00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:01.679
Welcome back to the Quantum Couch.
00:00:01.840 --> 00:00:02.879
I'm your host, Dr.
00:00:03.040 --> 00:00:04.160
Ina Komboy.
00:00:04.480 --> 00:00:06.480
I'm super excited to welcome back Dr.
00:00:06.559 --> 00:00:08.160
Michelle Marin to the show.
00:00:08.400 --> 00:00:13.359
You may remember her from the episode called Navigating to Worlds Medical and Spiritual.
00:00:13.599 --> 00:00:16.879
If you haven't listened to that one yet, please consider giving it a listen.
00:00:17.039 --> 00:00:18.320
It is a very good one.
00:00:18.559 --> 00:00:23.920
We're meeting again today because of the episode I released in January 2026 on intuition with Dr.
00:00:24.000 --> 00:00:25.199
Katrina Garvey.
00:00:25.359 --> 00:00:33.679
I received a lot of feedback regarding that episode, where many people reached out to me saying that it was really interesting.
00:00:34.560 --> 00:00:46.719
But many of them also felt that there's more to intuition than just rapid unconscious processing that integrates experience, emotion, and context into a felt sense of knowing.
00:00:46.960 --> 00:00:49.679
So Michelle and I talked about this as well.
00:00:49.840 --> 00:00:57.280
And I asked her whether she would be willing to have a dialogue with me where we explore intuition in more depth on this podcast.
00:00:57.520 --> 00:00:57.840
Dr.
00:00:58.000 --> 00:01:02.000
Marin is a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician.
00:01:02.240 --> 00:01:11.120
She is recognized for her evidence-based patient-focused approach and is attentive to both medical expertise and intuition in caring for children and families.
00:01:11.280 --> 00:01:15.519
Her key area of focus include medical education and physician wellness.
00:01:15.840 --> 00:01:16.079
Dr.
00:01:16.239 --> 00:01:20.640
Marin is also my best friend from medical school and my beloved soul sister.
00:01:20.879 --> 00:01:21.200
Dr.
00:01:21.280 --> 00:01:24.480
Michelle Marin, welcome back, my beautiful friend.
00:01:25.439 --> 00:01:33.040
Thank you so much for having me again here on your amazing podcast, which I tune into every week and love it.
00:01:33.280 --> 00:01:34.719
I am so happy to be here.
00:01:34.879 --> 00:01:35.439
Thank you.
00:01:35.760 --> 00:01:40.159
And I'm I'm uh I actually really appreciate you listening to my podcast every single time.
00:01:40.319 --> 00:01:42.719
I've told this to you many times, and I'll say it again.
00:01:42.799 --> 00:01:45.280
Uh, it's really wonderful to have the support and the love.
00:01:45.359 --> 00:01:47.120
And so thank you.
00:01:48.239 --> 00:01:49.359
Um, all right.
00:01:49.680 --> 00:01:51.680
So where should we begin?
00:01:51.840 --> 00:01:52.959
Break it down intuition.
00:01:53.200 --> 00:01:56.319
I mean, what did you think of the podcast on intuition that we had before?
00:01:56.400 --> 00:01:57.680
What what were your thoughts?
00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:05.680
So, you know, I thought it was kind of like a good start to the discussion of intuition.
00:02:05.840 --> 00:02:16.400
I felt like there was a little bit further down to go along the road to truly understanding what it is, because I agree with Dr.
00:02:16.479 --> 00:02:36.719
Garvey that there is a lot of unconscious information that we're taking in and about a person that's just by looking at them and, you know, maybe other things we have had experienced with, let's say it's other patients or other people we're meeting for the first time that have similarities to someone else in the past.
00:02:37.039 --> 00:02:47.919
But there is a deeper unconscious level that I felt like wasn't touched or discussed that deserves some attention.
00:02:49.439 --> 00:02:49.759
Okay.
00:02:50.159 --> 00:02:58.639
And so uh if we go further, uh can you give us a breakdown of what you think intuition is?
00:02:58.800 --> 00:03:01.360
Uh where you said that this is a really good beginning.
00:03:01.439 --> 00:03:03.919
So what else is is there more to intuition?
00:03:04.080 --> 00:03:05.680
What is intuition and your understanding?
00:03:06.080 --> 00:03:30.319
For me, intuition is this uh knowing that comes through and of different information about people, situations, different things that are not only maybe from the environment around you, but from a whole unknowing that we just really have very little understanding about.
00:03:30.719 --> 00:04:06.000
But many people try to seek that understanding with different facets, whether it be through um energy work and just kind of understanding how different energies maybe come into play and give off information, whether it is mediumship where you may have past loved ones or someone provide you with information that then will lead you to nudge to do something, whether it's um just a general, just it is like we can go into the clairs, like you just like a drop-in and knowing that that information comes to you.
00:04:06.319 --> 00:04:17.439
I do believe there is some space for that within intuition, along with the unconscious bias that um had already been discussed.
00:04:18.079 --> 00:04:19.839
When you say clairs, what did you mean by that?
00:04:20.399 --> 00:04:20.480
Sure.
00:04:21.920 --> 00:04:26.800
Yeah, so there, um, and you can help me with this because I'm not sure if I'm gonna remember all of them.
00:04:26.959 --> 00:04:39.360
Um, but within kind of picking up on psychic energy, there are different clairs or different ways using the different senses in order to kind of pick up psychic energy.
00:04:39.519 --> 00:04:46.160
So uh the one everyone's most familiar with is clairvoyant, which is clear seeing.
00:04:46.319 --> 00:04:49.600
So it's like you can see in a picture almost.
00:04:49.759 --> 00:04:56.399
Some people can see certain situations or stuff of what's going on and use that as knowledge of some sort.
00:04:56.639 --> 00:05:04.639
Then there's um clairsentient, is where you kind of you have this feeling of something to that's coming.
00:05:04.879 --> 00:05:19.120
Um, and there's also there's other various kinds of ones that um, you know, I don't remember at the top of my head, but event day like clairugustus, I think is one where like you could kind of like taste certain things that have happened.
00:05:19.199 --> 00:05:31.759
And there's one that the clear that's involving smell, um and also clear tangent, where you can, which I've seen a lot of people use, where you touch an object and then that gives you a lot of information.
00:05:32.000 --> 00:05:36.720
So those are different clairs that I'm referring to.
00:05:37.120 --> 00:05:39.680
The the one that you're talking about, touching an object.
00:05:39.759 --> 00:05:40.959
Um, do you remember?
00:05:41.120 --> 00:05:46.319
I think you and I, but separately, went to uh Brian Weiss's workshop in New York.
00:05:46.480 --> 00:05:59.519
And Brian Weiss is a psychiatrist who does a lot of uh past life regressions uh after and wrote some very famous books, um, like Many Lives, Many Masters, um, and many other ones.
00:05:59.680 --> 00:06:06.639
But um, I remember I went to this workshop and I uh was sitting next to people I had no idea about.
00:06:06.720 --> 00:06:18.480
I went to it myself, and um I uh he gave us a prompt basically like, hey, let's just meditate for a bit, as but exchange objects with the person next to you, and she gave me a bracelet.
00:06:18.800 --> 00:06:27.040
And um I was sitting there and I was meditating and I was holding it, and then like whatever came into my mind, I basically told her afterwards.
00:06:27.120 --> 00:06:39.040
And so basically what I told her is like I see this woman walking on the beach, and she has this beautiful hair and she's dressed in all white, uh, which is making me wonder if she's deceased, but she had this like gorgeous, gorgeous hair.
00:06:39.120 --> 00:06:41.519
And I don't remember exactly what else I told her.
00:06:41.680 --> 00:06:55.199
And then after I told her this, she said basically, like, oh my God, like this bracelet was given to me by my beloved aunt, and she lived in Puerto Rico or something like that, or like somewhere like near like a very beautiful beach island.
00:06:55.439 --> 00:06:58.720
And um, and she uh gave me this bracelet.
00:06:58.879 --> 00:07:03.839
She's deceased, and um, she like the beach was like her favorite place or something like that.
00:07:03.920 --> 00:07:05.839
Or I don't and there were some other details.
00:07:05.920 --> 00:07:13.519
This was like honestly a long time ago, so I don't remember all the details, but I was like, oh, I mean, I am definitely not a psychic.
00:07:13.600 --> 00:07:25.439
I am not even close to it, but it feels like maybe everyone has that ability to tap into these certain things if we attune to trying to figure this out somehow.
00:07:25.519 --> 00:07:27.360
And I don't even know how my body did it.
00:07:27.439 --> 00:07:36.319
But and it could be said, like, oh, this is pure coincidence, but other people spoke up in this large audience, and some of them were like really even more accurate than me.
00:07:36.399 --> 00:07:39.680
Like some things were tapped into that was just extraordinary.
00:07:39.839 --> 00:07:42.560
Um, and I don't really know how to explain that.
00:07:43.040 --> 00:07:44.800
Yeah, I mean, I agree.
00:07:44.879 --> 00:07:48.319
And like I also, it was like, I remember it was in 2011.
00:07:48.480 --> 00:07:50.399
It was like that was years ago at this point.
00:07:50.480 --> 00:07:51.199
And what is that?
00:07:51.600 --> 00:07:52.240
Oh, wow.
00:07:52.399 --> 00:07:55.920
That's about 15 years ago that we my grandfather died, so I couldn't go.
00:07:56.000 --> 00:07:57.439
So I gave him the ticket.
00:07:57.759 --> 00:07:58.720
Exactly.
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:10.000
So I had the same situation, and it was like she handed me, I believe it was her keychain, and um I was able to pick up on information.
00:08:10.160 --> 00:08:25.600
Like I saw like a beautiful road and I heard a motorcycle, and then all of a sudden I saw um a hospital bed elevated 30 degrees, and just so I just like kind of said what I saw, and like she just started crying profusely.
00:08:25.680 --> 00:08:27.519
And I was just like, oh, okay.
00:08:27.759 --> 00:08:31.360
And I tapped into something, and similar to you, it was the same thing.
00:08:31.439 --> 00:08:46.639
Like, I was just like, I never really thought of myself as having this ability at this point, and just hearing my like myself being able to send all these other people, it kind of makes you just um, you know, wonder like about that.
00:08:46.799 --> 00:08:58.559
Like there to me, like to bring it even a little further back, you know, it's just like there is this intangible connection between all of us.
00:08:58.799 --> 00:09:03.440
And I feel like that is what that kind of represents.
00:09:03.679 --> 00:09:12.240
And I think that is kind of the foundation of intuition is just no matter what, no matter, you know, we're our own bodies.
