Speaker 1: Here's more Mark Simone on 710WOR. Whoa, hey, a lot going on. Obviously, it's Election Day tomorrow. Make sure you go vote tomorrow. There's no early voting today. You can't early vote today, but go tomorrow. Polls will be open until 9 o'clock here in New York. Bruce Blakeman all over the state today. He is campaigning like crazy. He's in Buffalo. He's downstate. He's in Long Island. He's just crisscrossing the state today. Kathy Hochul, the plan is to raise taxes everywhere as soon as she's reelected. I can fund the programs we want for health care and child care and education and make this and continue the investments in infrastructure with our current fund. I don't believe in raising taxes just for the sake of raising taxes. No, she's raising taxes to hand out contracts. You know, whenever they say infrastructure... You always think the airport is suddenly going to look like the magnificent airports of Europe, modern. No, no, no. It's just to hand out contracts. Infrastructure. Well, they'll take care of those roads. You've seen this go on for years. You've heard this for years. The roads never change. It's always the same potholes. They just move them around. But again, it's tax and tax and tax and hand out contracts, contracts, contracts, contracts. Daycare for everybody. They Forget to tell you, there's not enough daycare, and it's only open until 2, which doesn't do anybody any good. But it's closed in the summer. But it's contracts. It's contracts to hand out. So she will, if she wins, we hope that's not the case, will be taxing you like crazy on every little thing from gas to roads to everything. Everything. Property tax will go up. So, yeah. Now, you're going to hear all over the news that Blakeman, that Hochul has a 15-point lead, he's got a 10-point lead. None of this is true. These are those crazy, rigged, stupid college polls, media polls, where they don't include Republicans in the sample, and if they do, Republicans are only like 20% of the sample, which is absolutely preposterous. In the real polls, the deadly accurate real polls that the candidates use, they're pretty much tied. They're neck and neck. They're within the Margin of error. That's why Hochul went nuts in the last week spending $ 6 million on attack ads going after Blakeman. You don't do that when you think you've got a 15-point lead. You do that while you're in real panic. I'm looking for the numbers. I can't find them. Somewhere here. Let me see. I've got the numbers on spending. I think Hochul has spent $ 23 million. Yeah, here it is. Hochul spent $ 24 million in this campaign. She has spent $ 24 million. Blakeman has spent $ 21 million. Now, this doesn't count all the PACs out there. There's these super PACs that are spending a fortune all over the state, but spending pretty even. Speaking of taxes, Blakeman signed a pledge over the weekend. No new taxes. He pledged to not raise any taxes, challenged Hochul to sign it, and she has not. She so far will not sign it. Now, don't forget, tomorrow you can vote to get rid of Letitia James. There's a great Republican candidate for attorney general, Sarita Kamataredi. Excellent. She would be a great attorney general. Letitia James has been a terrible attorney general, weaponizing her office, engaging in lawfare, messing up things. They assigned her the Cornell case. She immediately had to recuse herself because she already convicted the guys in public, which makes it impossible for her to go to court. Not to mention the fact that she's never prosecuted a criminal case in her life, doesn't know a damn thing about it. So she right now is in the, even though she's appointed to prosecute it, she's now looking to hire a real prosecutor to prosecute it. She's just a mess. And this came out over the weekend. There was a lot of, uh, homeless shelter operators that were robbing the government, you know, like these Medicare scandals. It's all fraud. They claim to be taking care of homeless, and they're not. They're fake shelters. So a lot of them got caught. Now, there's three of them that were supposed to be probed, but they're big donors to Letitia James, so she decided not to go after them. She made an exception for these three big donors that were given a fortune to her campaign. This is exactly the kind of abuse the Attorney General It's supposed to investigate, but she let it go. So throw her the hell out of office tomorrow. Martha Stewart, whatever impression you have, it's probably wrong. In real life, this Martha Stewart is cold, nasty. Martha Stewart in real life. And sometimes can be very stupid. Remember that insider trading thing? It was absolutely ridiculous the way she handled that and ended up putting herself in jail. But she can be cold and awful and nasty. So she had a problem over Halloween. You know, whenever there's a holiday, she always posts holiday pictures of her 4th of July stuff and this and that. So for Halloween, she puts up a picture of her in her costume. She put up a picture this year that was just very offensive. It was her dressed up as a homeless person smeared dirt all over her face, holding a sign begging for food. The sign said, I am hungry. Help me. She was like, it was so offensive. It was like she's mocking homeless people. I mean, it was terrible. So she put this up. As soon as it went up, everybody must have called her, her friends. She's got a great PR person. Susan Magrino, brilliant PR person. She must have called him, take that down, get that down, take that down. That's offensive. So it quickly was taken down, but a lot of people saw it and screen grabbed it. So they have the pictures of it that she posted it. It was just awful. She puts this offensive, terrible, cold, cold hearted picture up. And then she includes a thing below it about how she's selling, candles on qvc and you should buy her halloween candles well the photo was quickly removed but too many people uh got screen grabs and now it's all over the place you can go online and see it it's just stupid offensive uh mom donnie and trump now trump has been meeting with mom donnie they talk on the phone all the time they text all the time uh Mamdani does it because it's the president of the United States. This guy can release a lot of money to New York, and he is the most powerful man in the world. So the kid Mamdani never had a job before. It's a big thing to be talking to the president, have his ear. Why does Trump do it? Well, he loves New York. He loves New York. He wants to protect New York. He's no Mamdani fan, but that's the way he is. Whether it's Putin, whether it's Mamdani, even if you hate the guy, talk to him, meet with him, see if he can get something out of him, see if he can make friends with him, see if he can negotiate with him. So it's come out that Mamdani has asked for a few favors from Trump, and Trump has done them for him. One of them was there was this