speaker-0: Definitely. You said Thaddeus. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I told you on the phone, hey man, Thaddeus. I ain't hung up on title. Yeah.
speaker-1: Doctor Thadis, or you may just say Thaddeus. ⁓ Man. You you have been man, the moment we first talked, we felt the Holy Spirit pretty much speak to one another. Yeah. I felt a peace just such a joy when you were speaking. Yeah. And I didn't say nothing at first, but then you spoke up. Yeah. Yeah. That was exactly what I was thinking.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah, the day before you gave me a call. Yeah. You know, setting up the time we was gonna meet out on the job site. Yeah. And I said, something up with that dude. You know, I said, That ain't the typical contractor's voice, you know. So it was yeah, I knew. I knew.
speaker-1: And it and the same man when I spoke to you, it was just like there was just a calmness, a piece in your voice. And it's like, Man, that's you know, it's ⁓ not in a weird way, but it was attractive. I'm like, man, you know, and then come to find out it's the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit appointment. Yeah. And ⁓ man, I felt like we clicked right off the bat. And so indeed. So for you guys, that is, you are man, you're in an awe. You so you're a minister, you have your own social media ministry.
speaker-0: I I think we did.
speaker-1: You ⁓ you're an author of many books. Here you got The Resurrected Man, The Will of God, Escape. ⁓ you got you a three hundred and sixty five day devotional. Man, dude, you ⁓ you're you're it all and you also ⁓ you're big time in the Army Corps of Engineering. Yes. Maybe we could talk about it a little bit. You've even been in Afghanistan, Iraq, ⁓ what Baghdad
speaker-0: Yeah nobody. Yeah, we're ⁓ in Iraq I was in Baghdad. Yeah. Yeah in ⁓ Afghanistan I was in at Mamar. Up north. Yeah. Northern ⁓ Afghanistan.
speaker-1: Okay. ⁓ So you are the perfect guest for the show. We might even make you permanent. ⁓
speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. Hey, I'm just cross breed.
speaker-1: Yeah, we're we're on the wrong side of the tracks. Y'all on the upper scale. Yeah, man. But dude, ⁓ I'm excited about today. I'm excited to hear about what all God's done in your life, ⁓ and what led you to be a published author. ⁓ such an impactful minister, man, who's really just out here trying to share the love of Jesus Christ, share his grace, and obviously like point people into the identity that they was created to be in.
speaker-0: Exactly.
speaker-1: And I exactly I've watched a lot of your videos, and especially you talk about the resurrected man. That was a very great video ⁓ you did, that show you did. And ⁓ it spoke a lot to me. Mm-hmm. ⁓ because there's a specific thing you said that I always felt and it was all awesome to hear somebody else say it. Talk about a sinner saved by grace. Mm-hmm. Now I understand the concept, you know, we are sinners saved by grace. Yeah. That's not my identity. What's a sinner saved by grace for a nanosecond?
speaker-0: That's not your idea. Yeah, you know. Yeah, you
speaker-1: And now I am a beloved righteousness of God because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ. And so you said that. It was like, Thank you, Lord. Or somebody else has said it.
speaker-0: Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. We are who we are because of who he is. You know, he died on the cross to save us, to redeem us from sin, bring us out of darkness, put us in the light, and that's where we have to live from, from the light. Not trying to get victory, but living from victory. We have victory in him. See, it's not about us, it's about him. Come on. And our connection with him. He's divine, we're the branch.
speaker-1: Absolutely mm. That's right.
speaker-0: Stay connected to the vine and you'll receive the life of the ⁓ of the vine as the branch. Yeah, yeah. So so it's very important that we we understand who we are in Christ. Absolutely. Because of Christ.
speaker-1: That is the beginning, that is the fin the starting line and the finish line right there is knowing who we are in Christ and knowing who God is. You know, the true heart of the Father. And I know last episode I spoke about it talking about the prodigal son. Is what to me is the ultimate view of the heart of the Father. You know and so yeah, ⁓ I'm excited to get into all this. ⁓ before we get started, I got a gift for you. This is from our friends at the Hero Company. So
speaker-0: Yeah. View. Right. Right. Yeah. All right.
speaker-1: Right there is ⁓ the bracelet. I think it's never forget, ⁓ but don't tread on me bracelet. ⁓ huh. ⁓ it is heavy.
speaker-0: Like heavy I le yeah, I I like heavy stuff. ⁓ yeah, yeah. ⁓ yeah.
speaker-1: So but yeah, no, that's our friends of the hero company. All the the proceeds go to soldiers that struggle with PTSD. Right. ⁓ which is a really big thing. Yeah. So we're just honored to support
speaker-0: Yeah, well, ⁓ that PTSD thing is a is a it's a it's a powerful thing. And it's a real thing. It's a real thing. And I just had recently we just I just had a cousin of mine commit suicide. ⁓ man. He was in Operation Desert Storm. He served in the ⁓ in the army. He was in the airborne. Yeah. And ⁓ he took his life about a month ago and ⁓ found out that he was dealing with that and plus, you know, he He had lost a son a year or so ago and it just life. Yeah. You know, life and ⁓ and he ended up, you know, thank God he was born again. Yeah. You know, he was born again. So
speaker-1: I'm a firm believer, man. You know, there's a teaching out there or well there's a saying and I know what they say, but they're wrong. But talking about if you committing suicide, yeah, ⁓ it's ⁓ you don't get to heaven. Man, that's not true. And I know they say that because you commit murder and you don't have to repent or whatever. Yeah. No, man. For you to take your life, it's not murder. It's not that's not murder, man. You're hurting. ⁓ but it is a permanent solution to or it's a yeah, it's a
speaker-0: Right. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
speaker-1: Well, how would you say a permanent solution to a temporary problem? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I know that's easier said than done and what these soldiers Yeah. ⁓ these soldiers face some ugly stuff.
speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. Very ugly stuff. Very ugly stuff. I you know, when I was in Iraq, the the chapel was at in the bottom at the on the bottom floor of the hospital. Yeah. And one day I had to walk up to the chaplain's office and I passed by some of the rooms of the wounded. They were messed up. Man. You know, and I saw some things. And even my father, my father was in the hundred first he was a hundred first airborne. Okay. And he served in Vietnam. ⁓ He got shot five times. Yeah. Yeah, that was real ugly.
speaker-1: Vietnam or something.
speaker-0: In one side out the other. He had a hole in his side. Yeah, and they brought him home and my dad was a big guy. He was about as tall as you, Nick. Yeah. But he was, you know, he was built. Yeah. And when I saw him, man, he looked like a little kid. He had lost all that blood, lost a lot of weight, they had shaved his head. And ⁓ so and then eventually, you know, he ended up getting ⁓ addicted to drugs and things of that nature. So
speaker-1: ⁓ yeah.
speaker-0: I've seen that side. Yeah. Then when I saw it me being in the war zone and saw those guys laying on those gurneys, you know, in the rooms, legs missing, arms missing, just laying there, you they go through a lot. They go through a lot.
speaker-1: Yeah, I I'm sure that it makes a person's perspective when they see the American flag and you hear someone talk about the military. It would change your perspective. I have friends that was in the military and they there's some things they don't want to talk about just 'cause they they don't want to go through it again. I mean they're they're literally trying to get it out of their mind because it was horrible. Right. ⁓ but I know I I'm forever grateful for our military man. Forever grateful. They they they literally walked through hell.
speaker-0: Right. Yeah, I am too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: Well man, I'm super excited to let's hear what you got for us today. man, wherever you want to kick it off, ⁓ childhood, ⁓ where God just kinda and all to where God's led you at now. Awesome, mighty man of God that you are now.
speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Hey man, I'm I'm I'm like everybody else, man. Yeah, sure. Yeah. You go.
speaker-1: Before we get started, you want to pray. Yeah, you want me? You Heavenly Father, Lord, we just thank you for this opportunity to come together, Lord, as brothers in Christ, to just share the light that is in out in this dark world. God, the the one place that we can find hope, that we can find peace, to where we have received grace, though we couldn't earn it or deserve it. Lord, you have given us the gift of grace. And God, you have g shown mercy upon us, Lord. So we are here right now just to shine that light. God, that we're just so grateful. We're overwhelmed by the goodness. Thank you. By the goodness, Jesus Christ that you are. So Lord, we love you. God, I prayed for Thaddeus, ⁓ that as he just speaks, God, that it just be power in his words, God, and it'd be an anointing that comes and flows through him.
speaker-0: Yes.
speaker-1: God, that we just impact, even if it's just one person out there that needs this word right now. But God, we're we're believing in abundance. Lord, that ⁓ there's a multitude of people. Yeah, Lord, that is hurting you out in this world. God, there's a multitude of people, God, that we pray that right now that will receive this truth and receive this hope that we have, Lord. Thank you. God, we love you, Jesus, and we give you all the glory and all the praise in your heavenly name. Amen. So, brother, kick it off wherever you want to kick it off.
