First of all, what exactly is effort?

Well, Merriam Webster's dictionary describes effort as active or applied force.

So basically putting a lot of work into something.

The world's use of this word widely ranges from laziness, which is the absence of effort, to a hard working nature, which is when effort is put ahead of personal gain and desire.

I have noticed though in some countries, laziness has grown immensely.

This is mainly because of new inventions in tech that takes over hard tasks.
