ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Doug Pederson has experienced championship football from nearly every angle: Super Bowl-winning player, Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, longtime NFL quarterback, and now CBS Sports analyst. In this episode, we go inside a remarkable football life filled with some of the biggest names and moments in NFL history.
Doug takes us into quarterback rooms with Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Jim McMahon, and Andy Reid, including what it was really like trying to catch passes from Marino and Favre and the nonstop pranks that kept Green Bay loose. He also explains how his years as a backup quarterback helped him prepare Nick Foles after Carson Wentz went down during Philadelphia's championship season.
Then we get the full story behind Super Bowl LII and the Philly Special: the Eagles' underdog mentality, facing Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, Nick Foles suggesting “Philly Philly,” and what Pederson experienced during those unforgettable final seconds.