speaker-0: Thank you. Amen. Amen. All right. All right. Well I once again I appreciate you having me, Nick. And ⁓ again it was it was an honor to meet you on the job site. I knew from then, you know, we were gonna have a relationship. Not that we have to talk every day or anything like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I felt that brotherly connection. Sure. You know, and and there's not too many people in the world that that connection is made I I'm able to make that connection with, you know. Yeah. And so what you see with me is what you get. You know, I'm gonna be real, but I'm a born again man of God. Come on. Been following the Lord for a long time and ⁓ been growing, still growing. I'm sixty five and still growing. ⁓ a couple of years ago the spirit of the Lord told me, said Maurice, that's my middle name. Maurice is my middle name. He said, Maurice, you know you're not too grown to grow. And I said, What? He said, You're not too grown to grow. And I said, I understand. I totally understood. But, you know, I was born in I was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Okay. Okay. in nineteen ninety six and ⁓ went to high school there, grew up there, junior high elementary, junior high, ⁓ in high school. In ⁓ seventy-nine I graduated. I went to Tennessee State University. That's where I got my ⁓ Bachelor of Science degree in architecture engineering. Okay. Once I graduated from there, I ⁓ I ⁓ got the job with Mobile District Army Corps of Engineers and right after graduation, eighty six, my wife and I moved down here. that while I was growing up, my grandmother was a minister. She was a AME minister and so she was the first woman preacher that I ever seen. Yeah. And she used to pray for me all the time. You know, she was long winded. You know, you call on the phone, you're on the phone with her for two days, you know, 'cause she constantly but things she instilled in me, yeah, you know, about God, you know, and I wasn't living for the Lord, but it was something Well she I knew she was speaking the truth. And and and and thank God those seed was rooted in me, sawn in me, and then they begin to develop into who I and help me to become who I am now. Now that was a religious background, you know, so I had church I had church, you know, and I knew that when I did go to church, attend church services, that was something about my week. Yeah. That was different than the week before when I didn't go. Yes. So I knew that there was a God. ⁓ and a matter of fact, as a little kid, they yet they had one of these little swing sets out in the yard and I used to go out there and singing the sit in the swing and swing and sing sweet low s what was it? Swing low sweet chariot. Yeah. That that's what I knew, you know. Yeah. And and I I remember conversing with God during those times as a young kid, you know, and ⁓ but didn't know the fullness of what it was all about. But the the roots was there, the seeds were there. And so as I, you know, went through college and stuff like that, I I was molested in church, you know, as a young kid. And that that was I think the beginning of something that I started dealing with when I got into junior high school. Yeah. You know, sex, ⁓ got con ⁓ got addicted to pornography and ⁓ because with the person that molested me was a homosexual.
speaker-1: That's right. ⁓
speaker-0: So in that, in that whole thing, that that put a whole different dynamics because I began to deal with thoughts of what it would be like to be with a man. Yeah. Didn't didn't fall for it. Yeah. But what what wonder what that's like, you know? And ⁓ that's when I realized that's when I began to realize that there was a transference of spirit. Yeah. But because of the seed that my grandmother had sown, And I knew that being with the same sex was saying it was wrong. Not that being with the opposite sex out sex outside of marriage is wrong. Yeah. But homosexuality, that's a no go. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. That's very good. You know? So so I was able to to ⁓ sustain from entertaining those thoughts about being with another man. Yeah. And that led me to a lifelong ⁓ journey of How do I get away? How do I get away? Took me throughout throughout ⁓ high school, college, you know, I couldn't hardly I almost didn't finish college because of that addiction. Yeah. You know, I'll find myself in these movie theaters looking at the same movie three and four times a week rather than be in my dorm studying. And it was just that. And I knew it was wrong, but I didn't know how to get out. But I kept persevering, kept persevering. And finally one day I got baptized with the Holy Ghost and and be then began to receive knowledge about the infilling of the spirit, praying in tongues. When you pray in the spirit, you pray in the perfect will of God. And then, you know, I would find myself sitting at the computer looking at that stuff. And I was over here in Mobile ⁓ one time. I came over here for a class. And that was a place downtown Mobile that showed adult movies. And I was in standing the tall My room was at the hotel down there, the the tall one. I forget the name of it. But I was sitting up in there and man, that whole th I couldn't even ⁓ think. You know, I was just like tormented. That I s I saw the three red X's early on and I was like, man, I'ma go, I'm gonna go, I'ma go. By this time I'm in Bible school. I'ma go, I'ma go, I'ma go. But I kept I kept resisting and ended up I fail, ended up going there, but it wasn't the same sensation. Yeah. So I knew that because that was a wasn't the same sensation that something had changed inside of me. So I was sitting there watching, watching the movie, and and I was like, Lord, help me get out of here. And I just couldn't get up out of the seat. But I wanted out of the seat. Yeah. I said, Lord, help me. And then I heard him say, pray in the spirit. I started praying in tongues and I immediately got up and walked out. Come on. Never turned back. Never turned back. So, you know, I went through all that. I saw my dad get shot up in Vietnam, going back a little bit, got shot up in Vietnam, went through all of that. Him and my mom had, you know, marital problems and things of that nature. And ⁓ so I saw all of that. I saw all of that. And so that was a lot to that I experienced as a child that led over into me going to college and then into my marriage and things of that nature. So but ⁓ once we got to Bible school. You know, I began to learn about the God man, mm-hmm, the resurrected man. But the the way that the the my the instructor taught it then it was the God man, who you are in Christ, you know, and ⁓ you have authority and power over the enemy. And that that you know, you have the power in your words to to cause your life that would that you can speak and believe as you believe them, speak and confess them and decree them. and it'll take place, you know, you begin to see changes in your life. Absolutely. And so as I began to do that, my life started to change. Started to change. My wife and I been married ⁓ as of ⁓ May of this year forty years. We we have three kids. My oldest son j ⁓ hadn't been too long turned forty. And then my my my middle son, ⁓ he's in the middle, he's thirty six. He'll be thirty seven this month. And ⁓
speaker-1: That's right
speaker-0: I have a daughter, she's she's thirty five and she'll be thirty-six this month. I got we got six grandkids, ⁓ wonderful grandkids. They they you you talk about your little man, you get all them jokers in the room. It is it's like woo you know, you just they have free reign. But I'm grateful and I'm I'm blessed to be able to ⁓ share, you know, what God has done in my life and it and it hadn't been for him, man, I wouldn't be who I am today. His it his love for me has been very important. Absolutely. No matter how bad I've messed up in the past, that doesn't define me. Come on. My relationship, his word, he defines me. And if we walk in that grace and rest in who he has created us to be, then we'll be able to go a long way. That's right. I may be jumping around a little bit, but it's coming up as I as I go. I go with it. But
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: You know, I I just I just feel like share my testimony can help someone else win. Yeah. You know. The scripture tells us that we overcome the enemy by the word of our testimony in the blood of the Lamb. That's it. Our testimony, when we share our testimony, our testimony is a banner of victory. That's right. It's saying, Look, say you once had me, but I got the victory. I'm walking tall now. Yeah. You know, and it's not you or me bragging about ourselves. It's It's about the goodness of God. You prayed at this moment. About the goodness of God and his workings in us. That's it. And and a lot of time that that that causes us it's challenging. Not necessarily mean it's easy. No. But you have you have to learn how to yield. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But he said my yoke is easy and my burden is light. ⁓ So that's a win win. That's a win-win.
speaker-1: It's the opposite of easy. Yeah, that's right. But the only way you receive that easy if you giving it to him
speaker-0: Yeah. If you give an end exactly and and remember grace. Right. It's all about grace. Grace frees us. Grace frees us from striving. 'Cause we it ain't about ⁓ it's about rest.
speaker-1: Yes Yeah. That's it, man. We it ain't about strike. That's it. How often did did Jesus just go off by himself and just Yeah. You know? And and so like, dude, that's to me that's the biggest that's the biggest part. The biggest issue. I I think, especially here in America, I don't think we understand the grace to the point of like what just how powerful did it did Jesus' death like just how much does it cleanse us? You know
speaker-0: Rest. Just rest. Just rest.
speaker-1: It is finished. Yeah. He said, it is finished. That means no more. ⁓ my god. We belittle Grace. Yeah. Just to be honest with you. I think and to the point and one of the biggest tactics I think that Emmy does is when we mess up, you know, when we fall short, we all s we all all of a sudden just like think, well, you know, like I just started all over. I just screwed up again. Yeah. You know what I mean? And I was like, I mean, I think we belittle Grace. ⁓ and I believe and I'm speaking that the blood that Jesus shed upon that cross, mean it covers all my sins. Yeah. And even the sins I committed. Now that I got I must retain to keep coming to him with a repented heart.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You gotta let that go. Yeah.
speaker-1: Yeah, I'm I'm not belittle it. I'm not saying like what how does Paul say it? Does this mean that sin may abound or whatever? Like no, I sin no more. I'm not giving you ⁓ what is it, a key to sin. Right. I'm not giving you the the license, I'm not doing that. Yeah. I'm not saying that. But I think we do belittle grace.
speaker-0: No more. Yeah. License to Yeah, we do, we do, and have and but but here again, grace grace teaches us to deny ungodliness. All right. And just because we fall doesn't mean still, here again, that still doesn't mean that we're not the righteousness of God. That's right. So and you when you hear your past mistakes call you from the past, it's just a echo. It's just a echo to keep you from moving forward.
