ABOUT THIS EPISODE
🎙️Welcome back, cinephiles, to a final episode of The Eh List Admission! 🎧
🎙️ This week on The Eh List Admission, we’re talking inheritance schemes, quiet midlife reckonings, brutal serial killers… and a little honesty about where this podcast might be headed 🧡🎬
First up — Movie News
🕊️ We reflect on the passing of Robert Duvall
🕊️ Eric Dane has also passed away after his battle with ALS
📺 Warner Bros. is reportedly considering Paramount’s higher bid over an existing Netflix deal
🕵️♀️ McKenna Grace has been cast as Daphne Blake in a live-action Scooby-Doo series
💣 Mission: Impossible 9 is reportedly in the works with Tom Cruise
🎥 Movie Reviews — Here’s what we watched:
💰 How to Make a Killing — A sharp, darkly funny satire about a disowned heir plotting “accidents” to reclaim the fortune he believes is his. Slick, morally messy, and driven by ambition at its most obsessive.
❄️ Midwinter Break — A quiet, reflective relationship drama set against wintry Amsterdam canals. Tender, introspective, and deeply human — a meditation on marriage, aging, faith, and the endurance of love.
🔪 Psycho Killer — A grim, relentless crime-horror thriller following a highway patrol officer hunting the sadistic “Satanic Slasher.” Brutal, tense, and unafraid to go dark.
🧡 Second Half: The Eh List Admission — To Be Continued…
Before we get into anything heavy, we start with gratitude.
If you’ve listened to even one episode, you’ve been part of this weird little movie club we built.
We talk honestly about:
🎙️ The reality of podcasting costs
⏳ Time, balance, and creative energy
🎬 Not wanting movies to feel like homework
❤️ Still loving film — just maybe in a different way
This isn’t about hating what we built.
It’s about protecting why we built it.
Maybe this is a season finale.
Maybe it’s a pause.
Maybe it’s just a reset.
But one thing hasn’t changed: we still love the movies.
