ABOUT THIS EPISODE
This week on the Labor & Energy Show w/JDoc & Krausey, Ericka Perryman, Vice President of Communications at the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), joins the show to discuss the latest battle over California’s emissions and electrification policies.
The conversation examines six California Clean Air Act waiver rules that the EPA has transmitted to Congress for review under the Congressional Review Act, including Advanced Clean Cars I, greenhouse gas emissions standards, small off-road engines, and regulations affecting ports and marine vessels.
Ericka shares AFPM’s perspective on why the organization is urging Congress to act on the six measures, the potential implications for consumers and manufacturers beyond California, and the broader debate over how much authority California should have to establish emissions standards that can influence policies nationwide.