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: But I have this I have this phrase, being an engineer, you know, sometimes that kinda kick in. Yeah. It and w and when I was in ⁓ taking physics, it we was talking about Friction. You know, you move forward, that's a what the direction you're going, that's a opposite direction. Yeah. So so you need friction to move forward. Yeah. So the downfalls, the things that we do when we fall, just use it as to traction. Use friction for traction to move forward. Repent, like you said, acknowledge it, take ownership of it, give it to the Lord. And keep moving because because you don't fall all the way back to ground zero when you mess up. Yeah. You just messed up where you were. So you pick up where you were and you keep moving. So so that's that's how I view the my walk with God. You know, when I mess up, man, I I'm quick to repent. That's right. When he brings it to me, I'm I'm quick to repent and acknowledge it, take on it and I ask him for help. And and it's it's it's
speaker-1: That's right. That's right.
speaker-0: Being dependent upon him because we we're not going to be able to do it on our own. We got to depend on him. Yeah. We have to depend on. Absolutely. And and you know, ⁓ so with that being said, you know, ⁓ the the my book, The Resurrected Man, just recently I was I was I was ⁓ driving in to work and the phrase solid state came up in my spirit. Solid state. And the Lord said, look it up when you get to work. So I looked up the meaning of solid state. And solid state, a solid state device is like a LED light. It's like a solid state hard drive for your computer. But the difference between a solid state device and something that's not of solid state is that the solid state device functions from its internal The internal process. Not the external. And being born again, we are to function from our inner convictions. Yes. The word of God. We fun we function from grace in the finished work of Calvary. That when we received Jesus, we received a whole different life. ⁓
speaker-1: Right. That's right.
speaker-0: He didn't re he didn't restore the old. He recreated you. We became new. My wife had this phrase. She said, Maurice, I said, yeah, babe. She said, new means new. So we're new. That's right. We're new creations. Yeah. In Christ. And so we're it's it's our past done. I I can't say it enough, but our past do not define who we are. Amen. We'll define
speaker-1: Yeah, that's right.
speaker-0: By the Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. And his blood. Let me let me share this about the blood. The human blood, what circulates in our body? So does the blood of Jesus. See, we have in our mind that we've been washed one time by the blood of Jesus. Mm-hmm. But the blood of Jesus is continuously circulating.
speaker-1: That's right. That's right. ⁓
speaker-0: Just like our natural blood, his blood is continually continuously circulating. Now, the blood, the natural blood has two functions. It nourishes your organs. And check this out, it carries away the waste. So how much more the blood of Jesus? It nourishes us and it washes away the seed. Right. It washes away the contaminants. It washes away the things that we've done outside of him. Yep.
speaker-1: That's
speaker-0: It's a continuous purging of unrighteousness. You know? And so we have to I I hope I'm making sense. No, you do. You know, I'm not trying to I ⁓ it's so many things come in my mind. Yeah. But these are things that I've learned over my over the years of being born again. It's a continuous it's continuous because if blood stops circulating, what it does? It clots. And when the blood clots, there's no flow, there's no life.
speaker-1: Yes. That's right. That's right.
speaker-0: So we have to yield to that and be mindful that we're constantly, we're in a process. As long as we're here on earth, we're gonna go through a process. Yeah. And each day that blood, you have to be mindful of the blood of Jesus. It's cleansing and washing your mind. It's cleansing and purging our hearts of every evil work. It's a continuous cleansing. Yeah. Continuous cleansing because he's working us in order to present us. As a bride without spot or blemish. And so we have to learn how to work out our salvation. That's it. Work it out. You work it out by obey hearing and obeying. And then he gives you the grace to obey. He gives us grace for grace. He gives us grace for grace. We have to have grace to function in grace. See,
speaker-1: That's right. Work at just That's right.
speaker-0: And and so that's and and it's all about him doing the work. We can stop striving because it's nothing you and I can do to make ourselves better, Nick.
speaker-1: The I can't go to Walmart and stay holy on my own. No, right? Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-0: Go to Walmart. Yeah. Exactly. We we and we have to be mindful that he's with us everywhere we go.
speaker-1: Absolutely. And he's always working, like you said, so and what you brought up about the blood, mm ⁓ remind me there was a time I was up on stage and I w we was going through worship, doing a worship and our youth pastor is up front with all of our ⁓ youth and everything and I felt the power of the Lord say speak something to her. She was dealing with a heart issue, I believe it was. It was a heart issue, it was just having complications. And she was very frightened about the whole situation. Mm-hmm. Well, I felt the power of the Lord come upon me and it's like, I want you to speak this over. And I started speaking and what the Lord was told me said that anything that was inside her body that is not that it's not of God to demand it to leave her body. Mm-hmm. And and I spoke that I was like, if there is anything flowing into your heart that is not of the Lord, I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Amen. And so and at that moment the youth prayed over her. Mm-hmm. And the youth prayed over her. She said she never had an issue after that. She had some like concerns or whatever. But the issue or whatever it was that was a a I guess attacking it if I want to say it was her heart. Whatever it was, man, the the the blood is always working. Like you said, man. It is always working. Yeah. And it's and it's refining us. It's purifying us. Yes. ⁓ you know, and so yeah. There I I I love what you said. Blood is always at work.
speaker-0: Yeah, it's always at work. It's always at work. His blood, his spirit is always at work. Amen. And his grace is sufficient. It's you know, Paul had that thorn in the flesh. Yeah. But you know what? He didn't let he didn't allow it to stop because he understood that the Lord's grace was sufficient. Yep. You know. So we just have to maintain that connection with the Lord, you know, keep him in the forefront of our minds and like hey.
speaker-1: That's right. That's right.
speaker-0: He's with you when you go to Walmart. He's with you when you go to public. He's with you when you're driving to work. He's with you at work. Right. You know, I have a hard time being at work because I'm I'm I'm focusing and trying to hear what he's saying to me. ⁓ You know, I find myself sitting out there at the computer sometime not doing my work. Now that's wrong. But but hey, a at this point, I don't care.
speaker-1: I don't say in this episode.
speaker-0: Because there've been plenty of times he walked in often. I've just been sitting there. He'll ask say, What you doing? I said, Nothing. Yeah. I'm just sitting here reading. Yeah. He'll see me read. Yeah. You know, but ⁓ I get my I still get my work. ⁓ you know. But it's it's it's those times, you know, and I and and he speaks the Lord speaks in s he speaks to me through things. You know. So we have to be in tune to observing what's going on around us because you can see him in.
speaker-1: ⁓
speaker-0: Every move and everything that's around you. You can see him in creation. Yeah. And if you look at the creation with the mindset that I'm a son, yeah, versus a servant. Yeah. See, we got to get into sonship. Not servant. Okay. We're sons and daughters of God that serve. But we're not servants. I am not identified as a servant. Servant is something that I do.
speaker-1: That's right. That's right.
speaker-0: As a sign.
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: You y am I making sense?
speaker-1: No, you one hundred cent. I mean going back to the prodigal son. He said, Let me come back in your home, I'll be a slave, a servant. I'll be a slave. He said, Nah, I'm gonna put shoes on your feet 'cause slaves don't wear shoes. He put shoes on his feet. He covers sonship.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, sonship. Yeah. We and we got to get in the sonship and walking in that grace and accept doing everything from grace and let let God work do the work. Let him do the work. We just yield. You know. Yeah, we in sonship.
speaker-1: Absolutely. That's right. We are in sonship though. Now I've I've explained that. I know I made the statement on this show before. It's like I don't like being called a servant. Now and and again I didn't explain it well. Right. There's probably some people who's like, ⁓ well, you know, his heart is the right place. Now I'm down to serve. You ask anybody in my church, man, I don't just sit on a pew. I every single week I'm doing something. Right. I'm serving because I I mean I'm just glad. I'm glad what I got, right? Yeah. But no, I'm a son. Yeah. I ain't no slave. Yeah. I ain't no s servant. Yeah. I serve ⁓ cheerfully.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah, what people do try to become.
speaker-1: S ⁓
speaker-0: But we should do because of who we are. It's reverse. Religion have you walked around here in the reverse. Yeah. We got to get it right. That's right. You know, your son, your son, we're sons and daughters of God that he works through serving others. Yeah. So we we that's that's that's the mindset that the church, I believe Nick, has to get into. Yep. And then no more striving.
speaker-1: That's right. Store.
speaker-0: That's where burnout comes from. Mm-hmm. We have to learn how to pace ourselves and get in the rhythm of the spirit and flow with him. Yeah. We're not called to do everything. Yeah. We're called to do what he's called us to do. Yeah. And so in order to do that, we have to develop that relationship with the Father who will assign things to us and and show us why He created us, the purpose for which He created us. And begin to flow in that. Stay in our own orbit, so to speak. Yep. If everybody in the body of Christ stay within the orbit that they are called to stay in, the church will align. The Lord showed me that ⁓ a couple of years ago when the you know we had this whole big thing about the planets aligning. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he said, Maurice, he said, every planet has an orbit. And the only way that alignment came into place is that each planet had to stay in its own orbit.
speaker-1: It is. Yeah.
speaker-0: So so if we in the body of Christ stay in our own work in our own area of influence and not try to do what he or she do you see other people's doing, just do what you're called to do. We're all aligned. Yeah. We are all aligned.