00:09:12.399 --> 00:09:15.120
I'm down in Florida, you're in Pennsylvania.
00:09:15.279 --> 00:09:18.080
Like we're we're connected, we're all connected.
00:09:18.159 --> 00:09:20.639
And like I get these, sometimes I get these like moments in my mind.
00:09:20.720 --> 00:09:25.679
I'm like, let me just check in with Ina or something, and then you'll tell me, like, oh, this is going on, da da da da.
00:09:25.840 --> 00:09:28.320
And I'm like, oh shit, she's got a lot going on, you know.
00:09:28.399 --> 00:09:38.159
Like, um, so I think, and I, you know, it's happened with other people with uh, you know, that I'm close with, or you know, people that are just in like outer circles of mine that I think of them and something's happened.
00:09:38.399 --> 00:09:43.919
So I just feel like there's this underlying, just like blanket connection.
00:09:44.080 --> 00:09:53.600
Like no matter what, we can never get away from each other, meaning that, you know, like we're always, even if we feel like we're separate, we try to be in silos, but we're always connected.
00:09:53.759 --> 00:09:57.200
And I think that's where that ability kind of stems from.
00:09:57.360 --> 00:10:00.000
And how the question is, how do you tap into it?
00:10:00.399 --> 00:10:00.879
Yeah.
00:10:01.120 --> 00:10:19.440
I mean, even if we don't even go into more like a psychic connection or use different words, like I guess so I I finished um presenting on intuition to um for grand rounds to uh psychiatry residents this past Friday, and I did a lot of research for it.
00:10:19.600 --> 00:10:30.080
And so what I ended up doing is I ended up breaking intuition into two kinds, local intuition and non-local intuition, where local intuition is intuition related to the things you're picking up from the environment.
00:10:30.159 --> 00:10:31.840
So anything that is close to you.
00:10:32.080 --> 00:10:40.480
But even there, when you're talking about the local intuition, rapid uh processing is not even always true for that.
00:10:40.720 --> 00:10:44.080
Because, for example, like I do a lot of psychotherapy.
00:10:44.159 --> 00:10:52.240
And so when I sit in the room, I don't know if I ever if I tell you about this as much, but I get almost like these images that sometimes come into my mind.
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:53.519
I may have told you about this.
00:10:53.679 --> 00:11:01.120
Um, I I get these images that go into my mind when I'm when the patient is talking at times, and they're almost like a representation of what they're saying.
00:11:01.279 --> 00:11:05.679
It almost like plays out in like this this analogy image form.
00:11:06.159 --> 00:11:20.559
And um, for whatever reason, like whenever I I think about it, somehow it is related very importantly, and it creates like this um almost like a psychic connection between me and the patient.
00:11:20.720 --> 00:11:27.200
And so sometimes I tap into things and I know things immediately what they're about to say, or like I intuit where they're going.
00:11:27.360 --> 00:11:36.960
And so there are signs saying that it's not like just me reading the room, but it's also us aligning in like waveform, like our bodies align, our brain waves align.
00:11:37.120 --> 00:11:39.600
Okay, so if our brain waves align, that's perfectly fine.
00:11:39.679 --> 00:11:43.840
But that how does that turn into sharing of information?
00:11:44.000 --> 00:11:46.399
How does that relate to like a psychic connection?
00:11:46.480 --> 00:11:53.840
And I don't know, like they have the scientific proof saying, like, okay, you and I are sitting here together, you and I are bonding, we're very close.
00:11:54.080 --> 00:12:01.360
Our brain waves are aligning, our heart rates may be aligning, our skin like conductance may be aligning.
00:12:01.600 --> 00:12:09.840
But how does that also then turn into you feeling or intuiting or like sharing images or sharing dreams, even sometimes?
00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:35.600
Like I a lot of like therapists share dreams together, or they like there there is a level of connection that is really truly there that's measurable in physical capacity, but we still don't really know how that translates into, okay, like just because our brains are we're all aligned, how does that trait translate into you knowing things about me that I never told you?
00:12:35.759 --> 00:12:40.159
Um does that but does that have to go back to the maybe quantum entanglement?
00:12:40.639 --> 00:12:42.480
Well, I guess that's the question, yes.
00:12:42.639 --> 00:12:50.639
Does that go back to quantum entanglement where particles are like once they're uh entangled or they're connected, they'll they're never disconnected.
00:12:50.720 --> 00:12:54.399
And so whatever happens to one at a distance will happen to another.
00:12:54.559 --> 00:12:56.879
Um and I guess, yeah, that is the question.
00:12:57.039 --> 00:12:57.919
Is there something there?
00:12:58.080 --> 00:13:13.200
But but there is something there, like scientifically, like people are like, oh, psychics are are woo, and like all of this intuition that's past rapid um awareness and processing information is like not real, but it is real.
00:13:13.360 --> 00:13:14.480
Like it's very real.
00:13:14.720 --> 00:13:17.679
We're measuring it, we're just not sure how it's happening yet.
00:13:17.919 --> 00:13:18.240
Right.
00:13:18.399 --> 00:13:22.320
Um and that's that's where it's really cool.
00:13:22.960 --> 00:13:23.679
I agree.
00:13:23.919 --> 00:13:24.399
I agree.
00:13:24.559 --> 00:13:31.679
And I'm sure like if we were to look it up, there are active studies going on, just kind of looking at, you know, this.
00:13:31.840 --> 00:13:37.840
I mean, did you come across any like um studies that are happening right now that maybe the data isn't published?
00:13:38.559 --> 00:13:49.840
But right now, but there is data being published about like um uh there is there was a study about actually how possibly we can be tapping into it is like reading the future, essentially.
00:13:50.000 --> 00:14:05.120
And so there were there were many studies where um a person is sitting in front of a a random uh computer generator where it generates particular pictures and then it they're measuring the person's reaction to these pictures.
00:14:05.279 --> 00:14:12.399
And so, like if it's like a very um upsetting image or upsetting thing, like the body reacts.
00:14:12.720 --> 00:14:20.799
And um, what they found is that because it's a random generator, the computer doesn't even know what it's about to give out.
00:14:20.879 --> 00:14:24.960
So there no one knows until the last moment what it's gonna put out.
00:14:25.120 --> 00:14:33.120
But they found that the body starts reacting one to ten seconds, depending, and there were multiple studies in different labs, and so there was like a meta-analysis done on this.
00:14:33.279 --> 00:14:43.840
And so they what they found is that there was um a one to ten second reaction in like skin conductance or heart rate variability before the random generator actually put out a picture.
00:14:44.080 --> 00:14:48.159
Um, and so that's really like crazy.
00:14:48.320 --> 00:14:50.799
It's like, what how the hell are we doing this?
00:14:50.960 --> 00:14:56.399
Like there is almost like a um a future like prediction of what's about to happen.
00:14:56.480 --> 00:14:59.840
And we're there is no way that we're reading the room.
00:14:59.919 --> 00:15:02.159
Like we're we can't read the room with this.
00:15:02.320 --> 00:15:04.720
Um, and we're still reacting somehow.
00:15:04.879 --> 00:15:06.080
Our bodies are reacting.
00:15:06.240 --> 00:15:07.440
So that's one of them.
00:15:07.679 --> 00:15:08.080
Yeah.
00:15:08.240 --> 00:15:10.159
Well, you know, it's so interesting you say that.
00:15:10.240 --> 00:15:17.039
And I'm just, you know, thinking about um, you know, this is probably I'm a little bit outside of my area.
00:15:17.120 --> 00:15:20.399
I am definitely going to be outside my area of expertise.
00:15:20.480 --> 00:15:24.879
And I'm sure my physics teacher from Villain will be like, uh, Michelle's talking about what?
00:15:25.120 --> 00:15:27.519
Um, but or be very proud of you.
00:15:27.759 --> 00:15:28.879
Or uh we'll see.
00:15:29.039 --> 00:15:29.519
I don't know.
00:15:29.679 --> 00:15:56.879
Anyways, but um, you know, it just, you know, it's thinking about time in general when you say that about how our bodies already are reacting to something that may not even be pulled up on the screen, it just makes you think about the concept of time and just maybe if that, you know, there it I've heard people say that time moves in different kinds of moves differently for different people.
00:15:57.440 --> 00:16:03.279
So, you know, I mean, you could say, yeah, if the people are in Australia, they're in the future, we're you know, in their past, that kind of thing.
00:16:03.360 --> 00:16:09.759
But even I've heard like relatively speaking between people and stuff, which is like I said, this is beyond my area of expertise.
00:16:09.919 --> 00:16:23.519
But I wonder if, you know, within quantum physics, this is something that is like being looked at as maybe that something there, which as I said, is beyond my level of expertise.
00:16:23.759 --> 00:16:24.960
You're absolutely onto something.
00:16:25.039 --> 00:16:28.960
And I talked about this very briefly in my in my my grand rounds too.
00:16:29.039 --> 00:16:40.399
Uh it's called the block universe hypothesis, basically related to the theory of relativity, where you have a block of time and you can slice it.
00:16:40.720 --> 00:16:48.559
And uh what we perceive as like now is just a particular frame of this bigger block that already exists.
00:16:48.639 --> 00:16:51.200
So sort of like a film reel.
00:16:51.360 --> 00:17:02.320
For those of you who are much younger, you may not know exactly what a film reel is, but it's basically like a literal tape that is that is wound on a reel and you watch it.
00:17:02.480 --> 00:17:11.039
And so it all exists in your life and you're what you consider now is just like where you are in watching this particular reel, like in the play session.
00:17:11.279 --> 00:17:16.480
And so you can like you can pause it, you can go back, you can go front, but like it already exists.
00:17:16.720 --> 00:17:23.440
And that makes sense within theory of relativity because we're at now, kind of you and I relatively experiencing similar time.
00:17:23.599 --> 00:17:32.079
But if someone is outside in space, their now, like current now, is very different in their time frame than where you're experiencing is now.
00:17:32.480 --> 00:17:37.599
And so there are two nows that are coexisting at different times already.
00:17:37.759 --> 00:17:38.480
And that's true.
00:17:38.559 --> 00:17:41.759
Like that is like they have tested the theory of relativity already.
00:17:41.839 --> 00:17:53.519
Even like they they sent a plane um above um the atmosphere and they measured how time is according, like in the more of the atmosphere area close to and then versus close to the ground.
00:17:53.599 --> 00:18:03.440
And even there, there was like difference in time, like very, very small difference, but enough for them to say, like, oh, there's something to this that must be very real.
00:18:03.759 --> 00:18:12.480
So yeah, what we consider time now is what Einstein basically thought is just a fourth dimension of space and time.
