MrBeast’s videos are starting to look more like action movies, and that might be exactly where he’s headed.
This week, we break down MrBeast’s latest video, Escape 100 Cops, Win $500,000, and why his increasingly massive productions could be preparing him for something much bigger than YouTube. We also get into his new book, The Most Dangerous Games, written with James Patterson, and our theory that books could allow MrBeast to create ideas too crazy for YouTube before eventually turning the best ones into movies and TV franchises.
Then we get into Pablo Torre’s investigation surrounding Steve Ballmer, Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers and Aspiration. With allegations centered around whether money was being used to circumvent the NBA salary cap, we discuss the conflicting reporting, the NBA’s investigation and just how difficult it would be for the league to seriously go after its richest owner.
Finally, National Treasure 3 is coming, which means it’s time to revisit one of the strangest movie conspiracies ever. Why do National Treasure movies seemingly show up around periods of financial chaos? Plus, Nicolas Cage might actually be the perfect person to play Benjamin Franklin Gates, considering his real-life obsession with rare comics, dinosaur fossils, and bizarre collectibles.
MrBeast going Hollywood, an NBA billionaire scandal, and the National Treasure financial curse somehow it all makes sense this week on The Real Oshow Podcast.
