ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Rob kicks things off with Metallica, a positive doctor's visit, and a political bombshell involving Kimberly Guilfoyle's reported resignation and a $100,000 American Express bill. Apparently, even diplomatic relations have credit limits.
Columbus Day becomes a cultural battlefield as Rob celebrates Italian-American heritage, blasts the Indigenous Peoples Day movement, and enjoys Little Italy's less-than-enthusiastic reaction to Mayor Zohran Mamdani skipping the parade. The cannoli are plentiful, but the welcome mat is missing.
Rob challenges the conventional wisdom on midterm polling, highlights Republican registration advantages, and pokes fun at the Democratic National Committee's financial struggles. Bernie Sanders floats banning artificial intelligence, leaving Rob wondering whether anyone has considered banning political stupidity instead.
Newsmax Hotline: Maryland Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Cox joins Rob to hammer Governor Wes Moore over rising taxes, hundreds of increased fees, Baltimore crime, and delays rebuilding the Francis Scott Key Bridge. When the phone connection mysteriously drops, Rob suggests another cargo ship might have struck it.
Rob previews Trump's ambitious second-term agenda, including immigration enforcement, healthcare reform, voter ID requirements, and tougher criminal penalties. He also discusses a projected Social Security cost-of-living increase, proving there's plenty of policy to unpack before the next Van Halen song.