00:18:12.720 --> 00:18:19.119
And it's it's kind of it's not the same everywhere.
00:18:19.359 --> 00:18:30.480
So, yes, it totally makes sense that we could possibly tap into the future because there is no future, it already happened, and we're just kind of tapping into whatever is out there somehow.
00:18:30.720 --> 00:18:31.279
But how?
00:18:31.759 --> 00:18:33.519
I'm not sure when we don't know that yet.
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:34.559
We just don't know.
00:18:34.960 --> 00:18:43.359
There's no real good scientific basis to truly or or we, you know, we're yeah, there isn't none that that's published data, right?
00:18:43.440 --> 00:18:48.799
That you know, you did all you did a lot of this research that that's out there to kind of show that.
00:18:48.960 --> 00:18:52.079
But you know, it's so interesting going back to Brian Weiss.
00:18:52.160 --> 00:19:06.799
Um, I uh there was a book that he wrote that with his uh regression sessions, that there were um patients that were tapping into the future, their future lives.
00:19:06.960 --> 00:19:07.359
Yes.
00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:15.920
And it just kind of goes along with that, that then after like kind of the work that he did, there was shifts there as well, you know?
00:19:16.160 --> 00:19:28.480
So it kind of ties it all back into what you're saying that it's what the what we perceive as the future is something that's already occurred, which is wild to think about.
00:19:29.440 --> 00:19:45.519
But also, I mean, it makes you also wonder like people, like when we think about, and this I'm gonna go into sci-fi here a bit, like when people talk about travel in time, like they go about, like, oh, if we're gonna travel in time, we must not change anything, otherwise, we're gonna change the past and we're gonna somehow into here.
00:19:48.960 --> 00:19:50.240
Covers Potter.
00:19:51.839 --> 00:19:53.119
The which one is it?
00:19:53.279 --> 00:19:56.799
Not the yeah, the prisoner of Azkaban, like same thing.
00:19:57.279 --> 00:20:04.880
Yeah, they were very careful about when going into well, they were traveled into the past, yes, to not change anything for the for the future.
00:20:05.039 --> 00:20:05.599
There we go.
00:20:05.680 --> 00:20:16.880
Yes, so um I think that it also would be then if the future and the past and the present are all coexisting, then they can all impact each other at the same time.
00:20:17.039 --> 00:20:24.960
So, yes, you can change things in the past and it'll impact the present, which will impact the future, which will impact the past, like all of it, which is like yeah, I know.
00:20:25.039 --> 00:20:26.559
Like, what am I saying?
00:20:26.720 --> 00:20:27.920
I don't even know.
00:20:29.039 --> 00:20:31.200
But it is kind of crazy there.
00:20:31.440 --> 00:20:32.480
Yeah, it is.
00:20:32.720 --> 00:20:44.319
It really is, you know, like I just it's just thinking about time and just, you know, like the different theor, you know, the different theories and stuff like that in the concept of past lives.
00:20:44.480 --> 00:20:52.720
Like, I've, you know, I've read that some people think like it's all happening at the same time, all of it.
00:20:52.960 --> 00:21:00.720
We're just like, you know, it's all, we're just our awareness is so limited that we don't realize it.
00:21:00.880 --> 00:21:34.319
And like, you know, this is a little, this may seem a little out there, but like it going back, it's just it's all every action that we have kind of influences everything else going on around us, you know, like um with whether it's in the past or the future, like you're saying, like bringing it together, it's just crazy and it does sound very sci-fi, but I do wonder if within the next, maybe I don't think in our children's lifetime, but maybe like three or four generations from now, maybe they'll be able to have more of these answers.
00:21:34.480 --> 00:21:45.519
I feel like we could be in the direction of maybe being a little bit have a little bit more of an understanding of that, but I think we're moving in that direction.
00:21:45.680 --> 00:21:47.680
Cause Yeah, I agree.
00:21:47.839 --> 00:21:59.440
I mean, even in quantum physics, there is such an idea of multiverse um where um it's an alternative theory to um the collapse of particles.
00:21:59.519 --> 00:22:06.480
So the The idea is that like the Schrdinger's cat is that there is a superposition of two states at once.
00:22:06.640 --> 00:22:17.599
Like a cat is in a box and they um have like this radioactive decay there, and you're not sure if the cat has died or is still living because of this radioactive decay.
00:22:18.000 --> 00:22:28.000
And um, and so until you open the box and you observe it, the cat is both alive and dead in its superposition state because you're not sure what's happening there.
00:22:28.079 --> 00:22:34.319
So you need an observer to collapse the um to collapse the two possibilities into one.
00:22:34.480 --> 00:22:48.400
And so that's one of the things in in quantum mechanics is that uh things exist, like you cannot know its uh location and its um, what is it, location and momentum at the same time?
00:22:49.039 --> 00:22:58.880
Um anyway, so um, but the multiverse hypothesis is that um you don't necessarily collapse anything.
00:22:59.039 --> 00:23:07.200
It's just every time there is any kind of choice or any kind of difference, it just goes off into a different, into your different universe.
00:23:07.279 --> 00:23:14.160
Like, and so now you have these two parallel universes, which are infinite because there's so many choices everyone makes at all times.
00:23:14.319 --> 00:23:14.640
Right.
00:23:14.799 --> 00:23:17.759
Um, and then it just becomes what I don't understand.
00:23:17.839 --> 00:23:22.319
And then I I lose I lose focus there because even imagining it is mind-blowing.
00:23:22.640 --> 00:23:22.880
Right.
00:23:23.039 --> 00:23:25.359
You know, you think of what was that movie?
00:23:25.599 --> 00:23:31.200
Um the one that recently came out, won a bunch of Oscars, uh, the the what was it?
00:23:31.359 --> 00:23:35.920
Um the the where the woman had hot dog fingers in one universe.
00:23:36.240 --> 00:23:38.160
Oh, oh gosh, that was an amazing one.
00:23:38.400 --> 00:23:41.599
But it's everything everywhere all at once or something like that.
00:23:41.920 --> 00:23:43.680
Yes, like that's that concept.
00:23:43.920 --> 00:23:46.319
Yeah, and everything everywhere all at once.
00:23:46.480 --> 00:23:48.640
It was a fantastic film in 2022.
00:23:48.799 --> 00:23:49.440
It came out, yeah.
00:23:49.680 --> 00:23:50.640
Yes, yes.
00:23:50.880 --> 00:23:56.559
So that it basically describes what you're talking about right there, you know, just to kind of tie it all together.
00:23:56.720 --> 00:23:57.599
Like that really does.
00:23:57.680 --> 00:24:03.039
And I mean, obviously, I mean, I live with um a very big Marvel fan.
00:24:03.119 --> 00:24:07.039
So let's not let's just give a head nod to the Marvel multiverse too.
00:24:07.200 --> 00:24:13.119
Okay, you know, like that's another multiverse that's out there with the many different types of Spider-Mans and stuff.
00:24:13.359 --> 00:24:16.880
So um, you know, it's something that's been explored in sci-fi.
00:24:17.039 --> 00:24:23.200
And it's wild to think that the possibility that that is a reality we live in.
00:24:23.440 --> 00:24:24.079
But is it?
00:24:24.240 --> 00:24:43.839
I mean, if you look at science fiction that has been written like over 100 years ago, like Jules Verne fiction, for example, all his fiction is like not even that exciting anymore because it has become so true, like traveling to the moon and going in the submarine and like all the stuff that he wrote about that was like unheard of now turns into the reality.
00:24:44.000 --> 00:24:44.799
So I don't know.
00:24:44.880 --> 00:24:54.480
I mean, I have a feeling that maybe in a hundred years they'll be reading Asimov and Ray Bradbury and be like, pfft, amateurs, like we're living this now.
00:24:54.799 --> 00:24:57.039
Yeah, I I definitely see that too.
00:24:57.200 --> 00:25:00.160
I could see that happening with the way things are moving and stuff.
00:25:00.319 --> 00:25:03.359
So for sure that's a possibility.
00:25:03.519 --> 00:25:04.240
For sure.
00:25:04.559 --> 00:25:08.079
So we covered intuition that's somewhat local.
00:25:08.160 --> 00:25:17.279
Like we talked about, okay, you and I are sitting here and we're vibing, and like I can I can intuit things, or maybe like I'm intuiting things from a bracelet because I don't know, of whatever energy it left.
00:25:17.359 --> 00:25:18.720
And so maybe I'm reading it somehow.
00:25:18.880 --> 00:25:19.359
Who knows?
00:25:19.519 --> 00:25:24.480
Like, so um let's talk about non-local intuition.
00:25:24.559 --> 00:25:30.799
That's the intuition that is that is when you experience when someone is really far away, or when something is far away.
00:25:31.039 --> 00:25:44.000
Like we're like, I would say precognition about like precognitive dreams, like uh dreams that uh tell the future, or people like when you think of me and then you call me or you message me, and then you're like, hey, what's going on?
00:25:44.079 --> 00:25:48.640
And I'm like, oh, I'm not doing well, or whatever it is, like sensing something is happening to someone else.
00:25:48.799 --> 00:25:54.640
So we've talked about how it could be potentially um quantum entanglement.
00:25:55.119 --> 00:25:58.960
Um do you have other theories about how this all could be?
00:25:59.279 --> 00:26:07.839
You know, I the only concrete and um scientifically proven one I have is quantum entanglement.
00:26:08.079 --> 00:26:16.240
And the only other real explanations I have for it are based more in what many would perceive as woo-woo.
00:26:16.640 --> 00:26:28.240
Um, you know, it's it's just like it's sometimes I just feel like there's, you know, just little nudges that you get that.
00:26:28.319 --> 00:26:37.920
I mean, maybe yes, it could be quantum entanglement, but I mean, I'll give an example of something that cannot really be explained by science that happened for me.
00:26:38.079 --> 00:26:51.680
That was of something that I was able to help with from a distance is um my grandfather was very sick, and I had literally probably a half hour prior gotten off the phone with my grandmother.
00:26:51.839 --> 00:26:54.000
Everything's great, all good, everything's good.
00:26:54.079 --> 00:26:54.559
Uh-huh.
00:26:54.640 --> 00:26:55.920
Yes, yes, talk to you soon.
00:26:56.000 --> 00:26:57.119
Love you bye.
00:26:57.440 --> 00:27:13.519
And I'm doing my dishes, and all of a sudden I get this sense within me that my my maternal great-grandfather, my grandfather's father, who has been deceased since 2003, is like running towards me and trying to like get my attention.
00:27:13.599 --> 00:27:14.559
And I'm like, what?