speaker-1: You know, I've always struggled with that in well in the past I've learnt my lesson a lot of what you're saying. I've always tried to duplicate what others are doing. Mm-hmm. Especially this podcast. I first got this started, I I was trying to duplicate. Mm-hmm. And you know what worked the best? Mm-hmm. Do just roll with what you feel like the Lord's doing. There you go. Don't duplicate Sean Ryan. Don't George Jenko. Yeah. Don't be duplicating them. Do what do what you feel like the Lord's telling you.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, most definite. I I I I got these things I got these things that I call the four W's. The four Ws. Who's we are, where we are, why we are, and who we are. That's very important. Until we get those things straight, we won't be able to to walk in the fullness of what God has called us to do. So, so and and here today we're I think we're kind of talking about a little bit of everything, but the main focus is your identity.
speaker-1: That's important. That's right. I'll fix that. Can can you can you go through and describe each one of those for us?
speaker-0: Yeah. Whose you are is basically your origin, where you came from. We came from God.
speaker-1: Mm-hmm. That's right.
speaker-0: Where we are is our position. We're seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ, in authority, and dominion. Why we are is our purpose. That purpose is found in Christ. Yep. And that's the only way we're to fit. We're called one aspect of our purpose is to represent Christ on in the earth. Yeah. To occupy the earth and allow the kingdom of God to penetrate the realm of the earth. Here as it is in heaven. And who we are, that's our identity. That's the
speaker-1: Here on earth as Biggest thing right
speaker-0: That's the biggest thing. And there's benefits. There's some benefits to knowing who you are, some pros to knowing who you are. And one thing it does, it provides purpose and direction. When you know who you are, you can find your purpose and direction. That's the first step to obtaining your purpose and direction. The second thing is it builds your confidence. Yeah. When you know who you are, you know you are. See, it can't nobody tell me I ain't born again. Come on. Even if I mess up, that ain't telling me I'm not born again. That's it. All right? It creates stability. There are so many unstable people in the world. So many. And you saw, you saw, you saw the instability of many Christians when COVID hit. A lot of unfair. Yeah. Walked away. You know, but that's because they didn't know who they were.
speaker-1: ⁓ Yeah. ⁓ yes. Absolutely. And even in the times and the times coming where the Bible even says it is coming that the most elite is gonna be is gonna be is gonna fail. Right. If you're not one hundred percent sold out standing on the identity in Christ, you're gonna fail. You got to know who you are. And the way to know who you are is to view God in the right with the right, and that is a beloved son and daughter of the most high.
speaker-0: All right. Yeah. You're on a fair. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, most definitely. Most definitely. It's it's it's we're in critical times. Mm-hmm. It's dark out there, but we're the light. Yeah. So we got to operate and function like the light. Not by our own power, yeah, but by his grace and mercy. Yeah. That we're able to live out. Yep. And live in front of people the way he intended us to do. Yeah. All right. And so when people see you and you operate and living in your identity in Christ that draws them. Yeah. That draws them. What's up with you? What what you know? Something's about you. That's right. That's right.
speaker-1: Something's about you. I want I want what you have. If you if you're sitting on a pew all groaning, yeah. You know, you mad because your waiters didn't bring your sweet teeth.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. And that's what's that's what's that's what's wrong in the world today. Yeah. A lot of people don't want it to have nothing to do with church because of what they've seen.
speaker-1: That's right. Exactly. But and rightfully so, yeah, they talk about church. Now I know some people use it as Hughes, but that is a real thing.
speaker-0: It's it's a real thing. But it my wife and I been church hurt. Mm-hmm. We we was the associate pastors of a church in Pensacola for for almost twenty some years. For over twenty-something years. We went to Bible school there and everything. And it started out great. But then things started going wrong and a lot of lies were told. ⁓ wow. Concerning my wife and I. You know, just just all kind of peep people being pee. Yep. And and ⁓
speaker-1: Wow. Be a people being people.
speaker-0: It was just it hurt. Yeah. It hurts. Matter of fact, it hurt us so bad. My wife and I set up in the we we left that s that Sunday and went home and we stayed in our room for three days. Stayed in our room for three days. And and and ⁓ we we just got in the word, we prayed, got in the word, we cried, got in the word, and ⁓ we were watching TBN, I think his name was Dwight Thompson. He was on there ministering. And he said, the Lord said, get up. The Lord, now my our bedroom door was locked. And when he said get up and and and get moving, our bedroom door opened. It just opened up. From that moment forward, Nick, I never looked back. ⁓
speaker-1: Come on. Where?
speaker-0: I never look back. And so at the end of the day, I realized that the church, the things that we experienced wasn't God.
speaker-1: I was just gonna say that man. Praise the Lord, you didn't put that on God's character.
speaker-0: Exactly. Yeah. That was them. People gonna be b people. So what do you do when that happens? Forgive them. Yeah. Extend this extend the same grace that God has given you to them. Amen. That don't mean you have to remain ⁓ in harm's way. Yeah. But you release to be released. It's for you. Yeah. For you. Yeah.
speaker-1: That's yeah. That's right.
speaker-0: Yeah, that and then that explains why Jesus said, forgive them the Lord, for they know not what Davis. It was for him. Yeah. See, it was for him. My my brother, let me let me let me go back to this this these this these prose about your identity. Yeah. ⁓ understanding your identity also encourages healthy relationships.
speaker-1: Mm-hmm.
speaker-0: It helps us fulfill God's purpose. So those are just five things that knowing your identity would do. ⁓ I was on a call with my brother and some other guys about a week or two ago. And ⁓ my brother, who's also a minister, he said he made this, he made this statement. He said, something to the effect, he said, we see Jesus as an example. Jesus as our example, but we need to see Jesus as an example of who we are. He's an example of who we are as believers, as sons of daughters of God. And I thought about that thing. Yeah, you he can he can be an example, but when you look at it as an example of who we are.
speaker-1: Yeah.
speaker-0: Since we've received him as Lord and Savior, who we are in him to the Father, He's our brother. As he is, so are we in this world. We're just like him. So he's an example. When we look at Jesus, we should see ourselves. And I I thought about it, and then all of a sudden, this I was driving to work, the Spirit of the Lord said, not only is he an example of you, but he's a revelation of you. When we look at Jesus, we see a revelation of ourselves. Not because of our nothing we did, because of what he did. Exactly. Exactly. So you're catching it, Nick. Yeah, okay. Okay.
speaker-1: Yeah. Because he can't. He can't we are now co heirs. religious thought though will have you thinking like ⁓ no no you're say what you're saying is one thousand
speaker-0: No no no. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So that's that's the way we have to function and and see ourselves. You know, God is good, man. I I remember in Bible school that was a ⁓ we had a ⁓ African guy. He he ⁓ came from ⁓ I think he was from Nigeria, taught his name was ⁓ Tounday, not Tounde, ⁓ My Lord. I just called his name a couple of weeks ago. But anyway, Ayo, Ayo, a Rustajappa. Okay. And he's
speaker-1: So good.
speaker-0: He's the the the the largest bishop in Africa. And he used to come to our Bible school where we were going to school and he said, The devil is bad. He said, God is good and the devil is bad. You know, and ⁓ and so we got to realize the devil's bad. And he's gonna lie, he's gonna throw your pass up in your face, he's gonna do all of that because of what God has called you to do.
speaker-1: Okay. That's right.
speaker-0: And if we so busy looking at what we did, don't forgive ourselves, walk around in condemnation, we're gonna stay where we are. That's but we have to understand the importance of God's grace. We have to understand that and walk in that. Just receive it. That's the only thing. Our responsibility as born again believers is to believe and receive. That's the work of God.
speaker-1: Yeah. That's it. Yeah. Yeah. John talks about that. Mm-hmm. John talks about it. He talks about, you know, you gotta believe him, but you also gotta receive. Yeah. We talked about that. I think that was on our resurrection ⁓ episode. ⁓ was doing our Easter special. Mm hmm. Now I'll butcher it now because I haven't read it since then. I'm gonna go but yes, you have to believe and receive. Yeah.
speaker-0: Believe and receive Yeah, believe and receive. And the goodness of God, man, is is is good.
speaker-1: Dude, it's beyond anything we can understand. And I've shared it, dude, like there's no way. And this just shows his goodness. If I was to treat someone the way I treated God, God had no reason. There was no reason for him to want me. There was no reason. Like I've given him no reason to pursue me and face me. But willingly desired me.
speaker-0: Yeah. He's
speaker-1: They desired me so much. No matter what I said, no matter what I did. The fact that I even denied him. ⁓ yeah, all that, man. But the reason for for him to still pursue me, want me. Yeah, why would you want me? Like after all I've done. And that's what when you was talking about your wife said new new. New is new. Man, when I came to God, I was like and I I was hearing the
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. New means new.
speaker-1: the love of God, the gospel aspect of the love of God for the very first time in my life, man, and my heart was pounding. My wife said she could hear me breathing. So like I was breathing heavy. Uh-huh. And he was like, if you want to come and accept Jesus Christ, come you you know, come now. Mm-hmm. And I r I ran to the altar. Man, I ran down to the altar and I I I fell to my knees and I was like and obviously I I was all a mess at the point. And I was like, Lord, I don't know what I'm doing, but God, if you'll just fix my brokenness, fix my broken
speaker-0: Yeah.
