 01:25:25.680
Got it?
1642
01:25:26.560 --> 01:25:31.800
Rip snort? You gotta sell a game? Who snorts on
1643
01:25:31.880 --> 01:25:32.199
the show?
1644
01:25:34.880 --> 01:25:36.239
It's real though, it's genuine.
1645
01:25:37.039 --> 01:25:37.840
I think it's funny.
1646
01:25:38.439 --> 01:25:40.199
Can't help it. I wish I could stop it.
1647
01:25:41.720 --> 01:25:43.840
Okay, we have a tie game.
1648
01:25:45.960 --> 01:25:46.760
I'm praying right now.
1649
01:25:46.800 --> 01:25:48.920
I want real talk. Are you okay? I want to
1650
01:25:49.000 --> 01:25:51.960
know what I know. Those prayers are internal? Do you
1651
01:25:52.039 --> 01:25:53.760
want him to win? So you don't.
1652
01:25:56.800 --> 01:25:57.000
Do that.
1653
01:25:58.319 --> 01:25:59.640
I'm wondering what you're praying for.
1654
01:25:59.720 --> 01:26:02.079
Over like Jesus, take the wheel.
1655
01:26:02.279 --> 01:26:03.119
Please don't let me go.
1656
01:26:03.319 --> 01:26:04.039
It will be done.
1657
01:26:04.880 --> 01:26:05.960
Okay, that's easy.
1658
01:26:06.079 --> 01:26:06.720
How he's feeling?
1659
01:26:07.760 --> 01:26:08.039
All right?
1660
01:26:08.079 --> 01:26:08.399
Here we go?
1661
01:26:08.600 --> 01:26:12.520
Oh jeez, Ezekiel, I tried really hard.
1662
01:26:12.720 --> 01:26:16.079
Pearla twenty seconds away finding out what's happening here. Paul
1663
01:26:16.159 --> 01:26:17.640
sent this word in twenty seconds on.
1664
01:26:17.680 --> 01:26:20.800
The clock, the most thumb twenty seconds of my life.
1665
01:26:23.119 --> 01:26:28.680
Concert Baby, Saian concert concert baby.
1666
01:26:29.119 --> 01:26:34.479
Oh you got it?
1667
01:26:38.159 --> 01:26:39.840
I find it as you get a game by everybody?
1668
01:26:40.239 --> 01:26:41.279
Concert Baby.
1669
01:26:42.279 --> 01:26:49.720

01:26:52.560 --> 01:26:53.399
We got a pair of tickets for.
1672
01:26:53.399 --> 01:26:55.640
You in the first five rows off the floor, so
1673
01:26:55.720 --> 01:26:59.119
you're seeing Metallica panter rasticidal tendencies.
1674
01:26:59.159 --> 01:27:02.000
It's a happening Saturday. Plus you've got a double vinyl
1675

