ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Know your value and let nobody steal your worth.
In this episode of the Go Deeper Podcast, Steven and Amber break down why the way you view competition will either expand your business or quietly shrink it.
Dunkin Donuts is almost always next to Starbucks. McDonald's next to Wendy's. They are not destroying each other. They are driving more people to the area and everybody wins. The moment you stop fearing your competition and start collaborating, everything changes.
When a corporate gym opened right next to Steven's gym his members panicked. He did not. His gym got busier. Because when you know your worth, competition becomes the best marketing you never paid for.
Amber opened her entire playbook to agents from competing brokerages and watched her business grow because of it. Because the wisdom you give out always comes back to you tenfold.
They also make a point that reframes everything. If churches on every corner are supposed to welcome everyone and work toward the same mission, why would any business owner treat their neighbor any differently.
You are your own biggest competition. You will never lose business because of someone else. You will lose it because you stopped showing up.