speaker-1: He said, I'm not gonna fix your broken heart. Leave it on that altar. I'm giving you a new one. A new one. And I've been different ever since. And ⁓ and my wife talked about it. She's like, seeing what God did in me in that moment really just flipped it for her. And it's like, I want that. And then it's boom, she got it.
speaker-0: I'm giving you I'm giving you Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Exactly. You know, it God is ⁓ here again, he's so good, man. He's a right. His love, man. His love is it supersedes anything we can ever imagine.
speaker-1: I could never explain it. No yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love pizza. I love fried soup.
speaker-0: Yeah, yeah, it it's beyond that. It's life changing. It's his love that reached in the darkness and pulled us out. You know, it's his grace that he he blessed us with as a gave it to freely giving it to us to help us walk out, work out our salvation. ⁓
speaker-1: Man, there's something. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
speaker-0: Is well that's cause you don't understand. You got some in the closet. Yes. You know, and
speaker-1: That's it. A lot of it could be with striving as well. Yeah. You you gotta wake up every morning and say, Man, Lord, thank you for loving me. That's all that's all it is to it. You know what I mean? ⁓ even if you don't get it right, man. God, you you don't change like shifting shadows. Yeah. Or the same today, yesterday forever. Thank God for that.
speaker-0: Thank you for loving and Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. That's right. Yeah, yeah. Get up, pull your bootstraps up, keep going, man.
speaker-1: And to flip that too, with us operating in that love, that love is the light that's gonna shine into this world right. And the it says that the darkness cannot comprehend it. Right. You know the way we can love one another, yeah, to change lives, it's gonna confuse the devil. And if we actually can reflect the love that God has given us, it's gonna confuse the He ain't gonna know what to do and the only thing he could do is try to distract us. Yeah. Or confuse us, maybe twist
speaker-0: Right. Right. Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: Right. Scripture. Right. You know what I mean? But it says it's gonna confuse him. He can't comprehend it. We can just reflect that right. That is the light of the devil. Right. Right. You're gonna confuse the devil. I don't even know what to do. Yeah. don't even know what to do. They're loving one another. What am I gonna
speaker-0: Yeah, comprehensive. Right. Exactly. Yeah Yeah. See it it it people s they are people sitting in open sales.
speaker-1: Mm-hmm.
speaker-0: Think about what I see. Yes. They sitting on the open sale. Because they're choosing to. They've received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They're born-again believers. The shackles, they've been delivered. But they're choosing to stay in the sea when the only thing they got to do is get up and walk out.
speaker-1: Yes. Yes.
speaker-0: But they they they they they in this mindset that they need so and so so and so to do A B C and D. I need them to forgive me before I forgive them. See, unforgiveness is one of those things that keep people in bondage. That ain't not that's something you shouldn't be playing with. Yes. Harbin unforgiveness in offense, that's something you shouldn't be playing with. Yeah. And and and ⁓ it's it's it it it keeps you isolated and while you're isolated then that gives the enemy the opportunity to minister to you.
speaker-1: Absolutely.
speaker-0: See, we got to realize the sh the shackers have been removed. He did it. Jesus did it. His blood cleansed us. He's given us his word. He's given us his promises. And we just have to take, hear him, obey him, and walk out. Hear him, obey him, and walk out. And and and and and but religion complicates things.
speaker-1: Yeah. That's right.
speaker-0: It complicates things. But I I ⁓ if you don't mind, there's someone watching. that wants to know whether or not the Lord loved them. And I'm here to tell you today that he does. He desires the best for you. So receive the love of God today. There's someone here that's addicted to ⁓ a third entertainment. You're born again, but you want to know how to get free. Receive your freedom and liberty today.
speaker-1: Amen.
speaker-0: In the name of Jesus, Spirit of Lust.
speaker-1: Yes.
speaker-0: I break your power over that man, over that woman. You don't have authority in the name of Jesus. I declare you free right now. Free. Free indeed. You're dead to sin. Sin no longer has you in bondage. You're free. You're free. Yeah? The love of God.
speaker-1: Yeah.
speaker-0: It's per per permeating and penetrating your heart right now. You're watching and you're sensing and feeling the love of God in the room while you're sitting there on your couch, while you're sitting at the table, while you're laying in your bed. That's the love of God just you're feeling. That's the Spirit of God moving in your heart. That's the Lord loving on you. He's there to meet you and help you to overcome and to walk in victory that he's already given you. You mean well to the Lord. God has plans for you. And I declare and decree you free right now in the name of Jesus.
speaker-1: Yes, Lord.
speaker-0: I speak to every marriage that's going through turmoil right now. Your spirit of division, strife, and contention. I take authority over you right now and command you to leave that home right now in the name of Jesus. Today is the day that that couple is free from your influence. I plead the blood of Jesus over them now. I plead the blood of Jesus. And release the will of the Lord into their life right now in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for moving upon your word. I thank you for confirming your word. I thank you, Lord, for those that are experiencing financial hardships. I thank you, Lord, for supplying every need.
speaker-1: Thanks.
speaker-0: breaking the power of poverty. ⁓ and I speak healing to the person that's dealing with cancer, the person that's dealing with high blood pressure, the people the person that's dealing with ⁓ diabetes. Healed. You're healed. In the name of Jesus. You're healed. You are whole in the name of Jesus. Now I plead the blood of Jesus over the viewing audience right now. And I call and decree every person free from the power of the enemy. And Satan, you're defeated. You're under our feet, and that's where you'll stay. And that's where you belong in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Jesus' name. To the veterans. That's dealing with PTSD. I declare you free and whole. I plead the blood of Jesus over your soul. Over your soul. And I declare and decree that your soul is free. You're forgiven of that. You're forgiven of that which you had to do. In Jesus' name. Father, give them sweet sleep as they rest now. They will sleep in your presence and in your power from this day forward in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. I just felt that come up.
speaker-1: And that's what I was going to tell the audience, slightly so for those of you that don't know, that is what we call a foretold prophetic word. Mm-hmm. That's a prophetic word. And so, you know, ⁓ there, you know, it's two type of prophetic words. You talk about words that are to be come true. Mm-hmm. And then we we speak prophetic words that the Lord has already foretold us. Mm-hmm. So that is what you call it for ⁓ prophetic words. So I pray that every single person that was listening to that right there, that you receive the word that was just spoken to you. ⁓ thank you.
speaker-0: Yeah. Amen. Amen.
speaker-1: Thank for the obedience of that. Yeah, ⁓ for every every heart and every mind that was listening to that, I f I pray that they received that.
speaker-0: Yeah. Amen. Amen. Amen. So, you know, it's it's just it's ⁓ Nick, I cannot say it enough. God is just good, man. He he's he's just good. He's delicious. He's delicious. He's delicious. You know, so hey, it's it's it's amazing. But yeah, the resurrected man, you know, I want I would encourage you if you want to know a little more about your your identity. Yeah.
speaker-1: ⁓ good. ⁓ where can
speaker-0: ⁓ it's on Amazon. You can get it on my Amazon. Amazon. Yeah, you can go on Amazon and type in books by Dr. Thaddeus and Williams Senior and ⁓ everything. The the resurrected man, this is about your your kingdom identity. Yes. Yeah, again the understanding of who you are. The resurrected man is not the futuristic you. Right now. It's you right now. Come on. Right now. Right now. In n in this season of faith.
speaker-1: As you write. Like I mentioned earlier, like, you know, people ask man, what does the finish line look like? The starting line?
speaker-0: Right. The starting line. Right. Right. ⁓ That is right. That's right. That's right. And and and to help your prayer life, I ⁓ wrote this book. See, faith begins where the will of God is known. People pray the way they pray, if it be thy will, because they don't know the will of God. Yeah. But this book here, The Will of God, the Lord had me put it together and it talks about his will for your life, for your finances, your relationships.
speaker-1: Yeah.
speaker-0: Your total well-being. So you you know, when you get this and get the revelation of the will of God, it it here again, it helps your confidence and you'll be able to pray his will.
speaker-1: Okay. So you will know what to speak in prayer.
speaker-0: Exactly. Yeah. Right. What you it the scripture said put me in remembrance. Okay? So it's not that God don't know what he told you, but it's to get you to speak as he speaks. Confession means to say the same thing as someone else has said it. That's right.
speaker-1: Yeah. That's right. That's right. And and same thing like with prayer. God already knows what you need. But He wants you to speak it. Yeah. There's more of life and death in the tongue. Yeah. Speak it into life. And that goes against the the the same thing too. Be careful what you speak over your Definitely speak positive life. That's good with our company, man, with Hydra C pros. Yeah. Dude, I refuse to have somebody that's ⁓ speaks death, speaks negative. ⁓ and one of my biggest things too
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Speaking into us. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Yes.
speaker-1: I can't offer you money that a welder makes. I can't offer you money that an electrician makes. But what I can offer you is a positive, life filling environment. Uhhuh. And dude, that's a big thing. You know, I'm saying and people tell me all the time, man, that that's that means that means a lot just to be s around somebody who can speak life.