00:27:14.960 --> 00:27:16.880
This is strange as I'm washing dishes.
00:27:16.960 --> 00:27:20.799
And I'm like, something in me all of a sudden just says, I have to call and see what's going on.
00:27:20.960 --> 00:27:22.720
My grandfather, something's not right.
00:27:22.960 --> 00:27:25.839
And when I did, it in fact wasn't.
00:27:26.000 --> 00:27:36.000
My grandmother was trying to get him in the car to drive him to my hospital where I worked in order to get him evaluated because he just stopped walking altogether.
00:27:36.240 --> 00:27:38.000
So I can't explain that.
00:27:38.160 --> 00:28:05.440
I can't, you know, physics cannot really, I don't think, can explain why how my great-grandfather, who's been deceased for at that point almost 19 years, is able to somehow relay a message to me that I need to call my, call my family and see what's going on, because there obviously is something that's going on that requires my assistance, you know, and that's not good.
00:28:05.680 --> 00:28:07.359
I can't explain that, you know.
00:28:07.519 --> 00:28:20.160
I mean, could you use the theory of quantum entanglement and and also kind of complain um like combine how matter is never created or destroyed, it just changes changes forms?
00:28:20.319 --> 00:28:34.319
Can you just take those two and maybe use that in order to kind of explain how, you know, like mediumship and like kind of this connection with spirit and everything, I don't know.
00:28:34.480 --> 00:28:39.039
That's kind of the basis of what I use in order to try to understand it.
00:28:39.359 --> 00:28:44.480
But I mean, like, there's definitely something there that I can't use to explain that.
00:28:44.640 --> 00:28:51.680
But I know that I'm not crazy and I know a message was sent to me and I know I received it and I acted on it, and it was a good thing I did.
00:28:52.400 --> 00:29:00.079
Yeah, I mean, I think what you're what you're saying essentially is we just do just do not have enough science to explain our experiences.
00:29:00.240 --> 00:29:03.839
And just because we don't, doesn't mean they're not happening, they're very real.
00:29:04.319 --> 00:29:21.519
Um, what made me think about as you're talking about this is um kind of how we define consciousness and who we are, which will uh I mean, I really like it's gonna take a while to talk about this, honestly, but and I don't think we'll be able to in this in this episode.
00:29:22.079 --> 00:29:30.559
Um but consciousness is what we perceive as experiencing the world, so who we are.
00:29:30.720 --> 00:29:41.519
Like, and then it goes into whether our consciousness is just a biological product of our brain, or is our consciousness something that exists beyond our bodies?
00:29:41.759 --> 00:30:16.079
And I'm in the um I'm in the camp of that our consciousness is something bigger than our just biological bodies, and our consciousness um exists outside of it, which has been talked about a lot when it comes to out-of-body experiences or people who are have near death experiences where um they die and then they watch like they they're clinically dead for a period of time and they watch things happening, like on the side of like in the corner of a room, hanging over there, or watching things that are happening outside of the room, even.
00:30:16.480 --> 00:30:23.440
And so that makes you wonder if consciousness is truly outside of one's body as well as inside the body.
00:30:23.599 --> 00:30:39.119
And so that brings into question okay, so maybe, just maybe, there is some kind of like rapid con like rapid response to whatever information you're receiving, but not in a way we think.
00:30:39.279 --> 00:30:54.160
Like maybe it's not our brain receiving the information, but our consciousness receiving, because our consciousness outside of our bodies may be able to see things and experience things in a much broader way, like maybe miles and miles away.
00:30:54.400 --> 00:30:54.799
How?
00:30:55.039 --> 00:30:55.599
I don't know.
00:30:55.680 --> 00:30:58.480
I mean, this is I'm I'm just really like guessing here.
00:30:58.640 --> 00:31:02.960
And so our consciousness is inside our bodies and somehow like funneled in.
00:31:03.039 --> 00:31:12.480
Like if I if I'm thinking about like we're like the maybe the the the lower point of the funnel, but it comes out maybe outside of our bodies and stretches out for miles away.
00:31:12.640 --> 00:31:21.119
And so somehow your grandfather is part of the your consciousness awareness, and so it brings it to you through the funnel and you know what's happening.
00:31:21.519 --> 00:31:22.799
Did that make sense?
00:31:23.039 --> 00:31:23.759
It does.
00:31:23.920 --> 00:31:24.880
It does, yeah.
00:31:25.039 --> 00:31:26.319
I yeah, and I agree.
00:31:26.400 --> 00:31:34.960
I'm I'm definitely of that same camp that it's just like there's there's more to us than what's here, like this physical body, you know.
00:31:35.200 --> 00:31:45.359
Um, so I do think there's a way that because it is ex it's its consciousness is expanded, and I think you can bring in the quantum entanglement theory there.
00:31:45.920 --> 00:31:51.519
The fact that, you know, we are not just here, we're kind of everywhere.
00:31:51.680 --> 00:32:06.720
Um, we can pick up information that is seems unintangible to us and seems uh thousands of miles away, or I don't even know, like uh just for just say it to say it, like dimensions that we can't perceive.
00:32:06.880 --> 00:32:08.480
It's totally possible.
00:32:08.799 --> 00:32:22.720
And I think, you know, if you look about even just going back to how we've developed over time, I've been recently thinking about this a lot, um, and how we're able to pick up things from the environment.
00:32:22.880 --> 00:32:34.400
Let's start with like when Marconi invented the radio, like that was never a concept in anyone's mind that we would be able to pick up these different radio stations and like, you know, all that.
00:32:34.480 --> 00:32:36.640
This was amazing, you know, we did that.
00:32:36.880 --> 00:32:42.000
And we're able to travel with different station songs, all these different things.
00:32:42.079 --> 00:32:49.039
And then we developed the television, which is kind of, you know, uh, now we're able to get picture images in our house all over the country.
00:32:49.119 --> 00:32:59.599
And then you got the internet, and we just keep again getting larger and larger scale of ways to communicate that don't involve being directly with one another.
00:32:59.839 --> 00:33:08.960
And I think there is something similar when we pick up different things that are maybe what we we can describe as our outer consciousness.
00:33:09.279 --> 00:33:20.480
We pick up these signals, and you know, sometimes they're a little bit more static-y than others, you know, but we pick it up in the same way that you can tune in and pick up a radio station or something like that.
00:33:20.559 --> 00:33:36.640
And I think soon, like we were able to kind of figure all that out throughout the past, I don't know, 100 plus years, you know, we'll be able to kind of maybe understand that a little bit better since there's been a little bit more of a focus on it scientifically.
00:33:37.759 --> 00:33:46.160
I mean, it's come to a point where the CIA has been using people to spy, remote spy at Project Stargate.
00:33:46.240 --> 00:33:46.640
Yeah.
00:33:46.880 --> 00:33:52.240
Um, I actually just took a remote viewing workshop, um, which was really interesting.
00:33:52.400 --> 00:33:54.240
I talked to you about it briefly.
00:33:54.400 --> 00:33:57.680
Um, and I was like, well, that just sounds really out there.
00:33:57.839 --> 00:34:05.200
And for those of you who don't know, remote viewing is um essentially being able to pick up on information that is not near you.
00:34:05.359 --> 00:34:07.599
You're you're viewing something remotely.
00:34:07.759 --> 00:34:10.639
Um, and they have different ways of learning how to do this.
00:34:10.800 --> 00:34:13.280
There's like this, there are different schools.
00:34:13.519 --> 00:34:30.559
Um, this the one that I was doing is basically you don't close your eyes, you don't like deprive yourself of any senses, but you uh very quickly like you be you're you're being told, okay, there's a target that you're you need to um you need to view.
00:34:30.639 --> 00:34:31.679
It's a picture.
00:34:31.920 --> 00:34:42.880
And um then the person who is doing the workshop kind of goes through different uh like questions very quickly to allow for you to kind of very quickly tap into whatever it is.
00:34:43.119 --> 00:34:48.320
And um uh ultimately, like the questions were, what color is it?
00:34:48.480 --> 00:34:49.039
What smell?
00:34:49.199 --> 00:34:50.320
Like what do you what do you feel?
00:34:50.480 --> 00:34:51.519
What temperature is it?
00:34:51.679 --> 00:34:53.599
What does it feel like if you touch it?
00:34:53.760 --> 00:34:55.519
Um, what is what do you hear?
00:34:55.679 --> 00:34:58.320
I mean, like a lot of these types of questions.
00:34:58.559 --> 00:35:00.800
And um, it was very surprising.
00:35:00.960 --> 00:35:04.559
Just it a lot of it was also like I wasn't very good at it.
00:35:04.639 --> 00:35:08.400
Like I ultimately, like, I thought I'm viewing one thing and it was like totally different.
00:35:08.559 --> 00:35:19.360
But if you they tell us to just put your critical mind aside, your left brain, where it's trying to interpret what it is, just listen to the adjectives, just see like what adjectives come up.
00:35:19.440 --> 00:35:23.119
Try not to use the nouns, because the nouns will probably misdirect you.
00:35:23.360 --> 00:35:36.559
And once you do the adjectives, I was actually very surprised of how many of these adjectives were correct in a lot of ways that were like very surprisingly correct and very uh precise in some ways.
00:35:36.800 --> 00:35:42.239
Um, but uh you need to be doing this consistently and like over a period of time.
00:35:42.400 --> 00:35:45.519
Some people are very talented and can do it very quickly without any practice.
00:35:45.679 --> 00:35:47.840
But the idea is that anyone can do it.
00:35:48.000 --> 00:35:49.360
You just need to practice it.
00:35:49.519 --> 00:35:59.280
And so that kind of goes into this idea that we all have certain capacities and our brain just doesn't like it, suppresses it.
00:35:59.440 --> 00:36:14.960
We have a lot of filtering and suppression that goes in our brain, even when our environment, like immediate environment, we filter and suppress about 90% of signals that are coming in, because otherwise we'll just be super overwhelmed with everything and we wouldn't be able to focus and function from day to day.
00:36:15.280 --> 00:36:47.519
So um it's interesting that perhaps if our brains weren't filtering, or if we learn to maybe suppress some of the filtering, we would be able to tap into being able to view things remotely or hear things remotely or tap into someone else how they're doing, which again sounds super sci-fi, but obviously if the CIA was using it and other countries were using it and they were using it successfully, um isn't there something to this?
00:36:48.000 --> 00:36:48.960
I agree.
00:36:49.440 --> 00:36:53.760
You know, like there, it's just something we just don't understand yet.
00:36:53.920 --> 00:37:04.960
And, you know, it's part of our culture that if we don't understand something, we push it aside or say it's BS or woo-woo or whatever it may be.