Delexe load box set. Congratulations, I am shaking right now.
1678
01:27:14.479 --> 01:27:15.560
I'm so excited.
1679
01:27:15.800 --> 01:27:18.199
I'm excited for you. I'll see you out there on Saturday.
1680
01:27:18.239 --> 01:27:19.960
Okay, awesome.
1681
01:27:20.520 --> 01:27:24.039
Who is a Shockers over here throwing up the shocker
1682
01:27:24.800 --> 01:27:25.800
and I'm trying to focus?
1683
01:27:26.239 --> 01:27:26.640
That was it.
1684
01:27:30.279 --> 01:27:39.000
Said? I said focus. I think we'd better go to
1685
01:27:39.079 --> 01:27:46.439
a break right good game everybody, and The Rod Ryan
1686
01:27:46.520 --> 01:27:54.079
Morning Show, The Buzz nine, The Buzz Good Morning, rod
1687
01:27:54.159 --> 01:27:58.439
Ryan Show, Breaking Benjamin Throwback Thursday. I just took a
1688
01:27:58.680 --> 01:28:02.199
quick look. Stone Row is still in the lead over
1689
01:28:02.399 --> 01:28:05.600
Buck Cherry. I was surprised to see that those are
1690
01:28:05.640 --> 01:28:08.439
your people. Yeah, I wanted the Stone Roses song. Alex.
1691
01:28:08.560 --> 01:28:11.760
We never agree, we rarely agree. Sometimes we do, sometimes
1692
01:28:11.840 --> 01:28:17.199
we do. On Throwback Thursday, you vote on the world
1693
01:28:17.199 --> 01:28:19.199
famous Rod Ryan showpage at the buzz dot com. Look
1694
01:28:19.199 --> 01:28:22.000
at a girl's block page is huge today. Lots of birthdays.
1695
01:28:22.680 --> 01:28:25.880
Adriana Lima. Is she the most beautiful chick on the
1696
01:28:25.920 --> 01:28:27.640
planet ever? Maybe?
1697
01:28:27.800 --> 01:28:28.760
And aging so well?
1698
01:28:29.560 --> 01:28:36.520
Maybe so her birthday today? And then the other programming
1699
01:28:36.600 --> 01:28:39.720
note one guy eatmail. He said, dude, weren't you supposed
1700
01:28:39.720 --> 01:28:43.239
to have a world premiere of of twenty one pilots today?
1701
01:28:43.600 --> 01:28:46.920
I think somebody got their wires crossed. It's Jeremy's going
1702
01:28:46.960 --> 01:28:49.319
to have the world premiere, the true world premiere at
1703
01:28:49.319 --> 01:28:52.159
eleven o'clock today. He's going to bring you the brand
1704
01:28:52.199 --> 01:28:54.720
new song from twenty one Pilots. We'll give you a
1705
01:28:54.840 --> 01:28:56.840
spin of that, and I'll take the calls. We'll all
1706
01:28:56.880 --> 01:28:59.760
listen to it together. I'm not saying you can't listen ahead,
1707
01:28:59.800 --> 01:29:05.119
but we'll listen to it tomorrow at seven twenty. In
1708
01:29:05.239 --> 01:29:07.479
addition to everything else going on tomorrow. If you didn't
1709
01:29:07.560 --> 01:29:10.359
hear where have you been? I said, Free beer Friday.
1710
01:29:10.399 --> 01:29:12.479
All the beer winners are getting Metallica tickets tomorrow on
1711
01:29:12.560 --> 01:29:15.159
the show. So we'll still do the tickets that we're
1712
01:29:15.199 --> 01:29:17.399
doing in the first five rows off the floor, and
1713
01:29:17.560 --> 01:29:21.119
then in addition to that, I will give away a
1714
01:29:21.199 --> 01:29:23.720
pair of tickets with every case of beer. Okay, mo,
1715
01:29:23.960 --> 01:29:25.840
take it away. Houston's headlines, Yes.
1716
01:29:25.720 --> 01:29:29.960
Sir, closely following the weather today. It's still so dark outside.
1717
01:29:30.000 --> 01:29:33.039
I just left rough commute this morning. We're seeing that
1718
01:29:33.479 --> 01:29:36.880
by all the traffic that is showing up. Severe thunderstorms,
1719
01:29:36.920 --> 01:29:40.239
gusty winds, isolated tornadoes and hay'll hit early this morning.
1720
01:29:40.560 --> 01:29:42.199
Everything's moving slowly.
1721
01:29:41.960 --> 01:29:43.479
And that is why we know.
1722
01:29:43.680 --> 01:29:46.840
We have a flood watch. It's been issued until seven pm.
1723
01:29:46.960 --> 01:29:50.479
Another issue, the flash flood warning, and that's expanding. It's
1724
01:29:50.520 --> 01:29:53.119
in Matta Gorda County, but it's been extended till eleven am.
1725
01:29:53.359 --> 01:29:55.880
If you're in that area, just know if you're driving
1726
01:29:55.920 --> 01:29:58.159
on the roads today, heavy rain is going to be
1727
01:29:58.199 --> 01:29:58.640
an issue.
1728
01:29:59.039 --> 01:30:00.439
Flash flooding ongoing.
1729
01:30:01.079 --> 01:30:01.840
Uh Rod.
1730
01:30:02.319 --> 01:30:04.600
Yeah, this next story I think you called. I'm giving
1731
01:30:04.600 --> 01:30:08.840
you all credit because the romance is back on. Didn't
1732
01:30:08.840 --> 01:30:12.399
even last week. Elon Musk and Trump they're back. Well,
1733
01:30:12.479 --> 01:30:13.680
we don't know if they're back together.
1734
01:30:14.880 --> 01:30:15.399
Is Elon?
1735
01:30:15.720 --> 01:30:17.399
Is he the one that's kind of crawfishing a little?
1736
01:30:17.640 --> 01:30:19.760
He said, I regret some of my posts about President
1737
01:30:19.800 --> 01:30:24.439
Trump last week. They went too far unquote. According to
1738
01:30:24.479 --> 01:30:26.279
The New York Times, the guys talked on the phone
1739
01:30:26.319 --> 01:30:26.840
Monday night.
1740
01:30:27.399 --> 01:30:28.960
Oh I didn't hear that part of the story. I
1741
01:30:29.000 --> 01:30:32.840
guess I was busy. Wow, they talked the neet, wrapping,
1742
01:30:32.880 --> 01:30:38.279
the quarter an, the fairything. No, I'm sorry. You're right.
1743
01:30:38.439 --> 01:30:39.520
I should have said that.
1744
01:30:40.000 --> 01:30:44.720
I want to know what happened on that phone call. Oh, well,
1745
01:30:45.159 --> 01:30:47.159
tell me how it went right. They'll tell us what
1746
01:30:47.279 --> 01:30:50.119
they what we want to hear. I always knew these
1747
01:30:50.119 --> 01:30:50.920
guys were getting.
1748
01:30:50.680 --> 01:30:50.920
Back to you.
1749
01:30:51.000 --> 01:30:52.800
You called it. That's why I gave you full credit.
1750
01:30:52.880 --> 01:30:55.680
It was all you can Anyone get me a Nintendo
1751
01:30:55.720 --> 01:30:59.800
switch To please, Nintendo's newest video game console, breaking all
1752
01:31:00.079 --> 01:31:03.079
the sales records. The switch To was released last week,
1753
01:31:03.119 --> 01:31:05.079
and it managed to rack up more than three point
1754
01:31:05.199 --> 01:31:08.640
five million units sold in just four days, making it
1755
01:31:08.760 --> 01:31:10.960
the fastest selling console in the history of the company
1756
01:31:11.079 --> 01:31:15.079
and the fastest selling game console of all time. Only
1757
01:31:15.159 --> 01:31:17.520
retails for about four fifty alex.
1758
01:31:18.640 --> 01:31:19.039
What is it?
1759
01:31:19.520 --> 01:31:21.560
Is it just like a handheld game. You can also
1760
01:31:22.279 --> 01:31:24.600
pull the sides apart and then play it on the
1761
01:31:24.920 --> 01:31:25.640
TV if you want.
1762
01:31:25.840 --> 01:31:27.640
Can you play newer games on it too? Or is
1763
01:31:27.640 --> 01:31:29.560
it just like Mario Kart. You can pay. There's a
1764
01:31:29.600 --> 01:31:31.720
new Mario Kart, you can play it. Okay, it does
1765
01:31:31.800 --> 01:31:32.239
have a new.
1766
01:31:32.159 --> 01:31:34.079
Games Okay, four hundred and fifty.
1767
01:31:34.119 --> 01:31:36.800
Do you want one? I'm not offering no.
1768
01:31:38.720 --> 01:31:40.279
Daddy just wanted to buy you one.
1769
01:31:40.760 --> 01:31:42.560
Sounded like I was going to buy everybody one. No,
1770
01:31:42.680 --> 01:31:45.560
but is this something that you covet No? Okay, pay
1771
01:31:46.079 --> 01:31:47.079
no console guy.
1772
01:31:47.840 --> 01:31:50.840
We got more details yesterday regarding the animated Stranger Things
1773
01:31:50.880 --> 01:31:53.359
spin off that's in the works from Netflix. It's called
1774
01:31:53.560 --> 01:31:56.600
Tales from eighty five. It's going to air sometime next year.
1775
01:31:56.880 --> 01:31:59.000
It takes place in the winter between seasons two and
1776
01:31:59.119 --> 01:32:02.920
three of the original series, and it'll feature the original characters.
1777
01:32:02.560 --> 01:32:03.239
Plus a new one.
1778
01:32:03.640 --> 01:32:06.640
The fifth and final season of the actual Stranger Things
1779
01:32:06.720 --> 01:32:08.840
is being released in three parts later this year, between
1780
01:32:08.880 --> 01:32:09.640
Thanksgiving and.
1781
01:32:09.960 --> 01:32:10.600
New Year's Eve.
1782
01:32:11.479 --> 01:32:15.840
Papa Roach fans Jacoby Shaddocks is spilling the tea. He
1783
01:32:15.920 --> 01:32:18.760
says the band quote has about five maybe six finished
1784
01:32:18.800 --> 01:32:21.039
songs for the follow up to twenty twenty two's Ego
1785
01:32:21.119 --> 01:32:24.640
Trip album, and they are racing to complete more. No
1786
01:32:24.800 --> 01:32:29.199
release date, but more tea came when he said surprise
1787
01:32:29.560 --> 01:32:31.479
guests that he won't name.
1788
01:32:31.960 --> 01:32:33.640
Well, maybe he met a bunch of new people.
1789
01:32:33.720 --> 01:32:34.039
I don't know.
1790
01:32:34.600 --> 01:32:38.399
Did you guys in the country space play the collab
1791
01:32:38.520 --> 01:32:40.359
between them and Carrie Underwood?
1792
01:32:40.920 --> 01:32:42.319
No, but I remember seeing that.
1793
01:32:42.520 --> 01:32:44.199
I wonder if he met like a bunch of new people.
1794
01:32:44.279 --> 01:32:48.000
Now that he's pals with Carrie. You think, I'm telling
1795
01:32:48.079 --> 01:32:50.239
you if there's something about country, if there's going to
1796
01:32:50.279 --> 01:32:53.079
be a special guest on there, for the love of God,
1797
01:32:53.720 --> 01:32:55.399
Jelly rolls on everyone speed dial.
1798
01:32:57.199 --> 01:32:59.279
But Carrie on would be unique.
1799
01:33:00.000 --> 01:33:02.279
He's already worked with her. But I'm thinking that he
1800
01:33:02.359 --> 01:33:05.159
has opened the door to country artists. And who did
1801
01:33:05.199 --> 01:33:10.680
he meet? Vias? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm wondering if it'll
1802
01:33:10.680 --> 01:33:11.520
be my guest.
1803
01:33:11.680 --> 01:33:13.920
I write this down Loves Predictions.
1804
01:33:13.960 --> 01:33:15.800
My prediction is it'll be somebody in the country space.
1805
01:33:16.000 --> 01:33:23.000
Those are Houston headlines, Party Party, I Love Who Lord
1806
01:33:23.119 --> 01:33:25.079
Georgia Line, Morgan Wallens.
1807
01:33:24.760 --> 01:33:28.920
Bordia Georgia Line does not exist anymore? What they broke off? Allen, No,
1808
01:33:29.439 --> 01:33:30.720
I'm really sorry for your loss.
1809
01:33:31.239 --> 01:33:34.119
Maybe Papa Roach doesn't cover of the rue Chattahoochee.
1810
01:33:34.800 --> 01:33:39.640
Oh yeah, all right, what you got over there? The