speaker-0: That means the Yeah, yeah. Yeah, and there's Nick, I found out years ago there's a d we're kings and priests in the earth. Mm-hmm. Kings decree. When a king make a decree, power goes out. Where the word of a king is, there's power. So when we get the will of God, when we get an understanding of the will of God and begin to decree, not confess, decree. Whatever you decree,
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: That establishes it. That's the law. That's the law. That's the law. The gaver down. Boom. Giving us the mean. Yeah. We got this. It's so much. Yeah. It's so much. See, I am this. I'm broke. I'm sick. See, we have to be careful that because whatever you place behind I am, you are identifying your current state of being.
speaker-1: The law. Well he's given you dominion. That's right.
speaker-0: I am it's the name of God. Come on. I am it's God's name. So I am rich. You you might not have a bunch of million dollars, a million dollars in the back. I don't even know if million dollars makes you rich these days, you know. But the thing is, you get what I'm saying. But but we got to start saying we got to start saying things about ourselves that God has already spoken. Speak it over your life, decree it.
speaker-1: That's right, that's right. Think it over your life.
speaker-0: That's right. Decree it. Decree it. Decree a thing. Thy will be done as it is in heaven. Uh-huh. Heaven is a real place. So if we want to experience heaven on earth, we have to start decreeing the will of God on earth. And we'll begin our environment will begin to take shape up and come into play.
speaker-1: Air is That's right.
speaker-0: As to g we'll begin to walk things and and experience things that we've yet to experience. You know.
speaker-1: Absolutely. Yeah. No, he says I can have heaven right now. That's right. That's right. I I mean I get to walk with him right now. ⁓
speaker-0: That's right. With power. With power.
speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah. We ain't gotta wait to get to heaven to experience heaven. Open up the floodgates, open up the windows of heaven. Yeah. Open it up. Pour your spirit out.
speaker-0: Exactly. Exactly, exactly, exactly. You know, and it's one thing about the devil that I want everybody to know. He's defeated.
speaker-1: One hundred percent.
speaker-0: I say it again, Nick. I'm gonna say it again because somebody didn't catch it. He's defeated. The devil is defeated. The devil is defeated. And he's under your feet. He's under my feet. He's under Nick's feet. He's under the feet of the body of Christ. He's a defeated foe. And the only access that he has into any anyone's life is you give it to him.
speaker-1: Right. The authority you give it. That's it.
speaker-0: That's right. That's why it's important to put the will of God in your mouth. You know, a thought unspoken goes unbond. So just because you think in negative, don't say it. Don't let it out. Everything That's right. That's why it's important for us to think on things above. Keep our mind keep our mind on things on high. And and and and allow and meditate on the word.
speaker-1: Come on. Yeah. Yeah. Take captive every single thought. Take captive every single thought.
speaker-0: Yes. Day and night. Meditate on the word. ⁓ ponder the word. Look at his promises. His promises concerning you, they are yes and they are amen. They are never fair. The word of God never fails. So so that's why you got the resurrected man, you got the will of God, and then escape. ⁓ excuse me. I I wrote Es I wrote escape when I was in Iraq. God began to show me some things.
speaker-1: Yeah, and they never fail. Okay.
speaker-0: And I I he encouraged me to put it down in writing. I wrote that years ago. I'm I'm planning on going back and probably revisit it and and because I've learned some different things now that I want to add but it'll it'll get you on the right track. So if you're dealing with ⁓ pornography, things of that now I'm not saying my walk out of this was easy. ⁓ no. I had to walk it out. I had to walk it out. Yeah. and and not beat myself over the head about it. Yeah, you know, and realize that that wasn't who I am. That that's not that that's not who I I am currently is, you know, because I was experiencing it. But I was exactly who God called me to be. And and by rehearsing that in my mind, I'm the righteousness of God. I was able to work it out, walk it out, and finally became free. So that's that's it's a process. It's a process. It's a process. And and and we see the end results. All right. But we get hung up on these little things, these little vices and these little things that we slip up. Yeah. Yeah, they get in the way. And and so just just w you see it. You know who you are. Live from there. So when you slip up, you know what? That ain't me. That's not me. You know, you slip in cuffs. Yeah. That ain't ⁓ that ain't me.
speaker-1: That's right. That's right.
speaker-0: That's that's that I I that came from somewhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And and a lot of times when when deliverance began to take place, you know Things like that's surface. If you take a glass that's filled with dirty water and put it on a clean tap, as the clean tap of water goes in, that dirt surfaces up. Let it come out. Let it come out. Cause you want to be clean on the inside. So so don't be hard on yourself. You're still born again. You made a mistake. You're not practicing sin.
speaker-1: Yeah. That's it.
speaker-0: You're not practicing sin. You're not a sinner. You you you're righteous. If you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you're the righteousness of God.
speaker-1: Yeah. It says to bring it out into the light. It says to bring it out into the light. Now that don't mean go be telling everybody yo, big
speaker-0: Exactly. No, if you got people No because
speaker-1: Ha have your select that that you that you feel confident that they're not gonna go off. But ⁓ it says to bring it out into the light. That's how you get rid of it. Right. Just go to somebody like, hey man, you know what? I got a problem with porn. Man, I I got a problem with, you know, staring at girls when I go to walk into the store, whatever the case may be. You know what I mean? Bring it out into the light. Bring it you overcome it. Yeah. You know what I mean? You know, ⁓ and player.
speaker-0: Right. Yeah, I Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: Yeah, prayer. Yeah what I
speaker-0: It's it's it's something we have to walk out and work out, you know, and don't be hard on ourselves 'cause God is doing the work on the inside. He's he you you probably somewhere different on a different level in certain areas. I'm on a different level in certain areas. You may be here and I'm just trying to catch up, you know.
speaker-1: That's right. That's right. But or vice versa. Vice versus time there's some areas where I'm like I'm here like Nick, you know you need to be here. Yeah. But I don't let that become like you're saying, I don't let that define my identity. You know what I'm saying? I know I need to do better. And there's times where in my prayer I'd be like, God, I know I'm not the best son. Yeah. But I am a son. Yeah. ⁓ you know, I am a son. Might not be the best son all the time. Yeah. But I know. And and I've shared that too, man, where like all I had in my prayer life. Yeah.
speaker-0: Exactly. Yeah.
speaker-1: is just to speak it out and this was a reputation's prayer. You know, we're of habits. Yeah. And it wasn't take like seven or fourteen days to create a habit. And so that w my prayer was like, God, I love you and I know you love me. Even though that was hard to believe in the beginning I didn't feel it. You know, yeah. And feeling's a lie. Yeah. And ⁓ I wasn't feeling it, man. And I prayed it to you know what? That was stilled into me. And right now it's tattooed on my heart no matter what I'm facing. No matter
speaker-0: Yeah.
speaker-1: How bad I screw up or how good I'm doing. Mm-hmm. You know what? God loves me and I love him. It's not changing. ⁓
speaker-0: Yeah. That's not changing. That's right. That's right. That's right. Yeah, we ⁓ you know, we mess up, you know, and and and well, I say we but you get what I'm saying. Yeah. People mess up and they choose to run away from God. Mm-hmm. That ain't the time to run away. You turn around and run to him. Just 'cause I messed up. He knows you messed up in the right. He he knew you were messing up right when you were doing. You know. So
speaker-1: Well look at Adam. Yeah. You think God was caught by surprise? It was like you think he really didn't know where Adam was? ⁓ dang, I done misplaced Adam where the Adam got he knew but he still showed up for the communion walk that him and Adam had catch God by surprise. He needed Adam to step out for his hiding. Step out from his hiding. Step out of your shame. Bring yourself to and then
speaker-0: Exactly. No. It didn't. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. You know. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah.
speaker-1: And and then ⁓ obviously we have Jesus now. Yeah. Yeah. That will ⁓ cleanse us of that. But no man, yeah, God wasn't caught by surprise. He caught by surprise. Well, what you doing? Man, he just wants you to come out. Yeah, like you said about prayer. Just speak it.
speaker-0: Just speaking. Yeah, yeah. You know, who who told you you was naked?
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: Who told you that? You're not naked. You're clothed with you you're clothed in righteousness. Clothed with the glory of God. You're not naked.
speaker-1: Yeah. You close ⁓ Yeah.
speaker-0: You're not naked. Well I you know, I'm just a sinner saved by grace. You're not a sinner.
speaker-1: Man, yeah. Stop putting that on yourself.
speaker-0: Yeah, stop putting that on yourself. You know, I'm like I'm just a grasshopper. Who told you you was a grasshopper? In the jazz lane? No, you're victorious. You're victorious, man, and and we win.
speaker-1: In a giant slave. Yeah, that's right. That's right. We won. You know, there's a story and it was in the ⁓ I've shared this at church one time, man. It was an inspiring story. It was it's actually a story in the Rolling Stones. Mm-hmm. Now, I can't remember who this guy was, but he went to the zoo, I'm trying to remember it was like Portland or something like that. He was on a business meeting, man. He went into the big city and there's like, Hey, you gotta go visit the zoo. He had some downtime. So he went and visited the zoo. And while he was visiting the zoo, he seen the the king of the jungle. You know, he seen the lion. And as this lion was just pacing back and forth to defense, man, it started breaking his heart. It's like there was a there was a like a a sadness in this lion's eyes. Right. And so he was like, man, I gotta do something. You know what he did? He bought the lion. He said, what's it gonna take for me? Hey, this is who I am. I'm this guy. He's very rich. You know me. He said, I want to buy that lion. And it was like, well, that's gonna be a lot of money. He bought the lion. So he takes the lion out into the Safari, wherever he takes the lion out to where he belongs. Yeah. They opened the case. Man, they had a camera crew here said, Man, this is gonna be magical. The lion's fixed to get released. There, you know, where he was supposed be. And they opened the cage to the lion, and the lion jumps out of the cage, but just walks ten feet back and forth. Yeah. Back and forth. Even though he was released, even though he was paid for, bought for, he was still walking.
