ABOUT THIS EPISODE
It’s an Exorcist overload every Friday for HALLOWEEN HUMPFEST 4 and we made a last minute decision to merge the next two Exorcist films into one conversation for our first ever DOUBLE FEATURE because, as it turns out from the weird backstory we tell in the episode, EXORCIST: THE BEGINNING and DOMINION: PREQUEL TO THE EXORCIST are kind of sort of pretty much the same movie with some casting and storyline differences. The former is directed by Renny Harlin and the latter is actually the film that was initially made by Paul Schrader. The studio brought in Renny after test audiences complained about the Schrader cut and that’s what hit the theaters. The following year, 2005, we get Schrader’s version directly to DVD. There’s ups and downs and painful moments in both versions but which one edges the other out? Also, if you like multiple movie clips played at the exact same time then this is your show.
