ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Show Notes:
In this episode of the School of Professional Design podcast, we dive into the importance of structure when it comes to bringing your vision to life. You've already decided who you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have. Now, it's time to build the structure that will support your transformation and help you achieve those goals.
Key Takeaways:
- Shaking things up: Transformation requires rearranging the old structures that no longer serve you. It’s time to shake things up and start building the foundation for your new life.
- Aligning your personality: Your personality—not the persona you've created—should be the foundation for your new life. It’s time to tune your life to the feelings you want to experience, such as health, freedom, and flow.
- Removing what doesn’t fit: Like decluttering your home, it’s important to remove the old structures, habits, and relationships that are standing in the way of your new chapter.
- Permissions and boundaries: To move forward, you’ll need to give yourself new permissions and remove outdated agreements that no longer serve your growth.
- Solving new problems: Life will always have challenges, but by choosing the right problems to solve, you’ll find greater satisfaction and growth.
- Creating a sustainable practice: Practice is essential to long-term growth. It should feel like play, but it should also improve you and move you closer to your goals.
- Bringing things to completion: Performance is not about acting, but about bringing things to completion. Completing the right things ensures that you keep progressing on your journey.
In this episode, you'll get a detailed look at how to create the right structures that will allow you to live out your vision. From aligning your personality to setting new permissions, this episode provides actionable steps to turn your dreams into reality.
