ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of Texans 22, we’re joined by Robert Mays to break down the Houston Texans’ 2025 NFL Draft strategy. We discuss what new OC Nick Caley brings to the offense that Bobby Slowik didn’t, and the key positions Houston must upgrade—from the interior offensive line to defensive line and wide receiver.
Should the Texans stay put at pick 25 or trade down for extra second-round picks? We analyze potential first-round targets like Tyler Booker, Walter Nolen, Luther Burden, and more. Plus, what’s the best way to fix the WR room around Nico Collins, and should the Texans add another tight end or running back to complement Joe Mixon?
We also take a look around the AFC South—how the Colts, Jaguars, and Titans are approaching the draft, and which team poses the biggest threat to Houston in 2025.
It’s a must-listen for Texans fans looking ahead to the draft!