00:37:05.039 --> 00:37:12.239
You know, it's just, you know, if we don't have a firm understanding, so you know, but we're slowly getting there more and more.
00:37:12.400 --> 00:37:18.000
And I think, you know, obviously our government has a firm understanding of it because they're using it.
00:37:18.159 --> 00:37:24.400
And I believe there was a report that was released um that had this classified information.
00:37:24.880 --> 00:37:25.440
I read it.
00:37:25.519 --> 00:37:27.679
Yeah, parts of it, not the whole thing, but parts of it.
00:37:27.760 --> 00:37:28.559
And I was like, what?
00:37:28.719 --> 00:37:33.840
They even had like the whole like um procedure of how to do this.
00:37:34.079 --> 00:37:37.760
Like it was all written out, and some of it was actually like written in in hand.
00:37:37.920 --> 00:37:41.119
I don't think this this project is going on with AI.
00:37:41.199 --> 00:37:44.960
I think they have way better, like more precise ways of getting shit done.
00:37:45.280 --> 00:37:51.039
But I mean, by the way, I just noticed you and I are totally synchronizing in the color that we're wearing today.
00:37:51.280 --> 00:37:51.920
Yeah.
00:37:52.400 --> 00:37:52.880
Wow.
00:37:53.760 --> 00:37:58.239
And you know what's really funny is that I actually do not wear this sweater often.
00:37:58.480 --> 00:38:02.960
And I was looking through all of my clothes and I was like, hmm, what should I wear?
00:38:03.039 --> 00:38:04.239
And I have different color sweaters.
00:38:04.320 --> 00:38:07.360
I'm like, I'm really drawn to this one today.
00:38:07.840 --> 00:38:09.039
That's really funny.
00:38:09.199 --> 00:38:10.480
Yeah, I wasn't sure either.
00:38:10.559 --> 00:38:11.360
I was like, what am I?
00:38:11.440 --> 00:38:15.840
I was like, also like, oh, maybe I'll wear like a button-down shirt this and then I'm like, no, I'll wear this one.
00:38:16.159 --> 00:38:22.639
So both um Michelle and I are wearing like a burgundy type color shirt, which is really funny.
00:38:22.960 --> 00:38:23.360
Yeah.
00:38:23.599 --> 00:38:23.920
Yeah.
00:38:24.159 --> 00:38:26.960
Speaking of synchronicities, yes, exactly.
00:38:27.280 --> 00:38:28.079
Exactly.
00:38:28.159 --> 00:38:28.719
Yeah.
00:38:28.960 --> 00:38:33.760
Well, you know, it's it's very funny because I mean, I'm gonna bring it here.
00:38:33.840 --> 00:38:34.960
I'm gonna bring go there.
00:38:35.039 --> 00:38:36.079
It's like I can't help it.
00:38:36.320 --> 00:38:37.360
We've already gone so much.
00:38:37.519 --> 00:38:38.800
So I mean everywhere.
00:38:39.119 --> 00:38:40.239
What's one more thing?
00:38:40.559 --> 00:38:41.599
Let's keep going.
00:38:41.840 --> 00:38:46.800
So just the idea of filtering and everything and being here, it's true.
00:38:46.880 --> 00:38:54.159
Like the more, you know, you're kind of grounded and just in the day-to-day, there's a lot that you miss.
00:38:54.320 --> 00:38:54.639
Okay.
00:38:54.800 --> 00:38:59.840
I mean, I know for me, like being a mom, and I'm sure you being a mom, all these different things are going on.
00:39:00.000 --> 00:39:04.800
I might even miss in front of me my child, like writing on his face or something like that.
00:39:04.880 --> 00:39:05.440
You know what I mean?
00:39:05.519 --> 00:39:10.320
Because I'm so focused on, okay, we got to get to swimming lesson, we got to do this, we got to do that, you know what I mean?
00:39:10.559 --> 00:39:15.360
Um, so that's just like kind of how life is.
00:39:15.519 --> 00:39:25.920
And it's just interesting to kind of take the juxtaposition and those who maybe don't have all of the senses like we do or have different capabilities.
00:39:26.079 --> 00:40:01.039
So I'm gonna go to, I'm gonna bridge our way to the telepathy tapes and um talk about how these, you know, children who are labeled as um essentially severely um autistic, like level three autism, um, you know, they have this ability to telepathically communicate with one another and with loved ones, whether it be through dreams or just through um, you know, like just able to pass messages along, like passively there.
00:40:01.360 --> 00:40:05.920
Um, and then they, but they do, they lack some the abilities that we do.
00:40:06.079 --> 00:40:21.599
They may not be able to speak, they may um need the um a the um the communication devices in order to communicate or need assistance um in order to even do that, not even feel their bodies, you know.
00:40:21.679 --> 00:40:29.679
So it's like it's almost, and for them, it's very easy to just to just telepathically communicate.
00:40:29.760 --> 00:40:42.719
And there's so much that they're able to take in from the environment because I feel like they're they're not their their focus is more out of body compared to us being in body.
00:40:43.360 --> 00:41:02.239
So they're a good group to look at as to what's possible telepathically, and I can't wait until that documentary comes out because it's gonna reach so many people to really kind of understand like this kind of link that they are to a world beyond us.
00:41:03.199 --> 00:41:10.800
And and telepathy tapes for those of you for those of you who do not know, it's a podcast and uh it's a two-season podcast so far.
00:41:11.039 --> 00:41:11.840
It's fantastic.
00:41:11.920 --> 00:41:17.119
It's I think it's on top of uh the Apple podcast lists, uh, top five.
00:41:17.360 --> 00:41:19.599
And it's basically what Michelle said.
00:41:19.679 --> 00:41:42.159
It's about um, it started off with talking about a group of uh non-speaking autistic kids who were able to uh telepathically communicate with each other, but also read their caretakers' minds and uh be able to tap into um other people's minds um and other people's thoughts.
00:41:42.480 --> 00:41:59.199
And um they have like the hill where uh a lot of these uh kids meet basically, like a hangout place for even though they're very far apart, but their minds and their consciousness meets there and hangs out and and chats um and shares information.
00:41:59.360 --> 00:42:09.360
And again, it sounds really out there, but there's actually research being done on this, and um it and there's just tremendous to think about these possibilities.
00:42:09.599 --> 00:42:24.159
Um, so for those of you who haven't listened to telepathy tapes, whether you believe or not believe, I just think it's incredibly interesting to listen to the to the data and make your own decisions about what you're hearing and what you're um what information is being passed down.
00:42:24.400 --> 00:42:32.880
But yes, um I think that they also went into not think they did go after exploring the kids with autism.
00:42:32.960 --> 00:42:37.519
They also went into uh telepathy among animals and then plants.
00:42:37.679 --> 00:42:37.920
Yep.
00:42:38.079 --> 00:42:43.119
And so they like, they really went into like the consciousness, understanding consciousness as a whole.
00:42:43.679 --> 00:42:52.880
And the kids with autism who are non-speaking and have telepathy abilities is just like the tip of the iceberg of like, as if that's the tip of the iceberg.
00:42:52.960 --> 00:43:01.280
I mean, that sounds like pretty deep already, but there's just so much more and how much more connection we all have that we don't even realize.
00:43:01.599 --> 00:43:03.039
Absolutely.
00:43:03.440 --> 00:43:05.039
Yes, you know.
00:43:05.519 --> 00:43:19.519
Um so I just I really do think that, you know, I definitely 100% I recommend make your own informed decision of how you feel about it, but give it a try, listen to it.
00:43:19.840 --> 00:43:28.719
Kai Dickerson has made a fantastic podcast, but it really dives deep into this and it shows the evidence that they have so far.
00:43:29.039 --> 00:43:39.599
Yeah, I think they have a website, and so in as they're talking, they also give references to where you can go and see things for yourself, videos, uh research that's been done, like all of the notes basically.
00:43:39.760 --> 00:43:41.519
Because it's a it's a podcast documentary.
00:43:41.599 --> 00:43:43.440
It's done in a documentary style.
00:43:43.840 --> 00:43:44.400
Yeah.
00:43:45.039 --> 00:43:46.400
Very, very interesting.
00:43:46.639 --> 00:43:56.800
Um speaking of plants and animals, have you ever had any experiences of having like telepathic type of communication with plants or animals?
00:43:57.360 --> 00:43:58.880
Yeah, so that's a really good question.
00:43:58.960 --> 00:43:59.760
So, yeah, animals.
00:44:00.239 --> 00:44:02.159
And it was very unexpected.
00:44:03.280 --> 00:44:09.679
So I have, you know, just I meditate daily at some time, I do different forms of meditation.
00:44:10.000 --> 00:44:13.440
And I also have received Reiki many times.
00:44:13.519 --> 00:44:16.159
I get it probably like twice a year, I would say, on average.
00:44:16.320 --> 00:44:26.400
And the last Reiki session I had, um, Robin, who's done, who's amazing and is uh We need to have her come on this podcast.
00:44:26.719 --> 00:44:27.039
Huh?
00:44:27.199 --> 00:44:28.480
I need to have her come on this podcast.
00:44:28.639 --> 00:44:28.800
Yes.
00:44:29.119 --> 00:44:30.400
Robin needs to be on your podcast.
00:44:30.480 --> 00:44:34.719
She's an absolutely amazing uh master Reiki provider.
00:44:34.880 --> 00:44:40.159
Um, she had led me through this meditation during the session.
00:44:40.480 --> 00:44:46.559
And in the session, out of nowhere, my uncle's adorable little dog pops in.
00:44:46.719 --> 00:44:47.840
He's a Shiba Inu.
00:44:47.920 --> 00:44:54.639
And you, as you know, Shiba Inus are very wise and um adorable, obviously.
00:44:54.880 --> 00:44:55.519
Yes.
00:44:55.920 --> 00:44:57.039
They're amazing.
00:44:57.280 --> 00:45:01.199
And he pops into my meditation and I'm like, oh, okay, you're gonna be with me.
00:45:01.280 --> 00:45:04.400
And he just like stays by my side the whole meditation.
00:45:04.719 --> 00:45:08.639
And um, I've had other meditations where he's just there.
00:45:08.800 --> 00:45:16.320
And I kind of using referencing kind of what I learned from the telepathy tapes, I was like, let me explore this.
00:45:16.480 --> 00:45:22.000
And I'm I've thought of, okay, well, what would you, is there anything you want to tell me?
00:45:22.159 --> 00:45:28.800
And like he showed me like a kind of uh an open space and my children running around with him.
