ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Internet's Worst Gaming Podcast returns!
Join hosts Loki Jarson and Jo Stizzy as they break down all the latest from Gamescom 2026!
Was the Geoff Keighley-hosted Opening Night Live show a complete waste of time or just kind of? Did cool-looking games like Exodus, Tides of Annihilation, Warlock, No Law and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation offset all of the bad? Are there too many gacha/FTP games? Is Gamescom the stepchild of major game showcases?
Then, a breakdown of Grand Theft Auto 6's extended look from Netflix.
Will the new mechanics make it more annoying to be a criminal? Will Lucia be too overbearing of a character? Is it fair to have reservations based on presumed evidence? Will this still be the biggest game of the last decade?
All that, plus, a brief discussion of DLSS 5's implementation and Xbox's plan to preserve physical media by making it digital.
Enjoy today!