1811
01:33:39.760 --> 01:33:41.680
Astros got to win last night. They blew out the
1812
01:33:41.800 --> 01:33:44.520
White Sox ten to too. Christian Walker had a had
1813
01:33:44.560 --> 01:33:46.520
four RBI in the game for this Drogs. They're gona
1814
01:33:46.520 --> 01:33:49.279
wrap up their series with Chicago tonight. Framer Valdes is
1815
01:33:49.279 --> 01:33:50.680
going to be on the mound for Houston going up
1816
01:33:50.680 --> 01:33:53.399
against the White Sox. Davis Martin first pitches at seven
1817
01:33:53.399 --> 01:33:54.520
to ten, and you can listen to the game on
1818
01:33:54.560 --> 01:33:57.199
our sister stations, Sports Talk seven ninety your News Radio
1819
01:33:57.279 --> 01:34:00.880
seven forty k t RH. In basketball, the Pacers beat
1820
01:34:00.920 --> 01:34:03.439
the Thunder last night one sixteen to one oh seven
1821
01:34:03.479 --> 01:34:05.439
in Game three of the NBA Finals. They now lead
1822
01:34:05.479 --> 01:34:07.800
the series two games to one and they're gonna play
1823
01:34:07.840 --> 01:34:11.279
Game four tomorrow night. In hockey, we got Game four
1824
01:34:11.479 --> 01:34:14.039
of the Stanley Cup Final tonight between the Panthers and Oilers.
1825
01:34:14.279 --> 01:34:16.239
Florida is up tow to one in that one. That's
1826
01:34:16.279 --> 01:34:17.880
gonna start at seven o'clock and you can watch it
1827
01:34:17.960 --> 01:34:21.399
on TNT and True TV. And it is Day one
1828
01:34:21.640 --> 01:34:25.239
of the US Open in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. World number one
1829
01:34:25.359 --> 01:34:27.880
golfer Scottie Scheffler is the favorite to win the event.
1830
01:34:28.199 --> 01:34:28.600
Right now.
1831
01:34:28.760 --> 01:34:32.680
We've got JJ spawn as the current leader at four
1832
01:34:32.840 --> 01:34:33.319
under par.
1833
01:34:33.640 --> 01:34:35.159
That is what's going on in sports?
1834
01:34:35.399 --> 01:34:35.720
All right?
1835
01:34:35.760 --> 01:34:36.680
Back to that hockey game.
1836
01:34:37.680 --> 01:34:41.000
Yeah, fine, that's to night right, Yes, okay.
1837
01:34:41.640 --> 01:34:46.680
What time hockey seven? Yes, we'll still be awake. Whoa
1838
01:34:47.760 --> 01:34:49.840
great about the first half of the first period. Let's
1839
01:34:49.920 --> 01:34:52.920
go all right, we're listen. I have Struts Dirty Honey
1840
01:34:52.960 --> 01:34:55.159
tickets coming up for you in about ten minutes. I've
1841
01:34:55.159 --> 01:34:57.840
got Voldeat Hailstorm tickets for you on Know the Show.
1842
01:34:58.239 --> 01:35:01.239
We'll present to you the winning song for Throwback Thursday,
1843
01:35:01.319 --> 01:35:03.159
and I don't know about a million other things. I
1844
01:35:03.199 --> 01:35:07.319
got a jam into this last hour US Houston's Alternative
1845
01:35:07.399 --> 01:35:10.039
All Day and The Rock Ryan Morning Show.
1846
01:35:10.079 --> 01:35:11.840
Ninety five Buzz.
1847
01:35:13.279 --> 01:35:16.039
Okay, here we go, ninety four or five, The Buzz,
1848
01:35:16.159 --> 01:35:20.239
Good Morning Rod Ryan Show, Red Hot Chili Peppers nine
1849
01:35:20.279 --> 01:35:24.119
oh seven. Still nasty outside, it's still dark.
1850
01:35:24.199 --> 01:35:25.560
There's no size so.
1851
01:35:25.760 --> 01:35:31.680
Bad man, chance of thunderstorms, just a skanky day, so not.
1852
01:35:32.039 --> 01:35:34.359
I mean, it's gonna keep it cooler outside. That's really
1853
01:35:34.439 --> 01:35:38.359
about the only upside that I see. Somebody asked, what
1854
01:35:38.760 --> 01:35:41.359
was the overtime word today? Well, we didn't need it
1855
01:35:42.039 --> 01:35:46.119
for read my lips, overtime word puppet master. It just
1856
01:35:46.199 --> 01:35:49.199
happened to be sitting out here. Metallica has a song
1857
01:35:49.479 --> 01:35:52.880
master of puppets and an album master of puppets. Did
1858
01:35:52.920 --> 01:35:56.680
we use this before though, you mayn I don't remember
1859
01:35:56.720 --> 01:35:58.640
they held doing yet. Yeah, I don't remember if we'd
1860
01:35:58.720 --> 01:36:00.960
used this already, so I was I was saving it
1861
01:36:01.560 --> 01:36:04.960
for an overtime word we gave away the Metallica tickets
1862
01:36:05.399 --> 01:36:08.039
sold out Saturday. Oh you know what, I just I
1863
01:36:08.119 --> 01:36:10.319
thought i'd share this email. Somebody had asked me for
1864
01:36:10.399 --> 01:36:14.199
the set times, Sondra. Saundra, I'm saying it right. I
1865
01:36:14.279 --> 01:36:18.239
believe doors are either opening tomorrow. I'm sorry. I keep
1866
01:36:18.279 --> 01:36:22.079
thinking Today's Friday Saturday sold out Metallica doors are either
1867
01:36:22.079 --> 01:36:24.399
of four or four thirty. Can't seem to really sure
1868
01:36:24.439 --> 01:36:28.920
that one up. Suicidal Tendencies at six, Pantera at seven,
1869
01:36:29.079 --> 01:36:32.079
Metallica hits the stage at eight thirty five. She said, Man,
1870
01:36:32.159 --> 01:36:33.720
thank you so much. Way back in the day, in
1871
01:36:33.760 --> 01:36:36.319
the late eighties, I know, I'm dating myself. I saw
1872
01:36:36.479 --> 01:36:40.479
Pantera at a club called Backstage No Way. Yeah, I
1873
01:36:40.560 --> 01:36:42.720
wonder if anybody else saw that. That of course would
1874
01:36:42.760 --> 01:36:44.800
have been the you know, the lineup with Dime and
1875
01:36:44.880 --> 01:36:48.720
his brother. She said, I've been a huge fans. I've
1876
01:36:48.760 --> 01:36:51.239
been a huge fan ever since. See y'all. See y'all
1877
01:36:51.680 --> 01:36:55.319
on Saturday. PS. Tell mo, I'm so damn happy she's
1878
01:36:55.359 --> 01:36:55.880
on the buzz.
1879
01:36:56.600 --> 01:36:57.279
That's so sweet.
1880
01:36:57.319 --> 01:37:00.239
I thought that was a nice thing. Yeah, she's like, hey,
1881
01:37:00.319 --> 01:37:02.039
you know what, you guys are doing pretty good. No,
1882
01:37:02.279 --> 01:37:05.359
I'm so damn happy, my girl that Moe is on
1883
01:37:05.479 --> 01:37:05.800
the buzz.
1884
01:37:05.960 --> 01:37:06.880
I appreciate you saying that.
1885
01:37:07.039 --> 01:37:11.840
That was a great thing. Alex buck Cherry back in
1886
01:37:11.880 --> 01:37:12.199
the lead.
1887
01:37:12.560 --> 01:37:14.840
Nice Alex's people.
1888
01:37:15.159 --> 01:37:18.479
Yeah, Now we got some votes pouring in for Throwback Thursday.
1889
01:37:18.520 --> 01:37:20.680
Buck Cherry lit up forty two percent of the vote.
1890
01:37:20.720 --> 01:37:23.920
Stone Roses Love Spreads that was my song forty percent
1891
01:37:23.960 --> 01:37:26.680
of the vote. And Eel's Nova Kine for the Soul.
1892
01:37:26.760 --> 01:37:29.439
It's a weird song, but it's cool. It's only got
1893
01:37:29.479 --> 01:37:32.000
seventeen percent of the vote. Whenny song is going to
1894
01:37:32.000 --> 01:37:38.920
be played at nine point thirty? What else? What else tomorrow?
1895
01:37:41.520 --> 01:37:44.399
Well he's right there. I might as well ask him, Chillie,
1896
01:37:44.439 --> 01:37:49.279
where are the where are there? Here's where it's gonna
1897
01:37:49.279 --> 01:37:52.720
get a little confusing. Okay, every day this week, for
1898
01:37:52.840 --> 01:37:54.520
the third week in a row. Now we're giving away
1899
01:37:54.560 --> 01:37:57.079
Metallica tickets Tomorrow is the last day we give away
1900
01:37:57.119 --> 01:38:00.279
tickets in the first five rows off the floor lore
1901
01:38:01.119 --> 01:38:04.720
for the sold out Metallica show. That person will score
1902
01:38:04.760 --> 01:38:07.800
a double vinyl copy of the newly remastered load album,
1903
01:38:07.800 --> 01:38:09.840
which is celebrating a big anniversary. I think it's twenty
1904
01:38:09.880 --> 01:38:13.960
five years. And then one of you, I'll snatch that
1905
01:38:14.079 --> 01:38:16.880
album out of your hands and I'll replace it with
1906
01:38:17.000 --> 01:38:19.800
a limited edition number deluxe load box set. This thing
1907
01:38:19.920 --> 01:38:24.000
is ridiculous, three hundred and one total tracks. So the
1908
01:38:24.079 --> 01:38:26.359
tickets that we we only thought we had five pair
1909
01:38:27.439 --> 01:38:30.479
this week, Chili, where are those Metallica tickets in the
1910
01:38:30.520 --> 01:38:32.399
first five rows off the floor going to be? What
1911
01:38:32.560 --> 01:38:34.279
time tomorrow?
1912
01:38:35.159 --> 01:38:37.720
We're gonna let people sweat, So we're gonna put them
1913
01:38:37.760 --> 01:38:39.760
in a nine five for not to show?
1914
01:38:39.840 --> 01:38:44.560
Okay, okay, all right, no the show now that was
1915
01:38:44.640 --> 01:38:46.399
for all the all the stuff that I had just mentioned.
1916
01:38:46.439 --> 01:38:47.880
So that means we gotta do a grand prize drawing
1917
01:38:47.880 --> 01:38:50.359
before we get out of here and upload them or
1918
01:38:50.520 --> 01:38:53.760
upgrade somebody to those that killer Deluxe load box set.
1919
01:38:55.039 --> 01:38:59.600
I have tickets now, I don't know where they are.
1920
01:39:00.199 --> 01:39:02.079
This isn't in that first five rows. This isn't for
1921
01:39:02.159 --> 01:39:04.079
the album. This isn't for any of that fun stuff,
1922
01:39:05.119 --> 01:39:08.960
but I did scrape together four pair of tickets to Metallica.
1923
01:39:09.079 --> 01:39:11.640
Every beer winner is going to get Metallica tickets tomorrow
1924
01:39:11.920 --> 01:39:16.199
on the show. Huge Day. It's a huge weekend. It's
1925
01:39:16.199 --> 01:39:18.680
a huge weekend. And if you didn't, I know the
1926
01:39:18.720 --> 01:39:21.760
Blood Drive. The blood people contacted us and said, man,
1927
01:39:21.760 --> 01:39:23.760
thanks for mentioning that. But we are out of those
1928
01:39:23.920 --> 01:39:26.680
Metallica t shirts for the Blood Drive, but they're still
1929
01:39:27.239 --> 01:39:30.279
pop up shop. We should probably repost that link Chili
1930
01:39:30.520 --> 01:39:32.319
pop up. We'll do it tomorrow. We'll pop up, pop
1931
01:39:32.439 --> 01:39:34.920
up shop, the movie, all of that before the show.
1932
01:39:35.159 --> 01:39:40.760
It's a Metallica weekend here in Houston. All right, today
1933
01:39:40.840 --> 01:39:41.239
flew by.
1934
01:39:41.640 --> 01:39:43.439
There's just a lot. But I think you handled it well.
1935
01:39:43.479 --> 01:39:45.800
Around it's a lot. I mean we handled it well.
1936
01:39:46.119 --> 01:39:48.439
We handled it well. Here's some tickets over there, I do.
1937
01:39:48.720 --> 01:39:49.079
What do you go?
1938
01:39:50.039 --> 01:39:52.000
I have a pair of tickets to see the Struts
1939
01:39:52.399 --> 01:39:54.600
with Dirty Honey. They're going to hear September twenty fifth
1940

