ABOUT THIS EPISODE
How much can you really take on before something starts to give?
I’m thinking about something that kept coming back to me throughout the summer: knowing your bandwidth.
Between work, teaching, dissertation work, consulting, content creation, technology, and life, I’ve realized that being capable of doing something doesn’t always mean I have the capacity to take it on.
I talk about recognizing the warning signs, learning when to pause, asking for clarity and support, celebrating what actually gets accomplished, and understanding that everything doesn’t have to happen today.
As we move into the fall, I’m asking myself a different question: How far can I stretch before I need to pull back?
Maybe it’s a question worth asking yourself too.
Let’s get into it. Let’s tinker.
