Helloween Presents: Giants & Monsters and Michael Kiske

Helloween’s Michael Kiske returns to talk about the band’s brand-new album, Giants and Monsters! He explains how Helloween’s three-singer setup with Andi Deris and Kai Hansen works in the studio and on stage, and what it’s like splitting lead vocals on songs. He shares how the band picks who sings what, what happens when one of them gets sick, and how the producers played a surprising role in shaping the new album. Michael also discusses his favorite tracks from Giants and Monsters, why he avoids watching Helloween videos or even listening back to finished albums, and how that keeps his performances fresh. He recalls his early years with the band, why he left at just 24, how the Pumpkins United reunion finally came together, and what’s kept the current lineup happy and productive nearly eight years later. Plus, Michael reveals his lifelong love of Elvis, how the King influenced his own stage presence, and his all-time favorite Elvis track.