summer in theaters Friday.

1949
01:40:16.800 --> 01:40:23.359
Buzz okay, welcome back everybody. I told you about the
1950
01:40:23.439 --> 01:40:25.880
girl that emailed who said she's so damn happy you're
1951
01:40:25.920 --> 01:40:27.840
on the show. Yes, she shared with us, she said,
1952
01:40:27.880 --> 01:40:30.039
even though it's shown my age I saw. She said
1953
01:40:30.079 --> 01:40:32.920
she saw Pantera at a club. The club was called
1954
01:40:33.000 --> 01:40:36.760
back back Stage. Yes, back in the day. She didn't
1955
01:40:36.760 --> 01:40:40.720
give me a year. Missy says, I also was at
1956
01:40:40.840 --> 01:40:44.680
backstage for Pantera. So cool. She also goes on to
1957
01:40:44.680 --> 01:40:47.479
say her one and only Metallica show Monsters of Rock,
1958
01:40:47.560 --> 01:40:49.359
which I did mention this week on the show that
1959
01:40:49.479 --> 01:40:52.119
was nineteen eighty eight in the summer of it played
1960
01:40:52.199 --> 01:40:56.520
Rice Stadium here Van Halen, Scorpions doc in Kingdom come
1961
01:40:57.319 --> 01:41:01.079
and Metallica like opened up. They weren't even they were
1962
01:41:01.079 --> 01:41:02.920
like maybe the second or third band. They were just
1963
01:41:02.960 --> 01:41:05.720
a baby band. In eighty eight fire Truck Spray and
1964
01:41:05.760 --> 01:41:08.520
all the people, it was so hot, crazy. They did
1965
01:41:08.560 --> 01:41:11.359
the same thing in Buffalo, and then I've been texting
1966
01:41:11.439 --> 01:41:14.359
back and forth with Gunner this morning. Gunner runs all
1967
01:41:14.600 --> 01:41:19.600
like what we call the Creek Group Onion Creek, Cactus Cove,
1968
01:41:19.920 --> 01:41:22.680
all of those bars, he runs them all. He said,
1969
01:41:22.960 --> 01:41:28.159
I was awesome at backstage and saw Pantera. The club
1970
01:41:28.279 --> 01:41:31.359
was on Bissinett and Southwest Freeway back in the day.
1971
01:41:31.359 --> 01:41:33.399
He said, a lot of bands came through there. That's
1972
01:41:33.640 --> 01:41:36.800
so cool. So a lot of people seeing Pantera for
1973
01:41:36.880 --> 01:41:39.680
the first time in a long time. Opening up. I
1974
01:41:39.720 --> 01:41:42.359
got a feeling people are gonna get in early. Pantera
1975
01:41:42.479 --> 01:41:46.439
goes on stage at seven. Suicidal Tendencies will be on
1976
01:41:46.520 --> 01:41:49.680
an hour before that at six. Metallica goes on at
1977
01:41:49.680 --> 01:41:50.159
a thirty.
1978
01:41:51.000 --> 01:41:58.600
All right, Tomline, Kid's flicks Online five the most Alex.
1979
01:41:58.640 --> 01:42:00.640
Do you mind if I take a quick call. Okay,
1980
01:42:00.760 --> 01:42:03.159
I'm supposed to give away these these tickets. Good morning.
1981
01:42:03.479 --> 01:42:03.800
Who's this?
1982
01:42:05.920 --> 01:42:06.880
This is Michael, who's there?
1983
01:42:07.439 --> 01:42:07.560
Hi?
1984
01:42:07.720 --> 01:42:11.920
My name is My name is Rodney Ryan, Michael. I'm sorry.
1985
01:42:12.000 --> 01:42:14.000
I got talking about old concerts and stuff and I
1986
01:42:14.079 --> 01:42:15.119
forgot thisiscent.
1987
01:42:15.199 --> 01:42:18.880
We were giving away tickets. Struts, Dirty Honey, September twenty fifth, Dude.
1988
01:42:18.720 --> 01:42:21.399
You want them? All right? All right?
1989
01:42:21.880 --> 01:42:23.960
Yeah, all right, bro? Thank you. And then I think
1990
01:42:24.479 --> 01:42:26.800
here's what's gonna happen. There's gonna be a guy in
1991
01:42:26.800 --> 01:42:30.039
the radio twenty years from now, and Michael's gonna send
1992
01:42:30.079 --> 01:42:31.399
that guy an email and say, you know what, I
1993
01:42:31.439 --> 01:42:33.399
saw him, Dirty Honey back at the House of Blues.
1994
01:42:33.880 --> 01:42:36.359
I won tickets from this station, and then the House
1995
01:42:36.560 --> 01:42:38.239
Dirty Honey might be one of these bands that play
1996
01:42:38.279 --> 01:42:40.600
stadiums down the road. Man, they're gonna be great, They're
1997
01:42:40.600 --> 01:42:43.920
gonna be huge. Michael, have a great time, Michael, I
1998
01:42:44.000 --> 01:42:46.159
agree with you. Go ahead, Alex, all right.
1999
01:42:46.239 --> 01:42:46.399
Day.

