ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Podcast: The Outdated Wrestling Hour With Bob Smith podcast – now heading toward its fourth year – offers veteran fans (as well as curious younger ones) a chance to reminisce about classic mat action from years gone by. The show is hosted by Bob Smith, the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine who also enjoyed a long history with other famous titles. Co-host Joe Puccio (GenerationXWire.com) offers a younger perspective on old wrestling before the duo ushers in guests from throughout the professional mat landscape.
The Topic: The Outdated Wrestling Hour continues on with another look back at how much pro wrestling has changed since the 1970s with a show called “Movers & Shakers” – and we welcome back podcaster Steve Gennarelli for look back at the behind-the-scenes people responsible for many of the great TV shows, cards, and stars that we’re all so fond of. We’re talking the men and women who ran and booked some of the major wrestling territories back in the days when there actually were territories. It’s The Outdated Wrestling Hour, your weekly reminder of the simpler yet exciting days of classic old school wrestling!