00:45:28.880 --> 00:45:31.199
I'm like, okay, you want to go to a park and run with the kids?
00:45:31.360 --> 00:45:31.679
Got it.
00:45:31.840 --> 00:45:33.119
Okay, I'm on it.
00:45:33.280 --> 00:45:36.079
Um, and then like, what would I you have me know?
00:45:36.239 --> 00:45:39.599
And like he showed me images of my brothers and stuff like that.
00:45:39.840 --> 00:45:42.000
So I made sure to reach out to them.
00:45:42.320 --> 00:45:44.639
So it's just so I've that's the experience I've had.
00:45:44.800 --> 00:45:46.880
Could it be my ego?
00:45:47.039 --> 00:45:54.480
And you could be something like where it's a kind of something that's suggestive, but rejection of your mind.
00:45:54.880 --> 00:45:55.760
Yeah, exactly.
00:45:55.920 --> 00:45:58.719
But it's weird that he just came into my Reiki session.
00:45:58.800 --> 00:46:04.159
Like that, just like I I wasn't, I had no, I wasn't thinking about him or anything like that.
00:46:04.320 --> 00:46:05.599
And just I see him at my feet.
00:46:05.679 --> 00:46:06.880
I'm like, oh, you're here.
00:46:07.119 --> 00:46:07.440
Okay.
00:46:07.840 --> 00:46:14.000
And I feel like since that Reiki session, and I could be biased, but I just feel like he's a lot closer with me.
00:46:14.079 --> 00:46:19.599
And he's just like very, like much more attentive with me every time I go over there and see him and stuff like that.
00:46:19.840 --> 00:46:31.119
So I mean, I don't have any great evidence like I did when I had the situation with my great grandfather helping me, my grandfather, but it's something similar where I do feel like there's something that could be developing there.
00:46:31.199 --> 00:46:39.920
Or I mean it could be, it could definitely still be something that's my, you know, my so my subconscious, but I I think there might be something to it.
00:46:40.079 --> 00:46:45.199
You know, I just haven't, I don't have the really great evidence to support it yet.
00:46:45.599 --> 00:46:46.159
How about you?
00:46:46.320 --> 00:46:49.519
Have you had any sort of situations like this that you could speak of?
00:46:49.840 --> 00:46:55.920
You know, I kind of wish I had some of the types of uh communication that you had with this Sheba.
00:46:56.400 --> 00:47:05.920
I have two dogs, my cat died last summer, and I don't think I've had connections with them like this, even though I wish I did.
00:47:06.400 --> 00:47:25.840
The most prominent one that comes to my mind, and I think I may have talked about this at some point on one of the podcast episodes, is um I was in Mexico and um I was traveling solo and um it was kind of a very transformative trip for me.
00:47:26.079 --> 00:47:32.159
This was in 2015, yeah, spring of 2015.
00:47:32.880 --> 00:47:48.960
And I was um visiting one of the Mayan sites, and I had this experience, like it, it I literally like my whole body just became attuned and it was very tingly.
00:47:49.360 --> 00:47:56.239
It was like my my um I don't know, like it felt like all my hair was like standing on end.
00:47:56.400 --> 00:48:00.880
And then I could swear that the trees were communicating with me.
00:48:01.039 --> 00:48:08.320
Like there was this rustle of wind, and like the trees were moving and the the leaves were moving.
00:48:08.480 --> 00:48:14.159
And I felt like I was somehow harmonizing with the trees and with the sound.
00:48:14.400 --> 00:48:20.159
It was, it was honestly bizarre and so serene and surreal.
00:48:20.239 --> 00:48:21.760
I didn't, I really didn't know what to make of it.
00:48:21.840 --> 00:48:27.920
It's like you're you're experiencing something, you're like, you're in it, you don't know what to make of it.
00:48:28.079 --> 00:48:32.000
Um, but that's the only thing I could say is like some kind of communication.
00:48:32.159 --> 00:48:33.920
What I got out of it, I have no clue.
00:48:34.000 --> 00:48:45.519
Like it wasn't like a message that was sent to me, but it was just like real-time um synchrony, I guess, like of me and the trees and like this buzz.
00:48:45.679 --> 00:48:50.239
And like I, I like the whole tingling of myself and just feeling it.
00:48:50.400 --> 00:48:57.280
And the tingling, it's like the feeling of like where someone is telling you something and it you're just like, oh my God, that feels really true.
00:48:57.360 --> 00:49:03.679
And like you have like this body reaction where um it just resonates somehow, like a resonance.
00:49:03.840 --> 00:49:05.119
That's that's the word I'm looking for.
00:49:05.280 --> 00:49:09.920
A resonance between myself and what was going on with the trees.
00:49:10.159 --> 00:49:11.599
I still don't know how to explain it.
00:49:11.760 --> 00:49:15.840
It would hope only happened that time, never happened before, never happened again.
00:49:16.079 --> 00:49:17.440
But that was time.
00:49:18.000 --> 00:49:37.679
I also wonder, like, you know, where you were, was there something about the energy of that site that kind of could have been harmony that like some sort of like allowed some more like kind of frequency vibing between you and the surrounding nature around you, you know?
00:49:37.840 --> 00:49:38.159
Totally.
00:49:38.239 --> 00:49:46.639
So this was a Mayan ancient site, but from what I heard, the person who was giving us a tour, he was um a shaman in training as well.
00:49:46.800 --> 00:49:52.960
And he was telling us that the Mayan people still come and do certain ceremonies in this particular place.
00:49:53.199 --> 00:50:04.480
So it is very possible that there was uh some sort of already like an energetic aspect to the place um that heightened it, but it was difficult to leave.
00:50:04.639 --> 00:50:05.440
I didn't want to leave.
00:50:05.599 --> 00:50:07.599
And it was almost like a trance.
00:50:07.840 --> 00:50:08.320
Mm-hmm.
00:50:08.880 --> 00:50:09.599
Interesting.
00:50:09.760 --> 00:50:11.119
That's very interesting.
00:50:11.360 --> 00:50:26.559
I almost wonder like it feels like when I when I hear you say that, it almost feels like the trees were providing you with some sort of healing and restoration, like active restoration, like you would almost get from a Reiki session.
00:50:26.800 --> 00:50:28.400
That's what it feels like to me.
00:50:28.480 --> 00:50:30.320
Am I am I misinterpreting it?
00:50:30.400 --> 00:50:33.119
I mean, would you say there's something to that, maybe?
00:50:33.360 --> 00:50:34.639
I would say it's more.
00:50:34.800 --> 00:50:38.239
So Reiki kind of provides more of like a calming.
00:50:38.559 --> 00:50:40.480
This was almost activating.
00:50:40.719 --> 00:50:44.880
It was like it was calming and activating at the same time.
00:50:45.039 --> 00:50:47.119
And this is where I don't really know how to explain it.
00:50:47.280 --> 00:50:57.920
It was like a f uh, it was an physiological physical experience that I like like how if you imagine like how would trees communicate to us?
00:50:58.000 --> 00:50:58.320
I don't know.
00:50:58.400 --> 00:50:59.119
Like what would they like?
00:50:59.199 --> 00:51:00.480
It's not a typical communication.
00:51:00.559 --> 00:51:01.440
Like we have no idea.
00:51:01.519 --> 00:51:04.880
They're a different type of living being in a way.
00:51:05.119 --> 00:51:19.360
So I don't know what that communication would even look like, but I I'm imagining like somehow I knew it was communication, but it was somehow because I was resonating and synchronizing with them.
00:51:19.519 --> 00:51:23.679
So it was active, but yet harmonious.
00:51:24.719 --> 00:51:25.679
So interesting.
00:51:26.000 --> 00:51:27.119
I I I don't know.
00:51:27.199 --> 00:51:32.559
Yeah, it sounds, it sounds really bizarre, but um, but it is like that's that's how it was.
00:51:32.719 --> 00:51:36.320
I remember coming out of it feeling like, what just happened?
00:51:37.440 --> 00:51:38.480
That's incredible.
00:51:38.719 --> 00:51:42.480
I mean, on that trip, there were a lot of other things that happened that were very meaningful to me.
00:51:42.559 --> 00:51:55.440
I remember we were doing the Tamaskal ceremony, which is like this hut, like a clay hut that uh has like a clay dome and it's dug into the ground partially.
00:51:55.840 --> 00:52:08.800
Um, so you go into it, and when you sit on the floor, you're essentially sitting in the ground, and then they cover the door, and there's like a central pit and they put a lot of hot coal and it gets very hot.
00:52:08.880 --> 00:52:10.480
It becomes a sweat lodge inside.
00:52:10.639 --> 00:52:15.360
And so you have this, the shaman who goes in and does the ceremony.
00:52:15.440 --> 00:52:18.880
There's like a special ceremony that's being done with the with the Tamascal.
00:52:19.280 --> 00:52:29.039
And um, it's it's uh supposed to be like a Mayan ceremony traditional that a lot of the Mexican traditional people in that area of Tulum still keep.
00:52:29.199 --> 00:52:40.000
Um and I remember so he was singing, like you start sweating, and he was singing and you sing too to kind of resonate with it.
00:52:40.239 --> 00:52:43.440
And I remember it's it was it's pitch black in in there.
00:52:43.599 --> 00:52:52.159
The only thing you see are like sometimes like if these coals have a little bit of color from the fire, like you see it, but once it gets a little bit cooler, you you see nothing.
00:52:52.239 --> 00:52:53.519
It's pitch black.
00:52:53.840 --> 00:53:01.920
And um for people who are like me who are kind of like claustrophobic, it's it's uh it's not comfortable, it's not fun.
00:53:02.159 --> 00:53:05.280
Um so you I really had to do like a lot of deep breathing.
00:53:05.440 --> 00:53:21.840
And I remember opening my eyes um as in one of the sessions as he was singing, and I could swear I saw like there was like a light that kept going around and around and around the Temascal, like as if like there was like an energetic, some kind of a light.
00:53:22.000 --> 00:53:24.480
And I was like, what is that?
00:53:24.719 --> 00:53:27.840
And I I don't think I was seeing things.
00:53:28.000 --> 00:53:30.639
It's I don't think it was in my own like vision.
00:53:30.800 --> 00:53:32.480
It was like it was 3D.
00:53:32.800 --> 00:53:35.920
Um and so that that was an interesting one.
00:53:36.079 --> 00:53:41.519
Um, and then I remember when we went to explore caves locally.
00:53:42.000 --> 00:53:47.519
Um at some point, I could swear I heard a jaguar roar in the background.
00:53:47.760 --> 00:53:54.719
And it was a a place of traditional like Mayan ceremony where they did like a lot of underground type stuff.
