ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Mahjong tournament season has officially hit the Hamptons—and the Mahj Bros are breaking down every tile, triumph, and bit of drama. From first-time tournament players to seasoned competitors, questionable etiquette, dead hands, slow play, and a surprise champion, this week’s Mahjcast is all about what happens when social mahjong gets competitive.
Jason and Ira recap the entire tournament—including Ira’s pre-game stress, Jason getting his hand called dead, the players who shocked themselves by crushing it, and the final podium. Plus, the event supported a local charity, Hamptons Community Outreach, proving once again that bringing people together through mahjong is a huge part of what the Mahj Bros are all about.
