ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Mike Shaw and Pastor Jonathan Yates continue Family Church’s This Is Us series with the final installment of “Scripture Is Our Authority.” They talk about the importance of having both mentors and people we mentor, teaching children how to know and study Scripture, and how the Bible teaches us what is right, what is wrong, how to get right, and how to stay right.
The conversation also explores why Christian community can’t be fully replaced by an online experience, the role of worship and relationships in the church, and how Scripture provides a steady foundation in a constantly changing culture. Plus, Mike and Jonathan share some laughs, highlight the worship ministry of Nick and Ashley Sanders, preview the next series on radical love for our neighbors, and look at several upcoming Family Church events.