00:53:54.880 --> 00:54:00.079
Um and I could have that was actually, I'm sorry, that was not in Mexico, that was in Belize.
00:54:00.159 --> 00:54:02.719
I heard that in Belize, but also Mayan sites.
00:54:02.960 --> 00:54:04.639
Um yeah.
00:54:05.039 --> 00:54:06.320
That's pretty crazy.
00:54:06.559 --> 00:54:10.880
That's like that's I would I would label that as like an animal communication, if you will.
00:54:11.199 --> 00:54:13.920
A Jaguar from the past was roaring at me.
00:54:14.239 --> 00:54:24.320
Well, speaking of uh from the past, like you you jogged my memory um when I was uh doing readings and stuff, like with uh mediumship readings.
00:54:24.559 --> 00:54:42.239
I remember dogs coming up, and that was validated of past loved ones coming with their beloved pets that also crossed over that come through, and um the sitter will validate that yeah, that's definitely that that dog was real.
00:54:42.400 --> 00:54:42.800
Uh-huh.
00:54:42.960 --> 00:54:43.440
Yeah.
00:54:43.920 --> 00:54:46.880
Which also goes back to the whole consciousness thing.
00:54:46.960 --> 00:54:52.960
And, you know, uh, there's a consciousness that exists, and yeah, Jaguar, what who knows where that jaguar came from?
00:54:53.119 --> 00:54:56.159
Whether it was a jaguar that was sacrificed, who knows?
00:54:56.239 --> 00:55:01.840
I but that's, you know, it's just there's certain things that right now we just can't explain.
00:55:02.000 --> 00:55:05.599
That happens, and we have to acknowledge it.
00:55:06.159 --> 00:55:19.679
And hopefully one day, you know, I think probably I give it 100 to 200 years, we might have a better understanding of it similar to all the other progress we've made over the past 200 years.
00:55:19.920 --> 00:55:20.559
Hmm.
00:55:21.920 --> 00:55:40.800
Yeah, I was actually recently thinking about totally kind of related to the animals thing, is that um how a lot of uh traditional ancient cultures uh kill animals for food, but in a very honoring way.
00:55:41.039 --> 00:56:00.400
Like, yes, like we understand that we're taking your life for you to to provide sustenance to our bodies, but there's like um like a lot of Native American um tribes used a lot of respect for the animals that they kill, and um, and a lot of other cultures throughout the world as well.
00:56:00.719 --> 00:56:07.119
So it just made me wonder how much wisdom we have lost to.
00:56:07.360 --> 00:56:09.199
Like we are advancing in so many ways.
00:56:09.280 --> 00:56:12.559
And yes, you're saying like a hundred years from now we'll understand more.
00:56:12.719 --> 00:56:23.760
But I wonder how much we already did understand in the past and we just forgotten that knowledge or thought it was not useful because it just seemed archaic to us and we let go of it.
00:56:23.840 --> 00:56:34.159
But how much of it was actually true wisdom about connecting with the universe and connecting with other consciousness and how we do it at large, and we've lost it.
00:56:34.239 --> 00:56:35.199
Like we just don't have it.
00:56:35.360 --> 00:56:39.679
We buy our meat from the supermarket, we have no idea how it was killed.
00:56:39.840 --> 00:56:44.880
We find out that it was killed inhumanely and the animals were raised inhumanely, and then we're like, oh shit.
00:56:45.039 --> 00:56:47.840
And then half of us are like, well, too bad.
00:56:48.079 --> 00:56:57.840
And then just the life is just so different now than when we killed our own animals and ate it, and like we were responsible for the life we take and how we did do it.
00:56:58.000 --> 00:57:07.360
It just feels like, yes, maybe in a hundred years we'll we'll advance, and maybe we'll come back to some of the wisdom we already did have that we lost.
00:57:07.679 --> 00:57:12.639
Yeah, I mean, it's just very interesting, you know, that you go back to this.
00:57:12.800 --> 00:57:21.679
I was recently uh listening to a podcast, and I don't remember which one it was, but talking about this kind of ancient wisdom.
00:57:22.000 --> 00:57:25.760
Um, and also I've been some reading that I've recently done.
00:57:25.840 --> 00:57:30.880
Uh, shout out to Laurelyn uh Jackson and her new book, Guided, really good.
00:57:31.119 --> 00:57:35.679
Um three-fourths of the way done, and kind of touches on this as well.
00:57:35.760 --> 00:57:37.840
So I'll probably bridge the two together.
00:57:38.159 --> 00:58:08.079
But um there's this thought that there has been so much ancient wisdom going back centuries, centuries, of just like different herbal remedies and different um uh things that were used, and the idea of psychedelics and the use of psychedelics in order to kind of bridge that gap of um how we perceive consciousness.
00:58:08.320 --> 00:58:16.960
And and now we're using it for mental health, which is phenomenal and great, um, and is very helpful, I feel, for a lot of people.
00:58:17.039 --> 00:58:19.280
Um, and I'm sure you could test to that.
00:58:19.519 --> 00:58:40.239
Um, but there was gatekeepers, and um, these gatekeepers included um religious leaders like the Catholic Church did a lot of gatekeeping on this, I've heard, and I'm sure there are others I can just reference that because I know that for a fact, that they would suppress the use of these kind of psychedelics and different potions and things like that.
00:58:40.480 --> 00:59:00.800
And what I've heard, and um what I from different podcasts is a lot of these people who would do these were like considered more high priestess, and it's the women who would have these different potions, and eventually, in order to kind of alienate them and try to kind of keep people from going them, they labeled these women as witches.
00:59:01.039 --> 00:59:23.360
Witches, witches, and so um that eventually kind of suppressed that and kind of put it out of favor, and that's kind of where the culture kind of lent to, just kind of moving away from these natural kind of ways of just um, you know, healing the body naturally, you know, like similar your Temascal, like that ceremony.
00:59:23.440 --> 00:59:44.079
Um, in Laura Lynn Jackson's book, she kind of referenced it, but the the the thought of grounding, where um Native Americans, I don't remember which tribe specifically, but um they're some one of the Native American Southwest nations, they would dig uh like a hole in the ground.
00:59:44.400 --> 00:59:48.239
And um, the reference was to a child who is extremely sick.
00:59:48.400 --> 00:59:55.199
Uh, like sounds like the child in in in my world would be someone who's probably septic and maybe heading towards septic shock.
00:59:55.440 --> 01:00:02.480
The child was placed on the ground and left there in the sun to just kind of breathe and get through it.
01:00:02.559 --> 01:00:11.360
And then within 24 hours, the child was essentially heading in the right direction and ended up living their regular life.
01:00:11.519 --> 01:00:19.119
Um, and I feel like there's something similar to the Temascal where you're kind of putting yourself on on the ground and then you're sweating it out.
01:00:19.199 --> 01:00:27.599
You're like kind of releasing, there's a release to it, but also the grounding of it too that you know that is also useful and is now trying to be incorporated.
01:00:27.679 --> 01:00:36.480
And many people are using, I know down in near me in Delray Beach, they have a Temascal as part of their rehab for substance abuse down here.
01:00:36.559 --> 01:00:38.719
I think it's US.
01:00:38.880 --> 01:00:39.280
Yeah.
01:00:39.599 --> 01:00:52.079
Pretty sure it's the only one in the US, but it's specifically for the rehab center that they have that in order to kind of help process just different things that they may be going through, which I think is super cool and awesome.
01:00:52.239 --> 01:00:54.480
Um, and it it goes back to that.
01:00:54.639 --> 01:00:55.440
But you're right.
01:00:55.599 --> 01:01:10.079
I mean, there's a lot that could continue to be suppressed just because of how our society works and what is deemed worthy of being important versus not important.
01:01:10.480 --> 01:01:18.239
Um, and you know, the pendulum is also swinging in a way that's moving away from science in a different way, too, which we don't have to go there.
01:01:18.480 --> 01:01:27.599
But I don't, I don't necessarily think that that pendulum will include these kind of more natural remedies.
01:01:27.679 --> 01:01:33.840
And even at so, like we would still need to somehow figure out a way to test them to make sure that they are safe and everything like that.
01:01:33.920 --> 01:01:35.440
I totally believe in that.
01:01:35.840 --> 01:01:44.880
Um, but I do think that you're you have a point in that a lot of this may continue to be suppressed just over centuries.
01:01:44.960 --> 01:01:55.519
It's been kind of, you know, what's been done by higher leadership and um those who see themselves as the overlords.
01:01:55.679 --> 01:01:56.800
I don't know how else to put it.
01:01:57.280 --> 01:01:58.400
Overlords, I like that.
01:01:58.559 --> 01:01:59.440
The overlords.
01:01:59.679 --> 01:02:01.679
The overlords say so.
01:02:13.199 --> 01:02:14.880
Which is really interesting.
01:02:15.039 --> 01:02:19.679
I think it happened over and over again throughout centuries.
01:02:19.840 --> 01:02:25.280
There are lots of different like examples of where wisdom and history was lost.
01:02:25.599 --> 01:02:32.239
Um, but I I wonder kind of, and then and I guess this is an entirely different subject.
01:02:32.400 --> 01:02:34.079
How did how do how do we do that?
01:02:34.719 --> 01:02:36.000
How do humans do that?
01:02:36.159 --> 01:02:56.639
We have so much knowledge that has been acquired and so much wisdom, and yet it feels like sometimes we get into a position of where we become totally stupid and uh get rid of the wisdom and say, like, oh, this is poppycocks, and then just move into some other direction, which may be interesting, um, but we lose that wisdom.
01:02:56.800 --> 01:03:20.880
So I wonder if sometimes the road to innovation means losing some other aspect, which makes sense because I guess if we're talking about filtering and suppression and we only can handle a certain amount of information without getting overwhelmed, maybe in order for us to move into a direction that's completely new, we sometimes need to suppress what we already know and we just put it aside.
01:03:21.199 --> 01:03:22.079
True.
01:03:22.480 --> 01:03:34.559
That definitely could be the case, you know, like and another thought I had is just like I feel like sometimes in humanity, it's normal.
01:03:34.719 --> 01:03:41.440
It's like part of how kind of humanity works, is like we kind of work in groups.
01:03:41.599 --> 01:03:46.559
And so if we want to try to keep the group together, like doing the same thing.
01:03:46.800 --> 01:04:06.079
So I feel like in culmination with what you're saying and like how we can only take in so much, and that you know, our natural tendency is to be in packs and groups, like we're gonna want to try to get the whole group to accept one unilateral thought, like one singular thought to keep the cohesion.