01:42:46.640 --> 01:42:48.520
Well, it's called TV houses, and you're gonna be looking
2001
01:42:48.520 --> 01:42:50.760
at a bunch of houses from different TV shows and China.
2002
01:42:50.800 --> 01:42:51.640
See if you compare them.
2003
01:42:51.720 --> 01:42:53.560
Oh, I'm gonna be so good at that show they
2004
01:42:53.640 --> 01:42:53.960
were from.
2005
01:42:54.039 --> 01:42:59.880
This is a pretty easy one, that the Brady Bunch House,
2006
01:43:00.039 --> 01:43:01.399
and there's a bunch of other easier you know.
2007
01:43:01.439 --> 01:43:04.000
This one's gotta be family guy.
2008
01:43:04.199 --> 01:43:05.159
All right, two for two.
2009
01:43:05.880 --> 01:43:07.720
Wow, go check it out and see if you can
2010
01:43:07.760 --> 01:43:09.600
pare out these TV houses to look famous.
2011
01:43:09.600 --> 01:43:16.199

01:43:36.720 --> 01:43:40.680

2017
01:43:40.680 --> 01:43:42.319
make sure that we get all the votes in for
2018
01:43:43.760 --> 01:43:48.359
for the winner of Throwback Thursday. It was close last
2019
01:43:48.399 --> 01:43:52.359
time I checked. I'm going to refresh one final time.
2020

01:46:25.520 --> 01:46:29.159
Racked the dumboat, the curious girl because she's weighed down.
2049
01:46:29.800 --> 01:46:34.840
She's been weighed down, the trouble line boat of venus

