ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of Screams from the Basement, hosts Casey and Sam sit down with filmmaker Chad Ferrin to chat about his chilling new true-crime thriller, Dorothea. The film dives into the story of real-life serial killer Dorothea Puente — the seemingly sweet Sacramento "killer granny" who hid a horrifying secret behind her boarding house walls. Chad opens up about his journey from Midwest roots to Hollywood, the wild ride of indie filmmaking, and how he keeps his sets creative and positive!
Dorothea is available now on VOD via Dread Presents and Epic Pictures.