01:04:06.159 --> 01:04:16.320
So, and I think that kind of both kind of entangle and play together into kind of why we continue to move in the direction we do and decide what's important versus what's not important.
01:04:16.559 --> 01:04:19.360
No, that makes really that makes a lot of sense.
01:04:20.239 --> 01:04:40.159
So I guess to kind of go back to tying this all together from what we started in terms of intuition, I guess it sounds like you and I both believe that there is definitely more to intuition than just rapid unconscious processing of information that our brains take in um locally.
01:04:40.320 --> 01:04:42.320
Like there, there is more to all of this.
01:04:42.559 --> 01:04:52.800
And I think you and I both agree that while we can try to use some quantum mechanics to possibly explain it, it's just in the beginning baby stages of trying to explain it.
01:04:52.960 --> 01:04:55.519
And there is just so much more we just cannot explain yet.
01:04:55.760 --> 01:05:02.159
But there is research being done to try to at least show that these things are happening.
01:05:02.480 --> 01:05:13.360
How to explain it, I think we're still like pretty far away from trying to explain how, but at least we're getting data showing that it is happening, that these things are real.
01:05:13.920 --> 01:05:19.760
Um it's just yeah, it's just kind of hard to understand why.
01:05:19.920 --> 01:05:23.920
So for those of us who just want hard data, uh sorry.
01:05:24.159 --> 01:05:26.719
Yeah, can't yeah, we're not there yet.
01:05:26.880 --> 01:05:31.039
But I I think there we're it's promising and we're getting there.
01:05:31.280 --> 01:05:32.719
And I love how we're matching.
01:05:32.800 --> 01:05:33.199
Just love it.
01:05:33.360 --> 01:05:33.679
Me too.
01:05:33.760 --> 01:05:35.119
Matchy matchy.
01:05:35.440 --> 01:05:36.000
All right.
01:05:36.639 --> 01:05:38.880
Lightning round question number one.
01:05:39.360 --> 01:05:42.800
If you were an animal, which animal would you want to be?
01:05:43.360 --> 01:05:46.239
Oh, well, depends on the day, I think.
01:05:46.400 --> 01:05:55.360
Um, I feel like most of the time these days, I really would love to be like an osprey, like a hawk, you know, like a bird of prey.
01:05:55.599 --> 01:05:57.519
I just think they're so beautiful.
01:05:57.679 --> 01:06:07.280
I see them uh, you know, in the winter here in Florida, they're always around like all these beautiful, majestic hawks, and I just love seeing them soar.
01:06:07.679 --> 01:06:13.519
So, and I personally, like whenever I have like those really awesome dreams where you control, it's usually flying.
01:06:13.599 --> 01:06:15.920
Like, I feel very connected to birds.
01:06:16.000 --> 01:06:18.000
So I would think I would want to be an osprey.
01:06:18.320 --> 01:06:19.280
Interesting.
01:06:19.599 --> 01:06:20.400
What about tomorrow?
01:06:20.480 --> 01:06:21.920
What are you gonna want to be tomorrow?
01:06:22.159 --> 01:06:23.280
Maybe a tiger.
01:06:24.000 --> 01:06:28.239
See, that that I think I would have guessed more than an osprey.
01:06:28.400 --> 01:06:33.199
So I could just lie down, eat my meat, chill, watch a little reality TV.
01:06:34.719 --> 01:06:36.320
Call count my stripes.
01:06:36.559 --> 01:06:38.079
Count my stripes, exactly.
01:06:38.239 --> 01:06:39.199
Go hunting.
01:06:39.440 --> 01:06:41.280
Aren't my stripes pretty?
01:06:42.400 --> 01:06:43.840
Put some glitter on them.
01:06:44.159 --> 01:06:44.719
100%.
01:06:45.440 --> 01:06:46.239
Absolutely.
01:06:46.400 --> 01:06:47.119
Come on.
01:06:47.440 --> 01:06:52.480
For those of you who haven't met Michelle on the previous episode, Michelle is a glitter queen.
01:06:52.719 --> 01:06:53.519
Yes, I am.
01:06:53.679 --> 01:06:54.079
Yes.
01:06:54.239 --> 01:06:57.519
I mean, like, I don't know if you could see my nails and appreciate them.
01:06:57.920 --> 01:06:58.880
They're quite glittery.
01:07:00.639 --> 01:07:02.800
Lightning question number two.
01:07:03.519 --> 01:07:05.760
What did you want to be growing up?
01:07:06.559 --> 01:07:07.119
Doctor.
01:07:07.840 --> 01:07:13.679
Well, before the doctor, did you ever have a moment of like, I want to be a poop cleaner or something like that?
01:07:13.920 --> 01:07:15.840
So it's so funny you say that.
01:07:16.000 --> 01:07:26.480
Like, I remember being on the subway when I was four years old, coming home from preschool with my grandmother, looking around me, just like looking around the subway.
01:07:26.559 --> 01:07:31.519
And I just, I feel like this might be the first thought I could remember myself having.
01:07:31.760 --> 01:07:37.519
Like thinking, I don't understand why anyone would not want to be a doctor.
01:07:37.599 --> 01:07:42.159
It's the best way that you can take care of your family.
01:07:42.480 --> 01:07:46.239
And I it's been a fulfilled prophecy for me.
01:07:46.559 --> 01:07:47.519
For sure.
01:07:48.800 --> 01:07:50.960
That's been one of the best ways I could take care of my family.
01:07:51.039 --> 01:08:03.840
I mean, there's many other wonderful ways I do, but no, but I've always like toyed with the idea of also like maybe I could be a hairdresser or maybe I could be Oprah Winfrey, you know, like things like that.
01:08:04.000 --> 01:08:17.359
Just because I have like such a presence and I, you know, I like to have fun and I just I did acting for a little while in high school and I won some competitions with um solo dramatic performances.
01:08:17.680 --> 01:08:18.000
Really?
01:08:18.079 --> 01:08:18.880
I did not know that.
01:08:19.680 --> 01:08:20.159
Did you really?
01:08:20.319 --> 01:08:32.560
Yeah, I used to have a play, a one-girl play, where I was four different characters, and I placed a couple of times, like third place, like broke into the top three, you know.
01:08:32.720 --> 01:08:40.239
So yeah, and I was I was an Annie and I was in a comedic play where I played Cinderella, like, yeah.
01:08:40.560 --> 01:08:41.760
Go you, Michelle.
01:08:42.399 --> 01:08:43.439
So maybe Oprah.
01:08:43.600 --> 01:08:45.119
If I wasn't this, I would be Oprah.
01:08:45.520 --> 01:08:46.880
Okay, okay.
01:08:47.760 --> 01:08:49.359
There's always a next life.
01:08:49.680 --> 01:08:50.560
There is.
01:08:52.079 --> 01:08:53.600
Or maybe that's the past life.
01:08:53.680 --> 01:08:54.000
Who knows?
01:08:54.159 --> 01:08:54.479
Who knows?
01:08:54.720 --> 01:08:56.800
There's no time, it's all like happening all at once.
01:08:56.960 --> 01:08:57.600
That's right.
01:08:57.760 --> 01:08:58.640
That's right.
01:08:59.119 --> 01:08:59.680
All right.
01:08:59.920 --> 01:09:01.680
Favorite food or drink?
01:09:02.159 --> 01:09:03.279
Favorite food or drink.
01:09:03.439 --> 01:09:13.840
My favorite food, I would have to say, is right now I'm like really into my parmed phase of life where I love chicken palm, shrimp parm, eggplant parm.
01:09:13.920 --> 01:09:15.039
I love things that are parmed.
01:09:15.119 --> 01:09:18.079
It brings much joy to my life to have melted cheese.
01:09:18.239 --> 01:09:28.239
And my favorite drink would probably be water with my hydromate electrolytes that are candy flavor or my morning cafe con leche that I have.
01:09:28.319 --> 01:09:34.159
That I the cafe con leche is wonderful, but the water with whatever vitamins you have, that's such a dork drink.
01:09:34.239 --> 01:09:35.279
I'm sorry.
01:09:35.920 --> 01:09:41.279
Well, I will drink my dork drink happily.
01:09:41.520 --> 01:09:43.119
As I'm wearing the glasses.
01:09:44.239 --> 01:09:45.199
Exactly.
01:09:46.960 --> 01:09:47.279
Okay.
01:09:47.840 --> 01:09:50.880
Wait, so you eat shrimp with cheese on top?
01:09:51.119 --> 01:09:53.439
Girl, that's how I survived my pregnancy.
01:09:53.680 --> 01:09:54.880
Like with my kids.
01:09:55.520 --> 01:10:04.319
Like it's it's breaded shrimp with with the marinara sauce and then the the parmesan cheese, like the mozzarella cheese and everything.
01:10:04.479 --> 01:10:12.800
Like I I started doing this when I was in high school because like every time my family, like every Friday was like Pizza Friday or whatever.
01:10:13.039 --> 01:10:15.600
And I just love shrimp.
01:10:15.760 --> 01:10:21.359
So I got in the habit of having shrimp parm heroes or like chicken parm heroes and stuff like that.
01:10:21.439 --> 01:10:22.800
And it's just something I carried through.
01:10:22.960 --> 01:10:27.439
And like when I was pregnant, I was with my two kids, I was constantly craving that stuff.
01:10:27.600 --> 01:10:28.079
Yeah.
01:10:28.319 --> 01:10:29.279
I love it.
01:10:29.840 --> 01:10:31.359
Um, Dr.
01:10:31.520 --> 01:10:35.199
Michelle Marin, thank you so much for being on the show again.
01:10:35.439 --> 01:10:38.399
And uh I really appreciate you chatting with me.
01:10:38.560 --> 01:10:41.520
It's always wonderful, and I love seeing you.
01:10:41.760 --> 01:10:46.079
And uh we're gonna have to have you back for season two.
01:10:46.319 --> 01:10:49.920
Um, I'm not really sure what we'll talk about yet, but I'm sure we'll come up with something.
01:10:50.239 --> 01:10:51.119
We'll figure it out.
01:10:51.199 --> 01:10:52.000
Thank you so much.
01:10:52.159 --> 01:10:58.319
It's been my pleasure, and I really, really loved being on your podcast again.
01:10:58.479 --> 01:11:02.319
Look forward to speaking with the audience once again.
01:11:02.479 --> 01:11:03.119
Thank you, Dr.
01:11:03.279 --> 01:11:04.079
Conboy.
01:11:04.319 --> 01:11:04.880
Thank you, Dr.
01:11:05.039 --> 01:11:05.439
Marin.
01:11:05.520 --> 01:11:06.800
Doctora Marin.