01:46:35.039 --> 01:46:36.680
man because he wants one.
2051

You know you know you got them? Can you feel it?
2052
01:46:41.319 --> 01:46:42.720
Can you feel it tonight?
2053
01:46:43.000 --> 01:46:45.119
Are you well alone? Tell me?
2054
01:46:45.239 --> 01:46:46.119
How are you kidding?
2055
01:46:47.800 --> 01:46:48.600
Can a moment?
2056
01:46:48.720 --> 01:46:50.159
She wants you so right?
2057
01:46:50.600 --> 01:46:51.520
You rattle.
2058
01:46:52.840 --> 01:46:53.239
Rattler.
2059
01:46:54.119 --> 01:47:02.479
I guess I'm all again. All the downs, Yes, I'm.
2060
01:47:03.920 --> 01:47:10.079
Damn. I love that doping. I love that dog. I'll
2061
01:47:10.159 --> 01:47:10.399
tell you.
2062
01:47:11.800 --> 01:47:14.720
I'll tell you I love that Chalca.
2063
01:47:15.119 --> 01:47:20.159
I love that jock. I'll get you, I'll get you away.
2064
01:47:34.159 --> 01:47:57.079
No, hey, I'm not made up money. What am I
2065
01:47:57.159 --> 01:47:57.800
a money tree.
2066
01:47:57.960 --> 01:47:59.319
I just need Bill Dad.
2067
01:47:59.239 --> 01:48:04.439
National Banker, Ron Ryan Show Sho.
2068
01:48:07.319 --> 01:48:08.079
Go Bus.
2069
01:48:09.359 --> 01:48:11.760
Ninety four to five to Bus Gorilla Is with Dala
2070
01:48:11.880 --> 01:48:15.960
Soul and feel Good Ink. Good Morning brought Ryan's show
2071
01:48:17.680 --> 01:48:24.039
throw back Thursday. Before that, Buck Cherry lit up great song, Alex, congratulations,
2072
01:48:24.159 --> 01:48:26.600
Thank you. That's two weeks in a row you won,
2073
01:48:26.720 --> 01:48:29.600
read my lips and got your dumb song played. I
2074
01:48:29.680 --> 01:48:33.720
didn't make a long I like the song. I love it.
2075
01:48:33.800 --> 01:48:35.960
I just I really wanted that Stone Roses. I was
2076
01:48:36.399 --> 01:48:38.560
really surprised it was leading for a short period of
2077
01:48:38.640 --> 01:48:40.960
time today on the show. But thank you guys so
2078
01:48:41.079 --> 01:48:45.039
much for voting and getting involved. I mean, we were
2079
01:48:45.439 --> 01:48:47.840
kind of everywhere today. I don't know. Sometimes maybe I
2080
01:48:47.920 --> 01:48:51.199
spread ourselves a little too thin. In the morning, I
2081
01:48:51.399 --> 01:48:53.600
was asked to put up a pole question this morning,
2082
01:48:53.640 --> 01:48:55.640
do you drive with your hazard lights on in this
2083
01:48:55.800 --> 01:49:00.560
hard rain? Seventy three percent of our audience says no, yes,
2084
01:49:01.359 --> 01:49:06.560
seventeen percent say sometimes, And then to see Moe go off,
2085
01:49:06.760 --> 01:49:07.319
no stop.
2086
01:49:07.399 --> 01:49:08.680
Why are you doing this to me? I don't want
2087
01:49:08.680 --> 01:49:09.159
to talk about it.
2088
01:49:09.279 --> 01:49:09.880
I know you don't.
2089
01:49:10.399 --> 01:49:12.560
It's just when if you drive with your flashes on,
2090
01:49:12.920 --> 01:49:13.920
I hate you I like this.
2091
01:49:14.119 --> 01:49:18.319
That's your not returned. That's Alex's version of Alexis.
2092
01:49:18.439 --> 01:49:20.399
Is known for hating people that don't return to the
2093
01:49:20.439 --> 01:49:22.880
shopping go fired up like that's dumb.
2094
01:49:23.079 --> 01:49:26.479
The hazard lights stop doing it, it's not safe.
2095
01:49:26.880 --> 01:49:29.279
Wow. And the thing you're just not gonna make it.
2096
01:49:29.800 --> 01:49:34.399
She's not gonna make it. Just to add to the
2097
01:49:34.520 --> 01:49:39.439
mix of everything else that's going on, Todd Monster Jam
2098
01:49:39.600 --> 01:49:42.279
ticket pre sale stop, I don't have time for This
2099
01:49:42.640 --> 01:49:45.960
is happening today right time at ten am. Nice the
2100
01:49:46.039 --> 01:49:49.640
Monster Jam ticket pre sale. That means it's coming back
2101
01:49:49.720 --> 01:49:51.680
to town and we're not gonna make you wait until
2102
01:49:51.680 --> 01:49:54.920
the new year. This this October show is a regular
2103
01:49:55.000 --> 01:49:56.840
thing for us now and the Rob Ryan Show. Monster
2104
01:49:56.920 --> 01:50:00.800
Jam Truck will be performing. Mark your calendars Energy Stadium
2105
01:50:00.880 --> 01:50:04.239
October eighteenth. If you didn't hear about it yet, I
2106
01:50:04.319 --> 01:50:05.920
know my kid will be excited. Have you taken your
2107
01:50:06.000 --> 01:50:07.119
kids to Monster Jam yet?
2108
01:50:07.279 --> 01:50:07.600
Not yet?
2109
01:50:07.640 --> 01:50:09.439
This will be their first time. They're very excited, so
2110
01:50:09.520 --> 01:50:09.800
they are.
2111
01:50:09.760 --> 01:50:11.880
Going to go. Yes, then you got to make the decision.
2112
01:50:11.960 --> 01:50:14.119
Do they go down to the pit beforehand. We'll be
2113
01:50:14.199 --> 01:50:16.239
down there. It's just a long it's just a long
2114
01:50:16.319 --> 01:50:18.960
ass day. Yeah, you know, and you got little littles.
2115
01:50:18.720 --> 01:50:19.439
They're very little.
2116
01:50:19.880 --> 01:50:22.479
I'm gonna go with no but for them to see
2117
01:50:22.520 --> 01:50:25.680
the trucks and walk the track and meet the drivers,
2118
01:50:25.720 --> 01:50:29.920
and the truck's up up close and everything. Yeah, it's
2119
01:50:30.000 --> 01:50:31.800
just one of those decisions that we talked about today
2120
01:50:31.800 --> 01:50:34.000
on the show. Some guy wanted to bring his toddler
2121
01:50:34.479 --> 01:50:38.399
to Metallica, and everybody was real respectful on the show.
2122
01:50:39.239 --> 01:50:41.079
That's not the case with all the emails that I
2123
01:50:41.119 --> 01:50:42.199
received in some of the calls.
2124
01:50:42.600 --> 01:50:44.079
But it's your kid.
2125
01:50:44.159 --> 01:50:44.800
You do what you want.
2126
01:50:45.319 --> 01:50:47.079
Ultimately, you're a kid, you're the parents.
2127
01:50:47.439 --> 01:50:49.800
Did I say that. I thought it was a great idea.
2128
01:50:49.880 --> 01:50:51.439
I just don't think the kid's going to stay awake.
2129
01:50:52.560 --> 01:50:54.479
You know what time do you plan on getting there?
2130
01:50:54.560 --> 01:50:56.880
Same thing with Monster Jam, Right, it's a great idea
2131
01:50:56.920 --> 01:50:59.279
to bring toddlers and kids to Monster Jam. Does one
2132
01:50:59.319 --> 01:51:00.760
of them stay awake during the whole thing?
2133
01:51:00.920 --> 01:51:00.960
No?
2134
01:51:02.119 --> 01:51:05.640
No, even with the loud. I mean, if you've got
2135
01:51:05.720 --> 01:51:07.279
seats and you're gonna bring a toddler, and if that
2136
01:51:07.479 --> 01:51:09.399
kid falls asleep in the seat during Metallica and you
2137
01:51:09.439 --> 01:51:12.520
can still enjoy yourself, then knock yourself out. Power to Yeah, kids,
2138
01:51:12.560 --> 01:51:13.880
can fall asleep during Metallica.
2139
01:51:14.399 --> 01:51:15.600
That's a very expensive nap.
2140
01:51:15.840 --> 01:51:20.079
I can fall asleep during metallic Yeah yeah, all right?
2141
01:51:20.119 --> 01:51:22.199

