ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Last week, EELS released their 16th studio album, Cookie Happened, and it's another in a long line of albums packed with songs that feature beautifully human, often broken, characters who flow from the eloquent and imaginative pen of songwriter Mark Oliver Everett, better known as simply, E.
E joins Paul to talk about the new songs, some old songs, his process, his life, and the many other humans that made him what he is today, which is one of the best and most prolific American songwriters in our midst, and the subject of a forthcoming Judd Apatow-produced documentary.