terrible shooting in New York. A mother from Ghana here in this country, living in the Bronx, her little son is going to school, 15 years old, chased by some bad guys. They end up shooting him. No reason for a perfectly innocent kid. You can even, if you look at the video, it's just horrible. You see the kid sees these people and starts to run. They run after him, chase him, and shoot him right in the street. It's just a horrible situation. Apparently, the mother was still in Ghana, unable to come to this country. He was living here with relatives. But Mamdani called Trump and asked him to quickly give this woman a visa so she could come to the U.S. and grieve with the family. and asked President Trump to do it. He said, of course, I'll do it. I'll get her here. I'll get her a visa, and we'll get her here to the U.S. so she can mourn her son in person. It's just a humanitarian thing to do, and that kind of favor Trump is always happy to do for somebody. But it also tightens up that relationship with Mamdani. He did him a favor. Mamdani kind of owes him a favor now, so we'll see. If the worst-case scenario Democrats Crazy socialists win everything tomorrow, takes total control of Congress. Two things will happen. The president says he'll veto everything they do, forcing them to make some kind of deal. The other thing that will happen is the next day after the election, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pardons are going to be issued for everybody in the Trump administration, pardons for everybody in the Trump family, pardons for everybody connected to Trump. because the Democrats, the one power they will have, they can hold hearings. They'll hold hearings for everybody in the family, everybody in the administration. And not that these people have done anything wrong, but if they hold the hearings, everybody's got a lawyer up. It could end up costing everybody a million dollars apiece in legal fees. So pardons, they're already drawing them up. They've got lists of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people. They've been drawn up. Should the Democrats, I don't think it'll happen, but should they win both houses, you'll see the president spending about two hours signing them all. Not with an auto pen, really signing them all. Hey, the other thing that's going to happen right after the election, no matter who wins, no matter who loses, once it's settled, once the election is over, if you're living in Tehran, If you're living in Iran, you might want to get the hell out of there because they're going to finish up the operation in Iran. Soon as the election is over, I know they've been having peace talks all week, and they say the peace talks with Iran, they're trilateral, they're being held in Qatar. They say it's going well, but a day or two after the election, they've got target packages put together. They may take out the whole leadership of Iran. The peace talks, as I say, are going well. That's one reason oil is dropping. Let me see. Yeah, still down $ 7 a barrel. That's a lot for one day. Down $ 7 a barrel in one day. California got these tight races out in California. The AI giants are donating like crazy to Democrats. Anthropic had just pumped a million dollars into the Democratic Party. They're spending millions and millions. They got Elon Musk. He's kicked in almost, I think, 500 million. He's like the George Soros, the big billionaire donor of the right. Hey, by the way, in case you don't know, Netanyahu has won in Israel, and he still has not put together a government. He hasn't gotten the necessary 61 seats, but he has officially won the election. Still doesn't have enough seats, but we'll see what kind of deal he makes. I just want to point out, That this is what I'm talking about. They have the same thing in Israel. Same problem. They got the fake polls, these fake media polls, college polls where they under sample over. So they use the wrong demos. They rig the polls. So in in the Israeli election, same thing. They showed Netanyahu losing, getting wiped out over and over and over. But Netanyahu won by four point five percent. He wasn't like the fake polls claim way behind. He won. And the only pollster that was right was the real pollster, John McLaughlin. He does, uh, polling for the Netanyahu campaign. He was the only one that got it right over there. So good for him. Uh, president Trump, um, uh, busy and he's going to do, uh, eight teller rallies today did 20 over the weekend. Uh, he'll probably do a couple election days. So that'd be 30 teller rallies. He was in three States all over the place. Uh, He played that clip before about Vietnam, talking about how he'd win the Vietnam War in a week. I would have won that war in one week. I would have won the war in Afghanistan in a very short period of time. And the only reason why I'm not finished with Iran is I want to be nice. I want to try and save all those lives if I can. And they're sitting there with a very bad... But at some point, we're going to have to give them the hammer. Hey, here's a great... This is real fake news. This is the New York Times. The fake news, New York Times. Big expose came out over the weekend. Linda McMahon, she's the cabinet member who runs the Department of Education. Linda McMahon, big scandal, New York Times. Linda McMahon spends 43,000 for new furniture. 43,000 for new furniture. Okay, first of all, this would be the first time in history ever that the New York Times ever cared about government spending Every department in the government is wasting $ 40 billion every week on everything. The New York Times never mentions it, never cares. A trillion dollars in government waste every year. They never mention it in the New York Times. This $ 43, 000 bothered them. Well, the truth is, this is not Linda McMahon spending $ 43, 000 for some expensive furniture for her office. That's not at all what happened. She decided to move the Department of Education. They're in a big, enormous building they don't need. So she's moving them out of that building to a much smaller building. They don't need all these floors and all these... Moving them to a smaller building, which will save the department $ 5 million a year. And apparently when they left the old building, the furniture there is like 40 years old. It doesn't even fit or look right in the new building. So because they're moving to a new, more modern building, they're getting new furniture. The old furniture is ridiculously outdated. Now, of course... If you read the New York Times headline, you get the totally wrong impression. You look like it was just total waste. Anyway, so we've got a lot coming up. Oh, we'll get to Johnny Carson coming up. There's some Johnny Carson news and stories. We'll get to that. We'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. Hey, we always like to hear from new callers. Give me a call. 800-321-0710.