question about something that was talked about today on the program.
2155
01:52:06.920 --> 01:52:08.560
What you're doing, Brad.
2156
01:52:08.640 --> 01:52:10.439
Isn't there a rule that we don't text our friends
2157
01:52:10.479 --> 01:52:11.840
before a certain time in the morning?
2158
01:52:13.199 --> 01:52:16.119
Yeah, yeah, there is. I've broken that rule before.
2159
01:52:16.159 --> 01:52:17.560
What time did you text Gunner this morning?
2160
01:52:17.640 --> 01:52:19.319
Oh? I did text Gunner today. He was up.
2161
01:52:19.720 --> 01:52:22.680
That's good. He was hests his heart. He's a late
2162
01:52:22.760 --> 01:52:23.359
that kind of guy.
2163
01:52:23.880 --> 01:52:24.000
Was it?
2164
01:52:24.119 --> 01:52:25.000
Seven thirty five?
2165
01:52:25.439 --> 01:52:26.439
Seven six?
2166
01:52:26.760 --> 01:52:26.920
Here?
2167
01:52:27.000 --> 01:52:27.399
Too much?
2168
01:52:28.000 --> 01:52:28.319
All right?
2169
01:52:28.479 --> 01:52:31.000
So that's my question on you know the show this morning.
2170
01:52:31.439 --> 01:52:37.239
What food did Rod request be present at ditch day tomorrow?
2171
01:52:37.720 --> 01:52:39.600
Yep? And I did get the thumbs up on that.
2172
01:52:39.760 --> 01:52:42.159
He confirmed, yeah, because we need it first day and
2173
01:52:42.239 --> 01:52:45.279
he text you back right away. He was in gunners
2174
01:52:45.359 --> 01:52:46.039
up early.
2175
01:52:45.920 --> 01:52:49.079
Seven one three two one two five nine four.
2176
01:52:49.159 --> 01:52:54.720
Five let's see two minutes later.
2177
01:52:54.880 --> 01:52:57.359
That's impressive. Thank you Gunner for everything you do for us.
2178
01:52:57.800 --> 01:52:59.560
We're gonna use him for a game tomorrow. Seven one
2179
01:52:59.560 --> 01:53:02.359
three two win two five. If you know that food item,
2180
01:53:02.720 --> 01:53:05.720
here's to dad, who helped you become a man. All right,
2181
01:53:05.760 --> 01:53:06.720
sound swing at the ball.
2182
01:53:06.800 --> 01:53:07.560
Don't be a pussy.
2183
01:53:07.720 --> 01:53:10.640
He helped you in sticky situations. I locked your door.
2184
01:53:10.800 --> 01:53:13.000
I'll be right, gad, I know what you're doing in there.
2185
01:53:13.239 --> 01:53:15.800
He left with you, jack ass, cried with you.
2186
01:53:16.079 --> 01:53:17.720
I can't believe you blued a game.
2187
01:53:17.960 --> 01:53:20.640
So this Father's Day, give your dad the gift of
2188
01:53:20.760 --> 01:53:24.560

2189
01:53:24.640 --> 01:53:29.680
given you, Introducing fertilizer for him from Home Depot also