speaker-0: Yeah.
speaker-1: into that same place like he was walking before. How many of us that have been bought and paid for still walk into this trap like we're still caved? Yeah. And not only that that we're still walking. I wonder what it must feel like to the one who paid for it all and to still watch us walk as we were yet we were trapped. Yeah. I tell you when I read that when I read that I was like Yeah they
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: They some story behind this. Yeah. Tell me what that ain't a walk with price. Yeah.
speaker-0: Yeah, exactly. When we don't receive what Christ has paid for, we're in sin. If you can't say and accept that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you're functioning in pride and doubt and unbelief.
speaker-1: Yeah. You ain't walking in what you're supposed to do.
speaker-0: You're not walking in ways. The mind, the mind. We have to renew our minds, Nick. We have to read that what you just shared kind of remind me of this this this ⁓ this story I heard of this guy. ⁓ he worked ⁓ in in I guess ⁓ it where the the the refrigerate cars would be the train area. Yes. And this guy worked on the refrigerator worked on one of the refrigerated cars. He was doing some work on one of the refrigerated cars. And it got late in the day and he left to go home for work, but he forgot something. He left it in the in the the the ⁓ train car where he was working, yeah. And he walked in there and a door closed and it locked him in inside the refrigerate car. All right? And he sat there And he began to thank the worst. He began to say, It's cold in here. It's cold. He pulled out a pencil and piece of paper and wrote a note. Whoever finds me, tell my family I love ⁓ I froze to death. So he was locked in the refrigerated car. The next morning, when everybody came to work, they found him in the refrigerated car, dead, froze. But the refrigerated car wasn't working. The refrigerant, the the the freezer wasn't even working. What? His mind. He was so convinced that he was freezing, he froze. What? He froze in the car. Wow. And the car was above zero, you know. Yeah. It i it wasn't below freezing. What in the car. It wasn't working. But he he was convinced that he was freezing and he froze. Now I heard this story. From a well known minister. Tell this I think it was ⁓ a lot of people don't like him. I think it was Joel Osteen that I heard share that story. And I was like, wow, the mind is so powerful. It's so powerful. That's why the scripture encourages us to cast down every evil imagination that exhausts itself against the knowledge of God. You know, that's why we have to meditate.
speaker-1: Yeah, the man is, yeah. Yes.
speaker-0: You know, keep the word before us at all times. Mm-hmm. You know, that's our part. We have a part to play. Yeah. And that's to cooperate with the spirit of the Lord. And and allow God to do the work. You know, as we take take in that word, that word began to germinate and seed in our lives. And it began to change things on the inside out. You know, and so, but yeah, man, it's it's ⁓ God is good. God is good.
speaker-1: Yes he is. Better than anything we could describe.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: And you also have and I wanna go ahead and plug this in for you as well. Yeah. ⁓ 'cause I d I don't know how much more you have to share. But I I do know I wanna say that you have an online ministry ⁓ called Grace Moments. And so this is where basically you're given a devotion every single day or you you it might even be a prayer, ⁓ just a quick word of encouragement that you speak and so
speaker-0: Yes. Yeah. Right. Yeah.
speaker-1: ⁓ man guys, y'all be sure to tune on to this. ⁓ it it it's a really good deal. I mean, you probably what, take five minutes of people's time word over somebody's life.
speaker-0: And here's the fact just to speak a crap and and ninety-nine percent of the time I'm driving to work. That's it. Driving from work. Yep. It's done in my computer.
speaker-1: Have your communion with the Lord and and you speak lightly to somebody.
speaker-0: Yeah. And because people need to hear words of life. Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: That's right. It's one hundred percent. So man, guys, hey, if y'all want to tune into somewhere that has just a daily just a daily encouragement encouraging word. ⁓ or or hear the word of the Lord that might come over you at that moment. Yeah, man. Tune into it. Grace Moments. ⁓ that that's ⁓ I'm saying that correctly, right? Yeah, yeah. Grace Moments. ⁓ man, it's very encouraging. Good, man. We appreciate you being so faithful in that. And I know you have some other
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: ⁓ online message. I think are you are you working on it right now like kingdom
speaker-0: Kingdom Truth. Kingdom Truth. Yeah, that's a that's a program my wife and I started when we were in Japan. ⁓ Yeah, yeah. ⁓ man. We had we had an awesome time in Japan. But we started that in Japan and ⁓ we brought a little but we ⁓ we hadn't done anything for the past couple of years since we really we we got we started doing a little bit when we moved back yeah to the States, but we we kinda fell off a little bit. Yeah got 'cause my wife started working and
speaker-1: Yeah. ⁓ you know we didn't even mention that.
speaker-0: Things of that nature, but we're planning on getting that up and going again.
speaker-1: And we haven't mentioned it, so your wife, who is a superstar, he is he has own music video. ⁓ I ain't gonna lie, she could give what C C Y Nus, I think that's how you pronounce the line, you give her a run for her money. Man, dude, those music videos you sent me, I was like, This girl can sing. It's A N G sing. Yeah.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wanted her to come over and join me today but she had to work and ⁓ I told him I s I told her I said, Well ⁓ he wanna I think he wants to interview you 'cause I said to Fleming your stuff.
speaker-1: Yeah, I hate it man. Look, she can sing the national anthem. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I would love for her to come meet her because man, I tell you what, I I showed Kansas, I showed a couple people like the the video you sent me, ⁓ the upbeat song. I can't remember the name of the song on there, but ⁓ dude, it was so good so good. Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I was like, Wow, this this girl's got a gift. So, nah, man, I am looking forward to it. I am looking for it. And she's got a PhD as well.
speaker-0: Yeah, it was. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. Yeah she does.
speaker-1: Yes, you got PHP as well. ⁓ so yeah, I I'm way out of my league on this one.
speaker-0: But yeah, I I I I I I told her I said we'll we'll see about setting up something like 'cause he's very interested. 'Cause I I told him about you and ⁓ I said he'll be glad to bring you on the show. We'll go over to Theodore and and ⁓ lit and you guys can do the interview and and go from there. Yeah. But she just to give a little shout out ⁓ about her, when we were in Japan, that whole thing
speaker-1: A hundred percent.
speaker-0: The way she came about doing it, she ended up being an instructor at at a gospel music school for the Japanese. Wow. So that whole thing was a God thing. Yeah. I he set it up. And the way those the they were already doing gospel music, but when my wife got a hold of it, she and started training them. Let me back up. They did over there, there was like black gospel. Uhhuh. So my wife went in and said, What do you mean black gospel? Gospel does not black nor white.
speaker-1: Ha ha ha.
speaker-0: So that's the gospel. Yeah. So she began to explain to them. And then she began to explain that when you're singing and ministering unto the Lord, you're not just singing. Mm-hmm. You're being a outreach of the Lord to the people. And his spirit is flowing through you to reach the people. So she she put a whole different perspective in their minds about what they would do. They weren't just singing God.
speaker-1: That's it.
speaker-0: Now they're beginning to understand that they're being used of the Lord to proclaim that you're hosting the presence of God. So it takes my wife to really explain everything to you.
speaker-1: You're your host in the Love to have with her having the ⁓ the the side of worship of of a worship ministry. Right. I would love to have that on the show.
speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. I I would let her know.
speaker-1: And maybe I can get some lessons from her. Maybe she can it's gonna be a tough task. Yeah.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah, so so so with that, you know, just let me know a date so I can give it so make sure sure calendar is clear. And I I shall available. Okay. All right, we'll do that. And ⁓ another thing, I got you mentioned Kingdom Truth and Grace Moments. Yeah. We're gonna start doing ⁓ here's here's a va the first volume of my three hundred and sixty five day devotional. I have
speaker-1: As soon as she's available.
speaker-0: two volumes that's already done. This one and then volume two. Both of these are on ⁓ Amazon as well. And I'm working on the third volume. Yeah. So it's gonna be a volume of three, so three years of devotionals. Wow. And ⁓ so what the Lord impressed the meaning to do is to start doing ⁓ a YouTube thing, a devotional, and I sit down and just go and read, share each devotion. One a day. Yeah. With the people. So it'll be
speaker-1: Yeah.
speaker-0: three years of ⁓ you know, ⁓ getting the word out. Yeah. The encouraging people. It's nothing long and drawn because people's attention span can get very strong. So you have to hit ⁓ real quick. Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: There you go. That's what I'll learn. So before I did the podcast, I would do like a devotion or whatever. Yeah. One thing I learned, man, you got basically five minutes. That's long. It's it it needs to be shorter than that to really hit what you're trying to say. What I am curious of, mm-hmm ⁓ since you are a ⁓ you know, a published author. So what goes into play, man, on like how share with me on like how
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah.
speaker-1: How do you come up with a three hundred and sixty five day devotion? I mean, what what does that look like? How does that go? Thoughts.