2191
01:53:31.640 --> 01:53:37.159
Rod Ryan on ninety four five The Bus, ninety four five,
2192
01:53:37.279 --> 01:53:40.359
The Buzz, Good Morning, rod Ryan's Show, Offspring, gonna kind
2193
01:53:40.359 --> 01:53:44.399
of cap off the show, will I don't know. We
2194
01:53:44.520 --> 01:53:46.479
got this great ticket to give away. Maybe I'll sneak
2195
01:53:46.520 --> 01:53:48.199
something on before we get out of here. Guys, I
2196
01:53:48.239 --> 01:53:51.119
appreciate you sticking with us on this nasty, nasty looking
2197
01:53:51.279 --> 01:53:55.439
throwback Thursday. Really bad out there? Is it just like
2198
01:53:55.520 --> 01:53:57.199
this all day? Are we stuck with this crap?
2199
01:53:58.159 --> 01:54:02.840
Last I checked four pm? It's forever, it's been like
2200
01:54:02.920 --> 01:54:03.600
through the weekend.
2201
01:54:04.560 --> 01:54:10.520
At four pm it gets down to a forty percent chance.
2202
01:54:10.560 --> 01:54:12.359
It's still a lot.
2203
01:54:13.800 --> 01:54:16.680
So it's not one hundred percent chance. And then yeah,
2204
01:54:16.840 --> 01:54:19.840
thirty percent chance of rain at six damn Yeah, really
2205
01:54:19.880 --> 01:54:24.680
really nasty today. Let's go now, Time for know this show.
2206
01:54:25.079 --> 01:54:26.880
On ninety four five The Buzz.
2207
01:54:27.680 --> 01:54:29.359
La La La La La La La La La La
2208
01:54:29.439 --> 01:54:33.520
La la la la la la la la la La,
2209
01:54:41.560 --> 01:54:42.840
Good Morning, rod Ryan Show.
2210
01:54:45.000 --> 01:54:45.479
Good morning.
2211
01:54:45.880 --> 01:54:49.239
Hello, Who is this Megan?
2212
01:54:49.760 --> 01:54:50.039
Megan?
2213
01:54:50.199 --> 01:54:50.920
Meghan's at work?
2214
01:54:51.239 --> 01:54:53.439
Oh, Meghan, you're at work? Are You're not supposed to
2215
01:54:53.479 --> 01:54:54.359
be on the phone with us right now?
2216
01:54:55.119 --> 01:54:58.279
I'm at work, but it's okay, okay.
2217
01:54:58.880 --> 01:54:59.960
Let's see if you mow the show.
2218
01:55:00.159 --> 01:55:04.359
Yes, thank you for listening at work, Meghan. Which food
2219
01:55:04.479 --> 01:55:07.039
did Rod request be present at ditch Day tomorrow?
2220
01:55:08.279 --> 01:55:11.680
Cater talk Yeah, the tater tot toss my girl, which
2221
01:55:11.800 --> 01:55:15.680
Alex doesn't think we ever do for some reason, we're
2222
01:55:15.920 --> 01:55:19.920
talking them in the last year when I told you
2223
01:55:20.000 --> 01:55:22.399
the reason we didn't do it last year. Yeah, so
2224
01:55:22.600 --> 01:55:25.039
we still didn't do it. We were tossing around Tessa's
2225
01:55:25.119 --> 01:55:27.680
old implants that were removed. Oh, I didn't let her
2226
01:55:27.760 --> 01:55:30.399
keep those. I thought they did it. We threw, we
2227
01:55:30.479 --> 01:55:31.279
threw until they broke.
2228
01:55:32.159 --> 01:55:32.359
Yeah.
2229
01:55:33.960 --> 01:55:35.520
Hey, Megan just won mode the show. What are you
2230
01:55:35.560 --> 01:55:35.840
giving her?
2231
01:55:35.920 --> 01:55:36.079
Yeah?
2232
01:55:36.119 --> 01:55:36.279
Girl.
2233
01:55:36.479 --> 01:55:38.760
Bulbeat is going to be on their greatest of all
2234
01:55:38.840 --> 01:55:42.079
tours worldwide. Hailstorm will be there July twenty ninth, the
2235
01:55:42.119 --> 01:55:43.159
seven one to three musical.
2236
01:55:43.520 --> 01:55:46.720
Meghan, you will be there as well. Awesome, Thank you.
2237
01:55:48.319 --> 01:55:52.159
Do I love Vulbeat Welby Rocks. I think I love them, Megan,
2238
01:55:52.319 --> 01:55:55.439
thanks for being on the show today. Thank you hang
2239
01:55:55.520 --> 01:55:55.920
on for me.
2240
01:56:04.560 --> 01:56:06.920
There is this other Volbeat song that we also liked too,
2241
01:56:07.079 --> 01:56:08.680
and then we were like, wait, they have more than
2242
01:56:08.720 --> 01:56:09.239
one song we.
2243
01:56:09.319 --> 01:56:11.680
Really like, so was this a summer jam?
2244
01:56:12.439 --> 01:56:16.680
We premiered one and it was like right around ditch
2245
01:56:16.760 --> 01:56:18.520
day time, I feel like and then we're like, maybe this.
2246
01:56:18.640 --> 01:56:20.760
Is the summer jam you like, the one with the
2247
01:56:21.000 --> 01:56:25.359
saxophone in it? Absolutely? Yes, yes, does this have a
2248
01:56:25.399 --> 01:56:28.720
saxophone in it? I think it's Anything with the saxophone
2249
01:56:28.800 --> 01:56:36.760
is immediately cool. This might be it. I should have
2250
01:56:36.760 --> 01:56:39.800
been playing Vulbeat whole week. Are we only playing Volby's?
2251
01:56:40.399 --> 01:56:42.800
I don't know. But the last time I saw the
2252
01:56:42.920 --> 01:56:45.079
only time I saw Volby, they opened up for Metallic
2253
01:56:45.119 --> 01:56:52.119
at the stadium. Oh nice, Yeah they did. Okay that
2254
01:56:52.399 --> 01:56:55.319
you got a new podcast up, brand new podcast, Episode
2255
01:56:55.399 --> 01:56:58.159
six twenty. We tell you what cactivism is?
2256
01:56:58.960 --> 01:57:03.520
Very interesting stuff. The word cactivism like activism with a cactus.
2257
01:57:04.600 --> 01:57:07.359
I guess we had to listen to find out. We
2258
01:57:07.520 --> 01:57:09.399
also try and find out if you can be addicted
2259
01:57:09.439 --> 01:57:11.239
to therapy and how you would treat somebody that was
2260
01:57:11.319 --> 01:57:14.399
addicted to therapy. And we tried to figure out how
2261
01:57:14.479 --> 01:57:17.399
much the Big Dipper would cost. Think Louisiana purchase Style
2262
01:57:17.840 --> 01:57:21.000
and power rang to guitar solos. That was kind of cool.
2263
01:57:21.159 --> 01:57:24.079
That's interesting if people could be addicted to therapy. I
2264
01:57:24.159 --> 01:57:26.600
think people can really like therapy, just like you like
2265
01:57:26.720 --> 01:57:30.239
working out. Think about it like you're getting your body, yeah,
2266
01:57:30.479 --> 01:57:33.000
you know in shape. It's like people look at it
2267
01:57:33.119 --> 01:57:34.000
like working out.
2268
01:57:34.399 --> 01:57:36.840
And if you were like when you go to like rehab.
2269
01:57:36.880 --> 01:57:38.600
Rehab is a type of therapy. So how would you
2270
01:57:38.640 --> 01:57:42.479
treat being addicted to the thing that you can't get
2271
01:57:42.520 --> 01:57:42.880
treated for?
2272
01:57:42.960 --> 01:57:49.359
At that point? See More Passively podcast and check it out. Brandon.
2273
01:57:50.199 --> 01:57:53.079
We'll never ever forget that. Eddie Van Halen did the
2274
01:57:53.119 --> 01:57:56.439
guitar solo. Unbeat it. We talked about it this morning.
2275
01:57:56.520 --> 01:57:57.319
We did, he missed it.
2276
01:57:57.680 --> 01:58:03.720
He's gonna go for win number three tomorrow. Uh, alex
2277
01:58:04.119 --> 01:58:08.399
One read my lips today. Congrat I thought you'd put
2278
01:58:08.479 --> 01:58:09.079
up a great fight.
2279
01:58:09.319 --> 01:58:11.680
Thank you. I have pretty good about it too.
2280
01:58:11.840 --> 01:58:14.199
Perla One sold out Metallica tickets.
2281
01:58:14.840 --> 01:58:15.439
You're welcome.
2282
01:58:15.640 --> 01:58:17.640
Pearla is now in the first five rows.
2283
01:58:17.760 --> 01:58:18.680
The first time seeing him.
2284
01:58:18.840 --> 01:58:21.039
We gave her the newly remastered load album and now
2285
01:58:21.119 --> 01:58:25.760
she's in the drawing for tomorrow for the limited edition
2286
01:58:26.000 --> 01:58:29.079
Number Deluxe Load box set with three hundred and one
2287
01:58:29.239 --> 01:58:31.479
total tracks, two hundred and forty five of those are
2288
01:58:31.560 --> 01:58:35.159
new are new. Thank you to Gunner for answering my
2289
01:58:35.279 --> 01:58:37.439
text this morning. We're gonna do the Tater Tot toss
2290
01:58:37.600 --> 01:58:40.279
tomorrow at ditch Day ready, but yeah, he'll be getting
2291
01:58:40.279 --> 01:58:42.479
the toss ready for us for ditch Day tomorrow. New
2292
01:58:42.560 --> 01:58:44.760
episode like the man mentioned, new episode of Past the
2293
01:58:44.800 --> 01:58:50.560
Gravy tomorrow on the show. Metallica tickets in the first
2294
01:58:50.640 --> 01:58:53.800
five rows off the floor like we've been doing all week,
2295
01:58:53.880 --> 01:58:55.920
and get qualified for the album, give you the album,
2296
01:58:55.960 --> 01:58:58.199
get you qualified for a better album. All that that's
2297
01:58:58.239 --> 01:59:01.359
not know the show. I'm also going to add another
2298
01:59:01.479 --> 01:59:04.840
pair of Metallica tickets to every case of beer tomorrow.
2299
01:59:05.319 --> 01:59:06.640
You won't be in the drawing or any of that,
2300
01:59:06.760 --> 01:59:08.520
but I thought you guys would want those tickets, so
2301
01:59:09.119 --> 01:59:11.760
I hope I'm right on that. You're right every beer winner,
2302
01:59:11.920 --> 01:59:16.840
I think Metallica tickets free beer Friday. You kidding me now.
2303
01:59:17.000 --> 01:59:20.000
Jeremy is up next. He's got the NonStop Noon or
2304
01:59:20.039 --> 01:59:21.760
pick your tickets with him in the one o'clock hour,
2305
01:59:21.840 --> 01:59:24.119
But I'm not done. At eleven o'clock he's got the
2306
01:59:24.159 --> 01:59:27.239
world premiere of a new song from twenty one Pilots,
2307
01:59:28.119 --> 01:59:29.840
and then you're gonna hear it all throughout the day.
2308
01:59:30.359 --> 01:59:32.640
We are going to play it tomorrow at around seven
2309
01:59:32.640 --> 01:59:34.800
to twenty. I think the song is called the Contract.
2310
01:59:34.920 --> 01:59:35.279
Is that right?
2311
01:59:35.399 --> 01:59:35.960
That's what I saw?
2312
01:59:36.199 --> 01:59:40.479
Okay, Yeah, we've been busy, so busy.
2313
01:59:40.720 --> 01:59:41.880
It was fun. I had a fun day.
2314
01:59:42.000 --> 01:59:45.840
It went by quick, it flew, it went by quick.
2315
01:59:46.159 --> 01:59:48.760

bother put it together a schedule for nex day.
2322
02:00:04.560 --> 02:00:05.479
No, we don't.
2323
02:00:05.760 --> 02:00:07.479
If we do, it's gonna just get thrown out of
2324
02:00:07.479 --> 02:00:09.760
a second walk in. I agree with you. The only
2325
02:00:09.840 --> 02:00:12.640

2329
02:00:28.279 --> 02:00:30.000
all right, somebody has to find Rod. It's not on
2330
02:00:30.159 --> 02:00:32.319

2331
02:00:32.359 --> 02:00:34.520
will be there. Please say that big yeah, just find