speaker-0: Like just like grace moments when I was in Iraq. Those thoughts will come, you know, s ⁓ he'll put some in my in my spirit. Mm-hmm. And I go and research it. And then he'll start talking to me about it. Yeah. And I just journal it. Journal it. Yeah. And then at the time I was putting them and just sending them day by you know, one by one. Yeah. And then so he said, I want you to he said, I want you to do a 30 day devotion. I okay. So I took 30 of them, put them in one devotional, and then the next thing I know, I had 60, put them in another one, and then the next thing I know, I had 90, put them in devotional. And as the volumes of the 30 days were growing, he said, now I want you to compile them all in one book.
speaker-1: Well
speaker-0: And then you got your whole year. Yeah. So that's what I did.
speaker-1: Yeah. That that kinda reminds me of the man ⁓ or he was trusted with the talents the bad so it he trusted you with thirty days and he multiplied it. Then multiplied it. Man, that's all
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. 30 days. And then Yeah. And as far as the publishing part, you know, I I used to always want, you know, see ministers and stuff. They I'm like, how they have time to sit down and write a book? You know? And when I was it with my wife and I were these ass assistant pastors at the church in Pensacola, I would take my sermons. I had the outline. And then so I just went back and just
speaker-1: Yeah, I know, right? Yeah.
speaker-0: listened to my tapes and I started writing what I had preached. That became the book. Yeah. And and and and and and ⁓ just a few years ago and how the approach that I've been using to write ⁓ I was listening to you've heard of Miles Monroe? Yes. Okay. He shared I ran across one of his his ministries, ⁓
speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah. Really? I ain't never talked about that.
speaker-0: a circ ⁓ sermons mm and he was talking about how he got started writing books. And he said he was preaching. At the time he didn't have books. He said he was ministering one time and his guy told him, said hey, ⁓ you need to write a book. And he was like, Write a book? I ain't got time to write no book. And he said, he said, you got your stuff on tape? And he said, yeah. He said, give me the tapes. And he took what he preached. And wrote it. That was the book. So here all of the books Mil Mar Miles Monroe wrote were sermons he preached. And that's that's the whole thing. Yeah.
speaker-1: Wow. Wow. Wow, that's pretty cool. I got a few sermons that ⁓ the the Lord really I feel like the Lord really did a great job on. Yeah. Yeah. I might not have delivered them well, but my notes look great. Yeah. But but no, man, that's I I might actually try to see what we got there. Yeah. That's pretty cool.
speaker-0: Yeah, just I just ask the Lord, you know, I I'll be willing to help you. ⁓ you know, just cause the the way that I'm like, Lord, you you you want me to write these books, but
speaker-1: Yeah. Where can I fit this in?
speaker-0: Where can I fit this in? People buying books. You know, I I ain't on no nationwide platform and this type of stuff. You know, mind getting in the way. Absolutely. And ⁓ he said you never know who gonna see those books. We thank small.
speaker-1: Yeah. We think small. Guy's guy's got yeah, higher is his thoughts.
speaker-0: Yeah, and and these are legacies. This is knowledge that
speaker-1: Yeah. You never know who's gonna pick that up there.
speaker-0: Never know. You never know. You never know who's gonna pick up any of this. Yeah. So it's available, you know, and ri and it is not about making money. No. It's getting the word out. Yeah. You know.
speaker-1: Yeah. No. You store in your treasures, Robert. Yeah. I take nothing down here with me. Yeah.
speaker-0: Zam. It's it's what he's taught me and the things he revealed to me that he wants us to to to share with those around us. I forget exactly ⁓ what passage of scripture it was in, but it talks about ⁓ a generation of people That did not know God. Mm-hmm. Because their forefathers didn't say anything else. That's right. I'm telling you about God.
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: So so who's ever that next generation, we like you said, we don't know who's gonna pick those up. That's really you know, how those were gonna impact people's lives. That's right. You know, and so that's that's what I I go by.
speaker-1: And who's to say that your grandkids, you know, ain't gonna know you know, they're gonna they're gonna be able to pick these things up and who knows what they could do with it. Or whatever the case may be.
speaker-0: Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Yeah, we got to I'm sixty five. We gotta start thinking about the next generation.
speaker-1: Yeah. That's what I'm kids ministry and youth ministry is what I'm really big into. Right. You know, all the other stuff can go away. But ⁓ that's I'm sold out on that. Because like like you're saying, the previous forefathers didn't do their job. Yeah. And so now we got a whole generation that don't know the truth.
speaker-0: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Right. Just just in in in in in a identity crisis. That's it. You know, over the past say ten, fifteen years is I've been about the big house, the big cars, the clock the clothes, the money, that type of stuff. That has its place, but that ain't what it's all about. You know, you can have all this stuff and die and go to hell. You know, so
speaker-1: Yeah. That's right. Or even if you save, like I said, you're not taking any of it with you. Well, I I and I say that God's okay with us having things. Exactly. Just don't idolize it. Just don't idolize. But the identity crisis and it's even gotten worse now. Now people don't even know if they wanna be what gender they want to be. Or even identify as a human. Yeah. Yeah. It's
speaker-0: Yeah. The only thing you gotta do. Don't I I I'm both you know, so
speaker-1: It's crazy. It's crazy. Identity is crazy. And as and see, that's the only tactic and we've covered it, but that's the only tactic that the enemy has, the authority that we give him, right? But the only thing that he can do is distract us. Yeah. Or confuse us. Or whatever the case may be. Yeah. Just confuse us, ⁓ throw us off our game ⁓ or distract us. That's the only thing to do. And that's that's all he's got. That's all he's got. Has I and and
speaker-0: Suggestion. That's all
speaker-1: And I refuse to give him the authority of my identity. I refuse to do it.
speaker-0: Yeah. Exactly. Exactly.
speaker-1: That's that's how you're gonna win. That's how you're gonna win.
speaker-0: Yeah. That's how you gonna win. Stay on top. Yep. Exactly, exactly.
speaker-1: There what so is there anything else that you would like to to share, to speak ⁓ you know, before
speaker-0: I just want to encourage everybody to understand that God know exactly where you are. And I want to encourage you to surrender it all to him. Mm-hmm. I was ⁓ I shared this with my brother this morning. We were on a call right before I came here. And the other day I told him, I said, I was driving to work the other day, and I said, and the slogan about Rolades. How do you spell relief? R-O-L-A-E. What is it? R-O-L-A-N-D. I said, I said, that slogan came up in my spirit the other day.
speaker-1: Yeah.
speaker-0: And I heard the spirit of the Lord say, How do you spell relief? He said, J E S U S That's relief. Jesus wants to give you the relief that you so long for. But you have to surrender it to him and rest in the rest that he's provided for you. Live by faith. Trust in the word. Keep the word in the forefront of your memory. Turn the TV off. Get off social media. Narrow that stuff down. That's not important.
speaker-1: Yeah. Cut the noise.
speaker-0: Cut the noise and rest and knowing that. See, he can do more for us if we get out the way. Mm-hmm. We just got to get out the way. Come on. You can't change yourself. You can't change your children. You can't change nothing. But you got to sit back and listen and hear. Silence the noise. You can hear him best when you're just silent. And when we pray, I found something out about prayer, is that prayer is not all always about. Us getting somewhere, sitting down, and us talking. Prayers or dialogue. It's between two people, yourself and the Lord. So a lot of times when I go in my prayer closet, I say nothing. I sit and listen. I may say, Thank you, Lord, you know, but as far as the praying and stuff like that, I do pray. Yeah. But it's not all the time. You know.
speaker-1: That's it. Yeah.
speaker-0: It's best that we sit and listen. Mm-hmm. And we can hear that small still voice speak to us. And then whatever we hear, then act on it. And you hear lead and direct your steps. So I just encourage you, just rest. I want to say to you by the Spirit, it's time for you to rest.
speaker-1: That's right.
speaker-0: The scripture said that they couldn't enter in the promised land because of unbelief. If you're not resting, it's because you're striving, and you're striving because there's a tad of unbelief. You're trying to make something happen. That's not our job.
speaker-1: No. You ain't gotta pay back your salvation. And I did I tried that for a long time.
speaker-0: Ain't got to pay. Yeah, yeah. So I I just wanna encourage, you know, everyone that's listening to keep the faith. Remember Jesus is the way ahead and and and receive the grace that God has given you. You're good. You're victorious, you're whole, you're complete, and there's nothing missing or lacking in your life. Why? Because you have Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
speaker-1: Yep. Yep. Amen. Yep. and you know, I say it all the time, man, Lord, if if you do nothing else in my life you've done more than enough. He's so good. Man, he he's he he's ready to just, man, pour himself out. ⁓
speaker-0: Amen. Amen. Yeah. But yeah. Yeah right. It ain't gonna stop. Yeah. Right. On his earth. Yeah. Yeah. And if if if if ⁓ Nick, we can go on and on and on, but ⁓ I will say this. A person That can identify their weaknesses and understand when they miss the mark and that conviction comes. That's when God can use you.
speaker-1: That's it.
speaker-0: It's the person that know they're wrong, doing wrong, feel they're justified. He can't use that.
speaker-1: Yeah, that's right.
speaker-0: But he can work with those that that's transparent and real with him and with their self. We got to learn how to forgive ourselves.
